Amazing Photographers!

Ashley and Bill are your dream team wedding photographers!!! Photography was my number 1 priority and I did a LOT of research of practically every photographer in the raleigh area. I already loved Bow Tie’s photos from their portfolio but as soon as I talked to Ashley on the phone I knew I had to lock them down. Ashley is very personable, experienced, and very type A with photography which is WHAT YOU WANT! My father in law actually asked if she used to be a military commander because only Ashley could whip our groomsmen into poses so we could get some good photos of them 🤣 if you don’t know how to pose, don’t you worry, Ashley will guide you through all the best poses so you don’t look awkward! Oh and did I mention we got our entire wedding album in about TWO WEEKS?! Highly highly recommend!!

Absolutely Amazing

Where do I even start??? If you're thinking of booking Ashley and Bill for your wedding, absolutely do it!! Ashley has such an incredible talent for making you feel like you've known her for your entire life. She also tells you exactly what you need to do, where to stand, everything, to capture some AMAZING photos!!! I also felt completely at ease knowing that she would be one of the most important people "running" the wedding day - she kept us on time and having fun the entire day! We just got preview pictures back and they are breathtaking - can't wait for the full gallery! Ashley and Bill, you are an amazing team and I would recommend you to anyone!!!

Thankful We Found Them!

After losing our original photographer due to our pandemic postponements, Bow Tie was so easy to work with when putting things together on a short timeline. Ashley and Bill were great throughout the process -- catching up quickly, working with us to meet our budget, and planning our schedule all in a matter of weeks. They were even flexible with some last-minute changes we made! So happy with the photos we got and the experience we had working with them. Would absolutely recommend!

The. Best. Ever.

Ashley and Bill are the best dynamic duo! They play off each other perfectly and have so much talent together. Ashley and bill are so easy to talk to, be around, and feel comfortable with. I started following them both on Instagram prior to getting engaged and love every wedding they shoot!

I never thought I could “pose” or look natural in photos but when we got our engagement album back, we were blown away. The wedding album was just the same and out of this world. The colors, the lighting, the angles... it’s all perfect and hard to even put into words. All of our friends and family are completely in awe at the photos from our special day and we now have beautiful memories to last a lifetime.
Ashley is incredibly responsive and helpful with every aspect of your special day, too. She helped me with things that were not her responsibility. Highly recommend and can’t say enough good things about Bow Tie!

Hire Bow Tie Collaborative Right Away!!

My husband and I got married last weekend at the Merrimon-Wynne House and are so impressed by our photos taken by and Ashley and Bill. They are truly amazing at what they do. I knew after seeing pictures from a friend's wedding that we had to have Bow Tie as our photographers! We are beyond happy with this decision. We hired Ashley and Bill for 8 hours on our wedding day. Ashley and Bill made every picture meaningful and captured the special, little details of our big day. Ashley even helped secure my veil in my hair and made sure it did not get stuck in the turf outside when I was to walk down the aisle. Hire Bow Tie Collaborative!! They are a dream to work with, and you will be so happy!

The best choice

While researching wedding photographers, I came across Ashley and Bow Tie Collaborative and instantly fell in love with her dreamy and romantic style. When I met her and Bill in person at a vendor open house I was sold! They brought such an amazing energy for both our engagement and wedding photos. My husband and I are not comfortable in front of the camera, but Ashley and Bill made us feel like pros! Ashley brings so much experience to the shoots that she organizes the picture timeline for the whole day, so everything runs extremely smoothly. We had an outdoor ceremony and it lightly rained most of the afternoon, but Ashley advised to still have the ceremony outside and we couldn’t be happier with the results! You can feel the love in all the shots. She also got shots of all the little details that as a bride I didn’t have a chance to see day of and now I have beautiful pictures to remember that day forever! I highly recommend Ashley (and Bill) for a worry and stress-free wedding day with all the love captured!

The Absolute Best Photographer

I cannot say enough good things about Ashley Maton with Bow Tie Collaborative. It was so important to me to choose the right photographer for our big day because the pictures are able to capture all the special moments that you can look back on for years to come. Ashley and her husband Bill with Bow Tie Collaborative Photography photographed my wedding and were absolutely AMAZING!! I honestly don't think we can put into words just how amazing Bow Tie Collaborative is. We came in as clients and left as friends. Ashley and Bill photographed our engagement and our wedding. If I could choose only one vendor to use over and over again it would be them. They are seriously worth their weight in gold. You get SO much more than just a photographer. They are two genuine and honest people who will seriously do ANYTHING to make your photographs and day perfect. Ashely helped me with things above and beyond photography. We can never express just how thankful we are for their experience, artistic eye, and just overall understanding and compassion for their clients. My advice is to choose Bow Tie Collaborative. The only regret you will have your big day is not choosing them.

