Bourassa went above and beyond our expectations throughout the entire wedding planning process and wedding day. The communication and planning was thorough and organized and made sure nothing went unaccounted for. The tasting was incredible with some many amazing options to choose from, it was honestly hard to pick because everything was so amazing. Leading up to the wedding the team made sure every detail was covered, making sure all guests had safe options despite multiple allergies and sensitivities. It put our mind at ease knowing all of our guests could easily find something safe and delicious to eat. The food and service on our wedding day was beyond our expectations. The staff were attentive to guest needs, the food and drinks were incredible, and everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. Most couple often say they barley have time to eat on their wedding day, and this couldn't be further from the truth for us. The staff made sure we had drinks and food whenever we needed and I'm so glad that was the case because all of the food was outstanding. I have had multiple guests rave about how good the food was. I have many engaged friends now inquiring about who we had for catering because they do not want to miss out on hiring Bourassa. I simply cannot recommend Bourassa enough and look forward to hiring them for all of my future events, you cannot go wrong picking them to be apart of your wedding or special event!! -

We are so grateful that we chose Bourassa Catering for our wedding at The Estate in New Haven this past October. They were absolutely phenomenal from start of planning through cleanup of our event. We continue to hear from our guests how incredible the food and service was. We chose the short rib, salmon and eggplant rollatini for entrees then 5 passed apps, charcuterie and a taco station along with their full bar service.
We worked closely with Nikki during the planning process, and she was a dream to work with. She is attentive, communicative, and makes everything feel seamless. Her organization and professionalism allowed us to relax and feel confident knowing Bourassa had every detail of our vison handled. Nikki will help you to make your wedding day your own assisting in customizing some of our menu items and ensuring that your décor is exactly how you pictured it to be.
They worked with us to design a unique combo family-style and plated meal service, and it was executed perfectly. The timing was flawless, the food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. My husband and I had our own attendant who made sure we had a drink & got to try all of our food during such a busy night. They even went above and beyond by sourcing our favorite local beer from our hometown for the bar and helping coordinate the delivery of 15 individual mini wedding cakes to each table for dessert.
The bartenders kept up with a busy crowd and served delicious drinks all night with great energy and fantastic service even switching locations between cocktail hour, the reception and late night service for us.
Bourassa is the reason that our wedding day was executed so seamlessly. If you want a caterer who delivers not only excellent food but top-tier service and attention to detail, we cannot recommend them highly enough!

We booked Bourassa for our wedding and they were absolutely outstanding. From start to finish they were so accommodating and flexible. Everything we asked for, they were able to make happen.
The service at the wedding was incredible and the food was fantastic. I can't even begin to tell you the number of people who came up to my husband and I to say how delicious their meal was.
During cocktail hour, I (the bride) had gone upstairs with my mom to bustle my dress and one of the servers came up and brought us an entire tray of hors d'oeuvres without us even asking. I thought that was so kind and it was amazing because I was starving at that point!
A 10/10 experience all around. I cannot recommend them enough. Nikki the Sales Manager is the best! -

We had the pleasure of working with Bourassa for our wedding on 02/01/25, and I can’t say enough good things about their service! The staff was incredibly kind and attentive to everyone, ensuring that everything was served quickly and efficiently. They were always ready to help, and their friendly demeanor made a lasting impression on our guests.
I was also impressed with how they handled food allergies. They made sure that everyone with dietary restrictions was taken care of, and we felt confident that our guests were in safe hands. Everything was served on time and without a hitch—no delays or surprises!
A special shout-out to Nikki, who was a huge help throughout the entire planning process. She was always available to answer my questions, provide suggestions, and make sure everything was organized to perfection. Her support made the planning so much easier, and we’re so grateful for her expertise.
The table settings were beautifully arranged, and everything looked perfect. It was exactly what we had envisioned.
I would absolutely recommend Bourassa to anyone looking for amazing service and delicious food at their wedding or event. They truly made our day special and one to remember! -

Bourassa did an incredible job catering our wedding at the Beardsley Zoo. Not only was the food amazing, but the coordinator Nikki was quickly responsive and extremely professional, despite my last minute worries I kept bothering her with! Bourassa was accommodating to all of our requests, and everything flowed perfectly during the wedding. I cannot recommend them enough, and would absolutely book them again! -

