My husband and I recently had our wedding at Bourne Mansion, and we truly could not have asked for a more perfect experience.
From the very beginning of the planning process, Miriam was absolutely incredible. She was responsive, knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to answer our questions and help bring our vision to life. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but Miriam made the entire process feel manageable and stress-free.
On the wedding day itself, Matthew, Sam, and Nico were simply amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was exactly as we envisioned. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and calm presence allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our day. Everything ran so smoothly, and we always felt like we were in great hands.
Unfortunately, it was too cold for us to take many photos outside, but the venue itself is absolutely stunning. Bourne Mansion is breathtaking both inside and out, and our guests have not stopped talking about how beautiful it was. The mansion provides such an elegant and timeless backdrop that it made our wedding feel truly special.
The food was another highlight. As most brides can probably relate, I didn't get a chance to eat much during the wedding, but our guests certainly did! We received countless compliments about both the cocktail hour and dinner. Everyone left full, happy, and incredibly satisfied. If they're available on the menu, I highly recommend the Short Ribs and the Long Island Duck Breast—our guests absolutely loved them.
Thank you to Miriam, Matthew, Sam, Nico, and the entire Bourne Mansion team for helping create a wedding day that exceeded our expectations. We will always look back on our experience with gratitude and would highly recommend Bourne Mansion to any couple looking for a beautiful venue and an exceptional staff.

The most perfect day
Bourne Mansion was the most perfect venue for our timeless and elegant wedding vision. Once you step into the Bourne Mansion you are in awe of all its beauty. The food is out of this world and our guests are still raving about our most special day. Having the mansion all to our selves the day of was amazing. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the night! (Miriam and Sam you out did yourselves!!). I cannot wait to get my wedding pictures back to be able to go back to the most beautiful day of my life. I could not recommend this venue enough to anyone looking to have your vision come to life.

Fairytale Wedding and Exceptional Staff
My husband and I had a fairytale wedding at Bourne Mansion in January, 2026. We knew the day was going to be amazing, but it was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. The staff worked extremely hard to keep the day running smoothly and to allow the bride and groom to stay in the moment. The bridal attendant, Sam was extremely attentive and anticipated my needs without me having to ask. The maitre d, Reed, was very professional and polite and gave us periodic timeline updates and checked in with us to make sure the event was set up as we desired. The staff at Bourne Mansion did a fantastic job of setting up our decor and working with my maid of honor to tweak the placement of decorations. They also were extremely efficient at packing up all of our belongings at the end of the night. They even sent us home with all of the leftover wedding cake, dessert, and dinners. We did not need to lift a finger. Throughout the process, my husband and I worked with Miriam for planning. She was wonderful to work with and gave her honest opinions and was very helpful. She was more than willing to answer all of my detailed questions so that I could plan the wedding day. Bourne Mansion is a one of a kind, gorgeous venue that will truly amaze your guests. It is beautiful even without any decoration added to it. We had an indoor ceremony in the oak room. It felt extremely classy. We also chose to get the uplighting package, and it was really worth it. It completely set the ambiance of the ballroom and gave it the right amount of lighting so that it did not feel dark. It added a very elegant effect. Our guests have been raving about the food at the cocktail hour and dinner with many of our vegetarian friends telling us the vegetarian dinner option was the best wedding meal they had ever had. We chose to add the Italian Station onto our cocktail hour, which was delicious. I recommend you attend one of the Bourne Mansion showcases to get discounts on the cocktail food add-ons and to try it out in advance. We had selected the chateaubriand with the five peppercorn sauce, Bourbon maple glazed salmon, horseradish crusted chicken with sweet potato risotto, and cauliflower steak for our dinner options. All were fantastic. We are so thrilled to have had our wedding day at Bourne Mansion and cannot recommend it enough! Everything from the venue, to the food, to the staff was amazing.

Our wedding on July 13, 2024, was truly unforgettable, and we can’t say enough good things about the day. We searched all over Long Island for a venue that would stand out from the rest, and that search led us to Bourne Mansion. From the moment we booked in October 2023, everything ran smoothly. If you’re a bride who feels the weight of making sure every detail is perfect, you’re in great hands with Miriam and her team. They guide you through every step of the planning process with frequent check-ins, vendor recommendations, and invaluable advice.
When it came time to select our menu, we were blown away by everything at the tasting and had trouble choosing. Miriam's expert guidance helped us make those big decisions with confidence. Steve, our Maitre D, was exceptional—professional, fun, and on top of every detail. He and Nicolette, our bridal attendant, were always nearby to ensure everything went off without a hitch. The food was delicious, the drinks were flowing, and there was never a line at the bar. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the day, and we are so grateful we chose Bourne Mansion as our wedding venue. Highly highly recommend this venue!!

A perfect day at the Bourne!!
I had the wedding of my dreams at the Bourne Mansion. The whole team went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect day. Miriam was so helpful and responsive leading up to the wedding answering all my questions, Steve orchestrated the whole day like I've never seen before, and Nicolette helped make sure I was always taken care of. The whole Bourne team is absolutely amazing and I cannot thank them enough. My parents, in-laws, and all of our guests were all so impressed with how Steve ran the whole show, the endless delicious food (including cheese wheel, sushi station, martini ice luge, circulating oyster shucker, all the entrees, donut wall, late night snacks and more!), and the just how beautiful the venue is. Our outside ceremony moved seamlessly into a cocktail hour, followed by reception in the ballroom, and then after party throughout the other rooms. I could not recommend the Bourne more and would choose it again over and over! You can trust that you're in amazing hands with this team.

The Day of our Dreams
It is hard to overstate how spectacular our experience was at Bourne Mansion. Breathtaking grounds, stunning interiors, sumptuous cuisine, however, the service provided by the dedicated and talented staff is what made the whole more than even the sum of its parts. Kindness, professionalism, and organization every step of the way; including guidance through the planning process by Miriam. Everyone was excellent, but I must mention our maitre d', Jake, who went above and beyond in every way, making us comfortable and attending to our guests. The day went off spectacularly, he has a true talent for managing events and we were beyond delighted. Our guests can't stop talking about the food, service, and beautiful interiors and grounds of this venue.
If we could get married again, we would do it all over just the same way.
We couldn't have dreamed of a better day to celebrate our love.

Amazing Experience!
We had our wedding at the Bourne Mansion, and it was an absolutely stunning venue. The beautiful outdoor ceremony and the grand ballroom for the reception created the perfect setting for our dream wedding. The staff was incredible, and the food was superb. Everyone raved about the many options during the cocktail hour, making it a highlight of the evening.
Miriam, the director of sales, was fantastic. She answered all our questions and provided excellent recommendations. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, she consistently responded promptly, helping us feel confident and well-prepared.
Steve was the Maitre D’, and he did an outstanding job ensuring everything ran smoothly and timely throughout the day. He took his responsibilities very seriously and worked hard to ensure we had the perfect night. Steve provided helpful advice and helped us resolve any issues that arose, both big and small.
Overall, the Bourne Mansion exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue.

My dream wedding day!
I cannot put into words how amazing it was to work with each person at the Bourne mansion. We got married on June 7, 2024 and the day was an absolute dream. From the day we met Miriam, she assured us that our wedding day was going to be spectacular, and it was that and MORE! She was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, answering any and all questions. She always led us in the right direction and had the best recommendations! Steve was our Maitre D, and he was absolutely incredible. He ensured that the schedule was followed and assisted each and every step of the way. He was very organized and not a beat was missed! Him and the bridal attendant worked so well with myself, my family, and bridal party so well the night of the wedding, i could not have asked for it to be run any smoother!
Our experience with the Bourne mansion was absolutely incredible, and I wouldn’t change a single thing! Spring Wedding
We had the perfect wedding day at the Bourne Mansion. Miriam and Steve were so communicative, friendly and caring to my husband and I throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. They made sure we would have the best experience possible.
Our bridal attendant Nicolette was with us the entire night to ensure we had everything we needed or wanted the day of.

Amazing venue
My husband and I got married at Bourne Mansion on 4/13/24 with about 210 guests. I truly cannot say enough on how amazing this venue is—from the first time I emailed Miriam in early 2023 to our wedding day, everything was perfect. Miriam was a dream to work with and she helped us with planning every step of the way and was on top of our wedding timeline perfectly. She responds so quickly too! Steve was our maitre d on the day of our wedding and all I can say is WOW. He managed to keep the night moving perfectly on time despite us having a wedding party of 20+ people. He listened to what we had wanted to do in terms of our entertainment vendors and he made it happen. He took care of my husband and I throughout the entire night as well—I’m pregnant and he would literally find me on the dance floor and hand me a glass of water to drink. Nicolette was my bridal attendant and she was incredible as well!! Our guests were so blown away by the venue, the cocktail hour, the ball room—absolutely everything! It was the most perfect night and much of it was thanks to Bourne and its staff!

The best of Long Island
I've been photographing weddings at Bourne Mansion for almost 10 years, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate the staff at Bourne Mansion. Miriam, Steve and Jake - all wonderful people who wear their heart on their sleeve.
Each wedding has ran smoother than any other wedding venue I've been to. Always on time, and the parting is always jamming! Steve takes all the time to be approachable to his couples, and provides a level of service I haven't seen at other wedding venues. He's a wonderful, big personality that I've come to really enjoy being around, and he's a staple at Bourne Mansion.
Looking forward to many more weddings here at the best wedding venue on Long Island!

