Choosing a wedding photographer is so so important, and I didn’t fully realize how important it is until we got our photos back. I knew our day was special, but working with Cassandra made it that much more so! She is an amazing photographer who goes well above and beyond.
On our wedding day, she took both stills and videos and we were so excited to be her first wedding video clients. Our video is amazing, and we look at our pictures every day. Not only did my husband and I feel seen and captured as we truly felt on that day, she took absolutely beautiful photos of our family and friends. I am incredibly grateful that we chose to work with her.
In addition to taking beautiful photos, she went above and beyond in helping out with little things on our day, and in helping adjust our timeline when needed/locate people for photos/find creative ways to take photos that we truly treasure.
Our photos were ready so quickly and truly- our wedding video is such a gift and truly captured the tone of the day. I couldn’t recommend her more highly and for any big events we have in our future we will absolutely reach out to Blue Canoe Photography! -

Book Blue Canoe Photography for any and all of your photography needs! Guys, I can’t even begin to tell you all the wonderful things about Cassandra. First, she is so so so so talented, but also she is just a gem of a human being. We booked a wedding photography package with Blue Canoe Photography and are so ecstatic we did! We booked a package that included an engagement session and a highlight film of the wedding day and would highly recommend you do the same – it is worth it! At the time of writing this review, we have just recently received our final wedding photos and highlight film. We are so in love with all of them! When we started planning our wedding, I was actually pretty nervous about the pictures part. I thought it was going to be awkward, but after we did our engagement session with Cassandra, I kept saying how excited I was for the wedding photography! She is so easy going and made my now-husband and I so comfortable. And she has such an eye for the shot! She had never done a session at the location we chose for our engagement photos, and she just saw the most beautiful shots on the fly! (all while being eaten to death by mosquitos!)
Flash forward to our wedding photos experience, we love our photos!! Every time we look at them, we love them even more than the time before. Cassandra captured our day sooo beautifully. And the video! Like I said, I’m so ecstatic that we chose the highlight film; it came out soo well, too. The day was such a blur, and Cassandra’s work really has allowed me to look back and remember all the little things and the big things. It was soo fun to see the happiness on everyone’s faces!! At this point we have shared the photos with our family, and they are so impressed too!
Since the day we did our engagement photos, I have been raving about her. I raved about her during the wedding day itself, and I continue to rave about her now! We could not be happier with choosing Blue Canoe Photography for this special occasion and will definitely continue to book Cassandra’s services for future life milestones we may want to capture!

Cassandra went above and beyond my expectations. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer on our wedding day. The groom and I are not fans of photos of ourselves, but with her photos, we can't even pick a favorite! She even somehow hid the fact that I had a HORRIBLE cold that day and felt terrible. Cassandra not only captured the magic and beauty of the venue but the love and goofiness in our guests and in each other.
She is so organized, down to what times and who you want pictures with; but is so flexible when things change. The groom ended up being 2 hours late to the venue and she was able to get individual photos of him and was able to squeeze in the first look.
Her excitement and love for photography shines through her work and gets you even more excited to see the final product. Cassandra, I can't thank you enough for capturing my dream wedding and making it look as magical as it felt. -

I couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos
Choosing blue canoe photography was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! Cassandra is professional, fun, personable, and takes gorgeous photos! She was accommodating, flexible, and punctual. I truly can’t say enough good things about her and her work!! We got so many amazing wedding photos that I can’t pick a favorite. Cassandra was absolutely amazing. I was hesitant that since we were eloping it would feel small but she made our day look exactly as it was… full of love and happiness. She captured some of the most breathtaking shots and we are lucky enough to look back on these photos for the rest of our lives. Cassandra was quick to respond and had all of our questions answered. Cassandra/Blue Canoe is THE BEST!
Not only did we love Cassandra's photos, we REALLY loved working with her! We did an engagement session in the spring so that we could all get to know each other a little bit, and we knew we had made the right choice after spending an hour+ with her. We loved how all of our photos turned out, and she was quick and diligent to troubleshoot any issues (like a second photographer getting COVID a few days before the wedding- she found someone else!), she's so friendly and fun and clearly loves doing this work! Her pricing is very fair as well. Highly recommend hiring Cassandra and Blue Canoe- you will not regret it! -
