I cannot explain how amazing this venue is. Not only is it an amazing venue, but it is also a whole experience in itself!! I was searching for the perfect venue for about two months and when visiting other venues, I just did not get that "THIS IS THE ONE" kind of feeling. Once I visited Bridle Oaks, I put the deposit down right away without my fiancé, lol!! (we went back together for him to see it of course). Shawna and her staff are just simply wonderful. They made our vision come true and are truly so kind!! It brings me tears of joy as I am writing this because I wish I could just go back to our wedding night! Everything was perfect! I am already planning to have my future baby shower here at the cute cottage they have!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Bridle Oaks!!! You guys are amazing!Bridle Oaks Barn's reply:

This venue is truly top notch. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we fell in love. The grounds are naturally beautiful with elegant touches that made it the perfect place for our wedding. From the time we booked, Shawna was wonderful to work with and helped make our big day everything we hoped for. She even hatched baby chickens for us to interact with on our wedding day, which was such a special touch.
We booked the cottage for our rehearsal dinner and it was the perfect size and exactly what we needed. We were able to get into the house early to get ready, and we stayed in the bridal suite after the wedding. The house was adorable and beautifully furnished, both for our stay and for the girls to get ready.
Even though Shawna was out of town on our wedding day, she and her staff made everything run smoothly. She was always quick to answer any questions before, during, and after the wedding. The property and the team truly provide a five star experience. I would absolutely recommend Bridle Oaks Barn for a wedding or any other event. -

It was the venue of my dreams!
Bridle Oaks was the first venue for our wedding we toured, and truthfully it could’ve been the only one. We loved everything about it when we stopped in, and I loved Shawna’s professionalism and attitude. She was honest, showed all the amazing things about the venue, but straight to the point which I really appreciated. I feel like so many wedding vendors try so hard to sell their stuff and blow glitter in your face, which honestly was my least favorite part about wedding planning, so I appreciated just how real and down to earth Shawna was. She was super helpful and responsive. She gave us a list of her most recommended vendors when we booked which we used very heavily and it made the entire day SO smooth and absolutely perfect! Not only that, but the venue itself is just stunning. None of the other venues we saw held a candle to it. It was everything we wanted and more! Not only that but our guests loved it! We had a couple come to our wedding who reached out to Bridle Oaks to book their future wedding because they adored the area and thought everything just went so perfectly! We also loved the option for my bridesmaids and I to stay in the house the night before the wedding and get ready there that morning as a Saturday bride. It just made for a slow, easy start to the morning that set the perfect tone for the whole day. 10/10 would highly recommend and would plan other events here in the future!Bridle Oaks Barn's reply:

My (now) husband and I toured many different venues throughout Central Florida, but knew we had stumbled upon a GEM when we found Bridle Oaks. The grounds are absolutely enchanting, perfectly blending fairytale landscape vibes with rustic charm and up-to-date amenities and ADA access. There are also several goats, chickens and donkeys that call this place their home which completely added to the charm. When touring the property, it was evident that the owner has really poured her heart into this place!
The owner, Shawna, was very professional and helped walk us through this process. What sold us on the venue was that they work closely with Heartwood Events (Wedding Coordinating services) and Shawna facilitated that process connecting us with our coordinator who was fantastic and has extensive knowledge of the property and local vendors.
Bridle Oaks also has loads of fabulous rentals right there on-site, including a room full of free "rentals" that can be utilized (including signs, lanterns, table numbers, etc). We ending up renting their colorful water goblets, and gold chargers for a small additional cost and it was so worth it. This made it easy on us and really added to the aesthetic.
We and our guests had just the most magical time, so much so, we've continually had family and friends bring up our wedding to us describing how special and impactful that experience was... and we AGREE.