The Bourne Mansion is absolutely incredible ! The old world elegance is timeless . Thanks to the entire staff we had the wedding of our dreams. We are still receiving phone calls about how beautiful the wedding was. Everyone keeps telling us from the food , to the service to every small detail in between that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Miriam was such a pleasure to work with during the whole booking process. We live in Florida and needed to plan a wedding in two months time. Miriam made that whole process stress free . The day of the wedding Steve made sure everything ran on time and everyone was where they needed to be and when. The entire day ran smoothly. We had our wedding at Bourne Mansion on Saturday and the venue exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms are stunning, the staff are incredible, and the food was outstanding. Simply The Best
If you book this venue, trust that your wedding will be unlike any other you or your guests have ever been to. Everything was breathtaking, the service was phenomenal, the grounds are so beautiful, it really felt like a dream come true. Miriam made the whole process easy and wonderful. The staff at Bourne really do have everything under control. We had Steve as our maitre’d and he was 100% on top of everything and had us laughing the whole night too. He had everyone on schedule and made my husband and I feel like royalty the entire night. Sam my bridal attendant was incredibly sweet and always by my side asking if I needed anything. My husband and I are vegan and they made a delicious dinner option for us. Our guests said the food was amazing - especially the meatballs at cocktail hour! Everyone is still raving to us and our parents about how great our wedding was!!

My fairy tail come true
Better than I could have ever dreamed of! Miriam is absolutely amazing and walked me through each process with recommendations and answered my questions any time of day. Steve is beyond words! He was our maître d’ and I was absolutely blown away. We felt like royalty on our wedding day. Anything we needed, our entire timeline, helping with my dress, legitimately anything that could have been a worry was taken care of by Steve or Sam our bridal attendant. We just had our wedding at the Bourne Mansion this past Saturday, July 22nd. We had the best experience and I would highly recommend this venue + team to make your wedding day special. Miriam sold us from day one and was incredible throughout the months of planning - truly the best and made sure to answer all of my questions in a timely manner along the way. Absolutely wonderful venue and the staff are even better. Miriam guided me through my entire wedding planning process, she was my fairy godmother. Available at all times and always helpful and pleasant. My questions were always answered and never judged, can’t imagine having gone through that without her.
Steve was my maitre d and he was an absolute pleasure. My wedding party was quite challenging to work with, excitement and all and Steve managed to keep them in check and guide us through the entire day without a hitch! I can not say this enough, but he was exactly what we needed. He literally held my hard at times and made sure everything ran smoothly. From rehearsal dinner to the day of I couldn’t have asked for someone better to work with.

I just had my wedding at the Bourne Mansion on Friday! Let me tell you, everything was absolutely beautiful!! Steve, Miriam and the whole Bourne Mansion team are so amazing, helpful and professional. Miriam was so incredible and helpful in the planning process and helped address all of my questions or confirming all details. Steve was absolutely amazing the day of and the few days leading up to the wedding. He truly had our back and ensured our day ran so smoothly and that all details of the day were in place. He was amazing to work with and ensured that not only our guests were taken care of but that my husband and I were taken care of and guided to where we needed to be and our wedding party as well.
The whole Bourne Mansion team is truly on point with every little detail and helped provide advice and information before we confirmed decisions about our special day. They made me feel at ease just knowing how professional and organized they are down to the little details.
We can’t get over how beautiful the wedding was there and our guests only had such positive things to say!

We love Bourne Mansion!
Absolutely incredible!!!! We had the most amazing wedding reception experience at Bourne Mansion. The venue is beautiful, of course, and the staff is even better. Miriam was our initial point of contact and she helped us through the entire process to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams and was so helpful with all of our requests and needs throughout the journey. On the day of, our maitre’d Steven and bridal attendant Nicolette were incredible! They helped make sure that everything ran according to schedule and that we had everything we needed, so we were able to truly just enjoy the night and time with our family and friends. Steven is a must to make your wedding day run smoothly, he truly was the glue that held the entire day together! The food was also fantastic - we had lots of different stations and passed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, as well as late night snacks for our after party in the mansion at the end of the night. All of our guests said that they loved everything and were blown away! We couldn’t recommend Bourne Mansion and their team enough!

Dream Come True!
we had 164 guests total and it truly was the perfect amount. The mansion was just stunning and the food was amazing. Our guests are still raving about the food! Our guests loved being able to wander around the various rooms and feel like they’re in the Great Gatsby. Bournes staff and Maitre D were also incredible. They ensured we had a drink in our hands the entire time and just overall made us feel like royalty. The entire booking and planning process was simple and seamless. Bourne mansion made our wedding dreams truly come true.

Beautiful Venue and an Exceptional Team
I got married on 10/27/2022 to my best friend! The venue is gorgeous but one of the biggest reasons my now-husband and I chose to have our wedding at Bourne was thanks to Miriam. She was our initial point of contact and was so responsive and worked with us on making sure we could have the wedding of our dreams. She was helpful, provided realistic advice, and accommodating with our requests. The day of coordinator we had was Steve -- he was on point the entire night. We met with him the day before our wedding to go over our wedding timeline, and we were anxious that there wasn't enough time but Steve made sure we felt comfortable and he made sure that our wedding day went as smoothly as possible! Steve was timely, gathered and directed people accordingly, and made sure that my husband and I were happy! A big thank you to those superstars! For those interested in the food --- my guests were very impressed with cocktail hour and the dinner entrees my husband and I had were absolutely delicious (I had the Braised Short Rib and my husband had the Bourbon Maple Salmon)! One tip for foodie couples -- you might not be able to enjoy cocktail hour in the midst of photos and entertaining your guests so Steve will have a plate of cocktail food in the bridal suite ready for you BUT if you're like me, and you still aren't able to have a moment to enjoy the food -- ask him to pack it up for you to enjoy when you return to the hotel!! Sadly my husband and I asked too late so the food had already been cleared, but if tasting cocktail hour food is important -- definitely ask for it to get packed!

Incredible Venue and team!
We had our dream wedding at the Bourne Mansion in August 2021 and were extremely pleased with the results. The entire team can easily be defined as true professionals. Their responsiveness, flexibility, and efficiency make you feel comfortable in the planning process and their focus and attention to detail in the night of execution is impeccable. Miriam was incredibly warm, possesses a strong taste level, and was easy to work with, offering great advice and was always someone we looked forward to seeing during our planning meetings. Steve was phenomenal and ensured the event went perfectly!! He catered to our every need at the wedding and was always accessible. Thank you for everything Bourne Mansion, we thoroughly enjoyed our wedding and highly recommend!

The best wedding
I knew from the second I walked into the Bourne Mansion that we had to have our wedding there. The rooms are STUNNING - every room has a different feel to it and it makes the whole place so unique.
We were lucky enough to have the ceremony outside, which I was dying for. The weather was perfect, the backyard is picturesque and beautiful. They go above and beyond keeping the gardens immaculate.
The staff was also AMAZING! Miriam could tell how much I loved the place and every conversation I had with her just made me more and more excited for the big day. Steve took over during our week of planning, and made my fiancé and I feel so secure. He is the kindest drill sergeant you could ever meet, and was exactly what this nervous bride wanted! Every text and email was answered so promptly, even the ones that came after the wedding about a forgotten pair of suit pants :) The staff was great as well, and the FOOD. Every guest commented on how delicious everything was. It's two days after our wedding and we're still finishing up our extra entrees :)
I cannot recommend the Bourne Mansion enough. I absolutely loved our day and am crossing my fingers that we can attend a wedding there in the near future!

Amazing Venue and Incredible team!!!
My husband and I got married at Bourne Mansion on April 2, 2022 and it was more amazing then we could have ever imagined. The mansion itself is spectacular – from the décor, to the outdoor grounds, to the beautiful rooms – it is one of the most beautiful venues on Long Island. The staff and everyone who works at the mansion are incredible. Miriam was such a delight to work with – she was always available whenever we had questions or wanted to come in and speak with her in person. My husband and I and our mothers truly enjoyed meeting and getting to know Miriam. She went above and beyond for us and we are forever grateful. The staff who worked with us on the actual day of the wedding, led by Steve, were all so professional and attentive to our and our guests needs. Steve made sure everything ran smoothly and perfectly. He was attentive to details and he made us all feel at ease that the wedding was running smoothly. He also made sure that my husband and I had the time of our lives and we are so thankful to him for making our wedding day as special as it was. The level of service and attention to detail at the Bourne Mansion is the reason why my husband and I were able to be present in each moment of our special day. Additionally, we received so many compliments from our guests about the wedding – including how amazing the food was! There an abundance of food during the cocktail hour – it was more then we ever expected and we were so pleased! We are so thankful to everyone at the Bourne Mansion for making our wedding day as incredible as it was and we could not recommend it enough!!!

From beginning to end and everything in between. If your shopping for a wedding venue, look no further! Bourne Mansion is THE ONLY place to celebrate your fairytale!! The warmth you feel as soon as you walk in the lobby is palpable.
Miriam and Steve are two of the best in the business and to work with both of them was a privilege! They left no stone unturned.
If there was an option to give this magnificent place and the people who work there, a 100 star rating, that's what I would rate it!!
You can keep your castles!! Bourne is the only place to celebrate!!

A Dream Wedding Venue
When we got engaged back in 2019, and set my eyes on the Bourne Mansion, we knew that was the place, as it was similar to Dorothy seeing the Emerald City for first time. Our dream wedding was realized on October 28th, and I will never forget this beautiful day, as it's etched in my mind forever. Please remember, it took "a village" like Miriam my Event Planner, whose attention to detail and countless hours setting the foundation, was magnificent. On my magical day, Steve Melita the Maitre D, choreographed the event like a skilled conductor of a symphony, where no stone was left unturned. Miriam and Steve's efforts were stellar. Furthermore, sprinkle in the wedding attendant Jennifer....... and the tremendous staff, made this a wedding you see in Beverly Hills. I can't forget the magnificent flower arrangements dripped in crystals provided by Something Blue. To my amazing vendors Absolute Entertainment, Park Avenue Studio, Melinda Cantor, Campbells Bakery, Beauty Mark Spa, made this a complete masterpiece. Therefore it is with sincere honor, and without reservation, I write my review.

