Carol delivered!

Carol was fantastic to work with! She was always incredibly prompt, often responding to questions within hours (if not minutes), and she was a really great value for the amount of florals we wanted. I was curious to see how they’d turn out as my requests seemed different than what she had posted on her Instagram, but Carol captured my vision perfectly!

Excellent arrangements and excellent attention to detail.

Carol at Blossoms was amazing. Flowers were beautiful, service was above and beyond. We called the night before the wedding with an exit sign dilemma. Solution was perfect! Highly recommend!

Best Florist!

Blossoms was our florist for our wedding, and we cannot recommend Carol highly enough! The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, and Carol really listened to our preferences to give us exactly what we were hoping for. She was extremely personable, professional, and flexible with us as we were deciding what we wanted for our floral arrangements. So many guests at the wedding remarked at how beautiful the flowers were! I would 100% recommend Blossoms to anyone who is looking for a florist for their wedding.

Beautiful Blossoms Florists

Carol is an extremely talented florist. Her love of her work shows through her beautiful arrangements. When I went to my flower viewing appointment I described briefly of what I was looking for in my bridal bouquet. I don’t know flowers very well so my language in the department was limited. It took her less than 10 minutes to put something together that was EXACTLY what I had imagined. For Carol to have been able to pull that off really shows how talented she is. We also had to postpone our wedding two times. Carol was kind and patient and was sympathetic to our situation. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Blossoms Florist.

Definitely recommend!

I can't recommend Carol enough - her work is absolutely beautiful, and her prices are very reasonable. She is also so easy and pleasant to work with, and was so helpful, no matter what changes we needed to make. One lovely thing that she did was she made samples of our centerpiece and bouquet flowers, so we could give input and make sure everything was exactly what we wanted. Carol far exceeded our vision, and we were blown away by how beautiful everything was on the day of our wedding. Our flowers were beyond stunning, and we got so many compliments!

Amazing - best florist in cincinnati

5 out of 5 would recommend Blossoms to every bride! Leading up to our wedding, Carol was a joy to work with, especially through all of the changes we made due to COVID-19 and some family health issues. The flowers at our wedding were exactly what we wanted and were absolutely stunning! We cannot wait for Carol and her team to be a part of our renewal of the vow ceremony & reception next year when the pandemic is behind us. If you need a florist, Blossoms is the best in Cincinnati!

Breathtaking!

I cannot recommend Carol and Blossoms enough! What she can turn a few flowers into is nothing short of magic. Our flowers, arrangements, and centerpieces were amazing and seeing the final setup on our wedding day was breathtaking. There is nowhere else I will turn for my floral needs.

Amazing experience

Carol with Blossoms florist is an absolute god send. I gave her my vision and boy did she deliver! I showed her pictures if the arrangements I wanted and she NAILED IT!!! To a T everything was so gorgeous and PERFECT!!! I cannot thank Carol enough for the beauty she provided the day of my wedding. My flowers were the ONE thing I wanted to spend money on, and she really did not dissappoint. Carol is a pleasure to work with, always available, and she will make it happen for you. I highly reccomend Carol and Blossoms Florist!!

Excellent experience from beginning to end

We had a baseball themed wedding and the bridesmaids flowers were perfect. They looked like a baseball. I ordered 5 bridesmaids bouquets, 4 corsages, rose petals and my red roses bouquet ( she didn't make the baseball roses in my bouquet). We also rented 50 candle holders and 10 vases. She made suggestions to help with the flowers and decorations.

The only florist on the planet!!!!

I am just obsessed with Carol Ruffin’s work. Blossom’s is my go to floral recommendation for anyone in need of arrangements or decor.

She cares and her team cares! That is reflected in the product so much so that she is the one I recommend to every client I have who is looking for a florist.

She did my wedding in 2010 and I have never gone anywhere else since. My mother in law is allergic to live flowers and she made her a silk corsage to use. Very accommodating!

We loved everything about using Blossoms Florist! Carol was super friendly and energetic. All of the flowers turned out amazing. They worked extremely well in coordinating with our other vendors, which relieved some of our stress. Not knowing exactly what we wanted (we only knew color scheme) they really created flower arrangements that were beyond amazing! It is like she knew exactly what we wanted without us knowing what we wanted. It was all great!

