Where to begin?! Brigitte was the most amazing wedding photographer I could've asked for. She was so fun and friendly and honestly felt like family by the end of the night. Our photos were stunningly beautiful and we felt so at ease with Brigitte. My entire family loved her and she was so easy to love. Her professionalism was amazing her eye is even better and I cannot recommend her enough. Our photos came so quickly and they were even better than I could've ever imagined. I cannot recommend Brgitte enough!! -

Grateful to have found Brigitte!
Brigitte was recommended by our wedding planner and we are very glad she was. Brigitte is a lovely person and great collaborator. She made us feel instantly comfortable, and throughout the day was extremely professional and friendly. We were looking for a photographer with a style that was romantically sophisticated while also capturing something grand and rooted in nature about our colorful wedding with a Blue Ridge Mountain backdrop. Her photos were stunning. She did not excessively pose us. I perhaps expected a little more attention in positioning us for the more staged photos; instead, her style is perfect for someone who wants the flow of posed photographed portions to be very natural. We loved that during the reception and ceremony, her style did not slow the flow of anything at all and she captured so many truly incredible photos of these precious memories! She went above and beyond (even a little more hiking in nature than anticipated!) to get to places required to get some shots we hoped for. She is very responsive and professional. Having Brigitte capture our day has been nothing short of sensational. She is an exceptional photographer, artist, and human being. We had an interracial wedding and wanted to make sure we selected a photographer who could capture different skin tones in different lighting and be sensitive to different cultural norms--and Brigitte delivered. We love the timelessness and the humanity she captured in our photos while also giving use prompts to help us look our best and feel comfortable. And not only that, she is a joy to be around! When things got stressful on the day of, Brigitte was my go-to gal. She told me where I needed to be and when - and to smile. If you are looking for the perfect photographer, stop here-- she is your girl! Brigitte was so wonderful to work with, and she perfectly captured all our special moments, from the engagement session, rehearsal dinner to the wedding ceremony. It is so important to find a vendor you trust and feel comfortable with, and Brigitte is just that! She is such a kind, bubbly and personable individual. She is incredibly talented and made posing for photos fun ( even for a very non photogenic couple!). Throughout the process, Brigitte was organized, very responsive and helpful, sending along draft timelines to help streamline the wedding day. She was always timely and even took time before our sessions to scout out great photo spots for the engagement session and at our wedding venue.
We received a sneak peak (of 100 photos!) a day or two after the wedding and we were in love with how she captured our special day. Once the full gallery came out, all of our family and friends were in awe of the photos, and constantly spoke of how great Brigitte was throughout the wedding weekend, especially with getting children to pose for family photos. She captured our wedding weekend PERFECTLY and I can't recommend her enough.

Working with Brigitte for our wedding was the most wonderful experience!! We found her after having an engagement shoot with a different wedding photographer, where our styles just did not match up at all and we were getting a bit stressed. But the stars aligned for us and we were lucky enough to meet Brigitte!!! From the beginning, she was so easy to communicate with and extremely organized. It was amazing coming to her as a bride and she already had rough drafts of itineraries put together! And she is SO prompt with everything, from the very first meeting to delivering sneaks! Brigitte has a very clear and consistent aesthetic, so she put our mind at ease on how she could meet our needs. If you want timeless, editorial, elegant photos - Brigitte is definitely your girl! Needless to say, our photos from Brigitte (and her teammate, Abby!) turned out absolutely gorgeous and we could not be happier each time we look at them! -

Brigitte is kind, compassionate, funny and SO knowledgable about all things wedding photography. She was so understanding when we needed to change our timeline and make some alterations from the original agreement. Most importantly, she gave us our sneak peek wedding photos (100 of them btw) the day after! & she got our full album to us within 5 weeks of our wedding! She makes photography fun and posing for photos way less awkward than you think it will be. I would hire her again in a heart beat because she makes you feel like a friend, and not just a client. We cannot thank her enough for her guidance and work in helping us remember so many moment of our wedding day! -

