If you are looking for the best wedding planner in the country look no further than Virginia at Bluebird Productions. Planning a wedding in Aspen, Colorado from Dallas, Texas in less than 6 months was challenging until my first phone call with Virginia and at that point I knew I needed her on our wedding day. On our first call, I felt an immediate connection with Virginia and her love for an outdoor and snowy wedding. We hired Virginia’s team and we were off and planning! Virginia was always very responsive, organized, full of advice, and on top of everything! She was always able to recommend the top vendors for every possible thing that came up during our wedding planning. You can tell that she is a favorite by many vendors because they always had the kindest things to say about Virginia. The Bluebird Productions team was amazing at helping me plan a surprise groom’s cake that they pulled off flawlessly! The most important thing that Virginia provided us and our families was reassurance that she had everything handled. We were able to enjoy our wedding weekend and would have never been able to do that without Virginia and her team. Thanks to Virginia for helping us achieve our dream wedding and a day we will never forget!

We can't say enough wonderful things about Virginia and the Bluebird team! From our initial phone call to our wedding day, they were there step by step guiding us to what would be the best day of our lives! They have the wedding planning procedure down to a tee. They could not have been more professional, organized, talented, supportive, and lovely to work with. Although my husband and I live out of state, they were consistently on top of every detail and responsive (in all forms of communication) which provided us with a comfort level that I don't think i could have found anywhere else. Their comprehensive timeline kept everyone on track allowing me to be fully relaxed and stress-free the week of - which was such a treat! Our wedding day was absolutely seamless and the ceremony and reception were truly amazing. Many guests said it was by far the most stunning wedding they have ever attended and are still talking about it! :) We couldn't agree more. We were overwhelmed by the beauty that these ladies produced for us. We honestly couldn't have chosen a better wedding planner to be by our side during our planning journey! Love love love!

My husband and I cannot rave enough about Virginia and everyone at Bluebird Productions! We're an LA-based couple who wanted to get married in Aspen. Virginia came recommended by a friend of a friend, so we called Bluebird and the rest is history. We opted for their full services (they planned our wedding from top to bottom) and it was the first-best-decision we ever made as an engaged couple.

What we loved most about working with Bluebird, other than their openness and positive attitude, was the comfort of knowing that they had everything under control. They have impeccable taste, are meticulous in their attention to detail, and are speedy communicators. Our wedding day was everything a wedding day should be: easy, joyous, and love-filled. They take care of the details, so you and your partner can focus on the only thing that matters: each other. The only regret we have is not having a longer engagement, so we can keep them around forever. Like, we may or may not have invited them to come stay at our house whenever they're in town.

The entire Bluebird team was absolutely amazing! They were incredibly responsive and helped keep me on track throughout the whole process. They were also super creative. We had one of the more unique weddings and they were there every steps of the way with new ideas and design. We had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We did not have to lift a finger, everything was completely organized from the welcome party to the reception. I love these girls so much! I want to go back and do it all over again. I can't stop smiling whenever I think about it! We have recommended the Bluebird team to friends and no one has had a negative thing to say about them.

Dear Bluebird, thank you SO much for taking such good care of us during the wedding planning process, and most importantly on the wedding day itself! We had only seven months to plan our destination wedding, and with our busy work schedules, booking a wedding planner was at the top of the to-do list. Thank goodness for Virginia and her team at Bluebird Productions! They provided excellent month-to-month guidance, vendor recommendations (all of them within our budget, this cannot be underestimated!) and offered creative suggestions which we so appreciated. Weeks before the wedding, everything on my checklist was DONE and there was nothing more that I needed to stress or worry about.

The wedding day itself could not have been executed more beautifully or flawlessly. The Bluebird team took care of every last detail and every minor hiccup that might have occurred, so that my hubby and I could relax and ENJOY our special day. In every interaction, they were professional, kind-hearted and genuinely invested in creating an enjoyable, memorable day for us. Thank you Bluebird for everything! Planning your wedding can be overwhelming and time consuming. Bluebird Productions made it so much easier by creating timelines, talking through vendors and options and providing overall direction. It was also incredibly comforting and reassuring to know they were on-site finalizing all the preparation for the rehearsal dinner and wedding so we didn't have to worry about anything. Virginia and Christine of Bluebird productions were perfect wedding planners, not to mention wonderful human beings. They helped me plan and execute the wedding of my dreams. About four months before my wedding, I reached out to Bluebird. I had been working with another Aspen-based wedding planner (Gold Leaf Event Design) and was extremely frustrated with them. I didn't know what to do--I needed a wedding planner but Gold Leaf was adding way more stress to the whole process and I wasn't sure if it would be more stressful then it was worth switching planners 4 months before the wedding. I also didn't know if I could afford hiring a totally new planner. In a fit of panic, I called Virginia (who by no means pressured me to switch to her company).

