Blackberry Ridge was a DREAM to work with. Not to mention the views of the entire venue are a complete dream. The staff created and maintained a seamless night for my husband, Tyler, and I. From the moment you are interested in this venue, they are incredibly personable in sitting you down, hearing your vision, and going through the logistics (especially pricing) for your day. Our engagement was 2 years long, and yet anytime I had a question for Blackberry, a response was always given and more. Leading up to our event, Blackberry was there to support when needed, give reminders for when Wedding Brain is chaotic, and give advice if you need it!

My favorite part of my wedding weekend was talking through day of logistics with the Blackberry staff, they wanted to know all the information or who to go to for questions because they didn't want to bother us all day. FUN FACT, we did not get bothered once for questions day of!! It was so nice to sit back and enjoy the day. Staff reminds you to soak in the joy and love from your family and it is truly amazing. I cannot thank Blackberry enough for everything that they did on our wedding day. The number of celebrations and even compliments from guests on the venue was so heartwarming.

From our first tour and meeting at Blackberry Ridge, we knew this was the perfect place to host our reception. The site is beautiful, even in the winter months, and Candyce was welcoming and knowledgeable and helped ease our minds when it came to all of the details. Throughout the planning process Candyce kept us on task and was always available for questions or ideas. The day of went so smoothly and we received so many compliments on the food and the atmosphere and the fun bartenders! Everything was exactly how we envisioned our day and we can't thank the team at Blackberry Ridge and the great group of vendors they work with, for making it all happen!

Candyce and the entire Blackberry team were absolutely amazing!! Our day went off without at hitch thanks to all their hard work and attention to detail. We can't say enough good things about them. The pre-wedding meetings were super helpful and we felt everyone was prepared and organized day-of. We definitely recommend taking the golf cart out for some sunset photos if possible! They also provided us a list of preferred vendors in the area that made planning a breeze. We feel so lucky to have worked with such a top tier team!

When we started looking for venues, we knew we wanted somewhere we could have both our ceremony and reception at. We also wanted an outdoor ceremony. We viewed Blackberry as our first venue tour and booked immediately after! The ground are absolutely beautiful for an outdoor ceremony and pictures! The indoor reception was perfect for us- gorgeous area with a central bar. Even better- they did all our decorating and clean up for us! The food was beyond amazing- we had the chicken parm and shrimp linguini. We were able to try a ton of dinner options beforehand at a tasting! Blackberry made our day exactly how we wanted it and as easy going as possible. We got so many compliments from guests on the venue, food, and service! We can't recommend them enough!

Working with Candace at Blackberry was wonderful. She was so helpful with all the details and the hectic nature of having a wedding during covid! The venue was beautiful and made the day feel elegant and intimate. Our guests loved the food!

Candyce at BlackBerry went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect! Having a wedding during a pandemic was stressful, but Candyce accommodated our wishes to help make it perfect!

Blackberry Ridge was a huge part of making our day perfect! Every single one of the staff members went above and beyond to ensure our day went off without a hitch, the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the food was delicious! Thank you Blackberry Ridge! We look forward to visiting on our anniversary every year!

This venue is like no other. They spend so much time making sure your day is absolutely perfect, even in a pandemic. When we got the news about Covid and how our wedding would have to possibly be changed or canceled Blackberry gave us hope. They were right there along the way finding anyway possible we could make it happen. We were so fortunate to have them there to support us and make our dreams come true!

Blackberry ridge was the best venue I could’ve asked for, my husband and I had a tighter budget than most weddings and it worked out so perfect and so smoothly. Candyce did an amazing job helping us through all the craziness of having to reschedule and made it so easy! All the staff was perfect and the food was amazing! The setup is so beautiful and they made the wedding of our dreams come true! Love these guys and would recommend them to anyone!!!

Blackberry Ridge HANDS DOWN is the BEST venue to have your wedding ceremony/reception at! It’s a dream come true! The staff was phenomenal! Candyce was very responsive, and flexible and was there when you needed something. Jeanne was amazing from the night before, to the morning of our day! She went above and beyond to make sure our day was as perfect as it could be! My husband and I look forward to visiting soon! Highly recommend!

