I traveled to every bridal shop in western NY to find a mother of the bride dress and hands down the absolute BEST DRESSES are here!! Bridals by D is like no other!! D knows style and she is the sweetest!! I highly recommend seeing for yourself.

Perfect mother-of the-groom dress!

Selection Of Wedding Dress

Bridals By D and I go way back. I got both my junior and senior prom dresses there in the 1990's and of course had to go there for my wedding dress. Denise and Elaine were beyond accommodating and helpful in assisting me to pick out my dream Demetrios dress for my October 17th, 2020 wedding. We customized it and made it a one of a kind! I can't wait to work with them in the future and see it all finished and put together for my big day! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I looked for dresses in 5 cities in both NY and TX before finally finding my dress here. They were able to fully customize my dress taking a strapless dress that I liked and added a high neck in sheer lace, a full back piece in lace that went low, buttons down the back added two feet of train and recommended to cut the satin so it would be just a lace train. I even told them about how I hated scratchy dresses and they cut the sides lower so under my arms it was skin on skin and I didn't get all scratched up. Shear perfection. They helped me with my bridesmaid dresses that looked fabulous on the extremely diverse body shapes of my girls and found a dress that made my mom look absolutely beautiful. They definitely have the experience to help you make good choices.

Bridals by D was such a great wedding dress experience. All the sales people were wonderful and so positive. They made me feel like my best self in every dress I tried on, but at the same time were very honest and helped my choose which dress looked and felt the best for me. I never felt awkward telling them my budget or asking about prices, and they never had me try on a dress out of my price range. I did not need many alterations - but the few I did, went great. I really felt like all the workers really cared about my wedding (even tho I know they hear about so many weddings each day), they made me feel like my wedding was the best - and doesn't every bride want to feel like that!!!
Thank you Bridals by D - I wish it was acceptable to wear my wedding dress every day!

Betty was wonderful to work with! I was nervous going in as I was by myself, didn't have an appointment and our wedding is less then 3 months away! But they graciously welcomed me and I was able to look through dresses as I waited. She was very attentive to what I wanted and what I didn't want and wound up pulling a dress from that back that I absolutely loved. I walked out with my dress that day and couldn't be happier with my experience there!

Wonderful experience at Bridals by D! Elaine was wonderful. She truly listened to what I wanted and put me in a variety of different gowns. She explained what could be done to each dress. Highly recommend!

The staff at Bridals by D were amazing. There were a few glitches in the dress when it arrived but Rosa and Bobby worked many hours and with their efforts and great talent the dress was flawless. I have never seen anything so beautiful. The compliments at the wedding were endless. The dress is described as "Regal".

I am so glad that I went to Bridals by "D"! I went to a couple other places before here and just wasn't finding anything that I truly loved, and while the consultants at the other places were very nice, Betty at Bridals by "D" was simply amazing. She really listened to, and remembered, everything that I wanted, and then put all that info together to find me the perfect dress. It was unlike anything I'd ever seen at the other dress shops! Betty truly cared about finding me "the one" and making sure my dress shopping experience was all around enjoyable.

I could not be happier with my experience at Bridals by "D", or my dress! I asked Betty if I could come visit every week and look at it until mine actually came in (I was only partly kidding). I will definitely be shopping there for bridesmaid dresses and mothers' dresses!

I loved my experience with Bridals by D. Elaine was very patient as my dress needs were a little different from a standard gown. She helped me to find the perfect dress (off the rack, as it was discontinued, so I saved a bundle there!) Rosa's alterations were excellent. Again, she was very patient and listened to what I had to say since I wanted something atypical done with the alterations. Her attention to detail was fantastic, and she even came up with a beautiful idea for straps, when I was disappointed with the traditional version. Turnaround time was outstanding. I highly recommend them!

Denise and her team and Bridals by D were absolutely amazing! After visiting 4 local bridal shops, I walked in feeling disappointed with the selection in Western New York. Denise right away knew my style and the first dress she chose was the dress of my dreams! Rosa the seamstress is an expert as my dress wasn't easy to alter. My entire experience was professional, enjoyable and classy. I would highly recommend Bridals by D. At least 75 people asked me where I purchased my dress at our wedding and one guest even told me I had the 'dress of the century'. Enormous thanks to Denise and her team at Bridals by D. You made me feel like a Queen on the best day of my life.

