Amazing!!!

Gwen and her team are the best!! Everyone in my wedding party felt amazingly beautiful on my wedding day! Gwen knocked it out of the park on my hair and makeup and made me feel amazing! The absolute best!

I simply cannot recommend Gwen and her team enough! I hired Blush518 for hair and makeup for my large (10 person) bridal party and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Gwen put together an amazing schedule beforehand to make sure everyone was finished on time which was great. They even take the time to prep everyone's hair first which is really a step above! Every single girl's hair and makeup looked so flawless, everyone was so happy with how they looked and can't stop raving about the whole team, myself included. Gwen was a pleasure to work with and so professional. I would book with Blush518 again in a heartbeat!

Gwen and Blush518 - starstruck service!

Gwen and the Blush518 ladies are the absolute best! Gwen traveled all the way to Cooperstown and spent our entire wedding weekend with us, making me feel like royalty and being by my side as both a professional and friend. Gwen did my hair and makeup for our Rehearsal Dinner and when I looked in the mirror, I was blown away. She raised every level of every detail, I never knew I could look like that! As a bride in her 40s, she gave me the dream of looking my absolute best on my wedding day and put so much kindness and care in getting me ready and into every touch-up. Even with a gown and hair change, she made the whole process seamless and magical. She LOVES what she does and she’s the absolute BEST at it, and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else by my side. Christine and Lisa did my bridesmaids’ hair and makeup, some of my girls never really dolling up before, and they all looked like supermodels! I could not have been happier and these amazing ladies made our whole bridal party shine. Our guests were also able to take advantage of some of Blush518’s services on site and raved about their up-do’s and eyelashes, and looked absolutely beautiful. It was so much fun for them to join in the day! The showstopper of the whole wedding, however, was my mom, a beautiful woman in her early 80’s, who’s stunning features were elevated and blown up by Lisa. She was the absolute star of the wedding and never looked (younger!) and more gorgeous. It made my heart soar! Thank you Gwen and Blush518 ladies - you went above and beyond in every way and were one of the very best parts of our wedding, and we can never thank you enough ❤️

Simply Amazing!

My husband and I got married 6/26/21 and Gwen and her team made me feel absolutely fabulous on my special day! I am so so grateful to have had Blush518 help my 7 bridesmaids, my mom, my future mother in law and I get ready the morning of the wedding. Gwen made this amazing (color coded) schedule and kept everything running smoothly. Even after a full 12 hour day, with 100% humidity… We all still looked great at the end of the night. Amazingly Beautiful

Gwen and her team are absolutely fabulous! They were so accommodating when we had to change plans and locations due to having to postpone our big ceremony.

Lisa and Christine were so friendly and fun to work with. They took my ideas of what I wanted and made it a reality. I felt so pretty walking out to my special day. The attention to detail resulted in a flawless and stunning look. My husband could not stop saying how beautiful I looked and I really thank Blush518 for making it happen.

Hair and makeup for wedding

We booked Gwen and her team for our wedding for both hair and makeup. They did a fabulous job. They were prompt, brought all of their makeup/hair supplies, set up and cleaned up everything. They made what could have easily been a chaotic morning very relaxing. We had five bridesmaids doing makeup and six bridesmaids doing hair. Gwen made a schedule so all of us could be done by the time we needed to go to our ceremony. Very organized.

I had my makeup done for a different wedding and was hesitate to get it professionally done again. I felt like they applied too much face makeup to hide my acne and scars. I felt like they just kept applying layer after layer. The makeup felt heavy. Gwen took a different approach. During our makeup and hair trial I discussed by concerns with her about hiding my acne and scars. She listened and did an excellent job. I felt like my skin was still able to breathe and I still felt like I looked like myself while hiding my acne and scars. After my makeup trial she even gave me a sample to help with the weeks leading up to my wedding.

I would highly recommend Gwen and her team for hair and makeup. We’re glad we did. Everyone was extremely happy with their hair and makeup.

The best hair and makeup team a bride could ask for

Gwen and her girls at Blush518 are the best of the best and I can't say enough good things about her. Here are the top highlights:

1. Gwen and her girls will make you look absolutely beautiful and take your vision and make it better than you imagined. I was in love with my hair and makeup on my wedding day. I had a vision, but Gwen took my explanation and understood what I wanted even more than I did. Everyone told me how great my hair and makeup was.

2. Gwen is unbelievably organized. I have had experiences as a bridesmaid where there isn't enough time for everyone to hair and makeup done right or be on time. That WONT happen with Blush518. She brings more than enough makeup artists and stylists to make sure everyone gets adequate time. She also prepared a schedule ahead of time so everyone knows exactly when they are getting hair and makeup. My wedding morning went so smoothly and everyone was so calm because Gwen was prepared.

3. Gwen will go above and beyond for you. My husband and I did not do a first look and had our ceremony outside on a lake where there is often wind so I was worried my hair and makeup would not be fresh for our portraits. Gwen stayed after getting me ready, through the ceremony, and for all of my portraits with my husband so she could touch up my hair and makeup whenever I needed it. She was constantly making sure everything was oerfect. I felt like a celebrity on a red carpet.

