I only have amazing things to say about Ciarrah and her team. They were flexible and communicative from the very start and made me feel welcomed and heard! Ciarrah, Megan and Amanda were so kind and easy to work with, and my hair and makeup was absolutely flawless on my wedding day. Both held up all day long, (and through a 6.5 hour flight across the country!) My bridemaids' hair and makeup was perfect too- all the artists were able to recreate looks based on pictures we showed and were open to any changes we wanted. I would work with the Beyond The Updo team again in a heartbeat! Anyone who works with them is making the best choice for their wedding/event- seriously, they are amazing. -

I am so glad we booked with BTU for my wedding day. Ciarrah and her team were such a fun addition to the morning. They were professional, respectful, and did some incredible hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids. They valued everyone’s requests for their hairstyles and makeup preferences and all my bridesmaids were in love with their styles. I highly recommend booking them for your wedding day. Everyone’s styles lasted the entire day (7am to 10pm) and I received so many compliments on my hair. -

INCREDIBLE Experience with BeyondTheUpdo! Highly Recommend!
I do not have words for how amazing Ciarrah and Megan were from start to finish! They are simply magic!
Ciarrah is the most incredibly organized and proactive business owner. Outside of my initial inquiry I never had to reach out to her again, she always contacted me about scheduling and provided me with any and all helpful information well in advance.
Both Ciarrah and Megan are amazingly talented at their crafts and they really listened to everyone’s diverse request. There was not a type of style that they could not do, they offered helpful advice when indecisiveness took over without pushing a particular look. They truly made me and all my girls feel like the most beautiful versions of ourselves!!
The one piece of advice I would give as a recent bride would be to choose to work with people that make your day better. While the day will inevitably be amazing it will also be undoubtedly stressful at times. Having the opportunity to spend that critical time prior to the big day with people who carry the best positive yet calming and comfortable energy, like Ciarrah and Megan do, was a game changer for me. Their kind, funny and genuine spirits set the tone for what was the best day of my life!
Picking a beauty team can be overwhelming but I cannot recommend them enough! You will not be disappointed hiring this team!! -

Ciarrah made me feel like an absolute princess!!
Ciarrah is hands down the BEST at what she does! She made me feel like a princess on my wedding day. Not only did she make me and all of my girls look stunning, she made sure to provide the extra touch ups and small details.
I had shown Ciarrah an inspiration photo & my hair turned out absolutely identical (if not better) to the original photo!
She was very cautious of her time, making sure we all got done in a timely matter and that we were still ahead of schedule.
My wedding day wouldn’t have been the greatest day of my life if it wasn’t for her going above and beyond for me & my girls!
I a thousand percent recommend Ciarrah for any special event! 🤍

Ciarrah did such an amazing job on all of my girls and I hair. Even though it was 90° and sunny outside, all of our hair stayed perfect! All of my girls loved their hair and my hair was so pretty. Ciarrah was able to create what we had in mind and even make it better. Ciarrah is such a great person and so sweet. She was able to get everyone done on time and even had time to do touch ups. I would 100% recommend her! -

When I first began looking for a makeup and hair artist, I was very overwhelmed because I was planning my wedding in about 5 1/2 months and I needed someone good but also extremely responsive and efficient and Ciarrah was exactly that. She made me feel instantly comfortable and gave me all the information I needed right away to make a decision if BeyondtheUpdo was even in my budget. Not only were they extremely reasonable price-wise but Megan (makeup) and Nicole (hair) were the absolute best. They both listened to exactly what I wanted at the trial run and the day of the wedding they were in the zone. They made sure everything ran smoothly and that all my girls were 100% happy with how their hair and makeup turned out. I was above the moon with how everything turned out the day of the wedding and I could not have done with without this amazing team! Thank you again! -

Ciarrah did an amazing job with my updo!😍 I attended a marine ball and she did my hair hours before and it lasted all night long even with the rain!!! She definitely knows what she’s doing and listens to everything that you want!! So talented! Thank you Ciarrah❤️ -

Wedding day hair 🥰
Ciarrah was AMAZING! She was able to get my 8 girls and my own hair done all by herself in a timely manner and made us all look FLAWLESS! My hair was one thing I struggle with as it is so fine due to me having my baby boy but I knew I could trust ciarrah and wow was I amazed! She made my hair look so full and perfect for my big day! Highly recommend!! -

Ciarrah is amazing to work with! She is so personable and talented! She worked so well with me and made my hair for the best day ever so perfect! She is so communicative, supportive and gives positive and professional advice for when you’re ready to pick your hairstyle! She is punctual and goes above and beyond! She made my day so fun! She was amazing not just with me as a bride but for my 6 bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law & my flower girl! She is the go-to!