Steve and Staff
My husband and I got married at Bourne Mansion on 10/30/21 and it was truly spectacular. The grounds and the mansion speak for themselves, I don't think there is another venue like it on Long Island. The staff, led by Steve Melita (General Manager of Lessing's Inc.), ran like a well-oiled machine--nothing like I had ever seen before. My every thought and action seemed to have already been anticipated by Steve and his staff and taken care of completely. This level of service and attention to detail is the reason why my husband and I were TRULY able to be present in each and every moment of our special day with our family and loved ones. I am not sure how ANYONE has a wedding without Steve Melita, he alone is enough of a reason to check out Bourne Mansion a possible setting for your big day!

Best Wedding Ever
I seriously cannot thank Miriam and Steve enough for making me and my husband's wedding dreams come true. Miriam is patient, kind and truly caring. You can tell she wants you to have the best night of your life and will help you plan every detail of your wedding. Where to begin with Steve? He was my maître d' the night of my wedding and things could not have gone better. Always trust Steve's judgment. He is really there to help guide you to have the most epic, smooth running wedding ever! I really did not have a worry in the world the night of my wedding because I knew Steve would be there to handle it. Overall I cannot thank (or recommend) the Bourne Mansion enough for everything they have done for us. One postponement due to COVID and they have been by our side throughout the whole process.

A Fairytale Wedding
Did you ever fantasize about a fairytale wedding? After looking through tons of venue websites, Bourne jumped to the top of the list. It was the first we visited and we knew right away it was where we were supposed to get married. We did due diligence, but after the other tours, it was clear there was only one right choice. Miriam was a dream to work with. So kind, sweet, supportive. She was there to help whenever you needed it. She was also so honest. She shot straight on things we did and didn’t need, where to allocate our budget, recommendations on vendors, etc. The food was fantastic- an incredible selection of cocktail hour station and passed hors d’oeuvres; delicious entrées; a mind blowing dessert display; and we had a bacon, egg & cheese to go station. The service was impeccable. They serve everyone at each table at the same time (6 servers with a plate in each hand place them down simultaneously). The mansion itself if gorgeous. It starts with a long drive up the driveway, the whole time soaking in the mansion. On our wedding day, several deer were running across the perfectly green front lawns. The back of the mansion is the perfect place for both an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour if the weather is nice. Just look at the shots on the website. Such a beautiful backdrop. And there are a ton of great places for pictures both in and outside. The bridal attendant (Nicolette) was fantastic. Always by my wife’s side and ready to assist in any way possible. The maître ds (Matt aka Doc) and Jake were brilliant. They meticulously coordinated everything like a well-rehearsed play. And they were both so nice. Our parents all brought up how much they liked them—I’ve never been to a wedding where the maître d was complimented until this. The team at Bourne is unbelievably top notch. Overall, I could not recommend Bourne enough.

Absolute Perfection!
My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at Bourne Mansion on 9/2/21. Look no further for a venue that delivers spectacular beauty (both indoors and outdoors), amazing food and phenomenal, professional staff. From the start, Bourne met and exceeded all of our expectations. Miriam is so much more than what her official title says. Her guidance and support throughout the entire planning process was invaluable. She was always available to answer questions and offer her recommendations which I was extremely grateful for. Our wedding was postponed due to COVID and Miriam was so helpful with that process. She did everything in her power to put our minds at ease that no matter what our wedding would be perfect and she was right. She and the entire staff at Bourne delivered!!! We met with Steve the Maitre D a few days prior to our wedding. Steve is an expert at making sure you have the most fun, seamless, amazing night at your wedding and he is truly an expert at his job. He helped us plan the timeline for the evening and made sure that every aspect of our day was perfectly executed. Thanks to Steve, my husband and I did not have to worry about a single thing during our wedding and were truly able to soak it all in and enjoy the evening. We had a BLAST. I have also heard that Steve was attentive to our parents and other guests needs throughout the night, problem solving throughout the night and making sure that everyone felt taken care of. All of the food we had was absolutely phenomenal! Some of the best I've ever had at a wedding. We've received so many compliments about the food, the beauty of the venue and the professional staff. I am so happy that I had my wedding at Bourne Mansion. I honestly only have amazing things to say. My entire experience was amazing. I highly recommend this venue and this team!

Awesome Venue! Awesome Staff! Perfect Wedding!
Mother of the Bride.... 9/4/2021. When we first set foot at the Bourne, in July 2019, we immediately felt that sense of a warm, vintage, classy environment, which would be the perfect setting for our daughter, Allyson's, wedding. The mansion is absolutely gorgeous and charming!!!
Meeting and working with Miriam, the Mansion Director, throughout the entire process was truly a delight. She was like my fairy godmother, holding my hand throughout the entire planning process. Unfortunately, our wedding was postponed due to Covid (like many others), but Miriam worked flawlessly to help me reschedule our date and vendors to 9/4/2021. And what a wedding we had!!
Miriam has such a warm, inviting personality, and answered all of my questions and concerns at any time, even when she had a day off! We were even chatting about details late one Thursday evening !!! Who does that??? I could not have had this exquisite event without her right by my side.
And of course, Steve, our maitre d, met with us several days before the wedding, finalizing our timeline and details. His professionalism and expertise were evident throughout the entire affair which he executed impeccably. Steve was so attentive to every detail and took care of my every concern. He treated our guests (including me, the mother of the bride, and the bride and groom ) with utmost perfection.
Our wedding day was perfect form the very beginning to the very end!
Our guests are raving about the entire affair, including the charming Bourne Mansion, the food, the staff's professionalism, the decor, the outdoor ceremony, and every little detail that made our wedding so so special.
Thank you Bourne, and a special thanks to Miriam and Steve.
We could not have had the wedding of our dreams without you!

Had our dream wedding here last Friday and everything was above and beyond outstanding!!!! From Miriam being available at all hours of the day/night and helping us along the way for the past year; to our Maître D Steve the day of being absolutely outstanding and so fun!!! They know how to get the job done and they know how to do it right. The service, quality, food, staff, location everything is impeccable. The guests won't stop talking about the quality of food and how amazing it was; to the beauty of the grounds. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. I wish I could re-live it and go back that's how much I miss it there!!! 10/10

Perfect day thanks to an incredible event and staff
I got married at the Bourne Mansion on May 15, 2021 and it was perfect! I was a Covid bride who had to unfortunately reschedule the big day from 2020. As soon as we went to Bourne for a site visit, I completely fell in love with the vintage glam environment and envisioned myself as a bride there! In the beginning, my only concern was whether the food would be amazing or not because they do not do any tastings beforehand – word to the wise, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. Our guests are still raving about how professional the team was and how incredible our cocktail hour, dinner, and Viennese dessert room (do it, it is completely worth it) was! Working with Miriam was one of my favorite parts about this venue. She was so helpful and a complete pleasure to work with and bounce ideas off of even when we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid. She has such a warm personality and had the best suggestions for our best day. Then our maitre’d for the big day was Steve who was equally amazing! Let me tell you what surprised me the most about the Bourne staff leading up to and especially on the day of my wedding, they all actually cared about making it the most seamless and perfect day for me. You would think that they would be over it since it is weddings all the time, but that is not the case. Steve was so excited for us and took our day so seriously to make us feel extra special even with the covid rules that was still in effect at the time. Even as there was a minor flaw in the evening (no one else noticed aside from the two of us) by the DJ, Steve was already on it. Also, we had a few cultural elements in our ceremony that the venue happily accommodated. The support that we received from the entire staff and the seamless execution of our big day was unmatched. I highly recommend Bourne Mansion for your big day!

A partner, not a vendor!
When I first toured the Bourne Mansion I knew immediately that this was where I wanted to tie the knot. The venue was absolutely stunning and although we had additional venues on to tour, I knew we had our location. What we did not realize was how amazing Miriam, the Director at the mansion, would be. For the whole year Miriam was there every step of the way working with us and helping us plan to make every aspect of our night perfect. We were due to be married in early March and had to make the painful decision to cancel the wedding the week of(!) due to the pandemic... The weeks leading up to that decision were some of the most stressful and difficult I have had to deal with but Miriam was with us every step of the way. She let us know she supported any decision we made while also being as accommodative and flexible as a business could be to help us pull if off. As I said, we ultimately decided to cancel indefinitely as we had guests flying in from all over the country as well as a number of family who were especially vulnerable. Miriam worked with us through this whole process and was completely understanding. Right now we're still trying to determine when we can re-plan our wedding amongst all of the uncertainty but one thing is sure, The Bourne Mansion is our pick. I can't review the wedding night or any services we would have received but I can tell you that the venue and the grounds are absolutely beautiful and our experience working with Miriam was the next best thing. Planning a wedding is difficult enough, having a venue with someone who will help you with the tough decisions every step of the way is a huge benefit. Thank you Miriam!

Beautiful Venue
When I first stepped foot into the Bourne Mansion I knew this was the place I wanted to get married. The beautiful driveway, breathtaking grand ballroom, and unique rooms for cocktail hour truly made this venue stand out from all the others. I wanted us and our guests to have a special experience, and I felt Bourne was able to deliver that (and more) to us and them.
Miriam was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She was patient with us, guided us through selections, was prompt in her responses, and so very kind and helpful. As a bride, I found her expertise to be such an asset; she got to know my husband and I throughout the process and gave great advice throughout planning and was spot-on with the estimated budget she gave us the first day we met with her. Miriam was up front with us, while also being warm and kind. I was so happy I got to see her for a minute the day of our wedding and that she got to see my vision come to life after a year of planning and talking to her about it.
Steve was our maître d. We met with him about a week or two before our wedding to finalize timeline and details. My husband and I felt that we were extremely well taken care of and that we were his utmost priority. He has a schedule that he’s perfected from years in the business, but seamlessly worked with my husband and I when it was important for us to do one or two things in a different order than what he initially proposed. We deferred to Bourne’s staff for their professionalism and expertise throughout the planning process and are so glad we did. I know a lot of people must say this, but for my husband and I, our wedding day was perfect from start to finish.
Much of that perfection is due to the staff at Bourne, and we are forever indebted. We were lucky enough to get a dusting of snow on our Winter wedding day. While my husband and I were taking pictures outside, Jennifer, my bridal assistant, walked the entire driveway to make sure we had hot tea and whatever else we needed. Also, in the moment right before my husband and I were to be announced into the ballroom, my husband stepped on my dress which broke my bustle. Steve called for Jennifer and she flew in out of nowhere and fixed it in a matter of seconds! We didn’t skip a beat and our guests were none the wiser. Steve truly catered to my husband and I throughout the night --- he made sure we had plenty of water, drinks, and that we actually sat to eat food; and, of course, that things ran on time. The staff was so kind to us; all of our decorations were placed perfectly as per my instructions and packed up neatly at the end of the night to take home.
One of the things that my husband particularly loved about Bourne was the fact that we got to enjoy the cocktail hour with our guests. The food was delicious, and the staff had plates from the various stations we chose upstairs in the bridal suite for us to enjoy before the reception started. We particularly loved the paella station for cocktail hour. Overall, the food was outstanding. Favorites at dinner were the filet and the seared tuna. We opted for a Viennese hour and both us and our guests were blown away the sheer amount of cake and cookies that were provided (it literally filled a room)!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my wedding day better than I could have anticipated. Bourne Mansion will hold a special place in our hearts.

Incredible Venue with Phenomenal Staff!
The Bourne Mansion is incredible in every way! When my fiancé and I chose the Bourne, we did so because of their beauty, presentation, and historical old world charm that is truly unique and one of a kind! Never in a million years did we imagine that our wedding which was scheduled for March 27, 2020 would end up being postponed due to Covid19. As you can imagine, this was an extremely difficult and anxious time. Despite this set of circumstances which were completely out of our control, Miriam Aronson and the phenomenal staff at the Bourne mansion, went above and beyond for us in our team of need! They were immediately responsive and miraculously did everything in their power to seamlessly arrange our new wedding date. Most importantly, they set all of our worries and concerns at ease. There are no words that can describe how truly grateful we are to the Bourne Mansion.

Effortless planning, perfect execution
If you are considering booking your wedding at the Bourne Mansion, DO IT NOW! Seriously, consider this a sign and book it right now. I am floored by how perfect our wedding was. Working with Miriam to plan was a breeze - she kept us on track and answered all of our tons of questions quickly and patiently. Closer to the wedding, we worked with Steve to work out our exact day-of timeline, which was also a breeze. We left every meeting with the team feeling so confident that our day would be exactly what we wanted and that we had every detail handled. Steve and Nicolette were with us day-of, and I've never felt to well taken care of. We didn't have to worry about ANYTHING - they knew exactly what to do and anticipated our needs. Plus, they are both super fun! One of the great things about the Bourne is that you have the run of the entire mansion during your wedding. This means that during the reception, if guests want to take a break from dancing (or are old and don't like loud music so much), they have their choice of quiet, beautiful rooms that still feel part of the party to hang out in (with seating!). Compliments from our guests were effusive during the wedding and after. The Bourne truly delivers an exceptional wedding experience.

Amazing!!!
When we were looking for venues I started looking at rustic barns/vineyards and quickly learned we had too many guests for those types of venues.
I didn’t want a ‘typical’ wedding and was skeptical when my sister told me to look at the Bourne Mansion.
The day we went to visit I was in awe! Pulling in the long tree lined driveway up to the mansion and walking through the doors, listening to the music playing, I immediately fell in love. The ballroom was out of this world and the views out onto the water outside were incredible.
We were lucky enough to get married outside on the lawn on a beautiful day and one of our guests said during the cocktail hour “I feel like I’m in a movie scene from the Great Gatsby” and I couldn’t have said it better!
During the year of planning we worked with Miriam who was invaluable, providing helpful planning tips and recommending vendors, she was always available and happy to answer any question.
On the day of, Steve was our Maitre D’. Steve was amazing throughout the day. He was like a drill Sargent going over the schedule for the day and was AMAZING to us. The entire day he made sure we were having a great time, and that we always had a drink and we got to eat something!
All of our guests were completely blown away and many said it was the nicest venue they had ever been too
I am so happy we chose to get married here, it was the most magical night and a great overall experience. I highly recommend!

Best wedding ever!
There is no place like the Bourne Mansion! Our wedding was on 11/30/19 and we still can’t get over how perfect how wedding was. The Bourne Mansion was the first venue we looked, and after looking at about 15 other places – there was nothing that compared – the Bourne is magical! Miriam, the Director of Mansion sales was AMAZING to work with. Even from our first meeting she was giving us helpful ideas for the day of our wedding. She is very honest, gives sincere opinions from everything with the center pieces to food options to bathroom baskets, and even tells you when she doesn’t think something is worth the money. The week before the wedding – I spoke to her almost every day going over everything to make sure we were covered – she went above and beyond to make herself available. Our Maitre D Steve made sure everything ran extremely smooth. He worked with all of our vendors so that everything was on time and most of all – that me and my husband were able to have fun! He really knows exactly what he is doing and really makes you feel special! The guests are still raving about how beautiful the mansion is and how amazing the food was! (The Filet Mignon with the gorgonzola crust was a huge crowd pleaser!) The ballroom really looks magical when it is all set up – me and my husband couldn’t get over it! The high ceilings make the ballroom breathtaking! Miriam and Steve really make you feel like you are family and made the whole wedding process so fun for me and my husband and our families. They truly make the day so special for you. I would recommend the Bourne 1000%! I hope one day I’m able to be a guest at a wedding at the Bourne!!

Get married at Bourne or don't bother.
Dealing with Bourne has been a pleasure from beginning to end. Miriam was absolutely amazing while planning this event- her advice was priceless and she was basically on-call to help us whenever we needed her.
On the day of the wedding, the second we set foot onto Bourne property, Steve had our back. He is an intense guy, maybe intimidating at first, but he's the best. Steve and his whole team were like a machine. They anticipated our needs and had drinks in our hands and food in our mouths before we even realized we needed it. In the chaos of your wedding day, you need a staff like this to make sure you enjoy your party. My bridal attendant Asia was also INCREDIBLE, and helped me all night with my giant dress. She was maybe the MVP of the night for me.
The food and drinks at Bourne are probably the best I've ever had from a catering hall, and oh my god was there a ton of it. No one will leave hungry or sober. The place is gorgeous, the ballroom is amazing- what's not to like? If you aren't booking Bourne, you're doing your wedding wrong.

Wedding on 8/30/2019
There is really no place like Bourne Mansion. Being there makes you feel like you're at one of Gatsby's parties! The first time I visited, it was a rainy day. Even so, I still decided to book the venue because it was so perfect even in bad weather. From the very first day until our wedding day, the people at Bourne and Lessings were so friendly, accommodating, and helpful with the wedding planning process. The grounds are well kept with beautiful flowers that match every season. Inside, it is a very unique venue because you get to roam about the entire ground floor of the mansion during the duration of your party. There is a beautiful bridal suite and a rustic groom's suite which you can use for getting ready if you choose. They only host one wedding a day, which makes you feel like everyone has their full attention on making your day special. The food and drink selection was varied and delicious. I felt confident that every person who attended my wedding would find a food or drink that they would like since there were so many choices.
Leading up to the wedding, Miriam was the woman who helped coordinate all of the details and planning. All I can say is WOW! Not only is Miriam the sweetest person on the planet, but she is always available to answer your questions, even at 11:00 at night! She got along so well with my parents, my husband, and my in-laws. I felt 100% confident at all times knowing that Miriam was there for me. She was the perfect fit for us.
On the wedding day, Steve was our Maitre D. Again, all I can say is WOW!! Steve was attentive to every concern we had, and was able to keep the party moving smoothly so that we didn't miss out on anything on our wedding day. He even stood guard at our table so that we had 10 minutes to eat our dinner! Whoever said the bride and groom can't enjoy the food too didn't have Steve by their side!
I am so forever grateful to Miriam, Steve, and everyone at Bourne for making my wedding day the most memorable and perfect day. I couldn't have dreamed of anything better. Two months later, I am still hearing my guests rave about it!

Best wedding ever!
I visited 9 wedding venues prior to seeing Bourne Mansion. Bourne was the 10th and final wedding venue I visit and from the moment I walked through the door I knew it was the one! My fiancé and I met with Miriam and I will never forget she said to me the minute you walked through this door I saw your face and you will be a Bourne Bride and she was right. Our overwhelmed minds were suddenly soothed by Miriam understanding and calming demeanor.
Throughout the entire process Miriam was there to guide us and answer any questions or concerns we had. Our wedding was on 10/11/19 and it Bourne exceeded our expectations. The day went flawlessly from start to finish. The food, the rooms, the service everything was perfect. Steve the Maître D’, was great working with our rowdy bridal party and keeping them in line. I want to relive every moment of the night all over again. People are still coming to me telling me how wonderful the food was and the venue blew them away with its beauty. My wedding would not have been the same anywhere else.