We recently got married at Blackberry in June of 2019. Where do I even start? Candyce and Jeanne and the whole crew at Blackberry did such an amazing job to make our wedding day flawless! From day one they were so organized and very prompt! We spent a lot of time emailing back and forth from the time we got engaged up until the day we got married. They always got back to us very quickly and answered our many questions that we had. Blackberry is such a beautiful venue and the food was absolutely amazing, but the one thing I can’t speak highly enough about is their management and staff. We can’t say thank you enough for making our day absolutely perfect!

BlackBerry was nothing short of a dream venue! They really made my dream wedding a reality.Their staff was amazing and made sure the whole day went smoothly. Even with the few wrong turns in the day they were able to get everything back on track for me. The food was delicious, the bar staff was awesome, and the space was absolutely perfect! My husband and I are definitely looking forward to visiting again. We would highly recommend them to anyone!

BlackBerry was fantastic to work with! They paid close attention to all the little details, they were right there if we needed anything! So many comments from our guests, “it was like a 5 star meal at a restaurant!” All the wait staff were great too!! Thank you thank you!!

Blackberry was all we hoped for and much more in a wedding venue. Candyce & Jeanne were great and so helpful and responsive during the process of the planning period with any questions I had. They were especially accommodating to the needs of not just me, but my family as well. We had so many compliments on the location and it's beauty!

From day 1 the staff at Blackberry Ridge were AMAZING!!! They were very responsive and extremely flexible with meeting times! Any questions I had were answered promptly, and they were more than willing to work with any requests we had! And let's not forget the incredible value! The space is absolutely gorgeous and the food was DELICIOUS!! Our guests were blown away by everything! 20/10 would recommend Blackberry to any engaged couples! It will be 1,000% worth it!! Having our reception at Blackberry in the winter was fantastic! We were able to use the entire clubhouse, the food was wonderful, and the entire team was fantastic to help with scheduling, planning, and coordinating the day of. I didn't have to worry about anything on my wedding day because they took care of everything so well!

Our wedding 7/8/17 was amazing for many reason but two HUGE reason are the two wedding coordinators at Blackberry, Jeanne and Sonya. They go above and beyond and they made our wedding go perfectly! Food was AMAZING! Locations is beautiful. We did pictures outside on the golf course. They let us take a golf cart for free and gave us recommendations on great picture spots. They were accommodating with everything I asked. Every email was replied to quickly and precisely. No hidden costs, prices very reasonable and competitive. We hired them to do our decorating and cleanup and that was well worth it. They stayed up into the early morning hours the night before and were back bright and early to get the place looking just how I had dreamed. They had everything cleaned up and boxed up the next morning for us. Best money ever spent. Beautiful renovated bridal suite. I could go on and on but I will conclude with Blackberry Ridge is absolutely the best place to get married and have and will continue to recommend this place as a wedding for any couple!

We are so happy we went with Blackberry Ridge for both our ceremony and reception! Sonja and Jeannie made the entire wedding planning and the actual wedding go so smooth and it was absolutely beautiful and better than we could have ever imagined! We received many compliments on the venue! I would recommend BBR to anyone!

My husband and I got married at Blackberry Ridge in September of 2016. We were very impressed with every aspect of the venue. The golf course is just beautiful! Sonja and Jeannie (unsure if that's the correct spelling) were very helpful from start to finish.

We had the most amazing wedding day at Blackberry! Sonja was so helpful and responsive during the planning process and Jeannie was amazing on the day of! The entire Blackberry staff was also willing to help with anything and was so friendly! It definitely felt like we were working with our own family! We had Blackberry decorate for us and everything looked beautiful! We gotten so many comments about how smoothly everything went that day and how beautiful it was. Thank you Blackberry Ridge for the most amazing wedding experience!! I would without a doubt choose Blackberry ridge again!

I have just begun to plan my June 2017 wedding and could not be more pleased with the process thus far. sonja is amazing, responds very promptly and is beyond helpful. I look forward to further conversations and meetings with Blackberry Ridge staff as they have been awesome thus far!