We cannot recommend Bourassa Catering enough after their incredible service at our wedding. From the start, Nikki was so helpful, patient and professional during the year long planning process. She was always responsive and thorough, never missing a detail. We wanted a menu that represented us, and after many, many emails and phone calls, we were able to create the perfect stationed dinner and cocktail hour menus. Nikki and the chefs provided an excellent tasting to make sure we liked every part of our menu. The entire team was great, and provided such wonderful service. We even kept hearing such positive reviews from our coordinator and venue that they were such a great vendor to work with. I would highly recommend Bourassa, you are in such great hands with them! -

Perfect Day
Bourassa was absolutely the BEST part of the wedding planning process. Throughout all of the craziness, they were always there to help in anyway they could - even for things in my opinion isn’t in their job description! They were incredibly flexible with our budget and helped us make it happen. The day of, they were nothing short of AMAZING. The food was incredible, and all of the staff was wonderful. I could not recommend them more! -

The BEST wedding food from the best team!
After having a nightmare experience with another caterer we had booked, Bourassa stepped in and truly saved the day! Nikki was an absolute gem to work with and so incredibly helpful throughout the whole process!
Everything was so delicious, I wish I had eaten more! So many guests during and after our wedding raved about the food. We even had guests say it was by far the best wedding food they have ever had. Some favorites were the Lobster Roll, Bacon Wrapped Scallops, the Halibut for dinner. The drinks were also delicious!
Nikki, Joe, Chef Devin and Chef Jon were all so incredibly sweet and helpful through out this whole wedding planning process and even day of helped to make sure everything went out without a hitch. Mikayla our bridal attendant was also the sweetest and made sure we always had food and drinks throughout the night! Our wedding planner even made a comment to me during the wedding that she was so impressed with Bourassa and would be referring them to her other brides.
Thank you Bourassa for truly helping make our wedding day perfect and delicious! We could not have done it without you! -

Amazing food and a pleasure to work with them
Bourassa catered our wedding at The Cabin at Wickham Park and did an amazing job. The food was delicious, beautiful, and plentiful. Their service was attentive, professional, and courteous. Altogether, their good work greatly contributed to a delightful wedding reception. They ensured we (the bride and groom) received a plate of our hors d'oeuvres, received our meal first / had a chance to eat, worked with us on a custom menu for our family friendly wedding reception, and easily accommodated a last minute request to add an iced water and lemonade refreshment welcome station when we saw the forecasted temperature quickly rise a few days before our wedding. Nikki, our event coordinator, was a delight to work with as well. Asking Bourassa to cater our wedding is easily one of our best decisions! -

Bourassa did a wonderful job through the entire planning process and execution of appetizers and dinner on the day. Nikki was a wonderful contact and truly worked diligently with us the entire way. I didn’t always know the best timing for the transition between appetizers and dinner or dinner and dessert and she helped me with the entire plan. The day of, the contacts at The Owenego helped us have our own set of appetizers and made sure to get us our own plate of dinner. Everyone was kind, helpful and made sure everyone ate and took home late night snacks! The food was wonderful and the experience was truly smooth and seamless! -

Bourassa went above and beyond for our wedding at the Wadsworth Mansion this August. We worked with them for our 1.5 year engagement and are so extremely appreciative of all of the efforts they made to make our event a success. We chose Bourassa because from the first contact they were friendly, accommodating, and the food was delicious. Nikki was our assigned event manager. She was in contact with us throughout the planning process and was willing to meet with us, call us to answer any questions, friendly and able to go above and beyond for us. The food was great and we miss the mini tacos already. Thank you all for your service!

We had the privilege of working with them for our wedding on May 19th, and everything was absolutely perfect - from the team, to the food, to the details & coordination, we couldn't have asked for a better catering team for our wedding.
From the moment we began wedding planning, Bourassa stood out above all other vendors. The kindness and excitement that the team exudes is contagious, and unmatched in the wedding industry. Nikki celebrated WITH us during the most exciting time of our life, and I truly looked forward to our check-ins. By the time our wedding rolled around, Nikki, Joe & John started to feel more like friends than vendors.
The most stand-out thing about the Bourassa team is the level of customization and care that goes into each wedding.
During our tasting, I mentioned that my grandfather (who we unfortunately lost several years ago) was a hot dog aficionado and would frequently visit a nearby hot dog joint. I asked if there was any way we could honor him by having hot dogs as the late night snack option. Upon hearing his, Joe & Nikki sprang into action - researching this particular restaurant's hot dogs and going above and beyond to try and replicate the exact hot dogs that my grandfather loved so much. Seeing his absolute favorite food there at our wedding meant more to my family and I than I can put into words. A small ode to him that we will cherish forever, and we are so grateful to the Bourassa team for giving this to us.
As if that wasn't enough, my husband had his heart set on including his favorite cocktail from a restaurant in our hometown as his signature cocktail for our wedding. Although it was complicated, Joe worked with us to craft the perfect iteration of this cocktail - from the taste to the presentation - and it was executed flawlessly. Guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious everything was and how friendly all of the catering staff were.
I could go on and on about this team's professionalism, talent & good vibes. We are so, so happy to have shared our special day with Bourassa! -