Before I go into details about my experience at the Bourne, I want to give you some background on me.
I was the groom on 10/6/19 at the Bourne mansion. I am from Long Island NY and am an operations manager with Amazon. The reason why I share the work history is to highlight how impressed I was with the operation our Maître D’, Steve, ran. Every facet of our wedding ran extremely smoothly. From our photos to ceremony to reception. I went to a wedding a few weeks before mine and saw dirty plates at cocktail hour build up due to a lack of operational excellence by the venue.
If you want the best, you go to Steve at the Bourne, period.
Steve ensured my wife and I had an exceptional day and went above and beyond on everything.
During the reception he continued to check in on us and give us suggestions on how to enhance our night.
Prior to our wedding night, Miriam ensured we were set up for an amazing evening. The Bourne really has the best people to support bride and grooms.
The beauty, elegance and décor of the Bourne is breathtaking. I had a perfect day and would encourage any bride and groom to use the Bourne for their wedding as well.

Best Venue Ever!
I got married at the Bourne Mansion this past weekend and it was nothing short of perfect. The Venue was the flawless combination of pure elegance and beauty. I was specifically blown away from our Maître D’, Steve. He made our day go so smoothly and provided me with a sense of calm. You don’t realize every little detail and aspect that goes into the timeline of the wedding until the day of, but luckily Steve does. From the second we were greeted by Steve at the mansion, I felt like he had everything under control and I was able to enjoy our wedding day. He was well coordinated with all of our vendors and was able to direct them to where they needed to be. He made sure all of the bridal party and parents knew what to do and where to be the whole night. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all perfectly orchestrated just as I envisioned our dream wedding. On top of making sure everything ran smoothly, Steve was constantly checking on my husband and I, making sure our drinks were filled, food was on our plate, and we had everything we needed. Also, at the end of the night one of the buses left without people, so Steve brought us all beers and turned what could have been a crappy situation, into a fun one. We also worked with Miriam the entire time from the moment we chose the venue and she is just fabulous! I honestly don’t know how she does it and remains so calm with as many brides and grooms as she sees daily. She was a pleasure to work with and made our experience that much better. I am an out of state bride and any time I had a question, she was there to help me. Highly highly recommend the Bourne Mansion to anyone getting married!

Our dream wedding come true!
Bourne mansion made our dream wedding come true! We had a vision of what we wanted and not only did they meet that, they blew us away by exceeding our expectations. First Miriam, the director of Mansion Sales is everything you could ask for. She listens to your every need, she’s caring, she works with you to help your ideas come true and makes it better. Miriam was amazing to have and we are forever grateful for having her at Bourne. She gave us so many ideas and really helped us put together an elegant and beautiful wedding.
Steve is the area manager and we sat down with him a few days for our wedding. He gave us a complete rundown of how our wedding would look. We were fully informed on how our wedding day would look. He answered all our questions and handled any concerns we had. Our wedding day went exactly as Steve told us and it was perfect!
The staff at Bourne in our wedding day was one of the most delightful aspects of our day. They attended to every concern, every need, and made us feel so loved. They made sure we were never worried about anything which is great for a bride and groom. Jake our Maitre D’ was the best! Literally the greatest person we could have! He made us so happy and took care of everything, he was so great our guest even knew his name and knew the great job he was doing. He had every detail and request down perfectly. We had our expectations of our wedding but Jake and the staff at Bourne surpassed it. Jake goes above and beyond which is an amazing quality for someone who oversees your wedding day. Catherine our bridal attended and the staff that was with her who we can’t remember their names were also amazing! They were so attentive to everything we needed. They also spoke Spanish which was a big plus for our grand parents and some of our guests. Our bridal suite and groom suite were full with drinks and food immoderately and restocked. We can not show enough appreciation for the wedding day the Bourne staff gave us. Even our guest noticed how amazing the staff was. The food was perfect from cocktail hour to reception dinner everyone loved it. Compliments to the chef! If we could do our wedding all over again at Bourne we would! Thank you so much for our dream wedding!

Wedding of our Dreams
We recently had our wedding there this past July and cannot say enough amazing things about Bourne Mansion. We booked our venue about two years in advance and had the most incredible experience the entire time. Miriam is the most amazing point of contact and always answers every email and phone cll promptly and makes you feel important. She is also helpful with any bridal needs (especially for those girls like me without a planner!). Steve we had read comes off mean but he is the complete opposite. He is so on top of every single part of the wedding. We had a guest break a glass and Steve had it cleaned up in under a minute. He also made sure we always ate and had drinks - which seems unimportant until that day! The venue and food we are still getting raving reviews from friends and family and had over 230 people. Cocktail hour and main courses alike were fabulous - no complaints at all. At the end of the night Steve even gave us flowers to bring home,main courses, and cookies! My husband and I will never be able to thank them enough for providing us with the wedding of our dreams.I could go on and on for hours about each and every perfect part of the wedding, but as someone who never writes reviews I wanted to make sure every bride knows this venue really is as magical as it seems.

Dream wedding come true!
I truly cannot put into words how absolutely overjoyed my husband and I were that we picked the Bourne Mansion for our wedding! It was truly an experience like no other. When we first met Miriam she told us it was going to be a fairytale wedding and she was RIGHT. every. single. detail. was just perfect I couldn't ask for anything more. From the moment my husband and I arrived to take pictures with Steve greeting us at the entrance with two glasses of champagne to watching our guest's reactions as they walked into the venue, it was just out of this world.
Working with Miriam leading up to our wedding was an absolute joy and she was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Steve was a BLAST and kept the show running smoothly all day. If there were any issues behind the scenes we would have zero idea because Steve was on top of everything.
The food was out of this world. Appetizers like chicken and waffles and mini lobster rolls completely knocked it out of the park and the dinner and drinks were just phenomenal. The entire staff was friendly and professional and the venue is obviously breathtaking. I can't believe how lucky we were to have our wedding at the Bourne Mansion and I truly cannot recommend it highly enough.

The perfect venue
My now husband and I weren’t sure what we wanted when we started thinking about where we should get married. But after our first meeting with Miriam and touring the Bourne Mansion, we knew we found the place to say our “I do’s”. Miriam over the course of our wedding planning was so, so helpful. She answered all my silly questions, constantly provided me ideas, and was just as invested into every detail as we were. On the week of the wedding, we met with Steven (our maître d’) and boy were we blown away. It was evident that he knew exactly was he was doing, and we knew we were in good hands when it came to our wedding day. No minute went unaccounted for, and it was clear that the day would run smoothly. And sure enough, it did. From start to finish, Steven was by our side - organizing our bridal party/family/guests, grabbing drinks for us through the night, to overseeing all the staff and every other detail imaginable. I also had my bridal attendant, Desiree, who kept me calm and was the perfect helping hand. She was always there to make sure everything went smoothly. We truly felt spoiled. As a whole, the Bourne Mansion was a perfect venue for a dream wedding. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you again for everything!!

I’ll Always Smile When I Think of The Bourne

Five stars!
We got married on 4/6/19. I loved the Bourne and I’m very happy I was a Bourne bride. Miriam Aronson and Steve Melita were fabulous and a huge help throughout the process. Katherine is a great bridal attendant as well. Their professionalism, care and attention to detail was nothing short of fabulous. I thank them all and will forever be grateful.
The space is so grand and makes you feel like you’re in a gatsby mansion for sure.
The staff are very organized, and they help you to make sure you have thought about all of the little details as well.
The day of the wedding went very smooth, and I was very happy with that.
I would absolutely get married there all over again, if I had it all to do again. I just wish the reception lasted about 8 more hours. like everyone says, it goes too fast. Some of my fondest memories will be watching all of my loved ones dancing the night away in that grand ballroom. Oh, that ballroom.
The food was excellent and everyone said so. Get the short ribs!
We had them make egg sandwiches for everyone on the way out and everyone raves about them. I was told a number of times it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and that tickled me for sure 😊

Perfect March wedding!
My husband and I got married at Bourne Mansion on 3/23/19 and I cannot put into words how perfect it was, but I will try. We visited a ton of venues, but knew from the beginning that Bourne was "the one."
Venue - obviously beautiful, but we liked that it also has character and uniqueness - definitely not "cookie cutter." The backdrop is gorgeous and while we got married indoors (which worked out well), we made sure to take lots of pictures both indoors and outdoors. The ballroom is one of a kind and was plenty spacious for our ~200 guests.
Food - delicious. They have a wide range of options for cocktail hour and we got a lot of compliments from our guests about the food (especially the filet mignon), some even saying it's the best food they've ever had at a wedding! I highly recommend adding on some sort of late night "snack." We had hot pretzels on the way out and they were a hit!
Staff - spectacular. From the very beginning, Miriam was incredibly helpful and genuine. She guided me throughout the process and was very responsive to my many questions. I honestly couldn't have planned our wedding without her. When we met Steve (our maitre d), we knew we were in great hands. He helped set the run of show, kept everything running smoothly throughout the day and made sure we (and our parents) were taken care of the entire evening. My bridal attendant Catherine was excellent. She made sure I had everything I needed and helped with my dress, flowers, cake, etc.
All in all, magical! We will never forget our perfect wedding day thanks to Bourne!

