We don't know each other but I assure you, dear reader, that you will not regret hiring Brittany as your photographer! She is amazing! I could gush forever but for your peace of mind, let me provide some concrete specifics:
Before the wedding --
*Communication: Responses were quick, kind, and thorough! Brittany offered her expertise when I asked (roughly 9238374398) questions but was always very clear that it was ultimately our wedding and she would do what we asked of her.
*Prices: I got a ton of quotes from very talented photographers and Brittany was well within the normal range of cost - wedding photography is an investment and I strongly encourage anyone to budget well for this, it is worth it with Brittany! Seeing all the photos was like being right back in the middle of the day.
*General presence: We got married about 5 hours from home so we didn't get a chance to meet Brittany face to face until the night before the wedding. She was so friendly and easy to chat with while also not being a domineering or overpowering presence. I am generally a very anxious person and Brittany put me totally at ease with everything related to photography. She was confident in her skills (rightfully so) and I immediately trusted her to make the right calls to get the best photos. In fact, I turned it all over to her - aside from a few small requests (like keeping my daughter in as many photos as possible) I deferred to her on decisions, locations, poses, timing, all of it. And I have absolutely no regrets.
The wedding --
I just tried to remember seeing Brittany at the wedding other than during the very specific posed photos (i.e. getting ready, the wedding party together, our first look, a few family groups) and I honestly can't remember. She was thorough but discreet. I know she was there, I have the pictures of so many people and times throughout the whole event, but she never felt intrusive or disruptive to the flow of the day.
The photos --
Brittany got us a *very* generous sneak peek within a few days of the wedding (seriously, like less than a week after) and I cried and cried at how gorgeous they were. Everything we wanted and more. I actually kept a tab open on my computer permanently and looked through at least a few every day because I loved them so much. We got our full gallery yesterday, also in a very reasonable amount of time, and we are floored. I've looked through the whole gallery at least 3 times and every time I find another that stands out. They are INCREDIBLE. Brittany has a gorgeous portfolio on her website and she stayed so true to that in our photos (which is obviously what you want!). My husband had to tell me that wallpapering our whole house in our wedding photos was not a realistic goal... but I can't wait to get so many of them printed. It truly felt like we were transported back to the day and able to relive it. It went by way too fast the first time so I am forever grateful to have so many genuine moments captured.
Alllllllll of that to say, hire Brittany! If you're still not convinced, check out her website and her Instagram :) while I'm not planning on another wedding, I'd love to hire Brittany again if we end up back on the Central Coast in need of family photos.

Brittany is an UNBELIEVABLY talented photographer. It was an incredible gift to be able to relax on my wedding day and fully trust that Brittany would capture everything. Our venue was at a private residence rather than a traditional wedding venue so, naturally, Brittany had never been there before yet, in an instant, she scoped out all the best spots to shoot, both indoors and outdoors, and she single-handedly captured the entire day after our second shooter called out sick. Our photos are STUNNING. She is a true artist. Had I been offered the choice of any photographer in the world, I still would've chosen Brittany. I think it might be impossible for anyone to not love her work. As a bonus, she is an absolute gem of a human being and someone you just want to be around. Thank you, Brittany, it was an honor to have you capture our wedding. -

Brittany was such a wonderful presence and a true professional. At one moment, when I was feeling particularly rushed, she was able to take me aside for a photo session and remind me that we had plenty of time for that moment. She was right, and by saying that, it reminded me to relax and enjoy that moment. My oldest teen son appreciated her guidance on how to look natural in photos. It was a beautiful and happy day, and Brittany was able to capture all of the best moments. Thanks to her, we'll be able to look back at our day through her lens and relive the joy forever. -

We hired Brittany for our wedding and are so very glad we did! We booked a package that also included an engagement shoot which was fantastic too. Brittany was super easy going and made us feel totally comfortable, which was great since this was our first time taking real pictures. At the wedding itself Brittany was everywhere, she captured every big moment from all angles, even made sure to get shots of our dog 😉 Our engagement shoot was at the beach and wedding was at a winery, and Brittany captured the natural beauty of each space perfectly. While being easy-going we also really appreciated how she kept it moving and made sure we didn’t fall behind our schedule while hitting all the picture combinations we wanted. We are so beyond happy with how all the pictures turned out, thank you Brittany for capturing our big day! We’ll cherish these photos forever 😊 -

