We booked Birch and Honey for month of planning for our wedding and we are SO happy with how everything turned out! From the beginning, they were incredibly communicative and easy to work.
Planning a wedding is so overwhelming, and they were so helpful in answering our questions on budgeting, coordination, etc and pointing us in the right direction.
On the day of, they made everything come to life so magically! Our planner, Maggie, was so on top of every detail and made sure everything ran smoothly. It was truly a perfect day and we could not have done it without them! -

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Birch & Honey! Working with Kelsey for almost two years was an absolute dream, and we truly could not have planned our Colorado wedding from Chicago without her help. From the start, Kelsey, supported by Angelica and Gracey on our wedding day, made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Often, people would ask if we were feeling stressed, but thanks to Kelsey, we never felt worried for a moment.
For nearly two years, we texted Kelsey almost daily—about everything from planning details to venting about challenging family and friends—and she was always there with a kind word and expert advice. She perfectly executed our vision and found vendors that were absolutely perfect for us. Thanks to her, our wedding was nothing short of magical. Numerous guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended, and that’s entirely thanks to Kelsey’s incredible work.
As a bride who can be very Type A and OCD, I so appreciated Kelsey meeting me where I was, always with a smile. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made this entire experience unforgettable. I am so grateful for Kelsey and hope that our working relationship will grow into a longtime friendship.
The entire Birch & Honey team went above and beyond, sourcing all but one of our vendors, including their own fantastic content creator. They were incredibly helpful and professional every step of the way. I am eternally grateful to Kelsey and the Birch & Honey team for making our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be and more. -

Easy and enjoyable planning process!
Kelsey was a huge help to our entire planning process from start to finish. She is the kindest, and helped keep us calm throughout the craziness of wedding planning. The checklists and software that she used with us were a great way of keeping our budget and to-do lists in order. Kelsey has great taste and helped us make our event beautiful! She is an expert in the wedding planning business and we felt like we were in very good hands with her. -

I couldn’t recommend Birch & Honey enough, Kelsey and Jacquelyn worked so hard to be sure everything on my day was stress free and seamless! I honestly could say i left most of my planning and decisions up to them, and they were happy to do it all for me! My strongest recommendation is to hire a wedding planner if you want to have a stress free and perfect day!! Everything was PERFECT! Thank you birch and honey team! -

Absolutely amazing
I truly cannot recommend Kelsey and the rest of the Birch & Honey Collective team enough. Kelsey was so incredibly helpful at every step of the wedding planning process - from big items like vendor selection to things as small as the color of our napkins, she expertly navigated the entire process with an attention to detail and keen awareness of our needs. Kelsey and the entire team are a delight to work with - they are all so kind and make you feel like your wedding is of the utmost importance, regardless of the countless other weddings and personal matters they are balancing. I tend to be extremely indecisive, so having someone that I trusted to navigate big decisions, solve problems, and make recommendations based on their (extremely expert) opinion was crucial to keeping the process as stress-free as possible. Kelsey and Kristin knocked it out of the park! Not only are they amazingly talented at what they do, they are such a joy to work with. We immediately clicked with their personalities in our intro conversation and never looked back. There was not a detail they didn’t think of. We did not have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding! 10000% recommend them and would definitely work with them again for other events. -

Hiring Birch and Honey Collective as our wedding planner was hands-down one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. Kelsey was so helpful during the beginning steps of wedding planning, from helping us find a venue to providing us with an amazing list of vendor recommendations to making sure we were on track with where we needed to be. We were then blessed with two of the most incredible girls from the Birch and Honey team, Carey and Angi, who were there with us the day-of. They made the day go so seamlessly and played such a huge part in making our day absolutely perfect! Carey and Angi constantly made sure we were taken care of in addition to the million other things they were doing behind the scenes. After the wedding, my mom and stepdad told me how wonderful Carey and Angi were in making the day as amazing as it was and were beyond impressed with them. If you are questioning whether or not you should hire a wedding planner…DO IT. And make sure it’s Birch and Honey Collective. It will be the best decision you will make when it comes to the best day of your life! -

Amazing experience!!!
Cannot emphasize just how lucky I feel to have found Kelsey. She is kind, accessible, and just so talented. I work an extremely demanding job working 80-90 hours per week (ie.I had Very little time to dedicate to dedicate to wedding planning) and was incredibly intimidated by the idea of planning a wedding, but Kelsey made it a seamless process. I felt so well supported throughout the entire planning process. There is just no way I could’ve pulled off such a beautiful and fun wedding without her. She took our vision of having a fun and playful event with bold colors and executed it perfectly. I walked in the day of the wedding and was awestruck at how amazing everything looked. I think it also says a lot that a lot of her preferred vendors are close professional friends of her— it just demonstrates that she is the best team member and leader. At the end of the wedding weekend, I think my mom summarized it the best by saying, “I am just so thankful to Kelsey. She captured you all perfectly.” She’s amazing. Book her services for your wedding ASAP. -

