Wanda and the team at Blue Linden were simply amazing for our wedding! We started planning our wedding in March, 2023 for our October, 2024 date. From the very beginning, Wanda felt like a trusted friend who helped us along every step of the planning process. From the first conversation with Wanda, we could tell that she was experienced, organized and was 2-3 steps ahead of us when it came to questions and thought processes she knew would be coming. Which we loved and appreciated at all times! At the same time, Wanda throughout the entire planning process demonstrated so much care, thoughtfulness, authenticity, love and frankly patience towards us and our big day! We like to think of Wanda as being one of those special people who can be firm but gentle all at the same time. After working with her for 18+ months during the planning process, we really got to see and experience her and the Blue Linden team in action during our rehearsal and the wedding itself. And wow- where would we have been without her keeping everything on track?! The attention to detail she and her team demonstrated during our wedding will never be forgotten, and forever appreciated. Even after our wedding, we had plenty of compliments from our guests when it came to Wanda and her professionalism, her demeanor and her kindness. We cannot thank you enough Wanda!!! Wanda was incredibly helpful in planning our wedding, from finding the perfect venue to ensuring all the little details on our big day were accounted for; she truly surpassed our expectations to make everything perfect. She went above and beyond her contractual obligations, making the stressful planning process seamless and structured. We cannot say enough about her contribution to the most important day of our lives, and it wouldn't have been as special as it was without her efforts. She helped us look for cost savings opportunities and helped us manage all of our vendors so that our wedding day was completely hands-off. We decided to skip the videographer, and Wanda was so sweet and recorded our ceremony and speeches on her phone and sent them to us, ensuring we'd capture every moment of our wedding. Hiring Wanda with Blue Linden Weddings & Events was one of the best decisions I made for my Summer 2023 destination wedding in Beaver Creek, CO. Wanda made planning a wedding from out of state incredibly manageable. She provided excellent vendor lists as well as endless information on the area. Throughout our many conversations, Wanda really took the time to get know us and our goals/vision for the day. She helped me keep on schedule as well as create a perfect day-of timeline. While all these things are imperative for a planner, Wanda's ability to juggle the endless tasks on the wedding day is truly an art form. She wrangled my rowdy wedding party, coordinated vendors, worked through weather-based decision, and supported me at every turn with a smile on her face. I have nothing negative to say about her! -

June 2023 Wedding
(For those that like a bit of a background: we chose to have our wedding at a church in downtown Denver and the wedding reception in Sedalia, CO. We were looking for a wedding planner who could help us navigate the vendors, timeline, and coordination of transporting approximately 150 guests from one location to another. Along with this, the majority of our guests were from out-of-state and flying in that weekend.)
How can we thank Wanda enough?!
Wanda, Founder of Blue Linden Weddings and Events, worked with my husband and I for our wedding in June 2023 as our wedding planner. She was outstanding! From our very first conversation together, Wanda put us at ease with the wedding planning process and was extremely knowledgeable. She didn’t miss a beat in helping us streamline our thoughts and desires, helping us bring our vision to life.
For instance, she provided a month-to-month checklist of to-dos leading to the wedding day. She also included samples for the day-of-the wedding timelines. These were helpful in deciding how we wanted to execute our wedding.
Her communication was quick and responsive. She sent reminder emails and was open to phone calls, as needed. She also mediated between our vendors and venues, allowing us to be more focused on the details we enjoyed like cake tasting and picking out our linens. Furthermore, she had amazing connections with many of the local vendors, making conversations with those that we hired natural, organized and overall flawless.
She is knowledgeable in the Denver area, with excellent recommendations for places our out-of-state guests would like to explore and enjoy while in Colorado.
On the day of our wedding, she was there for the both of us every step of the way. She made the day seem effortless, allowing us to enjoy the time spent together with our friends and families, and took care of any of the unforeseeable issues on the big day. She went above and beyond, going to both venues at our request, helping set up before the ceremony and checking in on the bride and groom to make sure we were well taken care of throughout the day. She was very professional, kind to all our guests, and we never felt like she was overbearing in any way. She was there as someone we could lean on when we needed to, and also allowed the day to flow in its own natural way.