The WHOLE package
I cannot recommend Brittany enough. She’s my now go to photographer. I can’t imagine anyone else capturing our important moments. She was the calm in our chaos on our wedding day, she caught every moment I didn’t know I needed along with specific moments I asked for. Her photos are beautiful, light, and allow me to relive our day over and over again. She is so responsive I never had to question what the plan was and what the vision was. She helped us pose and had just the most perfect eye for our photos. I would hire her every time. She will now be my go to for family photos, and any other photos that are needed for years to come! 11/10...amazing experience before, during, after. Couldn't be happier with our photos.
We hired Brittany Taylor Photography months before our wedding and began the conversation with Brittany herself who was so kind and communicative from day 1. She heard out our vision, answered all of our questions, and made us feel so comfortable. From the start we knew she was not available for our wedding day but we had full confidence that whoever the photographer we got assigned with would be the perfect extension of Brittany.
We were SO lucky to work with Claire who kicked us off with an amazing engagement shoot. She put in so much thought and effort into scouting a location and shooting with her felt like doing a fun art project with an old friend. We were so happy with our engagement photos, they turned out so beautifully and were delivered professionally and right on time.
The week of our wedding there was a wildfire a few miles from the venue and it was somewhat touch and go. Brittany was hugely empathetic to our situation and was so kind during the stress of it all. Luckily the wedding went as planned. Claire did an amazing job of directing our crazy family, was efficient and captured all the group shots we wanted. She truly added so much value to our special day as a person and as a talented photographer.
The photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Claire had a great eye for leveraging the scenery of our venue and finding the most magical shots. Major kudos to Claire and Brittany for making us feel beautiful and for capturing the essence of our day. Love how it's packaged nicely in an online gallery as well.

Incredible Photography
Brittany is an incredibly talented photographer. From engagement pictures, to groom's gift, to wedding day, she captured every moment beautifully. The way she works lighting, capturing the small moments in between and really getting to know the couple is unmatched. On the actual wedding day, she had an amazing calm energy and was organized and we love all of our photos so much. She captured our wedding year & she's now our photographer for all big life events moving forward! -

Gorgeous Photos Unreal Service
My new fiancé hired Brittany to shoot our engagement in Santa Ynez, which was a surprise to me! From the moment after we got engaged Brittany was so easy to work with and brought us around the Villa to take photos in various spots angles etc. I was so amazed that she got us the photos just a couple hours after shooting. We got to send out the most incredibly dreamy engagement photos to our family and friends to announce our engagement while we were still finishing our wine tasting. She’s amazing!! -

Hiring Brittany was simply the easiest decision that we made for our special day! The photographs were incredible. Her attention to detail was spot on. And she was incredibly affordable especially given how pricey New York wedding photographers are. But what set her apart, was how caring she clearly is. She made sure that we were getting top quality photos that we will always have to remember our wedding day, while also ensuring that we did not feel pulled away from our guests at any point. She produced the most beautiful of work, while still reminding us to be present. And finally, she was accessible to us and responded in the most timely of fashions. Months after receiving our photos from her, we unfortunately misplaced the master file. We reached out to her and within minutes she had a solution. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts as having made our day even that more remarkable and memorable. Simply the best
Brittany made all my wedding photography wishes come true. She made to capture all of the moments that were important to me and she did it in such a personalized and warm way with a raw touch. I look at my photographs weekly and am always blown away by the amazing job she did. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to relive the best day of my life.
Also, if you’re not comfortable with being photographed (like me and my husband) she makes it so easy and fun, everything feels organic.
I can’t thank her enough and I have no doubt you will not be disappointed in her work. She’s responsive, personable, enjoyable, and we were able to receive a good amount of photos less than 24 hours after the wedding! -

Simply the BEST
If you are thinking about it - just book Brittany. From our first emails to the big day, Brittany was professional, kind, and so easy to work with. The day of the wedding she arrived early and stayed all day capturing both the big and small moments. Her motherly instincts came out several times that day and made me feel like someone we knew and loved was there for us all day. She was the only vendor to really check in and ask me how I was doing and that was so appreciated.
The final product speaks for itself. We were blown away by all the beautiful photos we will cherish for a lifetime. Her years of photography experience really shine through and I can’t imagine working with anyone else for our wedding! -

Since I was a young girl, I’ve always dreamed of having beautiful wedding photos. Brittany delivered the photos of my dreams. Not only is she incredibly talented, shes also fun to work with! Brittany is also a mother of six- and it shows when shes working. She got so many priceless shots of my daughter.
I have to say because of my disorganization (I bought my dress 13 days before my wedding), I just assumed that Brittany would “make the best” with what she had to work with. I couldnt have been more wrong. Brittany’s photography is pure gold. I’m 37 and I look like a flawless bride! My sister-in-law used Brittany for her wedding, and shes not easy to please. I know if she makes a recommendation, it is made after diligent research.
Could not have had a better experience. We even booked Brittany for another shoot just for fun! Cant wait to work with her again. I highly recommend her, so much that i reached out to my friends who are planning weddings to share her greatness. Thank you Brittany! -

Brittany was the perfect wedding photographer. Kind, professional, and swift like a ninja -- I can't believe how many shots she acquired during the ceremony from so many different angles.
Brittany was accommodating to our needs and had no problem penciling in some extra time for us when we realized that we wanted more photos!
As for the quality of the photos themselves, we couldn't be happier. Brittany's got a strong eye for lighting, framing, and composition, and she did a great job of capturing the beauty of the venues in addition to the moods and feelings on display. We worked with Brittany for our wedding that was postponed from Oct 2020 to June 2021. She was so incredibly flexible with our engagement photos and even came to us in the middle of a pandemic to make sure that we had our photos taken in a timely manner. She worked with us throughout our postponement and on the day of our wedding she was super helpful, fun and professional. Brittany was one of my favorite vendors because she became a friend to us. Brittany is so talented! I love the way she always finds the light and finds a way to make every picture so soft and glowy!
Beyond that, her customer service is the best. She was so flexible with our three changes of dates, and was so sweet and helpful the day of our wedding.
We got our photos back fully edited so quickly too! I continue to use her for branding content for my calligraphy business because I’m so in love with her work. I cannot recommend her enough. -