I was so nervous about shopping for a wedding dress. I did not know what would look flattering on me, if I would be able to find something in my price range. I interacted with this company at a bridal show and thought I would check them out. Making an appointment was easy and they were so attentive. They picked out dresses that I described and after trying on my 3rd dress I found the one. My bridesmaids got their dresses there--so many choices. The seamstress was so kind and did a great job.

I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I loved Bridal by D. They answered all of my questions, made time for me and did not make me feel rushed into choosing a dress. I fact I picked one, and came back a few weeks later to make a final decision. They were open to changes I wanted to make to the dress and even helped to make it happen! The prices was great, and the changes i wanted didn't come at a crazy cost! The seamstress was amazing, she took a beautiful dress and made it look like it was fit specifically for me, leaving the lace on the bottom of the dress in perfect condition!!! I love this bridal shop and would recommend it to anyone!

Everyone there was absolutely fabulous! I got my dress from Elaine- we went in to look and the second dress I tried on I fell in love with! She made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in, and even though I knew I LOVED my dress, I wanted to try on other dresses from other places. I went to do that and they did not have the same comfortable feeling that I got from Bridals by D. We went back that day and I decided on the dress, tried it on again and went from there. I had to get it altered there, and Rosa was amazing, and so is Denise! I love love love them all!!

It was such a wonderful dress buying experience! It a nice atmosphere, a cozy and smaller store with a wide selection. We had Elaine and she was the sweetest person! One flat fee for alterations which was nice because I had multiple fittings. I can't express what a good experience this shop was; love it and would recommend it to anyone buying a wedding dress!

I cannot express enough how much I LOVED Bridals by D! I walked in on a spur of the moment shopping trip with my mom. I had already been to 3 other bridal salons, but couldn't find anything I loved. I tried on several gorgeous dresses (seriously, stunning!) and then I told them how I envisioned myself. When I explained my dream dress to Elaine, she pulled it off the rack and then showed me how it could be modified to be JUST what I wanted! The dress is Casablanca, so it is completely customizable. I am getting a custom dress made exactly for me! Elaine and Denise were SO helpful. The quality of the dresses and the services were the best I had seen.

I found the most stunningly beautiful wedding dress and veil at Bridals by D! Elaine helped me to find exactly what I wanted and made the process very fun! Rosa then did a beautiful job on the alterations, which required recreating very intricate beadwork after the dress was taken in, and ensured that my dress fit perfectly. I received countless compliments on my dress at our wedding! At my first dress fitting, they asked my mother if she had found her dress yet and she hadn't despite many many attempts. They then found her a perfect dress that she loved and ended up ordering that day! I highly recommend Bridals by D!

Bridals by D is an AMAZING bridal boutique with EXCELLENT service!!! My bridal consultant, Elaine, went ABOVE AND BEYOND in helping me find the perfect dress for me!!! My dress alterations were phenomenal! Roza and Tina made my dress fit absolutely perfect!!! My dress was amazing and I felt like a princess bride on my wedding day! :):) I received so many compliments on my very special day! I also ordered my bridesmaids dresses from here and they were beautiful!! My girls absolutely loved them!! They were a hit at my wedding as well, many compliments! :) The staff at Bridals by D is out of this world! All the ladies were just AMAZING and were willing to work with me even when my bridal consultant wasn't there!

Elaine at Bridals by "D" helped me find my dream wedding dress. I was able to call the salon on a Saturday morning and they agreed to have me come in later that afternoon. Elaine listened to preferences and pulled dresses to help me narrow done my options. The dress I finally went with was something I would never have chosen for myself, but once Elaine picked it I couldn't wait to try it on.

After I had purchased the dress and was ready for alterations I worked mostly with Rosa. She was wonderful. She is incredibly sweet, patient, and talented. She was willing to come in at any time on any day to accommodate my schedule. The final result was better then anything I could have dreamed. I couldn't have done it without Elaine and Rosa.

