Burke Mountain was the only venue we even considered for our summer wedding, and it was the best decision ever! The views of Willoughby Gap are honestly breathtaking—our guests are still obsessed with the scenery and the gorgeous hotel rooms.

The food was a total standout, too; people are still talking about how delicious everything was. A huge shoutout to Alicia, who was a total rockstar. She was so fast to respond, super flexible with our personal touches, and made sure everything ran smoothly. If you want a stress-free day with incredible service, this is it!

I never questioned where I wanted to get married — Burke Mountain Hotel and Conference Center was the one and only place I ever envisioned. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking mountain views that made our day feel truly special.

The food was excellent, the weather was perfect, and the rooms were amazing. We loved that guests didn’t have to drive anywhere and could easily walk back to their spacious rooms with beautiful views and everything they needed. Getting married in my hometown made it even more meaningful, and Alicia was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process — communicative, accommodating, and thoughtful every step of the way.

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or seamless wedding experience.

Our wedding at Burke Mountain Resort was truly the best day of my life—and those were the exact words my husband said at the end of the night.

From start to finish, the experience was absolutely incredible. Alicia, our event coordinator, deserves a special shoutout. She was phenomenal to work with—always quick to answer my questions, incredibly organized, and so helpful with suggestions that made our day even better than we imagined. Having her guidance throughout the planning process made everything feel seamless and stress-free.

The weather was perfect, and getting married on the front patio with the stunning Gap view was nothing short of magical. It was the most beautiful backdrop we could have asked for. Our family and friends are still talking about our wedding months after due to the venue because everything was so convenient being in one spot!

The food service and bartenders were exceptional—friendly, smiling, and genuinely happy to be there. The entire crew went above and beyond what was asked of them, and it truly showed. One of the most thoughtful touches was at the end of the night: they gathered all of our centerpieces and placed everything neatly in one spot for us to grab the next morning. They also packed up two boxes of our food and delivered them to our room along with our wedding gifts and cards, which was incredibly helpful after such a full, joyful day.

We couldn’t be more grateful to the Burke Mountain Resort team for making our wedding so special. If you’re considering getting married here, know that you’ll be in the best hands—and you just might end your night saying it was the best day of your life too.

I knew I wanted to get married at the top of a mountain when I was little, it was my one and only vision for my wedding. When I saw photos of weddings at the top of Burke I said thats the one!! The team at Burke made all of my dreams come true!! They truly are one stop shopping and I really loved the convenience of everything, not to mention the team was so kind and so much fun and everyone was absolutely wonderful. I couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue for our perfect dream wedding!!

I had the absolute best experience working with Alicia and Erin-they truly made our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more! From the very beginning, Alicia stood out by quickly sending me clear, detailed information on options and pricing (something I can’t say about many of the other venues I reached out to). That responsiveness and professionalism carried through the entire planning process.

Both Alicia and Erin went above and beyond to make planning stress-free. They kept me on track with all the little details, making sure every “t” was crossed and every “i” was dotted—something I deeply appreciated while juggling a busy job, building a house, and welcoming a new rescue pup into our lives!

On the big day, everything was seamless. Their attention to detail, calm presence, and genuine care allowed me to be fully present and enjoy every moment. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful and smooth the whole event was, and I credit so much of that to Alicia and Erin.

If you’re considering this venue, I can’t recommend the team highly enough. You’ll be in the best hands!

Burke Mountain Hotel & Conference Center was the best wedding venue we could’ve asked for. My husband and I visited so many wedding venue spots, but none of them compared to Burke. We wanted a venue that our guests could arrive at, park their car, and never have to get in it again until they left if they wanted, and Burke provided that. They also offer a wedding coordinator and Alicia, our coordinator was the absolute best! She was on top of everything from the full wedding weekend itinerary, providing suggestions, keeping track of deadlines, meeting with and coordinating our vendors the morning of our wedding, and ultimately making sure our entire wedding planning process and wedding weekend went perfectly. The night before our wedding, not only did she hang all the disco balls we brought for the reception herself, she also had another decor suggestion for our reception and this suggestion came with her having to paint something rather large. We loved the idea and she insisted on doing it, in the little (if any) spare time she had. She was so kind and professional and truly made our entire wedding planning experience enjoyable. We had a welcome event the night before our wedding which really helped everyone get to know each other and unwind from their travels. Our welcome event was in the Willoughby room and we utilized the patio, just off the room. We provided food, had a bar, the patio offered a fire pit, and we brought lawn games. It was a blast. The morning of our wedding, breakfast was delivered to our room which was great! When we went to decorate the ballroom, everything was setup for us so we could get right to work. Lou, the gentleman helping us move tables around, hang things, get our ceremony spot setup (chairs and arbor) was also such a pleasure to work with. He was very professional and very nice. The ceremony, reception, and after party all happened perfectly and seamlessly. If there were any hiccups behind the scenes, we never knew about them. All the staff at Burke were absolutely incredible to work with. They were professional yet personal, on top of everything, and so, so nice. Even our guests commented how nice everyone was. The food was absolutely delicious and another thing commented heavily by our guests (even still, 4 months later). Above and beyond: when my husband and I returned back to our room the night of our wedding, Burke staff had packed two to-go boxes with food from our wedding and put it in our refrigerator, they gave us two beautiful Burke glasses, had snapped a photo of us during the reception, had it printed, and framed in a beautiful Burke frame with a card, and brought our wedding cake & card box to the room. We were blown away. Plus, the venue is just gorgeous! If Burke is on your list, definitely highly consider them! If we had to do it all over again, we would go back there 100%