What a God send! Within a few weeks, I was working with Bluebird. Virginia and her team helped me execute a perfect wedding. The transition to Bluebird was absolutely seamless and they showed me the kind of service and professionalism that a top-notch wedding planner should deliver. They had impeccable taste and were very well connected with vendors of all price points in Aspen. They were professional and responded in a very timely matter to all of my emails. They had a great attitude and never said "that's not in my contract," when I asked them to do something that might not have been in their contract. Their attention to detail was impeccable. They offered solutions to problems. They were honest and I never felt like they were trying to get me upsell me or get me to spend unnecessary money And, above all, they brought wonderful energy and enthusiasm to the whole process. I got the sense that they truly cared about my wedding and that it wasn't just another job to pay the bills. Bluebird is a top notch wedding planing service run by wonderful , professional, talented women. Whether you're having a million dollar wedding or 50k wedding, don't go anywhere else!

The entire team at Bluebird Productions is five star plus!!! From the very first conversation with them to the follow up after the wedding I can honestly say working with them was perfection! Their guidance each step of the way was terrific....but what makes their team so amazing is the wonderful attitude and demeanor they have while getting the job done! I exchanged near daily emails with the team over the course of the planning process, and every thought, question and concern (no matter how small) was met with a timely and considerate response. I completely trusted their expert opinions on everything from vendors to timing in many uncharted territories, which truly took away any stress or uncertainty I would have had. Virginia organized our rehearsal dinner for me. We live out of town, and hence I fully relied on Bluebird Productions for this event. Virginia and her team absolutely delivered, not only on the day, but also with regard to the planning. I wanted to incorporate some German traditions into the evening, and Virginia and her team came up with great suggestions, and they executed them well. The planning process was incredibly efficient, structured and thorough. Most importantly, Bluebird Productions allowed us to be totally relaxed during our wedding weekend. We could devote 100% of our mind share to our friends and family, because we knew that Virginia and her team were on top of everything. My daughter and I met with Virginia Edelson of Bluebird Productions a year before my daughter’s wedding. It was clear from the first phone conversation and her first handshake, with a warm confident smile, that we were making the best decision. Virginia and her staff have excellent organizational skills but even more important is their ability to work with everyone in a calm, loving, but firm manner and that is what is required in a wedding venue! We had monthly conference calls with an emailed agenda that we focused on and completed or found it on the next month’s agenda. Virginia was able to envision the big picture with a great eye and trendy touches but kept our budget in mind. She was enthusiastic when we were excited about an idea, and an honest, diplomatic mentor when we couldn’t decide. Virginia is familiar with many vendors both local and national giving us many choices.

Virginia and her staff are the leaders you want on your team. On the wedding day the schedule was down to the minute. We were dealing with bad weather and Bluebird Productions calmly led us through the day as if everything would be great and it was! My daughter’s wedding was gorgeous but most importantly we had the best time. It was because of the pace of the evening that Virginia set, and the confidence that she instilled, that we were calm and able to enjoy this most important night!

The Bluebird Girls are the BEST!!! They made our wedding everything I dreamed of and more. They listened and were able to execute exactly what I wanted. They are super creative and offered very unique ideas specific to my overall vision. They give a variety of options from cost effective to more expensive. It was such a pleasure working with Virginia and the Bluebird team. After meeting with a few planners there was no question that Virginia and her team were the ones we wanted to work with. We felt very well taken care of through the entire planning process. From monthly lists to keep us on track, to meetings at our beautiful venue, Bluebird was on top of every detail. They always had great suggestions of who to work with, from our amazing calligrapher on. When I couldn't decide what I wanted for certain items Virginia always talked me through options, pros/cons etc - I really don't know what I would have done without her help and advice.

The day of was perfect and the girls made sure I had nothing to stress or worry about, so I could be completely in the moment. When my dress strap broke they sewed it back on by hand within seconds (twice!). They were so well organized and everything was absolutely stunning! We still get compliments on what an incredible and beautiful day it was. We couldn't have done it without Bluebird and I will be forever grateful.

Virginia and her Bluebird team are the best in the business. I never imagined I would find wedding planners with such savvy advice and flawless execution. It was never necessary for me to remind Virginia and the Bluebird girls to do things, instead, they kept me organized with helpful month-by-month checklists and progress updates. As an busy attorney planning my Aspen wedding from New York, this was extremely helpful.