LOVED MY DRESS! Slept in it, in fact :) Wish I could wear it again! The staff were amazing - incredibly knowledgeable and professional. My dress did arrive late after ordering it, but Bridals by D made sure I was in for my fittings in plenty of time for my dress to be perfect by the big day! It fit PERFECTLY and I loved everything about it. I would do business with Bridals by D again in a heart beat :)

I cannot speak highly enough about Bridals By D and the staff there. I worked with Elaine and she was the most helpful and knowledgeable bridal consultant that i came across. I went to ALOT of different bridal shops and was so happy to find this one, i just wish i had found it first! I went to numerous other bridal shops in Buffalo like Alfred Angelo and MA Carr and i cant tell you how disappointed i was with their service and quality of their dresses. The consultants were downright rude at Alfred Angelo and at MA Carr in Orchard Park they didnt seem to care one bit weather i bought there or not as the lady who was supposed to be helping me (who will remain anonymous) was texting on her cell phone most of the time she shouldve been helping me with my dresses!! Complete Disappointment!!!! From the moment i walked into Bridals By D and was greeted by Elaine, everything went PERFECT!! Thank you SOOOOOO much Elaine, Denise and everyone at Bridals By D!! I am soooo happy with my wedding dress and i owe it all to you!!!!

Buffalo brides, don't waste your time going anywhere else when looking for your dress. Bridals by D was my first and only stop. Do yourself a favor and try to get an appointment with Betty -- not that their other associates aren't good, too, but Betty has a real gift for helping women select the perfect dress. I had a blast shopping for my dress and I absolutely love the one I chose (got an outstanding deal on it, too). My mother was my matron of honor and also found a dress that she loved at Bridals by D. They gave me great personal attention and did an outstanding job on the alterations. Their selection was good, they don't try to talk you into anything you don't want, and the owner steams each dress herself. I love this store. Not only would I reccomend it to a friend, but I already have, several times!

Great selection of dresses, great prices and great staff. I barely needed any alterations and neither did my maids, which I'm sure is a testament to their honesty and good "measuring." The few alterations I needed were fairly priced. My dress came in on the timeline they advised and looked amazing. Thanks so much!

I truly enjoyed my experience at Bridals by "D". Sandy did an excellent job listening to my ideas and helped me to create my dream dress by choosing a line that prides itself on being able to make multiple changes to help you design your perfect dress. Sandy's patience and kindness were evident throughout the process. My dress arrived in the timeframe that it was promised and Rosa's alterations were perfect. My sisters, mom and I went into Bridals by D after a disappointing appointment at another bridal salon. It was a Saturday and we did not have an appointment, but they were able to fit us in. We worked with Elaine and she was absolutely wonderful! She asked my budget right away (other places didn't do this, which was pretty annoying) and asked what I was looking for. She picked a dress for me that she said she thought would be great on me, and sure enough it ended up being the one! She was very friendly, patient, and nice to work with. Alterations are one flat cost for everything, which I really liked because I was able to budget for the alterations long before even knowing what all needed to be done. The alterations were done very well - my dress was absolutely beautiful and my bustle stayed up all night with no problems. I received so many compliments on my dress. I would definitely recommend Bridals by D!

Choosing a wedding dress is a really special event. Bridals by D recognizes this and has an amazing staff that really spends time with each bride. Sandy was my consultant and she really listened to what I wanted and we found a beautiful dress. My mom and my aunt were impressed with the service and dress selection as well.
Bridals by D was also very accommodating with my fittings. I had to have surgery, so I need to push the fittings much later than I wanted, but they were very considerate of my needs. I recommend them to every bride I know.

I was extremely satisfied with Bridals By D in my search for a dress. They were very professional and the dresses were very elegant and affordable. It was like a quaint NYC boutique inside with a very large selection of dresses.

I worked with Elaine and she was absolutely wonderful. She knew exactly what dresses to show me and you can tell she loves her job and definitely knows what she is doing. I really didn't have much of an idea walking into shops what I really wanted in a dress, but Elaine definitely helped make me make a great decision on what I was looking for. She was AMAZING!!!