From our initial conversation, her bubbly personality shines through and she made me and my now husband feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Her work is absolutely beautiful both digital and film, both of which she offers to her couples. I would highly recommend exploring film for your wedding photos. It adds so much character to the photos which my husband and I love. She made the wedding photo process so enjoyable and added in personal touches and extras to both our engagement photo package and our full wedding gallery package, both which we will treasure for a lifetime. After interviewing a few photographers, Tim and I both agreed that Brigitte was the best fit for our micro-wedding of 25 people this past month. Brigitte first caught our attention with her style of photography which always has the subjects framed in a fun and natural way. When we met up for the engagement shoot, we found that Brigitte was the friendliest photographer that we have worked with so far. It was literally freezing that day, but she still was genuinely excited to take pictures. She guided us to stand and pose naturally and was extremely encouraging and supportive to help with any shyness or awkwardness with modeling while taking pictures.
Following the engagement shoot, Brigitte was involved in helping us create a timeline in our wedding as well. She was extraordinarily organized and flexible with us. She sent us a general timeline that we used to help guide us through our 5 hours at our venue for the best lighting possible. Brigitte was patient with us through all of our requests and changes even up until weeks and days before the wedding. The day of the wedding, Brigitte captured little moments between Tim and I as well as interactions throughout the day with our guests, and tiny details that would have gone unnoticed. Even before receiving the pictures, we were confident in Brigitte’s abilities and did not worry one bit about how the wedding photos would turn out.
Throughout the process, we were always put at ease with Brigitte’s prompt responses and her wealth of knowledge and experience. She is extremely professional and even delivered the wedding pictures ahead of schedule. Without a doubt, we would recommend Brigitte as a photographer and would definitely love to do more photo sessions with her in the future.

Brigitte was absolutely amazing in every step of our wedding planning journey to the day of our wedding and even beyond. Yes, we have come back to her for more pictures because she is THAT good. We were so lucky to have her for engagement photos, the whole wedding day and she even did our maternity photos!
Brigitte wowed me from our first meeting. She is always prepared and so knowledgeable about what a bride wants and needs (not only just the pictures). She was so helpful in every way, and answered ALL of my questions (photo and non photo related).
Brigitte is so much fun! My husband HATES pictures, I mean *hates* them. He truly enjoyed our time with Brigitte, from our engagement pictures, to all of the wedding day pictures (you know that's a lot!) and even after when she did our maternity pictures. She knows what she's doing when she's posing you and directing a big group. She'll make you feel like you are a professional model.... no joke.
Brigitte gets your pictures back SO QUICK! I mean I know many hours and so much work is put into after the photos are taken but she works her butt off to get them back to you as soon as possible. (I.E. we had our sneak peaks of our photos the next day and the whole album soon after!).
Brigitte is a sweet friend. We didn't just hire a photographer, we gained a friend. We were so excited to share with her all of our life news as we went on our honey moon, and when we got pregnant.

Absolutely Perfect.
Oh my goodness where do I begin?? Brigitte was instrumental to making our wedding day go as smoothly as possible. She captured our day so beautifully, and gave us photos we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Her phototography is artistic, elegant and candid, all at the same time. Brigitte made an effort to truly understand the creative vision I had, so she could capture it accordingly. She was one of the first vendors I booked, and kept her updated with the planning process throughout the year. She always made me feel like I was communicating with an old friend, and that no request was ever a nuisance. She was attentive to every detail, and most importantly treated every (seemingly insignificant) note of mine with the utmost importance. Having someone like Brigitte with us on our wedding day made the experience even that much more fun. She kept us calm, even in the most hectic moments. We hired Abby as an associate photographer, and coordinated planning / photo editing / albums with Brigitte. Brigitte was incredible to work with in the planning leading up to the wedding. She fielded dozens of our questions, and was by far the most detailed and organized vendor we worked with. She accommodated our requests for specific types of photos, table photos with our guests, and created an incredibly detailed timeline that made it possible to get all the photos we wanted. She also provided an entire booklet and general advice for the day of the wedding to keep things on track.
Abby and her second photographer were true professionals on the day of the wedding. There was a light rain throughout the day, so it required a ton of flexibility in changing locations for the best photos, shuffling the timeline slightly, and through it all Abby hustled and took the most amazing photos that we will cherish forever. She captured so many candid moments and emotions of the day that it really feels like you are reliving it as you look through the photos. I'm not sure what else to say aside from you should definitely hire Brigitte and Abby for your wedding! -