The second that I walked into the Bourne Mansion I knew that it was the place we had been looking for, Miriam was an absolute dream to work with, she was honest right from the start, very what you see is what you get, there was no sales tactic-the Mansion speaks for itself and Miriam takes pride in what she does and loves it as much as her clients. Every time we met with her she was always happy and excited for us!
Fast forward to the day of and every single that we expected is what happened and then some. Steve is TOP NOTCH and knows his stuff. He made sure the day progessed perfectly, no hiccups, we got to sit and eat, he made sure we were good at all times, made sure we knew what was happening and when and where to go. I truly can not say enough good things about Steve, he is worth his weight in gold, he really wants to make sure that your wedding day is perfect and he accomplished that for us.
Every person that attended still tells us how great the wedding was and how good the food was which was very important to us, we absolutely had the best day ever and would highly recommend Bourne Mansion to anyone.

All we can say is Wow... we were married 9-8-18 at the Bourne Mansion and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We met with Miriam a year and a half before the wedding for the first time, and we never looked anywhere else. Nothing compares to the Bourne and what it has to offer. Miriam was an absolute pleasure to work with and I am sad that I won’t see her as often now that our wedding is over. There is not one negative thing that we can say about our experience with the Bourne Mansion. From the moment we met our maitre d Steve we were reassured once again that our wedding was going to be nothing short of spectacular. Steve has everything down perfectly and made everything run so smooth. Steve saw me with tears as the rain started and made sure I still had my dream outdoor wedding...he assured me that I had the choice on what to do and made sure that whatever I wanted is exactly what happened. Steve is beyond amazing, and made sure that we ate. You always hear stories of the bride and groom not being able to eat their meal, he sat us down with so much food, and also had the bridal suite stocked with cocktail hour food. The bridal attendant was also beyond amazing, she made me so comfortable and treated me like a friend, she was honestly one of the sweetest people I have met, always made sure I had a drink and food. I can go on and on about how amazing our experience was at the Bourne Mansion and I will recommend this venue over and over and over again. I can’t say thank you enough to all of the staff.

We were married at Bourne this July and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day and venue! While I grew up on Long Island, I haven’t lived there for several years and was nervous about planning a large wedding from out of town. Miriam was and really made us feel confident that not only could we pull off planning an amazing wedding from out of town, but that she’d be there along each step to help make it as easy and stress-free as possible. She was extremely responsive to any questions we had and had helpful suggestions throughout the day-of planning and vendor hiring process. I don’t know how we would have done it all without her guidance! Also, major kudos to the maître d Steve. From our initial meeting about a week before the wedding, it was evident that he’s an expert and that we could trust him to make sure everything was run on schedule as planned. This was super important to us because we wanted to enjoy the wedding and not be worrying about what we should have scheduled next. We were never without food or a drink and honestly felt like royalty. His attention to detail is unmatched and it did not go unnoticed – I felt like he could read my mind with just a slight expression on my face from the other side of the room. Not only did we have an unbelievably beautiful wedding day that we’ll always remember, but so many friends and family members have expressed how much they loved the venue, the food, and Steve specifically. And of course, the venue itself is BREATHTAKING whether you’re inside or outside. Our guests loved the valet parking, roaming the property grounds outside, and getting to explore the different rooms as they opened throughout the evening. I could probably sit here and write several pages going over how pleased we were with everything leading up to the wedding and on the day-of. We simply can’t thank the entire team at Bourne enough for providing an absolutely unforgettable wedding day. I’d recommend them a thousand times over!

The perfect wedding day. The staff at Bourne Mansion went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was unforgettable. Every guest was taken care of and had an amazing time. The food was delicious. It is the ideal location where guests can enjoy the best of both worlds - the water from the patio and the classic rooms inside. From the beginning, we had an amazing experience with Miriam. She had wonderful suggestions that helped our wedding stand out. She was in constant contact and made sure to accommodate all of our needs. Steve was also instrumental in guiding us throughout the process to ensure our weddings stood out from others. He was most especially valuable on the day of the wedding because he made sure everything was executed seamlessly. He made sure my husband and I, as well as our families, were enjoying ourselves. It is obvious through the great work of the staff that the Bourne Mansion is the premiere location for weddings. We couldn’t have asked for a better day and we thank them. Our wedding was April 27th and we are still on a wedding high. We could not have chosen a more perfect venue, and the staff completely blew us away with their professionalism and service I'm still obsessed with our venue! We love it there it is beyond gorgeous both inside and out. I attended almost every bridal showcase there even after booking our wedding and I could not stay away lol.
The food was amazing, guests are still talking about the food - even my father - who is EXTREMELY hard to please when it comes to fine dining he has VERY high expectations (the man knows what he wants).
Miriam, Steve, and Katherine are a dream team. From the beginning I loved working with Miriam. She was responsive (would answer my emails or questions almost immediately), she was kind, and most important - she was honest. She priced out an estimated cost of what all of our vendors should amount to - she was spot on and we used this as a guide in planning and booking all of the services. She consistently sent us updated contracts whenever we made payments and she kept me calm throughout the entire process, but when I found out that she would not be around for our wedding as her own son was getting married that same weekend...I slightly panicked. BUT in steps Steve and Katherine - who were rockstars! We formally met Steve only a few days before the wedding and after that meeting we were confident in his abilities. Steve knows the Bourne inside and out. He ran our wedding and kept everything on track for us and our guests without stressing us out or without making us feel like we were pulled in all directions.
I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have the most memorable wedding. A day we will never forget and a venue/staff team we will always cherish!

I had my wedding at the Bourne this past Saturday and I can't say enough of wonderful things. It was the best day ever! Working with Miriam leading up to the wedding was such a great experience. She made the vision of my fairytale wedding come to life and even surprise me with how amazing it was in person! She answered any question I had quickly and was full of knowledge. The day of my wedding working with Steve and his team was a great experience as well. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for not only myself but my bridal party and family. The food was so delicious, the mansion was stunning.. We got married at the Bourne Mansion back in June, and our special day was more than we could have asked for! My husband and I didn't want to get married in your typical catering hall, so the Bourne Mansion was a great choice since it is an incredibly beautiful and unique mansion, but with all the amenities of a catering hall. Miriam was a pleasure to work with from the start, and Steve was great to deal with leading up to the day of our wedding. They are incredibly professional and made sure as much as possible was done beforehand to make our day go off without a hitch. Jake was our maitre-d' and he was fantastic. He was on top of everything the day of, made sure everything went smoothly, and most importantly, made sure myself and my husband had stuff to eat and drink. The bridal attendant was great, as well as the entire rest of the staff. All of our guests raved about what an amazing time they had, and how great the quality of service they received from the staff was. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect day.

Elegant, beautiful and incredible! Best decision we made was to choose Bourne Mansion as our venue. From booking the date, to the actual wedding day - the process was seamless due to the amazing staff on hand. Miriam was constantly at my beck and call whenever I had 100 wedding questions for her. She always was polite and very helpful!!! (THANK YOU!) The day of our wedding, we had Steve as our maitre'd. He kept everything organized and ran a tight ship. If you haven't seen Bourne Mansion in person you need to go there now!! It captivated me from the moment we walked through the door. The mansion speaks for itself once you go there and see it is absolutely stunning. It creates a coziness for your guests at cocktail hour and then grandness as you enter the ballroom. I was slightly concerned about the price our wedding would be but it is absolutely true you get what you pay for. Steve, the maitre'd and Miriam took care of us in the most amazing ways. Miriam answered all questions about weddings even if not relevant to Bourne specific details. Steve provided us with a timeline for our event, was reassuring in my times of nervousness, and made sure we and all of our guests were well taken care of. He personally added flowers to my cake that I had settled not to include because they would have had to be brought to the bakery the week of the wedding and made it perfectly what I had wanted. At the end of the night the entire dance floor was chanting his name as he encouraged our DJ to keep the party going a few extra minutes. I could never thank him, Miriam, Nicolette, and all the staff at Bourne for making my wedding the most wonderful day. This is by far the best kept secret wedding venue on Long Island!!!!

Have your wedding here. If you're thinking about it, just do it. The place is gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the staff is out of this world. Seriously, the place is under-priced for what the staff gives you. Miriam is all class, as well as accessible and kind, and Steve will not settle for anything less than perfection on his watch. It was incredible. After we booked, an older friend who had had their wedding here ten years earlier told me "70% of your guests will tell you it was the best wedding they've ever been too." I think the percentage is something like 80 - 90% right now.
I was scared that my wedding was going to be a big mess, since my husband serves in the military and we are stationed out of state, necessitating that I plan this wedding from afar nearly all by myself. There were definitely some things I missed, but the staff filled them in seamlessly and really took care of us. I had forgotten to get a card box, and one was brought out for our use that matched our colors! I also misread and thought my wedding topper had to be dropped off at the bakery (it definitely should not be), and the bakery misplaced it, unknown to me. When we walked into the ballroom before the reception started, Steve asked if I wanted flowers on the cake since I didn't have a cake topper. I told him I had dropped one off at the bakery, but it wasn't a big deal if it was lost. That wouldn't do for Steve -- he called the owner of the bakery and had HIM drive around the island to the bakery's locations looking for my missing cake topper. It was on the cake when it was time to cut it. This act still floors me.
I'm leaving this review out of a deep gratitude for the way the staff at Bourne made our day one of the most beautiful of our lives. It has the best food, beautiful location, and a stunning mansion -- but what you're really going to notice during your wedding planning and the day of the wedding is the people. Bourne Mansion is the best on all fronts.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at Bourne Mansion a few weeks ago and we could not have been happier with how it went. We booked the venue in March of 2014 and worked with Miriam up until about a week before the wedding. Miriam was so sweet and so helpful. Whenever we had questions, she was very responsive, and she brought lots of little details to our attention that we never would have thought of. She had so many good suggestions and recommendations, and they were all on point (examples include menu selection, bakery for the wedding cake, writing our seating arrangement on a big mirror, and many more). We enjoyed working with her so much that we were sad to be passed on to Steve, but that did not last long at all, as Steve was equally awesome. He was extremely detail-oriented and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of our wedding. We had a decently large wedding party (18 counting my wife and I) and he did a great job of getting everyone on the same page and making sure everyone knew what was going on in terms of where to put their overnight bags, wedding party introductions, etc. Aside from the logistics, he was just plain fun. For example, every time I was out on the dance floor and my champagne glass was empty, he appeared out of no where with a refill. He just made everything so easy for us so that we could focus on having a good time. I honestly have zero complaints - the food was outstanding, the service was phenomenal, and there were no hiccups whatsoever. We loved everything about Bourne Mansion, Miriam, and Steve, and would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in the near future.

