  Absolutely Perfect!

  Everything about the venue was absolutely perfect! Our guests were blown away and gave us so many compliments on the venue and the staff. The grounds were immaculate and we got to set up the Reception space early since we were the only event booked for Memorial Day Weekend! Heather, the venue manager is incredible and so easy to work with. Bowing Oaks has everything you need and the Bridal and Groom suites are massive! Pictures and videos of the venue don’t do it justice, it’s truly breathtaking on-site and we couldn’t have been happier on our Wedding Day! Thank you for making our day so special and magical. We highly recommend Bowing Oaks for every occasion!

  Great All-in-One Venue!

  I cannot say enough good things about this venue! Heather, the event manager, was phenomenal to work with...quick to respond to emails and answered all of my millions of questions! I had the opportunity to meet the owner of the property as well and he was a delight to speak with. The bridal suite had great lighting for your makeup and hair stylists, the groom's room has a huge tv and pool table for the boys to kick back and relax while waiting on the ladies :) Definitely a wonderful venue if you are looking to have your ceremony and reception in the same place!

  Even though I may not be getting married here, they are TOP notch

  So my fiancé and I loved the venue from the beginning. Everything about it. We booked it instantly and had no regrets..
  
  Fast forward a few months, we learn that my fiancé’s deployment is pushed due to covid-19 and he may not make it home in time AND we are to be stationed in a new city within 5 days of our wedding. So much stress.
  
  Heather has been on top of it with every email I sent them regarding our updates. First with holding a new date for us out of the kindness of their hearts and helping reschedule if needed PLUS more if needed.
  
  This venue and the people who run it truly care about their people and the owns serving our country. It means so much.
  
  We want to get married here and are crossing our fingers and saying our prayers that we still can. But from the bottom of our hearts, we thank them and appreciate their flexibility and kindness. Not every venue would bend over backwards for you.
  
  I’d chose Bowing Oaks over and over.

  Beautiful venue

  Bowing Oaks was an incredible venue! I was nervous it would be too rustic but they were very flexible with allowing us to set things up in a certain way so we could highlight the tree but minimize the rustic feel the location has. Also the entire staff was so nice and helpful they made our big day so special!

  Don’t hesitate on this one, it will book fast! Fairy Tale Venue!! Country Rustic Elegance!

  This venue was beyond perfect for our wedding. The oak tree alone will have you falling in love! There is a chapel as well for an alternate ceremony location or if it rains as a plan B. The bride and groom suites were insane and such a nice space for each bridal party to hang out in and relax the day of. They have an inventory of items that can be rented out, which was so helpful for some last minute decor we didn’t want to bring up or forgot. The tree swing and outside fire pit were some added features we loved and the guests enjoyed too during cocktail hour and reception. The reception hall is absolutely gorgeous and the chandelier’s at the top just give it such an elegant look! Heather was a pleasure to work with and even asked the owner some special requests that we had and they were all a yes! I can’t say enough about this venue, except I want to do it all over again and it’s only been a month. You will definitely not find another venue like this one!

  This was a great venue! It rained but it made it more magical with the lights outside and the clear umbrellas. Everyone loved this rustic/elegance feel of the venue. We loved having our wedding here!

  Bowing oaks is absolute perfection. My biggest things were to have enough room for a lot of guests, the ceremony under oak trees, big bridal and groom suites, near hotels and a rustic but elegant style. Bowing filled all needs and more!! We looked here first and immediately fell in love. Heather was amazing and always answered any questions I had. I highly recommend this venue for anyone and for any event.

  Bowing oaks was a great location for our wedding. The staff was amazing and showed great professionalism. Even though the rain tried to ruin our day, the venue came equipped with umbrellas for our bridal party and our guest. Thank you for making our day so magical and unforgettable.

  Bowing Oaks is a beautiful venue! It was the perfect setting for our wedding ceremony and reception. We loved getting married under the "I Do" oak tree and the grounds were very pretty for pictures.
  The bridal room is very spacious and pretty and all the girls had their own area to get ready. We were able to have fun, play music and enjoy our time getting ready. The guys loved having their own room too!
  Heather was very helpful and on top of all our needs. The on-site staff during set-up and event were very accommodating. We highly recommend this venue for weddings!