Virginia recommended excellent vendors who were reasonably priced, which can be hard to find in Aspen. She had creative solutions, and worked patiently with us until we found exactly what we are looking for. She also has impeccable style, which was extremely helpful for me, because I had ideas of what I was looking for, but wasn't really sure how to put everything together. Further, it's clear that Virginia really loves what she does. Throughout my year of planning with Virginia, she went out of her way to always answer emails or calls immediately, whether she was in her office or on vacation. The service she provides is above and beyond what we expected or hoped for.

Further, on the day of my wedding, Bluebird Productions made sure that I didn't have to worry about anything, so that I could focus on enjoying time with my husband and all of our guests. At the wedding, numerous guests commented on the impeccable organization and seamlessness of our wedding, which I attribute 100% to Bluebird. And countless local vendors mentioned that Virginia and her team are by far their favorite planners to work with, because their events are well organized and go off without a hitch.

Where to begin...hiring Bluebird productions to help with my wedding was the best decision ever. Virginia and Kaitlin have the amazing ability to be extremely well organised while also being wonderfully creative. They are down to earth, easy to talk to and a pleasure to work with. Our wedding wasn't completely traditional which they were able to respect and embrace so we got the wedding that WE wanted. They also respected our budget and helped identify areas where we could get the biggest 'bang for our buck' and where we could save money.
For a variety of reasons, we changed venues two months out from our wedding date. Bluebird helped make the transition seamless from helping to find a new venue and quickly changing arrangements with vendors to holding my hand through the stress and reassuring me that we made the right decision.
While the week leading up to the wedding was a bit stressful with guests in town, I was completely stress free on the day of the wedding knowing that Virginia and her team had everything under control. We were able to just enjoy ourselves knowing that they were working behind the scenes keeping everything under control.
Our vendors love working with Bluebird and we loved working with them as well. I would highly recommend working with Bluebird in Aspen or wherever your wedding might be!

I worked directly with Virginia who was an outstanding professional. Planning my destination wedding was infinitely easier because of how organized she was. Where do I begin? These women are absolutely amazing! I planned my wedding all the way from Chicago, IL. To say I was a bit nervous about planning a destination wedding is an understatement. This is the type of company that I cannot praise enough. Bluebird Production's ability to create a fun and stress-free planning environment leading up to, day off, and follow through after an event is without a doubt, impressive beyond words. I worked with both Virginia and Chelsea throughout the entire process of my wedding. Their knowledge and expertise is quite extensive and created an atmosphere of tranquility throughout the most "nail-biting" areas of planning a wedding. Not only are the leading ladies fun and enjoyable to work with, the ideas that they propose and offer were always something that I extremely valued and headed. Their innovative ideas and creative ways never ceased to impress me and inspire me throughout my wedding planning.
When it came to the small details that really pull a wedding together, these ladies were able to do it all! Some of the reasons that make this company so great to work with are their forward thinking ideas, eco-friendly approach, and ability to work with some of the top notch companies throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. Not only that, but Virginia and Chelsea are downright enjoyable to be around. They are able to help remove the "Bridezilla" syndrome that tends to befall some brides and make it possible for the Bride to enjoy her day. I had to do very little shopping around, from the flowers to the paper goods to the cake, the first place we visited in each category I wholeheartedly agreed with. Not only were the prices right with each company that we worked with, but they were enjoyable and original when it came to putting together the entire theme of the wedding.
The day of my wedding, I couldn't have ever dreamed of the day being any better. I can thankfully say that there was not a single napkin, flower, seat cushion, or music chord struck wrong throughout the entire ceremony and reception. Every detail was pristine and crisp.

