Every bride deserves a Rachel on their wedding day! I was stressed about my wedding day logistics and managing all the vendors, but Bliss Events made our lives so easy. Words cannot adequately convey our appreciation to Rachel Welland for making my daughter’s wedding day a dream come true.
It was an absolute pleasure working Rachel. We hired her as a month-of coordinator, but she went far and above that title. She answered every question and request we had promptly, efficiently, and cheerfully. She made the process easy and fun. Because she took the time to get to know my daughter and her wishes, Rachel's vendor recommendations were outstanding. We were beyond thrilled every single person she recommended to us.
We had an unexpected death in the family the day before the wedding, which was obviously heartbreaking and difficult. As I was trying so hard to hold myself together, it was a comfort and a relief to know that I didn’t have to worry about anything wedding-related. I knew we could count on Rachel to make everything perfect, and she did.
I was also very impressed with Rachel's assistants on the day of the wedding. Not only were they capable and helpful, but they were also kind, cheerful, and fun.

Ashley was a delight to work with. My husband and I had a vision of what we wanted our Botanic Garden wedding to look like and Ashley was able to make it a reality. Korie at Bliss Makes Every Wedding Better
It was both our second weddings and we wanted it to be special and truly "us". A destination beach wedding at The Del Coronado calls for only the best in wedding planning even if it was a wedding for 60! Korie from day one was like our family. We touched base on our vision, what we wanted, and incorporating my teen children. Korie not only helped us choose some amazing vendors, but supplied some great ideas for activities on the Terrace for our day as well. We worried about nothing on our day and everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. Korie has little touches that are personal along the way you just don't find elsewhere. Korie and the Bliss team will be our top recommendation to anyone who asks. -

Bliss Events is amazing!!!!
Let me tell you -- Rachel and her team were incredible. Truly could not recommend them more highly. Planning a wedding is SO much work, and Rachel made it feel so manageable and in control. She recommended tons of vendors, made incredibly detailed timelines, reviewed our contracts, coordinated with our vendors, talked to us on the phone repeatedly, gave advice, etc.
On the wedding weekend (Rachel and her team helped us with both our welcome dinner and the wedding day itself), they really went above and beyond. From driving to my grandma's house to pick up items, to fixing our flower arrangements, to continuously reminding us to eat - we honestly felt like I was able to enjoy the day 100% without worrying about any logistics.
So, so grateful for having such an incredible team for our wedding! -

Bliss events manager Korie is the best. There is nothing negative that ever cones to mind with my while experience along with my wife's work with planning our wedding. Korie made us feel at home, she made sure Katie was well taken care of during the entire planning process. Multiple meetings and texts/emails all within our planned budget! She even goes out of her way to provide little things throughout the day. Best of all her vendors were the best of the best!!! We cannot wait to see our shots from Copper Collective, DJ jimmy grizzly played the best music, and robin the florist nailed our arrangements!

Ashley is an amazing wedding planner! She did a fantastic job pulling off my dream wedding in 4 months. She was also extremely helpful and supportive with navigating the stresses of wedding planning-from negotiating with the wedding venue to managing family dynamics smoothly to prioritizing with our budget. When we decided to increase the band size last minute, she navigated everything with the venue quickly to accomodate. All of her vendor recommendations were great! Moreover, we had a lot of extra traditional ceremonies as part of the day and a couple of performances that had to be worked in timing wise. Because of her expertise and unparalleled attention to detail, the wedding day went so smoothly despite all of the extra potential for hiccups with the complexity of our event! I really couldn't have asked for a better wedding day and Ashley and her team were a huge part of that! -

I've been meaning to write this review since my daughter's August wedding! I can't say enough great things about Rachel from Bliss Events. We hired her to help with the last month and day-of details and she was so incredibly organized, professional, calm, friendly and helpful! She has a wonderful reputation in the business and every time we told a vendor that we were working with Rachel we heard "you are in GREAT hands! " And that was completely true! Every vendor that she recommended to us was amazing and all contributed to making our event exactly what we had hoped for. Rachel kept us on task and moving forward in the last stages of planning without adding any extra stress. We worked with Korie from Bliss Events to plan our wedding at L'Auberge Del Mar. She provided full service planning since we were planning a wedding across the country. Korie is extremely detail oriented and her timelines and templates were very helpful during the planning process. She had close relationships with vendors and could quickly text them for fast responses whenever we had a question.
She was very experienced with the wedding venue and provided us with the vision of what would work for that specific location. The timeline was specifically tailored to fit the space.
Korie really shined during the wedding day with how she made our day as stress free as possible. Along with her team of assistants, Korie took care of every detail we thought of and more. She really knows how to keep the bride and groom focused on enjoying the day rather than worrying about the logistics. We really couldn't have done it without her! -

