Ellie is super talented and such a sweet soul. It was hard for me to find a hair vendor that was confident to style my natural hair. Ellie incorporated all my visions for my naturally curly hair, and treated my decision to leave it natural with such respect! I used Ellie for two services since I had an intimate wedding ceremony and then a postponed wedding reception. She was so flexible with all the changes that I had to make due to COVID-19. I am so happy I found a hairstylist for LIFE!! Thank you again, Ellie, for all your love you put into your work and for making me look beautiful on my special days!! -

Hire Ellie
Ellie from Braids by Ellie was amazing! She arrived early, running ahead of schedule, which immediately made the morning stress-free. She listened to what I wanted while also bringing her own creative vision, and my hair turned out absolutely beautiful. She was flexible enough to add a bridesmaid last-minute, professional, and very communicative throughout. She even helped me brainstorm how to wear my veil. My hair stayed in place all night, and I got so many compliments. I can’t recommend her enough! -

Life saver
My original hairstylist canceled on me one week prior to my wedding. Ellie opened her books for me last minute, so willingly, and traveled to me at the crack of dawn to make my wedding hair vision come to life.She was a literal lifesaver & took all of my stress away. My hair was gorgeous & lasted all night- especially considering we got it done at 6am!!!! I seriously was complimented soooo many times about how unique and gorgeous my hair was. Ellie is an angel. -

She is so professional, SO fast (literally did the most amazing braid for me in record time), and does the most beautiful amazing work. Best Experience!!
First, and foremost Ellie is the sweetest person!! She’s such an easy person to work with. I gave her an idea of what I was hoping for and she did more then I could expect. My hair was so so beautiful. I can’t wait to have her apart of my day. My trial run with her made me certain I wanted her. She gets back to you so fast, and works with you. I 100% recommended her!! Truly the best!!
I cannot sing Ellie’s praises enough! Her and her team were incredible day of, and leading up to my wedding! They somehow managed to get 5 bridesmaids, two mothers and my hair done EARLY. And everyone’s hair looked incredible all night!!! You will not find someone better to do hair, trust me! -

Best Wedding Hair Ever!

Ellie is a hair magician!
From first contact to day of the wedding, Ellie was professional, responsive and just so nice. I wasn’t able to do a trial but that was no issue; Ellie made me feel comfortable day of the wedding and I LOVED my hair. Ellie is so talented and I’m so grateful she shares that with the world. Ellie was amazing I did a trial and then decided to do something different on my wedding day and let her pick and do her thing. My hair looked amazing and stayed all night and then some. My bridesmaid and flower girls hair was also amazing. She is also so fast it’s crazy. Can’t recommend her enough. -

Wowowow! My experience with Braids by Ellie deserves more than a 5 star review. Ellie herself is very easy to contact, she is organized, helpful and reliable. Unfortunately she was booked for my wedding date by the time I contacted her, but she was more than happy to set me up with Braids by Ellie Team! I had the privilege of having my hair trial and wedding day hair done by Celene. Celene sincerely went above and beyond for my wedding day hair. I had an original trial with her that was BEAUTIFUL!! But I needed some things tweaked. She scheduled TWO more trials with me to make sure it was absolutely perfect even amidst her crazy schedule and her own wedding planning. My hair turned out so perfect and stayed curled all day (which made me so happy because my hair typically falls out so fast). She truly is such an angel. Celene and Aish also did hair for all of my bridesmaids and the mothers at my wedding. Everyone looked so gorgeous, and their styles stayed all day. They were on time, laughed with us and truly made my wedding morning! As a company, these girls care!!! I don’t know how else to describe it but that they really care for their clients and help them feel beautiful. If you are even considering Braids By Ellie for an event or your wedding, DO IT! If I could do it all over again, they’d be my hair gals again in a heartbeat!! -

Ellie is A M A Z I N G
Where to begin? Ellie is AMAZING. She is SO sweet, SO talented and was so much fun to hangout with on wedding day! Our wedding was a destination elopement due to COVID, so we had our trial two days before our wedding. Ellie did both me and my wife's hair and we were SO SO SO happy with what she did for us. We felt like we were getting ready with a friend who made the morning fun, relaxing and full of PERFECT hair! She listened to our very loose ideas and made magic happen! I feel like we were so lucky to book her not only for our elopement but also our second wedding in a few months. We absolutely recommended Ellie and her team. We cannot wait to see her and see what she can create with our hair again!! -

