Stacy Burleson is the hero you absolutely want to have for your wedding. From the beginning, she told us she would make it so we didn't have to worry for a moment at our wedding – and she was completely true to her claim. We had an unpredictably difficult wedding day and she handled every challenge like the champion coordinator that she is. She never missed a beat and attended to not only our needs, but the needs of our families, the wedding party, all of our guests, our vendors, and the staff at our venue. Throughout the planning process, she continually checked in to make sure that we were maintaining the wedding vision we had set. Stacy would make us aware of any possible side effects/challenges of the decisions we were making, but ultimately always supported our goals. Her extensive knowledge of the wedding industry, the local vendors, and Wintergreen Resort were crucial to our planning process and helped make everything run seamlessly on the wedding day. Her attention-to-detail and organization are unmatched. At our final call after the wedding, it felt like we were saying goodbye to an old friend. If you are having any doubts, Stacy Burleson is the one you want to coordinate your wedding! -

The best of the best wedding planner!
Stacy is truly a remarkable individual, and expressing my admiration for her and her team feels impossible. Approximately eight months before our wedding, I reached out to Stacy, and from the very beginning of our planning journey, she exceeded all expectations. Her personal resources and monthly check-ins provided a sense of organization and assurance that was invaluable.
Throughout those eight months, Stacy ensured that every element of our wedding came together flawlessly. Her monthly check-ins served as a testament to her attentiveness and dedication, as she not only listened to our ideas and desires but then transformed them into reality. Not only is Stacy and her team magicians in making a wedding look absolutely amazing, on the day of the event, Stacy resolved issues I wasn't even aware of until they were resolved.
Stacy's passion and commitment to her work are truly remarkable, and entrusting her with such a pivotal role in our special day is a decision I will never regret. We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have not only found an outstanding wedding planner but also a cherished family friend.
Lastly, it's worth mentioning that Stacy's talent extends beyond wedding planning; her expertise in floral arrangements is equally exceptional. I shared my vision from Pinterest with her, and she effortlessly brought it to life. -

Helping to create my dream day
Months later and I’m still speechless at the day that Stacy and her team made for me. From our very first consultation I felt confident that Stacy understood exactly what I was looking for, and I trusted her completely. I didn’t have a “vision board” but gave Stacy an idea of what I liked/didn’t like and I was absolutely stunned when I walked into my reception and saw EXACTLY what I was hoping for. Stacy was on top of every single detail of my day, not once did I ever feel stressed that something wasn’t being taken care of. Time after time Stacy went above and beyond for me and my day, and the end product showed. Stacy not only took care of me and my husband on our wedding day but took care of all our guests, making sure they were comfortable and having fun: encouraging guests to drink, dance and mingle. Any potential hiccup was cared for before it ever came to my attention, allowing me to enjoy every moment of my big day (because it does fly by). Stacy even dropped off goodies to us for post wedding treats. The day after the wedding, my dad and I were walking and he turned to me and said “we could’ve never had the day we had without Stacy” and he couldn’t have been more right. So many guests were complimenting how wonderful she was: the decor, the flowers, the flow of the day, the small details and the pure joy and professionalism she brought to the entire day. My day was a complete dream and wouldn’t have been possible with Stacy and her team. We will forever be grateful for all the work she did for our very special day. -

March 2022 Wedding
Stacy and her team completely exceeded our expectations, from date of booking she helped to talk me through every step of wedding planning process. Our wedding was run so smoothly and I even had guests coming up to me saying how amazing and on point my planner was. My favorite part of working with Stacy was designing our reception and all of the decor that went into taking my wedding vision turn into a Pinterest perfect wedding that everyone couldn’t stop talking about. Normally the week before your wedding is the most stressful but I was surprisingly relaxed and the few days leading up to the big day were so enjoyable since we had knocked everything off a to do list well before that. I was able to focus on my family and friends instead of the logistics! If you need coordinating and design/planning I can’t recommend Stacy and her team enough! Best choice we made was hiring Burleson’s Big Day Events ! -

Our wedding day simply would not have been what it was (absolutely incredible) had it not been for Stacy and her team. I initially hired Stacy to be my coordinator, but as the planning process went on, she stepped in and became my florist as well. Her floral work alone was STUNNING. I had so many people ask who did my flowers and when I told them Stacy, they were blown away that she handled the coordinating, ceremony/reception design AND florals! Not only does Stacy have a wonderful inventory of items that can be used for your big day, but she truly understood the vision I had for our wedding and then bought it to fruition tenfold. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a planner/coordinator/florist. She knows what she is doing and she executes her plan beautifully. We would not have had the wedding of our dreams without Stacy and we LOVED her and her team! You will not regret hiring Burleson’s Big Day Events!! -