I truly cannot overstate how important hiring Rachel & Bliss Events was to the success of our wedding planning & the wedding itself. We engaged Rachel with the “Tying it all together” package and added a planning meeting at the beginning as well. Rachel was available throughout the entire planning process to answer our questions and always had great insight to share. Once we got down to the wire, she was critical in finalizing conversations and details with our other vendors. At the rehearsal, she was critical in providing advice to our wedding party on timing, common mistakes etc. The day of the wedding, she ensured that everything went smoothly, reminded us of key moments, and was there for everything I needed. During the reception, Rachel asked if I wanted to change into my ceremony sneakers. I told her I didn’t think I could because I forgot to give her socks with the sneakers and she got me socks so I could dance my heart out!!!!!! It’s the little things that make all the difference.
Most critically, we assembled our core vendor team (Photo / Video, DJ, Officiant) based on Rachel’s referrals and recommendations and the quality of this group speaks louder than any words I could share. You always hear from people that “things will go wrong, you just roll with it”. The day & night of our wedding NOTHING that was plausibly in our control or the control of our vendors went wrong. Seriously, nothing. The night was BEYOND perfect and more than I ever dreamed of. This is entirely because of Rachel and the stellar team she put together. One of my favorite parts of the night was just watching the amazing time all of our friends and family were having and this is ALL a credit to Rachel and her team! Working with Rachel & Bliss Events is the best choice you can make wedding planning! -

WOW! Ashley from Bliss Events is truly amazing!!! Right away from the first interview call with Ashley I instantly felt comfortable and confident that our wedding day would go so smoothly - and sure enough it did! Ashley was super responsive, gave us multiple vendor recommendations within our budget, and ultimately allowed us to truly enjoy our wedding day as she was the one running around working with all the vendors behind the scenes!
I don’t know what I would have done or imagine how stressed I would have been especially the month leading up to the wedding without Ashley! We had a sit down meeting to go over every single detail. She also was the one to reach out to each vendor and finalize the timeline! We just had to approve it! That was a huge relief and I had every bit of confidence that Ashley was going to make everything seamless.

Rachel has been absolutely phenomenal to work with in every way. When we first got engaged we thought we were going to plan our wedding ourselves. We ended up going with the tying it all together package. Looking back for the type of wedding we wanted, we are so glad we had Rachel’s help as our seamless and perfect wedding day could not have occurred without her.
In the months before Rachel officially took over, she assisted in the communications with our venue’s representatives, provided us with invaluable vendor recommendations, attended our menu tasting to ensure all selections and questions were addressed and brought to our venue’s chef, and was able to answer any pressing questions we happened to have. All of this showed to us how easy to work with and how detail oriented Rachel was. More importantly, our interactions showed how much of an amazing person she is.
When our planned date for Rachel to take over operations began we got to see her in action. Rachel coordinated the logistical planning with our various vendors, helped us manage a minor contract dispute with another vendor, sent us detailed check lists of things we needed to have completed with updates, reminders if we were behind schedule on anything, itineraries for us and our families, timing and musical coordination for the events of the wedding, and was very communicative throughout the entire process for all parties who were to be involved in the wedding. All of this thoroughly put our minds at ease and helped reduce our stress since dealing with family and friends for a wedding is already stressful enough as it is.
The day of the wedding was no different from our excellent experience with Rachel we had thus far. She and her team were there to ensure everything was executed smoothly even when we deviated from the plan. On one occasion Rachel searched the grounds to bring us back to our guests when we had been taking extra pictures with our photographer during cocktail hour. She also made sure that I (the groom) did not miss my que in a song for the mother/son dance. We firmly believe that our wedding would not have gone as perfect as it did without the organization and hard work from Rachel. We have nothing but praise for all she did for us and would eagerly recommend her to anyone who is planning a wedding, whether they think they need a coordinator or not. My now wife and I had always dreamed of getting married at the Hotel Del. We are both extremely busy business owners and Korie came highly recommended by our contact at the Del. I was skeptical at first to have a wedding planner but it was required by the hotel and we had ambition plans for the event with little available time to spend planning. Throughout the process, Korie kept us on track, had great vendor referrals, and is overall an extremely organized and alpha personality--which is what we needed. There were times we disagreed but Korie is a master at disagreeing without being disagreeable. In addition, whenever there was a problem, she found a solution. The day of the event went off flawlessly. The run up to the event was actually low stress unlike many horror stories you hear about weddings. Korie worked tirelessly behind the scenes and knew what to do (or what to tell us what to do) at exactly the right moments. Her presence was felt but not at all a distraction. Even though we did not hire her for our afterparty, she stuck around to see through the grand entrance and coordinate the vendors we had setup. She embodies the definition of a dedicated professional and I would recommend her without hesitation to any friend or loved one planning a wedding or event in the San Diego area. We initially reached out to Bliss Events because they were a preferred / recommended vendor of our venue. When we spoke with Rachel, it was clear that she is very knowledgeable with wedding planning / coordination and is also super passionate about supporting couples with navigating such a big event. Going in, we were especially nervous because this was the first true wedding in either of our families, so we felt a bit over our heads with everything that needed to be done, especially day of. Even in our initial phone call, she provided her perspective on the vendors we had already selected up until that point (and was familiar with almost all of them), as well as helpful tips + guidance on how to identify the others we were still in search of. We even ended up going with one of the vendors she recommended to us! In the end, we felt she was more than equipped and truly cared to help bring our wedding vision to life. This ended up being absolutely correct - Rachel was extremely communicative and responsive to all of our needs and questions (we had many, given our lack of familiarity with the wedding industry!) and overall was a joy to work with! She was organized, professional, and super helpful throughout the whole process, especially when we had to navigate some difficult situations and last minute changes. We hired Ashley as our 6-week-out coordinator to take us to the finish line of wedding planning and it was worth every penny. Ashley is so knowledgeable and had experience working with our venue and ALL of our vendors previously. 6 weeks before, we passed off all of our vendor contracts and details we had figured out so far and Ashley took it from there. She was so organized and communicative (with a lightning fast response time) and gave me and my fiancee a clear checklist to keep us on track leading up to the big day.
In addition to coordinating all of the vendors, Ashley even sent out a details email to our whole wedding party which gave them all the info they needed for the day.
The day of the wedding she led a perfect ceremony, took care of displaying all of my personal details and decor (and getting it returned at the end of the night), and kept everything running smoothly and on-time.
My family complimented me on being a "chill bride" but thats only because I had Ashley behind me, taking care of the details and alleviating my stress. I would definitely recommend working with Ashley on your wedding! -