Covid bride
My husband and I had to go to plan B due to COVID, and we booked Brittany without ever meeting her in person. She was so responsive and made us feel so comfortable over the phone. We eloped with just our immediate family and she gave us the most beautiful photos. I would 100% use her again! -

Amazing Photographer!
Brittany was an amazing wedding photographer. She was extremely responsive, flexible, understanding, and made the planning process the easiest part of wedding planning. She was early so she could set up and scout cool places at the venue, was very professional the whole time and was kind and relatable with everyone. What was MOST important, was that the pictures turned out absolutely GORGEOUS. My husband and I are obviously not models but we wanted the traditional romantic shots, and Brittany knew where to take us, let us know the poses that would look good, and we never felt awkward or unnatural. She totally could handle taking all the family pictures and kept us to our timeline. There was a perfect mix of the posed pictures and some real, raw moments that I didn't even know I would treasure forever. We got the pictures back VERY quickly, and they were everything I wanted. Light, airy, beautiful, and full of love. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. We will be hanging our wedding photos in our home, and they will be so important to us for the rest of our lives so finding the right photographer is a must, and you won't go wrong with Brittany! -

Six months later and I’m finally getting it together to write the wonderful review that our amazing photographer deserves! (Sorry this took so long!) Brittany Taylor did such a wonderful job on our wedding & engagement photos, we absolutely loved her! After spending countless hours on Instagram trying to find a venue I loved, I continued to find certain photos that I really liked, I realize that they came from Brittany Taylor! These were all different venues in all different brides, I immediately loved her style! After booking our venue, I was thrilled to realize that she was on their preferred vendor list! I called her right away to check on her availability, I also wanted to discuss some of my concerns for the day of the wedding. I come from a big family full of bossy, loud, opinionated woman. I was worried that we might have trouble getting the photos I wanted with so many opinions. Brittany was able to assure me that this would not be a problem for her, with six children at home and a business of her own to run, she knew how to keep things orderly! Sounded like a perfect fit for us, we booked her right away. We were able to do an engagement shoot prior to our wedding date to get to know her better & also for us to experience what professional photography would look like for us. My husband (fiancé at the time) & I were both nervous for these photos, we don’t know how to pose & certainly don’t know how to stare longingly into each other’s eyes (for minutes at a time) without bursting out in laughter. Brittany was able to take our personalities & make everything feel natural! We feel that we have the most perfect wedding photos, she truly captured all of the love & excitement we had that very special day! Brittany is so talented and I have loved every single photo I’ve received from her, don’t waste any time... BOOK HER RIGHT AWAY! -

Best.Photographer.EVER!
Brittany was not only my phenomenal wedding photographer but my saving grace for my wedding! When my venue burned down two nights before the big day, I had no place to go and Brittany was one of the first to call me that next morning! She was already on it trying to find me a new venue and did just that! (Thanks to dovecote winery!). On top of that she helped me find vendors I still needed that were in her amazing Solvang family. Beyond that, she took on our wedding party of 24 people with such grace! It was a chaotic day and everyone all over the place and she was still able to capture my most treasured moments! Her pictures literally captured the love Chas and I have and I couldn’t be more in love with the photos! -

Absolutely the best!
I am so glad I decided to have Brittany photograph our wedding. My husband was skeptical about using a professional but after seeing the pictures, he agrees that it was totally worth it! Our photos are absolutely gorgeous. Look no more! Brittany is not only amazing but she is so genuine and kind! From the start, Brittany took the time to listen to what my husband and I were looking for in our pictures. My husband and I knew this would be one of the most important days that we capture of our lives together and without a doubt we trusted Brittany....and boy did she deliver! The photos are amazing and are exactly what we wanted! Brittany also made it so easy on our wedding day. To be honest I feel a bit awkward in photos and do not know what to do or how to "pose" but she made it so easy. On your wedding day you want it to be easy and fun! Brittany knows how to make you feel special and how to capture what your love is all about. We would choose her all over again!! Choose Brittany to capture your wedding so you can look back at your special day! It goes by way too fast so you NEED an amazing photographer to capture it! -

Romantic NYC photo sessions with Brittany
I love Brittany's work, the tone that she worked with aligns with my taste, so I am really happy with that.
Brittany was helpful in directing us... I know most photographers wish to capture candid moments, but I could get awkward, and Brittany was helpful with that. I don't mind having staged photos where we pose and smile because I don't have the best candid face lol.
While Brittany was flexible in changing our engagement photoshoot date due to inclement weather, we wish we had stuck with our original date as the original date turned out to be a beautiful day and the day we ended up having our shoot... it was raining, torrential raining. -
