Barb and Holly are the dream team.
My wedding looked like the United Nations and both of them knew exactly what to do with each skin color and hair texture. Booking was such an easy process and communication was super solid. Prices were more than fair.
Wedding day was chaotic so we followed none of our color-coded hair and makeup schedule yet Barb and Holly pivoted right along with the rest of us without even blinking an eye. Holly even gave my daughter a haircut to accommodate the style she wanted. They absolutely rock. 10/10 recommend!

Caterpillars into butterflies…
Both Veronica and Barb were exceptional. Our son was getting married, and we needed makeup for four and hair for five. One of the five was our son, who has shoulder length hair. Veronica did a fantastic job, and his bride loved his look! She was able to make all my daughter’s hairstyles really shine! I had never seen them all look so pretty together.
Barb was amazing as well, completing four makeovers and making everyone look flawless. And it lasted all day and into the evening. We passed on the fake lashes but loved choosing our lipsticks. She uses excellent quality makeup and was exceptional at tone matching.
Both ladies were personable, gave each client the attention they needed, and made it a fun experience. They didn’t rush, but managed to get us all done in the allotted time.
It was pricey overall, but for the many hours they put in and the multiple services provided, it was very good value for the cost.
I recommend both ladies highly and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Barb and Sydney were an amazing make up team and got me and girls looking beautiful for the big moment! My make was done by Barb and it was exactly what I dreamed of. Barb and her team were absolutely amazing with all of the planning and execution of our hair and makeup plan for the wedding. I originally hired her specifically because I have a bridal party of a variety of mixed races and skin tones and I knew she had experience with a wide variety of ethnicities when it comes to makeup, as well as her hair stylist, Veronica, who has loads of experience with all different hair types and textures under the sun. The week of the wedding, Barb had an unfortunate accident and was unable to do my makeup...but she immediately called me and made sure to have another amazing artist substitute for me who did amazing. Her communication and planning was great and we had everything put together by the time the day came around. Veronica did all of our hair flawlessly and her makeup substitute artist was great and she always includes the lip color she uses on you for the wedding for you to take home! I was one of the lucky clients who was able to get a Bridal Artistry DC contract before Barbara decided to solely focus on her North Carolina location. When I came for my hair and makeup trial, there was a bit of an issue with the stylist I was initially assigned to and within ten minutes of reaching out to Barbara and telling her my concerns, she found an alternative hair and makeup team for me ! I had the pleasure of having Steph Cluff as my hair stylist and Sondra Lewis as my makeup artist and can I just say - wow. I never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day and that was a huge part thanks to the wonderful work these girls did!
For my trial, they traveled a pretty substantial distance in the evening to make sure they could complete my trial before I had to go out of town and they had the most wonderful ideas for what I can do for my hair and make-up. Unfortunately, one of the people in my party decided to not get their hair and make-up done, but Steph and Sondra were happy to accommodate me regardless. I made some last minute changes for my wedding day hair and Steph perfectly executed my vision and Sondra’s makeup was flawless. Not to mention that these two women are also incredibly kind and were such a joy to have around on the morning of my wedding when my nerves were at an all time high. Barb (makeup) and Alexa (hair) were so great to work with for my wedding! We did a trial a few months before so they were aware of my style and what would work with my skin tone. I knew from then that I was in good hands. Barb was so kind and flexible with last minute additions and brought Kerah (makeup) in to ensure we would stay on time. My bridesmaids were able to select any hairstyle they liked and Alexa was willing and able to accommodate all of their wishes. Barb and Kerah provided flawless makeup and everyone looked so beautiful. I, incorrectly, assumed I needed airbrush makeup to last all day but Barb assured me that her 24-hour, hand applied makeup would work best and she was not wrong. My makeup still looked great 12 hours, and many tears and dances, later! I highly recommend Bridal Artistry for your wedding makeup and hair.Bridal Artistry NC's reply:

A wonderful experience with Bridal Artistry and their team
I had a wonderful experience with Barb and Alexa. I was recommended to them by a family friend and they did not disappoint! Everything flowed seamlessly from start to finish. They were easy to contact, great with communication, and detail-oriented.
I have some facial blemishes and was initially worried about coverage, but they were able to cover every flaw and it lasted the entire day. Barb took her time applying skin care and cosmetics and made sure everything was exactly how I had envisioned it. We had a few people in the bridal party who also had their makeup done and everyone loved the flawless, natural look that they provided.
Alexa provided hair styles and likewise was wonderful to work with. She made each style that was desired a reality and the hair and curls held all through the evening.
The team was so attentive and great to work with through the whole process.

I worked with Barb from Bridal Artistry for my wedding makeup. I couldn’t have been happier with the results! A few weeks earlier, we did a makeup trial and she took excellent notes so that the day of was a breeze! She really listened to my preferences and checked in several times during the process to make sure I was happy with the progress. She showed up on time and was very professional. I loved working with Barb for my makeup and Naomi for my hair!
I was hesitant to do a trial but ultimately decided to, and would 100000% recommend. If you’re like me and think “eh I’ll be ok without one,” think twice! Haha.. they both helped me find my look and we talked in SO much detail to get the exact look I wanted, and I felt like a princess the day of the wedding.
Do a trial and be open with what you want, and you will have not a worry in the world about your wedding look!

Bridal Artistry was wonderful to work with for my wedding! I had originally decided to do my own make-up, but about two months away from my wedding date, I decided to look instead for a make-up artist. Barb was quick to respond to my emails, and was willing to travel to my wedding! She made the whole experience so easy! She scheduled a zoom call for us, during which I could talk about what make-up I'd like to wear on my wedding.
When we were all getting ready, not only did Barb do an excellent and beautiful job with my make-up, but she helped me feel calm and collected as we prepared for the wedding. I would definitely recommend her to a friend! I could not have been more pleased with the end result!!

Barb, Lauren, and their team were amazing! From my trial a few months before to the actual big day, working with Barb was so fun and very easy! I had a total of 10 women plus a flower girl getting their hair and makeup done the day of my wedding so it was a busy morning. Barb provided a schedule with timeslots for all the ladies which really helped ease any stress on my end. Barbara was a joy to work with. Like most brides,at first, I thought I knew exactly what I wanted. A natural look with subtle lashes and lip color. As the wedding day approached I realized that this was the one day I could/ should be able to be total glam. Barbara was super understanding and allowed me to do another trial makeup session for a total glam look, the week before the wedding. She nailed it! Also, my advice to anyone who may fake and bake like I do be sure to ask Barbara for her advice on skin care, cleansers, toner, etc. I have dry and oily skin so going to the tanning bed usually helps my breakouts, but with all the stress of the wedding I had a bit more breakouts then usual. Barbara did a fantastic job. I personally fell in love with the Bridal Artistry line Makeup she uses. My skin can be very sensitive as well and this line of makeup has been the best by far! Her assistant also received all the praise for her ability to do a total BOMB red lip all the way down to a simple elegant eye and lip. If you take anything away from this just know that Barbara and her Team truly care about every single client they work with from the Bride herself, the mother of the bride and all the bridesmaids. These ladies really take their years of experience and focus on your skin specifically. I would love to work with Barbara in the near future:)Bridal Artistry NC's reply:

Barbara and Lauren were both so wonderful to work with as my hair and makeup team for my wedding. Firstly, you could tell that they were true professional and very knowledgeable about their field! My hair stayed in place all night long despite all the crazy running around and my make up stayed on without any smears or smudges! My favorite part about my make up was that it felt light and airy! Both Barbara and Lauren really worked with me to bring out the highlights of my face and it shows in my wedding photos!! I would definitely recommend them for future brides or anyone looking to get an excellent hairstyle or make up for any event or occasion. Amazing Experience!
We all loved Barbara! She really knows her stuff! She made all of my bridesmaids, mother, flower girl, and myself feel beautiful! She was very attentive to each individual’s appearance and the makeup needed to enhance their natural beauty. She took amazing care of us and it all turned out so perfect. We also had Jasmine for our hair. Jasmine killed it! She tended to each person’s hair desire and it stayed all night. She really worked some hair magic. Both ladies were super nice and professional. She is truly an artist! Very impressive!
Barbara drove to our house (over an hour away!) and did make up on 7 of us in a row. She is truly an artist! I thought everyone looked absolutely beautiful and very natural as well. We had porcelain white skin to Hispanic skin tones and her color selections were great on all of us.
She knew how to get our eyes to stand out as well as hide my dark circles. She was very professional, fun and enjoyable to talk with.

Amazing, I felt so pretty!
I loved Barbara and her team, getting married during this strange time is difficult, so having a great team makes it all the more important. I don't wear makeup on a daily basis, and during our hair and makeup trail I got to see what I liked and didn't like. Barbara was so patient when I change lipsticks a few times to find the perfect one. I felt like a princess, and it all photographed so well! Barbara's Service was Perfect
Barbara and Bridal Artistry was perfect for our wedding day! We originally planned to have a wedding in April 2020 where there would be 6 people getting their hair and makeup done; but due to COVID-19 we have to change to a super small ceremony in June. Barbara was so flexible and understanding and so kindly drove 4 hours just to do my makeup to make sure I looked beautiful for my wedding day. She also found someone last minute do my hair for the big day! The wedding plans definitely were stressful during this time and Barbara was very comforting and made me feel much better about the big day! Barbara was amazing!! I wanted a very natural makeup look on my wedding day since I don't usually wear much makeup and wanted to feel like myself. She was extremely accommodating while also giving me enough extra coverage for the makeup to show up in pictures and emphasize my features. Barbara also did an amazing job at covering the redness I have from Rosacea, and finding the perfect color for my foundation despite me accidentally getting a tan before the wedding. She did makeup for my maid of honor and mother in law too, who loved their looks as well. Couldn't have had a better experience and so grateful we chose Bridal Artistry NC!Bridal Artistry NC's reply:

Barbara and her team at Bridal Artistry were amazing!!! We first did a trial run which went very well and put me at ease for the actual wedding day. Barbara and her team took their time doing the trial hair and makeup run and ensured I loved everything before our wedding day. The entire team was very friendly and nice and went above and beyond to make sure I loved my wedding look. The Bridal Artistry Team was very punctual and thorough and really made our wedding day as special as it could be. Not to mention, they were very flexible with last minute changes to the schedule the day of our wedding. The hair and makeup team did such a wonderful job in making sure all my thoughts and ideas were heard and catered almost exactly to the look I was hoping for on my wedding day!