We fell in love with Bourne Mansion during our first walkthrough, and booked almost a year and a half in advance for our June 2016 wedding. As the months ticked by, Miriam from Bourne was always very responsive to my emails asking questions about anything and everything, helpful with figuring out the details, and giving advice about vendors as well.
The week before the wedding we met with Steven who manages the actual day of the wedding, and he really had everything in line. He runs a tight ship, for good reason, because on the day of our wedding whenever anything needed to be managed, Steven was right there to take care of it. When our band began playing my father daughter dance song in the middle of a regular dancing set, he sprinted over and told them to quickly change the song, saving some awkwardness for us if they had played the same song twice during the night. Throughout our reception he was always there with a fresh champagne and a cold washcloth to cool us down between dancing. We felt so spoiled! Everything on the day of our wedding went exactly as we'd hoped and planned for, in large part due to the execution of the team at Bourne. All of our guests were so impressed by the gorgeous venue, the stunning ceremony outside, the great food during cocktail hour and dinner, and especially the enhancements we'd added on. We chose to add the ballroom lighting, which was beautiful, and have the midnight snack bar, which was probably one of the most popular items during our wedding. Everyone loved it!
On the day of our ceremony it was supposed to rain right when our ceremony was called for, with the forecast becoming more ominous as the day went on. The staff was very flexible, and didn't insist we move it indoors just because of the forecast. We ended up with not one drop of rain, and a beautiful summer evening for our outdoor ceremony. I genuinely appreciated the effort to let us have the outdoor ceremony we were so hoping for. It was a fairytale!

We had our wedding at Bourne Mansion on March 12. To say that it was a beautiful experience would not even do it justice!! I knew from the moment I stepped inside the mansion for a bridal showcase that it was the perfect venue for us. The mansion itself is exquisite!! The grounds are spacious and when you arrive, you are taken to another time and place. The team at Bourne Mansion/Lessings made the whole planning process a breeze. We worked primarily with Miriam, who was an absolute pleasure!!! She showed such genuine interest in our wedding. She would give us little pearls of wisdom along the way which we greatly appreciated!! The week before the wedding we met with Steve Melita, the manager and Maitre D. Steve is the man! During that meeting, he put all my worries at ease. He provided us with a timeline for our wedding day, which was extremely helpful. Finally our wedding day arrived, and everything ran smoothly, thanks to Steve and the staff at Bourne Mansion. I can't describe how stunning Bourne Mansion looked that day. I had been there several times before, but to see it all set up was unbelievable, especially the ballroom. Our guests loved being able to roam through the different rooms during cocktail hour. And the food.... the food! The food was absolutely delicious. Steve and the staff made sure our every need was taken care of. He gathered our bridal party together and gave us a run-down of the day, which my husband and I hadn't seen when we were in bridal parties ourselves. I am so grateful for the experience we had at Bourne Mansion. Everyone there went above and beyond to make it a memorable night for us, and they succeeded.

The Bourne Mansion… WOW! When you drive up you think WOW! When you walk in you think WOW!! When you go to the tasting WOW! When you are the bride and groom and your guest walk in.. again another WOW!! I was the bride and the Matre D Steve and Faye (Bridal Attendant) service again was WOW!! Steve runs a tight ship and kept it everything beyond perfect! We felt like the Queen and King! Anything we wanted we had.. they provided us a huge spread of our own cocktail hour.. and even packed our favorites to go home with along with extra meals and tons and tons of cake!!! If you want the amazing service, the bourne is where it is at!! My guests have been raving about the food and the amazing service!! Nothing is a problem at the bourne!!! Top notch everything!! You want to impress…. The bourne is the answer!!! There is a reason why they are known for being the best!!! I was originally a Milleridge bride and then they had there issues I moved on to the bourne where I dealt with Mariam! She was amazing!! She answered all my questions for about 5 months and was always easy to get ahold of and easy to talk, she gave her opinon and her advice, she was always on point! She knows what she is doing!! I could not have been happier with Bourne Mansion. Miriam and Ben were great to work with and always got back to me right away with any questions. They were so helpful. And I cannot even begin to explain how WONDERFUL Steve was on the day of the wedding. He made my day so stress free and I had full trust that if I was forgetting to do something he would be right on top of it. I did not have to think about anything. The staff at Bourne Mansion are nothing but professional. They go above and beyond with their service. I cannot say enough great things about the staff and facility. My wedding was the Friday after Sandy and the night before our wedding they were able to get a generator and had it up and running in time for our ceremony. The Bourne Mansion is perhaps one of the most spectacular places that a person could get married. The grounds are beautiful, there is a view of the water, and the mansion is kept up spectacularly. They did a number of updates before my wedding and I was so excited for the changes. They added a few permanent bars, updated the driveway, recarpeted the stairs. The feedback from my guests alone on just how the place looked would have been enough to convince me and my husband that we made the right decision.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Ben from lessings worked with us on our numbers when we had a large hiccup with some family members. He was absolutely wonderful!
Steve is the Maitre'd and we were worried about him from some previous reviews but whoever said that Steve was not AMAZING was probably crazy. He was so helpful from giving us helpful suggestions about table arrangements, bridal party lineup, and telling us exactly what to do during the wedding. Because who really knows what you're supposed to do. You are in such a daze the day of the wedding you need someone there who's going to tell you where you need to be and when you need to look up at the cameras and smile. He was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. He even had cold towelettes for us when we would return from the dance floor hot and sweaty!
The bridal attendant was not so wonderful. I had to remind her several times to please get me a drink and she didn't really seem to know what she was doing. I think she was new but Steve automatically stepped in and took over for her without us having to say a word and it was smooth sailing from that point on.
The FOOD was incredible. People were raving about the appetizers and the steak. There was so much food during the cocktail hour that people got confused and thought that was the dinner. I love this place and would do my wedding over in a heartbeat at the Bourne Mansion. I wish I could live there!

I worked with Ben Nierenberg in booking the site and all the details. I did this all long distance and Ben was great. He answered all my calls and made suggestions on additional items that we were having. On the day of the wedding Steve was our maître d and what a pleasure he was. He helped us with seating arrangement and it was perfect. Everything about the Venue and the staff could not have been more perfect. The food was to die for and people are still talking about the Seafood Bar which is well worth it. Everyone like that each table was served all at once a great touch. We had our after party there and it was a perfect ending to a perfect day.

What is there to say? Amazing, amazing, amazing. Ben Nierenberg was a pleasure to work with--responsive, helpful and didn't mind my pesky visiting of the venue once a month for over a year! Steve the maitre d' was SO AWESOME and Fheggy (sorry for the spelling) was a wonderful bridal attendant. Steve was really the shining member of the staff. He made my husband and I feel so relaxed and helped the day go super smoothly. He gave us everything we needed--we always had a cold drink, he gave us cold, wet napkins to cool down after dancing, he made sure my husband didn't stray too far away from me--he was just GREAT! Steve kept us knowing exactly what we had to do next, without ever feeling pressure or stress. He kept us boozed up and fed and HAPPY!! I am so grateful for him. There are SO MANY reasons to choose the Bourne, but Steve alone is reason enough!!
The Bourne is a late 1800's mansion on the Great South Bay, built by the then president of Singer sewing machines, Fredrick Bourne. It is MAGNIFICENT. Between when I booked in November 2010 and my wedding in May 2012, they did a lot of improvements (new dance floor, new landscaping...) and they had a lot more things planned for the future. You are the only wedding that whole day, so the mansion is all yours. There are something like 8 rooms available to you and your guests, including a huge outdoor patio and grassy area. It's crazy. The ballroom is JAW DROPPINGLY BEAUTIFUL. Words do not do it justice. The food was sick, my guests are still talking about it. I don't know what else to say....Just magnificent...I truly truly hope someone I know gets married there so I can go back!!! ;)

My wedding was originally booked at another location but due to Hurricane Sandy my wedding was cancelled. Just two weeks before the date I was on the grind to find a new venue. As soon as I heard Bourne had the date open my sorrows turned to joy. I worked with both Miriam and Jason, both of which were wonderful! They really worked with me and made my wedding dreams come true. Bourne is the perfect wedding spot! This isn't the average venue. Most places are "nice" but Bourne is unforgettable. My friends and family are still raving about the wedding to this date. I set the bar high for my newly engaged friends!
If you don't look at Bourne your missing out! While the prices may be higher then you want to spend, you only get married once and you want it to be the most magical day of your life! It's worth the extra money!

