Goli is the best!!

Absolutely loved working with Goli for our wedding. I wasn't able to do a trial because of Covid, but Goli delivered hair and makeup even better than I could have imagined! My mom and sister were really pleased too. And she was just wonderful to spend the day with :-). Thank you Goli!

Perfect hair and makeup!

Goli is amazing! I had her do my hair and make up for 2 different weddings and would definitely hire her again. My friends have already asked for her info for future events. She was able to accommodate each of my bridesmaids hair types and preferences and made sure each was unique and beautiful. I do not love looking like I have a lot of makeup on and she did an amazing job making sure I looked natural, yet perfect. My mom and aunt both asked for her to do their hair again for the second event after seeing her work the first day, and she was able to accommodate doing them as well. 10/10 recommend

Fabulous look by Goli

I highly recommend Goli. I was able to meet with Goli and try out a couple hairstyles and figure out the color palette for my makeup. As there were five of us getting our makeup and hair done, Goli was able to work on our fabulous looks at the venue, which was very convenient. Everyone looked amazing. Our hair and makeup looked amazing from the ceremony and after hours of dancing.

On time and quick!

Goli and her assistant were great! She showed up 15 min early to set up and was able to complete the bride’s hair and makeup, 5 bridesmaid’s hair and makeup and two makeup-only applications. We were all ready in time! One of the bridesmaids lashes fell off after a few hours which was disappointing but the rest of the makeup stayed on until the end of the night. Hair styled in place for everyone even after a night full of dancing. Would recommend!

Goli Bridal - Great Experience

My daughter got married on 5/17/19. Goli came to my house to do the hair styles for her bridal party as well as the mother of the bride. Goli did an amazing job. The bridal party looked fabulous. She was a delight to talk with and is very experienced in working with hair. I would highly recommend Goli to any bride getting married. Thank you Goli!

Excellent Stylist

Goli was a pleasure to work with, both before my son's wedding as plans kept changing and during the day of the affair. She was attentive to detail for both make up and hair that she did for a bunch of us. Goli worked closely with each one of us to provide the end result we wanted to achieve, including various hair styles and types of makeup. Great job and I highly recommend her!

Goli did a beautiful job on my makeup. I felt beautiful on my wedding day. She also did my bridesmaids hair, flower girls hair, mothers and mother in laws make up. I’m so happy that I found someone so flexible and so creative!

My wedding day was beautiful! One of the most beautiful days of my life! Hair and make up for sure had a important part. Everyone said that day that I was a beautiful bride. Goli did a wonderful work. A beautiful elegant makeup that lasted all day, plus beautiful elegant low up-do for my hair. She is very kind and easy to connect with. She made every body in my wedding party who did their hair and make up with her, so comfortable and at ease. We finished right on time.

I had a make up trial with Goli before the wedding, and then had my hair and make up done on the day of the wedding day, my bridesmaid and mum also had hair done by Goli and we were all really happy with the outcome! I told Goli I didn't want make up caked on my face as I'm not used to wearing so much make up and she did a great job, but best of all was my hair, I absolutely loved it!! On the day of the wedding, Goli got to the venue early to set up and was very meticulous throughout, and was really easy to work with - got to thank our photographer Parmiss for recommending her :)

I booked Goli as the hairstylist for my wedding. She did an amazing job and was wonderful to work with. She styled my hair exactly how I asked and made me feel relaxed the whole time. She also styled the hair of my bridesmaids and several other women at my wedding, they were all happy with how their hair came out. I highly recommend Goli's service, she is great.

After a few hair and makeup trial mishaps with other vendors, I was referred to Goli and was so pleased of how accommodating she was to fit me in for a trial fairly last minute - our wedding was only a few short weeks away at the time. She listened to what I wanted, and did a phenomenal job on my hair and makeup. Goli is professional and was on time and ahead of schedule the day of our wedding. I would highly recommend her!