I got to work with this God send of a wedding planner at a wedding recently! A joy to be around, had everything thought through and covered and wend above and beyond! I cannot wait to work with her again. And I can tell you right now having worked with a lot of wedding vendors she is one you NEED to hire! -

I don't even know where to start. Stacy is a GODSEND. Let me give you some context: we were planned to get married in Cancun (planed for 15 months) and due to covid, we had to cancel EVERYTHING 11 weeks out. To say we were sad, lost, confused, and upset would be an understatement. We decided that no matter what we wanted to get married on Halloween 2020, so we set out to find a domestic venue. Stacy was recommended by our venue, and she is literally the best thing to ever happen to us. The first time we met her (video chat cuz covid duh) there was an instant connection, she even made me cry and I don't ever do that! She made us feel like the most special couple in the world. Especially dealing with the heartbreak of canceling our destination wedding she assured us that our wedding would be even more magical. I have never met someone that is so on top of her game and also ALWAYS smiling. She helped us find pretty much all of our vendors, and they all did amazing work for us. She was such a joy to work with and you can see that she loves what she does and loves the couples that she works with. She also had multiple surprises for us planned throughout our entire weekend, we left the decor in her hands and she did NOT disappoint. I am not just saying this because it was my wedding, but it was the most magical, fairytale wedding I have ever seen. She also ended up having to marry us because our officiant came down with Covid. She was amazing and we are both so glad that it was she who brought us together in matrimony. In working with Stacy I did not have to worry about ANYTHING! She brought my spooky elegance (boo-jee) theme to life, and literally made my dreams come true. Stacy is not just our wedding planner but now a good friend for life. The way I felt on my wedding day, is how everyone should feel and I owe a lot of that to Stacy and the stress she took off my plate, and the heartfelt surprises she planned for us. Do not think twice about hiring Stacy, she will do whatever it takes to make sure you have the day you deserve. Also adding a picture of my face when our reception space was unveiled, if that does not tell you how AMAZING her and her team are, I am not sure what will! -

I would have fallen apart without Stacy. She recommended other vendors, we used her extra decor, and she made sure everything happened on time and the way it was supposed to. She even printed schedules for all VIPs and sent me an itemized list of dinnerware to purchase when I couldn’t decide myself. Not one single worry crossed my mind on my wedding day all thanks to Stacy. I couldn’t recommend her more!! -

Amazing Planner!
Stacy was so thoughtful and understanding when my husband and I were trying to decide whether or not to postpone the wedding due to Covid. She met with us, spoke on the phone and emailed us to make us feel confident in our decision. She helped us make the right decision for us but reassuring us that she would handle the vendors and that she would make it perfect either way. She kept her word! Our elopement on our original wedding day was a dream come true. We had a few curveballs thrown our way but she handled them all gracefully. My husband and I could not be more thankful to her attention to detail. I did not have to think of one thing, she had it all covered! If you are considering a planner, Stacy should be on the top of the list, she is worth it! Her assistant Mazanne was so thoughtful and kind and I look forward to working with her in the future. You can truly tell these two ladies absolutely love what they do! -

Always Above and Beyond
There are not enough positive words on the planet to describe how grateful we are for Burleson’s Big Day Events. Stacy and Mazanne are truly incredible human beings. Stacy was helpful and responsive for every single question or issue in the year of planning (and there were many, many issues...we are in a pandemic after all). Her suggestions for the reception made everything more special. I never imagined our wedding could be a completely stress-free day, but they made it happen! Their timeline was spot on and we actually had some down time to just relax and take a breath. They’re experts for a reason! Mazanne was calm and assertive on the big day and handled everything beautifully! We had given her control of the decor for the reception and ceremony and she knocked it out of the park!!! Everything was so beautiful! They treat you like family from start to finish! I could go on and on, but just HIRE THEM! I promise 100% it will be worth every single penny. -

There are simply not enough words to describe just how amazing Stacy is! From the first meeting to the day of she was incredibly informative, organized, reassuring and made it clear the bride & groom are her number one priority, all while making it fun and stress-free.. even with throwing fun family drama her way, she handled everything professionally and of course with a huge friendly smile on her face. Not only was our day perfect, it exceeded anything we could have dreamed of and it was all thanks to Stacy and her team working behind the scenes and adding in tiny personal touches! On a day as important as your wedding don't take any chances and hire Stacy as your planner/coordinator, I promise you will be SOO grateful you did!! -