Bridle Oaks is a beautiful hidden treasure. All my guests felt like they were transported to a lush, scenic forest just for us. The value was great for the venue and you're able to bring your own vendors, which saved us a lot of money and helped us create the perfect night we wanted. Excellent experience
There are not enough words to adequately describe the amazing experience we had with Bridle Oaks. FairyTale Wedding
Shawna the venue owner and Desire my coordinator made my absolute dreams come true for my wedding. Everything I had planned came to life thanks to this place with ease and comfort. The Venue is gorgeous with a hidden forest detail that blew me away come sun down. From the ceremony to the reception to all the planning, I am so happy I was able to have my wedding here. Although Bridle Oaks is a breathtaking venue in and of itself, it is the staff there, particularly Shawna, who really created a magical day for us. I was beyond stressed with the idea of rain on the day, most weather predictors putting the chance of rain at over 90 percent. Due to the rain, our original plans for space, food truck, etc. All had to be changed but Shawna made it happen. Shawna created a gorgeous indoor ceremony space for us. Reconfigured our used space. Found a perfect spot for the food truck. It allowed me to lose all the stress I had built up.
The clouds were on our side and it ended up not raining, but it was the effort that really made a difference for me. And honestly, the changes made the night even better than I could have hoped.
The guests couldn't stop talking about the beauty of the venue, and as a bonus I even got to play with the goats!
Bridle Oaks flexibility is also notable. We were non traditional in multiple ways. No traditional sit down dinner, for example. We had a food truck instead. His mother made our cake. We DIYd the decor, etc.
Pricing is also important to note. We had less than 50 people and with Bridle Oaks, we spent less than 7k on our entire wedding.
Shawna and her team were absolutely amazing. I could not thank them enough.

My husband and I looked at many venues online. We went to a wedding expo and one of the photographers there showed us pictures of Bridle Oaks and we knew right away that we needed to take a tour. As soon as we met Shawna and she showed us the property we knew we didn't need to look any further, it ticked all the boxes. I'm so happy we had our special day here, it was so perfect! I have been photographing on this property from the very beginning and every time I arrive for a wedding (or photoshoot) I leave feeling inspired by all of its beauty and ENDLESS photo locations. It’s a photographer’s gold mine! Shawna is always adding new additions/upgrades to the property which keeps it fun and interesting. I love the fact that couples can get ready, have their ceremony, and reception all on-site. Saves you (and myself) so much time traveling to and from locations. The layout of the property is large but purposeful and can be a great fit for smaller gatherings as well. The different paths throughout the property add a whimsical feel, and the market lights create this beautiful and romantic ambiance. Not to mention all of the adorable animals on the property!! Goats, horses, chickens. Last time I was on site I even got there early just to photograph the butterflies. 😆
Bridle Oaks is so versatile! I have seen/captured so many different styles of weddings…Boho, Fairytale, Country, Vintage, even Viking-themed. Be sure to check out their variety of vintage items available to rent. The team of day of coordinators goes above and beyond to make sure the vision of your dream day becomes a reality. Communication is on point, and with so many moving pieces (and myself being the one to capture those moments) I cannot stress enough how important that is. But enough about what I have to say, a site visit alone will speak for itself.

For any and all future married couples look no further for the most perfect wedding venue! My Husband and I were engaged and planned our wedding from South Carolina; and once we toured this venue and met Shawna we were so ecstatic!! We signed the contract immediately and started planning. Shawna is so wonderful to work with and is very confident in all this property has to offer for your most special day. We even utilized all of her preferred vendors and it made our planning process run so much more smoothly. Shawna was easy to work with. We didn't have a huge wedding, but we were well taken care of. We also booked almost two years out from our date!! Shawna stalked the radar for the weather. We had to hold, but there was a nice pocket that opened so we could use the outdoor alter! I highly recommend this venue to anybody wanting a rustic or fall feel! They even have some awesome decor you can use for free! Oh and the place is filled with gorgeous photo ops! Find them on instagram!! You won't be disappointed! -

Fairytale Barn
My wedding ended up being more than I could’ve ever dreamed. This is not only a beautiful venue with so much to offer but every single person working at Bridle Oaks put in so much effort to make our day so special. The layout of the land is amazing and keeps every event separated and flows nicely. Shawna Everett and her staff are wonderful and Bridle Oaks is a beautiful venue for an event. Shawna’s attention to detail made my Mother’s 92nd birthday an evening to remember. We had many elderly guests and Shawna’s staff was so accommodating, escorting the guests on golf carts. The barn is rustic and elegant all at the same time. Shawna graciously assisted us in our planning process, and in the end, we felt like we gained a lovely friend. We highly recommend this venue for an event. You will be very pleased. -

Beautiful Bridle Oaks
First off I have to say Shawna (the owner) is AMAZING. She is so sweet and just wants to be sure that you are having the best wedding for you; you're not just another bride.
The house on the property is beautiful and well kept, all of the staff are amazing and professional, and the venue is just BEAUTIFUL. I have no complaints about the venue or Shawna in themselves.
The only negative would be the A/C is mandatory (during certain months) and separate; however she does warn of this ahead of time! -