Goli is absolutely fabulous. She did a beautiful job with everyone's hair and she is a lovely person. I cannot say enough good things about her and her work. I am certain she will leave every client looking and feeling like a million bucks. On top of doing incredible work, her pricing is extremely competitive - I can't imagine that there is a better option available. She is very thoughtful and matched everyone's hair to the style of their dress and somehow, she even seemed to pull through our personalities in our hair styles...it was truly incredible. My sister and I received so many compliments on our hair and I was thrilled to share that Goli was the artist. I even have a friend who is getting married who requested Goli's info for her wedding. Goli provides makeup services as well - unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to book her makeup services but I would trust her in a heartbeat to do my makeup - she is truly an artist. Thank you Goli for making me and my family and friends look beautiful!

Goli did hair for myself and all of my bridesmaids and I couldn't be happier! As soon as we started, all of my stress melted away! She was punctual, professional, and most of all extremely patient and accommodating (which is important when you're as picky as me). We all looked beautiful and stayed that way all night through the festivities. Highly recommend!

Goli did my hair and makeup for my 10th anniversary vow renewal ceremony. She was professional, on time, polite, and incredibly sweet! I absolutely loved how my hair and makeup turned out! She listened to what I wanted and created for me the look that I wanted. Every one of my guests complimented me on my hair and makeup and asked who did it, and I happily told them. If you want someone who truly knows what she is doing on your wedding and have one of the most stress free times every! then get Goli to do your hair & make up not just for yourself but your wedding party as well.! She was on time, professional and so fun to be around as well. She knew exactly what I wanted and was so open minded to what the wedding party wanted as well! Her prices are extremely reasonable as well. My hair and make up lasted me all night long with a lot and I mean A LOT of dancing! I wouldn't even give it a second thought I would use Goli again and again for everything!

Goli and her team are amazing!! I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a hair/makeup artist who is patient, flexible, and extremely talented at creating a wide variety of looks. Myself, my mom, and my sister/maid of honor all have very fine, flat hair but Goli somehow managed to make it look like we had tons of volume. The end result was very classic and tasteful, and I got comments all night about my hair. Her makeup was also beautiful- not too harsh or cakey, which had been a problem with other makeup artists I had worked with. Aside from her artistry, Goli was also very punctual, sweet, and easy to work with. Her prices are a lot more reasonable than many others in the DC area too. Overall, Goli was one of my favorite vendors and one that I would definitely work with again. In fact, my wedding was my second time working with her- she had done my sister's wedding as well and did such a great job that when it came time for mine it was a no-brainer :)

On my wedding day, she arrived early, was very well prepared, and managed to do my bridesmaids' hairs as well in such a short timeframe. And above all, she did a really great job! I cannot say enough good things about working with Goli! She was so great to work with! I did bridal portraits in May ahead of my September wedding, and Goli made time during a weekday to do my hair and makeup for that session. She was so pleasant and did a wonderful job! I love how she styled in my hair in a beautiful, elaborate up-do that didn't distract from my makeup or dress. My hair and makeup looked terrific and lasted hours beyond that session! For my wedding day, Goli did just hair for my two bridesmaids and me. She did long loose curls for my sister and a beautiful up-do for my sister-in-law. She was incredibly patient in all the rotating between hair and make-up. She was truly a calming presence during a very chaotic morning. And again, the look lasted for hours -- I never once worried about touching up my hair during the photos, ceremony, reception, and beyond. I would add that she was very responsive to emails as we planned everything out. Overall thrilled with the results, and I hope you will hire her too!!

I had Goli do both mine and my bridesmaids hair and make up for the wedding and she absolutely did a fantastic job!!! I'm very picky when it comes to my make up and wanted to have a natural look and feel like me for my wedding! I had gone to a lot of trials and still wasn't happy until I met Goli. She knew exactly what I was looking for the first time we met and she made me look very beautiful but at the same time natural. I was very confident and felt very relaxed the day of my wedding. My make up and hair looked amazing both in person and in pictures. She really made me feel like a princess! She is easy to work with and her calm personality helped me a lot the day of my wedding. It was very convenient having one person do both my hair and make up. Goli and her assistant got to the hotel on time and managed to have hair and make up done for me and my 8 bridesmaids on time for pictures. I highly recommend Goli to any picky bride who is looking to have an elegant, classy and beautiful look!!