My husband and I just got married at Burke Oct 2024 and wow oh wow we cannot say enough good things. Getting married at Burke was the best choice we made and will be a weekend we remember forever.

We really did not want a cookie cutter wedding and worried a hotel and conference center might be just that. The views at Burke are absolutely spectacular though and it offered everything we wanted plus some sentimental value so we took a leap of faith and while the views & venue were amazing, it was really the people there that made our day so special.

Firstly, there were not a lot of venues that offered quite what Burke did. They only do one wedding per day, all our events were able to take place onsite and it had unique and beautiful spaces to add character to each of our events. Getting married halfway up the mountain, and our reception in the day lodge both had so much character and made it feel far from cookie cutter. We saw other venues that charged for every little thing, time by a fire pit, handing out welcome bags, a room for my mom who is a florist to arrange in. Not having to worry about every small expense gave us such piece of mind. We were able to utilize the view pub, hangout by the fireplace after our welcome party, play yard games on the patio.

What really make it so amazing though was every single member of the staff went above and beyond for us all weekend. Alicia & Susan were both so personable and made the entire planning process so easy on us. They allowed us to incorporate so many personal details. They coordinated everything with all our vendors (buses, DJ, photographer, helping with décor and flowers), and took all of that leg work entirely off our shoulders. I knew our schedule but honestly felt like how is all this stuff going to happen at one time in such a seamless fashion. Alicia made it happen though, she really drove the whole day and I felt 100% focused on our day and being present with friends and family. Tim the chef was actually headed out on vacation the morning of our wedding but bent over backwards to make sure donuts and food were prepped, and even came in at like 4 or 5am on his day off to make sure everything was set for us. Lou did all of the chair set up and breakdown – and made clean up so easy on us the next morning. Our bar and service team from the pub, morning of food deliveries, to the wedding were just outstanding all weekend long.

We couldn’t be more thankful to the entire Burke staff – and we cannot wait to come back to commemorate our wedding for years to come.

We got married at Burke Mountain on 9/21/24 and it was such a great experience! We don’t live locally so when we were in the process of picking out a venue, Alicia & Autumn met with us over zoom to show us the resort.

Throughout the process, Alicia was so easy to work with. She always told us what to expect timeline wise and what we needed to plan and provide versus what they would plan and provide. They had questionnaires to help finalize every last detail. Alicia was always responsive with my questions whether I needed measurements of something, pictures, or layout options. She was there every step of the way and helped with every little request I had. She coordinated a few outside vendors we needed as well such as different napkin colors, chairs, etc.

The weekend of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Alicia was there the whole time to help us set everything up and to ensure everything went smoothly. She even drove around for several hours in upstate VT on a Friday night to help us find some cheese cloth we were short. Talk about going above and beyond. All of the staff was great in helping us set everything up and clean everything up.

We had a couple guests that were GF and we requested the GF option at the reception, but Burke ensured that there were GF options with every meal all weekend. The guests loved having desserts they could eat! All of the food was absolutely delicious and guests are still raving about it. Shoutout to Tim, the best head chef ever!

The resort itself was such a great experience. The guests all loved the rooms and the views are absolutely breathtaking. They were great at accommodating all of our requests and truly making the weekend perfect. It’s been a few weeks and guests are still raving about how great the weekend was, despite how long the drive is for some. It was one for the books and a weekend that will never be forgotten!