I don’t know where to start to begin to express my sincere gratitude for the entire staff at Blackberry Ridge. Sonja is absolutely fantastic to work with from the day you sign your contract through the minute your wedding is done. She is very thorough about literally every detail. Sonja went out of her way to ensure that our day was perfect, even though she wasn’t able to be there that night. As a bride, you don’t always know what to ask for or what to be looking for, but Sonja made the entire process working with Blackberry as or venue easy and stress-free. As a bride, anything someone can do to ease stress is so helpful. The food was wonderful – and came out on time, and they even cut our cheesecakes from another area vendor for us. Not many venues would cut and serve cheesecakes! They were accommodating to several guests with special diets, too. Since Blackberry Ridge is located in such a beautiful spot, we were able to have simple wedding decorations and really work with the beauty of the venue. Blackberry Ridge was close to the church our ceremony was held at and I am so glad we decided to use this venue. Sonja was amazing to work with. She helped to make things easy to understand and simple especially 2 weeks leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding. If I were to ever get married again or recommend a friend - I would definitely recommend Blackberry. Food was amazing - staff was fast and efficient.

Site - so beautiful - nice and hidden away from the bustle of city, and PAVED driveway/parking (which was one of the main things we were looking for), not located on major highway. VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!


Coordinator - Sonja made our wedding so delightful to put on for people. She was efficient and really great at making our budget for food work for us.

Food - Epic, that's all I have to say about that. It was delicous we did a cocktail styled reception with apatizer type foods. They all were delicous and the fruits and veggies were so fresh. Sad that as the bride I didn't get eat much... but...

If we ever do a anniversary party we are definitely hoping to plan it through Blackberry so I can get some of that delicious food!

Such a beautiful location for a reception!! Sonja was amazing to work with!! She's full of life and really aims to please!! The set up was perfect and her input regarding colored napkins really tied everything together!(I was going to go with white napkins). She even ensured I had my small round table to set up my POW-MIA table. I am a military veteran but on this day I was a bride and it was wonderful knowing I didn't have to feel somber about those unable to be with me as the table was set up perfectly in their honor and I truly felt as if they were there with us. My wedding reception could not have been any more beautifully decorated and the food was fantastic! The chef even made mine special(without mushrooms!) Everyone complimented us on the food and everyone felt the immense love of those fallen comrades. The entire night was just beautiful. I cannot thank Sonja enough for being amazing at what she does and never settling for less than perfect! I also have to thank her for being incredibly professional even if at times I was a tad on the bridezilla side...

We had a fabulous time at BlackBerry Ridge! The reception hall is beautiful and Colleen goes out of her way to make sure every detail is taken care of. We got to set up the day before (probably because it was in the off season, March), but the staff was more than willing to make sure we had everything we needed. As a bride, you don't always know what to ask, but Colleen was so helpful in making sure everything was done. Love the location and not too far out of town. Worth the drive.
Oh, yes, and the food was great - you definitely get more than you pay for!

Words can't even explain the level of gratitude that I have for all the staff at Blackberry Ridge. Their level of professionalism from start to finish was priceless. They helped me turn my image for my wedding into a reality. Colleen their planner was helpful and courteous and open to all suggestions that I had. Even when I felt my ideas were so left field - they were able to make them work! The ceremony location in their bank of trees was beautiful. The butlered food and drinks were a hit. The reception venue was lovely. The nighttime snack was a hit. The bartenders were speedy and none of our guests ever had to wait in line. VERY impressed with their work!

I could not have asked for anything more!! BBR has a great event planner who was reachable by phone and e-mail. She quickly responded to both, and checked in with me at due dates for information, such as menu choices and final head counts. We had a seated plated dinner for 125 and easily arranged for special kids meals and limited menus such as for our vegitarian friends. Staff were kind and curteous the day of and professionally dressed. The bartender was speedy and kind. When I was stumped about other vendors, the event planner had great contacts from all her years of experience. We chose to get married at another location, but the possibility of getting married down on the green was wonderful, as we searched for a ceremony location for a long time. The value was tremendous: having a beautiful location meant savings for us in extra decorations. I cannot recommend them enough, you will not be dissapointed!!

