What immediately to mind when I think of Brooke is Calm, Organized, Great Communicator and Proactive. She also has a great sense of humor, her giggle is contagious - even laughed at FOB's dad jokes! Brookes team of vendors and her recommendations were top notch. She narrowed down the zillion choices, giving us 2 or 3 to choose from in each category.
It was very important to Brooke from the beginning that the bride and groom's own personal taste & style were represented. We worked with her for 18 long months (Covid engagement). Brooke anticipated potential problems and handled seamlessly anything that came up. Can do attitude- always!
We had zero experience planning a wedding and went with her full service planning package. Could not have been happier with that decision. Worth every dollar we spent!
On the weekend of the wedding Brooke was on site for 4 days, site walk thru with photographer, rental delivery all the way through clean up and move out, however, I must say the "day of" she was spectacular! Jumping between ceremony set up to reception tables, bridal party hair & makeup, making sure both my daughter and I had eaten, sipped and never wanted for anything! Even making sure groomsmen were ready on time (aka herding cats). Every detail in the time line was attended to and punctual. If I could give Brooke 10 stars I most definitely would! -

I can't say enough about Brooke! I'm the MOG and Brooke coordinated our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party. She is extremely professional and easy to work with. She's knowledgeable and knows the vendors in the area very well. She stays calm :) and is very responsive and organized. Our events exceeded our expectations! She's absolutely the BEST of the BEST!! 100% recommend her!

We had the pleasure of using Brooke’s full-service wedding planning for our wedding this summer at Villa Loriana in San Luis Obispo. Working with Brooke was nothing short of a dream scenario as a couple but especially one who is busy, not local, and on a budget. I (bride) work as an event planner, so my number one priority was ensuring I didn’t feel like I was working for my wedding and truly wanted to be hands off outside of decision making. My experience in events also meant that I had expectations on the service and quality of work our coordinator would be providing. Pair that with a husband who had no understanding of what went into wedding planning but saw $$$ and had expectations to stay on a budget, we had big shoes that this person was to fill. To say Brooke surpassed every expectation we had is an understatement.
Brooke started off with us when we had only booked our wedding venue and immediately jumped right in with identifying wedding vision, must haves, and ideas. Quickly, we were given full scale timelines, bride and groom checklists by weeks out, an easy to use management platform, and she had started outreach to vendors for availability based on what we asked for. The relief we felt upon hiring her was immediate and it felt like the weight of this day was lifted. As we got further into planning, she was on top of every aspect of designing, contracting, negotiation, and conversing with vendors. We received consistent email communication, and it seemed as though she was always working because we had responses to anything we sent within the hour no matter the time. My husband originally thought he was going to be able to plan the wedding himself (ha!). Soon into hiring Brooke, his tune changed to recommending to all our friends and family that they invest in a wedding planner when they get married - emphasizing just how much she truly does for us. To top this all off, we found out later SHE was getting married just a month before we were! Despite planning her own wedding and her other clients’ (though she only takes so many a year so make sure to get on it!), you wouldn’t have ever known she didn’t focus just on us. Witnessing her ability to juggle a million things at once, keep things on track, maintain consistent communication, and make sure everyone stays in the loop is watching a masterclass in wedding planning.
That feeling of ease and reassurance continued through our wedding weekend. It was almost funny how calm we felt throughout the wedding because of how much trust Brooke had garnered with us. There were no doubts in our minds that every aspect was cared for and that we were going to step into something more beautiful than we knew. The vision we had was executed beyond words and was exactly what we dreamed of. To quote Brooke that weekend - “I don’t get worried”. And she means it, she handles everything with a comforting sense of confidence, calm and reassurance. I’m so grateful to have had the chance to work with her, her incredible network of vendors, and to have someone who I can refer people to with full knowledge that she’ll take care of them like she did us.
Thankful doesn’t cover it, she is truly the best in the business. We are grateful to know her and to have had her with us to facilitate the best day of our lives. It was perfect and would not have been perfect without Brooke coordinating it. In summary, to quote the groom when asked what he wanted to say “Brooke KILLED it. No notes.” -