BEST Wedding Planner - Professional, Honest and So Much FUN!
If you look up the words professional and wedding planner, you will find Blue Linden Weddings & Events. We cannot recommend Wanda and her team enough. Especially if you are an out-of-state couple (we are from Texas), Wanda is your go to person! Blue Linden Weddings & Events was the first vendor we booked and it was the best start to our wedding planning journey. Her network of quality vendors and knowledge of Colorado venues is unmatched. Not only is she a professional, organized, responsive, and honest - she’s so much FUN! Before our wedding, my husband and I were able to meet her in person while we were looking at venues and we had the best time connecting with her. It was the start to a great relationship and planning adventure.
Through most wedding planning process, there are hiccups along the way. We had an issue with one of our hotel room blocks and Wanda came to bat for us. She talked to the hotel and was able to work out the issue in our favor. We guarantee that Wanda will be your advocate. We are so grateful she was ours. She has basically become a part of our family. Words cannot describe the amount of care, detail, and support that Wanda provided for our big day. We got engaged in Summer of 2021 and picked out a date quickly for July 2023. Wanda was the first vendor we hired after picking our venue and she was there every step of the way. I knew I wanted to plan most of the decor as I was DIYing everything myself, but I needed assistance picking vendors, developing a timeline, and day of help setting up and cleaning up. Wanda was extremely fair in telling us which of Blue Linden’s packages we should pick given we had already picked a venue, and even gave us advice on what to ask other wedding planners we were interviewing (since I was having a hard time coming up with helpful questions, since I’ve never planned a wedding before haha). Once we hired her, she immediately sent over a vision board to help me plan our decorations, a to do list, and vendor recommendations for the remainder of our vendors. Every single one of our vendors (with the exception of photography since we were using our engagement photographer) was recommended by Wanda, and in our interviews with them, every single vendor stated: “Oh you are working with Wanda? Your day is going to be absolutely perfect”. This statement is SO SO SOOOOO true. Leading up to the wedding, we had the normal wedding nerves and last minute frantic calls and texts to Wanda (like all couples do), but she handled every hurdle we threw at her. Then our wedding day: it was absolutely perfect. I woke up the morning of the wedding to a text from Wanda saying to enjoy the day and she can’t wait to see us! In hair and makeup, my only focus was getting to spend time with my bridesmaids and moms, Wanda and her team handled everything else. I then went to first looks with my husband, and Wanda and her team continued to handle everything. It sounds crazy, but I didn’t have to think about or make any decisions on our day. It was the most carefree day I had experienced in a long time (which is CRAZY to say) and my memories will forever be spending time with the people I love, in a place I love, all thanks to Wanda's hard work. Wanda, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the work you put in to help us achieve the wedding of our dreams. I will forever be grateful to you and your team for going above and beyond. If you are thinking about hiring a wedding planner, save yourself the hassle and just hire Wanda and her team. You will have the most special, stress free, magical day all thanks to their expertise.

Wanda and Blue Linden were able to make all our wedding dreams come true. We hired them for day-of coordinating, but also had the relief of their assistance with some of the planning process. They provided introductions and recommendations to various vendors and checked in the perfect amount throughout the planning process. The day of our wedding (and the day prior) their contributions were immeasurable! I’m a DIY bride, and Blue Linden embraced all the challenges that can sometimes present to allow my vision to shine. The setting up process and timeline of events was handled with care and finesse. They even made sure we both had drinks in our hands at all the right times! Wanda and the Blue Linden team were an absolute JOY to work with. Wanda is fun, engaging, and so positive. The months leading up to my "month of" contract with Wanda, she was reaching out with little reminder emails and "things to consider" to keep me on schedule as I continued my wedding planning. She was always available to answer and email, phone call, or text and made time for me leading up to the wedding. I was so impressed during our final walk through how on top of everything Wanda and her team was. She was asking such good questions and making sure all details small and large were taken care of! She creates such a positive, warm environment that other vendors enjoy being a part of.
My friends and family adored Wanda. We are a rowdy bunch and when it came to the rehearsal and ceremony, she knew how to keep everyone in line while also being playful, it was the perfect balance! I was getting comments all weekend from friends and family about how cool and awesome our wedding coordinator was. Ultimately, Wanda made us the priority and really looked out for us. On the day of she made sure we were fed, had a drink in hand, and were having the best day. I cannot recommend Wanda and her team enough. She is a rock star at her job and you can tell when working with her how much she truly loves it! -