Please read this if you are planning a micro wedding!
My husband and I are from AZ, we got engaged during the beginning of COVID and we decided we wanted to get married with close family and friends in a beautiful location. When I was researching, I fell in love with picturesque Colorado and the romantic feel all the pictures had from Instagram. I was obsessed! Initially, I thought I could plan this wedding on my own since it was small, I quickly found out that it was not that simple, especially when you live out of state. That’s when I had the idea of looking up elopement/ microwedding packages on wedding wire. I came across Birch and Honey Collective. I immediately thought the business name was cute and the business Instagram was very much my aesthetic. I reached out with my ideas and what I was looking for. I really wanted an Airbnb wedding in the mountains. What we really sold me on Kelsey is that the first email response from my inquiry, she had a plan for me and knew exactly what I wanted! She was going to scout Airbnbs for me, locations, ceremony spots, vendor communication, design, and coordination all for a very reasonable price!! I was sold. Kelsey busted her butt for a whole year, she found a great Airbnb, location, vendors that fit my style and budget, just everything! We communicated every week! The day finally came and she brought her assistant and they were both so professional and sweet! Literal angels! They set everything up at the cabin, and transported ceremony chairs to the reception, they literally took care of everything. I did not have to lift a finger the whole day. Even after the wedding, Kelsey took care of some issues (be prepared something wrong always happens on a wedding day) and she was able to solve it. Thank you so much Kelsey and your team!! I can’t wait to see your business grow further! -

We chose to work with Kelsey and Birch & Honey Collective because she really cares about creating an inclusive and approachable wedding planning experience for all couples. This spoke volumes to us and we 1000% made the right choice. Kelsey was easy going, communicative, and gave us just the right amount of direction we needed to be prepared for our wedding weekend. During the wedding activities, she and her assistant Jordana were on point and handled everything we asked them to. The best compliment that we can give is that they enabled us to have the absolute best, most stress-free wedding experience. We didn’t even notice them during the events aside from when they prompted us with helpful suggestions (like to make sure we ate and to consider ordering more alcohol for the afterparty). We highly, highly recommend Kelsey and her team! -

Worth every penny :)
My husband and I had to cancel our planned Hawaiian wedding due to COVID-19 but we still wanted to have a small celebration that felt like a wedding. Kelsey delivered that all within 45 days! I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. She communicated with me so well during the planning process and it was so nice to have some stability and stress taken off my shoulders during a very chaotic time. For COVID brides, for future (hopefully non-COVID) brides, I highly recommend Kelsey and her team to help you plan your big day. For the amount of service she provided, I thought her costs were VERY reasonable. She picked amazing vendors for our wedding (florist, hair & makeup, bakery, DJ) and I trusted her judgement completely. We didn't hire a videographer for the wedding due to trying to keep costs low, and Kelsey even sneakily took a video of my husband and my "first look," it's something I'll cherish forever! -

I originally didn't think I needed a wedding planner or even a day-of coordinator. However some unfortunate events leading up to my wedding left me forced to hire some extra help. I found Kelsey just a week or so prior to my wedding and boy did she step up to save the day! She went above and beyond to catch up on everything, jump right in with my vision and relaying with all my vendors and the venue. I cannot stress enough how wrong I was to underestimate the value of a wedding coordinator. Especially Kelsey. Upon meeting her I instantly felt like I had this awesome wedding warrior on my team, ready to do whatever it took to get me what I dreamed of and hoped for on the big day. My only regret is that I didn't hire her sooner in my wedding planning process! -

Kelsey is Amazing!
Where do I start - I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kelsey with Birch & Honey Collective. My fiancé and I had to cancel our large wedding ceremony that we had been planning for 11 months due to COVID-19 when Kelsey (along with a team of five other amazing Colorado Wedding Vendors) put together an "elopement giveaway" on Instagram. My fiancé and I were fortunate enough to win the giveaway and start working with Kelsey on our small elopement. Kelsey is quick to respond and took care of all communication between the vendors. She chose the most perfect location for our elopement (think dreamy, mountain lake), and was there early to make sure everything was set up and ready to go. We had an intimate vow exchange, and Kelsey quietly caught it on video for us and sent it over the same night! Our entire elopement was stress free and we were able to just be in the moment, and this is because of how organized and reliable Kelsey was. This experience was such a gift to my (now) husband and I at a time we were feeling such sadness and loss - I cannot recommend Kelsey enough. Run, don't walk, to book her for your big (or small!) day. -