Working with Korie and her team at Bliss was an exceptional experience from start to finish. My husband and I had 0 clue what we were doing, and Korie helped us feel prepared and relieved of stress the entire year leading up to our big day.
From answering our emails and texts immediately with answers to our questions, from sending us information, assignments, instructions, ways to stay organized on track, inspiration, must-haves + nice-to-haves, helping us navigate contracts with our vendors, affordable ideas to add more detail on the day of, the way she went above and beyond with some of the decor she had on hand and the candles she let us rent, running out for last minute drink ingredients on the day of, and so much more.
On the actual wedding day itself, we didn't have to think about a single logistic or problem. Korie and her team were ON IT. Friends and family had even commented on how amazing Korie was during our rehearsal. She kept us all on track, kept us organized, and left room for excitement and celebration.
She not only made us feel like we were taken care of and in good hands, but she made us feel cared for. She genuinely wants the best for you and your family on your wedding day and the days leading up. I would recommend her a thousand times, and we are forever grateful for her excellence and care.

Ashley from Bliss Events made our wedding day the most special day of our lives that we will cherish forever. I am someone that gets overwhelmed easily and Ashley kept me sane. Ashley knew exactly how to approach each step of the planning process. She is extremely organized and trustworthy. Ashley transformed our vision to life and went above and beyond with making sure every detail was perfect. She guided us through many options and was always so understanding, flexible and kind. Right when we hired her she created a very detailed and incredibly helpful timeline. She also turned my chaotic "vision board" into a simplified layout that she was able to send to the florists, venue coordinator etc. Throughout the year of planning the wedding, she was very responsive to emails, and helped us understand the wedding venue's contract. We always felt like we were in great hands and that she was taking care of everything for us. Her and her team did such a great job during the day of the wedding, all of our guests kept complimenting how it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Lastly, all of the vendors we chose went above and beyond for us because of Ashley's fantastic relationships with them. Ashley and her assistants were amazing in putting together our dream wedding. If someone or anything was out of place she fixed it in a moment. I've been to some weddings where the wedding planner can be very abrasive and sometimes even rude. Ashley somehow kept everyone in check including catering, photographers, the DJ, the guests, the wedding party etc, all while having the most kind and positive energy. She was able to keep the wedding going without a hitch while smiling and having fun. Ashley's energy rubbed off on the guests, myself, and the wedding party. The wedding moved so smoothly and everything was timed perfectly. The assistants were also fabulous and brought fun energy while making sure everything got done in a timely fashion. Ashley and her team were so on top of everything to the point where I basically just showed up to the wedding and everything was taken care of. I had an incredible experience working with Rachel for coordination of my wedding. When I was searching for a wedding coordinator, I wanted to make sure they had plenty of experience and were knowledgeable about the wedding industry since I had very little knowledge to begin with like most people. I interviewed 5 wedding coordinators and knew immediately within the first few minutes; Rachel would be easy to work with and would offer advice/tips throughout the whole process even though I only requested the month of coordination package. During the consultation she asked me so many questions, which brought up things I hadn’t thought of. She also provided advice for asking a friend to officiate for the very first time during the free consultation. She was very responsive throughout the entire process and has a very professional demeanor.
The month of the wedding she was SO organized. We had a lengthy appointment to review the vendor contracts in detail, then she communicated the necessary changes to each vendor prior to the wedding, which ultimately ended up saving me some money! She would color code all her documents and timelines so I could keep track of changes easily. I did not have to communicate with any of my vendors the month of the wedding and could refer them to Rachel at any time. This alleviated A LOT of stress leading up to the wedding.
The weekend of the wedding she was calm and collected which helped everyone including the wedding party, my family, and myself enjoy their time and soak in the experience. We were always ahead of schedule per the timeline she created so we could enjoy the day of wedding as much as possible. I received so many compliments from family members and friends at the wedding stating how wonderful a job Rachel did during the wedding and couldn’t agree more. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with Rachel for any of her wedding coordination services if you are looking for an organized, professional, and very knowledgeable coordinator for your wedding! -

If you’re planning an event, use Bliss Events!! They are the absolute best!!
From the first meeting, we were so impressed with Rachel’s organization, the kinds of questions she asked (which made us feel so seen!), and her kindness!
Rachel really heard what we wanted from our wedding (unorthodox as some of the ideas may have been haha) and did such an incredible job pairing us with vendors! All of the vendors were not only awesome to work with but did such a great job! It was a truly amazing day for us and her expertise and vision allowed us to have a wedding that truly surpassed our dreams!!
I will look back fondly on the planning process. The timeline of wedding planning—from getting the big vendors like catering, florals, photography, and rentals to the details like place settings and reminding us to start looking for parent gifts—worked so well! We cannot thank Rachel enough for all of the hard work that she put into our wedding organization, for reminding us about tasks when we got really busy at work, and for keeping us on track.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! I would not change a single thing! From the very beginning of the day through to the very end, Rachel made us all feel so relaxed and like everything was taken care of. All I, as the bride, had to do was get ready and remember to eat and hydrate before. And during the actual wedding, I didn’t have to stress about a thing! I could just revel in the feeling of being married and enjoy time with my friends and family in an absolutely magical setting!

