Once we watched a Birdhouse film, we knew we had to work with them

Where to begin with Natalie and George and the Birdhouse team? After watching their films at the beginning of our planning process, I knew we absolutely had to work with them for our wedding day. Their talent and creativity are unmatched and it’s clear from their work that they are not making cookie cutter wedding videos. Their films truly capture the feelings of the day. We had the honor of getting to know Natalie throughout our planning process and it was such a pleasure to have her and George share our wedding day with us. They were so kind, fun and easy to work with. We feel so lucky to be part of the Birdhouse family and can’t wait to relive our wedding day for years to come through our film.

2020 COVID Wedding - Beautiful Wedding Film

When my husband and I got engaged in 2018, Birdhouse was one of the first wedding vendors that we hired. I had fallen in love with their wedding videos long before our engagement. Natalie and George captured our Fall 2020 COVID wedding day and we feel so lucky to have shared our special day with them. Not only are they true artists at what they do, but they are the nicest and most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Getting to know Natalie throughout the wedding planning process was so much fun, and allowed us to feel completely comfortable on our wedding day because she felt like a long-time friend. You will hardly see them with their cameras on your wedding day - they’ll be too busy capturing all of the beauty while you and your partner are enjoying your time with each other, your family, and your friends! I will admit I was a little nervous to receive our wedding video just because of how COVID had changed our wedding plans so many times, but especially because it went from a 120-person event to us only having 48 guests. I should have never doubted Natalie for a minute!

When we finally got our wedding video back there were tears of joy. The footage she and George captured was absolutely beautiful, and the story they were able to create of our relationship was even better. All of our family and friends who have watched our wedding film have said it’s one of the best they've ever watched and many were brought to tears. If you’re considering the Birdhouse team for your wedding videographers - just book them! You will not regret it!

Incredible people!

Natalie and George were incredible to work with for our wedding. I fell in love with their films years before I was engaged and just knew that hey had to film my wedding someday. We haven't seen our film yet, but I just know it will be magic. They are the most kind-hearted duo and make you instantly feel like a lifelong friend. They brought the laughs all weekend and did an incredible job of making us feel relaxed and genuinely like ourselves on our wedding day. Beautiful films and the sweetest filmmakers?? It doesn't get better than that!

Like they weren’t even there

Natalie and George were so amazing to work with! My now husband was really against videographers as he thought he would feel like there were cameras in his face the whole time and just that he would be “watched” the whole time but after working with Birdhouse he was a changed man. We never even knew they were there! And when they did ask us to do little things for certain shots, it was like having your friends there because they are such kind and lovely people. We never felt uncomfortable around them - they truly have a gift of making you feel instantly at ease even after just meeting them. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone. We loved them!

Relive your day again, and again, and again.

I honestly have no idea how I stumbled upon Birdhouse Wedding Films, but boy oh boy, am I glad I did. Early on, I wasn’t sure whether I wanted a wedding videographer for my wedding. Most of the wedding films I’d seen seemed pretentious and more like a vanity exercise than an actual celebration of the day and the couple. Then I watched the films from Birdhouse and my entire outlook changed. Natalie and George have a knack for capturing people’s souls and spirits and the essence of the wedding day. Their style is so authentic and full of beauty and love. From the very beginning, they were so easy to work with and made a point to get to know us on a personal level — something that absolutely showed when Natalie sent us our final wedding film. The first watch, we cried continuously. The second watch, we laughed continuously. The third watch, we traded between laughing and crying. For the fourth watch, we just hugged each other and repeated again and again and again how lucky we were to have Birdhouse there to so perfectly, poignantly, joyously capture our wedding day. I cannot recommend Birdhouse emphatically enough. Entrust them with your wedding day, and you will be given a time portal to relive it again, and again, and again for the rest of your lives.

The best!!!

Working with Birdhouse was a dream come true. Some of our best friends used them for their wedding, and not only were they wonderful on the day of, but we were blown away by the finished video. In fact, we were so impressed that we really didn't consider working with anyone else when we were planning our own wedding. Natalie is so kind and thoughtful. She really gives special attention to each couple, making a concerted effort to get to know you on a personal level and understand your visions for your wedding. On our wedding day, Natalie and her brother, George, were our videographers and they were excellent. They worked seamlessly with our photographer, and were so much fun to spend the day with. They put us at ease, kept us smiling, and felt more like family than a wedding vendor. We are so excited to see our video and cannot recommend Birdhouse highly enough.