I went to a couple of shops before here and the customer service was NOWHERE near what is was at Bridals By D. They also have the best most beautiful dresses you will find. I cant say that about a few other places I went to.

All I can say is WOW!! I never thought picking out a dress would be so relaxing and simple, no stress at all, beautiful dresses and the most welcoming and amazing staff I have come across. After going to numerous shops including one in Medina Ny and a place called Bridal Chataeu, which by the way had atrocious customer service, and just plain rude staff and even the dress I tried on looked a little dirty, we came across Bridals By D..from the minute we walked in Elaine greeted us with a smile and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. She is truly a wonderful and caring consultant and you can really tell she truly takes a geniune interest in what you are looking for, and is a real breath of fresh air after what I experienced at the last couple
shops I went too. She put me in an amazing dress that couldn't be more beautiful for my big day. Just a truly AMAZING and relaxing stressfree experience, with great high end quality dresses for affordable prices.

This shop was amazing! They found the exact dress that I wanted when I couldn't find it anywhere else. They did a great job with alterations and helping me find the perfect accessories for my dress. I used them for my bridesmaid dresses too. All the women in the shop were amazingly nice and helpful.
If you live in western New York, you must use this dress shop!

Denise (owner) and her staff were very hospitable and helpful. They actually picked my wedding dress out for me based on my style, shape and venue! They were very professional and had a variety of unique dresses to choose from at great prices.

Let's face it, Buffalo doesn't demand the high prices for a wedding dress that someplace like Kleinfeld's in NYC might, but Bridals by D offered such a range of dresses and prices that if you wanted the most affordable dress in Buffalo, you could find it...but if you wanted the highest end dress in Buffalo, you could also find it.

I would like to mention Betty by name, as she spent the time with me to find my dress and was able to help me visualize what MY dress would look like with the sweetheart neckline built in. There is just something about the way she called me "honey" that made me feel easy about being in their store.

I would also like to mention Rosa, the seamstress, by name to thank her for not letting me make the mistake I thought I wanted to make. One of the things I am most proud of is my backside (something my husband is also fond of!) and I wanted to make sure that it was showcased in my wedding dress. After staring at yourself in the mirror in your wedding dress for more than an hour, you begin to make irrational decisions...so thank you Rosa for helping me make a rational decision that allowed me to actually sit on my wedding day in my dress (I had wanted to make it tighter and she wouldn't let me).

I highly recommend going to Bridals by D for the range of styles and prices. It is a great store to start in, but an ever greater store to finish in.

Allowed me multiple visits before I picked one of the first dresses I tried on there, extremely helpful staff and quick appointment times. Loved it there, best quality dresses that I have seen in Buffalo.

They say that when you try on your wedding dress, you just "know" the one for you. This is exactly what happened when I went to Bridals by D. I told them what I wanted, they chose 3 or 4 dresses, and as soon as I put it on, I knew it was for me. They helped me choose the perfect veil, I needed no alterations, and it was absolutely perfect!

Bridals by D provided my wedding gown and also my veil. From the first time I walked in, they catered to me, and I hadn't even decided I was going to buy my dress there. Sandy helped me pick out my dress and she was wonderful. She spent as much time as I needed with all the dresses I put on. I enjoyed the salon because it wasn't cookie cutter and I felt like I mattered as a bride.

The alterations were a maximum $100. I liked this as I went back 4 times and once I paid my $100 I didn't need to pay anymore. Bridals by D prides itself on the fitting and I can assure you that my dress fit perfectly. I loved it and all the ladies at the salon. Now that the wedding is over, it is sad that it is just sitting on a bed in our house - it is that beautiful and I felt beautiful in it. Give them a shot - they aren't the biggest salon but they have great service and are truly wonderful to deal with.

Bridals by D was really good to me. I worked with Rosa, and she was wonderful. It was the first place I went to look, and I found the dress after only trying a few on. They have many dresses at many different price levels, and the price for getting the dress altered is worth the work that goes into it. Rosa was great to work with, she loves her job and she was very helpful and honest. She did a great job, I'd definitely recommend them!