We happened upon Wanda and Blue Linden Weddings by chance, and we can't begin to describe how great everything went after that. We immediately knew we had made a good choice when we began talking with other vendors. When our caterers, djs, venue managers, etc., heard we were working with Wanda, we received responses like "You're so lucky, Wanda is the best" and "Oh you have Wanda? Glad to hear you'll be taken care of." After how perfectly our wedding went, we can confidently say Wanda has earned all of the praise she gets from everyone else in the wedding world. Wanda was very professional, amazing at planning every detail (big and small), and was an overall joy to work with. She masterfully handled the rehearsal, and did a fantastic job at handling everything going on at the wedding and with the schedule, while also making us feel like our only worry was to make sure we were having the time of our lives. It has been 3 weeks since the wedding, and members of our wedding party are still telling us how amazed they were by Wanda and her team. Wanda got us through!
Simply put, Wanda knows how to get things done! From the very first phone call, she put me at ease with her obvious knowledge of the wedding planning process. She is thorough, timely and really looks out for her clients. We had a bit of a rough time with our original venue due to COVID concerns and Wanda was right there to listen to me vent, answer my questions and didn’t even blink an eye when we changed locations a little over a month before the big day. In fact, we even felt a little silly still having a planner given the extremely scaled back version, but I am so glad we had Wanda there! She kept us on time, she considered countless little details that I would have never even thought of and just made everything run smoothly so that we could genuinely enjoy our day care-free. Even the rain couldn’t slow us down as Wanda was right there setting up tents in the middle of the cocktail hour! We are so happy that we chose to have Wanda with us for our wedding day, it really would not have been the same without her. Thank you!!! -

My wife looked at me the day after our wedding and her exact words were, "I don't know how anyone gets married without Wanda."
We just went through the process of planning, re-planning, and actually hosting our COVID wedding and Blue Linden made it all possible. Without Wanda, I don't think it could have happened.
She made everything so smooth, recommended and introduced us to amazing vendors, and made sure that our big day was perfect. If there were any issues, we didn't know about them because she just handled them.

Wanda was amazing! When we first started planning, I thought, do we really need a planner? The weeks leading up to, and for sure the day of, we couldn't be more grateful for hiring her.
Planning a wedding in COVID is not easy- and Wanda was there every step of the way! Whether we were doing venue research, she was handling contracts with our vendors, or supporting us through the process, she was there every step of the way.
The day of, we truly were able to relax, and be FULLY present, as we knew all of the behind the scenes details were taken care of. From set up, to break down, and guest communication, she had it ALL covered.
In addition to putting on a seamless event, and working with someone who pays attention to detail, SHE HAS HEART and PASSION! Wanda truly cares about her clients and delivers immpecable events. Wanda was FANTASTIC in helping plan and coordinate my sister's wedding last week in Beaver Creek!!!! Love Always Finds A Way!
Love always finds a way! Planning a wedding is stressful enough.
Planning a wedding out of state, in 7 months, is stressful enough. Then add on the uncertainty of the world right now and the trials and tribulations that come along with planning a wedding during COVID-19. From the minute we spoke to Wanda on the phone, we knew we were in excellent hands. We felt like we were talking to an old friend. Wanda was there to help us every step of the way! Once we were faced with COVID-19, Wanda immediately went in to high gear and we scheduled additional planning calls to put our heads together. We knew we needed to get as creative as possible to plan a wedding, while the world was shutting down around us. Our wedding date of July 17th was important to us, as it was the anniversary of my parents. My fiance and I were committed to honor this special date and share our wedding anniversary with them.
Wanda helped us pull off our dream wedding, against all COVID-19 odds. Wanda always kept our wedding vision in mind and ensured that we were able to host guests at our wedding in a safe and social distancing manner, without compromising our overall wedding dreams. Wanda did an amazing job of keeping us updated on all government and local changes that were occurring in the wedding and event industry. She was always available to hop on a call or text to go over questions and concerns we had. She was open and honest with us, while still remaining a positive voice of reason for us. She wasn't going to let COVID-19 stops us. One way or another, she was going to help make our wedding dreams come true!
And she did just that! The day of the wedding, we knew that Wanda and her team had all of the planning, decorating and timelines under control. As an event planner myself, it was such a relief to know that Wanda was ensuring that the day would be perfect. This allowed us to relax, truly soak it all in and enjoy the day. Our entire wedding day was absolutely perfect! We will forever be thankful for Wanda, her hard work, and her commitment to her clients. We know she will always be a part of our lives and we are thankful she was such a special part of our perfect day! -