If you are on the fence about getting a coordinator please listen and use Bliss Events. As a typical "we can handle it" male, I didn't really see the point of getting a coordinator. I thought it wasn't necessary but I can say this was the best decision/money spent on our wedding. Korie did an amazing job and relieved so much stress in the planning process and the day of the event. I didn't have to worry about anything because of the phenomenal job from Korie. We had monthly calls the year of the event and had a master excel sheet that had everything single detail we needed for a flawless event. The organization is world class and she is a master in the wedding planning field. We got married last week at Kona Kai and it was the perfect day thanks to Korie. Rachel from Bliss Events is the most thorough, detailed, and thoughtful planner. She made my wedding at Estancia go flawlessly! She referred me to incredible vendors and completely ran the show leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day. She does not overlook ANY detail and takes notes on everything. She is so responsive and has amazing ideas and input on how to create an immaculate wedding. As soon as my family met Rachel at the ceremony rehearsal, they were all beyond impressed with her kindness, assertiveness, and level of detail. She already knew everyone's names and had everything so organized, even distributed handouts of the wedding weekend timeline to 13 family members and highlighted the parts that pertained to them. She confirmed every vendor, their arrival time, and made it so I did not have to lift a finger on my wedding day. We worked with Rachel from Bliss Events and had the best experience. Bliss Events has many packages with different levels of involvement to work with what you're looking for. We went with month of coordinator but never felt restricted in our communication with her. We got married on 06/17/22 and our guests are still raving about how seamless, fun and carefree our wedding was and it was all possible because we had Rachel as our coordinator. We are so glad we found her through our preferred vendor list at our wedding venue, San Diego Botanic Garden.
We had the pleasure of having Rachel as a month-of coordinator, along with assisting us with vendor contracts and hotel blocking. Even though we had her as a month-of coordinator she was responsive and helped us during the year leading up to the wedding if we had any questions. It was amazing working with Rachel she has a vast knowledge of the industry and we truly felt taken care of. She even helped us with other events during our wedding weekend. To top it off we live in Northern California which added another layer of difficulty but Rachel was able to make everything work.
On the day of the wedding, everything went flawlessly and according to the schedule Rachel created. Not only was Rachel handling all the vendors but even helped me(Alina) calm my nerves before I walked down the aisle. At the end of the night, everything was packed up and handled, and we were able to leave our wedding in pure newlywed bliss!

Best coordinator!
I’m really sad that my husband and I didnt get a picture with Korie. She has been our coordinator since Summer 2020. We didn’t meet in person until April 2022! When I first started the planning process, I was all over the place and I didn’t have a vision board of what I wanted. And then the pandemic hit and everything was on hold. The pandemic gave me time to re-organize my ideas and decide exactly how I wanted my wedding to look like. Plus, it gave me the chance to find the PERFECT venue, Alila Marea Encinitas. I had a different venue booked for my initial wedding date for 2021. I was over the initial venue and didn’t want to get married there anymore. There was some ambiguity in the contract and Korie was able to help me terminate our contract and book Alila Marea.
Korie is very organized, knowledgeable, punctual and she made sure I was always on track. After each phone/zoom session, I always felt motivated to get things done. My husband and I have very busy schedules and she was very accommodating with our meeting times. I booked my second venue in October 2021 and we planned my wedding in 7.5 months.
Korie had sent us a very detailed timeline and there was very little room for delays. And I loved that! She is all about presentation. I didn’t have the guts to tell my officiant (my brother-in-law) to not use his iPad. I didn’t even have to tell Korie and she told him no. Korie was very thorough during our rehearsal. She made sure EVERYONE understood their roles. Even on the day of our ceremony, I could see Korie at the end of the aisle giving my husband and I cues on when to pause to kiss, kiss again and then dip. She’s on top of it! No room for errors! I love it. My husband and I are in healthcare and there is absolutely no room for mistakes, so we get it. Korie will give you suggestions on ways to cut costs and save on time. She really does look out for you.
Most of my family were driving down from LA and OC. My wedding started 15 minutes later because there was an accident on the freeway and more than ½ the guests were not there. Other than that, I know my wedding would have started at exactly 4pm. We were in line and ready to walk down the aisle at 345pm. All of Korie’s spreadsheets were easy to navigate and it helped me keep my tasks and guests organized. I think I would have been a BRIDEZILLA if it wasn’t for Korie’s support and organizational skills. She would take care of most communications with our vendors and just CC’d me in them. If I had a question about something, she would immediately text the vendor and I would get an answer asap.
Korie made sure that I would have ZERO stress on my wedding day; and I did for the most part. The brief moment of stress that occurred was not due to Korie or her team of Alila Marea. The wedding was perfect and our guests had such a wonderful time. Everyone said our wedding was the perfect way to come out of the pandemic/isolation. I guess it was worth the wait! All but one of the vendors that Korie recommended were great. BE Studios, DJ Grizzley, Aw Snap Photos, UCSD Lion Dancers, VG Donuts & Bakery, San Diego Paella were all very easy to communicate with, punctual and none of the listed vendors gave me any problems. Korie even made sure we had red envelopes ready for the Lion dance!
My florist/designer had made a mess and didn’t bring enough staffing. Korie and her assistants rolled up their sleeves and with no complaints helped out the florist. They moved and washed all the Charger plates. They helped put together the place cards on the escort display wall. This was the responsibility of the design team. Korie and her assistants along with the entire hotel staff cleaned up the mess made by the florist. If Korie wasn’t ON-TOP of it, I think I would have had several meltdowns. I only had one brief meltdown and it was out of my or Korie’s control. My florist didn’t finish the centerpieces and had left!. I was mortified with what I saw and Korie calmed me down. She tried her best to reach the florist, but the florist/designer was nowhere to be found. Even though my wedding is over, Korie is still working with me to settle a few items with that vendor.
I hope I can work with Korie and her team in the near future. Whether it’s a baby shower or anniversary, I will definitely reach out to Korie. Thank you Kore and Bliss Events! Thank you for such a beautiful, memorable, fun and organized wedding! -

