I got engaged in August of 2020 and Blair immediately jumped into action. As one of my dearest friends and a wedding planner she was super excited come up with a game plan for the next year which was fantastic because I had no idea where to start.
Blair is one of the most professional, level headed, organized, punctual, creative people I know. She was seriously the lifeline I needed while I was planning the wedding AND on the day of. I felt like every step of the way she had my back and knew exactly what my next steps should be whenever I got stuck. Anytime I got anxious about something, she reassured me she had it handled and once the day finally came, she definitely proved it; I didn't have to think or worry about anything. Blair is so easy to get along with, she makes what seems like it's going to be a super stressful task (planning a wedding) into something fun, which is what it should be! I also have to say Blair has some great relationships with tons of vendors, it makes so many of the other hard decisions that much easier (like picking a photographer, florist, etc).
I can rave about Blair and BW Studio + Events forever but I'll just leave with this last comment : Blair and her team are great, they know exactly how to handle any and all curveballs and they do it with a reassuring smile the whole time. It's pretty great. -

We cannot recommend BW Studios enough! We worked with Michelle and Neva for both wedding coordination in the months leading up to our wedding and day-of coordination, and they were absolutely phenomenal from start to finish.
Their communication was incredible. They responded to emails promptly, always within 24 hours and often the very same day. They answered every question we had, supported our ideas, and helped take so much of the stress and last-minute planning off our shoulders.
On our wedding day, they truly allowed us to be fully present. I never once worried about what was happening behind the scenes because I knew Michelle and Neva had everything handled. Their organization, professionalism, and attention to detail made the entire day run seamlessly, and we were able to simply enjoy every moment.
We are so grateful they were part of our wedding team and can confidently say hiring them was one of the best decisions we made throughout the planning process. -

Angelena and Blair were absolutely fantastic as our day-of coordinators! From the moment we met them, both women were incredibly friendly, professional, and communicative, which immediately put us at ease. They jumped in three months before the wedding and held calls with us and took over coordinating with vendors, which kept everything organized and on track leading up to the big day.
Their planning calls were so thorough and thoughtful that, as a very type A bride, I truly felt comfortable relinquishing the reins and trusting them completely. On the wedding day itself, both women were phenomenal. They handled every detail seamlessly, solved problems calmly and efficiently (including an issue with the wrong cake received!), and maintained such a steady, positive presence throughout the day.
Not only did we love working with them, but our family members and bridal party kept commenting on how wonderful they were as well. We genuinely could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend them to anyone looking for coordinators who are organized, dependable, and truly care about making your day perfect. We love you BW Studio + Events! -

I knew I would need a day-of coordinator because I wanted all of my family and friends to enjoy the day with me and not be the 'point person' for emergencies. But I had no idea how much we really were going to need a coordinator, THANK GOD for Blair and her team!! I had no idea how much planning went into weddings, all the little details to keep track of, the timeline for the day, the day of emergencies.. Even if you think you're pretty organized and can do it alone... BOOK a day of coordinator.. and especially this one! This wedding literally would not have happened without Blair and her team. It made the endless decisions and little details easier to keep track of and made it much less overwhelming. And the day of, BW staff were excellent at keeping us on track for photos, helping me with my bustle for about 10 minutes (sorry ladies!), and keeping everything running smoothly. Cannot thank or recommend them enough! -

Blair was our wedding planner over Labor Day Weekend at Revel Motor Row in Chicago. She made me feel comfortable from the very beginning, which made the whole process feel manageable and even fun! Our team - Neva & Kim - were amazing! From starting the process of searching for a day of coordinator nearly 18 months ago, we knew that BW Studio + Events was for us. Through every step of the process, they were available for questions and assistance of all kinds. Our wedding day truly could not have gone smoother. I did not have to worry about any detail being executed, as it was already done before I even thought about it! Their expertise on the wedding industry is above the standard. While pricing may seem high initially compared to a traditional day of coordinator, what you get in return with actually like ~3 months of assistance (at the times that really matter), BW Studio + Events was more than well worth it! -