I am convinced that Carol at Blossoms is our fairy godmother. She saved our wedding day after another florist cancelled on us. One month from our wedding day, she jumped in and gave us flowers more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. Carol's team executed my brother's wedding in such a flawless way that I couldn't help booking them for my own wedding. Upon first consultation, they had flower arrangements already set up in the color scheme I was hoping for. As a person who isn't terribly creative, they truly helped me make decisions I felt comfortable with.

Carol's flower arrangements were amazing. We had picked out exactly what we wanted and given her as many pictures as possible to make sure there was no doubt as to what we wanted. (That is essential for any vendor because pictures speak a thousand words.) She did 2 complimentary mock ups for our shower, so that we could see she was on the right track-and she was. We took pictures of those and kept them in her folder to ensure no mix ups. Carol does a lot of weddings, so I can't emphasize how important the pictures are for color, design and arrangement purposes.
We made several appointments to stop in and discuss exactly what we were thinking about, and she mocked up a design of the tall and low table decorations while we were sitting there. She added flair and creativity to our suggestions: bringing out various alternatives to ensure perfection.
She did have us fill out the paper work specifying what vases and vessels we wanted. That is in your best interest because it leaves nothing to the imagination. Definitely do that.
Her costs are amazing compared to the other vendors in town who tie your imagination down to basic designs that cost more. The sky is the limit with Carol, and her prices remain reasonable. Full payment ahead gets a nice discount too. She does not nickel and dime you to death after you have decided what you want. She throws in all the vases, table mirrors and candle accessories for free. You do pay for the candles which she supplies at cost.
On the day of the wedding, her team came in a timely manner (she had checked out and driven to the location ahead of time to avoid day of mix ups!!!), the team arranged the room beautifully, and pick up was timely the next week.
As all brides should do: stay in touch on a regular basis confirming details with her, send lots of pictures, and babysit the details to ensure a perfect day.

Carol and her team brought tears to my eyes when I saw what our meetings, voicemail's, screen shots, emails, texts etc. created. It was EXACTLY what I had envisioned. She created the most beautiful flower arrangements that I have ever seen. Throughout the day guests would comment about the colors and how beautiful they looked up against the bridesmaid dresses and the venue. She is a VERY hard worker and truly enjoys what she does. Her positivity and sweet nature helped immensely during the year of planning. I found myself venting to her one day about the bakery and she AGAIN brought tears to my eyes and was telling me how everything will work out and I shouldn't worry...and she was right. I cannot speak more highly of her, she was my favorite vendor by far. I would recommend Blossoms to any family member, close friend or fellow bride to be :) Carol will make you shine.

I cannot adequately express my gratitude for Carol of Blossoms for all she did throughout our wedding planning process. Not only is she incredibly talented, with a magic touch for floral arrangements, but she is exceedingly kind and an absolute joy to work with. When it comes to her arrangements, she has a true intuition for understanding what the theme of the wedding will be and how best to complement it. Throughout the selection process, Carol went above and beyond to ensure we were going to be happy with her arrangements and gave us plenty of opportunities leading up to the big event to tweak the proposed options, which gave us peace of mind leading up to the big event. Beyond her talents with floral arrangements, Carol’s sincerity and positive attitude made for a wonderful relationship. When my husband and I would make whirlwind wedding planning trips to Cincinnati (we lived in Baltimore, Boston, and Chicago at different stages of the process) and meet with a myriad of vendors, she was a refreshingly peaceful presence that always brightened our (often stressful) days. Now with the wedding behind us, I can confidently say that Carol is a wonderful and incredibly talented friend who helped make our wedding even more beautiful than we imagined.

I searched and searched for a florist for my wedding, but from the moment I met Carol from Blossoms, I knew she was going to be the one for me! Talking to her about my wedding and my life, I felt like I was talking to a friend! She was just so great, and her talent is out of this world! She met with me many times to make sure my vision would come to life perfectly at my wedding! Carol and her team did a stunning job - better than I could have ever imagined. The flowers were flawless, and even more beautiful than all of the inspiration pictures I gave her! My wedding was Aspen, Colorado themed, and the theme was really brought to life with the beautiful floral arrangements. Carol rented birch vases and wooden rounds to put all of the flowers on for the centerpieces. She even made "sample" bouquets for me to put on display at my bridal shower! Her service was out of this world. I would strongly recommend Carol from Blossoms to anyone searching for a wedding florist!