Korie from Bliss Events made my wedding a piece of cake! My husband and I are super busy people. I had an exact idea of how I wanted the wedding to be and Korie just made it happen. There was zero stress before the wedding and on the wedding day from her side. We honestly planned everything early on and it felt like hardly planning at the end. Ashley has the most wonderful personality for this critical role. She is warm, kind-hearted, calming, approachable, super responsive to any inquiry you have throughout the planning process and puts you at ease every step of the way. She's organized, keeps your timeline on track and is a joy to work with. Details that you may not think about or overlook - she's on it. Even if you are a laid back bride, everyone gets wedding planning stress at some point and I couldn't imagine a better right hand gal to guide us through it all.

I honestly am tearing up writing this review because I am overwhelmed with how truly amazing Ashley was as a wedding planner. I will start by saying she is one of the kindest humans you will ever meet - with every interaction I had with her I felt how genuine and real she was, and I truly appreciated that about her.
Along with being an amazing human here is why I would hire her in every lifetime to be the person by my side through the wedding planning process.
Knowledgeable- any questions I had for Ashley she knew exactly how to answer them. If there was something I envisioned for our wedding day she knew what vendor the perfect fit would be. She has an outstanding preferred vendor list but she also knows so many vendors not on her list so she can give you solid, researched advice on why or why not to choose someone. She is also great at matching personalities and great at pairing vendors together to make sure your day goes exactly how you want it.
Organized - She and her team are incredibly organized from the moment you hire them. Ashley has a very laid out plan and timeline and tells you EXACTLY what you need to do and when to do it so you feel completely at ease with the process. She uses a program called Aisle Planner and it houses everything you need in there, from your guests names and addresses, to seating charts, to checklists. Its super user friendly and makes the planning process incredibly smooth.
Detail Oriented - Along with being extremely organized Ashley is very detail oriented she will listen to what is important to you down to the smallest item and makes sure that is incorporated in your day exactly how you hoped it would be.
Communication - Ashley is impeccable with communication - I highly recommend getting unlimited texting and emailing with her. She is quick to respond and she always seems to have the answers. She is also amazing at calming you during those "stressful times" which made me feel so much more at ease.
Honest - Ashley is extremely honest. As mentioned before she is extremely sweet but she is also realistic, if you give her a budget she will not only be honest about how you are tracking on your budget but she will tell you if something is "a bit over the top" and suggest other items that might work in place.
Team captain - This would be the best way to describe Ashley the day of your wedding - She leads "all the players" to victory. She is in constant contact with your vendors and wedding party before the wedding day to make sure everyone knows what is going on and what to expect. She is on top of the timeline the day of to make sure everything is running smoothly. And although she keeps you on timeline she also knows exactly how to move things around so your day doesn't skip a beat. Example: My mom was an hour late for pictures and video. Ashley shifted the schedule so that we could still capture all the photos/videos we wanted while still making us on time for the ceremony.
I could go on and on about Ashley - I cannot rave more about her skills, attention to detail, knowledge, personality and overall demeanor. I would be happy to personally talk to anyone about our experience with Ashley and how she made our day PERFECT! I would highly recommend her and her team to anyone. I will take it a step further and say that I doubt you will meet another wedding planner who cares more about what she does or who will help you plan your day as if it was her own. She is INCREDIBLE ON EVERY LEVEL! -