We had a fantastic experience at Burke Mountain for our wedding. The venue’s views were stunning and created a beautiful backdrop for our day. Even the indoor lodge for our backup ceremony location was beautiful with the large windows and beautiful wood beams.
A huge part of what made our wedding so flawless was the incredible onsite coordinator, Alicia. Her dedication and attention to detail were truly exceptional. Alicia went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our day was executed seamlessly. Her warm and professional demeanor made planning a breeze, and she was always there to address our questions and concerns with a smile. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making our wedding day perfect. Her support and attention to detail were invaluable.
Our guests loved being able to stay onsite in the beautiful, well priced rooms. The food was fantastic, and all the catering & bar staff were friendly and helpful throughout the entire evening.
Overall, Burke Mountain and Alicia made our wedding day perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting or better service. Highly recommend!

We had a wedding a small local venue and had all our guests stay here. The hotel is great with modern amenities and large rooms. We also did our welcome reception and farewell brunch here and had great food - plenty of options. The view is amazing as well!

The Wedding Sales Manager is great to work with! She is easy to communicate with and makes you feel confident that all of the details will be taken care of. The rest of the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating as well. The venue is amazing! The facilities are modern and clean and the mountain views are gorgeous!

We chose Burke Mountain Hotel and Conference Center as our wedding venue for its breathtaking views and impressive facilities. Working with them to plan and coordinate was extremely easy, helpful, and they were quickly responsive with any questions, requests, or feedback. They made planning our wedding seamless. The entire team of staff was fantastic, from the coordinators, bar tenders, to the food and beverage director, everyone worked to make us happy and as a result we had a wonderful wedding and our guests raved about the views and hotel. They took exceptional care of us! We made a special weekend out of our wedding and Burke excelled in every piece of the weekend, it was also so nice having everything in one location. We had an excellent wedding, made many great memories, and can only speak positively of the entire wedding weekend! I would highly recommend Burke Mountain Hotel and Conference Center as your wedding venue!

I don’t know where to begin except choosing Burke Mountain was the best decision we made and was also the easiest decision to make after we saw the venue and met Mary.

As a very indecisive bride, Mary and Erin were extremely patient, always very responsive and organized! They went out of their way so many times throughout the planning process as well as our whole weekend with anything we needed. They paid attention to every detail and were on top of the whole day allowing me to enjoy it and not worry about a thing. They both make you feel so special and made sure our weekend was everything we dreamed of. Our families thought the world of them as the day was so easy because they had everything taken care of. Mary and Erin genuinely care about helping make your day the best ever, and never made me feel like just another bride. They also made themselves available by phone the week before the wedding Incase any last thing came up and continued to be extremely responsive to any of my questions or concerns.

When we went for our tasting, everyone was so nice, all of the food was so incredible it made it hard to choose! Their patience with us never went unnoticed.

Our guests loved the food, thought the rooms were beautiful and thought the venue was gorgeous! Everyone was blown away by the views, and everyone loved not having to leave the hotel. We got married in the day lodge and had cocktail hour outside which was gorgeous, and reception in the ballroom. The guests loved how everything was right there and they didn’t have to worry about catching a shuttle to leave the venue. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had and how great the whole weekend was.
We did our first look at the toll road outlook with just our family which worked out great! We got great pictures there without having to do the ceremony up there.

We can’t wait to go back to Burke and wish we could do it all over again! I promise you don’t be disappointed in any aspect if you chose Burke for your wedding !!

We absolutely loved having our special day at the Burke Mountain Hotel & Conference center. All our guests complimented how amazing the food and service was and how beautiful the venue was!

Burke Mountain Hotel was an amazing getaway for us and our families and friends to host our wedding. Our guests were really able to treat it as a mini vacation - many staying for the entire weekend. There are great amenities on site - so you never really need to leave! Mary and the rest of the staff at Burke were SO AMAZING. I cannot say enough. They filled in ALL the empty "boxes" I had forgotten to check - last minute details etc. Put out all linens I had rented etc. They were unbelievably accommodating, professional and just incredible! I cannot recommend this venue enough!!!!

The Burke Mountain Resort Hotel and Conference Center was an incredible place to get married. We got married at the pavillion site in October and it could not have been more perfect! The backdrop for the ceremony site was incredible. The shuttle service brought our many guests to and from the ceremony site very smoothly and efficiently. Our guests were very excited about the beautiful view and the pictures were awesome with such a beautiful backdrop. The new hotel is incredible, very thoughtful and intentional design which has a modern rustic sheek feel. Our guests loved staying in the luxurious hotel rooms and enjoyed all the amenities the hotel has to offer, outdoor heated pool and hot tub, outdoor fire pits, arcade, pub and of course the beautiful views. It was nice to have all of our guests staying together in such a nice place that is also affordable and has suite style accommodations. All aspects of this venue were amazing, but the best part by far was working with the wedding coordinator, Marissa Currier. She could not have been more pleasant and wonderful to work with. She made all of our visions come to life and truly helped us to have the wedding of our dreams. Any idea we had, she would find a way to make it happen. She was so great to work with throughout our planning process, very responsive and organized. She helped our wedding to feel very personalized to us and not so generic with lots of attention to detail. Also, the day of our wedding she was amazing! She didn't miss one single detail, she made us feel so relaxed on the day of our wedding because we knew we could trust her to make sure everything was going as planned. We could not have dreamed of a more perfect wedding ceremony/reception and are so happy we chose to have it at Burke!