If you need beautiful, creative flower arrangements, you owe it to yourself to call Carol!! My mother was a florist and we love to see the beauty they have, enhanced by true talent. Carol delivered. We had three different table arrangement, short, tall and cylinder. All were exquisite and admired by all. Her pricing is very reasonable, her skill amazing and her flexibility and creativity a blessing. I even got to take some of the arrangements home for after wedding brunch, making it an even better value, and using the beautiful flowers again. Please give her a call. You will not be disappointed!

Carol at Blossoms was fantastic to work with and my wedding flowers were truly stunning. I know very little about flowers and from the beginning Carol was extremely helpful and made making decisions easy. After the trial I knew my wedding flowers would be beautiful but when I saw them on the day of the wedding I was blown away; Carol had exceeded every expectation I had. We received so many compliments on our table arrangements and bouquets and how much they added to the beauty of the wedding. Carol made my son's wedding at Ault Park look stunning! There is no limit to her talent and professionalism. She is not a florist; she is an artist! Whatever the event, if flowers are needed, do not look anywhere else!

I was pleased with all of the wedding vendors, but I most adored those flowers. Many, many of the wedding guests commented on the gorgeous flowers, as well. Carol is not only a top-notch florist, she is a wonderful person and friend.

I initially met with Carol from Blossom's upon referral from a friend who had used her for her wedding last year. I was very impressed with Carol's ability to creatively put together a gorgeous bouquets on the spot. She is definitely the most reasonably priced florist in the Cincinnati area and her new location in the Reading Bridal District is great! Our bouquets, boutineers, corsages and gazebo flowers were great! I definitely recommend you check out Blossoms!

Carol at Blossoms was absolutely amazing! I was so happy with the flowers at my wedding. The bouquets, boutonnieres, church arrangements, and reception table displays were all absolutely beautiful! I wanted my flowers to be unique and fun, and Carol was so patient with me and really worked with me to make changes and find what I really wanted. We went to several other florists beforehand, but Blossoms had a lot of examples in the shop, gave us an estimate right up front, and was so reasonable! Carol even gave us arrangement examples to take home, which was just a treat. She called me on my wedding day to make sure I was happy with everything too. I have already recommended Blossoms to several of my friends getting married!

I absolutely LOVED Carol at Blossoms. Above and beyond my other vendors, I would recommend her the most to any bride. She is so sweet, flexible, talented, etc. Our flowers were above and beyond what I could have imagined. I really wanted peonies for my bouquet, and getting married in March it was going to be tough. Carol went out of her way to not only get me peonies, but the most perfect peonies ever :)

I did not have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding. She delivered everything right on time, and the flowers at the reception were set up beautifully. I can't thank her enough for such a spectacular job done.

My flowers were AMAZING...thanks to Carol at Blossoms!! She really put together the most beautiful bouquets for me and my bridesmaids and it was exactly what I was looking for! Carol was amazing! She worked with my budget allowing me to get 16 boutineers, 6 bridesmaid bouquets, 8 corsages, and my bouquet for under $600! Everything was very beautiful and she was very professional.

Carol at Blossoms did a wonderful job on the flowers for our daughter's wedding celebration. She was very responsive from start to finish. The bouquet, flowers for the cake and all the arrangements were beautiful! Good value for the money. Thanks for helping the day special.

I found a picture of dark burgundy roses and calla lilies and fell in love. After visiting a few florists and learning how expensive these flowers were, Carol was my last shot. I read online that her prices were very reasonable and it was true- she came in well below the other florists I met with. Working with her was a little different than I expected- she didn’t have a ton of weddings each weekend, she didn’t have a “lookbook”… but she definitely knows flowers. She took us to the florist warehouse downtown so we could see the exact flowers as she made up the samples. In the end, everything was exactly what we talked and we loved it! Got a ton of compliments and would highly recommend Carol! My only suggestion is that I was pretty neurotic about writing it all down so I wouldn’t forget and I think that was helpful to keep us on the same page.