It was an unbelievable experience--I explained what I was looking for and was handed exactly the dress I wanted. The store even helped me design a dress for an 'in-between' junior bridesmaid and helped with clothes for the mother of the bride!

I was pleased to go to Bridals by D for my wedding gown. Betty helped me try on various gowns and I ended up choosing a Justin Alexander gown. Betty was attentive, kind, and honest, providing the best service out of all the bridal stores I shopped at. I did more research into the gown after putting down the deposit and realized the gown was a few seasons old and I could have paid a lower price, which is why I gave a 4.9. However, I was so pleased with the service that it makes up for it.

I absolutely hated dress shopping until I got to Bridals by "D". Most places were so pushy and didn't really listen to what I did and did not want. I didn't like any dress I tried on.

Bridals by "D" changed everything though! I walked in and they were so easy going and not pushy at all! Elaine really listened to my likes and dislikes and pulled 5 dresses that I really LOVED! I couldn't believe it! She was so pleasant and very helpful. She didn't rush me even though I didn't have an appointment.

I went back there to look for my veil and she found the perfect one to match my dress and my style. I'm so thankful to this shop and to Elaine for such wonderful service :)

Great to work with. Elaine was always helpful and friendly. Rosa is a miracle worker when it comes to alterations. My dress was gorgeous! I delayed putting my dress order in and had to call a few times to check up its status as my wedding date came close and everyone was always very helpful. I just wished I could have gotten a call back rather than calling repeatedly. Other than that I would definitely recommend Bridals by D.

Bridals by D is THE place to get your wedding dress if you are in the Western PA/ Downstate NY area! Don't be fooled by the storefront, the salon is much bigger than it appears from the outside. Denise really knows her stuff and she helped me pick out the most gorgeous possible dress I could have ever dreamed of. She carries a wide variety of price points. The biggest advantage to Bridals by D is that they do your measurements "hollow to hem," which means that they measure from your collar bone down to where you want the hem to fall. This is especially useful for petite brides like myself so that your dress maintains the original structure rather than just chopping off the bottom of the dress. Denise really gave me the personal attention I needed to find the perfect dress! Since I was an out of town bride, Denise worked with me to do both of my fittings in one weekend, which was a huge help! And don't get me started on her selection of veils and tiaras! They're all made in NYC. I had a cathedral length and a blusher and people couldn't stop talking about how beautiful they were after the ceremony! I give this salon five out of five for everything except professionalism because of the seamstress. During my first fitting, it was obvious that the dress needed several alterations (all normal) but the only thing offered to me was taking up the hem and then she tried to finish the appointment. In an already stressful situation, it was a blessing that my very detail-oriented mother was there to point out each place that needed to be adjusted. At the second fitting, everything fit perfectly! The seamstress is incredibly talented and I have no doubts about her ability, but just be aware you will need to be upfront about what changes you will want made.

I started off dress-shopping at David's Bridal, because I liked their prices and huge selection. However, the consultant there didn't listen to me at all, even when I kept trying to tell her things. It was a frustrating experience. A few days later, I went to Bridals by D, and had a wonderful experience. The shop was much smaller, and I they listened to what I was looking for. I fell in love with a dress there and bought it. I also used their tailoring service, which was easy and turned out beautifully. My grandma also bought her dress for my wedding there, and had a wonderful experience.

I had a wonderful experience picking out my dress with Betty's help at Bridals by D. It's a small shop but I felt like I received personal attention and tried on a great selection of dresses within my price range. I came in the first time with my future mother-in-law to narrow down the options, and the second time when my mom was able to come with us, Betty had me try on the 4 "finalists" in the perfect order; the last one I tried on was the clear winner. I docked a star for Value simply because I feel like I spent far too much on the veil, but hindsight is 20/20. Flexibility docked 1/2 star because they don't have early/mid-morning hours on Saturdays, so I was unable to show one of my bridesmaids and oldest friend the dress in person when she was in town for 24 hours. Otherwise, all good things. I go in for my first fitting in March 2014, for my late May 2014 wedding.

The only Demetrios shop in Buffalo!

