We could not have been happier with our catering experience. The planning process was seamless, the team was incredibly professional, and the service on the wedding day was exceptional.

The food was outstanding from start to finish. We've received countless compliments from guests telling us it was some of the best wedding food they have ever had. From the hors d'oeuvres and dinner to the desserts, drinks, and late-night snacks, everything was absolutely delicious.

Beyond the food itself, the staff was attentive, organized, and made sure we were able to fully enjoy our day. We would highly recommend them to any couple planning a wedding!

Everything was amazing

We hired Best Impressions for our April 2026 wedding and it was amazing! Working with them was easy, and they were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. We worked most closely with Micaela, and she was extremely detail oriented! We received SO many compliments on the food at our wedding, and we can say from our experience that the food was amazing! They were even willing to create an item off menu for us. We would recommend them to anyone requiring any catering in the Charlotte area, and we really hope we get to have more of their shrimp cocktail shooters soon!

Best Impressions Caterers complemented the venue with high-quality food and attentive service throughout the entire event. Our guests consistently commented on how much they enjoyed the meal, and the presentation and timing of service felt perfectly coordinated.

Absolutely amazing

My husband and I got married a the Barrel Room at Triple C brewing. They partner with best impressions catering. Lindsay was amazing to work with. She was so responsive and the process of wedding planning was so easy and streamlined when it came to the food, beverage and staff. Lindsay was always one step ahead and her staff really knocked it out of the park. Also the food at the tasting was amazing and it tasted the exact same the day of the wedding. All of our guest said the food was the best food they’ve had at a wedding! Also the signature drinks were amazing their team really elevated our cocktails and made our day so special and unique to us!

So Thankful for Best Impressions!

We got married during a rare (and panic-inducing) snow/ice storm in January. The Best Impressions team did not miss a beat, though! If any of the catering staff wasn’t able to make it because of the weather, or if there were any other hiccups throughout the day, we never knew it. The food was amazing

Honestly, just as good as the food, maybe better, was Best Impressions service. When you’re the bride and groom you want to feel special but Best Impressions made us feel like royalty! I didn’t even get to see what our bar looked like because they got me every refill. If Chick-fil-A had a wedding service it would be Best Impressions.

All of our guests raved about the food! We kept it simple with chicken and salmon but they more than delivered on quality, flavor, and freshness. The entire process of working with them was amazing. We get excited when we hear they are the caterer for other events and weddings because we know to expect amazing food!

Incredibly delicious food & wonderful experience!

One of the most important things to us about our wedding day was providing incredible food for our guests. Best Impressions absolutely NAILED IT! We wish we could eat our wedding menu every day. All of our guests have commented on how great the food was – actually that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had.

Adam was a pleasure to work with and helped guide us with the menu selection, portions and drinks. We had a taco station, a stir fry station, a lighter fare station and passed hors d’oeuvres. Everything was delicious!

The servers, bartenders and chef attendants were all incredibly sweet and attentive on the day of and took great care of us and our guests.

They’ve worked with most wedding venues in the Charlotte area and venues love working with them, as we learned. Adam also gave us guidance on how to build a great menu (also keeping in mind for various food allergies, intolerances and preferences), and how to make the station setup, table settings and flow work to provide the atmosphere we were looking for.

Best Impressions is by far the best caterer in the Charlotte area and we’d highly recommend working with them if food is important to you on your wedding day. Look no further, they are amazing!

Outstanding food! Outstanding service!

Where do I begin? From the start my experience with Best impressions catering was wonderful and got even better as time went on. I want to give a shout out to Crystal who absolutely facilitated every need we had in such a professional manner and was so patient with me! There were many special needs including severe gluten allergies that had to be accommodated and they were done with perfection! My daughter, the bride, has celiac‘s and finding a caterer that could accommodate that need was found here.. alese ate every bite and had no reactions at all! So many people came up to me at the wedding and said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding and I concur completely. The butler past hors d’oeuvres were spot on and abundant and the food was so delicious and so beautifully presented. The wait staff was professional and at our beck and call for any need we had. I cannot say enough about the quality of this company. You will not be disappointed.. if I could give them more stars I would!!

