Booking with Bliss Bridal was extremely easy (you can do it online with an effortless calendar booking) or call them. When you get to the store, you will be greeted with big smiles and more than enough excitement for you and your big day/moment! Bliss Bridal puts the bride and her guests first, the entire time. It is clean and has more than enough space for you to have your own private showing area. I am not one to enjoy dresses or do something like this, however, I was comfortable the ENTIRE TIME and ended up finding my dress. A huge special thanks to Amy for being so patient, kind, and for treating me like a family member as soon as I walked in the door. Amy was a big part of why I felt so comfortable and why I was able to find my dream dress! Amy listened to my feedback, my likes/dislikes, and made changes instantly. Feeling heard and having Amy around made me feel confident no matter what I tried on, and she was extremely knowledgeable about available dresses, tailoring options, and more! Thank you, Amy & Bliss Bridal! -

I am from the town this shop is located and the recent facility upgrade has made it even more perfect. Everyone was kind and made it easy to pick a dress. We also used their girls for alterations and everything was great! Highly recommend. -

I absolutely loved my experience with Bliss Bridal!! As a plus size bride there was a level of dread when it came to wedding dress shopping- so many shops don’t carry plus sizes, or claim to but only have lower sizes in store and I heard horror stories about poor treatment which only added to my anxiety. I planned to order online but it felt so unfair to not have the experience of trying on dresses with my mom like so many other brides. I searched in local groups and saw people of every size recommending Bliss Bridal and knew I wanted to at least try! In the end I only went to one other shop “to be sure” and ended up right back at Bliss! I was helped by Laura during my first visit who, like everyone else there, was so wonderful! The experience felt so special and they were so accommodating and sweet! They were transparent with pricing and didn’t bring any options outside my budget without asking first, and while they were honest in letting me know they don’t hold dresses I never felt pressured to buy. I was able to try on so many options and ended up walking out with the dress of my dreams off the rack the same day! The shop is gorgeous, they really make you feel like a VIP, and their sizes are so inclusive! And they have a great variety of dresses for your wedding party too! The entire experience was amazing from start to finish and I highly recommend them! -

For some reason, I always knew I would find my dress at Bliss Bridal. I don’t even know why I bothered trying any other place. When I first got to my appointment at Bliss, I grabbed a few dresses. This was the first one I put on. I loved it! Tried on a few more, ended up putting this one back on. Tried another few, ended up putting this one back on! It was absolutely stunning! They worked with us on our budget, made everything so seamless and easy, and I felt so comfortable in the dress. I wish I could wear it every day, because I absolutely loved my dress. 😍 -

I looked for my dress in multiple boutiques and this was the only place that felt elegant, yet welcoming. They helped me find the style dress I was looking for quickly, without rushing. It was perfect. My only recommendation is to find your own tailor. I went with an in house tailor and was disappointed with service. -

I walked into Bliss after months of looking at all sorts of gowns online and even had tried a few on in other stores. I had no clear vision of what I wanted for my wedding and was feeling overwhelmed. Jessie made me feel comfortable and hopeful immediately. She had me pick a few dresses that I liked and try them on. Based on my reactions and my likes/dislikes, she pulled some additional gowns that she thought matched my style and I'm SO GLAD she did. She found the most perfect dress that I didn't even know I was looking for. I had no expectations to purchase a dress that day, but as soon as I tried on this dress I knew there was no other dress for me. This dress was so unique and was truly made for me. I'm very tall and a little on the curvy side, so I was not expecting to have such a pleasant and exciting experience. Not to mention, I was working within a strict budget, and each dress I tried on was actually under my budget. I would recommend Bliss to anyone without hesitation. I'm looking forward to my wedding day even more now and cannot wait to put my dress back on! -

Finding the perfect gown at Bliss Bridal was very easy! They have a beautiful boutique in downtown Hamburg and had many dresses to choose from, with designers I had been eyeing for months. I decided on my dress relatively quickly because of how unique it was and how nicely it fit. I also really enjoyed working with the seamstress Karen. Her work was high quality, she gave me tips on how to get in and out of the dress, took pictures of me in the dress for my Mom, and was very timely in making her alterations. Thank you for the great service (thanks Ally!) and I would highly recommend Bliss Bridal to anyone looking for a wedding dress in the Buffalo area! -

