I cannot say enough good things about the Bridge Club. This venue was an absolute dream to have for our wedding day! Before finding the Bridge Club, we looked at several other venues and they were all overpriced and felt like a wedding mill. However, once we found the Bridge Club, it was a done deal! Not only do they have options for smaller events and larger events, but the space is incredibly modern without feeling stuffy. We wanted our wedding to feel like a large but intimate dinner party and that’s exactly what we got! Jeramy and Jessie were incredibly gracious and helpful with everything from how to utilize the tvs to customizing a menu to fit our needs! Speaking of food, IT IS THE BEST FOOD IN TOWN! I raved about it for the entire year while planning our wedding and this is one of the only places I felt 100% confident that it would live up to all the hype! The apps, the platters, the mac and cheese, oh my! Definitely be prepared to EAT if you are getting married here – I stuffed my face and I have no regrets. Everything from start to finish was incredible at the Bridge Club. I would choose to have our wedding here over and over because they offer so many delicious food options and really, the space is beautiful without even adding anything to it! It was so nice to not have to worry about rental linens or china and to have the catering and bar-tending built in! Overall, the Bridge Club is hands down everything we could have wanted in a venue: great location, accommodating, amazing food and alcohol, friendly and knowledgeable staff and an absolutely beautiful space! -

April Bridge Club Wedding Reception
We had the most wonderful experience hosting our wedding reception at Bridge Club on Saturday, April 16th. We had our cocktail hour on the second floor and we were able to have dinner/dancing on the third. We had about 63 people plus vendors and it was the perfect size for 8 tables of 8 plus a small dance floor on the third floor. All of our guests raved about the food! We had a great salad, roasted fish and short ribs, seasonal veggies and macaroni and cheese, and an amazing chocolate hazelnut budino dessert! The service was so fantastic. From planning the meal and floor plan, playing a custom slide show, and then having excellent service both with the meal and at the bar, we could not be happier with our choice!! -

The Bridge Club is a great venue for any occasion. The staff provided excellent service and the food was outstanding. The beautifully restored historic building has amazing views of downtown Raleigh. We look forward to booking our next occasion at the Bridge Club. -

Carol Sent on 05/03/2018exceptional experience for all! Jeramy was our event coordinator, made suggestions that improved our evening, and followed through completely with all our wishes. We had a groom's cake brought in...and Jeramy arranged for it's display...along with the swords we brought to cut it...LOL...Game of Thrones theme cake! Lovely location, absolutely delicious food, lovely evening! Made the Rehearsal Dinner a really magical evening! Cannot say enough good things about Bridge Club!!! And Kelley Odom Flowers and Interiors (recommended by Bridge Club) provided our flowers and they were unbelievable...the aroma and appearance were beyond expectations!!! And the flowers lasted over ten days after bringing them home (unusual for wedding events...i can tell you)!

Choosing the Bridge Club to host our wedding rehearsal or “family dinner” as we called it was hands down the best decision we made in planning our entire wedding weekend.
When you dine at the Bridge Club you know the food is going to be memorable, but what surprised us was the service level and staff equally contributed to an evening we and our whole family will be talking about for years to come.
From the minute we reached out, the staff was responsive and even anticipated our needs. They made the planning process a breeze and accommodated any request we had on behalf of ourselves or our guests, even on the fly when needed.
It was a full-on downpour the night of our event and not a single guest complained as from the minute they walked out of the rain and into the Bridge Club the ambiance, food, service level and amazing staff had created an experience that captured their attention in a deep way and allowed our two families to focus on getting to know each other and become one.
We received so many compliments about the food and the space that we were worried our wedding itself might not live up to the billing. 😊
If you want your guests to have a truly unforgettable experience and not just a meal, then you’ve found the right place. I cannot say enough good things about the Bridge Club, it’s staff and the food. We can’t wait to plan our next event there as it has truly touched our hearts in the most genuine of ways. -