Wedding Planner
I don’t even know where to begin. Brooke made our wedding day better than we could have ever imagined. I’ve been an event planner for the last 10 years, so my expectations where high from the start. Brooke exceeded every single one of those from the first meeting. She is calm, knowledgeable, creative, and so easily brings every idea to life. She made sure we booked every vendor right away and that made the rest of planning fun and enjoyable! We gave her a budget from day 1 and she never went over. That’s really hard to do! The day of our wedding was just easy and calm. I never once had to worry about any set up, or timeline issues. It was all flawless thanks to Brooke and her team. Every single detail was perfect. She is professional and is so good at what she does. I would recommend her and her team to any couple getting married. -

Brooke's expertise throughout the entire planning process was nothing short of exceptional. From our very first phone call, she demonstrated strategic knowledge of the San Luis Obispo wedding industry - from the best vendors to consider and key questions/considerations to ask different venues, to how to navigate our budget, and even how to handle family and friend dynamics. She instantly made us feel comfortable, taken care of, and 'on track' during the wedding planning process, which we continued to feel with her by our side throughout our ~18 month engagement. Throughout the planning process, Brooke provided us with a curated list of her favorite vendors in each category, ensuring that we received the best value for our budget, and spent as much time as we needed to talk through the pros and cons of where to spend vs. splurge for each vendor based on our personal priorities. Brooke's process ultimately led us to hiring on a rock star team of vendors that we had complete confidence in, resulting in a seamless and worry-free wedding day. Moreover, Brooke's strategic guidance in how to prioritize different costs allowed us to have the dream wedding we always envisioned. For example, our remote winery venue presented a unique challenge in terms of transportation; however, Brooke coached us through how to strategize buses, and handled the entire process of renting buses, leading to a flawless experience for us and our guests on the wedding day.
In the days leading up to and on our wedding day, Brooke's organization and execution were truly unparalleled. She alleviated any stress that we might have experienced (although, by that point, she was already on top of making sure our checklist of to-do's were complete well in advance!). On the big day, she ensured that my new husband and I felt like the stars of the show and could spend time soaking in the experience with our friends and family. I know so much effort went into executing the day, but we truly got to enjoy the moment and were on such a cloud 9, that we hardly noticed Brooke and her team flawlessly executing everything from behind the scenes. Brooke's professionalism and dedication to making our wedding day perfect got stars across the board, with my dad still telling me "Brooke was incredible" even weeks after the wedding!
At the end of the day, wedding planning is stressful and at times, overwhelming, so picking a planner you trust and that you know has your best interests at heart is crucial. Having Brooke by our side throughout the entire process was, without a doubt, the best decision we made during our engagement (aside from saying "Yes!"). Brooke's exceptional skills, knowledge, and dedication to making our wedding day unforgettable were worth every penny spent. Hiring Brooke as our wedding planner not only ensured that our special day went off without a hitch, but it also allowed us to truly enjoy and cherish every moment of our once-in-a-lifetime celebration. We are beyond grateful that we chose Brooke as our wedding planner! -

Brooke Nicole and her team were the BEST decision we made for our wedding! Every detail was covered with precision! We planned for 10 months! We had an instant connection with Brooke and she made our planning process streamlined, simple and helped guide us through the planning with ease from three hours away! Brooke is personal, empathetic, ethical, honest and completely trustworthy for our special day! She made recommendations with all of the vendors and coordinated every detail of our event....the most beautiful wedding ever! We can't thank her and her team enough for EVERYTHING she and they did for us! Our only regret is not having her plan our rehearsal dinner.....have her do it, if will be worth it!
She was highly responsive and easy to reach/communicate with. We were so relieved to have her help plan and make decisions, took the stress out of the process for us as we completely trust her.
We give her a 5 star rating and would trust her with any event! Our day was PERFECT and everyone at the wedding commented on how well she and her team did.....seriously every detail! Book her....do not think twice! -

Wedding of our dreams
Over the last six months my husband and I have struggled to put into words just how grateful we are for Brooke and her team. My husband and I first came to Brooke with so many ideas & she encouraged every one. The venue we had decided on prior to working with Brooke was a private estate with no running water and/or power. We knew we needed a full time planner who was not only creative but a planner that knew how to build a venue from the ground up. Brooke was able to make all our many visions a reality.
Choosing to only have about 10 months to plan and execute a wedding, we did not doubt Brooke for a second. Brooke radiates a calmness that all brides can only dream they work with leading up to their big day. Her communication skills are unmatched, and not a day went by where we didn't feel she listened, understood and made us feel heard. Not only is Brooke an incredible designer and planner but she is an amazing person inside and out. My husband and our families feel so grateful to have gotten to know Brooke. She is humble, kind, a perfectionist at her craft and all around great person. Brooke poured her heart into our wedding day.
Any and all who attended/heard about our wedding know we cannot rave enough about Brooke Nicole Events. Brooke knows all the right caterers and coordinators. Without her recommendations and options for vendors we do not feel our wedding would have ran as smooth and lived up to our expectations. Every single vendor we worked with was so kind and generous. We truly feel we hit the jackpot with each vendor we used.
Your wedding is a once in a life time experience. But, if we had the chance to do it all over again, we would choose Brooke Nicole Events to help design and plan our wedding every single time. -