Our wedding at Blackberry Ridge was so perfect, thanks to the AMAZING staff there. You can tell they are pro's at what they do. The venue is beautiful, food is delicious, and the service is so professional and just wonderful. I highly recommend Blackberry Ridge for your wedding venue. I had nothing to worry about the whole day of our wedding, because I knew the staff had everything under control!

While venue shopping, we fell in love with this golf course and knew it was the one. It has such beauty in both the golf course and scenery and also the reception place itself. The windows along with the balcony that run along the entire length of the reception hall are outrageously beautiful. It is so perfect for weddings and can be decorated lavishly (as we had seen in pictures and from the wedding the night before ours) or very simply (like we had it) and will still be stunning. We wanted to spend a little money as we could and were a little nervous because the place was so nice. But there are packages you can choose from that include quite a bit whereas other venues don't provide some of these. We also did our own decorations and it helped save a lot. Sonja is the coordinator at Blackberry Ridge and she is unbelievable. We were not expecting to have someone so helpful in organizing every detail, answering all of our questions and working with us to help put it all together. She is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience and seems to really love her job. Our officiant got ordained for us and it was her first wedding. We were nervous about how the whole ceremony would work, but Sonja literally guided us and did it all. I can't recommend her enough. They really know what they're doing here-from Sonja, to the chefs and servers, to the bartenders and the rest of the staff. They took care of us and went out of their way to make us as stress free as possible. Everyone I know who has attended past weddings here have had nothing put positive things to say and all mentioned how great of a job the entire staff does for the wedding. I know exactly what they meant now. Very professional, friendly, helpful, and flexible. I couldn't have pictured my wedding anywhere else. It was just a tad over our budget originally, but in the end it included so much (especially Sonja) that I can reassure you, it truly was worth it! It was perfect!

Continue to be upfront with costs and potential costs. With the reception typically being the bulk of the wedding budget, it is appreciated to be open and honest. The flexibility of the wedding/event coordinator was great. She knew what we wanted and delivered.

Blackberry Ridge was an amazing place to have our wedding reception. Candyce provided SO much help in preparing for the big day. The venue itself was perfect location, size, and had an OUTDOOR dance floor. The food was amazing, and there were so many options to choose from for our big day! The decorating package is a must! It allowed me to be stress free the day of knowing all of my decorations would be put up and taken down by them. So many fantastic things about this venue. 10/10 recommend!

Blackberry Ridge gave us better than our dream wedding. The staff was amazing from the day we chose them all the way to the wedding day! When they say they will manage the day from head to toe they aren’t kidding! There were no details to worry about on the day of and we just got to enjoy ourselves. The venue was perfect for our size and romantic feel of our wedding and easily converted to a gorgeous venue inside when the weather didn’t cooperate. It is a truly gorgeous and unique venue! Lastly, the food, THE FOOD was amazing-we got tons of compliments on the hot and delicious meal that our guests were served! I am so grateful to Sonja and Jeanne from Blackberry Ridge for making our day amazing!

Colleen Jeffrey was fantastic in helping us set up our reception. At the last minute, we decided to have our ceremony outside on the course and she was very accomodating. The food and the waitstaff were top notch. I would recommend this venue to every bride.

My husband and I recently got married at Blackberry Ridge and it was a perfect location for both of our families. My husband got to enjoy the golf course with his groomsman the morning of our wedding. Everything went smoothly the day of our wedding and we couldn't have asked for a better day! Jeanie and Candyce were wonderful to work with!