Bridge Club was the perfect venue for our 80-person wedding. After touring other options, our experience here felt refreshingly different. Michelle was an absolute joy to work with. She was helpful, kind, and never pushy. She genuinely wanted us to make the best choices for our day.
What we loved most about Bridge Club is that it isn’t a traditional “wedding venue” but an event space that happens to host weddings. It gave our celebration the feel of an intimate dinner party with friends, which is exactly what we wanted. The fact that the venue already comes equipped with so much (tables, chairs, décor, even printed menus if you’d like) made the planning easier and more enjoyable. We opted to rent napkins for a pop of color and print our own menus, but it was great to have those choices without the burden of renting everything from scratch.
As many reviews mention, the food really is great. It exceeded our expectations, especially for wedding food. We started with the caesar salad, followed by roasted short ribs au poivre and shrimp and grits, served family style with sides of roasted fingerling potatoes, carrots with whipped tahini, and mac and cheese. Everything was outstanding, and we'd pick the exact same menu all over again. They are good with dietary restrictions and will make sure each guest has a full meal they can eat regardless of your menu selections.
For dessert, we chose a reception dessert table with chocolate pudding topped with cookie crumble and red velvet cake.
Bridge Club is 10/10 all around!

Excellent location for rehearsal dinner/welcome party
We held our rehearsal dinner turned welcome party at the Bridge Club and it was the best decision! The team was easy to work with (thanks Jessie and Jackie!) and we even got to attend a tasting event to sample a selection of the options and pick our menu, which was so fun. The night itself went perfectly- the service was great, there were never long lines at the bar and the food was INCREDIBLE (not surprising if you've been to any of AC's restaurants)! Our guests are still talking about the citrus braised pork. In order to allow for a cocktail style welcome party after the rehearsal dinner ended, the Bridge Club team was willing to push tables to the side to create space for the additional guests (and I don't even think I noticed this being done since they are such pros). Oh! They also gave my parents a few containers of leftovers, which were joyfully consumed the next day by the entire family! The value for the service and quality is outstanding. Highly recommend! -

The Bridge Club was the perfect space to host our wedding reception. I attended a friends wedding in the space and knew I had to check it out when I got engaged. Michelle is such a pleasure to work with. She is so kind, flexible, and professional. She has years of experience and will make sure your event is planned and executed to perfection!! We visited the space a few times with Michelle, our planner, and different family members. We brainstormed the best way to utilize the space, whether to use two floors or one, and the flow of the evening. I cannot speak highly enough of Michelle and the entire team.
The food was phenomenal- seriously!! So many guests have raved about the meal and service since the wedding. "Best wedding food ever" is a quote from my best friend. They can customize any and everything you want. We had a logo of our dogs for the TVs, Tyler put the logo on our bar menu, we love pie so did a pie cutting instead of cake, and had a pie dessert station. When I tell you I literally did NOTHING with Bridge Club wedding weekend I am not lying. They work seamlessly with your vendors so you do not have to worry about coordinating with florist/musician/etc. and can just show up.
When we showed up to the space it was just as I envisioned, everything was in place, and perfect!!! They also take food allergies very seriously so if you have any guests with those do not worry. They will take great care of them.
If you are looking to treat your guests to a wonderful meal, ambience, and service look no further! I am already thinking how I can host my next event there. -

Raleigh’s best kept secret.
As a bride on a budget, there were only a handful of options that really were willing to work with me, but The Bridge Club surpassed all of them. I worked with Casey to plan our big day and when I say this is the BEST kept secret in Raleigh, I truly mean it. I was skeptical since I couldn’t find a ton of weddings hosted at the Bridge Club, but I really fell in love with the space after my tour. It’s so authentically Raleigh and historic without trying to be too “wedding-y” with their decor approach. The fact that the venue came with all tables, chairs, furniture and tableware without an extra fee was a huge selling point. Some key highlights
The food: I’m serious when I say I’ve never had a better meal. My guests are STILL texting me about how incredible the food was.
The staff: Casey and everyone at BC were willing to accommodate our every need. Seriously. They would have moved mountains for us — I really believe that! I wanted a parade exit, which I don’t believe they’d done before, and they made it happen! Casey basically planned our entire day our timeline wise and gave us so many layout recommendations that I only needed to hire a day of coordinator. I felt confident that I could do the bulk of the work a full service planner would do thanks to the staff!
The service: there was NEVER an empty glass. I did not expect table wine service at dinner which was a really pleasant surprise—no one had to go to the bar!
The decor: it’s SO unique. We saved a lot on florals because the sweeping views of downtown Raleigh really didn’t require anything. The custom tables and chairs they have in the space are also perfect