Where do we begin?
Brooke and her team are who you want to be with you for your big day. From the moment we met Brooke, we knew that she was talented, personable, and knew a thing or two about planning a wedding. Brooke gave us a timeline and a cost breakdown online which allowed us to plan for our big day effectively. She met with us to get an insight into our thoughts and then gave us choices and proposals that were easy to choose from. Any questions we had were immediately answered and if an idea was important to us, Brooke found a way to make it happen! When unforeseen circumstances happened the week of the wedding, Brooke rolled with it and adapted to the situation with ease. Brooke was incredible from start to finish! We had our wedding at a private estate and started planning around 9 months before the day. This meant a TON of details in a short timeframe - everything from lights and furniture to dealing with limited parking. Brooke thought of and handled EVERY detail leading up to the day and made planning incredibly stress free, especially since we’re not living in the area. We weren’t sure what we wanted for a lot of design choices but Brooke was incredible about crafting a vision for our wedding and guiding us through decisions as we went. Every vendor we talked to during the planning process told us how much they loved working with Brooke and it was great to work with a planner so respected and loved in the SLO area! Come the day, we can’t get over how perfect it was and many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Every detail was incredibly beautiful and the evening flowed perfectly. The few things that didn’t go according to plan (extra guest showing up, guests not showing up, etc), Brooke was on top of so quickly that we barely noticed. We were truly able to relax and enjoy the night. Brooke thought of everything to make the day a true celebration for us - from greeting us with drinks between the ceremony and photos to packing up our food to take with us at the end of the night. I can’t recommend Brooke enough!! -

The best of the best
Where do I even begin?! Brooke is truly the best of the best when it comes to all things wedding planning. She’s creative, detailed, organized, honest, professional, responsive… I could go on and on. I’m so thankful I got to work with Brooke for 14+ months on our September 2024 rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and wedding.
From our very first conversation, I knew that we had to hire Brooke. She understood my vision and gave me the confidence that our wedding weekend would be executed seamlessly. Brooke has a calming energy that really allows you to enjoy every step of the wedding planning process. If I felt any stress whatsoever, talking to Brooke would immediately put me at ease. She works extremely well under pressure and just knows how to make it happen. She’s also very well connected in the San Luis Obispo area and proposed a top-notch vendor team for our big day.
Thank you, Brooke, for making our dream wedding a reality! We have already received countless compliments from our friends and family about our wedding being one of the best they have ever been to. We wish we could relive our wedding day all over again. -

WOW. What can we say? Working with Brooke from start to finish was an absolute pleasure. After cancelling our wedding in Spain in 2020, we decided that hiring a planner in California would make our new planning process easier and less stressful, and we truly would not have had a wedding as amazing as ours without her.
At the beginning, Brooke sent us a sweet congratulations package, which made us feel celebrated and excited to re-plan our wedding. She was so professional and helpful from the original design consultation until long after the wedding day. She listened to our very specific vision of a “Spanish style garden party” and pulled it off magnificently. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and it truly was such a beautiful celebration! There were so many details we wanted to incorporate and she made sure each one was included.
When you hire Brooke, you also hire her team to help out before, during, and after the event. When my friend made a mistake picking up our dessert, Brooke sent her assistant to get it for us. When we ordered an “after the tone” audio guestbook, we were able to send it to Brooke and she even mailed it back for us the next day. Brooke was the one to correspond with all the vendors and booked my hair and makeup trial for me. Since our baker didn’t offer an official cake tasting, Brooke picked up cupcakes for us to try at home. It’s small acts like this that really allow Brooke’s couples to focus on celebrating, opposed to worrying about small details and running errands.
Throughout the planning process, Brooke was extremely responsive over text, via email, and over aisleplanner. I never had to wait long for a response from her, which we really appreciated. For each vendor, she offered multiple options and helped us make the best selections for our day. One thing that I will always appreciate about her service was she balanced giving her opinions and suggestions, while leaving room for us to make the final decision. Sometimes I had a hard time choosing certain details since I had never had a wedding before, and Brooke was always there to offer advice based on her wealth of experience. So, in those moments, she took the mental burden of decision making, allowing us to simply enjoy the process and our day.
Another quality I love about Brooke is her patience. I was so indecisive about many things and even after I went back and forth on certain decisions, she never made me feel bad about it and simply changed the plans. When our original photographer got pregnant and had to cancel, Brooke found more options for us 5 months out. When COVID was spiking and I decided to postpone from 2021 to 2022, she was so understanding and encouraging and just wanted us to be happy. She truly wants her couples to enjoy and relax, and she will do anything to make that happen.
On the day of the wedding, a few vendors had some last minute issues, and Brooke handled thesm gracefully for us, without ever letting us know on the day of, so we could enjoy our day to the fullest.
After cancelling our wedding in Spain and postponing our celebration several times, Brooke helped us have a celebration that gave us memories to last a lifetime. She absolutely goes above and beyond for her clients and if you hire her, you are guaranteed an incredible and flawless event.
Thank you, Brooke for all your hard work and helping us to finally have a celebration that reflected the love we have for each other. We love you and can’t thank you enough for all you did and continue to do! -