Long story short: BOOK BIRDHOUSE AS SOON AS YOU CAN!!! I am going to be honest, we have not even received our video yet. But given the wait time, I felt it a disservice to wait until we got our video as there would be a lot of brides missing my review until then! I cannot say enough good things about Natalie and George. They were one of the first vendors that we booked and they truly went over and beyond for us. We knew from the get go we wanted wedding videographers who crafted a story, not just a video with music in the background. Natalie and George were with us for 3.5 days capturing all of the wedding festivities and throughout the weekend posted some sneak peaks on social media. I can tell you those 10-15 second clips on Instagram are exactly why I'm writing this review. They are truly magicians (just stalk their previous wedding videos and you'll understand why). They focus on getting to know you and emphasize the importance of human connection and spirit. I know for a fact when we get our video we will be brought back to our glorious wedding weekend and the emotions and feelings we felt that day. We could not be happier with our choice and I encourage you to book Birdhouse ASAP if you can. PS: They love dogs....that was an added bonus. :)

You know you have good videographers when those facebook friends you have that you haven't talked to in years reach out to you to let you know they cried when they saw your wedding video. I did my research when it came to wedding videos. I watched about 20 videographers and narrowed it down to 3. I made my husband watch the top 3 and hoping he had the same reaction I did. AND he did! Nothing compared to the video we saw from Birdhouse. We instantly booked them! The Birdhouse Crew, Natalie & George were absolutely incredible not only on our wedding day but leading up to it. I felt as if they really took the time to get to know us, even if it was only through skype come the wedding day we both felt so comfortable around them. It also helps they are nicest most laid back videographers you could ask for. Come the day we got out wedding film, we watched it 10 times that night. They captured every moment so beautifully and uniquely. I thought I may be biased since it was our wedding video but the reaction we have gotten from family & friends proved me wrong. Everyone was blown away by our video. Truly the best videographers you can ask for! Don't waste your time with anyone else this is the BIGGEST day of your life you want it captured right :) !

The Birdhouse team is fantastic: they are professional, responsive, talented, and
very easy to work with. They made sure we were comfortable working with them, gave advice
on any timing and planning items, and made sure they knew us as a couple and what was
important to us. Natalie and George were very friendly and approachable throughout our
wedding day and put us at ease in front of the camera (no small task!).
They took great care to make sure they didn't miss any special moments and that they
understood our priorities for the day. It really felt like two of our close friends filming us vs some
impersonal cameraman jumping in and out of view!
All of their videos really bring out the story of the couple, and their work is beautiful and
emotional, clearly grounded in who the couple is that they're filming. We can't wait to see the
final product!

Amazing person amazing work

I was SO happy that I was able to get Birdhouse Productions for my wedding. They were absolutely amazing! Their filming is so unique and beautiful compared to others. I did multiple video chats with Natalie, George, and James. They were all so nice! We connected really well with them which was key when choosing your Videographer since they are with you a lot.
James and George were the ones that filmed our wedding. On the day of my wedding, they made me feel natural and comfortable. I really didn't even know they were taping a lot of times. They also had us do unique things that I loved. Like writing in a book and reading it to one another on the day of our wedding. I haven't got any of the footage back but I know it will be amazing! They even offered super 8MM film which I know will turn out so awesome!
When emailing Natalie, she was always so responsive which is key when planning a wedding. Also their prices were right on point with our budget. I would highly recommend Birdhouse Productions for any event. Everyone was amazing to work with and made me feel so comfortable. You will not be disappointed if you book with them.

Originally, in our wedding planning process, we decided not to have a videographer, because it felt like a luxury and the only thing we could cut out to save money. But then, I was at my mom's one weekend watching home videos, and realized it was a memory I didn't want to skimp on. I watched SO many videos over a few month period, and couldn't find something that felt right. I didn't know what I wanted at the time, I just knew I hadn't seen it. Finally, we came across Birdhouse and Natalie's amazing work. I know it's corny, but I really felt like I knew each couple she shot. It was so personal and real and unique and so so beautiful. Natalie and Miranda were amazing during the weekend (and via Skype before!) They're so easy to get along with and they really put us at ease. When I told Natalie about the lantern ceremony I wanted to have the night before the wedding to remember my father, she said she would shoot a few hours the night before because it was too important to miss. We can't say enough about how great Birdhouse is, and we really can't wait to get our final product!

Birdhouse was fantastic during our wedding weekend and during the time frame leading up to our big day! When we first got engaged, I was on the hunt for an awesome videographer and came across the Birdhouse page. After watching many (too many!) of their beautiful videos, we fell in love with how Birdhouse really captures the special day, the music they chose, etc. Each couple had their own unique story and the way it was shot and narrated, stood out to us from the rest. We reached out and scheduled our Skype with Natalie and were so pleased they were available for our special day. This was one of the first vendor decisions we made and one of the most seamless. Talking to Natalie was comfortable and she really takes time to get to know you as a couple. Aside from the Skype, she was responsive over email leading up and also asks you to fill out a questionnaire, with some fun, out of the box questions, prior to the day that my now husband and I enjoyed filling out! She arrived on-time with her brother George and they both worked naturally throughout our day. They blended into the background but made sure to ask for certain shots when needed. We felt comfortable and at ease with them (and had a lot of fun!) My parents, friends and family were raving about how great our videographer was the day off, no stress added! Natalie is so sweet and you can tell she is passionate about her work. This decision was a no-brainer for us and we are so grateful we had the opportunity to work with Birdhouse! Our wedding video is something we will treasure and couldn't have asked for a better team! We are so excited to see the final product :-) We would highly recommend Birdhouse to anyone seeking a videographer to capture their big day.. be sure to book in advance!