When I discovered that Bridals by D carried Demetrios dresses, I knew that I wouldn't walk into any other bridal salon! Denise, Sandy and the rest of the team were all very sweet and helpful throughout the entire process. They were willing to accomodate my crazy travel schedule by opening early for me and seeing me and my girls numerous times. She carries the best dresses in WNY and I would recommend her to anyone looking for their dream dress!

Found the perfect dress at Bridals by D made all the better by the service and work they put in to make the dress fit just right. Had all the tailoring done in house and they fit, cut off the train, and added straps all to my specifications that really made the dress my own. I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience purchasing my wedding dress here. They worked with my budget pretty well. Most of the employees were friendly and upbeat except one I felt was a little rude. They even resized my dress 2days before my wedding when it didn't fit at no extra cost.

My overall experience was positive and I was very happy with my dress. Betty was my consultant and she was patient and helpful in finding the right dress for me. My gown was perfect and the staff was wonderful! I also purchased all of my jewelery and undergarments and the prices for those were great! Rosa makes all of the jewlery and made me a custom braclet to go with the necklace I picked out. The jewlery was beautiful! That being said I'm pretty sure I overpaid for my "alterations" as the only thing I needed was a bustle. The length and fit was perfect. They have a flat rate for all alterations which is great if you need a lot of work done on your dress but I did not. The bustle was beautiful, I have been to so many weddings where the bustle was hard to do and fell. Mine was color coded, took 5 mins for my girls to do and did not move! I was also a little surprised that they wouldn't match on bridesmaid dresses. Instead of matching the price and selling 6 dresses they lost out.

Bridals by D is a lovely little boutique bridal salon! They have a very nice selection of gowns and were very pleasant to work with. They made me feel welcome and comfortable. They were very accommodating and respectful of my desires for a dress, and did not try to steer me into something completely different than what I was looking for. Although I had some concerns about the alterations after the first and second fitting and needed to be a bit firm when it was not acceptable, in the end, my dress fit perfectly!

My dress was gorgeous, and I was able to do a lot of customizing, which I greatly appreciated. My initial appointment was great, but the service once I had ordered my dress was a bit lacking. They can be difficult to get a hold of, and I did feel at times they were somewhat snobby about things. I would recommend because their selection is great, but I think they could work on returning phone calls in a timely manner and when someone shows up in workout gear because they're trying to sign off on their dress right after being at the gym, maybe not seem so disgusted.

While I love the dress I got through Bridal by D's, the overall experience was a "meh" experience. They never explained anything that was going on, always just seemed to expect that I knew. For my fitting, they weren't actually ready until an hour after my appointment time. The day I went to pick up my dress, I was standing around for quite awhile before someone came out of their back room to help me.

Positive notes: Their packaging for my dress when I picked it up was top notch. I bought a sample dress and you never would have known that multiple people had tried on the dress before me.

I am very disappointed to be writing a poor review for this company. I LOVE(D) my dress; and although the wedding was nearly a month ago, I'm STILL getting compliments about the dress. It was certainly a very memorable and beautiful dress. It was the attitude of ONE staff member that I was disappointing with and the reason for a low rating. Elaine was incredibly rude and ruined my experience. Specifically: she joked at my expense on my second visit and treated others who were still shopping for their dress better than me after I had bought the dress. It was almost as if "she bought the dress, we already have her business, let's not pay attention to her anymore". Not to mention my mother and my 5 bridesmaids also bought their dressed through this store. Although I spent such a large amount on my dress and my entire bridal party spent money--I often thought about starting over with a completely different boutique. It took a lot of coaxing from my family to continue doing business with a company that would employ a worker as poorly motivated at Elaine.