I met Ashley three years ago when I was the maid of honor in my college roommate's wedding. I'm the girl who often tries to slip away when the cameras come out and my husband is the guy who's usually over it by the third holiday picture. So when he proposed to me last year I knew I had to find a photographer that would not only make me feel comfortable, but that would be fun and keep him engaged. There was only one option - Ashley Green at Bow Tie Collaborative! Ashley was the first vendor and only photographer that I contacted! She's so fun and friendly - she can make anyone feel at ease. Ashley is also very supportive. She was there whenever I needed guidance, not only with photography, but also with suggestions and opinions about other wedding ideas. We received so many compliments on our pictures and our entire wedding party loved her. If you're looking for an awesome photographer, Ashley is your girl! I am so glad that I found Ashley to take my wedding pictures! I got married in October and had a two day wedding. Ashley was on time on both days - she was attentive, focused and took so many creative and beautiful shots to capture the essence of each day! Ashley took my vision and ran with it! I had been honest with her from the start that I was not her typical bride and had a few modern ideas and approaches that I wanted to incorporate into my day. She was extremely patient and helpful in talking through my ideas prior to the wedding weekend, helping me plan the details down to the best time for the ceremony and working with us to keep everyone moving efficiently on our wedding day. I'd also like to sing praises for the Bow Tie Team for their enthusiastic and kind demeanor to our entire family and wedding party. Ashley did an amazing job keeping everyone happy and moral high despite the mid July heat!

I would highly recommend Ashley and the Bow Tie Team for any bride looking to add her personal touch. Not only did our pictures turn our beautiful, but they were a true reflection of our style and vision and we have Ashley to thank.

Ashley did such a phenomenal job! My husband and I had her take our engagements photos, bridal portraits, and wedding photography. Ashley was always professional, and she was able to help us feel very comfortable in front of the camera (not an easy task). My husband is not a fan of photos, and she was able to make him actually say "Hey, that was kind of fun" after our engagement photos. Ashley took our ideas for the photos, and she made them into beautiful works of art. She always knew the best shot, and she has a great artistic eye for portraits. Ashley knows how to make people feel beautiful, and I highly recommend her and her team to help capture your special day.

I couldn't be happier with my wedding photography experience thanks to Bow Tie Collaborative. Ashley was quick to respond to my initial email and during our meet and greet she was so helpful in answering all of our questions. Ashley is absolutely amazing, and so fun to work with! She takes SO much time pre-planning before the actual wedding day that I felt so confident everything would go as smooth as she said it would. She made our wedding day timeline, and totally coordinated throughout the entire day. She did so much more than just take photos of our wedding. She put in my veil, bustled my dress, pinned boutonniere's, etc etc, she is there to help and make the day go flawless. Ashley made me and my husband feel so relaxed and at ease on our wedding day and allowed us to enjoy and have fun. I honestly can't imagine my wedding day without Ashley a part of it. Ashley from Bow Tie Collaborative was a pleasure to work with as our wedding photographer! Even though we experienced some bad weather on our wedding day with high winds, Ashley remained calm and helped us remain calm throughout the day, and captured amazing pictures in the process! You would not even know that the weather was so bad. I really wanted a photographer that would be able to capture the details of our day so I could remember all the little things, and she did just that. Every detail was captured and I now have all of those memories. The pictures came out amazing and I can't wait to see the photo album that she is creating. Ashley Green of Bow Tie Collaborative is the complete professional. I could NOT have been more pleased with how our photos turned out! They were amazing, and we have gotten countless compliments on them. She was very thorough the day of the wedding and captured every memory that we asked of her in planning sessions. She's funny, energetic, and worked tirelessly to capture our entire day. She's the whole package! I have referred several friends and coworkers to her, and they've gone on to book her for their functions. I also used BTC for our engagements and our bridal portraits. Stellar work! Wedding photography was very high up on our list of priorities, as they stay with you forever. I wouldn't change a thing -- would definitely choose Ashley every time!