Blackberry was a beautiful venue for our wedding! We had a good experience with all the staff and everything went very smoothly. The food was great and food prices were very reasonable - comparable for the St. Cloud area, much less than the cities. My only complaint was the way they do their food tasting. They have one tasting for the whole year in Jan/Feb with some of the meal choices, but not all. It was nice to be able to see the venue decorated for an event, but it was hard to make the timing work with my schedule. They did not give us a date for the tasting until about 3.5 weeks before the tasting, which was too late for me to request the day off work, which ended up being stressful. It worked out but it would have been nice if there were several date options, or if they would have been able to plan the date a little earlier. We also didn't get to try the meals we were thinking about choosing, but they did let us try another meal at our detail meeting which was nice. We chose to do the set up/clean up package because we had our ceremony off site so we did not even go to the venue before the reception. It was totally worth the $300+$1/chair (for rental chairs), and they did a great job with setting things up. There were a few things that were slightly different from how I wanted them but not a huge deal. We had about 195 guests and I felt like we had enough space for the guests, but we had some constraints with the photo booth set up. Overall, I think it was a great venue and I would definitely recommend it to others!

We had a beautiful wedding at Blackberry! The manager, Sonja was wonderful to work with. She took care of all the details. Her staff was awesome too. It is a beautiful site but not for those who have a small budget. The food was excellent too!

Overall, we had a great experience working with Blackberry. Sonja was there to assist us from the start & then handed us off to Jeanie on our big day. I felt confident in our wedding day because we had such great people we were working with starting with the venue. Weddings can get spendy, but I was able to work within a budget and not feel pressure to go beyond what we were comfortable spending. Blackberry has a beautiful scenery & great set up for a ceremony & reception. If you're looking for quality- blackberry and one to check out for your special day!

While it was a great and beautiful venue, I found that we were charged for every last little item. They were very flexible and let us have our dog as the ring bearer. The events director was very helpful, she has a great eye for detail and is hardworking.

Do NOT book this venue. Although beautiful, the “premium package” and staff were unorganized, unprofessional, and did not provide the services that were paid for.
1) DECOR: Lauren and Deb promised to decorate before the bride and wedding party got there Saturday, since there was a wedding going on Friday night that made it impossible to decorate ourselves. They (Lauren and Deb) said to bring all of our decor and multiple times reassured us that “we’ve got this, we’ve been doing weddings together for 10 years”. The bride specified what she had and what her vision was while the ladies wrote notes. The decor was NOT out but rather still in boxes shoved under tables. They were no where to be found. A parent, usher, and one attendant scrambled to set out what decor they could before pictures. Not all of it even made it out of boxes. Regarding outdoor decor, none of even basic decorations were set up. No bows were put on the end of the rows, empty vases where the floral decor should have been. A parent, the DJ, and an usher set up the table outdoors and assembled decor where the bridal party stood.
2) Organization/staff leadership. The bride and others ended up trying to direct the flow of everything. Prior to start of ceremony we could not locate 2 grandmas. They were told by Lauren to wait downstairs, and in fact a bartender gave us directions to line up upstairs. After ceremony NO STAFF directed wedding party where to go so we went in building upstairs. Most guests were downstairs and some came upstairs so parents and others directed guests to not come in where bride was yet. Once staff appeared they had to push guests out of the building in the lower level outside to walk around to front entrance of building as wedding party had to rush downstairs. Chaotic- guests were everywhere not knowing where to go.
3) Unprofessional. Prior to start of grand March (while bride and groom were still outside for sunset pics) Deb was attempting to have wedding party to line up. As I personally came down the stairs I witnessed Deb screaming at them “I’ve had enough! I’m ready to just leave you all on your own to figure this out”. My husband helped her capture their attention by clapping. She then stopped her telling. Her voice certainly carried to the top of the stairs where guests were. I was floored at how unprofessional this was. There were COUNTLESS times throughout the evening where neither one of them could be found to answer a question.
Although the bartender Abby was very nice.
4) Drinks. We had 2 kegs and one on reserve. By the time the dinner started we were being asked to pay for 3rd keg. Couldn’t believe the others had run out so soon, until a couple people noted that as they filled up keg glasses they just kept the lever on in between getting glasses so beer was literally going down the drain. Food was good though.
Blackberry Ridge did NOT deliver on all of their promises and all that they were paid for. Thousands of dollars wasted.