Blair and her team, Elly and Neva, were lifesavers for our wedding! We met her team during an open house for The Brix, the venue where we had our reception. We found out that my cousin was also working with her for his wedding and he had the most amazing things to say so we knew we were in good hands! Blair is easy to talk to and work with, professional, kind, understanding, and extremely organized! She helped us stick to our budget, coordinate with other vendors, and gave us so many recommendations and options for high quality vendors. Blair is extremely responsive! We loved how quickly she was responding to any questions we had and I also really appreciated the nudges on deadlines! We have extremely busy schedules and we travel often, so the frequent reminders and check-ins were crucial. We were grateful that there were scheduled talks intermittently throughout the planning process. It really helped us manage the timeline and logistics. If you’re a Type-A Bride, you will love the website they put together to help keep things organized (seating chart, vendors etc). On the big day, Blair and her team ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to enjoy ourselves. My husband and I highly recommend BW Studio for anyone looking to make their wedding stress-free and memorable! -

BW Studios was amazing to work with. Blair made our partnership feel personal early on by connecting with us and seeking to truly understand our wedding vision. She was incredibly professional, organized, and thoughtful throughout the few months we worked with her, setting check-in meetings and providing helpful inspiration along the way.
In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Blair really stepped in and managed all of our wedding vendors skillfully, leading to a seamless wedding day!
The day of the wedding, BW Studios took over our wedding venue – they set everything up exactly as we had planned, answered questions from staff and guests, and even fluffed the bride’s dress as she turned the corner of the aisle with her father.
As the night rolled on, BW Studios was there to lead us to our places, our cake cutting, and everything in between as we were caught up in the excitement of our wedding. They were always making sure everything played out perfectly! And when the reception came to a close, Blair and team collected all of our most important items, as well as some memorabilia we hadn’t had much time with, and had them neatly packaged up for us.
Overall, we can’t recommend BW Studios enough; if you want someone beyond a mere wedding coordinator, you’ll find them a great partner to work with and take so much stress out of the planning and the big day itself. Cheers!

My husband and I will never stop recommending BW Studio + Events!!!! Blair is an absolute pro! She has a fool-proof strategy for wedding planning, a wealth of wedding knowledge and connections with the highest quality vendors, and a stunning vision and ability to understand the vision of others! The peace of mind Blair's expertise and communication brought to our planning process was PRICELESS. We knew no detail would be missed, and we were confident that Blair could handle any challenge that might come our way, whether it was on the day of or during planning. Our wedding day was truly perfect, and the way the vision in my head came to life in our venue surpassed my expectations! Meanwhile, I had the most chill, beautiful morning getting ready for the wedding, and I have her assistant Elly to thank for it! She was absolutely spectacular. She was present every moment we needed her and blended into the background while sneakily helping, like steaming our dresses and setting up the gifts for my ladies without us even knowing. She was like our secret fairy godmother! And when I was getting ready to walk down the aisle and was feeling anxious, she was the most calm presence. She really helped me keep my composure. Working with Blair was probably the best decision we made during the process of planning our wedding. My husband and I both work 9-5 corporate jobs, and we knew that we needed to bring someone onto our “wedding team” that would help keep us on track with all of the milestones during the wedding planning process.
From the get-go, over our 15-month planning period, Blair was always transparent about timing and was a master of following up regarding timelines, without ever badgering us or coming across as controlling. She spent over an hour discussing budgets with us and our families early on, to make sure that everything we planned stayed in the budget range that we’d all agreed upon.
This was especially helpful during our venue and vendor selection process. She helped us find that blew our socks off, and also found us the most wonderful florist (@thelocalpetaler) who was able to provide us way more bang for our buck than any florist we’d be able to find on our own - a huge advantage. While we had our venue already picked out, Blair was able to recommend a food and beverage package with an available catering company that fell delivered us fantastic food and a premium beverage package that fit our budget. Leading up to the wedding, Blair was also a master in helping us coordinate our wedding day planning including family photos, transportation e.g. coordinating our bus between multiple hotels and the venue while making it easy for us to just focus on ourselves. The peace of mind that Blair brought us throughout the planning process, week of, and day of our wedding made having our wedding a cakewalk rather than a headache.
Spending the money to hire Blair was the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding! -