We did not take advantage of the use for the ceremony but, we did have our reception here and used the area to get ready that morning. We received so many compliments on how wonderful everything was and how beautiful the property was!
  
  During the planning process Heather was very helpful and accommodating. She answered all questions in a timely manner and helped with some last minute changes and photography accommodations due to weather. The staff onsite the morning of was also wonderful. The wine cooler in the bridal suite was not working the morning of but, they provided us with a great wine chiller and went the extra mile to be sure we were comfortable. They answered all questions and were more than happy to help with anything we needed.
  
  All in all everyone involved was very helpful and pleasant. The only slight disappointment I had was the staff member that was there the night of our reception. I'm not sure who she was as she never introduced herself officially to me but, there were a few hiccups with her. Again, this was one small blip in the overall experience and I would highly recommend this space to anyone looking for an elegant feel!!

  We got married at Bowing Oaks on March 4th, and it honestly could not have been a better experience for us. The venue is beautiful, with so many touches, I don't know where to start. The bride and groom each have their own specifically designed rooms to get ready in, and they are beyond amazing rooms. You get the property for the entire day, and their is staff on site to help with anything that may go wrong, and to make sure that the grounds and the tables are set up the right way. Heather is the contact person, and she is with you every step of the way. She dealt with us constantly wanting to change the set up in the room and was so patient and generous with her time. I can't say enough about her and all of the help that she provided. The wedding itself took place under the tree, and then the cocktail hour was outside before heading into the ballroom for the reception. The venue is gorgeous, and we had so many people coming up to us throughout the night and after telling us how much they loved it. They made my day a beautiful day, and I would recommend this venue a thousand times over. Oh! Also, you can provide your own vendors, from their preferred list, and their list is a great one.

  Bowing Oaks is a beautiful venue, obviously. However they go above and beyond to provide great customer service and help create a sense of peace about your wedding! I got married a Saturday after a hurricane hit but Heather and her team worked to make sure that we have several plans in case of rain and made sure everything went perfectly. Despite it raining during the whole wedding and causing us to go to Plan B our guests still told us this was one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever been too!

  Bowing Oaks Plantation was the most beautiful, perfect venue for our February brunch wedding, and I truly couldn't have imagined it at any other location. Many of the other barn/plantation-style venues near Jacksonville are an hour west of the city, making the commute long for even in-town guests. BOP an in-town plantation that makes you completely forget you are just off Philips Hwy. As a major DIY bride, I had a bit of sticker shock when we saw the price, but I will be the first to tell you, it was worth EVERY penny. The property and event space are so gorgeous on their own, you make up for the price by spending less on décor because its just not necessary. AC/ Heating, incredible bride/groom suites, fire pits, lighting packages, and an amazing staff are just icing on your three tiered cake!

  They are currently building it however it is coming along smoothly. Heather is extremely helpful and friendly. She held my date for m so that I could wait for my parents to come into town to see it before signing my contract then she was super easy going when I switched the date.

  Wonderful venue

  The initial cost is a bit high, but it did include all the tables and chairs (including those for the reception and those for the ceremony.) Heather was so easy to work with and responsive to all our questions. The venue is immaculately clean. The bride's and groom's "getting ready" rooms are roomy and perfect.
  Best of all, it's a great "farmhouse/barn" wedding venue but with a great location. Easily accessible from I-95 and Old St. Augustine Road, there are many wonderful hotels nearby and things for out-of-town guests to do while in town for your big day.

  This place is beautiful! I had an 80 guest wedding and still had plenty of room. Many compliments on the beautiful scenery/trees and the large barn-like reception area! Heather is phenomonal. Answers emails timely and is over all super helpful.

  Bowing Oaks Plantaion is a very beautiful venue! We loved it from the second we saw it in person. The facility is absolutely perfect and ideal for weddings!
  They do have many rules and things that are not allowed so make sure to ask lots of questions before signing.