Michele was absolutely amazing, she figured out what I liked almost immediately and found me my dream dress!! She didnt pressure me into anything and was so nice to work with. Bliss was not on my radar originally. I went to a competitor shop at the urging of most of my friends and colleagues only to be rushed and leave my appointment in tears. Another friend mentioned Bliss, and while I had heard of them, I wasn't "sure." After my abysmal first dress experience, I reached out for an appointment with Bliss and they were super accommodating with my crazy schedule. The appointment was easy. I was allowed to walk around the shop and get a feel for their vibe. It was RELAXING. After making some selections of my own, I was brought to a private, large dressing room. I was able to try on numerous dresses all around my budget. I never once felt pressured to make a decision. When I ultimately did make my decision, I was allowed to take in that moment and share a glass of champagne with my mom. It was wonderful. When the day came, I received so many compliments on my dress. It was perfect. -

Everything I Had Hoped!
My first dress shopping experience was at Bliss! I went back several times as I was in between boutiques and wanted to exhaust all of my options before making such an important decision and expensive purchase. Michelle, Ally, Jessica, Gigi and Jackie were the wonderful ladies that helped me along the way!
Each of them is very knowledgable in the designers they carry, options of materials and colors and asked questions that helped me narrow down the search! When I finally said yes, my experience was everything I had hoped it would be; my family was there to share in the celebration! I very much enjoyed my experience and am appreciative of this boutique's style, professionalism and the class it carries for such a grand event as wedding dress shopping!! -

Jessica made dress shopping a breeze. After a disaster at a chain bridal store, I made an hour and a half drive from Erie, PA to Bliss Bridal. The moment I walked in I felt at ease. Not enough words to say!
From the second I walked in, the crew made you feel like family! They picked me the most beautiful dresses and when I found the one in only one visit it made me feel like a princess! So many complements on my dress it’s like it was made for me! Absolutely beautiful and the workers there are so on top of everything. My experience at Bliss was unmatched, from the moment I walked in to try on dresses, to the moment I walked out with my dress ready to get married! You can tell that every single person at Bliss loves brides, and they are all so supportive and helpful. Their main goal is to find you the dress of your dreams, and they did for me! This bridal shop is incredible. It is so beautiful inside. I had a dress appointment with Jackie, who was amazzzingggg!!! She exceeded my expectations completely. She listened to what I was looking for and pulled the most beautiful dresses. She let me walk around with her and look at the selection myself too. Jackie was so helpful and sweet. I was getting nervous I wouldn’t be able to find a boho dress anywhere that was really my style but then I went to Bliss and ended up falling in love with two dresses! I had the best experience finding my perfect dress at Bliss! Everyone there was very friendly, and made searching for my dress very easy and fun. When I put on my dress, all the ladies at Bliss made me feel like I was the most beautiful bride in the world, and that was the best feeling.
I also recommend doing any alterations through Bliss. I had lost 30 pounds from the time I ordered my dress to the time it came in, so I was in need of a good deal of alterations. Karen was very understanding, and scheduled an appointment for me every month, so that she could make sure that the adjustments were correct, especially since I planned to lose a little more weight. In the end, my dress fit perfectly, and the bustling was beautiful. I could not have asked for a more perfect dress. Thank you Bliss! -

Although I did not end up buying my dress at Bliss, I had such a wonderful experience there. The staff was perfect. They were kind, warm, genuine, and attentive. My stylist was incredible. I had just lost my mom two weeks prior, but with the wedding being six months away, I could not push off buying my dress any longer. Everyone in the shop was aware of my situation and were so sweet, knowing what a difficult experience it was for me. Although it was difficult thing to do without my mom, the staff at Bliss made sure I had the best experience I could have possibly had. I will recommend them to anyone! -

I worked with Allie at Bliss Bridal and she helped me find the perfect dress! This was the 4th place I went to try on dresses and I was getting nervous I wasn't going to find something I loved but Allie did a great job putting me in different types of dresses to help narrow down the style that I liked and helped me find a dress I loved! I worked with the seamstress Karen that they recommended and could not have been happier. Karen does an amazing job altering the dress until it fits perfectly! If you get your dress at Bliss, I would highly recommend using Karen for any alterations! -

Not only was Ally amazing at helping me pick out styles she knew this was my dress as soon as I put it on. They congratulated us with a champagne.
Since I only had 2 months they called in the alterationist early to her shift to pin the dress that day. I don't know how but she was able to take the dress in 5 sizes and still make it look like it was made for me.

