My husband and I were a COVID couple and had to push back our wedding several times. Crystal was very responsive and continuously updated us on new regulations for the venue as well as what dates were available. Once our final date was set, we walked through everything with Crystal and our planner and the day of went off smoothly! Five days later, our guests are still raving about the food and the venue itself! We wouldn't change a thing about the night!

I can't thank Crystal Harrell (Best Impressions Caterers, Byron's South End) enough for helping us plan and execute my daughter's wedding. I live in a different state so I was worried things might get missed or not communicated properly but once we began working with Crystal my worries were gone. She was so responsive, would send me pictures and diagrams of the set up, offer great suggestions on everything and pulled off what was the best wedding I've ever attended! We had both the ceremony and the reception at Byron's, and Crystal and her staff were amazing from beginning to end. The wedding was absolutely everything we hoped for and MORE! We had so many guests tell us this was the best wedding they had ever been too! They raved about everything – the food, the venue, the staff, etc. If you have to plan a wedding in Charlotte, I can't think of a better venue or group of people than Crystal and Byron's South End!

We had a fabulous experience at Bryon's despite uncertainties during the planning process due to the pandemic.
Crystal was AMAZING to work with during the planning. She was very thorough from the beginning and always responded promptly to emails. She was great at answering ALL questions and working with us when we were uncertain what our wedding may actually look like as we moved closer to the actual day and with the government restrictions always changing.
Our ceremony and reception both were at Byron's and the staff was amazing the entire night. The venue is gorgeous and the food is amazing! The event staff during the night of our wedding could not have been more helpful and wanted to ensure that my husband and I had everything we needed the entire night.
Despite getting married in a pandemic, we have the best experience at Byron's!

Byron's South End is an amazing venue! There renovations are absolutely gorgeous and they have the most amazing food. They have their own catering company called Best Impressions Catering which you use at their venue and it is THE BEST in Charlotte, NC. If you want delicious food and a beautiful space, choose Byron's South End! We had the privilege of working with Crystal Harrell and she was amazing! She answered all of our questions with so much detail and always very promptly. She made sure we got exactly what we wanted and worked with us to bring our reception together to be more than we could have asked for or imagined, we are so happy with our experience with them!

We worked with Crystal Harrell for several months leading up to the wedding and she was the biggest help through the whole process. She went above and beyond to meet with us on our schedule and was always very quick to respond to phone call and email. The biggest thing that stood out is even when she was coordinating the reception, she made sure to check on us and see that we ate amongst the craziness(And even sent to-go boxes home too). As for the reception, the food was amazing, the staff very friendly, and the space beautiful. I highly suggest Byron's to anybody in the Charlotte area looking for a venue!

Crystal and the whole Byron's Southend and Best Impressions team were amazing to work with! We felt super comfortable throughout the whole process and did not feel like we had to worry about anything on the day of the wedding. We were so happy with the final event and we have received so many compliments about the friendly staff, great food and the fun that everyone had. The team is so professional and they make planning very smooth!

AMAZING!! I got incredibly lucky working with Crystal at Best Impressions to book Byron's South End for my wedding ceremony and reception. The entire planning process was extremely smooth and Crystal is extremely responsive and helpful. I toured a few venues before seeing Byron's and the moment I stepped in I knew it was the right fit. The venue is so beautiful and there is so much you can do with the space. I met with Crystal a few times during the planning to review details and every time she was professional and helped with my dozens of questions. The food from Best Impressions was delicious and the presentation (even at the tasting) was incredible. The venue is in a great location and guests were able to Uber, park, or ride the light rail from uptown. Venues around Charlotte are either barns or hotels so finding Byron's was truly a blessing for vibe I was going for. I cannot say enough good things about Best Impressions, Crystal, or even Byron's. Amazing experience and I would choose this company and venue all over again if I could!

BEST WEDDING EVER. I cannot say enough great things about working with Bryon's South End and Best Impressions Catering. We worked with Crystal and she was very accommodating, friendly, quick to answer every question of this MOB and very knowledgeable about options to make this wedding so memorable. I asked many questions and Crystal was always very quick to respond and help me understand everything ahead of time. We LOVED the beautiful newly renovated venue, LOVED the delicious food, LOVED the exceptional service provided by all the servers and bartenders on wedding night and LOVED that our guests could ride the light rail and stay at the brand new Residence Inn City Center ( we worked with Katie in Group Hotel sales) and not have to worry one bit about transportation. I highly recommend this venue for weddings or any special event where you want to make special memories that last a lifetime. We had 141 guests all who raved about this phenomenal wedding. We rented the Atrium for the wedding and used Byron's for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing and it was the perfect combination of classy elegance for the ceremony mixed with industrial brick and wood for the celebration. Thanks Crystal and team for making this a wedding we will never forget.