I have been in the events industry for over 14 years, so when it was my turn to FINALLY get married choosing a planner was the most important decision for me and also for the planner. Truth be told, a planner hiring a planner as a client is sometimes not the most fun so I knew I would need to find the perfect person. Alicia Cocks from the White Barn immediately recommended I call Brooke after she met me and knew what I was looking for and she was spot on. From our first call Brooke and I got along. We understood each other and had a no frills approach to our work. I could tell her operations mind was similar to mine and we would get along great. I have done corporate events, NOT weddings and let me tell you, weddings have a whole lot of little tiny details and things that corporate events do not. but Brooke made it EASY!! From the second I officially hired her I felt a weight lifted. She presented options to me in a very straight forward and clear manner, trying to save me money along the way (which is always a plus). She made great suggestions based off my initial design and ideas. She never challenged what I wished for but only enhanced my vision. She was quick to reply and always accessible.
I was fairly flexible in most choices, however, I had my mind set on my dining chairs. This was my one non negotiable item and Brooke worked so hard to find them and make my chair dreams come true!
The weekend of our wedding was flawless. Again, I was nervous about getting myself caught up in "work mode" and trying to run the timelines, etc. However due to Brooke's professionalism, she made me so confident that I never thought about the timeline or suppliers, once!! I truly put her in charge and followed her lead and it was flawless.
I am so thankful to Brooke and her onsite team for making our wedding dreams come true! I could not recommend her more to be your wedding planner. -

The truth is, we accidentally found Brooke. With that said, it was the best cold call I've ever made, and I worked in Public Relations for many years.
Brooke is the highest quality wedding planner you can find. Her attention to detail, her patience, her calm demeanor was exactly what we needed to have the best wedding experience we could imagine! Brooke was not only well connected within the area, but she was honest and clearly communicated everything needed throughout the entire process.
I was given advice early on when looking for a wedding planner: Many wedding planners try to be your "best friend," but you don't need a best friend, you need someone organized and to keep you in line. The truth is we found both in Brooke (unexpectedly.) While Brooke was extremely professional throughout the process, she made my fiancee and I feel so comfortable that we could joke with her as if we had known her our entires lives.
Brooke was completely transparent throughout the entire process. If there were times we were concerned about spending too much, or not enough, Brooke brought her expertise and suggested realistic goals. She never once pushed for us to over spend, but clearly communicated certain qualities that would change if we reduced the budget - quality. We knew exactly what we were walking into the weekend of our wedding. Or so we thought. Brooke was able to arrange with several vendors (through her relationships) certain qualities that were at an even higher caliber than our expectation - which is a lot to say. These were truly special surprises throughout the weekend.
Many couples probably hear this, but a large percentage of our attendees came up to us throughout the weekend, and after, to note that it was one of the "best weddings" they had ever been to.... this is simply because of Brooke's efforts and contributions. She thought of things throughout the weekend that we could have never imagined, and even went out of her way to spend her own money to make sure we were secure and didn't run out of things (ie: ice, buckets, etc.) Point being, she went ABOVE and BEYOND.
You can simply find many wedding planners, but you will certainly not find anyone better than Brooke.