The minute my husband and I parked at this venue, I knew it was the one. Bridal Oaks Barn was the only venue I toured, and it was PERFECT. The reservation and contract process was very straight forward and simple. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with via text and email throughout the process as a multitude of questions arose. She is extremely nice, caring, and wonderful at her job! The property is just as advertised. An amazing place for an outdoor wedding: the trees provide privacy, landscaping is beautiful, and the farm animals are so cute!
There is an option to rent the house on property. I reserved the bride house for my maids and I to stay in and get ready. The house was very clean and the décor was great! Perfect size for the makeup and hair craziness.
The ceremony location is the heart of the venue - surround by trees to exchange vows for your friends and family to hear. My groom’s first look was a once in a life time moment, and the wooden door entrance made it even more special. Also, the newly installed wooden benches looked awesome!
The cocktail barn is the perfect set up for guests to mingle as the bridal party takes photos. The lighting was great! The high-top tables were perfect for eating appetizers. I didn’t get to attend the cocktail hour, as I was the bride, ha. But I hear it was a blast!
Finally, reception, time to celebrate! The ceremony barn is absolutely beautiful! The interior wood, the lighting, the sealed floors, the dark wood chairs, the chandler… just breath taking. The floor plan was perfect, giving plenty of room for my 100ish guests to be seated, and to dance! The acoustics were awesome which made for a GREAT dance party! The photobooth was located at the entrance and fun spot for guest selfies. The bar is located outside, had great lighting, and plenty of room for guests to mingle in the grass.
The property owner allows you to bring and set up almost any décor that you want! And as much as you want! The venue is yours to dress up any way you like! My navy blue with gold rustic selection with sunflowers turned out even better than I could imagine. It was truly the best day of my life. Every. Single. Detail.

I cannot say enough good things about Bridle Oaks. It was the first and only venue I looked at, and I booked right after our tour.
I was a Covid bride, I was one of the first brides to have to cancel and reschedule my wedding (original date was March 22, 2020)
Shawna was AMAZING and helping me through the whole situation. I had to reschedule 3 more times during the height of the pandemic and I had help and support every step of the way.
My wedding finally happened in May 2021, and I can say it was absolutely perfect.
The natural setting was all the decor I needed, though Bridle Oaks has an entire room of decor you can use, and very affordable rentals (I got the giant jenga and cornhole which I hear was a huge hit during the cocktail hour)
I strongly suggest you listen to Shawna when she suggests something wether it is air conditions, planner suggestions or vendors. I went with the preferred vendors and a planner that has worked many weddings at this venue. I owe the success of me wedding to these people. Planning wasn’t stressful, even with the cancelling and rescheduling. If any problems arose, I did not hear of them and they were taken care of swiftly.Bridle Oaks Barn's reply:

We wanted to have a rustic theme wedding and Bridle Oaks couldn't be possibly more perfect! When my Husband and I first had a tour around the venue, it was love at first sight. The place is an absolute fairy tale. The setting is just breathtaking and has such a natural environment. It is well taken care of by the wonderful owner. Shawna is sincere, professional, and a compassionate lady. She will make sure and inform you everything you need to know about the venue. Furthermore, our guests were downright astonished of how beautiful the place was. In addition, the guests could not stop talking about what a wonderful choice we made by getting married in this enchanted place and we couldn't agreed more. This venue is GORGEOUS and very affordable!! All of the staff there, especially Shawna and Freddi, went above and beyond to ensure my special day was breathtaking despite the rain that just wouldn’t let up! I cannot express how wonderful everyone at Bridle Oaks is! The owner, Shawna is so organized, answers all of your questions promptly, and makes you feel so comfortable for the moment you speak with her. My day of coordinator, Fredricka, made my day run so smoothly! She coordinated with all of my vendors to make sure my day was perfect! From the very beginning she understood my vision made it come to life. I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day, and I can't thank her enough for that. Shawna and the team at Bridle Oaks Barn are absolutely incredible. First off, the venue is spectacular- the outdoor ceremony space, the cocktail barn and the reception barn are all beautiful spaces for entertaining guests throughout your wedding day. There is greenery everywhere and the farm animals are so fun to hang out. It was simple to set up a date to tour the venue and Shawna was so knowledgable and had an answer for any question I could think of- she also provided a list of recommended vendors for every category which was super helpful! They have a room filled with decor for you to use for FREE! which was so helpful and also several items that you could rent for super reasonable prices. There was someone available for every single thing on my wedding day and they made sure that there was nothing for me to stress about. I'm so happy that I chose this gorgeous place as my wedding venue, thank you Bridle Oaks team!!Bridle Oaks Barn's reply:

This is definitely a must see wedding venue that every bride should check out! Shawna is also extremely amazing to work with. I would recommend making sure you capture photos in the field of ferns, the ceremony site, and of course another cool spot is the backside of the barn under the twinkle lights.

Paola Sent on 05/15/2018From the moment Josean and I got engaged we knew we wanted to celebrate our wedding where the reception and ceremony cite was in the same place. We wanted a place that had a whimsical feeling with lots of nature. Bridle Oaks was the first venue we visited and felt in love immediately with the place. Shawna was so nice and helpful. She walked us through the facility and even recommended us vendors that we still needed. She has a free decor room which I loved. I highly recommend this venue!!

Jamie Sent on 01/10/2018This is the most beautiful, magical wedding venue I've ever seen and my groom and I had the most amazing time taking pictures around all of the photo-op spots around the property. Every location provides the perfect backdrop for wedding photos! My guests could not stop complimenting how perfect and beautiful our wedding was. The owner (Shawna) and her staff are super nice, helpful and accommodating. Plus, they are very affordable compared to many other venues!

I recently helped a close friend who is like a daughter to me plan for her destination wedding here on 10/15/17 & it was by far the most beautiful & perfect wedding I’ve ever been to.. like a fairytale come true! Shawna & Ashley were so helpful & amazing to work with. I HIGHLY recommend upgrading the coordinator for the day package, it’s worth every penny to have all the set up, clean up & coordinating w/ vendors taken care of for you! Ashley was our coordinator for the day & she went above & beyond to make the day absolutely magical! Everything flowed so smoothly. Parents of the Bride & Groom were able to enjoy the day like guests because Ashley took care of everything! The lighting in the barn is so romantic & did not feel crowded at all with 150 people. The entire property... the barn, outdoor chapel & the cocktail hour area are all gorgeous already & don’t even need much decorating. You really have to see it yourself to appreciate the beauty of it all that you can’t get from pictures. The vendors we used were: Sonny’s for catering, Chace’s Cakes for wedding cake, Country Club Flower Shop for flowers & they all were used to doing events there, made a great team & did an amazing job!!! Everthing came together just perfectly! All the guests were commenting that it looked like Joanna Gaines herself put it all together... It was such a wonderful day, we didn’t want it to end!