From the very first Birdhouse video we saw, we knew that we had found something special. Prior to finding them, we had sifted through video after video of formulaic, cookie-cutter films where the only difference between each one was the name of the couple getting married. Enter Birdhouse. You can tell that they don’t just want to document the events of one special day, but to tell love stories. Every wedding film that Birdhouse constructs feels perfectly personalized to each couple. They take the time and care to craft a film that not only captures the events of each wedding, but what it actually felt like to be there–the atmosphere, the personality, the emotion and, most importantly, the love. It is truly amazing how they manage to portray such intangible things on film in an effective and magical way.

What sets Birdhouse apart most is their remarkable ability to construct a narrative that perfectly encapsulates what is special about the couple they are working with. Even if you’re watching the wedding video of someone you’ve never met, you truly feel like you know the people who are getting married. You feel overjoyed that these strangers have found their particular happily ever after. Birdhouse achieves this by earnestly taking the time to get to know you and by making personal connections with you. From how you met, to common interests, to inside jokes you share, they take the time to learn every detail, and they weave these details into an intricate and intimate story of your wedding day.

Every time we re-watch our wedding video (and we have, many times), we relive our wedding day. I can still remember laying in bed when we were looking for a videographer, by this point I was already mentally drained of anything to do with a wedding...so I just nodded and agreed with the "yes hunny" but inside I was thinking " do we really need that?" Then we started watching a few of Natalie's videos and I was impressed to say the least. And we just kept watching them one after another and I knew without a doubt Birdhouse was going to capture our wedding. On our wedding day we gave Natalie minimum to work on. The guys were running late...ok really late. So there was not much time for catching preparation video, it was time to put a move on! We show up late...and the ladies even later, so we were clear! After the ceremony eventually came the Maid of honor and Best mans speech. First and foremost no one on either side of the family OR friends are good at prepping/doing a speech, So I really felt that our video was going to lack so much that others had...Frankly at the end of the night I was concerned that we did not feed Natalie with enough good footage to work with. But we both agreed not to stress about it. Every week after the wedding seemed like a year. We were so anxious to see what it was going to turn out to be like. The day came that I opened up my email to see an email from Birdhouse. How exciting! We couldn't wait! We watched the video, and We watched it again, and again...We must have watched it 20 times that night. And again the next day. What a truly amazing work of art!

If you are going through wedding planning, chances are you are going to come to a point where you need to decide what to cut out or back on as you are way over budget. Who doesn't? If there is one point I want to drive home in this review it is simply this. Do not even consider missing out on this opportunity! I will personally guarantee that you will never look back on a birdhouse video of your special day and question if that was a good investment, ever!

My husband and I literally cannot say enough wonderful things about the Birdhouse team! From start to finish, they were so delightful to work with and we can truthfully say that throughout this process they were not only our wedding videographers, but they also became our friends. We received our wedding film last week and it is even better than we imagined! Every time we watch it, we get giddy, teary and incredibly happy. Essentially it brings back all of the emotions we felt that day. They did not miss a beat. Every tear, smile, speech and detail was captured in the most beautiful way. We feel so lucky that we found Birdhouse and that they provided us with a film that we, our family, children and grandchildren can cherish forever. If looking for a videographer- LOOK NO MORE!!!!!! Birdhouse is the ABSOLUTE BEST! When wedding planning I knew that having an outstanding videographer was top priority. I researched, researched, and researched some more and as soon as I came across Birdhouse's website I was sold. It was probably because I wanted to watch one of their wedding videos and than a hour later found that I watched all of them and fell in love with all of their couples. After e-mailing Natalie we set up up a Skype date (which I was nervous for). After 5 minutes into the conversation I felt SO comfortable and HOPED that she would be able to shoot my wedding. Well my dreams came true. She was SO personable and SO easy to work with. She was timely and extremely responsive. The day of the wedding she was amazing. She made me feel at ease when I spoke with her but was invisible when I wanted it to be just me and my husband. When my video came out everyone said "I didn't even know there was a videographer there." I think that is key! She (and assistant) blended in where no one even knew they were there. She has given me the GREATEST gift possible. Without fail I cry when watching my video. This will be the best choice you can make by choosing Birdhouse!