I really enjoyed working with Goli. My hair and makeup for my wedding was perfect and she did a fabulous job on my mom and bridesmaids as well. Because of our experience with Goli, we now refer to something as "Goli" when it is amazing. She was super flexible with us as we were trying to figure out how many girls wanted their hair done and where we wanted her to work on us. She was even able to add one of my girls the day of the wedding and did my flower girl's hair spontaneously. I had had a terrible hair trial that left me in tears before I found Goli. She listened to what I wanted and made me my own unique style. Some of the girls had no idea what they wanted, so she gave some of her own ideas and they ended up looking stunning. I thoroughly believe that no one else could have made us as happy with our hair as Goli did. I recommend her to everyone now!!!

Goli did hair and makeup for my sister and we were so happy that I had to have her at my wedding too! She was on time, and ready to go. Very professional and personable. Goli was very attentive to my style. Also, the trial was very valuable. I found out I was allergic to the adhesive for the lashes. She highly recommended that I get the trial session because of things like this. During my big day, she made my lashes and everything else beautiful. So glad she was part of my big day.

Goli was fantastic throughout the whole process: She was incredibly prompt about answering email, on time and ready on the day of, and worked incredibly efficiently on hair and make up for four bridesmaids, two moms, and me, and did a fantastic job on our hair and make up. I was worried my makeup, which was done in early afternoon wouldn't last through outdoor pictures, the ceremony, and the reception, but it did, and it looked great. I also have very curly hair, and she was the only stylist who a) didn't want to straighten it and b) make it look fantastic. Multiple people said I looked 'ethereal,' which is a pretty great compliment. Definitely would recommend her to anyone who needs a makeup/hair artist for any event.

Amazing amazing amazing. I can't think of a better word to describe Goli and the services she provided to my bridesmaids and I on my wedding day. She arrived right on time on the day of and got right to work. She was always so friendly and professional to my girls as we took turns having Goli work her magic with our hair and makeup. Not only was she able to finish ahead of schedule, but she made sure to go back to each girl and touch up any bits of hair that came unpinned or makeup that got smudged. The end result had us looking and feeling like rock stars when it came time to walk down the aisle and party the night away.

A few other helpful tidbits: she offers a reasonable price for the hair/makeup trial run. She keeps you in the loop of how you need to prepare for the day of her wedding services (what time she'll arrive, proper room setup, preparation the night before, ect.) She was always so quick to respond to any questions I had. I would recommend Goli to anyone 1,000 times and more!

Goli was heaven sent on my wedding day!!!! She came recommended by a friend so I contracted with her to come and do my bridesmaids hair. My hair was being done by my regular hair stylist as a wedding gift. Even though I think very highly of my regular hair stylist and had a practice run with her, my hair looked horrible when she finished. Goli immediately noticed and polietly offered to redo my hair (once the other hairstylist had left) and thank God she did!!!! What she did looked great and I received numerous compliments. Goli and her assistant were beyond professional, kind and patient.

Goli was incredible to work with! She worked with my schedule to plan my hair and make up trial outside her normal hours. She worked magic with my hair makeup, and all my bridesmaid's makeups. I felt like a princess on my wedding day thanks to Goli!
Let me start by saying that I'm almost 51 and very particular about my hair and makeup. I wanted to look youthful and radiant on my special day (of course!) but still look like me. I've had my hair and makeup done by other professionals and have had to go home to wash everything off because I was so dissatisfied. They'd pile on the layers of makeup and I'd end up looking freakish and even older. This was not at all the case with Goli. First of all she's a delight to deal with, so pleasant and flexible but also very professional and reliable. On my wedding day, she arrived early, just to be sure she didn't get lost. I CAN'T EXPRESS HOW MUCH I APPRECIATED THAT!! During my trial, we had discussed what I liked and didn't like and she was very knowledgeable and made recommendations but was in no way pushy or controlling. Goli listens, puts in 110% effort and is completely focused on making her brides beautiful and happy. I can honestly say that she gave me the look I had hoped and dreamed of and there is nothing I would've changed…and I'm not one to say this sort of thing often! I look forward to working with Goli again the next time I have a formal occasion.

Goli is a very talented hair stylist and makeup artist. She did a fabulous job on my hair for my wedding. I sent her photos of hair styles that I liked and she did exactly what I wanted. Goli also did my makeup. She had great suggestions for the makeup color appropriate for the season which I really liked. She is such a genuine and nice person to work with. Her prices are also very reasonable.