Top notch catering service

Best Impressions was absolutely amazing. Our guests cannot stop RAVING about the food. Wedding at Foundations for the Carolinas 5.7.22

Picking Best Impressions for our catering was one of the best and easiest decisions we made throughout the planning process. Byron's South End and Crystal are amazing!!

Byron's South End was the perfect venue for our wedding! We were able to invite ~300 guests, had both cocktail and round tables throughout the venue, food stations, a dessert bar, multiple bars, a stage for a full band, the list goes on! The staff (especially Crystal) are AMAZING! From the day we booked they were so helpful every step of the way. All of my questions were answered very quickly (and I had plenty!) and it was very easy to pick out the linens and food through Best Impressions for the wedding day. When the actual wedding day came around- they nailed everything. The signature cocktails, the apps (Crystal even brought us apps to try while we were still taking pictures). And we got so many compliments on the venue with the exposed brick, gold chandeliers, gold chivari chairs - everything was beautiful :) And last but not least, the location can't be beat! So many places are walkable for before or after an event. Thank you to Crystal and team for everything you did to make our day perfect!

The Terrace at Cedar Hill - 3.19.22

Just had my wedding at the Terrace at Cedar Hill and the event itself was everything I could have hoped for.

We worked with Crystal Harrell from the very beginning and the customer service we received from her was above and beyond. Crystal was prompt to respond to emails, even responding late at night and on weekends.

The tasting was amazing and the food tasted just as good on the wedding day.

The staff that worked the event were awesome as well. Its no wonder that Best Impressions is the exclusive caterer for so many venues in the area!

Delicious. Mouthwatering. Flavorful.

I didn't even look at any other caterers because Best Impressions came so highly recommended by friends and family. They are incredibly professional and kind, and the food was delicious. We had the wedding on our family farm, and they came out and helped us work out how the night should flow. AND the food was out of this world. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Hire them to be your caterers, and you won't regret it.

Great food & service with Best Impressions and Crystal!

Our daughter's wedding reception was held at Byron's South End just two weeks ago. We had a wonderful experience working with Crystal Harrell and Best Impressions Caterers. The venue is beautiful. And the food was fabulous, many of our guests commented about how great their meal was (and how much food there was!). Crystal was very accommodating, helpful and responsive with all of the many questions and requests I had. It was a great night and we really appreciated everything Crystal did to make it such a memorable event!

Received many compliments from guests about the amazing food

Adam was super great to work with. I always had a million questions, and he was very responsive, professional, and positive. Best Impressions had a great menu to choose from, and I was very happy with our selections. We did a buffet with beef tenderloin, crab cakes, and sweet potato ravioli as the entrees and cauliflower au gratin and roasted fingerling potatoes as the sides. I was very pleased that we were able to have all 3 entries on our plates! Best Impressions also provided non-alcoholic drinks, coffee, and an ice cream sundae bar. I received many compliments on the food. One of my guests attended another wedding the day after mine and later told me that my food was better! Everyone really enjoyed the food, as did I. Even the leftovers were delicious! Top quality food. I was referred by Erin Padgett (bridal boutique owner) and also by Amanda Caputo (wedding coordinator), and I see why!

Always amazing food & service

As a wedding planner, I get to work with many caterers and venues. Crystal is a great collaborator. She works tirelessly to ensure everything is done with excellence. The food is delicious! Amazing experience!! Delicious food!

My fiancé and I booked the Terrace at Cedar Hill in Charlotte NC for our wedding venue prior to the pandemic in September 2019. We had picked a date or October 9, 2020. Then the pandemic hit and all the uncertainty in regards to when or if we were going to have our wedding. Crystal from Best Impressions was amazing to work with. She and our wedding planner worked together with my fiancé and I to coordinate a new date complying with all state and CDC guidelines. It was very stressful planning a wedding with the ever changing guidelines but Crystal was very professional and was transparent with communication throughout the whole process.