I was married a few months ago, and the dress was the first thing I found that started my wedding planning process. The owner, Denise is wonderful. She was my consultant and I found my dress after trying on maybe 4. Loved my dress. It was a little plain so I wanted to add a belt, very expensive, but worth it. Now comes to the tricky part. Apparently sewing the belt on the dress wasn't as easy as I had thought.the seamstress Rosa was not good. She pinned the belt on crooked, and argued with me that it was straight. I finally got her to say she would fix it before she sewed it, so I felt a little better. As I'm putting on my gown, I could tell it was a little off. The belt was centered as I had wished, but it was still crooked! And that was all I could look at. I obsessed over it while getting ready, and it really ruined that process. Something so simple should have been perfect.rosa also altered my bridesmaids dresses, who ALL had issues. As well as my mother, aunt and grandmother. This isn't something you want to deal with coming up to your wedding date. I wish we took the dresses elsewhere. It was expensive too. My dress fit perfect, she trimmed, with scissors, about a quarter of an inch off the bottom of my dress (netting) and it was $250!! That and a crooked belt is what I paid for! I feel badly because everyone else was great at the bridal salon, but I can't recommend you to get anything fitted or altered there. Also, I know my dress that cost thousands of dollars came in a nice dress bag. It had to! And I was given it in a cheesy pink paper like garment bag. Obviously not the bag it came in! That was pretty upsetting as well. Also, my veil was cathedral style, and it took my family an entire hour to try and bustle it. And I hated it!!! We were later told the seamstress is supposed to make loops for you so it is simple to do. They gave us 2 huge pins to work with. I wish I didn't buy the veil at all because it was such a hassle.

Nice quaint smaller wedding boutique. The first two times I went in, the staff must have been in the back room. Although I heard a bell when I walked through the door, no one ever came out to help me on either occasion. I had my eye on a dress, so I kept coming back, and on my third visit someone happened to walk out and seemed surprised to see me standing there. She said they hadn't heard the bell. Found the dress I liked, and it needed a little bit of alteration. Their alterations seemed pricey, but it turned out great. My dress ended up being on sale, so that was good. I had a pretty good experience with them.

Let me start off by saying - I don't normally give bad reviews and I am not that hard to please however - I would highly suggest not walking but running away from here....you may have some positives throughout the experience but the stress is not worth it - if you find a dress you love her - order it somewhere else...More problems than I have characters allowed to write this review.

Poor communication - didn't get my dress until week before my wedding and the alternations that they make sure pay for there - were horrible - I had to take it to another tailor to fix my dress - don't bother

Terrible customer service. They took my measurements over the phone and ordered a size 12 dress for me. I am normally a size 6. They refused accept any responsibility or exchange to order a new size. Good thing I have my own sewing machine.

"If I refunded every customer who decided they didn't like their dress, as a small business owner I would be out of business quickly." -Bridals by D. We recently had a horrible experience with Bridals by D in Williamsville where, long story short, my mother ordered a dress for my wedding that the manufacturer had in the warehouse and when it came in it was a totally different color (bright gold vs champagne) and the dress itself didn't look like the picture. After several attempts to try and return, the owner refused to let us return the dress. She treated us very poorly and I do not want this to happen to anyone else!

This is the WORST bridal shop in Buffalo. I had been to several shops before going to Bridal by D so by the time I went there I had a good idea of what I was looking for. My consultant was Denise who is also the owner. She asked what kind of dress I liked and I told her fit and flare with lace. She showed me a couple that looked ok but definitely not exactly what I wanted. I said I didn't like a few and she got mad that I didn't like them and demanded I try them on. I didn't want to because I knew at this point which silhouette I wanted but she made me put them on anyways. None of the dresses seemed to be of high quality. They looked cheap but I'm sure they were not. As I was trying on gowns Denise insulted my body several times saying how I didn't look good in fit and flare and that she couldn't even get them on me. I'm not big by any means but I have an hourglass figure. I also have extremely poor self confidence so I felt like crying when she said that but tried to shrug it off. She put me in a ball gown which I did not want and I told her that I didn't like it because I wanted a slim silhouette. She then told me in a poor attitude that we were done here, I must have already found my gown somewhere else. I was shocked as we were only 30 minutes into my 1 hr and a half appointment and she was basically kicking us out. She asked what my favorite dress at the other shop looked like. I explained if as a fit and flare with lace and she made one more jab at me as we we're leaving. She said "well your body doesn't look good in the fit and flare and the others looked better on you" So rude!!! No girl should leave a bridal shop in tears but I certainly did. Don't go to Bridal by D Save yourself the time of endless insults and go to other local bridal salons that will make you feel special and have quality gowns.