Brooke is amazing!
Hosting a wedding for 200 at a private estate is a huge undertaking and we could not have done it without Brooke. She was recommended to us by our photographer who has worked with numerous wedding planners and said Brooke Nicole Events was her first choice every time to work with! Now I know why! Brooke is calm, organized, effective, efficient, did I say calm?…and an absolute delight! She guided me and my daughter (the bride) through all of the planning, the design of the venue, the choice of vendors…which were all amazing and LOVE working with Brooke…fabulous food, flowers, music, linens, lounge areas, lighting and it goes on and on. It was a magical wonderful night and I am still getting compliments from guests who’s remarks range from luxurious to elegant to fabulous to the best wedding ever. My family and especially the bride and groom agree…she brought our vision to life and more importantly she helped us create our vision to begin with! Brooke WAS our planner…she is NOW our friend and if my daughter’s new father-in-law (whose home the wedding was at) decides to rent it out for a few weddings a year, he will require that Brooke be the planner. Brooke was amazing!
We had a few hiccups in our wedding planning; the venue had some changeover with their event staff and when we got our (2nd) "Wedding Planner" we were VERY concerned. Luckily, there was one more changeover and we got Brooke! She tied up all the loose ends - of which there were many as the event coordinator prior to Brooke really dropped the ball. She made it super easy for us to relax and enjoy the planning process, the rehearsal and our wedding day! Special shoutout for her helping the guys with their boutonnières, laying out all of our tables EXACTLY how we wanted them, knowing that I (the bride) would be a complete wreck waiting at the venue and allowing me extra time to chill in the bridal suite before heading to the venue, and being super great in helping close it out and wrap everything up - literally just handing carefully packed boxes and bags to our parents the day after the wedding. Literally cannot say enough positive things about Brooke, and am so thankful that this complete godsend helped us out after a really rough start to our wedding planning process! -

I knew our nuptials would be special, but Brooke and her team created a real life fairytale for our wedding day. So we did our first call with Brooke and she definitely stood out from the other wedding planners we had spoken too. She was ready with a list of questions for us. Brooke was the best!
Where do I even start with Brooke!? I truly don’t know how we would have been able to throw our wedding without her. We had no idea where to even start with our wedding, and Brooke immediately put us at ease on our first call with her.
She is so talented, professional and fun to work with. We told her our vision and she made everything come true and more. The whole wedding planning process can be extremely difficult, but Brooke made it fun and took so much weight off our shoulders. We had a barn that we truly needed to transform, and even build out a whole kitchen, and it was no problem for Brooke. My mom and I had an extremely detailed vision in mind, and she absolutely nailed it.
Our wedding was everything we hoped for and more thanks for Brooke. Nothing went wrong on the day of and she had everything down to a T. I cannot thank Brooke enough for making our dreams come true and making it the best wedding of our lives (and everyone who attended cannot stop talking about it). Brooke was an incredible resource from the day we began working together. She was very detail oriented every step of the way as she brought our vision to life. She always guided us based on her expertise but empowered us to make our own decisions. During weddings, there are always things bound to go wrong. She shielded us and our family members from everything to ensure we were fully focused on having an incredible day. When the father of the bride asked how he could help, her answer was to just go enjoy himself. This is a product of her incredible planning skills and execution. BEST wedding decision I ever made!
I truly had the BEST night of my life at my wedding and I attribute it all to Brooke! My fiancé and I got married in his family’s backyard (a venue that had never been used for a wedding) and it could not have gone smoother. I didn’t plan on hiring a wedding planner initially and let me tell you Brooke was worth every penny. You don’t truly realize how many questions/concerns/decisions come up when planning a wedding until you do it. People always asked me how do I look so calm when my wedding is X, Y, Z months away and I’m serious when I say I was never stressed with Brooke as my planner because she was always there to answer my fiancés, my mom’s, and my questions. Her guiding us through every step also meant that us three were never arguing - which is so so common for families stressed about planning a wedding together.
Every single detail and request that I had was 10x better than the idea I had in my head! I had no idea what I was doing, and I always told Brooke that she knows what I like better than I do because I loved everything that she chose for me when I couldn’t choose. Her expertise and professionalism was exactly what I needed (and I think every bride needs).
The best part of hiring Brooke is the day of the wedding. That day I was *relaxed* because I knew Brooke had it completely handled. I was able to sit back and enjoy the day with my bridesmaids and my mom. Trust me you will not want your mom running around trying to fix last minute things for you, you will want her right next to you.