Where do I start? We truly cannot say enough about Bow Tie Collaborative and their talent in taking naturally stunning pictures. My husband grew up with Ashley and Austin and never had a doubt that we would use them to capture our Engagement memories and Wedding Day. Ashley was the one who I kept in touch with throughout the planning, and she was always so easy to talk to and super organized. I never had to stress about a thing throughout the entire planning process with her, she literally handled everything for us. While taking the pictures we never felt so natural and at ease… they somehow took the awkward stiffness out of every pose and made them feel normal and fun. We laughed the entire way through both sessions and had a blast. Also, their recommendations of props to use were greatly appreciated after I saw the outcome of the photos! Definitely highly recommend Bow Tie Collaborative for every event!

Ashley Green is wonderful to work with. She has mounds of knowledge about photography of course, but she is also very knowledgable and helpful in planning out the schedule of our entire wedding day. She was able to get tons of different pictures while still allowing is to enjoy our wedding day. She stayed positive throughout the entire day and really made everyone feel comfortable and allowed us to have fun. She obviously enjoys her work and takes great pride in capturing and preserving the memories of her clients. Her talent and work ethic is displayed in all of her photographs and we couldn't have been more pleased with our pictures, as well as our experience with Ashley.

Ashley was an amazing wedding photographer and exactly what we wanted, professional and reputable but also low-key, never pushy. She made everyone feel incredibly comfortable, from us to friends & family, through what can be a tedious process, but it didn't feel tedious to us at all - it was actually fun!

I would highly recommend Bow Tie Collaborative for anyone looking for high quality wedding photography from a super nice and professional team.

Windy Peak Photography is amazing! Austin and Ashley are fabulous and I loved working with them. My husband and I had a wonderful engagement session. They are very outgoing and easy to work with. They have wonderful ideas and really captured our personalities. My bridal portraits are phenomenal; my husband still hasn't been able to look through all of them! Having them capture our wedding day was a dream come true!! They work with you on the day-of schedule to make sure everyone is ready on time so everything goes as smooth as possible. There was no worry about them missing moments throughout the day. My husband and I are so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with them and have them as our photographers. We chose Windy Peak for our wedding photography and couldn't be happier with our finished products! So many of our guests have commented on how great the pictures look. Ashley and Austin were wonderful to work with and they were with us the whole wedding day, capturing each moment. My husband and I had met with them a few times before to discuss details so by the time the wedding came along everything was worked out to the T and we made new friends. We love these guys! We also did a Day After Session with them, which I highly recommend! They got more great shots and are so creative and always up for shooting new places. They were really quick with the pictures too compared with other photographers. Book them for your wedding or event...you won't be disappointed!!!

What do you need in a photographer? Talent, trust, reasonable price. Check. Check. Check.
What else did I want? Fun, quality, fast.
Check. Check. Check.

I don't know any other brides who had as much fun as I did with our photographers! And, sorry, but no one's engagement/wedding pictures are better than ours! Our Southern style wedding in a historic brick church looks contemporary and clear in our photos. The colors are vibrant, the emotions are vivid, and no one can sneak in a shot like these two and still not get in the way of the action. I don't love the camera but Austin made me feel comfortable. Ashley made the photo selection process afterward easy as pie, which is saying something - I'm indecisive and Ashley was patient.

Oh and the albums they offer are the most beautiful you'll ever see. Really.

You won't be disappointed - Windy Peak is the best vendor I used for my wedding. Love them and their photos. Can't wait to think of a reason to work with them again.

Ashley and Austin are a great team of photographers who deliver superb photos and customer service. My first experience with them was for my engagement photos, which I absolutely LOVED! So there was no question that I wanted to use them to photograph my wedding. As expected, my wedding photos were all that I thought they would be and more! Ashley and Austin do a great job of catching moments that are not posed and contrived. There passion for what they do is apparent in the qualtiy of their photos.

If you're on the fence about using them, just take a look at there website and view all of the awesome photos. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

Austin and Ashley are the best! They did an amazing job documenting our wedding and we were so pleased with and would highly recommend them. They have great personalities and were so easy to work with. Ashley made sure to go over everything with me before the wedding and she really put me at ease. They know what they are doing and we ended up with great pictures! The two of them as a team are wonderful!

Ashley and Austin were wonderful to work with. I currently live in Virginia, but married in NC, and needed a photographer who was willing to work with me closely by email and phone. Not only were they quick to respond, but they did so with professionalism and always answered my questions with details. I felt confident I made the right choice for us!
I was married in Bath, NC and had a reception in Washington, NC. While they had never been to these sites, you would never have known. They came in extremely early and spent the whole day with us. They checked the area for the best photo options and came up with some great ideas. They also listened to everything I wanted and happily took the photos I had always hoped for! They made sure to take all of the standard family shots (wishes of my mother) while getting some incredible unexpected photos and outside of the box shots.