Bourassa is an outstanding caterer: Flexibility, friendliness, and phenomenal service! From the incredible tasting experience to the wedding day: a custom pretzel wall, raw bar, and more - every detail was perfect. The staff was super friendly and attentive to our guests. They helped setup and cleanup which took a lot of stress of us on our wedding day. The whole teams warmth and Nikki's invaluable assistance made planning our big day a breeze. Our family and friends are still raving about the generous portions and amazing food. Highly recommended for an unforgettable wedding! -

We used Bourassa catering for our wedding and they did an absolutely phenomenal job! Bob helped us design a menu that would fit with our outdoor, end-of-summer wedding and was beyond easy to work with. He accommodated all of our requests and everything tasted absolutely amazing (many guests told us it was the best "wedding food" they'd ever had!) Not only was the food delicious, it looked beautiful too. Bourassa's staff was so friendly and helpful. They took care of everything we needed and made us feel so comfortable and stress-free on the big day. We also really appreciate how dedicated Bourassa Catering is to Covid safety. The plexiglass barriers in front of the buffet were subtle and sturdy, exactly what we needed. We would absolutely recommend Bourassa Catering for any event, and especially if you're having an event during Covid and want to serve your guests excellent food as safely as possible! -

Patti and the team we’re the MVPS! They handle it all and the food is beyond incredible. They are well organized and professional. Patti helped me with every step of the way and even beyond the catering. The menu selection (and tasting!) was great. They came onsite and was able to provide an incredible meal for over 100 guests just using their catering truck (no kitchen at venue).
I would recommend this company a million times over. -

I can't say enough about how incredible Bourassa Catering and their event coordinator Patti!
Our wedding was September 1st this year and Patti was such a tremendous help! She is not only professional and kind but she truly felt like a part of the family during the entire process.
The food.... let me tell you about how many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had! It was so delicious and they were able to really capture our favorite things within the menu. I am still dreaming of the braised short ribs.
If you are getting married in Connecticut, I would say hurry up and book Bourassa Catering!

Our wedding was this past weekend and we cannot say enough good things about Bourassa! They worked with us to create a truly diverse and unique menu. They created a great starting point menu based off of what we described and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted, even adding in some family recipes! They were so flexible with everything and worked to keep us within our budget, even suggesting small ways to limit costs. The staff was amazing, especially Patti! Patti was a rockstar! She took charge of so many things that I felt like we had our own wedding planner! The day went flawlessly and we feel like we owe it in large part to her, she truly went above and beyond! Brian Sent on 01/03/2015My wife and I used Bourassa Catering for our outdoor wedding reception on 9/27/2014, of about 90 people. They were fantastic. We built our wedding up from scratch, using our house as the reception venue. During the initial meeting, Bob listened to our likes and dislikes, and then created a menu and proposal that fit our taste buds and wallets.
From that point, we worked with Natalie on putting the rest of the reception together. From the start we had a really good idea of what we wanted, and she worked through any changes that we threw at her - they were extremely flexible with our requests. We had some vegetarians and vegans and were able to create a separate plate for these guests. They were fantastic to work with and conscious about our budget through the whole process. They have a great rapport with other vendors for seating, tents, etc. They provided a “one stop shop” for all things an outdoor wedding would need.
On the day of, the team provided exceptional service. The entire staff was friendly and professional to us and our guests. They took care of all setup (tables looked fantastic) and breakdown, keeping our venue clean
The food was phenomenal. Our guests to this day, still talk about all of the food (appetizers and dinner) they had at our reception and how delicious it was. We could not recommend Bourassa Catering enough. -

I really enjoyed working with Bourassa, which is owned by the chef Bob Bourassa. They were responsive, flexible, and their menu options were clear/not confusing, and they were not trying to trick you or upsell you on anything.
The food at the wedding was excellent, and we got a lot of comments about it. Multiple guests said: "we usually don't remember/notice the food at weddings, but the food here is so good that it really stands out." While many couples don't have time to eat at their weddings, both my husband and I paused to enjoy our dinner and take home the delicious leftovers.
They also did a marvelous job with the ceremony site setup, linens, and all the logistical elements. Highly recommendBourassa Catering & Events's reply:
