  We were on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, but ultimately decided that a day-of coordinator was a must. After doing quite a bit of researching, we ended up hiring Wrap it Up for the week-of and it was the best decision we could have made! Jordyn Vignolo was an absolute dream to work with! After our first meeting, she jumped right in and took over all communication with our vendors, giving us more time to focus on other priorities. She was organized, detail-oriented, punctual, and thoughtful throughout the ceremony rehearsal and the wedding day. She never missed a beat and went the full day with a smile on her face. You could tell that this was her passion which made us feel confident, comfortable and worry-free all day. I can’t recommend her, or Wrap it Up Parties, enough!

  I highly recommend Katie Kozlowski (formerly of Dettagli Weddings and now with Bliss). I hired Katie for my wedding July at the Ivy Room, and it was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning! My only regret is that I would have purchased her services for full scope wedding planning rather than just week of coordination. Bridesmaid forgot to press her dress? No problem, Katie has a steamer on hand the day of. Lantern broke over one of the tables? No worries, Katie and her assistant will hand pick all of the glass from the tables and sweep. Curling iron needed to retouch a bridesmaid’s down ‘do? Ok, Katie will run across the street and pick one up for you right now! My friends and family kept commenting on how relaxed I was the day of the wedding, and I have to say, it was because I felt totally confident in Katie’s ability to handle all of the details. She is amazingly efficient and detail-oriented, and will be such a great calming influence the day of the wedding!

  I can not say enough about Katie. She was my sister's wedding coordinator in 2008, and when I got engaged summer of 2010, she was the only thing I knew I had to have at my wedding!
  
  The girl moves mountains...and makes it look easy and fun.
  
  No joke, I picked my wedding date around her availability. I knew I'd be spending a lot of time on my wedding day (and the days leading up) communicating with my wedding planner, and I wanted somebody I would enjoy being around.
  
  It was very important to me that the tone of the pre-activies through the reception was fun and easy going despite the complicated logistics I had woven in to the weekend. Katie was just the person to pull it all off! She will be there as a friend, a confidant, and the ultimate wedding professional.

  We literally do not know what we would have done without Katie & Dettagli weddings. We never worried, Katie was always there with an idea or solution. We trusted her 100% and she made our wedding truly amazing!! HIGHLY recommend Dettagli!

  We loved working with Kara Superfine. We went with the month of service, and it was perfect. Kara was available for phone or email consultation as needed prior, but during the last 4-6 weeks before the wedding, she was there every step of the way. She took over everything at the perfect time, and allowed us to focus on other things rather than worrying about all of the small details. She coordinated all logistics with our vendors, and put out any fires without us even knowing. On the day of, she took care of everything, and this really allowed us to enjoy the day. I couldn't imagine our day being as great without her. We definitely reccomend Kara Superfine and Bliss Weddings!

  We humbly bow to Kara Superfine as our Wedding Planning Goddess!!!
  I cant say enough about how amazing she is! There wasn't a detail that went missed.
  We hired Bliss for the month of our wedding, they were highly recommended by more than one person in the bridal business.
  When we met Kara we loved her from the start, she listened to all of our needs, and was always there when we had questions.
  She went over all of our vendor contracts ( found a few discrepencies too, and helped us smooth that over before the wedding)
  the rehearsal & day of the wedding, she never stopped , she was everywhere.. several of my other vendors commented on how she was the most hands on planner they had ever seen.. if anything was wrong.. she fixed it! From flowers, to chairs, to crazy family members!

  All I can say is I feel so lucky to have had Dettagli as our wedding planner and can not say enough good things!! I had a huge June wedding and Katie made sure everyone and everything about the day was coordinated exactly how she knew we envisioned. My husband and I were able to truly relax and enjoy each other on our wedding day because we had Katie to take care of orchestrating all the details. Anytime I had a question, she was there to email or talk to over the phone with a helpful response. On the day of the wedding, even my dad and bridesmaids came up to me and commented on how impressed they were with Katie. I know everyone dreams of a perfect wedding day and you cannot ask for more with this company. By far the best!! I dont usally write reviews but I was so impressed with them that I felt like all future brides need to know about this treasure!

  Katie, the owner of Dettagli, is amazing. Seriously, amazing. We knew we wanted Katie as our wedding coordinator from day one - I had seen her in action at a friend's wedding and was sold. "Katie Wedding Planner" - as we affectionately refer to her is the epitome of what a wedding planner should be. She's infectiously bubbly and positive and can instantly make you feel at ease and comfortable like you've known her for years.... and at the same time she's grounded, professional, organized (SO organized), savvy and helpful. We hired Katie for the full planning experience - so we had the benefit of her expertise for the entire year of planning. I'm not the best decision-maker.... to say the least, and Katie patiently helped me through everything. And, her willingness to go above and beyond is unlike any vendor I've ever dealt with. Our wedding went off without a hitch. Seamlessly. I've never been to or heard of a wedding that went off without ANY issues. None. I attribute that 100% to Katie and her assistants. At any point in the process, I never doubted our decision to go with Dettagli. They delighted and impressed us every step of the way.

  We used Dettagli for our day-of coordinator, and they did a fantastic job! The entire day ran like clockwork, everyone knew exactly what they needed to do, and it was all thanks to Kate Z. She got our whiny flower girls down the aisle, made sure we got to sit and eat before socializing, kept our dj cued in for all our big reception events and every single wedding party member and other vendor absolutely adored her. Great value for the price, best money we spent on the entire wedding!

  If I could give Katie 6 or 7 stars out of 5 in each of the above categories, I would. Katie was some of the best money we spent on the entire wedding, hands down. She is an absolute doll, super sweet and most of all, incredibly organized. Katie had all of our little details memorized the week before the wedding - she knew who got the well done filet and which table he was at, the order in which the bridal party would be announced at the reception, and on and on. Everyone at the rehersal and the wedding could not stop telling me how lovely and helpful Katie was.
  
  Here are a couple detailed examples of just how helpful Katie was the days leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding: When our caterer let our contact go 4 days before my wedding, Katie stepped in took care of everything. The week before my wedding, I had a million little things to do, I can't imagine how I would have gotten anything done if I had had the added stress of confirming details with our caterer that week. She set up conference calls with multiple people at the catering company and confirmed and re-confirmed all of the little details that were born in the 10 months leading up to that weekend. She didn't even mention these conversations to me, it came up when the new catering contact called me to confirm something else. This is so indicative of how Katie works - her main priority is the bride and the groom. She wanted to make sure that everything ran 100% smoothly and that we were calm and cool, she didn't even mention all the trouble she was going to for us behind the scenes.
  
  There was another incident that could have morphed into a major snafu had it not been for Katie. After the ceremony, we boarded the trolley for some pictures downtown. My husband and I were taking a couple pictures right outside the board of trade when I jumped on him for a cute pose. Right when I did this, my dress split right along the side - the zipper gave way and my left side was completely exposed. This wasn't just a little split a couple inches long, this was a major hole, from my armpit to below my waist on my right side, it was something that pins or safety pins could not have helped. We ducked into a nearby hotel for warmth and called Katie for advice on what to do. Katie was at the our reception site helping direct set-up, but quickly got on the phone with Vera Wang and my seamstress. She had a dress lined up for me at the store to wear in case my dress was unfixable, but luckily, my seamstress was still open and we were able rush over in a cab to The Dress Doctor while my seamstress sewed me back in with thick white thread. Katie even cabbed it over to The Dress Doctor to make sure I was doing okay and hung out for 15 minutes to make sure I was alright. Luckily, everything worked out in the end and my dress held up well for the rest of the night.
  
  You can plan for things to go wrong and have back-up plans in place, but some things may happen that you would never have anticipated (i.e., my dress 'incident' mentioned above). It's wonderful to have someone there for you with your best interests at heart. Katie fielded all of my questions the 10 months leading up to the wedding; confirmed details with all of my vendors the week of the wedding; handled all of the little things - timelines, setting out escort cards, etc., but she also helped me keep a level head when things didn't go as planned and could have blown up. This is something that you just can't put a price on. She went above and beyond, way beyond, the expectations that I had for her. I would highly, highly recommend Katie - she is by far the best wedding vendor we worked with.

  Katie Kozlowski was the day-of-coordinator for my wedding on August 9th, 2008 and I was very grateful for all of her help!! Aside from being an integral part of the actual day of my wedding she was in constant communication with me for several months proceeding the big day. She recommended and contacted all of my vendors, helped make my programs, compiled a production schedule, picked up my cake and was always accessible to answer my many wedding-related questions.   We had a fantastic wedding planner, Katie Kozlowski, who has done more than day-of planning for us. She is exactly the type person you want to be your wedding planner: detailed-oriented, RESOURCEFUL, responsive, nice and polite but makes sure things are done the way they should be done (esp. when the bride can be a little particular at times), all around WONDERFUL.
  
  The record high flooding in Chicago happened on our wedding day. Yes, our venue flooded. With the generosity of our caterer who had their own venue and Katie's help, we were able to move venue, get everything setup, and had the best wedding ever! I didn't even break a sweat through all this all because I know I can trust Katie to get the job done. Katie was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process and very good with what she does: making sure your day is as perfect as it can be for you!

  Katie is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! I thought I would be able to handle everything on my own, but soon became overwhelmed with wedding bliss. My then fiance and I met with Katie and decided that Katie would be a huge asset for us and indeed she was! There were several tiny details and Katie knew the answers to and knew what to do. She had a ton of great recommendations and advice for brides! Katie was on top of everything and was a huge help to vendors were were familiar with Katie and her work! She is great and very easy to work with!!!