One of my priorities in searching for a photography was value and the rights to my photos. Their prices were definitely the best for the value! Having the rights to our photos was also really important to me, with all of the outlets I was hoping to use my pictures for! Additionally, they sent 2 cds, a high and a low resolution, AND it came in a super cute packaging!

Ashley and Austin are extremely laid-back, energetic, and fun. If you are looking for extremely traditional and structured, I would say that they probably aren't the photographers for you!

Like most brides, when I think back on my wedding day…there would be a few things I’d definitely tweak or do differently all together! However, having Windy Peak Photography capture all the priceless moments is NOT one of my decisions I’d ever think of changing! With Windy Peak…you get not only one incredible photographer, but TWO!!! Ashley and Austin are husband and wife themselves, and together, make one heck of a team! It doesn’t take but just a few minutes of looking at some of their work for it to become very evident that they’re not your run-of-the-mill photographers. Ashley and Austin most certainly “bring a lot to the table” with both being so talented and passionate about their work, full of ideas, and having their own unique eye for one-of-a-kind creative shots! They are 100% professional, always punctual, and super friendly and fun! …In other words, they’ve been there, done that, and gotten married…they know what’s important and they strive to please…they ARE the total package!!!

Speaking of packages…they offer several to choose from and all are undoubtedly reasonably priced! My (now) husband and I opted for the package that included engagement, bridal, and wedding pictures. At our engagement shoot, we were both nervous and a little camera shy to say the least! Ashley and Austin worked wonders and within no time we were comfortable in front of the cameras and the photos turned out to be amazing! They seriously made us look like models…America’s Next Top Model, here we come! Ha! Our wedding day came and went in the blink of an eye, and somehow they managed to document it all…and then some! …And if for whatever reason, there is still any ounce of teeny tiny uncertainty in your mind to pick up the phone and call Windy Peak right now…GET THIS…they had all our photos edited, “prettified”, and ready for us to view in record time!!!

As you can tell, I am absolutely, positively, no-doubt-at-all-about-it SO glad that my husband and I chose to have Windy Peak as our photographer for such special occasions! Ashley and Austin are true artists and I would most definitely recommend them and their services!

ashley and austin did our whole wedding day from start to finish and all i have to say is amazing amazing amazing!!! this couple did such a wonderful job, they are certainly dedicated to their work and you can tell they love every minute of it. we got our pictures back in a very reasonable time, and was VERY happy with them. they came out better than i would of ever imagined. i never felt like i was just another client to them, they really make you feel special and important and i like that ;)

Austin and Ashley are a fantastic team to work with on your big day! Whether you know exactly what you want or you have no clue, they listen and they take great pictures!

They were so flexible to spend the whole day with us, from dressing to send off with no nickel-and-diming us. My favorite part was that it was as if I never knew they were at the wedding, they blend in and just get the shots and get out.

Tell them what you have in mind and these two are all over it. They are both also very responsive when you have questions or need to make a quick update- which is always good to a frazzled bride!

One of the most important aspects of my wedding was the pictures. I interviewed and researched so many photographers and thankfully came across Ashley and Austin. They were awesome and fit exactly what I was looking for. First, I loved the fact that I was getting two photographers. It was so nice having Ashley spend time with the girls getting ready and Austin with the guys. It was nice to not feel short-changed and get undivided attention before the wedding. Secondly, they were the only photographers interviewed that understood what pictures mean to a wedding and understood exactly what we wanted captured for our day. Our wedding album literally tells a story of the day and the quality was amazing. I have had countless people that attended the wedding ask who our photographers were because they were so good at being inconspicuous, yet getting awesome shots in the meantime. Our pictures are amazing! Lastly, Ashley and Austin are a breeze to work with and are willing to do anything for their costumers. It was very easy to talk to them and they felt more like friends than anything. Having gotten married in the past couple of years, Ashley knew firsthand what it felt like to be a bride and totally thought of things that I had never thought of and reminded me of things I would want pictures of after the fact..things that I might not have originally thought of. Austin is unbelievably professional and has an amazing eye for what looks good and natural backdrops for amazing pictures. He steers clear of cheesy poses and makes anyone look good.
You can't go wrong Windy Peak! I highly, highly recommend them!!