Alina Sent on 06/20/2018My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner on the second floor of The Bridge Club. We got a tour of the venue before booking and Jeramy gave us all of the information we needed. It is an amazing space that really reflects Raleigh which was what we were going for so we booked right away. We chose the food, alcohol, and even got floor plan options/ideas. When we arrived everything was set up (and looked great!), a bar tender was ready to serve drinks, and there were chefs preparing the appetizers and waiters serving them. The food was amazing (especially the fried chicken) and everyone who attended couldn't stop talking about it. We were even sent home with the left overs. You are able to make a playlist for them to play or have them choose music (which we did) and we were also able to show a slideshow. We are so pleased with The Bridge Club and would highly recommend it for any event! -

I knew from the start of my engagement that I wanted a small, intimate ceremony and reception. After reaching out to dozens of venues—most of whom were completely unresponsive or flat-out dismissive of my small budget—I came across Bridge Club. I'm so glad I did, because my wedding was everything I wanted and more. The loft-style space on the second floor was the perfect backdrop for my vision of a relaxed, elegant ceremony, and the family-style seated dinner was a massive hit with all of our guests! (People are still messaging me about how much they loved the food!) From start to finish, the team at Bridge Club made sure every single one of my needs was met. (They even made a special gluten- and dairy-free cake so I could join in on the celebrations, too!) I'm so grateful to Bridge Club for helping make my wedding day unforgettable. -

The team at the Bridge Club was professional and responsive to our needs every step of the way. We wanted an evening that our friends and family would enjoy, but that would be elegant and reflective of our tastes. We also didn't want to break the bank. The Bridge Club, because they cook all food in-house (and it is among the best food in Raleigh, to be clear) seems to put less emphasis on up-charging; the space rental fees were surprisingly low and they provided everything else we needed, like cutlery and dishes. To reiterate, the amount I am providing to WeddingWire that we paid for this vendor included everything: The space, the food, the alcohol, the tables, the cuttlery, the dishes, and the staff (which included two dedicated bars and several staff members that were responsive to the needs of guests all evening).
The night-of staff members were spectacular. We had some serious issues with our DJ and photo booth (long story short, they didn't show up and sent strangers to cover), but Kyle and his staff were able to sort everything out (even though it was nowhere near their responsibility!). At one point in the evening, my husband had a glass knocked out of his hand and two staff members showed up within moments: One to clean up the glass and make sure everyone was safe and one to take his drink order to replace it! Truly outstanding service all around.
I would also like to note that the Ashley Christensen (AC) restaurant group reflected our personal values perfectly; we chose to share our special day with them because they have a strong, persistent vision of a better Raleigh and a better world (down to their liquor offerings being reflective of the distiller's practices toward the LGBT community!). We wanted our wedding to reflect the beauty of the world as we wish it to be, and the team at AC Restaurants were perfect partners in achieving that. -

Rehearsal Dinner Family Style
Planning our Son's Rehearsal Dinner at the Bridge Club was very easy. Family Style Service was more personal. The Servers were very nice and the Food was a big Hit, especially the Tea Brined Chicken and Macaroni and Cheese. Jeramy and Jessie were very helpful in assisting me with the arrangements and picking menu items. Relaxing atmosphere made this Special Evening very wonderful. Thank you to the Staff at the Bridge Club.

The Bridge Club was everything we could have ask for and more for our small wedding.
We had a 40-person wedding and I knew as soon as I finished my tour that this venue was for us. Our wedding was small and intimate, and I honestly dreaded wedding planning. To be honest, I didn’t enjoy it at all. Booking Bridge Club was definitely the best move I have made for my wedding! The venue itself is just beautiful by itself, so I didn’t feel the need to go overboard with the decor. There was so much character, warmth and class from the hardwood floors to the huge windows. We booked the second-floor venue, which had a kitchen area, which was not ideal, but honestly I didn’t even really pay attention to it the day of.
Planning with Jessie and Michelle was a breeze! Michelle was SO helpful and patient when I kept sending her revision after revision of our seating arrangements and she was so open and accommodating to all of my ideas and frantic, last-minute thoughts. I left our phone calls in the weeks leading up to the wedding feeling instantly calmed and reassured.
Since the food was included with the package, it was one less vendor to search for. Not to mention, the food was absolutely phenomenal!!! We went to their very first tasting event where we, along with all of the couples getting married there that season, got to sample most of the items on their wedding menu. It was a fun event and we got to bring my dad and my best friend along. Michelle was SUPER accommodating when it came time to make our selections! I think originally, we were supposed to select just one or two desserts that would be served as an individual serving, but we couldn’t narrow down since everything was just so delicious. We really loved the dessert-table style at the tasting, and even though it wasn’t offered on the menu, we were able to work with Michelle to make the dessert tasting table come true with a variety of smaller tartlets. We selected the fried chicken, grilled fish (which I was personally a hair skeptical about but it was SO so good!) After the tasting, we actually couldn’t stop raving about the passed hors d'oeuvres. The flavors and textures of everything, the ingenuity and richness of everything we had at dinner was unbelievable. Weeks later, our families were still raving about how good the food was. Michelle also helped select wine pairings that went really beautifully with our meal.
On the day of our wedding, the third floor was available and the Bridge Club team set up a table, some chairs and some light refreshments for us to chill, collect ourselves and take a breath before the ceremony on the second floor. And when my husband and I left with the photographer to take photos when dinner started, the Bridge Club team set aside hot meals of all of the dishes and sides to bring to our table when we returned. Their hospitality, care and thoughtfulness during our rehearsal and wedding day was just so wonderful and we felt so well taken care of!
We did have some tiny microphone issues when my husband was reading his vows, but given that neither myself nor my officiant (nor anyone else giving speeches the rest of the night) had issues, I’m chalking that one up to user error. That aside, Jessie, Michelle and the other lovely folks at Bridge Club made our day so special and wonderful and I cannot thank them enough for making my wedding such a wonderful experience! -

We hosted our December wedding at Bridge Club, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! We were looking for a low maintenance venue that took care of all the details for us, and we found just that! We didn't have to worry about having 10 different vendors--aside from flowers, the DJ, photographer, and officiant--Bridge Club took care of everything BEAUTIFULLY. Jeramy was so responsive to all of my emails and Kyle, our night of event manager, pulled everything off without a hitch. Our wedding guests are STILL talking about the food (highly recommend the fried chicken with hot honey appetizer and mac and cheese) and how much fun they had on the dancefloor. One thing I'd like to point out is that we had a very high maintenance group for special dietary needs, including several guests with celiac disease. Bridge Club was so accomodating to this and went out of their way to make a gluten free version of the appetizers and sides we served, including the mac and cheese. The only disadvantage to this location is the size. We had a group of 93 and felt it was perfect, but there was definitely a cozy vibe--no large open spaces. Also, if you're looking for lots of customization, this might not be the venue for you. We loved having to do less work, but still have such a unique and stunning result! The venue was gorgeous without needing much decoration and our wedding photos turned out great, despite being an indoor venue. Highly recommend! -

When we began our search for a wedding rehearsal dinner venue, we wanted somewhere that would be unique and truly embody downtown Raleigh, since the majority of our guests were from out of town and our wedding would be in downtown. During our search for a venue, we came across The Bridge Club and were initially very impressed with their responsiveness and willingness to set up a face to face meeting. However, after securing the venue in October, we did not hear back from The Bridge Club until we reached out in March when we inquired about what the next planning steps would be. We were told that the next steps would be food and beverage selection but that the spring menu was not currently available but should be out shortly. This is the email we received at that time, “Yes, it should become available in the next few weeks. I'll reach out and we can set up a time to meet then. Looking forward to working with you both!” Then, we had to reach back out again in mid-May because we still had not heard anything about the spring menu. Since our wedding was in late June, we finally had to contact the venue via phone because we still had not heard anything by late May. The same day the menu was sent to us so we could make our selections. From the time we reached out in early June, the responsiveness was quick. I only gave The Bridge Club 4 stars because they could have done a better job of reaching out before our event to make sure our food and beverage selections were made. Another issue was that you cannot test the menu before making final selections. We were told we could go visit any of their existing restaurants if we wanted to try to menu since the items were taken from those menus. We understand that this creates more work for the kitchen and chef but considering how much our rehearsal dinner cost you would think you could at least insure that you like all the food you chose. The other problem was decorating. A friend who was helping us decorate was told she could not get into the venue to decorate until 1 hour before our event and that there wasn’t a lot of space to work with for decorating. Then we received an email stating that we could come in earlier to decorate after our friend had already talked to the venue coordinator. We ended up being able to decorate the long table with small floral vases on mirrors and the venue provided tea candles. It all ended up looking very nice.
However, with that being said our wedding rehearsal dinner was a success. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The service was great. All of our guests complimented the venue and thought it was a very neat downtown space. The food was also very good. Don't know if the price is worth it though. The venue would’ve received higher praise if they would’ve been more helpful during the planning phase of our rehearsal dinner.