Blair is fantastic!
If you’re thinking “should I hire Blair?”, the answer is yes! Blair and her team are absolutely fantastic! My husband and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She was incredibly organized, kind, knowledgeable, responsive, and thoughtful about the details of our wedding. We appreciated her insights into vendors and she provided us with great options for every vendor we needed. If we wanted more options, she gave us more options. She was very helpful on calls and provided us with questions for vendors so that we could plan our wedding with as little stress as possible. Blair was always calm and reassuring. She gave us the confidence to make tough decisions. We thought that Blair really understood what was important to us and got our vision for our wedding. She helped us make our dreams a reality at every turn. The day of went perfectly, and it was great that we knew Blair was there to handle all the details. Our family and bridal party got to spend time with us while the ideal professionals made sure it all went smoothly. We also attended a friend’s wedding that Blair planned, and that wedding was amazing as well! Our family were thrilled and still bring up how much they loved Blair. Our wedding truly would not have happened without Blair. We had some changes leading up to our wedding day and we would have been panicked if we did not have Blair. She took our phones calls and responded to emails consistently and helped us problem-solve. We are forever grateful for her constant guidance and support. On our wedding day, we had to make some last minute calls due to the weather. Everything was solved and happened seamlessly. My (now wife) and I were planning a 200+ person wedding in a 6 month time span, and Blair came recommended to us through a family friend... it ended up as one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. We had Blair as our day of coordinator, but she provided so much more, and most importantly peace of mind. We had an initial meet over zoom to get a feel for one another, go over some details we had already planned for the day, and what all goes into having a coordinator. Throughout the months of planning, we had check-in calls, checklists to go through to stay organized, and walk throughs at the venue were incredibly helpful. She coordinated with our other vendors extremely well. On the day of, Blair made the venue space look awesome and was on point with all that was needed, and the day went smoothly.

It’s hard to put into words the value that Blair added to our wedding experience. Not just the day of, but the whole planning process. We interviewed over 10 wedding planners before settling on Blair. As soon as we got off our info call with her, we knew we wanted to book her, and boy were we right to do so. She made our 200-person wedding an absolute dream.
From the get go, Blair fully immersed herself in understanding our wedding vision. Specifically, she jumped in to learn about the nuances of our multicultural wedding traditions (Assyrian & Jewish), and was genuinely excited to do so. Meeting with Blair was always a joy. She was flexible in her scheduling and always showed up to our sessions prepared and with a smile.
Blair did an impeccable job in assisting us with vendor selection. She did not bat an eye when we wanted more options, and I’m overjoyed to say that every single vendor we worked with under her recommendation was superb, above and beyond our wildest dreams. Our one vendor who fell short, our tuxedo rental company for the groomsmen, was a recommendation from a friend, not Blair, and when they fell short, Blair pulled out all the stops to get them back on track for us.
In the months leading up to the wedding, Blair assured me every step of the way. Through every panicked email from me and crazy planning call with my maid of honor and family, Blair was professional and understanding, never making me feel like I was inconveniencing her or that my worries were silly. No question was too small or too repetitive for Blair, nor was she phased by any of the pre-wedding snafus that inevitably come up when planning a large-scale event.
On the day of, Blair was a vision of calm competence, as was her incredible team of planners. She was focused and did not take her eye from the ball for a second. She coordinated myriad vendors while making sure I remained unaware of any snafus, which she fixed immediately with no one noticing. She made sure the bridal party was in check and kept us on schedule without making us feel like we were rushing any important parts of the day. She assisted me and my maid of honor in bustling my dress and even had a member of her team go back to the hotel for some items we’d accidentally left behind. After two years of planning, I was able to fully be present in and enjoy my wedding day because of Blair.
I will sing Blair’s praises to anyone who will listen, including one of my best friends and my now-husband’s cousin who have both hired her for their weddings. She went above and beyond in every way and was an absolute delight the whole time. After the wedding, multiple guests told me they want to be friends with my wedding planner, and honestly, same. What else can we say except that Blair and her team at BW Studio + Events will make your day absolutely perfect. We used them for day-of coordinating and were absolutely blown away at their attention to detail and ability to anticipate any needs that arose. It’s should be no shock as Blair and her team will spend plenty of time syncing with you and ahead of time, coordinating with vendors if needed, creating timelines and making sure any and all small details are included. Our wedding could not have been this perfect without Blair & Samantha. We were planning from out of state and at first, we thought we could do it without a day-of coordinator but the moment we hired Blair, we knew it was the right choice - it saved us so much headache! Right away, there was a plan that was easy for us to follow with regular check-ins, to-do lists, incredible planning tools and even then, Blair was just a text or phone call away. She shared with us so many resources, tips, and advice we didn’t know we needed, she kept us on track throughout the long planning process, and she took care of so much more that we probably are not even aware of before, during, and after the wedding. We heard about maybe some small incidents happening at the wedding (a glass spilled, etc.), but we can’t even verify the story because Blair and Samantha took care of it before anyone could notice. There’s so much more to say about what they do, but plain and simple: Blair and Samantha are incredible in every sense of the term. Not only did they make it easy on us, the couple, but even our wedding party and family told us how much help they were to them. Also, they made sure we had food! AND DRINKS! We can’t express how thankful we are to them and we cannot recommend them enough - they might be the best in the business! -