So happy with Goli! Goli was recommended to me by the mother of one of my students. I am so glad I booked her. It was a very big decision and I know I made the right one! I did one trial for hair and two trials for make-up and she really got to know me and wanted me to be happy and look my best on my special day. The morning of the wedding went very smoothly and I loved how everything turned out. I got so many compliments that day (and am still getting compliments three months later) and I love how I look in photos as well. She also did make-up and hair for the bridesmaids and two mothers and they also looked stunning. One has long hair and the others short hair so she really can diversify what she does. Goli is a true professional and just a really caring person who is excellent at working with all types of brides, tastes and styles. I had my bridal makeup and hair done by Goli and I absolutely loved my hairdo and make up. I did a hair and makeup trial couple of months prior to the wedding, but it was really NOT needed. On my wedding day, she showed up super early, set up and started on time. She is such an artist, professional and fast. She did my grand mother, mom, and sister's hair and they loved their hair too. If you want to be free of stress on your wedding day, I highly recommend Goli for your hair and makeup.

I have had two wonderful experiences with Goli. The first time Goli did my hair was for a wedding I was going to. She put my hair in a very elegant side-do. She was very quick with her hands and did my hair as well as two other girls in about an hour and everyone was extremely happy with the outcome.

I also went to Goli to fix a bad ombre job that another stylist had done. She listened to what I want. Patiently looked at all of the pictures I showed her. And really made it so easy to talk to her comfortably and explain in detail how I wanted the color. Needless to say, it came out exactly how I wanted. Aside from being a very talented hair stylist, she is extremely personable and works with you to make you happy with your hair. I would recommend Goli to anyone!

I had my bridal makeup and hair done by Goli. It was very easy to go to her home salon to have my trials completed as her schedule was very flexible. Goli's prices are also very reasonable. She even did my makeup trial for my engagement photos. She is very friendly and warm and gave me the exact look I wanted for my wedding day. I received many complements, and she made me really feel beautiful. Goli also did up-dos (lower buns, because I had a high bun) on all 8 of my bridesmaids and my mom's hair and makeup. She came to the hotel where I was getting married with her assistant on time and stayed until all the girls were done and happy. Goli did all the up-dos, however she brought an assistant to set and curl the hair. With me and 8 bridesmaids and my mom, it maybe would have been helpful to bring one more assistant that could do up-do's because I think some of my girls hair was done a little later then anticipate. Our wedding did not start until later, 4:30pm, so we had time, but if the wedding is earlier in the day, I would request another assistant.

I would highly recommend Goli for wedding hair and makeup! We did a hair and makeup trial a couple months prior to the wedding, but it really was not needed. Goli is very experienced and truly an artist! My bridesmaids and Mother looked absolutely beautiful. I am grateful that Goli drove to Culpeper, VA to do our hair and makeup at the site of the wedding ceremony. All beauty preparations ran smoothly and I was able to relax before the wedding!

I usually never write reviews but I had to about Goli .She did such an amazing job on my hair and my bridesmaids. We had unexpected person for hair and makeup but she handled all with style and grace. She is a total perfectionist and won't be happy until you are. She's an absolute joy to work with and so fun to have around on the big day. You'd be crazy not to book her.

Goli did my hair and make up for my wedding. I had booked hair and make up with another stylist. However she decided to increase her rate by $250.00 two weeks before the wedding. I was very frustrated with their lack of concern and greediness also my aunt was paying for my hair and make up as a wedding gift and I could not ask her to pay extra $250.00.

So I canceled them and right after I had a panic attack. What was I going to do?! The thought of walking down the aisle with no make up and undone hair put me in tears. I called my sister in-law to vent out about the situation and also ask for her help. She said she will ask her best friend who had got married recently if she know anyone.
In less than an hour, she text me with Goli's e-mail and phone number. She also said that her friend absolutely adores Goli and I should be happy that it did not work out with the other stylist.

I called Goli and as soon as I talked to her I was excited to meet her. She was so Sweet and professional over the phone. Thankfully, she was able to see me the next evening for trial of hair and make up.

I Loved her work!!!

On my wedding day, she showed up on time. She did my hair exactly the same as the picture that I had shared with her and more importantly my hair and make up Stayed Put for the whole night :-) I got lots of compliment about my hair and make up and I look great in my wedding pictures. Since my wedding, my maid of honor as well as my co-worker did their hair and make up with Goli for their weddings.