Ashley & Austin were awesome! We loved that they were a husband/wife team, which allowed for both a male and a female perspective. Having two photographers (for the price of one) also meant getting two different viewpoints for our "big moments". One of their best features is that they offer unlimited hours- which meant that every little detail of our big day was captured (from early morning hair and makeup to an impromptu afternoon wiffle ball game). Ashley and Austin were also so sweet and genuine, and they made everyone feel so comfortable- which resulted in some really genuine and creative candid shots. We have gotten so many compliments on our photos- every always asks, "Who was your photographer!?". We recommend Ashley & Austin enthusiastically, and look forward to working with them in the future!

Austin and Ashley were one of the best choices made for my daughter's special day. My daughter and her husband made the ultimate decisions on vendors, but as father of the bride (and check writer) I wanted to be sure they were spending my money wisely. And boy did they! Austin and Ashley were very professional but also very, very easy to get along with. It was actually a joy having them around throughout the entire experience! My daughter couldn't have been happier with the results and my family and I now have beautiful, sentimental images of that special day that we will cherish forever. Thank you for being fabulous photographers as well as great new friends!

They took a lot of great photos and didn't seem to mind all of the ridiculous photos I wanted. They offer two photographers for what some charge for just one. I am a big fan of getting the rights to the photos so I can print whatever I want whenever I get around to it instead of feeling the pressure to make my selections and shell out more money after just spending a lot on the rest of the wedding stuff.

They were easy going and mindful that I didn't want the same old photos that most other weddings wanted. We did all humor the parents for family photos, but that wasn't really the photographers choice or ours.

I like that they are a married couple and in my area too. The travel fee wasn't bad at all.

If we have a vow renewal, or pop out a kid, or find some reason to need photography, we would absolutely use them again. I highly recommend.

Ashley and Austin are awesome! We loved working with them. I could'nt have been happier having them as our photogs. Our pictures were great and we still cant stop looking at them. We plan on using them for our newborn shoots too:) We were lucky to have found them the way we did. After meeting with them we knew they fit us perfectly. I can highly recommend them to future brides!

Ashley and Austin are amazing! They were very professional and flexible. Even working with 4 kids under 5, they handled themselves worderfully.

We have only seen our blog photos so far, and people keep telling me how fabulous they are! I loved working with them and highly recommend them!

Windy Peak Photography is a great choice for wedding photography!! After searching for and meeting with many wedding photographers (and being completely shocked at the cost of wedding photography) they really gave us the most for our money, no one else even came close. Everything we wanted was able to be put into a package deal, including two photographers and unlimiited hours. They were always on time, one step ahead, and very professional. We had a ton of great pictures, and you never even knew they were there!! I would 100% recommend Austin and Ashley to anyone looking for wedding photography!

Working with Ashley and Austin was great! We had eloped and returned to Raleigh for a "hometown" reception and wanted a photographer who was laid back but energetic. Ashley met all of those qualities and thensome! We were very happy with the end product and would use them again!

Ashley and Austin were the photographers I chose after rummaging through 20+ websites and ads for wedding photographers. I had my wedding 11/12/11 at Castle McCulloch. They were so accommodating and understood my limited budget. They had very affordable packages with a high degree of professionalism and artistic eye. They are not amateurs. You can see talent in every shot they took at the wedding. I have gotten so many compliments on every photo and they captured everything I wanted them to. Ashley even helped me out when my bridesmaids failed to do so. She drove me to the venue from the hair salon! The photos were in and ready for viewing in less than a month and I can not be happier with how they turned out. These are my favorite memories and I would not have chosen any other photographers to take them. I will definitely be calling them again for family photos and when my husband and I start our family.
They provided all copy rights to me and gave me a cd with low and high resolution photos. I recommend their services to everyone. My maid of honor's mom commented-"I wish I chose a great photographer like Maha did for my wedding 30 years ago".

My husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased with Ashley of Bow Tie Collaborative. Even though there were some tough circumstances that Ashley had to deal with during our wedding planning time she handled the whole situation with bravery, poise, and dedication to her business. She brought in a team of two extra photographers to make sure everything went great on our wedding day which was very much appreciated.

Ashley was organized, professional, and fun to work with. Our photos turned out great!! We also just received our album proof and couldn’t be more excited about it. The fact that Bow Tie Collaborative works under a “shoot and share” philosophy (i.e. no watermarks) is awesome and getting to download all of the photos from the Pass program/account was a fantastic feature. We also really liked her blog feature to see highlights of our photos right after our wedding and the turnaround time for getting all of our photos was quite quick.

Overall, we would highly recommend Ashley of Bow Tie Collaborative to anyone!