During the time of planning, I was diagnosed with several dietary restrictions and had to alter the food choices for myself. Crystal and her team went above and beyond to make sure I could drink and eat at our wedding. They made sure I had gluten free alcohol and food provided to me. They also made accommodations for any guests with dietary restrictions. I was super impressed that even the wait staff knew what to serve me.

We opted for food stations for our guests and we received raving reviews from everyone. They loved the cocktail meatballs and the southern station which had pulled pork jalapeño corn bread, Mac and cheese, and greens. We wanted our guests to have a taste of the south especially my family and friends from up north.

I would highly recommend Best Impressions for any event here in Charlotte. We loved working with crystal prior to the wedding and on the day of the wedding. My husband and I were extremely pleased with everything!

Well worth the cost!!!!!!

We hired best impressions for our wedding on June 5th. The food was incredible, and well worth the cost! We had our wedding set up as stations to accommodate all dietary and allergy needs (as there were ALOT), and the entire best impressions team was so diligent and did not disappoint! We also requested no cake, and did a cannoli cutting instead, which the team was so accommodating of! The entire team was incredibly responsive, we worked with Donald as our contact person, and Taylor took care of my husband and I all night. She was incredible, made sure we had a little bit of each station on our sweetheart table as soon as we returned from making our rounds. She also was incredibly responsive regarding drinks, knowing our specific orders, and having a replacement ready to go before we even had to ask. It was a wonderful experience!!

BEST Food and Service

We used Best Impressions for our wedding and we are so glad!
We went with butler-passed hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour, a buffet style dinner, a cutting cake and mini-dessert table, and bar mixers and their bartenders for our open bar - ALL through Best Impressions! They did not disappoint!! The food was delicious, the drinks were flowing, everything was set up beautifully, and the service was great. Shannon, our point of contact, was so attentive and helpful throughout the whole process, and answered all of our questions. Best Impressions is professional, good at what they do, delicious, and super creative- a 10/10!

Best Impressions was AMAZING to work with!

We worked with Best Impressions for our wedding day and we couldn’t be happier! We had our ceremony and reception at their venue The Terrace at Cedar Hill. Crystal was so great and made us feel comfortable about every decision that we made. She helped us explore every option that we had so we could work through our budget and get the best deal and still get all the things we wanted. She was on top of responding and helping us every step of the way. The food was absolutely amazing. I think almost every guest told us how great the food was. They had endless options and were so flexible on customizing our menus to our liking. On top of that the service was amazing. The staff was so attentive to all of our guests and especially to my husband and I. Anytime I we didn’t have a drink or any food in front of us, they asked us what we needed and catered to us completely. They truly made our wedding day an amazing and easy experience for us! I would recommend them over and over again!

Wonderful food and service

Best Impressions worked with us through two reschedules of our daughter’s wedding due to Covid and went the extra mile to ensure a wonderful event. We even changed venues to The VanLandingham Estate, owned by Best Impressions, which turned out beautifully with our smaller than originally planned crowd. From the delicious passed appetizers (don’t miss the fried oysters) to the wonderful seated dinner, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Incredible Service, Professionalism & Hospitality

We had our March 7, 2021 wedding at The Terrace at Cedar Hill and Best Impressions was outstanding! They own the venue, so we worked with Crystal from Best Impressions from start to finish.

The venue itself is a stunning city view of Uptown Charlotte. The gorgeous chandeliers, covered terrace fit for any weather conditions, and basically blank slate of a room allows you to create the event of your dreams. Everyone told us Best Impressions was incredible and they totally lived up to that hype. Crystal and team were so accommodating and flexible as we navigated planning our wedding during a pandemic.

The day of the wedding was perfect and our guests are still raving about the food, venue and staff. Best Impressions staff made my husband and I feel like royalty. They brought us food during dinner, were always asking if we needed a drink, worked flawlessly with our day of coordinator, packaged up all of our wedding decor in the original boxes for easy pickup, and saved roses from our ceremony floral arrangement for the bridal party (just to name a few things). We had a stations style menu which our guests loved. It was so fun and all of the food was delicious.

