My fiance and I got engaged and the excitement started to turn into a churning low-level stress as we prepared for the great and unknown task of planning a wedding. I'm not inclined toward meticulous planning, and as someone who gets overwhelmed by large tasks and all of the unknown details that go along with them, we decided to call in a professional. We are SO thrilled we had the honor of having Ashley of Blue Lark Events as our coordinator. She is warm and an instant friend to anyone she meets. She guided us on what to prioritize each month, helped to keep us motivated and excited about the end goal, and had tons of helpful recommendations and resources. It was always a sigh of relief after each monthly meeting with her, seeing that we were in fact on track and crossing off big tasks! Weeks before the wedding, she liaised with the venue, caterers, rental companies, and more, diligently shouldering the responsibilities and ensuring everything was taken care of, effectively lightening our load. On the day of the wedding, she put appetizers in my hands to make sure I got food, a drink in my hand to savor, and made the day so incredibly seamless for us. I can't recommend Ashley and her superpowers enough. She made the best day of our lives possible and we are forever thankful for her! -

Ashley was our wedding day-of-coordinator. She was always quick to answer my hundreds of questions (or ease my worries) leading up to the wedding. For example, our photographer cancelled a few months out from the wedding. Within minutes of telling Ashley the news, she had provided a list of recommendations and contact information. She was also present for the rehearsal, which she ran so smoothly (I had a big wedding party of 18+). She thought of everything, and she also anticipated my husband and my needs before we even realized we needed something – like more comfortable shoes to dance in, snacks, or taking a second to breathe on a busy day. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Blue Lark Events! -

Ashely is so amazing and so on top of things! Her planning made our wedding week calmer than expected which was so nice to be able to enjoy everything. Her monthly check-ins felt like she was going above and beyond for my husband and I, and she kept me sane throughout our whole wedding planning journey. She cared about even the smallest of details and is very organized. She even reached out to all of our vendors to make sure everything was good to go for the wedding day. Her personalized resources for our wedding really helped us stay on track and our wedding turned out just as we envisioned it! Our timeline was created and executed perfectly with the help of Ashely and we would recommend her 100% for anyone who needs a wedding planner!! -

Ashley was fantastic and went above and beyond throughout the whole planning process. I legitimately did nothing in terms of set up or take down on my actual wedding day. she was able to go through all of my boxes of decor and set things up perfectly with no direction from me. I was actually able to enjoy myself and be with my loved ones, which I had not really expected on my wedding day. I had three other friends that had just recently gotten married in, and each one of them made a comment about how Ashley was awesome.
Even when I was in a panic because it was supposed to be 97° on the day of the wedding, I had mentioned that I had already looked for air-conditioning units and couldn’t find anything. I asked her if she could look into it and she had found something within an hour, and secured them for the event.
She communicated with all of my other vendors and by being so involved throughout the planning process, She knew what needed to happen that day and all the different moving parts which made a big difference. I would use Ashley again in a heartbeat. -

Absolutely amazing!!
Ashley is absolutely amazing at her job! She takes all the stress out of wedding planning and makes it fun and exciting! Since her communication is soo great I was not stressed once during my wedding month, including on my wedding day!! Ashley made sure everything I envisioned for my wedding day came to life and she made it perfect! I think that is the best gift any bride could ask for! I would highly recommend Ashley if you are looking for a wedding planner! She’s the very best!! -

Where to even start?! Ashley is amazing. My husband and I felt lost and overwhelmed at the beginning of our wedding planning process. We found Ashley online and gave her a call. Her warm and reassuring vibe gave us a sense of calm. She really helped us plan the wedding of our dreams. The day exceeded our expectations. She kept everything under control and did everything to help our vision come to life. Ashley was organized and help communicated everything out to all of our vendor which felt like a full time job in itself. Like most couples, we didn't want the budget to get out of control and Ashley helped keep that under control as well. If you're looking for a planner, look no further. Ashley is a joy to be around and helped create our favorite day yet! -

Best event coordinator!
Blue Lark Events was absolutely one of my favorite vendors from our wedding. Ashley is really sweet and very thoughtful when it comes to event planning. She has been in the industry for a while and her experience really shows. There was no way that our 12 hour wedding day could have gone without a mishap if it weren’t for Ashley. We hired her for month to month coordination and she worked with us to smooth out all the details. She coordinated with each and every vendor to make sure that things were set to happen accordingly.
There are so many examples of her thoughtfulness, but my favorite was the fact that we wanted to do a private bride & groom dinner in a suite while guests were doing cocktail hour, and she coordinated with our DJ to make sure that he brought extra speakers so we had our own dinner music while we dined in private.
She also took care of wedding details I did not even think of, such as making sure that our photographer and our transportation person were in contact via phone just in case we got separated when we were going to take wedding party pics at Tryon Creek.
On top of all that, she helped set up the church, picked up desserts, and set up our wedding reception venue in a separate location, and our private bride/groom dining suite. She really put out any fire that could have happened and we were able to thoroughly enjoy our special day without worrying about any of the details. For any of your event planning needs, Ashley really is your person to go to! -

Literally the Best, So Glad We Chose Her.
Ashley is absolutely phenomenal! Her communication is top notch, her ability to handle stressful situations is amazing, the work she does is just beautiful.
Ashley did the coordination and flowers for our wedding and she was BY FAR the most incredible vendor we had. I am more than happy to recommend her for any event that you are throwing.
Going above and beyond doesn't even begin to explain how great she is. Ashley provided the best customer service and always was phenomenal. Shes easy to get ahold of, easy to work with, and most importantly, great at her job. -

Blue Lark Events is very professional and personable. Ashley, my Day of Coordinator, is so wonderful to work with! Ashley made an effort to get to know me and helped me from getting overwhelmed or stressed throughout the process. My Matron of Honor had talked me into getting a Day of Coordinator so that I would be able to enjoy my wedding and not stress about anything. I was already planning everything else on my own to keep things budget friendly and really wanted to do everything on my own. However, I listened to my Matron of Honor and when I found Blue Lark Events, everything just fell into place! Ashley was a breath of fresh air from the time we first contacted each other and started talking about my needs for the wedding. I appreciate Ashley’s flexibility and organizational skills. I am currently a medical student out of state and she was able to work with my schedule. I appreciate how accessible she is to schedule webcam meetings, responsive emails, and even texts during the wedding prep/day. Ashley thought of things that I would have never been able to think about while planning. With her past experiences, she was able to think ahead and plan things accordingly. She made sure things got done the way that I wanted and talked with me if things needed to be adjusted. She has an instinct about the flow of the environment and schedule for the day. She is also respectful of my time and accomplished discussing all our updates with each meeting. She was respectful and a great communicator to my other vendors and worked well with them to ensure a smooth transition with everyone. I had little children participate as bearers and a flower girl and she was wonderful with them! She made sure to get on their level, speak to them accordingly, and encouraged them when it was their time to do something. While we were setting up our barn venue, Ashley interacted with some of my bridal party who was helping to set things up and after the setup, they would tell me how much they enjoyed working with her. Even my guests noted how much care and attention Ashley took into my wedding. At the end of the event, my husband and I were very pleased and joyful with our wedding day. I trust Ashley with any event and I know that she will work with everyone to make sure our dream event comes true!