To say that Blair is an incredible wedding planner would be an understatement. Blair worked with my husband Chris and I over the last year and a half and throughout the entire planning and execution process Blair was tactical, thoughtful, and incredibly focused on the details.
For newly engaged couples, wedding planning can be stressful and for us, COVID-19 added a completely new layer of unforeseen challenges which Blair navigated without ever missing a beat. We changed locations, guest counts and a million other details and Blair gave us the confidence and assurance we needed to pull off a wedding that far surpassed our wildest dreams and expectations.
Blair doesn’t treat her clients as numbers, she treats her clients as friends which is something I always appreciated. I constantly looked forward to our planning meetings and always felt comfortable reaching out with any of my questions. From our first meeting to our wedding day, Blair went above and beyond to make sure that everything was always 1 step above perfect.

Hiring Blair was truly the best decision we made for our wedding (other than getting married)! She was unbelievably helpful, calming, friendly, communicative and fantastic throughout our entire engagement and wedding day, despite the massive curveballs COVID threw us. She helped set our tables and truly brought to life the vision we had for our day. When rain was in the forecast, Blair dropped off a big bag of umbrellas. When the venue was being a pain, Blair advocated for us and was an amazingly calming and friendly face to have on such a jam-packed day. Truly would recommend Blair time and time again to whoever will listen - we LOVED having her! -

Amazing partner who completely over-delivered on our expectations!
From the first time Blair and I spoke, I knew she would be the right choice for our wedding coordinator. I had interviewed several other coordinators that focused most of the initial conversation around their extensive services and the details of all of the elaborate weddings they have planned and coordinated. Blair, on the other hand, was more interested in genuinely connecting with me to understand what makes my (now) husband and I unique, and how we saw the big day coming together. I described to her that we wanted a meaningful ceremony, a fun reception, and for our guests to feel like the day was uniquely “us,” without too many frills. She responded, “Got it- so maybe more similar to a great dinner party,” which was exactly how we had been talking about it. From then on, we knew we had a genuine, diligent, and capable partner in Blair, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision.
Blair was fantastic with so many things, including:
Making us feel comfortable throughout the planning…While setting the right expectations: We only had six months between the time we got engaged and when we got married, and Blair was awesome at helping us think through what needed to be done immediately, what could wait, and what we didn’t need to worry about at all. She was always calm and composed, and great thinking through potential solutions to any curve ball thrown our way.
Providing support and professional perspective, while respecting our ‘vision’: One example of this was creating our day-of timeline. We probably changed the timeline ten times throughout the process, but I’m so happy we talked through it all with Blair (in very deliberately spaced stages) because she made us think about how our decisions would impact our guests and the flow of the night. For example, we figured guests might like to find their own seats at dinner, but Blair encouraged (did not force) us to think about this from the guest’s perspective, and we decided to do table assignments (which I am so glad we did!).
Designing a beautiful set up and experience, with very little guidance from us: We bought most of our decorations used, purchased limited floral from Whole Foods, and shared some Pinterest boards that looked appealing to us. That’s about it. Blair took the limited input and supplies we provided and ran with it, creating a BEAUTIFUL setup for both the ceremony and reception.
Coordinating seamless transitions throughout the night. We received multiple comments from our guests about the whole night running smoothly, with everyone knowing where they needed to be. Everything was on time, as well, which I had heard from my married friends was virtually impossible. Blair and team coordinated a quick ‘flip’ during cocktail hour to convert the room we had the ceremony in into our dinner table setup. As we had discussed with Blair prior to the night, my husband and I wanted to have some time away from it all during dinner, and she made us amazing dinner plates and scurried us away so we could enjoy dinner in peace while our guests were being seated for the meal. During the reception, Blair arranged all of our desserts beautifully, while Markus, her partner, picked up the hot dogs from Portillo’s (all the way downtown!) for late night snacks, and somehow snuck away to buy more cups when we ran out. Everything the night of – including some family drama – was made better by Blair and Markus, and I can’t imagine how everything would have turned out without them.
My husband and I would recommend BW Studio & Events to ANYONE for their wedding, without hesitation.