We recently celebrated our wedding at Burke Mountain Resort, and it was nothing short of magical. Nestled in a stunning location with breathtaking views, Burke Mountain provided the perfect backdrop for our special day.

As avid mountain bikers, we wanted to incorporate our passion into our wedding weekend. We planned to go mountain biking the day before our wedding with our guests, but the resort's lift schedule changed and they were no longer planning to run the lifts for biking that day. Alicia worked with her team to ensure the lift was running for our guests, allowing us to enjoy an unforgettable day of riding with nearly 50 friends and family. It was truly one of the highlights of our wedding weekend.

While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of hiccups along the way. Midway through our planning process, there was some turnover, and we were assigned a new wedding coordinator. This transition required some adjustments, but the team at Burke Mountain handled it professionally. Additionally, we encountered a few errors in our quotes, but Burke was quick to correct them.

Burke Mountain Resort is an idyllic wedding venue with stunning views and a dedicated team. Despite a few minor challenges, the resort's flexibility and commitment to making our day special left us with cherished memories. My husband and I got married here on May 21st, 2022 and it was the greatest venue. We live in MA so all of our guests had to travel and everyone stayed in the hotel. We had guests arrive Friday and had an impromptu rehearsal dinner at the View Pub welcoming everyone who arrived. Everyone loved the rooms and the views are unbeatable! The wedding team is amazing and we’re constantly checking in to see if we needed anything and making sure everything ran smoothly. I didn’t have to worry about anything day of because the team was there working with the DJ and ushering guests from one room to the next for us. Burke was absolutely perfect for our big day and I would choose them over and over again!

Easy, all inclusive venue. Don't have to worry about renting tables, etc. Guests can stay on site. Extremely flexible with the wedding set up.

My husband and I chose Burke Mountain Hotel for several reasons. Most of our guest list was from out of town, so we needed a large enough venue where everyone could stay, and people had access to a variety of activities. We also had varying sizes of families coming, and loved the fact that the resort has different rooms that would fit the needs of large and small families. They even gave one of my guests a handicapped equipped room when she arrived in a wheelchair unexpectedly. The room rates were extremely affordable as well. We knew Burke was the right choice after we met Marissa. We were so impressed with her knowledge when we first toured the facility, and how quickly she gave us initial information and quotes. She also helped my mother, who lives in California, plan my bridal shower all via email and telephone. Marissa was always ready to answer questions and give clarifications, and she guided us through the entire process from the rehearsal dinner to the end of the reception with great attention to detail and flexibility based on our unique needs and tastes. The fact that we did not have to delegate tasks to our bridal party was amazing! She and her team took care of all set up, break down, and returning of any rented materials. My husband even mentioned that she and her assistant were toweling off the chairs before the reception because it had rained earlier in the afternoon--something I never would have thought of to do. Because of Marissa’s knowledge and experience, my husband and I got to live in the moment during our ceremony and reception instead of worrying about keeping everything on track. We cannot say enough good things about Marissa and how our whole wedding week turned out!

Working with the wedding and events coordinator, Marissa, has been great so far. At this point we have just booked the venue for ceremony and reception cites. Although we were trying to get some amendments to the package they offer that could not happen, it has been a pleasant experience working with Marissa. She is prompt in getting back to me and she is always very friendly and understanding.

They were great to work with and really let us make the day our own. It was a beautiful location.

We originally booked our wedding with Burke Mountain Hotel for May 2020. We postponed to May 2021, then again to May 2022, and for both postponements they were accommodating and helped us pick new dates. Unfortunately, we had to deal with the difficulties of working with four different coordinators over the years, though we understand the pandemic likely played a part in the turnover. Having so many staff changes did impact communication and we were frustrated to have to repeat our details and have misunderstandings; it seemed like they did not share notes well between the wedding staff. There were also some coordinators that were not very responsive and took several emails/phone calls to reach them.
Despite the communication issues in the planning stage, the day itself went very smoothly and the team was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived for setup the day before. We got many compliments from guests on the beautiful venue and the food and drinks. Overall, the staff managed to pull off a wonderful wedding for us! We just wish they were easier to work with throughout our years of planning.
