If you’re planning your destination wedding in PR, do yourself a huge favor and book Sofia as your wedding planner – you will not regret it!
From the moment we began working with Bloom Events PR, Sofia and her team were super knowledgeable and very well connected within the PR Wedding Industry. As someone who is a planner and likes to be in control of everything, it was such a relief to be able to hire someone who is not only knowledgeable in her work, but also very reliable, trustworthy, and honest.
Based on our budget and our preferences, Sofia was able to recommend vendors that would be the best match for us. In addition to scouting the vendors, she handled all communications, proposal requests, and bookings of each vendor. She was very organized, keeping all of our information in a project board that we were able to access, and was always very responsive to any of our questions. From start to finish, my husband and I had a 5-star quality experience and we are so grateful for Sofia and her amazing team. Sofia & Bloom Events PR Team – thank you for giving Victor and I the wedding of our dreams! It was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined, all thanks to you! -

Sofia made things amazingly smooth for us. We are from NY and we would not have been able to do it without having her. We did partial planning and even with this she helped us tremendously, from vendors , sticking to our budget , and the organization was on point. She was a huge help and overall amazing energy that you need the day of. Highly recommended -

Las palabras no son suficiente para expresar el magnífico trabajo que realizó Sofía desde el día uno de coordinación. Siempre estuvo atenta, dispuesta y disponible para tratar asuntos relacionados a nuestra boda y siempre con buenos consejos y recomendaciones. El día del evento, Sofia y su equipo fueron muy importantes para nosotros. Estuvieron al pendiente de TODOS los detalles y nada se les escapó. No hay manera de expresar nuestro agradecimiento hacia Sofia. Sin importar la hora, Sofia siempre estaba disponible para contestar todas nuestras preguntas. Vivimos en US y nuestro sueño siempre fue casarnos en nuestra isla Puerto Rico. El no poder estar presencial para la gran mayoría de nuestras reuniones con los vendors no fue un obstáculo gracias a Sofia. Las palabras no son suficientes para agradecer todo lo que Sofía hizo por nosotros. Sofía siempre estaba disponible para aclarar nuestras dudas e inquietudes. Siempre estaba disponible para acompañarnos a las citas. También tenía accesibilidad a excelentes vendors. Aunque el COVID-19 cambio algunos planes, fue capaz de organizar la boda tal y como la soñamos. Fue una boda súper organizada, con un equipo que estuvo pendiente a cada detalle. Como pareja realmente nos disfrutamos cada paso de la boda, desde el inicio en planificación. Y sin hablar del día de la boda. Ese día nos sentimos tan felices y tranquilos, y todo por Sofía. Phenomenal Planner.
Planning a wedding is never easy, that's why we as brides/grooms invest in a planner. Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic sounds like a recipe for chaos. Dates, venues, vendors get changed on the whim and man where we nervous that our wedding wouldn't be that of our dreams. Wow, we were so relieved that god blessed us with Sofia from Bloom Events! She executed our vision and it exceeded our highest expectations. She provided us with a dream wedding that we didn't even know we could achieve. Sofia was super patient, understanding, resourceful and when an unforeseen problem arises she handled it head on and in the process reassured us that things would all work out, and that it did! She suggested and communicated with all the vendors during this process which lessen the wedding stress. The day of the wedding she handled everything with such grace that me or my husband didn't have to worry about a thing. We had the wedding of our dreams because of Sofia! I highly recommend her. She is the #1 go to wedding and party planner in Puerto Rico!. We would definitely use her service for our vow renewal! -

My husband and I live in the states--he is a native Spanish speaker, but I am not. It was really important for us both to be married in Puerto Rico where he grew up, but I was worried about the challenges of planning a wedding from overseas. Enter Sofi. I really don't think we would have pulled off such a perfect wedding day without her help and expertise. She introduced us to lots of vendors, scheduled in-person visits with them when we came to visit the island, and coordinated every detail with the vendors through the night of. She organized everything for us online, was incredibly responsive by email and there for us if we wanted to chat or facetime. I really appreciated all of Sofi's expert advice and her opinions. She helped me craft my vision for decor, flowers, and the overall feel and look of the wedding. Our wedding was PERFECT. Not only was it beautiful, but my husband and I were able to completely let loose and have fun the entire night, because we knew Sofi and her team had everything well taken care of. To this day all of our guests keep telling us how it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I feel bad for all of my friends getting married next year, because their wedding won't compare to ours! Woops! Thank you Sofi & team :) -

My husband and I live in London and were planning a wedding in PR without being able to go there prior to it - this is why we hired Sofia and it was the best decision. She really made our vision come to life. I texted her a lot, often at 7am her time and she would always be quick to respond and follow up with my 1 million questions. She put together a great set of vendors that met our budget constraints but also executed on our vision. She ensured everything went smoothly the day of and any request I had was met in seconds. She really made sure we were taken care of and had fun. It was such an amazing event and it would not have been possible without Sofia. We will be eternally grateful! -

We had an amazing experience working with Sofia on planning our destination wedding in PR. She brought a ton of value to the wedding planning process by introducing us to vendors who fit our vibe and also helped us save money! On the wedding day she was instrumental in implementing a Plan B due to rain and keeping me calm and in the moment. It went seamlessly. She is also such a pleasure to work with and has positive and relaxed energy (that I definitely needed while planning!). Highly recommend! -

When I initially set out on planning my wedding, I thought I was going to do it all by myself. I knew I could but I quickly realized that I deserved and needed to invest in a wedding planner so that I could not have my entire life revolve around my wedding.
Sofia stood out against the crowd due to her flexibility, organization, and her incredibly kind & bubbly personality. I'm so happy I went with Sofia - she was very organized and responsive despite blackouts on the island (which are commonplace) and a packed out schedule. Our monthly meetings were incredibly helpful and I often looked forward to chatting with her due to her ability to approach everything calmly. Her use of Trello to help organize and communicate with her clients is a gamechanger, especially for someone like me who works in theatrical events and so I really treated this like I would treat a large project for work.
I really don't think I would've been able to relax and fully enjoy my day if it wasn't for Sofía and her team. They were so kind, attentive, and truly handled everything from last minute plan changes due to weather irregularities, helping me bustle my dress, to making sure I always had a drink in my hand.
Sofia was really helpful in navigating my remaining vendors that I needed booked, especially while I was in PR taking care of elderly family members. This was money well spent and also someone I very much look forward to connecting with during my returns trips to PR. Thank you Sofía and team for your incredible work and helping to make our wedding possible!!!!