There is no way we could’ve said those wonderful I-dos without Wanda’s expertise and perseverance. Hiring Wanda was hands down the best decision we made towards our wedding. She Is extremely organized and thorough down to every last detail. We found out 7 days before our wedding day that we would have to move the entire event to our home due to covid-19 concerns.. and then on top of that had a complete downpour the entire day. Wanda knew exactly what to do every step of the way. She was such an amazing voice of reason and support to us during such a chaotic time. Choosing Wanda was hands down the best choice we made in the entire planning process for our wedding. She has a wonderful vision for creating beautiful events, and her knowledge and experience are irreplaceable expertise when budgeting, working contracts with vendors, and planning all the little details. She listened sincerely to our desires and priorities, and then provided expert guidance when decisions had to be made. She also has wonderful relationships with many of the local vendors, making it so easy to work with them and for all the vendors to integrate flawlessly on the big day. On our wedding day, Wanda’s organization and poise had everything running like a well oiled machine. If there were any snags, I have no idea because she handled everything! We were totally stress free and enjoyed our day because we had complete confidence in Wanda to be our voice in handling any issues and keep the event running seamlessly. My favorite part of working with Wanda was her perfect balance of grace and no-nonsense; we could always count on her to be candid in her advice (which we ALWAYS appreciated!) and to take charge of the situation whenever the need arose so we could simply enjoy being with friends and family. In any otherwise whirlwind day, Wanda thought of every little detail and her finishing touch made it so incredibly special. Thank you Wanda, I can’t recommend Blue Linden highly enough! -

Wanda did a great job helping us plan our Garden of the Gods wedding and coordinating on the day of. She knew all of the details on the day of and helped to execute the look we were going for with setup as well as the timeline we had set for the day. The package that we went with from Blue Linden had some hours of planning support in the months leading up to the wedding as well as day of coordination which was great for us. We felt we didn't want to pay for the entire thing to be planned for us but wanted more than just a day of coordinator since we are from out of state and didn't see the venue at all until the wedding weekend. All of her preferred vendor recommendations worked out well (bakeries, rentals, officiant, etc.). Thanks for everything Wanda!

From the moment that I spoke to Wanda on the phone I KNEW she was the wedding planner for us! Even though she was our day of coordinator she went above and beyond to help us along our wedding journey.
As the bride I was extremely appreciative and thankful when Wanda tackled a to do list I gave her that I just couldn't get to. There were items that weren't in her management services, however she was more than willing to help and alleviated a ton of stress for me by tackling this task.
Wanda and Tina were AH-MA-ZING during our big day! Everything ran smoothly and if there were any issues I didn't know about it. We trusted them with all of the directions, decorations, and details we gave them for our big day. Their attention to detail was FABULOUS! And how can you not mention Wanda's GREAT personality, due diligence, smile, and "knows her stuff" attitude....it was a pleasure!

Not only is Wanda an excellent wedding planner—she can multitask like no one’s business—but she’s also a fabulous person and became a friend for us during our wedding preparation. An Amazing Experience!
Wanda helped my husband and I plan our wedding from out of state and made it our dream day! We had some difficulties with another vendor and Wanda helped us through all of the stress and coordination. She and Tina made our wedding day completely stress free by keeping everything running smoothly including setting up decorations and keeping all of us and the vendors on time. She even assisted with small tasks that came up such as picking up our wedding treats!
I admit that I didn’t think I needed a wedding planner but man was I wrong! And I’m so glad I had Wanda to turn to! I highly recommend Blue Linden to anyone planning their wedding. -