Best decision we made!
We got married on 10/30/21 and it honestly could not have been any more perfect. Korie was our coordinator and she exceeded our expectations. We had her as a month of coordinator but she was always available throughout the year of planning with great tips and referrals. Along with Korie, her assistants on the wedding day were also lovely. Covid bride here! Putting together a wedding is no small feat. Doing so in the middle of a pandemic was not what I signed up for. After our all inclusive wedding venue cancelled our wedding FOUR months before the big day, I had enough and was ready to throw in the towel. We had already been postponed and had vendors cancel on us too, so I immediately recognized the need for help! I was sinking fast and could no longer do this alone.
After being told our wedding was cancelled, and having a good cry in my teammate’s classroom next door, I knew what I had to do. And I had to act fast. Knowing Rachel, I made a call to set up a meeting with Bliss Events before I even called my fiancé! By the next day, Rachel had already spoken with me, set me up with her coordinator, Korie, and had a Zoom call with Korie. After that day, I knew all would be well because I had Bliss Events in our corner.
Not only was Korie our amazing coordinator, this kind soul might as well have been my dang therapist too. She got to work immediately helping us find a new venue. She was with us for all of the big meetings and discussions, making sure we did what was best for us as a couple. Her extensive knowledge in the field helped us make every tiny decision, especially when so much money was on the line. From deciding on desserts, to exactly how many glasses to rent for specialty cocktails, she was there. From awkward conversations with vendors to renting out her own charger plates, she was there.
As we got closer to the wedding, my anxiety was at an all-time high. But my meetings with Korie always eased my stress. This angel woman literally thinks of EVERYTHING. Her detailed timeline was the work of the gods. It put us all at ease knowing that we’d be able to enjoy our time and not be stressed during the wedding weekend. Korie made sure any possible problem was addressed beforehand too.
Korie and her team truly worked their magic on the big day. Everything was seamless and in my eyes, PERFECT. At the end of the day, that is all that really matters. My husband and I were showered with such love and sincerity on the most beautiful day. Our parents and guests were in awe of the day and its beauty. We have Korie and Bliss Events to thank for that.
As a teacher, I am not made of money. Going with a planner was something I thought long and hard about. I’m organized, creative, and excited to get married! Of course I could plan my wedding, right? I certainly could have, but I would not have enjoyed one second of it. Making the investment in Korie was worth every penny because I was actually able to savor and enjoy the process. Her professionalism was refreshing and her personality was contagious. Korie is family for life! I’m so thankful for Korie, Rachel, and the Bliss Events team for getting this bride through. it. all. Have you ever heard anyone say that they were never stressed by wedding planning? Well now you have because I NEVER stressed about wedding planning and I have Korie Younger at Bliss Events to thank for it. She did NOT have an easy job either. We planned to invite 400 people for a 2 day wedding extravaganza and all we knew going in was we wanted the wedding day to be at Hotel del Coronado and the day after to be on a mega yacht with musical and comedic performances and art exhibits by our friends and family. And it had to have both traditional and unique elements. We asked Korie if she was sure she wanted to work with us and our big undertaking and she was game! Hallelujah!
Working with Korie is like asking your very best friend to plan your wedding. She is so fun that you actually want to sit down for an hour or more to plan. She is one of those genetically blessed people who has high emotional intelligence and high executive intelligence. In other words, she knows how to connect with people, get on their page, and get sh*t done! I actually wished at one point that she could also be the general contractor for my home remodel because she is a boss.
Korie also has amazingly creative ideas which was so appreciated. For example, we were the first people at Hotel Del to have a big white bouncy castle at our reception because Korie recommended it as a unique experience for our guests. Check out the photo below. It was a huge hit with our guests. She also suggested we take photos on top of Hotel Del and wave to our unsuspecting guests during cocktail hour on Windsor Lawn. Epic experience!
We had many creative ideas ourselves and Korie always leaned into the idea rather than shot it down. She always figured out how to make something happen, and then it was up to us to decide if we wanted to do it or not. If you want to know what it would take to get your favorite musical artist to play your wedding, she can find out. If you want a mega yacht, she will find you a mega yacht even if it has sail down from Newport Beach. On a related note, Korie seems to know every wonderful vendor in San Diego. She referred us to every vendor or went out and found someone who could execute each one of our ideas. Hotel Del loves her and I felt like they rolled out the red carpet for us because she was our planner. It was the same with Hornblower who ultimately provided our yacht Endless Dreams.
Korie can handle any obstacle with grace and a smile. We began wedding planning in April 2020 with the great unknown of Covid 19 hanging over our heads. She helped us postpone everything while vaccines were being developed and we didn't have to pay any penalties to any vendor or venue. She helped us pick a new date and reached out to each of our vendors and performers to ensure they could make it. Korie was the first person we told that we decided to have a baby in the meantime! She was also one of the first people we told when two of our family members unexpectedly passed away before the wedding. Korie's support and friendship has meant the world to us and we are so lucky to count her as one of our friends. We will definitely hire Bliss Events for our next big event. -

I get emotional even writing this review because our wedding planner, Paige- has turned into family and we are so thankful for all the heart and sweat she put into throwing our beautiful wedding in 3 short months. We had rescheduled our wedding twice due to COVID and had our dream wedding planned for Banff, AB and come June 2021 when the borders still were not open we had to cancel the wedding and unfortunately lost a lot of money. We shifted to San Diego and threw a wedding in our parents backyard. I got Paige's info from a referral that had worked with her in events in the past. THANK GOD- the second I explained everything to her, within seconds she made me feel comfortable and confident that she would pull it all together. I was so bummed about my canada wedding getting cancelled but she seemed to always find a way to make planning in San Diego even more exciting and better. She literally SAVED our wedding, and executed everything perfectly. She worked and managed all of our vendors and even fought hard for discounted pricing when I wasn't around- that was really cool especially because she knew we lost money with the canada wedding. She treated us like VIP but to be honest she 100% treats everyone like this. She treats her clients like family, and makes all of her interactions light hearted and fun even when family dynamics get difficult - yes she acted as a therapist MANY times and that is not in her job title. Our wedding was a dream come true and I owe a lot of it to Paige for understanding us, our personalities and things that were important to us. I will forever recommend her name to anyone throwing a party/ wedding in Southern CA, she is very professional and has this clear sense of interacting with all personality types- she blew us away. -

Ashley with Bliss Events was a dream to work with! She is organized and accessible, with prompt responses to any of my questions. She had a clear sense of my vision for the wedding, and made great suggestions along the way to help it come together. She gave me a short list of recommendations for each vendor. After extensive research on my own, it turned out that my top contenders for vendors were on the list she had given me! I trusted her judgement on any decision.
My husband and I were one month from our big day when COVID caused the world to shut down, and Ashley rescheduled our entire vendor team TWICE without me having to be involved in the communications and logistics. Ashley handled this crisis beautifully, and I can’t begin to articulate how much this meant to us in the midst of the disappointment of canceling our event.
On our big day, Ashley was professional and I felt confident that she would handle any issue that might arise. Our wedding day was perfect, filled with love and happy memories. If anything went wrong, I certainly didn’t hear about it - and I attribute this to Ashley and her assistants!