When we began planning our wedding, my wife shared with me some videographers she had found online. I admittedly thought that this would be a process in which I just said, "whatever you want will be fine with me, love." And then we watched a Birdhouse wedding film.....and then another.....then another. I can't tell you how many of those we watched that night, but we really couldn't stop. And we were both tearing up - alright I was crying - and I said, "We've found them - we can talk about any other decision you want in our wedding, but THIS is our videographer, right??? Please say yes." She agreed - nodding and smiling. I cannot imagine our wedding without our Birdhouse film. We have watched it with many other friends and family and laughed and cried together with them. If you had asked me beforehand, I would've said, "I'm sure we'll watch our wedding video a few times". I lost count of how many times I've seen it - I mean it's bookmarked on my phone right now because I still watch it a year later. Hire them for your wedding and it will a touchstone of one of the most important days of your life - a videographer whose subtle, powerful artistry serves only your love, on your day, with your partner. When my husband and I first started planning our wedding, I really didn't want to hire a videographer. My idea of a wedding video was a cheesy recording that you only watch a few times, fast forwarding to the good parts. And then I found Birdhouse Productions, and I'm so glad I did. Natalie worked with us to put together a package that exactly fit our needs...and then worked with us again months later when we decided we wanted to change our package a bit. She kept in touch with us throughout our engagement and was always prompt in answering our questions. She made a real effort to get to know us so that she could infuse our personalities and relationship into our film, and it really shows in the final product. On the day of our wedding, she showed up right on time and was sweet and fun to work with. She and her partner (who is also her husband!) are like video ninjas. If you hate the idea of guys with big video equipment blocking your guests' view and getting in the way on the dance floor, then Birdhouse is perfect for you - they captured every moment without ever being in the way or trying to "direct" the action.

But of course the best thing about hiring Birdhouse is the end result. Natalie isn't just a videographer; she's a storyteller. Our wedding film tells our story and just FEELS like our wedding day - full of friends and family and love. We watched it a thousand times when we first got it and have sat down to watch it every few months or so ever since---and we never fast forward through a single second of it! If you have the opportunity to hire Birdhouse to film your wedding - do it!! You will not regret it!

The product speaks for itself, but I will try to put into words what can be seen through Natalie’s beautiful work. We are so happy with our decision to hire Birdhouse Productions as our videographer. The film truly shows the love that was present during our wedding weekend. Beyond the event itself, the film captures all of the emotions of the day (or on our case, days)! I could not have asked for a better way to remember the weekend by. It is something that we can watch again and again, and will have to share with family and friends forever. People we barely know, who did not attend our wedding, but saw the film through friends tell me how beautiful the film is. Many say they cried watching it! Natalie is so kind and patient, very responsive and a pleasure to work with. A fabulous videographer was a top wedding priority. I researched, scoured wedding blogs, websites, watched video after video and read endless reviews. After months of due diligence, we landed on Birdhouse Productions. The stories they told were not only beautiful and intimate, but made me feel like I personally knew the couples. We had to have them. They were professional (prompt, responsive) throughout the planning process and warm, funny, and at ease on the big day. Our trailer and film were PERFECTION. There are no words to describe how happy my husband and I are with Birdhouse Productions, but we'll try. Since the moment we contacted Natalie, we knew that we had found the right videographer. Natalie took the time to get to know us, and was there to answer any questions we had. She customized our package to be what was perfect for us. On our wedding day, it was like Natalie and Mark weren't even there, but you would never know that watching our video. Simply put, our wedding video is the most amazing video I have ever seen. They exceeded our expectations on logistics, information, schedule of delivery, cost, etc. The time and attention they give to understanding their clients is unrivaled. These two have an incredible talent for capturing the special moments that you never want to forget. That, plus an ability to find the perfect music, makes for an incredible wedding video. I can not express how much my husband and I loved working with Natalie and Mark of Birdhouse Productions! From the beginning they provided us with exceptional customer service customizing our package to suit our budget and always responding to us in a very timely manner. Before our wedding date both Natalie and Mark went out of their way to meet us in person for lunch at a place that was halfway between our homes. We left lunch that day feeling that we had not only picked wonderfully talented videographers but two of the most kind spirited people we have ever met. Natalie and Mark did an amazing job of quietly capturing every moment of our day without us even realizing they were there. They are geniuses at what they do. Both professional and skilled beyond measure. When we recently viewed our wedding film for the first time. We were absolutely awestruck!! It was as if all the details of our day came together in one beautifully and uniquely captured fairy tale. It truely has been a blessing working with Birdhouse and we can not thank them enough for the treasure they have left us with.

Hiring Birdhouse Productions was hands down THE best money we spent on our wedding. Not only were they very chill and easy to work with, but they were also completely awesome and unobtrusive; none of our guests even noticed that we/they were being filmed. The film they created for us is amazing! We will cherish it for years to come. Natalie and Mark are extremely talented and gifted storytellers.