I highly recommend Blue Linden for those who want a stress-free wedding. From the very beginning, Wanda was extremely responsive and professional. Even though I had officially contracted her for the day-of services, she really helped me throughout the whole year leading up to our wedding with any questions, coordinating with vendors, and making sure we were on top of the timeline.
A month before the wedding, we met up for the final walkthrough. I trusted her judgement and told her to use her discretion for any last minute decisions, and felt entirely confident that the day would go smoothly.
She went above and beyond and was very responsive during the whole process. From the beginning to the very end of our time working with her, Wanda was reliable and I recommend her highly.
I should also note that many bridal party members and guests made comments on how great she was, which really shows how much of a service she was to the whole wedding and not just the bride and groom. -

We hired Wanda and her team for full service planning. She was there from the beginning to the very end. Because of her our day was fantastic! If there was a problem that occurred during the day my husband and I never knew. The day of her and her team were on top of everything and we didn't have to lift a finger or worry. During the planning process she was a rockstar. If we needed her help, she was there for us. We were planning a wedding from Tennessee and she was great helping us find local vendors in Colorado and running errands we couldn't be there to do and if we had questions or needed advice she was always there to guide us. She even let us ship decorations to her house ahead of time and stored them for us. There was a snafu the night before our final venue walkthrough where the caterer emailed us at 5pm and said that they weren't going to be there the next morning for the walkthrough. Wanda went to bat for us and turned into protective mama bear and we had someone there the next morning. I still don't know how she managed it. I can honestly say that without Wanda our day would not have been as fantastic as it was. -

In no way would our wedding day or the last month of wedding planning for that matter have gone as well and smoothly if it weren't for Wanda and her team! Not only is Wanda extremely professional and organized but she is easy to talk to and ended up being a great person for me to vent to when certain things hit the fan. No matter what happened we always had someone in our corner and someone to help us pick up the pieces when the ball was dropped by others. I feel like I gained a friend in Wanda and honestly have already started raving about her incredible service to friends at work recently engaged. You cannot go wrong by hiring her, she and her team were likely one of the best choices we made during the planning process, heck both of my parents came up to me separately to say so! -Ashley and Adam -

Wanda and her team are honestly incredible! They are savvy, knowledgeable, organized and personable! I never once’s felt nervous on the day of the wedding and they were able to make my wedding day look better then I had ever imagined! Wanda and Tina were so personable and able to answer all questions I sent or texted with in 24 hours! Our wedding day was perfect and better then I could have ever imagined all related to Wanda and her Team! Blue linden is among the best in this business and I would chose them again if I had to do it all over! -

Lauren Sent on 10/09/2017Wanda was the best part of our wedding. We used her for day of coordination, along with a couple other things. For example, I was struggling with arranging hotel blocks, as we had a mountain wedding and the Vail and Beaver Creek hotels weren't very accommodating. She was happy to help arrange that part, and saved my sanity.
For the day of coordination, we met with her the month before the wedding and reviewed the plans we had already made. I don't know what we would have done without her, because throughout the meeting, she was bringing up things that we hadn't even considered. She put together a comprehensive day of timeline, and wrangled all the other vendors. She also handled the set up of the venue, and everything looked gorgeous. She took all of the decor I had collected and made it look better than I ever could have expected. She is funny and professional, and my family and friends raved about how great she was. The day ran completely smoothly, and she was the reason for it. My only regret is not hiring her to plan the whole thing! It certainly would have been much less stressful than planning it ourselves. -

She is so easy to work with, she is accommodating, flexible and really listens to you, wanting to understand and achieve what your desires are. She is focused, organized, and on top of every detail. Even the ones you don't know are there! I was able to relax and enjoy every minute of my daughters wedding knowing Wanda had everything covered and then some! She is not just wonderful to work with, she is enjoyable and a pleasure to be around. I can't say enough good things about Wanda and the services she offers. She made my daughters wedding flawless and we just can't thank her enough. -

I found Wanda on the Knot and she has absolutely gone above and beyond for me. Her and her amazing assistant Sue have me completely stress free. She is so much more than a DOC. She is my go-to girl for just about everything. She really is outstanding and you can tell she loves her job by seeing how she is quick to get every little thing you need taken care of. I can't imagine what I'd do without her!! STOP LOOKING.. YOU FOUND YOUR WEDDING PLANNER! I could never possibly give her the credit that she deserves. She is just THAT good.