Every gown in this shop is absolutely beautiful and the customer service, atmosphere, and selection are second to none! The shop itself is gorgeous and the wedding gown selection is second to none (in my opinion). So many gorgeous dresses (that you haven't already seen a million times around WNY) to fit any style and budget. A dress I loved was out of my price range, so I went home to think about it more. The next day I got word it was being included in a sample sale because Jessie remembered how much I loved it. She also hooked me up with a great seamstress who has had experience tailoring Rosa Clara gowns so that takes away any concerns I have about alterations. So in short, I got the dress of my dreams which was right on budget and the entire experience was out of this world... now the hard part is waiting until December when I can finally wear it. The shop itself is gorgeous and both Jess and Allie put me at ease right away even though I was a bit nervous with the process. It took me two appointments to find my dress (the second one being earlier tonight!) and I never once felt rushed. Though I had a somewhat limited budget, the selection of gowns was amazing. And when I chose my gown, we were served champagne to celebrate and relaxed in the dressing room area when our paperwork was drawn up. Jess and the rest of the Bliss team were amazing and welcoming! They found out what I was looking for and started pulling dresses while I waited for the rest of my group to arrive. They were very professional but very personable, making me as comfortable as possible and helping me find the perfect dress in my price point. They never rushed, and were honest with their opinions without being negative. My dream dress!
Bliss was the first bridal shop I visited on my wedding dress journey. I had gone for a Martina Liana trunk show and was blown away by their cute/quaint boutique. I didn’t know at the time, but I had actually found my dress during that trunk show! I ended up visiting 4 shops in total, but found my way back to Bliss and said “YES!” to my dream dress! The girls there went above and beyond to get a sample of my dress back in stores so that I could have my “yes” moment. Karen (the seamstress I worked with) was absolutely WONDERFUL! We became friends after all of our appointments together and she was a huge support in my small weight loss journey. Overall, my experience has been a great one, and I’m forever grateful that this shop brought me to my dream dress! -

Bliss was amazing, my consultant and all the girls were great and the dress selection is the best in Buffalo. However, I would not recommend their alterations dept. I spent $720 on alterations and almost everything altered, broke. My added straps kept falling off, all my bustle loops broke, the cups in my dress had to be removed, the clasp at the top of my dress busted open. They were so busy I wasn’t even able to get a second fitting. I understand this year was busy in the bridal industry but paying that amount to have everything fall apart was not worth it. -

I had no idea what I wanted in a wedding dress. I went to a bunch of places on my own to see if I could get a better idea of what I wanted. I spent countless hours pouring over Pinterest posts, taking dress surveys, looking at designer websites, and even scouring the used dress sites around my area. Then I made an appointment at Bliss Bridal.
They took all that information, let me look through all their dresses (pointing me in the direction of dresses in my price range) and let me pick out dresses. They didn't judge. They were matter-of-fact, realistic, and professional about everything. When I'd gone through all the dresses I'd picked without finding one, the woman who was helping me with the dresses pulled a few more for me. The second last dress I tried on put a huge smile on my face and it made me feel amazing!
It was a dress I initially didn't think would look any good on me, but once I was in it, I knew my future husband would love it! And he did!
Everyone at Bliss Bridal was so kind and fun, and I enjoyed the champagne for having found The One!