I can't say enough good things about Byron's! We booked Byron's in 2017 prior to the remodel and I feel like we hit the jackpot. We absolutely loved the space before but WOW, it is absolutely stunning now. The Best Impressions/Byron's South End planning staff was outstanding to work with! We worked with Crystal Harrell. She was extremely responsive and was able to accommodate ALL of our requests. One request was adding a champagne wall two weeks before the wedding...the request was truly a shot in the dark and between her and Party Reflections they were able to bring our vision to life. It's proximity to the hotels in uptown make it easy to access either by Uber or Light Rail. Their partnerships with Best Impressions (their "in-house" caterer) and Party Reflections make the planning process a breeze and payment very easy.

We had our wedding Ceremony and Reception at Byron's South End and it was amazing!! We knew going into it that the venue was going to be undergoing some renovations, but were going to be done prior to our event. Although the renovations came closer to the date of our event than my anxious heart would have liked, Crystal Harrell with Best Impressions (catering company that owns Byron's) kept me informed every step of the way and had a plan in place for any mishap. There were no mishaps. It was the most perfectly executed wedding I've ever seen!

We LOVE Byron's - it was the absolutely perfect venue for us. Everyone we interacted with was super professional, and our big day was executed perfectly. The food was especially amazing - countless people have told us that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding!

Byron's is the perfect wedding venue! Location, food, drinks, atmosphere, staff - everything is perfect!! Danielle and Crystal were such a pleasure to work with - they were so responsive during the planning process and planned every little detail to make sure that our wedding went perfectly - and it did!! Choosing Byron's as our venue was the best decision we made!

We are so grateful to the staff at Byron's and especially our catering manager, Jenna, for making our reception such a phenomenal event!! Their catering company Best Impressions is truly best in the industry! Every bite we had during our tasting was mind-blowing-good! The sweet potato ravioli is still being talked about by our friends and family! Although there was a bit of staff turnover, we ended up with a fun and flexible contact in Jenna. They allowed all of the special, personal requests we made and relieved me of many headaches up until the last day!! I cannot recommend Byron's enough. The only problem we had was that their dance floor was almost not big enough, but that's a great problem to have! :)

We hosted our daughters wedding at Byron's on 5/29/21, and this venue is AMAZING! Working with Crystal was so stress free! She is responsive, gave us great suggestions and was so easy to work with! All of the staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help, if needed. Let me tell you about the quality of food...ABOVE OUR EXPECTATIONS!! Everyone at the reception complimented the food and venue...you will NOT go wrong holding your event here!!

My husband and I had an outstanding wedding reception at Bryon's South End! Our friends and family have said hands down it was the best wedding and reception that have every been to. The prep leading up to the reception was easy with quick response time and flexibility allowing me to use a personal touch to make the reception reflect the look we were going for. We loved the exposed brick walls, lighting, and dark wood features. The set up of the room is perfect with the elevated bar area, open dining and dance area and section for buffet. The staff was so kind and professional during the reception to us as the bride and groom as well as all of the guests. And the food....Best Impressions Catering provided the most delicious appetizers and dinner. Very high quality and our guests repeatedly told us how delicious it was. They even packed some up for us to take back to the hotel. The whole event was a good value, and I am so glad I chose to have my reception at Bryon's South End : )

Byron's accommodated everything I wanted during my wedding reception.
When the wedding party arrived in the lobby (before being introduced), Byron's provided hors d'ouevres and drinks for us.
After our introductions, the bride & groom first dance, the father-daughter dance, and the mother-son dance took place.
Byron's served a plate for the bride and groom so that we would be able to eat while our guests were serving themselves at the buffett, then while our guests were eating we were able to walk around, greet them, and thank them for coming to our wedding.
Everything you need at Byron's can probably be accommodated. They are very friendly and they maintain professionalism throughout the entire process.

Heidi McBride and the team at Best Impressions Catering/Byron's South End were incredible to work with. The venue was perfect and the food, delicious...we're still receiving compliments on the food. The reception staff was responsive and accommodating. The evening was amazing, and we couldn't have asked for more.