There aren't enough words to convey how grateful my husband and I are that we booked Brigitte Renee Photography. When I first inquired with Brigitte, we set up a Zoom call and Brigitte got to know my fiance and I, which I loved. She was warm, kind, engaging, and interested in our story as a couple She is professional, talented, and made the entire process go smoothly - with helpful tips, tricks, and information. Even despite some unexpected rain (and hot humidity) that happened during out engagement photo shoot, she captured the BEST shots. They were amazing.
The photos of our wedding day were also beyond incredible. Brigitte has a creative eye and special and romantic touch to all details. Her vision came to life that day! She was able to capture our day so beautifully. From the details of my grandmothers' gloves that I wore, to special portraits with just my mother and sister, to intimate portraits of my husband and I in our historic venue, I could not have asked for a better photographer.
One of my favorite parts of the night was when Brigitte asked my husband and I if we wanted to go outside and take some quick pictures in front of the home. We went outside and took some amazing photos with the venue lit up in the background holding our signature cocktails :) some of my favorite photos!
Thank you SO much for everything, Brigitte. I can't wait to look at these photos for the rest of my life! We're so lucky to have worked with you. -

I am not a “less is more” kinda person, so… This is a bit lengthy, so I’ll try to break it up in the pieces. I apologize in advance for the uncontrolled rambling.
My wedding was back in October of 2021. And today, in May 2022, I have successfully forced her to remain friends with me for seven months—because that is how amazing she is.
1. The Selection Process: When I was selecting my photographer, I remember requiring my photographer to also provide videography services as well. But for some reason, there was something about Brigitte’s energy and vibe from her page that made me want to meet with her too. I was scheduled to meet with five vendors, and Brigitte was the first one I got to meet. Within 24 hours (or shorter—it was almost a year ago), I received a message from her asking me to schedule a Zoom call with her. On the call, she first asked me how the proposal went, and I remember telling her and tearing up, and laughingly apologising for it, to which she said “No, I’m tearing up as well!” And I think that was when I knew. As a wedding photographer, I am sure she has heard millions of engagement stories, but seeing her tear up signalled to me she has a big heart, and she truly listens to your story.
Though I had not yet decided whether to work with her, I quickly knew I wanted to be her friend. It ultimately came down to two vendors: Brigitte or another vendor who also had video services available. Given the tight finances, the logical step would have been to go with the second vendor since I knew I wanted videography as well. But nope. I decided to hire both.
Here is the main reason why (my apologies for having the important part come in after 500 sentences): Brigitte told me on the call, “Your photographer is someone who, not only has good talent, but has a personality and energy that matches yours because on your wedding day, they need to be your friend. I want you to feel comfortable enough with me to say, ‘Hey, come take a picture of me and X’ or ‘Please go away!’” And I am happy to report, not only was she a precious friend on my wedding day, she remains one today. (I am pretty sure I shamelessly told her after the wedding that I was going to force her to become friends with me. ¨̮ )
2. Wedding Day: We had a relatively smaller wedding of 70 guests. And to this day, every single one of them still talks about Brigitte, talking about how you almost couldn’t tell she was the photographer because she was so sweet, fun, and truly “matched your (my) energy.” I maybe asked her to revise our photography timeline ten thousand times, and each time, she was patient with me and talked through it to best encapture my vision. Everyone warned me that we should start photographs early because every wedding runs out of time. On the day of, she was so efficient that we finished early. And so we had time to rest before the ceremony, and we also got some extra GORGEOUS pictures in after sunset (which she improvised—and trust me, Brigitte will talk to you about sunlight/daylight/sunsets/sunrise like it’s her first born. So, a nighttime photo is a big deal). I remember right after the exiting the ceremony, she was the first person I saw, and she gave me a hug, and I felt how genuine she was. Despite her short height, she exudes so much energy YET you would never know she was there because she was so good at fitting in the right spaces to get her photos but not interrupt any moments. And what she said was true: I was SO glad to have her as a friend on the wedding day, because the day is super overwhelming, and so it was reassuring to have a familiar face guiding me through the day. Trust me, your photographer needs to be as organised as your day of manager, and Brigitte DEFINITELY knew what she was doing. She had a timeline and she guided everyone through it.
3. Engagement Session/Before Wedding Day: Her work is so valuable, yet she is kind enough to give her clients a free engagement session. Leading up to the date we had chosen for the Engagement session, we had some personal family tragedies, and my partner and I did not think we were going to be able to handle an engagement session. She was understanding and let us push the date (TWICE—but y’all better not do this. If you pick a date, stick to it!). But I think the best part was, I received a letter from her, wishing me and my partner her condolences for our loss, and it was just another reason why I was happy to have her by my side. Another BEST PART was that she let us have not only one, but TWO dogs in our photo session. And these two are hyper, crazy, energetic dogs, and she handled them so well, and the photos turned out amazing.
4. The Photos: I want to start by saying, both the Engagement and Wedding photos came to us SO QUICKLY. I can’t remember exactly how fast, but I think the Engagement photos came to us in like two days??? And the wedding photos in a week??? CRAZY. ALSO, my sister-in-law used a photographer who may be costed ten times Brigitte’s services, and all of the family (including the sister-in-law) talk about how Brigitte’s photos turned out so much better! I’M TELLING YOU: MORE EXPENSIVE DOES NOT MEAN BETTER QUALITY. And I swear, my partner and I are like a 3/10 on a good day, but her photos made us look a solid 10. I’m talking like how you must look to your grandmother when she constantly tells you “what a handsome/pretty grandchild you are.”
5. More Emotional Comments About Brigitte: Given the situation my partner and I were in, there were some personally sensitive and potentially triggering “issues” that are unavoidable in a wedding setting. Because Brigitte had kept in touch with me throughout the months leading up to the wedding, she knew all about them, and she was so delicate about them all. I don’t think I could have been that vulnerable unless she developed a friendship with me. And I truly believe her energy throughout the day helped me focus on all the happy parts of the wedding day, rather than the sadness of what was missing.
I could go on and on about how special this lady is, but it’s the kind of heartfelt connection you can only know by experiencing it yourself.