Stop looking for another florist, because Carol is it! She took a picture I had ripped out of a magazine and changed it to fit my specifications and everything was PERFECT. Carol does everything the big florists do but at a much better price.

My mom has since ordered flowers from Carol, all have been beautiful. My sister-in-law is using her for her wedding in July as well!

Carol was amazing!! I loved our flowers, especially my bouquet! She worked with every request I asked for. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and that the flowers were what we wanted. She also helped us save money by suggesting we share church flowers with the wedding before ours. Carol has years of experience and is wonderful at her job. I could not have been happier with our flowers!

The flowers for my daughter's wedding were gorgeous as I knew they would be. I wanted the guests to be WOWED when they walked into the reception, and they definitely were. The girls' bouquets and all the corsages were also lovely. Carol knows how to work magic.

Carol was outstanding to work with!! She was fun, sweet, and excited for my big day. Her team was also great to work with. Very friendly and more than willing to spend as much time as you need to figure out exactly what you want. She is definitely better to communicate with on the phone instead of other email. She is extremely busy, but always answers her phone or responds to voice mails. The end product of the flowers was even better than I imagined!

Blossoms Florist was wonderful and Carol is awesome!

Carol from Blossoms did an amazing job for our reception, and the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets were exactly what I pictured. Sometimes she was a little disorganized, which caused some concern, but it didn't take away from her beautiful work and the great value her business offers for brides that don't want to spend an arm and a leg for flowers. Another plus, which she might not offer anymore, is her collection of decorations, centerpieces, bowls, votives, etc.. all free of cost for rent! We saved so much money using Carol as a decorator for centerpieces, candles, etc... our reception looked stunning!

Carol at Blossoms is a little disorganized, but her floral arrangements are beautiful! I had to remind her several times of what I wanted in my bouquet and centerpieces which was a little frustrating and stressful. She is also a little hard to get a hold of on the phone, but is fairly quick to respond to email.

On our wedding day everything was perfect though. I couldn't have been more happy with our flowers. Her prices are VERY reasonable too. Despite being a little difficult to contact I'd still highly recommend her.

We had been warned prior to going with this florist that she can sometimes be hard to get in touch with, which we found to be true. Multiple phone calls and emails went unanswered. A week before the wedding she told me that I needed to fill out a form and asked me what my flowers were supposed to look like, which was not what I needed during that stressful time. All of that said, her flowers were beautiful and we received many complements from our guests. Her work is amazing, and if you are the type of bride who goes with the flow and are alright with not having responses quickly I highly suggest her.

Our wedding planner recommended Carol at Blossoms Florist and said she always follows through, but warned us that she can be flaky. Well, Carol is a great person, but as a business owner she needs MAJOR help! She is the MOST disorganized person I have ever met! I went above and beyond and made Carol typed out inventory sheets on number/kinds of flowers, where they should be placed at the venue, number of candles and where they go, and the number of vases we needed. I also gave her EXACT photos of what we wanted. We ended up having 2 mock-up trials. The 1st did not go well and we did not like our flowers. The 2nd trial went great and we had beautiful flowers. However, after calling/emailing multiple times to get a final bill, we never got it! We had to sit down and help her type out our entire bill and show proof that we had already paid for half. Then, the week of the wedding Carol contacted me for photos? She said she had no record of me sending them already? I resent all photos including photos from our trial, so she couldn’t mess this up, right? Well, the ceremony flowers were delivered to our hotel and we had to transport them. This was after she told us she can only deliver to the ceremony and reception. The ribbon color used was white, when all my documents say ivory and Carol even confirmed with me in person we wanted ivory. Our dinner table flowers looked nothing like the beautiful arrangement we saw in our mock-up. They were small and didn’t have nearly as many flowers. Also, there was not nearly as many candles as I requested. No one at our wedding noticed something was wrong with our flowers, but the fact is, we gave Carol all the tools to succeed over and over and she still let us down. She may be less expensive than other florists, but it does not save you the headache from having to babysit her. I hope she hires more staff to help her get organized and help run her business because she actually is good with flowers, just awful at running her business.