I tried on MANY dresses at several different Bridal Salons to find the one I truly loved. The staff at Bliss Bridal, where I ended up finding my dress, were helpful and pleasant to work with, however, the overall dress purchase from them became a huge stressor in my wedding planning and budget.
I was told the dress would be in, in the end of March, after ordering it the first week of December, so I made an appointment in June with my seamstress for alterations. The dress didn't come in until July 13. (I called repeatedly to check on the status and they always told me they would call me the next day and let me know, but they never returned my calls.) My seamstress was no longer available. I asked if Bliss would cover the alterations for the inconvenience, and they would not. They did offer me a $200 credit for accessories at their salon - limited to a tiara or a belt (which I was not wearing), jewelry which was not my style and very overpriced, or hair pieces. I ended up with pearl pins for my hair, which were nice, but I could have purchased these else where for a quarter of the price.
That was a minimal problem compared with my dress fitting. When I was measured by Bliss staff, to order the dress, she decided to order me a size 10. I am 5' 7", and I fluctuate between 130lbs and 120lbs depending on the season. I do very physical work, seasonally and ALWAYS lose weight in the summer and gain a little in the winter. ALWAYS. I assured the staff of this and asked that they please order a size down, as it was December, and I was around 130lbs. Instead, she assured me that they always order a size up because alterations could always be made, but the dress could not be made larger if it was too small in any way. I still disagreed, but she insisted.
I was able to find a seamstress at the last minute, who spent countless hours basically remaking my entire dress. It was way too big for me in every area. She took in the sides of the top, the hips, had to switch the DD cups out to my size, an A, Hem 5 layers, including remove all the lace and re-sew it on the bottom edge, took in the bust seam and shoulders. She couldn't even make the bust small enough to really fit me because of the way the lace was (which she also had to redo) so I had to wear double, padded cups and there was still a gap between my breast and the dress. Needless to say, I did not feel beautiful in my gorgeous dress because it did not fit me even after $550 dollars (which was a discount!) of alterations.
I am not one to spend extra money on clothing, but I wanted to feel and look beautiful for my wedding day, so I convinced myself that buying this $2175 dress would be worth it. In the end I had to invest almost $3000 into it, to have it still not fit.
I am not sure if some things, like size DD cups come standard in dresses, even if a size A measurement is taken in a salon (I will be writing to the dress designer [Essense Designs] to express my disappointment as well.) However, if Bliss staff had listened to me as a customer and ordered the size I requested, the dress would have fit me (or needed much fewer alterations) and I would have saved hundreds of dollars.
When I put my wedding dress on, on my wedding day, I felt complete buyer's remorse instead of beautiful and full of joy to be in it. Luckily, the focus of my day was my love for my husband and not for a dress. -

My review for the experience buying a dress at Bliss would be 5 stars: The experience shopping was amazing. My consultant was very helpful and listened to what I was looking for to help me find the perfect dress for me. I would recommend buying a dress from this store. The one negative note is that I ordered my dress in October and was told it would take 6 months to arrive, but didn't hear anything from them about the status as we passed the 6 month mark and didn't actually get the dress in until about 9 months.
This review is mostly to say that if you get your dress here, do not get it tailored in-house! My dress needed very few alterations; I just needed it hemmed and wanted to have the train taken off to make the dress one length. I live out of town so had to fly in for my first, second, and final fittings; which the tailor knew and was actually very nice about helping schedule around. Which is to say that despite the poor work she did, she does seem like a very nice woman. However, the pins had fallen out so no work was done between my first and second fitting, which was frustrating because it was a waste of a flight and time off work for me to come in that extra time.
The tailor also had me sign something to confirm I wanted the train taken off to make sure I understood that this was irreversible, which I understood and was happy to do. But after signing and confirming that I indeed wanted it all one length, she "took it upon herself" to leave a short sweep train. I only found this out at my final fitting, with only a week to fix it. In addition to this sweep, the front was still too long and I was tripping over the dress. At that point, I didn't trust the work here to have any faith that they could fix in a week what they couldn't do correctly over multiple months since my first fitting. I ended up taking the dress to another tailor and paying for a rush alteration before my wedding day. In one week, the other tailor did exactly what I asked for and made the dress the perfect length all around. On top of everything else, the other tailor told me that the hemming Bliss had done on my dress was in fact uneven (in addition to being too long).
Lastly, the tailor is cash-only. I only note this because she never mentioned it to me before my final fitting when I had to pay, so I showed up unprepared.
