I cannot recommend Michelle highly enough! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. I have never received so many compliments on my makeup—it was timeless, beautifully executed, and lasted flawlessly throughout the entire day. Not to mention, she was such a fun addition chatting away with us girls :)
One of the most meaningful moments for me was hearing my mom repeatedly talk about how pretty she felt. She made us feel confident, comfortable, and genuinely beautiful on such an important day. I am so grateful for her artistry and professionalism and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any bride. -

Michelle did the makeup for my wedding and I could not have been happier! She understood what I wanted, and completely nailed it. (We were a big group and she brought a second MUA with her, who was also amazing!) Everyone absolutely loved their makeup, and we all looked flawless all day and night. There were lots of tears and sweaty dancing, and not one smear.
She was also super easy to work with, very responsive, and transparent about pricing, timing, etc. Lastly, she was just a pleasure to be around throughout the day. Michelle is so relaxed, and that's what you need there are dozens of people swarming you and asking questions all day. When I got in the makeup chair, it was the opposite. She knew exactly what to do, and finally I had no more decisions to make!
If you're wondering whether to book her for your wedding, the answer is: don't think twice about it. -

Michelle was a total joy to work with from start to finish. We met a few months before the wedding at her home for a makeup trial; I was enthusiastic about the look she created but requested a few modifications, which she graciously incorporated. We went for an understated, natural look that made me feel like the best version of myself. On the day of the wedding Michelle was calm, collected, and professional, and helped me to feel centered in the middle of the storm of activity. I was very happy with how my makeup turned out! I highly recommend working with Michelle. -

Michelle was an exceptional makeup artist for my wedding! Not only did she do a lovely job with my bridal makeup (which lasted all night) she crushed it with my giant wedding party. Aside from makeup, she became a huge source of calm throughout the wedding. Not only did she make sure my makeup was good to go, she helped me with my tiara, veil, and entrance, even chasing a random loose dog down the aisle when a non guest let them off the leash near by. I couldn’t be more grateful to Michelle! And in the wedding photos you can really tell the makeup was high quality. Me and all of my bridesmaids were thrilled. You can’t pick a better makeup artist for your day! -

Michelle is a pro — she’s worked for years with some of the biggest names in fashion —and it shows: she’s a calming presence, a clear and proactive communicator, flexible and accommodating, and she sent me (and my sister) off to my wedding with subtle, beautiful makeup that didn’t budge all night. You will feel like a model backstage or celeb getting the red carpet treatment. It was beyond flawless for everyone in my party, each with different skin textures and ages. If you’re looking to hire a makeup artist for your wedding or another event, look no further! Michelle is wonderful — responsive, kind, talented and easy to work with in every way. I’m not a person who wears makeup normally and she did an amazing job of making me feel beautiful and natural on my wedding day. She also did my mom and sister’s makeup and everyone looked amazing! Michelle has the perfect energy for the day-of frenzy, she was on-time, calm, professional, warm and had us all looking gorgeous and ready in time for our photos. I am obsessed with Michelle and would recommend her for any event that's important to you. Michelle did my wedding makeup and I have never felt more beautiful. What's best about her technique is that she does not do a cookie-cutter bridal makeup situation - her expertise in haute couture and editorial inform her aesthetic, and she really pays attention to the whole look you are going for, and to the unique aspects of your face. She somehow managed to make me look natural and airbrushed at the same time - quite a feat. She's brilliant.
She seamlessly transitioned through a variety of complexions -- I had specifically asked about this in advance, since some makeup artists have less range and can make darker skin tones look chalky. Not Michelle - she is 10's across the board and everyone she worked on looked stunning. Michelle not only did my makeup but also my mother-in-law's, my mother and my 2 best friends, all of whom said they've never had better makeup. To quote my mom, "I look like myself but so much better." Those who hadn't opted to get their makeup done ended up regretting that decision when they saw Michelle's work.
I got married on a 95-degree June day and I usually sweat like crazy. Michelle somehow managed to do my makeup in such a way that I was mattified the entire time and never had to worry about my face. It was a true dream.
I did two trials with Michelle leading up to the wedding because I am a crazy person and super picky about makeup (I didn't want to have it done professionally but my friends told me it was a must - they were right) and she patiently worked with me until we got the look just right.
Aside from her unparalleled makeup technique, Michelle has a calming presence, and she's just a great energy to be around. She was the first to arrive in my bridal suite that day and it was honestly so comforting to see her and hang out with her for a bit before things got rolling.
If I ever have a chance to get my makeup done again, Michelle will be the one I call. I can't recommend her highly enough! -

Michelle was absolutely fantastic for our big day. She did makeup for me (the bride), my mom and my sister and was phenomenal. We all loved our makeup, my sister loved hers so much she had to be talked in to washing her face at the end of the night - she didn't want to take it off! Michelle's expertise made it so I looked natural while I was also done up and photo ready. She was prompt, communicative, organized and an absolute professional. As a makeup artist myself, I always intended on doing my own makeup. But as the day approached I realized I wanted to relax and be pampered for a change. Michelle was the best for my wedding day. She created just what I wanted..a very natural glam look and accentuated my eyes without looking too made up or cakey. She made me feel very natural and beautiful in my own skin. We got married on an unusually warm and foggy mid-dec day and the makeup lasted all day. I am very picky about my make-up and it took me 3 different makeup artists before I stumbled upon this gem. Thanks for taking part in our special day Michelle! Amazing! Flawless Makeup for My Wedding Day!
I wish I could rate Michelle higher than a 5! My wedding makeup was FLAWLESS. It was natural and perfect and exactly everything I wanted. It also stayed on perfectly all day and night - even through windy outdoor photos. She did my family’s makeup as well and everyone looked gorgeous. You will not be disappointed! -

I reached out to Michelle about a week before my wedding to see if she was available to do a trial and for our wedding. She was and it was a fairy tale from there! We were having a small intimate wedding with no bridal party but I wanted my family and closer friends to have make up for the photos (about 6 people).
Michelle was very responsive and a breath of fresh air she is professional, knowledgeable and experienced. She brings calm efficiency and teamwork to a wedding day. I wanted a mellow and calm experience with family and friends. Michelle fit in so well with the hair dresser, photographer and most importantly she put the family matriarchs at ease that they would look lovely for the photos and day.
Michelle took her time and listened to what each person would like for make up. She made everyone feel heard and no one feel overdone which was very important. Michelle is able to work with folks of every skin tone which was important to me so that everyone was included and looked their beautiful. She had products which worked even on the most sensitive skinned people. She has a whole kit that is very thoroughly stocked and was very prepared for the wedding day. She arrived a few minutes early to set up and had laid out a time table for me to communicate to my family as to who was getting their make up done at what time. She coordinated this with the photographer's timetable which was very helpful!
My make up was perfect for the full day including photos which was about 12 hours total. I did not have anything that needed any touch ups the whole night including after a lot of dancing.
From the make up trial onward, I knew Michelle would be a great fit. She nailed the make up look first time on the trial. She also advised of a few specific items before the wedding to prepare my face as my sensitive skin was a bit dry and off. Her suggestions worked very well!
Michelle is the person to use if you are looking for a calm team player who creates wedding day make up that amplifies one's natural beauty and coloring for photos.
I would highly recommend her not only for weddings but for other events surrounding your wedding or even having her teach you a make up tutorial. She is very knowledgeable and just a great person to be around! -