This place is gorgeous. I have been told over and over again by my guests that this was the most beautiful reception they had ever been too. The food, service, and decor was beautiful.

I don't even know where to begin...
I guess I should start by saying I literally had the wedding of my dreams. The Bourne Mansion is soooo beautiful and all of our guests are still calling to tell us how amazing this venue was. As soon as I walked in there I knew I had to have it there. The food was phenomenol!!! All the guests said so as well. Plus, my husband and I were given one of each dinner on our menu to take home with us that night so we tried it all and the chicken, filet mignon, and the shrimp and they were all so good. The cookies and pastries I figured would be just "whatever" items for dessert but they were actually gourmet and sooo good!!People raved about the cocktail hour and all the food and the Pretzel stand was a HUGE hit.I'm really not one to write reviews because I feel I rarely see service that goes above and beyond today. But Steve Melita my maitre D and Nicolotte my bridal attendant were amazing. Steve and Nicolette made this night amazing for my husband and I and our families and I could cry just thinking of how wonderful they were.

My husband and I got married July 3, 2014. We fell in love with the Bourne a Mansion from the moment we walked in. We worked closely with Ben throughout the planning process. He was prompt, professional and a pleasure to work with.
A few days before the wedding, we met the maître d, Steve. He went over the schedule for our reception and stuck to it that evening. Because of him, everything was well-timed and we were able to enjoy as much of our reception as possible. When we were warm from dancing, he was constantly ready with a cool cloth and cold water for my husband and myself. He was excellent.
The food was great and my guests raved about it (particularly the filet mignon). Additionally, everyone got their dinner at the exact same moment.
The only reason I didn't give a "5" for value is because they are a little pricey, but worth every penny. It was the wedding of our dreams. Thank you Ben and Steve!

Our Wedding at the Bourne Mansion went extremely well. The services provided to us were outstanding, the Maitre'd (Steve) and his staff treated us like royalty. After the event (and even during it) our guests were telling us how great the service was, how nicely the venue was set up, and how everything ran so smoothly. They made our wedding a great day with no problems at all.

100% Recommend Bourne Mansion
Bourne Mansion and the team made our day so special. Everything was amazing from the food to the service. The venue itself is so impressive and does not require tons of decor. The team, especially Steve, our event manager, and Samantha, our bridal coordinator were incredible and strive to prioritize the bride and groom. We couldn't have asked for a better experience from beginning to end.
Miriam was also so accommodating with all of our menu and setup requests.
I wouldn't change one thing about my whole experience with Bourne Mansion!

Exceptional; exceeded our every dream and then some
I will never forget the first time I drove up the driveway to the Bourne Mansion. I started crying at its majestic beauty without even seeing the inside or knowing anything about it, and my mom said she knew right then - this was it. Throughout the 3 years of being engaged, we came to find out that every detail both inside and outside of the venue was enough to make you gasp. The decor, the food, the service, the grand beauty and history and charm…the list goes on. There is just nothing like it anywhere around Long Island or the extended area. Throughout 3 entire years, Miriam was available for every question and decision, big medium or small - including our Covid postponement. She was knowledgeable, kind, and comforting every single time we spoke. Then our wedding day finally came, and from start to finish Steve was by our side making us laugh, catering to us, explaining his expertise about every single detail of the night, and executing an absolutely positively insanely flawless ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and “after party”. Our bridal party was blown away by him while we were taking pics and getting ready for the ceremony. As for the food, it was the best wedding food I have ever had. My only regret was that I didn’t get to eat more of it that night!!! All of my friends and family members could not get over the outstanding service of the wait staff and bartenders. They were funny, efficient, and friendly. Our bridal attendant Niki was exceptional. There was not a single second that wasn’t simply perfect. I am DYING to be invited to a wedding at the Bourne mansion to experience it’s magic again. Thank you will never ever be enough.

Bourne Mansion is a gorgeous venue for a wedding (or any event) - we are so happy that we were able to have ours there this past June (2017) First of all, Miriam was our venue contact, she is the Director of Mansion Sales, and she was AMAZING. She was always available to talk through any detail, was very kind and just the right person you want to guide you through the planning process. She was great at easing any worries and worked within our budget.
Secondly, Bourne is a Lessings location so the food was impeccable and delicious - all our guests had only the best things to say about the everything! Not to mention, the bridal suite and new grooms suite were spacious and came out gorgeous in the pictures. The grounds are incredible, the staff was super helpful and thoughtful throughout the day and everything went out without a hitch. We would recommend this to anyone who wants to feel some old-school glamour along the gorgeous backdrop of the south shore of Long Island.

My wedding felt like a fairy tale! The grounds are gorgeous and the staff is very helpful! Only thing is wish they hid early guests away from where we were taking photos a little better.

My daughter had her wedding reception at the Bourne Mansion August 2016 and it was absolutely amazing. Miriam and Steve are the best. They were very helpful in planning the affair and if we had any questions Miriam was quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this venue. The food and service is great and the Bourne Mansion is simply beautiful. If you ae looking to have a fairytale wedding, then the Bourne Mansion is for you!!

The Bourne Mansion was a venue that man our wedding a dream come true. The mansion was setup perfectly for our guests as they arrived, during the cocktail hour, and then in the ballroom.
The food was prepared and served perfectly. All of our guests enjoyed every bite! Main course must's were the filet mignon and the baked salmon!
The professional and attentive staff were the keys to a successful evening, especially Steve the manager and maître'd. He was caring, responsive, and took care of myself and my husband the entire night.
The Bourne Mansion staff worked seamlessly with our vendors from start to finish.
We are the second wedding of our family to have chosen Lessing's and they continue to impress! We recommend them to our family and friends for all events.

Going back almost two years ago when I was trying to decide whether to book my wedding at the Bourne Mansion I couldn't find many reviews to help me with my decision. I decided to book anyway since the caterer is Lessings and I know they have a good reputation. I am so glad that I did. My wedding day was a once in a lifetime experience made truly amazing due to the food, service and atmosphere of the Bourne Mansion. The cocktail hour takes place in the different rooms of the mansion and gives the guests time to explore most of the first floor. When I was walking around greeting my guests, the reactions of the people that had never been there before (most of them) were priceless. One of my guests said to me that she had been to a wedding the previous weekend at a well known catering hall but it couldn't compare to the "experience" of being in the mansion. That is what I was looking for in a wedding venue, something different than the average, something that my guests will talk about long after they left. Steve is the maitre'd and really allowed me to have an amazing stress free day from the moment I walked in the mansion and saw all the extras I had brought in had been set up exactly how I wanted them. He stayed close the entire night, kept us on schedule and I heard even visited all my tables to make sure everyone was having a good time. I would highly recommend visiting the Bourne Mansion if you are looking for a wedding venue that is different from the average catering hall but a place that has the experience and the reputation to make your wedding unforgettable.

When I walked into the Bourne Mansion, I knew this was the place I wanted to have my wedding. I loved the ballroom, and all of the different cocktail hour rooms. It was also not the typical LI catering hall, which I wanted to avoid. The day of my wedding, the staff of the Bourne Mansion completely exceeded my expectations. The entire staff was so professional, and took care of everything. Steve, the maitre d, was amazing. He helped my husband and I throughout the night, and did a great job of making sure everything was on schedule. All of my guests have told us how amazing this venue was, and how it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. I have also heard from numerous people how delicious the food was, both at cocktail hour and for dinner. Highly recommend the Bourne Mansion.

The best night of our + our guests lives!
The venue, the food, the staff - I don’t even know how to put into words the way Steve, Sam and Miram at the mansion made us feel. And not just the two of us! Family is so incredibly important to us and the fact that they felt like celebrities meant the absolute world to us. We have a very matriarchal family and it was so special to see our grandmothers in particular shine from inside out. It is incredibly hard to get a compliment from them but they had nothing but wonderful things to say, especially regarding how attentive Steve and the staff were to their needs. In addition, the fact that they recognized our parents as an integral part of the evening made the night all the better. We wanted to have fun (and we did) but we wanted everyone we love to have fun even more. Everything went SO smoothly. Steve ran a tight ship and choreographed the staff at Bourne like a well-oiled machine; every time I saw him lean over to talk in his mic/walkie talkie I felt like a literal celebrity lol. Sam was also so sweet and attentive, bustling my gown, getting down on her hands and knees to tie my shoes etc. I am eternally grateful for the both of them.
I was really concerned about the food and can tell you it was absolutely AMAZING. Sam prepared us plates on plates of cocktail hour food for our bridal suite and Steve brought us one of every entrée to taste. The tuna was so so so insane and I was shocked by how great the buddha bowl was. Our guests raved about every single thing they ate from cocktail hour to dessert. I loved the plated service and how the servers were synchronized in presentation. We added the coffee and cordial bar at the end of the night and I loved how they set up the cookies and pastries alongside it to make it seem like a small Viennese hour.
I could quite literally talk about our day forever; the bottom line, Bourne and the staff there have handled THOUSANDS of weddings, but your day will most certainly feel like one of a kind.

Had my absolute dream wedding!
My wedding was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. I knew from the moment I walked into the Bourne Mansion and met Miriam that I wanted to have my wedding here. She was absolutely incredible and was so responsive to all of our questions. She told us all her recommendations and really helped make the wedding of our dreams possible. On the day of our wedding Steve the Maitre D ran the event to perfection!!! He was amazing! He was on top on everything to make sure it ran smoothly. He gave us great tips and recommendations to help make the event amazing. The bridal attendant was AMAZING! She was very attentive to what my husband and I needed the whole time! I would absolutely recommend having your wedding here!!!!