Blair is absolutely amazing! She was our day of coordinator for our wedding and everything was above and beyond what we expected! We were unsure if we wanted to get a coordinator at first, and after working with her - I wouldn’t change a thing. We planned a wedding across country, and didn’t actually get to meet Blair in person until the rehearsal, yet she was so easy to work with. The online platform she shared with us made it so easy to communicate and plan out things. She made every step of the planning so simple, seamless and somehow she miraculously put together our vision and made our day better than we could have ever dreamed of. Blair is a hustler and I swear she was in five places at the same time getting fifteen things done at once. I’m not sure how she does it and does it so well. She has such a caring heart, was so attentive to all our needs, and truly enjoys what she does and it shows. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to include Blair in our big day - it just wouldn’t have been the same!
If you are considering any sort of planner for your wedding, look no further - Blair is your girl. -

Blair was absolutely amazing!! Blair is very quick to respond to all communication and very thorough in all of her advice / answers. She is incredibly helpful. When we ran into an issue with another vendor, Blair immediately came to the rescue and sent us multiple recommendations / check ins the same day! This made me feel so much less stress !! She was absolutely AMAZING for our set up! We had SOOO many little details to be set up and she & her husband set up everything PERFECTLY!! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw our venue and how everything came together!! She was wonderful in designing our timeline & worked with me to make it work. She had incredible communication with our whole team. I am so glad we found Blair, thank you!! -

Blair was so great to work with! As soon as we hired her, she took over ALL vendor communication, which was extremely helpful for us to be able to focus on the other important aspects we needed to. Blair also visited the venue, church and other vendors applicable on her own to make sure she met with and could see the locations on her own. She offered helpful suggestions throughout the process as well. On top of her punctuality and professionalism, Blair has a positive and calming personality that ensures she has things taken care of you! -

Wedding 4/27/19
I would recommend BW Studios and Events to anyone. Blair was amazing. She helped me with planning my wedding from start ro finish. She is extremely friendly and great to work with. Everything I asked for she did. We had several meetings and conversations to go over what I want and all my expectations. She even went to the Venue to see how it looks to get a better idea of where things will need to be. I know most grooms will say you don't need a planner/coordinator, but you do and even my husband agreed afterwards. Blair is extremely organized and Truly enjoys her what she does. She is extremely responsive and followed up with every question I had right away. She created a day of timeline which helped a lot. Her and her husband set up all my decorations and took them down without a problem. She coordinated with all my vendors to make sure they were all set with everything needed from them. Her first concern was us and made sure anything and everything we needed She did. Nothing was a bother to her and the day ran absolutely flawless with NO STRESS, which is what every couple wants on their special day. Again, I cant stress enough how lucky i am to have found her and would recommend her to anyone looking for a planner/coordinator for a wedding. I also gained a great friend. -

We had the pleasure of partnering with BW Studio+Events / Blair during a recent wedding we hosted at our venue.