We HIGHLY recommend Best Impressions to other couples and those planning an event!

Professional, Delicious Food, and Great Service

We really enjoyed worked with Best Impressions Catering. They came to us highly recommended and after working with them, it's easy to see why. For starters, the food is delicious. You can't go wrong with any meal selection you choose. But beyond the food, more importantly, is their team. Their team is awesome. Because of them, our day ran so smoothly. The best food!

Deja vu! Accolades for Best Impression!

We had such seamless and enjoyable experience working with Best Impressions caterers and Crystal Harrell. Our daughter’s wedding reception was held at Byron’s South End in late November. What a fabulous venue! From the moment we met Crystal she was so accommodating, responsive to our questions, and extremely helpful. Our out of town guests were so impressed by the venue décor and loved the location.
It was actually our second time working with Best Impressions Caterers (our son’s rehearsal dinner was the prior year at the Terrace at Cedar Hill) and again they did a fabulous job. The food was delicious (we had a plated meal for just over 200 guests) and they were willing to modify the menu to our requests and dietary needs.
I would not hesitate to hire Best Impressions for future needs. They were very professional, delivered what they promised, and made the entire process enjoyable. And, if you have the opportunity to work with Crystal, you’ll be very fortunate!

Amazing caterer that will exceed expectations!

There are not enough good things I can say about Best Impressions catering. I would say that my wedding setup was difficult in that the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all completely outdoors with everything being serviced with generators. In addition, my wedding started about 30 minutes late and Best Impressions never skipped a beat. They provided amazing quality food that my guests raved about! Everything was presented beautifully, tasted wonderful, and everyone was pleasantly surprised with the large portions provided. The quality of service with the bartenders and waiters were also extremely professional. As a bride, the day went by extremely quickly. The servers actually found my husband and I to provide us appetizers as we were going to miss the majority of our cocktail hour, brought us drinks and packaged a to-go box for us to bring home for late night snacking. I highly recommend Best Impressions as a caterer for a wedding or any other major event. They exceeded expectations in every way and I greatly appreciated them remaining on top of things as they changed throughout the day to reduce our stress and let us enjoy our special day!

Don't even think twice; Best Impressions is THE caterer to choose in N.C.

My wife and I hired Best Impressions Catering to cater our wedding at Brown Mountain Beach Resort in Lenoir, N.C. and Best Impressions lived up to its namesake in every way.

The staff showed up on time and fully prepared, were well dressed and had smiles on their faces the entire time. Best Impressions worked in tandem with our venue to make sure our reception’s dinner was flawlessly executed, allowing our guests and ourselves to enjoy a most special meal in celebration of our new life together, all without us worrying about the logistics or feeling it necessary to follow up on the details covered ahead of time.

After our ceremony, our guests enjoyed delicious appetizers, which were brought down and served on the beach! What a beautiful touch to kick off our celebration; our guests and ourselves were blown away by the attention to detail and level of service which Best Impressions provided, talk about getting off on the right foot. It is amazing how something so simple goes such a long way.

The reception meal was prepared to absolute perfection! The tenderloin received raved reviews from our guests, as did the chicken Florentine, as both were knocked out of the park; tender, moist and memorably exquisite. The Baby arugula salad was fantastic, the fried goat cheese topping it offered a palatable decadence yet maintained approach-ability for guests less accustomed to haute cuisine. Our sides of mashed baby red potatoes and seasonal autumn roasted vegetables were also beautifully prepared; the vegetables maintaining their delightfully toothsome texture, which only further complemented the potatoes.

Additionally, the gourmet coffee bar was set up and available immediately following our dinner, seamlessly appearing and ready for our guests to enjoy the fantastic array of sweet treats featured in Best Impression’s dessert bar, which our guests fawned over throughout the evening. Lastly, the late-night snacks were out of control delicious, and nothing pairs well with some raucous late-night drinking like a chicken biscuit or slider! The chicken biscuits flat out shamed any others I have ever had, seriously, I waited for those chicken biscuits for a year and they did not disappoint!