When my husband and I picked out the date we wanted for our wedding, our next big task was finding a venue. And one that would be large enough to hold easily 200-300 people. Yes, it was going to be a big party- I'm from a big family, my husband has a large group of friends that travel for all events and then of course we met at work- so our co-workers needed to be there to celebrate with us!

We stumbled upon Byron's- looking at venues that could hold large parties. Once we made an appointment to go there and look around- we were sold. Byron's is a great location- 5 minutes from Uptown Charlotte, right in the hear of South End. It's an old knitting mill that's been renovated and has such character and charm! Byron's is a stop off the light rail (East/West Blvd) and since most of our guests were staying at The Westin, they could take the train to get there.

Ryan and I are not traditional people, so we knew we wanted to have our big day in one location so travel would be minimal for our guests and Byron's provides that. Between the Atrium that we used for the wedding ceremony, the courtyard that held our cocktail hour and the reception hall, once our guests got there, they didn't have to leave until they were tired. And that made it so easy!

We couldn't be happier with the service the venue provided and the great catering that is done by Best Impressions (read my review there too)! Our guest all raved about how awesome and unique our venue was and how it totally transpired into a magical place for our wedding! Especially the Atrium where the ceremony was held. My bridal party couldn't envision was it would look like on our big day, but once we got there- they were all mesmerized by how awesome it looked!

I would definitely recommend Byron's for a venue to use for future events! The staff there takes such great care of you that hiring a wedding coordinator is unnecessary! And that's great not to have to deal with!

Byron's South End is a beautiful venue! It's fun, a little bit modern, but overall it's perfect for anyone's style. The people that work there are so friendly and helpful. It's definitely one of the best reception venues in Charlotte!

We loved Byron's South End!
We moved in the middle of wedding planning and Byron's did everything to make our wedding planning seamless. Everything we needed was done electronically- communication, layouts, payment. The actual wedding day and leading up to the wedding was perfect. They accommodated everything we needed and made it as low stress as possible. The service at the wedding was phenomenal. Guests said that if they motioned for the waiter, most of them hustled right over to help. The food was fantastic and there was a lot of it. The space is gorgeous! I loved that the tables and chairs came with the venue. I was so happy to use Nebel alley for pictures as well as the courtyard for cocktail hour. The ceremony and reception was inside, which was great since the day was very warm. Danielle, Crystal, and Stephanie were very professional during the entire event. I worked with Danielle. I didn't meet Stephanie until my wedding day, but she did an excellent job! Did I mention how delicious the food was? Everyone raved about the appetizers and loved the buffet we did. A lot of our guests stayed at the Hilton City Center downtown, which has a stop on the light rail, and used the light rail to get to the venue. The East/ West stop is right there! There were a lot of opportunities for great photos with a gorgeous city backdrop.

We were beyond pleased with Byrons! The venue was beautiful (new carpet and paint was done before our wedding which was even better then what we started with so we got a free upgrade)! The space was the perfect size even though our wedding was small (65). It didn't feel like we were being swallowed by a giant space but there was also plenty of room for much larger weddings as well. The staff was also phenomenal. Our coordinator at the venue changed a few weeks after we booked and this may have been an issue for some people but I'm happy it happened. Danielle was the best. She was very responsive and helpful and this got even better as we got closer to our wedding date. We were able to meet as many times as I needed to to discuss everything and every time I went I felt like a priority. Can not say enough about the great staff. The price was reasonable for what we were getting as well considering you get the venue and caterer with Byrons. Highly, highly recommend!

Byron’s south end was such a wonderful vendor to work with. My husband and I were thrilled with their quality of service. The space is gorgeous and made decorating so easy, it was so nice to not have to transform a space. Crystal, our venue coordinator was fantastic and never tired of answering my questions. Everything was just as we had spoken about when we arrived on site for our wedding. The food was delicious and the space was beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend booking your event at Byron’s!

My husband and I could not have had a better reception on July 24th. Byron's South End had a modern and industrial edge right in the middle of South End, Charlotte, NC. Conveniently located across from the light rail, we were easily able to make it uptown to our hotel that night. The staff was competent and diligent. Accept for a couple of cues to the band, the planners and wait staff were attentive to our guests and to us. It was a magical night for both me and my husband and I couldn't have dreamed of celebrating our wedding in any other venue!