She works her butt off for you to make sure everything is perfect!!!! She always stays in constant contact with you and adds so many wonderful touches that you would have never thought of!! She is absolutely the best and I would recommend her a thousand times!!!! -

Perfect in every way!
Stacy and her team were perfect in every way. She spent hours on the phone with us talking through and changing details whenever we had a change of plan. She was wonderful the day of the wedding too - our venue looked amazing with all of her small touches. If was so nice to turn the details over to her and know it would be done!! Thanks Stacy!! -

We retained Stacey for our day of needs. Of course she started spreading her magic long before. We knew the first day we met the 6ft lady in heels that she was perfect for us. I didn’t lift a finger the day of the wedding. All vendors were contacted and organized. Stacey even fixed my errors without me knowing. Our day was perfect because Stacey made sure things I didn’t even know I needed were done. She took the time to set up the room for the photographer. Wal-mart health and beauty was set up in case of headache or broken limb. She had it all. When we were running behind, Stacey gently pushed us. The wedding started on time and guest were cared for at the reception. I wish I could turn back the clock and hire this fun, spirited, organized, get you straight with a smile planner earlier in the process. To sum it up... perfect. I couldn’t have been happier. -

When I think about what Stacy and her assistant did during our wedding day, I am speechless. From the minute we hired Stacy, she was nothing but amazing. Any time I went to her with a question, she was always there with an answer. She made sure I was never stressed and I didn’t feel stressed until the day of, but knowing she was there took my stress away!! We talked about my visions, what I wanted and what I didn’t want. She didn’t allow us to go into the barn to see the final décor choices, it was a complete surprise and I was amazed. Our wedding day was a literal dream and you will not go wrong if you hire Stacy, I cannot recommend her enough. -

Stacy Burleson's team really helped my wedding go off without a hitch. We didn't have much setup time at our venue, because they do two weddings per day, but they were on top of it! Stacy handled all of the planning, and was organized so well that although she herself couldn't be there on the day of the wedding, her team Anna and Emily had it all covered! The only thing that went wrong is I didn't get my tip envelopes to all the vendors that night, so I had to mail them later. I would highly recommend Burleson's to organize your wedding or event. -

Sarah Sent on 09/27/2018I'm not exaggerating when I say that Stacy and her team are beyond amazing and I'm still floored at what a fantastic job they did with our wedding. I was a low-key bride thinking I could do with a DIY wedding, but quickly realized I didn't know everything that went into a wedding or how to run one. Stacy listened to what we wanted, never pushed us to include things we weren't interested in, and had answers for all of my questions and concerns throughout the planning. She was prepared even when hurricane Florence threatened with all day rain on our outdoor ceremony and when one of our friends in charge of music had to leave early. Stacy kept tabs on my husband and I to make sure we had everything we needed (food, drink, moment to breathe) and there wasn't a single moment I didn't enjoy on our big day. Stacy Burleson feels like a friend and her staff are just as friendly and accommodating as she is; I cannot recommend them enough.

Kelsey Sent on 12/07/2017Oh my goodness, I don’t even know where to start. To say Stacy Burleson was amazing would be an understatement.
She was with me from the moment I hired her, until she tucked me and my husband in our car on the way home from the wedding. She handled my numerous meltdowns LIKE A BOSS, throughout our 9 months of planning together.
During the planning process, we ran into a venue issue and had to switch venues 30 days out… As if that was not stressful enough, she made me feel like I was her only client, even though she had other weddings more pressing than mine. She found my DREAM venue 28 days out, within my budget, and made my wedding come true.
I didn’t have to deal with vendors (unless I wanted to), as she handled all of it for us. She never once made me feel like I was an inconvenience. She went above and beyond to ensure I had the perfect wedding. Her prices were well within our budget and we honestly probably wouldn’t have had a wedding if it wasn’t for her.
She will always hold a special place in our hearts. I would HIGHLY recommend her. We love her!

She thinks of everything and does way more than she is supposed to! I love her and would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Stacy went above and beyond for our wedding. We had a completely outdoor ceremony which meant we had to build the ceremony and reception site from the ground up. This definitely caused a few hiccups along the way. However, I knew that Stacy would handle it and it really eased my mind to have her as our wedding coordinator. I can’t imagine how stressed I would have been without her. Everything came together perfectly and the day went as smooth as possible. Stacy truly felt like a part of our family and I am proud to be able to say that!