I was not the type of bride who knew exactly what she wanted or who had been dreaming of her wedding day for years, but I AM a control freak. So when I realized I would probably need a full-service planner to help me and my fiancé pull off the wedding we both envisioned, I squirmed. A lot. And then I started researching. And then I interviewed five different planners. Kelsey was the only one who made me feel like I was allowed to exhale, and who I felt could be entrusted with the task at hand. So we hired Birch and Honey without hesitation.
Now, I had moments throughout the planning process where my faith faltered, but there was never any justification for that. Birch and Honey always had my back, and the wedding came together even dreamier and more "us" than I ever could have imagined.
After working with Kelsey to book the major vendors, we transitioned to working primarily with Jordana and Jena, whom I adore. Jordana is the ultimate hype girl and she sets and achieves a very high standard in everything she does. She would never settle until I was completely and totally happy with each vendor, cost and any ancillary decision related to the wedding weekend. Jordana told me from the outset that she likes to keep brides involved in all decisions throughout the process, and I was really glad she took that approach. I was able to think through and decide on every detail, big and small, without worrying that at some point I'd be off track on timing or that things would fall apart the day of. It was a lot of work, honestly, but I found I really enjoyed being hands on and learning about, say, flower varietals. :) (Jordana also convinced me to create a Pinterest account during the planning process and then showed me how to use it, if that says anything ... ) I also think she helped me save thousands of dollars and stay around our budget by pointing out small but expensive things that we could do without (e.g. plate chargers, table greenery). This team works HARD. We exchanged emails nearly every week — often multiple times a week — and countless texts and phone calls, and they attended several in person meetings.
I have heard Kelsey say before that it's SO important to trust your planner. And if I learned anything from my wedding planning experience (and tbh I learned A LOT), it's that. Despite my occasional misgivings, B+H always had things under control and, somehow, the team understood the exact vision my fiancé and I had for our wedding day after only a couple of meetings and conversations. They intuited — and then executed — everything so well.
When our wedding weekend arrived, Jordana and Jena SHINED. They were a dream team, and friends and family kept saying to me, "Where did you find your planners? They are AMAZING," or "Your planners are working their asses off and it shows — everything has been seamless."
I could not have been more thankful for them, on our wedding day, but also now, months later. They pulled off a beautiful, near-flawless event and allowed me and my husband to be totally worry-free and just enjoy each moment of our fabulous (but fleeting) day.
So, go forth and hire Birch and Honey. And then after you do, remember: trust your planner! -

Unfortunately I can NOT recommend this company as I personally had a terrible experience with them. I had my initial consultation with Kelsey and decided to move forward in purchasing a full-service planning package + 2 extra days of events (a Friday welcome party and Sunday brunch). It felt a bit like a bait and switch because once the contract was signed, I was assigned to a different planner. This planner eventually left for whatever reason, but no one ever told me. I emailed that planner and her email bounced, so I emailed Kelsey asking what was going on. She apologized and placed me with a new planner. This new planner seemed more competent than the last and while I was disappointed in how the situation was handled, I hadn’t had my trust entirely broken yet. Until lo and behold, this 2nd planner also ends up leaving for whatever reason and it is also handled poorly. They promoted an assistant-planner to become the new lead-planner for my event(s), but I felt she was not equipped or experienced enough to take on my 3-day event. When I expressed my concerns to Kelsey, feeling that after being tossed around so many times it would make more sense for one of the co-owners (Kelsey or her sister Kristin) to step in and handle my event, she essentially said no, and I was stuck with this 3rd planner. So once again, I was disappointed in how the turnover situation was handled but tried to give the new girl a fair shot, even though our wedding weekend was fast approaching. Over the course of working with her, she made several mistakes, was missing vendor meetings, and double-booking herself. It was becoming embarrassing. I think she had too much on her plate and that would be the fault of her employers. Ultimately, my trust was entirely broken by this point and I had no choice but to terminate my contract with them. After witnessing so many mistakes 3-months before the wedding I had no confidence that there wouldn’t be more mistakes made during the actual wedding weekend, and I didn’t want to risk it! I don’t doubt that they plan fine events under different circumstances, but because they were failing to handle things specifically listed within my contract, I no longer trusted them with handling the logistics of a multi-day, luxury event, and for this reason I would personally not recommend working with them.