4. Gwen is so cool and personable. After spending hours with her at her salon doing two trials, I felt like we were old friends. She so easy to talk to and makes you feel very comfortable.

Bottom line, hitting Gwen and Blush518 for your wedding is one of the best decisions you can make

Gwen and her team were absolutely amazing! Her keen eye enhanced my natural beauty, she listened to my thoughts on how I wanted to look for my big day and made me look flawless. Everyone felt beautiful!

My daughter's wedding was a dream come true! And in no small part because of Gwen and her team! They did an absolutely amazing job! My daughter and I did trial runs a few months before. Gwen worked with us as long as we needed, to get the look we were going for. That "look" was hopefully going to be that we looked like our very best selves, natural but emphasized. We came away from the trial feeling confident that we had achieved that. The day of the wedding Gwen and her team were there, set up and ready for all 9 of us. There was complete calm in that room, they had it all down to a science backed up by warmth and concern and attentiveness to each one of us! We were all thrilled with how our hair and makeup came out! One woman wasn't happy at first but they worked with her till they got her the way she wanted to look, all the while staying calm and helpful! And everyone's hair and makeup lasted through the afternoon of pictures and the entire reception! I would give 10 stars if I could! Thank you Gwen and everyone at Blush 518!! 13 ladies, no problem!

Gwen and her team killed it. We had 13 ladies needing hair and makeup over the course of 6 or so hours and everything went off flawlessly, with everyone looking their absolute best. We even had a hiccup with the MOH needing to come in later than expected, and the team pulled it off without a hitch.

As for me, I felt like a freaking princess on my wedding day. Gwen totally got what I was going for, and made me feel like me -- except better. Everything was perfect, and Gwen even stuck around after the first look for pre-ceremony touchups. I absolutely loved having Gwen by my side during the day of. She's crazy talented, funny, and a fantastic manager of her team.

Beyond grateful for Gwen & team!

There are no words to describe how grateful I am to have met Gwen. I found Blush518 through a deep dive of wedding blog and Instagram searching. The minute I hung up the phone with Gwen, I knew I had found my person. Gwen kept everything smooth, stress free and easy to plan. I went for a trial three months before our wedding. I had an idea of what I was looking for with hair, but Gwen came up with something even better. She understood exactly what I envisioned for makeup (very natural, emphasized eyes) and hit it out of the park. I left the trial worry free about the wedding day. Gwen sent over a detailed schedule for me and all of the bridesmaids for the day of. Her team showed up early and ready to seize the day. They were accommodating, calm and a ton of fun to work with. All of the bridesmaid’s hair and makeup turned out stunning. As for me, I was Gwen’s second bride of the day and she made me feel calm and confident. We joked during the trail that your hair and makeup team sets the mood for the wedding day and that could not have proved to be truer. I had a blast getting ready with her and was shocked with how amazing everything turned out. Gwen stuck around to do veil placement and touchups as we left for photos at the track and the church. She is truly one of the most amazing individuals I have met. I could not recommend Blush518 enough and know that my wedding day (and photos!) would not have been the same without Gwen and her team! I will always be grateful that Gwen took a chance (and nailed) two weddings in one day!

Best decision!

Gwen and her team are amazing. I was an out of town bride who had to choose vendors by online research only, and Gwen was the best decision I made. She was super flexible with scheduling my trial and even fit me in for a blow out before my rehearsal dinner. Not to mention all of her work was stunning and everyone in my bridal party felt beautiful!

She was also super organized which I appreciated- we had 11 people getting hair and makeup done and she made a schedule for me to approve beforehand to keep everything on track. She even stuck around to give me a few touch ups before my first look. I cannot recommend Blush518 enough!

Fun Morning, Amazing Results

If you want the best hair and make-up on your wedding day, look no further! Not only is Gwen and her team so much fun, they do the most amazing job. I was in my friends wedding who had hired Blush518 and immediately knew I needed her too. To my luck, Gwen was free the date of my wedding and I sent in a deposit the very next day!

Gwen is great with scheduling, and really outlines what the day will look like. I loved having all the details ahead of time and timing for the day. When my photographer timidly asked who I had for hair and makeup (knowing many run over), he was thrilled and had assumed he had recommended her :-)

Absolute perfection

Blush518 was a fantastic hire!

Gwen and her team were so flexible, so accommodating, and so knowledgeable. She goes above and beyond. I loved working with Gwen from day one when she did my make-up trial. As a somewhat picky bride, looking for a natural but emphasized make-up look, Gwen knew exactly how to bring my vision to life. So Fun and Talented!

My friends and family and I all had such a good time with Gwen and her team! They turned what could have been a stressful situation into no big deal (my original trail was done with Amy, but she had an emergency the day of the wedding). They handled my disorganized group very well, even though some of the girls weren't on schedule they managed to get everyone done on time. My makeup and hair turned out better than I had even expected and stayed put throughout the pics and ceremony, even through several (happy) tearful moments. I can't thank them enough for putting me at ease and making everything smooth and perfect!
