Jen was incredibly easy to communicate with and she executed my wedding hair and makeup vision without fault. She, and her team of makeup artists, worked on myself, my mother, and my bridesmaids and created a cohesive look while also letting their individuality shine through which is what I wanted from the very beginning. They were a wonderful addition to our special day and I highly recommend them for other couples! -

Versatile and skilled
Jenice did my hair for both my welcome party and wedding and I loved how everything turned out. She was so patient and understanding whenever I wanted to tweak something and made sure I felt completely comfortable with the final look.
She also did all of my bridesmaids’ hair and each style was different and detailed. It really showed how talented and versatile she is. I would absolutely recommend her for any special event! -

Jen was timely with emails and created a schedule for the day of the wedding which helped kept our morning organized and peaceful. I felt absolutely beautiful and so did my bridesmaids. Extremely happy with the bride and Jen team! -

Jen was amazing to work with from scheduling a trial run with hair and makeup to the actual day of the wedding. She is calm throughout the whole process and does amazing work. Jesse, the makeup artist, was just as sweet and nice as Jen. It was only my mother and I getting hair and makeup completed, which is unusual as most companies have a minimum of 4-6 services. I highly recommend Bride and Jen for any special event and wedding! -

Jen and her makeup artist were truly phenomenal to work with! I particularly appreciated that Jen was super flexible with her "minimums" required for purchase, something I realized after research that a lot of other companies are NOT flexible with. As someone who didn't have many bridesmaids who wanted hair or makeup done professionally, this was really important to me! It was a double bonus that she was so efficient AND did a great job. I wanted a full updo and loved that she "specialized" in those kinds of updos, but also does amazing hair when its down as she did for my bridesmaids! The makeup took a bit longer than anticipated (maybe 15-20 minutes) on the wedding day, but it was no problem at all and SO worth the time because I felt like she captured exactly what I wanted, especially as someone who wanted a more natural makeup look. Although driving to West Seattle for my trial was a bit out of the way for me, I really liked that I could book a trial before actually booking wedding services to see if I liked it - a lot of places build in the trial to their booking, but what if you didn't like them ya know? I loved Jen and her makeup artist so it didn't really matter, but the option to do a trial separate definitely gave me some ease when trying to decide who to book. Would 10/10 recommend Bride and Jen to everyone!! -

I loved Jen and Katy! First, I found Bride and Jen and booked a bridal hair and make up trial for my engagement photos. I loved how kind and professional Jen and her team were and it resulted in me officially booking with them ASAP for my wedding date. Due to Covid-19, I had to postpone my wedding twice. Before choosing a new date, I made sure Jen was also available for the possible new wedding dates I had in mind. I wanted to make sure I still had Jen on my special day even with this unpredictable pandemic. Fast forward to my wedding day — I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. You won’t regret hiring them! -

Jen and her team of artists did an amazing job at my wedding. We previously had done a trial back in November of 2019 and I knew I liked her immediately! Her pricing is also very very reasonable. Jen did my hair for the wedding and Katy Ott was my makeup artist. Both were absolutely fantastic. My bridal party at 8 and then additionally had two moms and they did our hair and makeup in a timely manner (actually finished 45 minutes-1 hour early!). Jen created a hair and makeup schedule that flowed from 9am-1pm. Jen also had two assists to help prep all the ladies (one for hair and one for makeup). Her timeliness allowed my husband and I to do first look pictures and get all of our photos done before the ceremony took place so we could enjoy cocktail hour after. My hair and makeup stayed the entire night which was super important to me since I didn't have them stay after to do touch-ups. Jen also didn't use a million bobby pins so it was easy to take out at the end of the night and Katy used amazing products on my skin that really completed my wedding look. I would highly HIGHLY recommend choosing Bride & Jen for your wedding hair and makeup. -

Jen is wildly talented and knowledgeable on hair care for such a wide range of hair types: on my wedding day, she styled my bridal hair with extensions, my sister's very thick hair, my mom's "female alopecia" short and ultra-fine hair, and last minute, she did my niece's updo-braid as an add-on because the other stylist ran short on time! Mind you, all this with about 7 - 10 days notice because COVID cancelled my original plans! My mom's hair has absolutely never looked better than when Jen did it. She still talks about how beautiful she felt that day, and her pride and joy from that experience brings tears to my eyes even now. Jen was so kind, understanding, adaptable, and easy-going -- quite crucial traits for a COVID bride to find in a vendor! Jen, thank you so incredibly much.Bride and Jen's reply:

Jen was amazing! I found her after my first beauty team fell through and I could not have asked for a more perfect match. I felt beautiful after my trial but I felt like a GODDESS on my wedding day. Hiring a wedding hair and makeup service was the best thing I could have done for our wedding! Jen and Katy were amazing to work with. They are both very welcoming and fun women to be around. The trail was a lot of fun! They worked with us during all the changes happening because of COIVD and helped us remain as stress-free as possible during the process. A month before the wedding I switched up how I wanted my hair and Jen effortlessly created the look I was going for on the wedding day! Both Jen and Katy worked with last minute additions and cancellations in my wedding party and helped me stay relaxed throughout the day. I honestly can't say enough about this company! I highly recommend Bride and Jen and plan to use them in the future! -

Jen (and the lovely woman who did my makeup - I forgot your name, I'm so sorry!) absolutely pulled a rabbit out of a hat for me at the last minute. After my previous hair and makeup plans fell through, they were able to come and do hair for my bridal party & makeup for me with something like two days notice. And they did such a stunning job!

I can’t recommend Bride and Jen enough! My girls and I felt and looked beautiful the entire day. Jen is flexible, kind, and delivered exactly what I wanted. I made a last minute request for my hair, and Jen was able to make it happen. She is a magician with her hair tools! Katy is amazing at what she does. Jen was super easy to work with from scheduling the trial to the day of. She was extremely organized (which was great for a Type A bride like me), she listened and paired me with a make up artist that fit my style perfectly (thanks Katy!), and her hair styling abilities are amazing--she truly has a vision that she is able to bring to life, that really seemed to fit everyone perfectly no matter the hair type. -

Jen and her team were so quick, and responsive in the whole process leading up to the day. They took the stress out of getting ready and everyone looked beautiful from 7 am when we started to 11:30 when the day was over! -

Jen was absolutely amazing she did my engagement photo hair and wedding hair. I was referred to a different hair stylist for my wedding but did my hair trial and realized Jen is the only hair stylist I knew I needed to book if I wanted to ensure a good hair day. I was thrilled to hear she was available on my wedding day. She’s professional and very knowledgeable about hair. My hair stayed ALL night. I wanted the elegant Hollywood curls. I had 7 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, my mom and aunt. She brought an assistant with her. -

Pure talent, amazing patience, can't go wrong!!!
I cannot say enough about Jen's creativity and patience in hair styling. I brought a hairpiece to our trial without warning and mentioned I liked flowers that were made using hair, and she whipped up an amazing style in an hour. On the day of, I was so busy doing other things (taking calls, drinking coffee, folding some decorations in my lap, etc.), and she gracefully allowed me to do whatever I needed and didn't get mad when I got distracted and wouldn't hold position. I even had to reschedule my trail and day-of start times, and Jen responded to me super fast and was always flexible. I highly recommend her!!!Bride and Jen's reply:

Jen was the cherry on top of my wedding in making my hair look stunning. Bride and Jen was awesome to work with! Jen did my hair and Katy did my makeup. We did a trial a few months before the wedding, where I had a few adjustments to make for the big day. They totally followed through on the changes, and the day of the wedding went perfectly. Jen sent us a schedule ahead of time and was able to accommodate a last minute swap with no problem. They were on time, professional, and stayed on schedule, and were both super sweet to work with. My mom and mother-in-law also had hair and makeup done, and the team was definitely experienced in working with more mature hair and skin. My look held up for most of the night, despite the humidity. They definitely specialize in a "natural glam" style - not too much or not too little, but enough to take my husband's breath away - thank you!