Ellie and her team are absolutely phenomenal! She was recommended to me by my original wedding hair stylist who had to cancel due to having her sweet baby but I am so thankful I got to work with Ellie and her team! She sent Celene to do it all and SHE DID IT ALL! Celene went above and beyond for myself (bride) my bridesmaids, my mother and mother in law. She had no problem clearing her calendar and making her magic happen and truly it was magic! Ellie was so responsive on any and all questions I had as was Celene! I found Ellie on Instagram with the help of a friend and from the first moment we talked Ellie was so nice, easy to work with, and most important FUN! No one wants their wedding day to be stressful and Ellie was definitely a part of the fun! She made me feel so at ease and really understood what I wanted for my hair even though I gave her vague ideas at the start. My hair stayed in place all day and I got SOO many compliments! We definitely loved Ellie! -

I cannot begin to express how amazing Ellie and her team are ♥️ She made me feel comfortable and that my day mattered to her as much as it did to me! The best hair stylist
I am so glad I went to Ellie. My hair and my party’s hair was gorgeous! She was the first vendor I booked for my wedding because I 100% knew I wanted to have her be a part of my day. She is so fast and incredible at what she does. Her cousin/assistant was also so talented and they were both so fun to talk to. I would recommend Ellie and her team a million times! You will not regret it. ALSO her prices are unmatched! -

Simply the best!
Ellie was so accommodating from the start. Even when I told her I may be a little late to my initial hair trial, she told me not to worry. I was so nervous about doing an updo and not feeling like myself (I normally wear my hair down), but the confidence she had for me made me feel certain it was the right style for my big day. On the actual day of my wedding, she and her assistant worked magic on not only my hair but my bridesmaids as well especially since they all chose their braid styles right then and there. All of our hair styles stayed throughout the ceremony and the reception, and we did A LOT of dancing. Do not hesitate if you're thinking about having Ellie part of your special day! -

Ellie is absolutely amazing! I booked her for my wedding and she did an incredible job! Myself, as well as my four bridesmaids picked completely different styles/braids and she worked her hair magic! The Boho Braid QUEEN!
Ellie is a gem and so talented! My originally planned hair stylist was unavailable for my rescheduled Covid wedding and I was in panic mode trying to find someone else - I needed someone who specifically knew how to braid. I had been following Ellie on social media for a while and reached out to her, praying she was available for my new date - thank goodness she was! Throughout the entire planning process she was so helpful and extremely responsive. We had a very early start time and on the morning of the wedding, she and her assistant showed up early to set up their things and were so professional. Everyone's hair was absolutely beautiful and stayed throughout the entire day and night (might I had, it was 104 degrees outside and everyone still looked flawless). I couldn't be happier with choosing Ellie to be a part of my special day and absolutely recommend her to anyone! -

Beyond Amazing!
Ellie was the absolute best during my hair trial and my wedding day. Not sure if I'm just go with the flow or if she's just THAT good, but I was beyond impressed after our trial and was like YEP, this is it.
Ellie was so thorough on my day & everyone that got their hair done was blown away. My SIL that usually doesn't let anyone do her hair due to her extensions showing even loved her style. Ellie covered them up beautifully.
I got so many compliments from guests & my hair even stayed put for 4+ days after during my mini moon.
If you're looking for someone to give you the boho braid of your dreams, or even just appeal to everyone's hairstyle - SHE IS IT.
I love Ellie and will be using her for ALL of my special events and photos. She's the best! -

I had Ellie do braids for my engagement photos, bridal shower, and of course wedding! She was amazing and is so talented! She did my hair, along with my bridesmaids, flower girls, and even curled the moms hair (since they didn't want to do braids). She is so amazing and super sweet! She is worth every penny you seriously won't regret booking her. She books up crazy fast because she is that good so don't hesitate and just do it I promise you won't regret it! -

Most amazing hair styles and most amazing service!
I knew right away I wanted Ellie to do my hair for my wedding. She not only was so helpful and responsive with change of plans for Covid but made my hair so beautiful for the wedding. Ellie was super quick as well which was shockingly awesome! No one loves to sit in a chair for hours so it made me feel stress free and overjoyed when it was literally PERFECT and exactly how I envisioned my hair and it was done in an amazing amount of time. Ellie is friendly, reliable and I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!!! -