As Mother of the Bride, I wanted my daughter to have the wedding of her dreams. She had a vision of what she wanted. When she suggested hiring Brooke as a wedding planner, I looked through pictures and reviews from Brooke’s prior weddings and reviews. I felt that Brooke would be able to deliver on her wedding vision. She provided my daughter and her (now) husband with a wedding beyond their dreams. She seamlessly managed the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, welcome party, wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
Early on, Brooke had my daughter and her fiancée complete a questionnaire to understand their expectations and priorities. She then provided us with a timeline and lists of potential vendors to hire for every part of the wedding weekend. When we had to make decisions, Brooke provided us with guidance as well as set up meetings with vendors. Throughout the process, she kept us informed and moving forward. She took my daughters vision and transformed the venue into her dream wedding – the flowers, the signage, chairs, table décor, place settings, linens, etc. This was no easy task given that she had to work with 5 separate locations on the venue property!
My daughter and her fiancée felt supported throughout the wedding planning process. She responded promptly to any questions we had (even during her own wedding weekend!). She was professional, organized and responsible as well as great to partner with. She kept us calm and oversaw everything throughout the wedding weekend. We were all able to enjoy the weekend thanks to Brooke! We received so many compliments after the wedding weekend from our friends and family!

Not only did she plan my wedding, but she also planned a surprise proposal and bachelorette all in one day! It's hard to write a proper "review" for Brooke and Brooke Nicole Events because we can't possibly capture all the value and support we received from the moment we first spoke with Brooke on the phone to months past our wedding. The most important attribute that sets Brooke apart is her deep, personal dedication to her clients. This was apparent from our initial interest call with Brooke, when we immediately clicked with her and realized we had so much in common -- the good (both Bay Area natives!) and the bad -- navigating serious illnesses within our family and that creating a very unique situation for wedding planning. Sadly, it was only about a month after hiring Brooke that I panic texted her asking if she could send someone to our house to marry us, as my Mom had entered hospice and did not have much longer to live. In the most meaningful and generous service I have ever experienced, Brooke put together a whole wedding for us and my parents in 72 hours -- including a dress, flowers, an officiant, photography, live video stream for our friends and family, and food. It was so above and beyond what I was thinking of in that moment, and I am so glad Brooke was thinking of all of these details when I could not. Together, they amounted to what my Mom called the most beautiful and perfect wedding she had ever seen -- and she was right. There are no words to describe what that experience meant to all of us in my Mom's final days. Thank you forever, Brooke, for creating that priceless experience and memory for us.
Well, a few months after loss and grieving, we came back to Brooke as we knew we had to honor my Mom's wishes to still have our wedding with friends & family that we had envisioned. In settings big or small, Brooke is the ultimate pro. I had no idea the level of detail, activity, and resource that went into planning a picture-perfect wedding that gave guests a truly wonderful experience and reflected all the nuances and personalization of our preferences. Fortunately, Brooke knows everything! It was definitely a labor of love to plan and pull off this bigger wedding, but Brooke provided expert guidance and reassurance every step of the way. Brooke has exceptionally strong relationships with many local vendors, which also helped deliver a smooth and special experience for us and our guests. Brooke also always somehow knew what we needed before we did! From steering us to the right venue for us to ensuring we had the most delicious food that any of our guests had ever had at a wedding -- there is no way we would have had this once-in-a-lifetime experience without Brooke.
There are so many more specific moments I could share that further show Brooke's care, sensibility, and magic touch, but I will leave future clients to discover those for themselves! Just know that Brooke is so much more than a wedding planner, and you should absolutely hire her to deliver the most special and memorable experiences of your life.