Run, do not walk, to book with Brigitte!! If I could give her 10 stars, I would - she is THAT good. Incredibly responsive, she makes you feel like you are the only couple in the world. Leading up to both our engagement shoot and wedding, she was in regular contact giving us tips to make our day go smoothly and our photos turn out the best. I even consulted her at one point on bridesmaids dress colors. On the day of, she's incredibly focused, helping you get the most out of your time with her. She is energetic and enthusiastic, making even those who hate having their photo taken naturals in front of the camera. Afterwards, our sneak peeks came 12 hours later - literally 8:00 AM after leaving our reception around 8:30 PM. Our photos speak for themselves ... but honestly I cannot recommend Brigitte enough. Oh - and ABSOLUTELY take her recommendation for sunset/golden hour portraits during the evening. The time away from our guests - just us and Brigitte - was priceless, and these are some of my favorite photos from the night. -

I don't even know where to start with how incredible our experience has been with Brigitte! From the very beginning doing a zoom call with her, I knew she would be great. Her bubbly and bright personality made us feel so comfortable and so excited to work with her. What caught our attention at first was her gorgeous photos. They felt so light and airy and that is exactly what I was looking for in a photographer. Our engagement session was such a great time! She was 100% okay with my outfit changes and location changes, and made us feel like models in front of the camera. My husband had never had photos taken and said he was worried about looking dumb, but Brigitte knows the perfect poses and directs you so well so you look effortless. She told us a timeframe in which to expect our pictures, and she completely exceeded those expectations! We had our gorgeous pictures back literally within a week. I was BLOWN AWAY by how incredible they are! Brigitte kept up with us between our engagement session and our wedding day. She promptly returned emails and always made sure every question I had was answered. Our wedding day was the most amazing day ever, and I attribute a lot of it to Brigitte and West. She made sure I felt beautiful and captured the most stunning photos of our day. Again, she directed us (and our bridal party) so well! We also hired a videographer, and they worked super good together. Brigitte has such a kind heart and her love for photography really shines through her personality as well as her photos. I look forward to her photographing all of our milestones through our new life together. -