Everything during our wedding was flawless- and I will admit that I am a very casual and laid back bride. I don't do time constraints well (which I understand is frustrating for some!) but Rachel was great at making sure I was where I needed to be and when in order to keep pace with our set timeline. I cannot say enough amazing things about Bliss Events and our coordinator Korie Younger. She blew me away with her amazing knowledge of the industry and her wonderful personality. Korie was such a huge help to me in tying everything together and really watched out for us and helped us make decisions. Korie had excellent communication and was always very responsive and vocal about her availability with other events, etc. She was so helpful in planning our layout and decor placement and showed me the reasons why she suggested certain placements. She was very clear and easy to follow, and I'm so glad we listened to her.
Korie exceeded any and all expectations! She even helped me surprise my *husband* with a second dress and made it a complete surprise! She was flawless and was always right there helping me every step of the way. Her amazing assistant did such an incredible job setting up all the decor for our reception. Everything was exactly where I wanted it and exactly how I wanted it. I really had the dream team and they made my day so special.
Not only am I incredibly grateful to have had Korie as our coordinator, but I know if I were to run into her on the street we would grab a drink and reminisce over that special day. She is truly a bright light in the industry and I am forever grateful to her for helping make our big day as magical as it was. Korie is absolutely amazing and did everything and more to make my husband and I's dream wedding come true!!! My husband and I were set to host our 200 person wedding on April 18, 2020, however due to COVID we made the decision to postpone the event with family and friends to later that summer. Korie was so compassionate and understanding, and truly helped us navigate a situation none of us have ever experienced. She worked with all of our vendors to have them graciously change our contracts to the new dates. Then, unfortunately by the summertime of 2020, COVID still prevented us from hosting the large gathering we were dreaming of, so we postponed the event once again to Spring 2021, in which Korie stepped in to ensure all of the vendors would honor our contracts with the new date. During the months leading up to the wedding, we had to cut our guest list down to less than 40 people and I was feeling so defeated, thinking that I would never get the day I was dreaming of to marry the love of my life. Korie was amazing during that time, keeping our dreams alive, and pushed the venue to ensure we could still have the ceremony, dinner, champagne toasts, first dances, wedding cake cutting with our family and close friends, all within the guidelines. Although the wedding looked different that we originally planned, I could honestly say it was better than that plan due to Korie's amazing talents!!! The day would not have happened without her!! -

We thought we would have to postpone, but with Ashley's guidance we were able to figure out how to switch to an intimate outdoor wedding. The month of the wedding she was so helpful and organized, no detail was left out.
Our wedding day was flawless thanks to Ashley and her assistants, they went above and beyond. We were even running ahead of schedule and she was able to make quick timeline changes so we were able to enjoy most of cocktail hour with our guests. We were able to enjoy every minute of our wedding and not have to worry about a thing. Thank you Ashley and Bliss Events for helping make our day so perfect! -

Dream come true
Stop your search, you found the one! If you want your wedding day to feel like ***actual Bliss***, don't go to anyone else. Korie is a SUPERHERO. I called her only a month and a half (!!!) before our wedding date with nothing but a backyard and an officiant secured. She actually pulled off every other detail to our 20-person backyard wedding. I was clueless about weddings and I'm very type B. I neeeeeeeeded Korie's organization, task-execution, and vast knowledge about vendors, and wedding details. I could cry thinking about how she is seriously the reason our day was so beautiful and ran so smoothly. Special shout out: she also did our flowers and they were absolutely stunning, she completely blew me away with the arrangements. I wish I could re-live the day over and over, thank you Korie and Bliss Events!!! -

Best Wedding Coordinator Experience!
I am the youngest of 3 girls so this is the third wedding my family has planned. Bliss Events has been our favorite wedding coordinating company we have worked with!
Ashley was my month of coordinator. She was calm and friendly (which is great for any bride). She was quick to respond to emails and texts and sent me reminders and recommendations when needed. On the day of, everything was set up as planned and the whole day ran smoothly! She checked in with me (the bride) often to make sure everything I needed was taken care of. -