Where do I even begin with Brooke... we really didn't know what we wanted from a planner, other than a good "bang for our buck," good reviews and someone who knew the SLO area well. From the get go, Brooke's demeanor was so relaxed and confident that it almost seemed too good to be true, especially since she's a bit younger in the wedding planning realm. But she blew us away.
When I say that Brooke nailed it on every single aspect of planning our wedding... I do not say that lightly. She made us feel like the only clients she had, although that's far from the truth. She was responsive, attentive, detail oriented, on the ball and supportive. She knew exactly how to execute my vision and which vendors to work with -- leveraging her close relationships with them to score us the best value from each. There are a lot of personalities and accommodations needed from my family, and she managed to calmly find solutions to every scenario.
Our wedding day was the most magical of our lives. I was extremely specific in what I wanted, and without her I would not have been able to bring it to life. Where do I begin? We fell in love with Brooke after we met her 2 years ago while prospecting venues for our wedding. I kept dropping hints that we would LOVE her as our planner and felt so lucky when she squeezed us into her very busy schedule that year. Little did she know that agreeing to be our planner for an October 2020 wedding would turn into an almost 2 year adventure. Brooke was our rock during the initial Covid panic - updating us constantly on restrictions and even guiding us to the difficult decision to postpone to ensure we could have the wedding of our dreams when the time was right. Then, when our original venue sold and weren't booking any future weddings, Brooke guided us to THE best venue - even better than our original! We locked in our new date and moved forward with our October 2021 wedding. Trust me when I say she has the patience of a saint. I am one of the most indecisive people on the planet, and she never got frustrated with me but she understood how best to assist me, no matter how big or small the decision. She vetted vendors for us, she handled communications I didn't want to, she added those special small details to our day that I would have thought weren't necessary, but truly made all the difference. She is always right, I tell you! She also was able to pivot with us as we discovered we were pregnant prior to our wedding and included the MOST AMAZING gender reveal to our reception. I still get emotional when I think of our wedding, and it is even more special now that we are about to welcome our little boy. Even on the day of, when I was running very late for pictures (my usual) she never once made me feel rushed or stressed. She handled every detail the weekend of our wedding, big and small. She allowed us to fully enjoy the whole experience. When faced with the task of throwing a wedding, it is completely overwhelming. Where to begin? How much will it cost? How do we get our vision for the big day to happen?
Brooke was the best first step we took. She put a plan together, always considered our budget, and guided us from beginning to end.
As Mother of the Bride, she made a stressful time for my daughter and I into an enjoyable experience! Her expertise, listening and understanding of ideas was wonderful. Brooke was always available for questions and had a solutions for all concerns. She is genuinely a calm and friendly person that LOVES planning your wedding and bringing it to life!
Along with being an awesome person to work with, her design skills are extraordinary. She literally took an empty barn and made it into our wedding dream. Brooke has a complete network of vendors that are professional, budget conscious, and deliver it on wedding day!
We couldn't have been happier with our decision in hiring Brooke Nicole Events. Thanks to Brooke, our wedding was beyond our expectations... beautiful, stress free, and fun!

Edna Valley Dream Wedding
As my husband and I write this, we find ourselves filled with an immense gratitude for Brooke and Brooke Nicole Events. Our wedding journey with Brooke was an enchanting voyage leading us to an unforgettable weekend with our closest loved ones in our idyllic home town of San Luis Obispo.
From the first time we met Brooke, we felt an immediate connection. She listened to us, and it was as if she had stepped into our dreams, completely understanding our vision, emotions, and love we share. She gracefully took on the stressful endeavor of wedding planning, making it feel more like a delightful journey rather than an overwhelming task.
Brooke's thoughtful dedication to planning was apparent from the get-go. She not only devoted so much of her creative time and energy, but also anticipated needs we didn't even know we had. Her eye for detail and intuitive understanding of us as a couple made us feel genuinely cared for.

Brooke was so helpful. She was referred to us word of mouth, and started helping us plan our microwedding about two months before the date. We'd chosen an Air BnB where not many weddings had been thrown so needed to bring in all vendors that were not familiar with the site. She scoped things out, helped us pick out the best vendors, and then executed flawlessly on our big day. She did small things like going out to get a hanger for my dress when I realized I did not have one, to calmly calling vendors to work through issues when I had concerns that had stressed me out two days before the wedding with new information. Would definitely recommend her to family and friends! -

Brooke is AMAZING!!!
Brooke was great to work with and was always on top of every detail. The planning process was smooth and the day of was pretty perfect. I would recommend Brooke to anyone and everyone! She is truly amazing at what she does and is always professional. I really enjoyed planning the wedding with her and the end result would never have turned out so great without her hard work and dedication. I am a very organized, Type A person, so I was hesitant to let anyone take control of all of the little details. Brooke, however is a DREAM and made me feel like I could let go and just enjoy the wedding planning process and the day of. She is super responsive, super on top of everything, and goes way above and beyond to make your day perfect. I would recommend her and her team to everyone!