Brigitte is a fantastic photographer and I am so so glad that we went with her for our wedding day! Our first conversation with Brigitte was over the phone (due to the pandemic), and after we hung up my husband and I took all of five minutes to decide we for sure wanted to hire her to be a part of our event. She has been nothing but warm, helpful, down to earth, and professional the entire time. She is very responsive and makes you feel prepared and comfortable for your shoot. The day of, Brigitte and Andrea (of Andrea Cable Photography, our second shooter) created an environment that made us feel like we had known them forever and our comfort level with the process came across in all of our photos. In addition, her attention to detail and the way she scouted the location, allowed for a smooth and productive photo session that day. The next morning, we even woke up to a sneak peek of our pictures, which I thought was a very sweet touch. The entirety of our wedding gallery Brigitte compiled is GORGEOUS, and I cannot recommend anyone more highly. We had the best experience! -

flexible and fun to work with
Brigitte is an amazing photographer and so much fun to work with! Many members of our wedding party are not photogenic (myself included) and she still managed to capture tons of photos of us looking beautiful. Our wedding was delayed an hour but she was able to get all of the photos we wanted and helped the wedding flow smoothly so that nobody noticed the delay. Would definitely hire her again! -

Top notch, gifted photographer!
Brigitte photographed our wedding and did a truly outstanding job of capturing the whole affair. She made it a breeze and a fun experience, and the photos are sooo terrific! I was worried that we would be absent too long with photos and miss the fun, but she is like a miracle worker, and she has a fun, sweet way of knowing just how to get you to pose that simply makes the experience enjoyable and produces amazing photos (where even my non-photogenic husband looks fantastic). I don’t know how she did it, but she captured not just our wedding, but our personalities, our love and our joy. She is super personable, punctual, efficient, talented, professional and fun to work with. She has a special gift and we recommend her without any reservation. -

I found Brigitte through some online research and I am so glad we hired her for our small wedding. Her prices are extremely reasonable; she’s very professional and did a great job of keeping me on track. A few weeks before our wedding, I wanted to take some family photos of us and our pup, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Even though I gave Brigette no notice, she managed to work us in one evening. We only had 15 minutes before sunset so we had to work fast. I was hopeful we got a few good shots…Brigitte followed up the next day and I could not believe how many amazing portraits she got. We pretty much loved all of them. After that, I knew we made the right decision to work with her. On the wedding day, she was very helpful and was able to roll with the punches despite all the wedding craziness. She did a great job directing us and making sure we got the shots we wanted. She was also fantastic in moving the family portraits along. Our wedding photos are beautiful and we are so appreciative of Brigitte’s hard work. I have no doubt that I will use her again in the future – Brigitte is a wonderful person and I would strongly recommend her to anyone in need of a wedding photographer! -

My husband and I are beyond thankful that we came across Brigitte! When I first reached out to her our date was booked and she was willing to help me find other options that were within our budget. From the moment we "met" Brigitte (through zoom) we knew we picked the perfect photographer. Brigitte is such a kind-hearted, outgoing, enthusiastic, and flexible person. Incredible photographer! Easy to work with and takes beautiful, authentic images
Brigitte is not only a fantastic person to work with, but she is also an incredible photographer! She took bridal portraits for me and every image was stunning. She was the best "hype woman" during the picture-taking process (I typically am very awkward in photos), but she made me feel beautiful and the images turned out authentic and natural. I can't wait to frame these photos and am so thankful to have lifetime memories in my wedding dress! My husband and I LOVE working with Brigitte -