Korie is the BEST wedding planner on the planet and literally saved my wedding!! My original wedding date was postponed due to Covid, and then my original wedding planner had to back out just a month before the actual (rescheduled) wedding. As stressful as all of that was for me as the bride (who also lives out of state), Korie came to my rescue and alleviated any and all stress immediately after our very first conversation! She took over planning my wedding flawlessly and seamlessly, doing more for me and my wedding in one month than I could have ever imagined or dreamed of! She made it her own, while still executing on the original visions I had planned, bringing so many more amazing creative ideas to the table. Her communication and responsiveness was the greatest bar none. She is literally super woman and I don't know how she does it!! The fact that I could shoot her a text or phone call any day/time without having to schedule out all communication in advance was amazing and so appreciated. Being out of state, she let us ship things to her house where she stored them for us until the wedding - literal life saver!! She thought of every little detail and kept us so incredibly organized while also being mindful of our budget.
Everything Korie did was extraordinary!! She went above and beyond to make the wedding of my dreams a reality! Korie saved everything about my wedding, especially the band!! If it weren't for Korie, I would not have been able to have a band play at my wedding reception and that was my top highlight for sure!! (Shout out to Encore as well!) Korie did everything in her power to help me and provide solutions during our short time together, navigating planning a 100-person wedding in less than a month - during a global pandemic might I add - SAFELY AND FLAWLESSLY!!!
She had the entire day so perfectly planned out that I never even felt nervous or stressed about anything. She made the day so seamless and I couldn't ask for anything better. I will never forget bringing Korie out on the dance floor with me to dance together to the last song the band played - a highlight of my night by far and couldn't have imagined the day without her!!
I truly cannot speak highly enough of Bliss Events and especially Korie. I am completely serious when I say that Korie saved my wedding. 2020 has been a crazy year and I've especially had some crazy things happen throughout my wedding planning process, but having Korie take over planning my wedding in just one month was truly the best thing that could have happened and I feel so blessed to have been able to work with someone as incredibly talented, kind and amazing as Korie! She is an absolute pro!! I've always been a believer that everything happens for a reason, but I've never felt that way more than after my wedding! It was absolutely perfect in every way and my husband and I were both so incredibly happy! Korie was a true life saver and someone who I will now call a friend for the rest of my life! If you are getting married in San Diego, you would be crazy not to hire Korie with Bliss Events as your wedding planner! :) 5+++++ stars!!

Korie Younger is the absolute best wedding planner and just an amazing person too! As the mother of the bride planning a wedding during Covid that had to be postponed, Korie jumped in for us in the middle and helped us create the most perfect , beautiful wedding that was exactly what my daughter and her husband dreamed of. She made my life so easy, especially because it was a destination wedding. She thought of everything and helped with shipping and running errands for us and saved me so much time and stress- I think she gave me back 10 years to my life:) She worked so well with all of the vendors, has great vendors and contacts who do beautiful work for great prices, and she is a total go getter-efficient, organized , professional yet so sweet, kind and fun! She thought of everything, helped us make wise cost effective decisions that kept all of our guests safe and we even came in under budget. She got Lindsay’s vision and beautifully brought it to life. She was always there for us, responding quickly to texts, emails and phone calls and offered to help with the events before the wedding too. By the way, she is an expert floral designer and did beautiful arrangements for the bridal luncheon and welcome dinner under our budget. Best of all, Korie became our friend and on the day of the wedding was always a step ahead of us doing everything to make the day perfect and keep Lindsay stress free and happy! Korie became a dear friend and we miss her! I will fly her to Dallas to plan our next event! -

It was clear within minutes of talking to Rachel Welland, the owner and coordinator of Bliss Events, that her organization would guarantee our wedding day would flow effortlessly and that every detail would be handled with professional care. We hired Rachel to be our day-of coordinator, and she was so attentive and responsive to any and all questions we had regarding items and preferences for the event, and continually touched base to ensure we were meeting our timeline goals. The fact that Bliss Events has worked at great length with many locations across San Diego was extremely helpful because Rachel knew how each business operated on the wedding day, and was able to coordinate with each vendor to make sure everything came together smoothly.
On the wedding day, Rachel and her team’s attention to detail allowed every stage of the experience to go according to plan and her ability to coordinate multiple groups allowed everyone to understand their role and where they needed to be at the right time. At each interval throughout the night, she was there for us, whether it was photoshoots, cake cutting, or speeches. Her positive and enthusiastic attitude made our wedding the most perfect day ever and we cannot thank her enough for all her hard work!! -

Professional, talented, capable, and easy to work with. Ashley was a huge help to us planning our wedding in San Diego, especially with us being new to the area. She was incredibly responsive to all of our (many!) calls, emails, and texts which we so greatly appreciated. She was able to help us maintain the budget, suggest fabulous vendors, stay flexible (and patient!!) and our big day went off without a hitch. We heard about Bliss Events through my wife’s friend at work, Laura. She had worked with Ashely for her wedding and had nothing but good things to say. Knowing how particular we are about organization and communication, Laura thought Ashely would be a perfect fit for me and my wife—and she was right.
My wife and I were sold after our initial meeting with Ashely. It was obvious she had a lot of experience and it showed in how well prepared and organized she was. You could tell that she had done this more than just a couple of times. More importantly, we felt that she was genuine and not just trying to sell us a product. That she really wanted our wedding day to be special.
Ashely kept me and my wife on track with timelines and checklists. She was easily accessible whether it was through phone, text, or email. Ashely was so helpful with assisting us in selecting reliable and quality vendors like the limo service and photo booth. She brought up really good questions and provided recommendations that helped guide us through the food tasting. And she was able to avert a potential crisis on the wedding day.
The cocktail hour was scheduled to be outdoors, but it had been drizzling throughout the day. Ashely was able to coordinate all the vendors to re-setup everything indoors and it was flawless. No one could tell. And the wedding day continued on without a hitch.
Ashely is a true pro and we couldn’t be happier that she was part of our wedding. She’s amazing and we highly recommend her and Bliss Events! -
