No words to describe how amazing Ben and his team were for our wedding day and before. Ben has true passion for photography. He listens to you and makes you feel so comfortable during your day. He went above and beyond during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. So many people came up to us throughout our day complimenting him and his work ethic. We definitely got more than our money’s worth using him and his services. Bonus: we got our full wedding album just a couple weeks after our wedding day! Just book him! -

We couldn't recommend Ben and the entire Boxcar Photography team more! From the very beginning, Ben was incredibly easy to work with. He met with us multiple times and truly made the entire wedding planning process less stressful.
Ben captured our engagement session, which unfortunately had to change locations at the last minute due to the weather. Even with the unexpected change, he was so flexible and still captured the most beautiful photos.
We thought we were in love with our engagement photos until Ben and his team captured our wedding day at Maple Grove Venues! We fell even more in love with the photos and video they created. Looking through them feels like reliving our wedding day all over again.
We are so thankful to have had Boxcar Photography as part of our special day. Their talent, professionalism, and attention to detail are truly amazing. We can't thank Ben and his team enough for giving us memories that we'll cherish forever!

My husband and I found Ben by recommendation of our amazing photographer, and dang was she right to send us to him. Of course we did our own research on other videographers but Ben had gorgeous videos and he was so very easy to talk to. He was so eager to get to know who we were as a couple and worked with us to make sure we got everything we wanted on our wedding day. The night before our wedding, poor Ben had actually been in the emergency department for hours with an eye injury of all things. However, even with only one painless eye and running on limited sleep, he was at the wedding with bells on and produced THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIDEOS! He sent us our wedding video and teasers way sooner than predicted also! Even when I had assumed that we would be in his rearview, he has sent us new teasers and short videos. We are so grateful to have found Ben and just cannot speak highly enough about his professionalism and gorgeous work! -

We highly recommend Boxcar Photography for your wedding! Ben and Brad did such an amazing job and were creative and easily got all our shots that we asked for and so many more! I pretty much forgot they were there, that's how great they are at going about doing their thing. Then, we get the photos to review and OMG!!! I can't pick favorites. -

Ben and team created a wedding video that far exceeded our expectations! Originally, we had not planned on having a video for our wedding and added this in just a month before our wedding in Colorado.
Ben was gracious and responsive throughout the booking process and asked all the right questions to understand what we were hoping to capture at our wedding. While we did not have a chance to meet before our wedding, Ben and his team immediately put us at ease and simultaneously captured all of the key memories and moments of our wedding without distracting from our big day.
We received our initial video faster than expected and it was truly a work of art. With audio driving the story, Ben seemingly listened thoughtfully to each part of the day and paired that with the perfect visuals to go with it to tell a beautiful story of our wedding. The number of happy tears from friends and family that this one video has created is truly impressive.
Additionally, Ben included a number of extra clips that we had not expected that have been great to relive the day and share with folks who were unable to join in person. Overall, Ben greatly exceeded our expectations and is a talented filmmaker that we would happily recommend! -

Ben and the team at boxcar are an amazing team to work with. They made the entire process easy and comfortable! From the beginning they took the time to get to know us as a couple and what we were looking for in our photos. We had a really thorough consultation that was very laid back and conversational. Every part of the process made us feel more and more secure in our decision with boxcar as our photographer! Day of they were EVERYWHERE! All of our guests commented on how professional and awesome our photographers were. They were able to capture all the special moments that we weren’t able to see so looking back on the day has been really fun! (And we aren’t picture people either! They are just that good!) If there’s one vendor I can confidently say was worth every penny, it was Boxcar hands down! -

On June 17, 2023, we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Our memories of the day were captured by Ben and his team of Boxcar Photography. What an amazing gallery of memories they have created for us. We also used their videography services. We can't wait to get our hands on that video. I'm sharing some of our favorites pix here. To young brides from a bride of 50 years, you can plan everything down to the moment, but if you don't have the right people to execute, the plan falls apart ... Boxcar can execute!
BTW, that is a metaphor for marriage as well. -

Ben photographed RMA Children's Foundation (https://www.rmacf.org/) fall gala at Mile High Station and captured the evening perfectly. Everyone was so happy to have a successful evening captured so wonderfully. He was very professional and so great to work with. I can't believe how quickliy he turned around all of our phtos. We were so happy to have him at the event. He truly helped us have a really successful event. I would highly recommend Ben for any of your photography needs! -

Unmatched artistic ability
It’s hard today to find photographers who do the same cheesy angles and old school cliche poses. Ben with Boxcar Photography, did an incredible job matching my fiancé and I’d aesthetic. Ben is amazing!! We are kind of an awkward couple; we don't usually display any pda. We were really nervous going into our shoot, but Ben put all our worries at ease. He had us laughing and being more intimate within the first few minutes, and his work did not disappoint! Ben provided great instruction that was easy to understand. He made this experience incredibly fun, and we received some amazing pictures. We would recommend Boxcar photography ten times over. -