It was wonderful to work with Bridal Hair & Makeup by Goli. From the initial contact, through my trial, and on my wedding day, Goli was such a delight and provided me with amazing results. She provided hair and makeup for myself, and some of my family members the day of my wedding. She did an amazing job on everyone! Goli and her assistant were a pleasure to work with on my wedding day! Goli was incredibly professional and easy to work with - she arrived early, spent all morning with myself and my bridesmaids - not leaving until everyone was perfectly ready and happy with their hair and makeup, including last minute touch-ups. She worked on the mothers of the bride and groom, 5 bridesmaids, and myself - and managed to keep us all calm and happy and on track with timing. Everyone looked beautiful and natural - not just at the beginning of the night but by the end as well. Everyone's hair and makeup held up beautifully! My mom’s hair stylist actually recommended us to Goli, since I was looking for an on-site bridal hair and makeup artist. I was nervous going with a stylist with whom I had little rapport, but I was very pleased with Goli’s work. We did a trial in her home and it was very relaxed. She accommodated my specific requests (more neutral makeup and no false eyelashes, since I don’t normally wear any makeup). I had no idea what I wanted to do for hair prior to meeting her, but after the trial I decided I wanted to do an up-do for the ceremony and then take the pins out and do loose curls for the reception. The day of my wedding, Goli arrived early and was already set-up waiting for me when I arrived! The end result of her work was amazing. When I show people pictures from the wedding, they comment that I look like a movie star, and it’s all thanks to Goli. I cannot say enough positive about her work, and will jump at the chance to recommend her to any other brides I come across! Thank you, Goli!

Goli did my hair and 5 other girls' hair for my wedding. The main reason I chose Goli in the beginning is because she came onsite and her prices are very reasonable but I soon found out that her work is amazing as well. I showed her a few pictures of the hairstyle I wanted and she was able to do something similar and very quickly.

She is very professional, nice and when we added the 5th girl to the list last minute she was able to squeeze her in with no problems.

If you are in the NoVa area I would highly recommend Goli for your wedding hair.

I loved working with Goli! I ended up looking for a hair/make-up stylist a little late in the game and Goli was more than accommodating for my crazy schedule in the two weeks before the wedding. She was willing to start early in the morning to get all my bridesmaids done and was even able to cope with a power outage at the venue while styling one of them! She is very attentive to your ideas and preferences and was more than willing to adjust my look the day-of to get it just right! I would highly recommend her!

Goli made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day! She is very talented and was able to create a very elegant, yet natural, look based on my general ideas. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but she was still able to create it! She also provided fake eyelashes (which I was hesitant to wear, but she did a great job) and some beautiful hair clips that added just the right touch. Goli's prices are pretty reasonable in comparison to comparable vendors in the Washington, DC area. Best of all, she is willing to travel to you for a modest fee. She even arrived at my venue a little early, which was especially nice. I highly recommend Goli for any wedding or special occasion hair and makeup!

Goli was wonderful to work with and so sweet. She knows exactly what she is doing, and can do hair & make-up for all different skin tones and hair types. I have dark hair, an olive complexion, and she made my hair & make-up look so beautiful! She also did an amazing job on my bridesmaids (who ranged from long, thick blonde hair to short think brown hair).

She comes to you, but does not charge outrageous prices for the flexibility!

Reasonable charges. She charges a traveling fee. I had a separate makeup artist and Goli only did the hair for the bridal party. I liked my hair but I wish I had something going on in the front like bangs or face framing layers. My sister didn't like how her hair came out. Could have been miscommunication or the lack of it between us and her. I know she is good at what she does I saw her work in her photos. Just be sure to explain what you want exactly and don't be afraid to speak up. It is your day after all.

Goli was wonderful! She was great at listening- both during my trial and the day of. We did a few different styles during the trial, and she was so patient as I tried to figure out what to do. The day of, after finishing one of my bridesmaid's hair, the bridesmaid wasn't completely happy. Goli had her sit right back down, and tweaked it until it was perfect. She also helped out with my makeup, even though she wasn't hired for it! Go with Goli if you'd like great hair for all your bridal party :)