I can't imagine what our wedding day or the whole planning experience would have been like without Virginia and her team at Bluebird. From the beginning of the process they made the planning easy, allowing us to focus on the fun details and decisions, comfortable in the knowledge that Virginia would ensure we had everything on track. Even though we were in London and the wedding was in Aspen and we only had 6 months to organize everything, they made it easy to plan a wedding weekend that was exactly what we wanted (and more). Their knowledge of local vendors is amazing, ensuring we got the best value for money with all or our choices. Once the big day arrived, we didn't have to worry about a thing, as they had every tiny detail taken care of and the day ran like clockwork, ensuring that our guests had a fantastic time and allowing us to focus entirely on enjoying the moment. Not only is Virginia incredible at planning and running events, she is also a complete joy to work with and a genuinely lovely person. I had the pleasure of working with Virginia and Kate for our wedding this fall. We had the picture perfect wedding and a large part of the credit goes to the work of the Bluebird team. They organized every detail from photography, to reception setup, to moving our guest to the next activity with perfection. I did not expect everything would flow as smoothly as it did. They truly exceeded our expectations.
We have the most amazing photos from the Snowmass Balloon Festival thanks to Bluebird. Kate knew that we really wanted to see the night glow which happened during our reception. She went out of her way to ensure that we were able to take advantage of this event. I later asked out guest if they noticed we were missing for 20 minutes though dinner and no one even noticed we were gone. Kate was able to pull us from dinner in a way that was not distracting and not noticed by our guest. We were still able to do the toast and cut the cake right on schedule. It was simply amazing.
If you chose to work with Bluebird, you will experience a level of detail you did not think possible or necessary! However, they know exactly what they are doing and will handle your event as if it was their own. Thank you again for helping to create our picture perfect wedding. Kim & Jeff

Virginia and Kate at Bluebird Productions were incredible. They helped us through the whole process and recommended great vendors and ideas. We were happy with every aspect of how our wedding turned out. They even saved us from a potential DJ disaster. Planning a wedding from afar (we live in NYC and had our wedding in Aspen) is tricky but they made it all run smoothly. The day of service was great. Felt like I didn't have to lift a finger! Having Bluebird Productions be a part of planning our wedding was probably the best decision that we made. From start to finish Virginia was absolutely wonderful to work with, and she made the whole process so much easier and more fun. Not only did she keep track of all of the little details for us, but she also made the most helpful recommendations for how to make our day even more special and worry-free. I was against the idea of hiring a wedding planner--we were on a tight budget and I saw it as unnecessary expense. Virginia and Chelsea changed my mind on our first meeting and in the end they saved me money by coming up with solutions and suggestions for how to achieve the wedding I wanted without over-the-top spending. The ideas they came up with were the things that made my wedding special -- creative, money-saving ideas that were unique and also environmentally friendly. They are also insanely organized and detail-oriented and that's where you get what you pay for. They make sure there is nothing overlooked and believe me, I wouldn't have even thought of some of these things!!!! They are also there on your big day to make sure everything goes smoothly but they are very good about remaining behind the scenes in a tactful, graceful, and classy way. I'm so grateful to everything they did for me that I will be friends with them for life. Don't miss out on the Bluebird Girls! They are amazing.

Bluebird Productions is the factor that allowed us to plan a destination wedding as if it were in our own backyard. Because of Bluebird’s integral understanding of Aspen’s local scene and service providers, we benefited from inside information saving us time, money and hassle.

I was able to be 100% in the moment for the most memorable weekend of my life. Unlike most brides, I didn’t have endless check-lists running through my mind. Bluebird’s goal was to tie-up details before the wedding week even began.

With a prepared agenda we could relax and enjoy golf, hikes, and a bike ride to a magazine-worthy, Bluebird catered picnic at the Maroon Bells.

I'm wondering if you would consider having a list of vendors at lower price levels? It all worked out in the end, but it was super stressful trying to keep within my budget!!
Also, and this is something I didn't notice on the wedding day, but many people asked if the coordinators could dress in black or something less distracting than bright stripes or prints. Again, I never even noticed, but since I heard this from so many guests, I thought I'd pass it along!

Kate and the team at Bluebird Productions were all wonderful to deal with. They have many connections in the Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley area that came in helpful while planning a destination wedding. Kate always responded to phone calls/emails in a very timely manner and was instrumental in the day-of and behind-the-scenes operations of our wedding. She even took a few pictures during special parts of the day AND took our crying son out of the ceremony to play with him - truly above and beyond what we expected of her. At the end of the night, she packed up all our gifts, belongings, decorations, and moved them to our hotel for us. SUPER SERVICE!! Bluebird Productions was a great team to work with. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and were great at keeping us organized and accomplishing tasks. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect in every way, from the vendors to the look and feel. They were also great at making us feel like we didn't have to worry about the details on the day of. It was an absolutely perfect wedding and we are thankful for their help.

Our only area of feedback is based really on their pricing structure. Entering into the agreement, we thought the full package included planning for the weekend not just the day of. We wanted to have several events throughout the weekend - including brunches and bridal party events - and we ended up coordinating those ourselves. While this wasn't a huge issue, we wish we would have known that going in so we could have started some of those processes earlier.

Overall, the girls are wonderful and the event was a great success. We appreciate their work in helping to make our day so special.