From start to finish Boxcar Photography provided a quality experience capturing this important moment in our lives. Ben was a pleasure to work with - he anticipated our needs before we even communicated them. His knowledge and expertise was an asset and we never once questioned that we were in good hands. We were seeking to hire a photographer with a documentary approach and Boxcar Photography delivered. The photos Ben captured were a collaborative approach; he listened to our ideas and wishes and he made suggestions to enhance the quality of the final photographs. We couldn't believe how quickly we received both our engagement photos and wedding photos. Working with Benjamin was an experience that my Wife and I are extremely happy and grateful for.
Benjamin has a way of making you feel comfortable in front of the Camera and leads you into natural ways you would be with your other.
He is no doubt a Professional and both his work and follow through showed that. We booked him for both our engagement photos and our Wedding, and for both sessions, he kept in constant contact, asked for feedback, and delivered photos that truly captured us in our Moment together.
For our Wedding, Benjamin was able to lead both his assistant and our videographer together for a seamless process that gave both us, our friends, and our family a piece of Art that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.
Some advice I had been given before we started looking for a Photographer was don’t go cheap and don’t just go after the cheapest bid. Benjamin, we feel, was priced competitively and we believe the Value and Professionalism he brought was well above what we paid for.
We cannot give enough praise for Benjamin, his Team, and his Craft. If you are looking for a Photographer who takes this seriously…and has impeccable follow up. I would highly recommend you book an appointment with Benjamin and see if it’s a fit for you.

Best wedding decision I made
I put off writing this review for a long time because I don't even know how to express what an amazing person, professional, and photographer Ben is. Photography was our number one priority for a wedding vendor and Ben was everything I had hoped for and more. I happened upon his listing (on wedding wire I believe) in spring of 2019. After our initial conversation with Ben, I was sold. There was never another option after that because he was just such a great person and I felt completely confident that he would do a phenomenal job. We loved our engagement photos so much that we ended up adding on videography to our package as well.
We ran into COVID problems and we had to postpone our June full wedding to October, but we still wanted to move forward with the official wedding on our original date. Ben recommended we still get some pictures and video of the day to tell the full story and I am so glad he did. He worked closely with me to make sure we could get everything we needed on that day and it ended up being something I LOVED. I feel so blessed to have been able to have a small intimate wedding as well as a larger one and I probably would have opted out of doing pictures and video if it hadn't been for Ben's advice.
Ben was also a life saver for the bigger wedding. He is great at communicating and making sure timing will work out. I reached out to him (probably far too often) and he was always there to provide advice or recommendations. Due to COVID, we had a lot of last minute changes with the event regulations and Ben was so gracious and patient about everything. I honestly rarely knew what was happening because things were changing so often, but he was so chill and understanding and never made me stress about anything. Anytime something came up he was always there with a suggestion at the very least to help me figure out a solution.
Ben has exceeded every single expectation from day one. He is organized, professional (but not in a cold way), kind, funny, friendly, accommodating and his photos speak for themselves. I have been completely blown away by his work and how comfortable he was able to make us while shooting. We got our photos and videos back quickly and Ben never left us in the dark as to timing or where we were in the process at any point. Anytime someone sees one of his photos, they are amazed at the quality. I just cannot say enough good things about Ben and would recommend him to anyone a million times over. I promise, you won't regret working with him. -

Exceeded our expecations from beginning to end
3 weeks prior to my Covid Ceremony, Boxcar Photography was recommended to me. Over a phone conversation/interview he wanted to know who we are as individuals, how we found each other and our vision. It honestly felt like a friend that you call to catch up for 10 minutes and before you know it an hour has passed, and it did. He was accommodating to last minute changes and listened to our requests, his input was always on point. The day of he made us both feel very comfortable, he gently guided us to deliver photos that were perfectly us. He captured the moment and the emotion behind the photograph. The photos were ready and returned to us in no time. We won't soon forget the fun we had that day and we have the pictures to prove it :) Thank you for your kindness, hard work and talent Benjamin and crew. -

The best before, during and after experience!!
Where do I even begin! Ben is the best!! Not only does he take absolutely breathtaking pictures but his professionalism is second to none! From the very beginning Ben was on the ball and organized, starting off with an introductory phone call and talking a bit about himself and his photography style and then diving into details on how me and my (now husband) met, etc. I'm definitely a type A personality and come with a lot of questions and even more questions... Ben would answer every single one of them without a hitch. Even when he was half way around the world he would be sure to answer our emails within a few hours. On the day of, he was cool, calm and collect in the 100 degree heat and kept the pictures flowing. I have no doubt we were blessed with an amazing photographer who captured every moment we could have hoped for on camera and more. Ben- thank you for giving us beautiful photos that we will treasure for a lifetime and thank you for being you!! -

We have used Ben/Boxcar Photography for a photography service twice now and both times have exceeded my expectations. The first time was for our engagement photos and they turned out BEAUTIFULLY. Ben is the perfect blend of traditional and then has an adventurous side to try out things to get a more artistic shot captured.
He was easy to work with and guided us the entire time making the experience very enjoyable.
After our engagement shoot, we liked him so much that we booked him for our family portrait session to capture our newest family member.

My husband and I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Benjamin and Boxcar Photography. He is the best! Finding the right wedding photographer was extremely important to us. When we first saw photos from Boxcar Photography, we were so excited about the unique style. From our first emails, Benjamin responded promptly, answered all our questions, was friendly and professional. He is very down to earth and easy to be around. Benjamin takes incredible photos and we were blown away each time: after our mini session, engagement photo shoot and wedding! We got our pictures back quickly and enjoyed reliving the day. Benjamin has an incredible eye for capturing those special unposed moments throughout the day.