Natalie Sent on 05/03/2017This venue is magical and breath taking!! It was one of the first venues I looked at for our wedding and immediately I knew it was "the one" for us. Shawna was incredibly helpful, flexible, and professional. Our wedding was on 2/19/17 and it could not have been more perfect!! The weather was perfect and the it made our ceremony in the outdoor chapel even more intimate and magical. All of our guest could not stop talking about how beautiful everything was and our wedding pictures in this location look like they are from a magazine!! Shawna had the house ready for our bridal party to get ready in and it was perfect! We even had fresh flowers ( such a sweet touch!). Shawna had recommended vendors but also let us pick ours and she worked great with our wedding planners. I loved that tables, chairs, and many decorations are included and there is a back up options in case it were to rain the day of (major bonus). The barn for our reception was perfect and magical, our wedding day was unforgettable thanks to Bridal Oaks! I HIGHLY recommend this venue for your wedding you will not regret it!! Terri Sent on 12/09/2016If I were to describe Bridle Oaks in one word, it would be MAGICAL. Everything about Bridle Oaks is romantic & dreamy! Our family said it was the prettiest venue they’d ever seen! In fact, two of our friends—married just 8 months ago—said that if they’d known about Bridle Oaks, they would have had their wedding there as well. All of our guests were blown away by this space--the outdoor altar set amongst the trees, the charming open air pub for cocktail hour, the exquisite Barn for our plated, dinner reception, the outdoor dance floor under the stars, the bonfire that hosted our late night S'mores, & the grounds that served as the perfect spot for our Movie on the Lawn finale! One of my favorite pictures was taken after dark under a lit-up chandelier with the barn as a backdrop! As if that wasn't enough, we were even able to reside at the 2-bedroom, bridal house on property for two nights! I stayed the eve of our wedding with my bridal party & the night of with my new hubby. It was perfect—In creating this venue, EVERY DETAIL was considered. The place is exceptional--the natural beauty, the rustic charm, the elegant additions!! The flow is PERFECT for a ceremony combined with a happy hour followed by a dinner, reception & party. You really, truly can't ask for more. But Bridle Oaks is so much more than a place! It's the heart of Shawna. I can't imagine meeting anyone in this industry who will care more about your wedding & helping you bring your vision to reality! Shawna blew me away with her nurturing, helpful, can do/will do approach! She was available with helpful suggestions & A-List referrals from start to finish & I cannot thank her enough. She is truly a very talented, multi-dimensional lady & I feel blessed that she was part of orchestrating our most perfect wedding! If you are considering Bridle Oaks Barn as your wedding venue, do not hesitate! You won't find a more beautiful setting or better team. Suyanne Sent on 02/26/2016I can't even get started on this place. It is simply breath taking! The venue is absolutely beautiful. It offers a place for both the ceremony and the reception. When people usually think of a barn they automatically see a country wedding but this place has the option to make it an elegant rustic wedding, with the beautiful lights and chandelier inside the barn. This venue also has a place for the cocktail hour. Everything about this venue was thought through. Shawna is the sales person there and she answered every question we had and more, she said things that we wouldn't imagine even asking, all in all we got a lot of information through her. She provides(after you book the venue) a bunch of cards of different vendors she has worked with. This is a beautiful and very affordable place. We like that we can choose the catering and other vendors on our own. The also provide a day of coordinator for an extra yet affordable price. If you get the day of coordinator they will decorate everything on your wedding day! They also have a house you can rent for 24 hours get ready there and spend the night! -

…there were multiple instances when some sort of attitude was received by either myself, my husband, and my parents. Now I know I wasn’t the easiest to work with when it came to specifics but I really wish Shawna and Victoria were a little more understanding of the fact that I’ve never done any of this before so obviously there were a lot of questions and confusion from me. Victoria gave attitude when it came to the layout of the barn, linens, general decor. I never felt comfortable around her and she made me feel like I was stupid throughout the entire process. 10/10 for her assistants though, the 2 of them killed it and we appreciate them. Shawna was a huge help! Up until the day of when my parents dropped off the alcohol for the night and asked her where we should put it, I guess there was confusion about my family being told where to put it all. She started getting irritated when they placed everything in the wrong place when they were more than willing to move it ASAP. Overall, I didn’t feel very welcome to begin with which really sucks but it is what it is. The main reason why I’m writing this is so Bridle Oaks and their team is more aware of brides that have no idea what they’re doing and being more understanding of that in the future.

Kyleigh ( and family) I’m just stunned and of course so saddened by this review. All I can think of is to say I’m so so sorry expectation’s were not met. I was never irritated that all the alcohol was put in the wrong place. I only gently asked if it could be moved to the correct location for the bartender.
On the day of your wedding a lady showed up who we never met and exclaimed she was “ the decorator!” Even though this was a total surprise and ALL the planning we had done with regards to decor, design and layout was instantly changed, I went ABOVE and BEYOND to make her feel welcome, appreciated and respected. We laughed about the animals and became very friendly with each other. I’ve never been in a situation like this, where a bride had paid good money for a full time coordinator, but then someone else showed up literally 24 hours before. (And expected them to know each other’s plans for decor, colors and EVERYTHING!) I decided right then and there to let it all go! And I did.
I thought we all did a great job of balancing a LOT of last minute changes, surprises and also… we all worked hard to do our best to make your wedding day great. When the boys were hot in the Grooms room, I offered water and told them to feel welcome to move into the AC of the barn.
I hated that I had to ask for the money envelopes just hours before your ceremony. I tried to be kind, quiet, non-obtrusive and accommodating about this. I felt I was regarded as really imposing on you.
As far as Victoria’s assistants… didn’t one accidentally spill a drink on a family member and get in big trouble and yelled at? She felt horrible and was in tears behind closed doors.
We’re human. We did our very best.
That…. I can stand by.