The resounding perfection of our meal and accouterments aside, Best Impression’s service was bar none, professional and attentive without ever being overbearing, each individual went the extra mile to make sure our special day was just that. I could not imagine our wedding going as well as it did without the spectacular food and service which Best Impressions provided.

There is no other way to put it. Best Impressions indeed made their best impression on my wife and I, as well as our family, in addition to receiving compliments from our other vendors. Best Impressions is a business operating with pride and respect for themselves and their clients. We cannot offer accolades high enough to accurately express just how perfect Best Impressions’ food, staff, and service indeed were.

Seriously, don't miss these guys.

We could not be more grateful that we booked Best Impressions for our wedding cocktail hour and reception. Literally every bite was DELICIOUS and beautifully styled to boot! The staff was uber professional while also still having a good time - shout out to Stephanie, our Event Manager, who was the single best individual we worked with! She took such detailed care of the bridal party and family, on top of running a super smooth event with multiple bars, stations, and circling staff. We could not be more pleased with their service! They even worked with our venue to source several products, which really meant a lot. It shows that they care and are invested in the quality of their product matching your event - no cookie-cutter here! Shrimp and grits, crab cakes, pulled pork, slab bacon pimento cheese bites, the unctuous salad station were all highlights!!

Highly recommend Best Impressions!!

We had the best experience with Best Impressions from beginning to end. Crystal was wonderful to work with and very responsive throughout the entire process. The food was delicious and we received many compliments after the wedding from our guest. I would highly recommend Best Impressions Catering!

Simply the Best!

Donald and the Best Impressions team were simply the best! We ended up using them for our rehearsal dinner and wedding and their guidance and attention to detail was amazing. Our venue was excited to hear that we hired them because they loved working with them so much. My main priorities for the reception were fun and food and since we're still hearing from friends and family about how great the food was, we know we made the right choice hiring Best Impressions!

Great food, great service!

Best Impressions was great for our reception at The Terrace at Cedar Hill! All our wedding guests raved about how good the food was. The service was amazing too! Crystal was beyond helpful in our planning process and always had a suggestion when I wasn't sure about something. She was so flexible and responsive--she even called me back on her day off once! Perfect Evening

Crystal helped us with all of our wedding planning at Byron's South End. We could not have asked for a better person. Best food and dessert!

Best Impressions had the BEST food of all the caterers we tried. We used them for both our plated dinner and our dessert station. Everyone loved the food and they were very professional. Our venue recommended Best Impressions because they not only have the best food, but they clean up nicely after the event is over. I am so happy we went with them. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food and the music.

Great Food Vendor

I would 100% recommend using Best Impressions. They made the tasting super fun and were very helpful when assisting us in picking our food choices. Fantastic Catering For Your Wedding!

We absolutely loved working with Nikki and the rest of the Best Impressions Team at our wedding at Triple C back in June. From day one, she was incredibly helpful and professional. Her and her team worked with us over the course of 6 months to not only put together a great menu, but answer any questions that we may have had. On the day of our wedding, the entire Best Impressions team provided impeccable service and the food was absolutely delicious. We’re firm believers that food is one of the most memorable parts of any wedding, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience for us and our guests – thank you.

Delicious food and professional service

You will have an event to remember if you use Best Impressions Catering and The Terrace at Cedar Hill!

The Terrace at Cedar Hill was a spectacular venue, and the food and service provided by Best Impressions Catering was outstanding! Crystal Harrell and her team took the time to understand our vision for the wedding reception and executed it with perfection. They asked all the right questions, made valuable suggestions based on their many years of experience and were flexible throughout the process to meet our unique needs. They also made some great suggestions with regard to vendors they recommended for flowers, wedding planners, etc. All of our guests continue to rave over the wonderful experience they had at my daughter’s reception. I would highly recommend them and with two daughters to go, I’m sure I’ll be back!

The Absolute BEST!

Hands down the best food ever!! Throughout the wedding planning process, everyone told me that Best Impressions was the best caterer in town - and they were right!! I am a foodie, so the food that was served was very important to me. We had so much fun working with Donald to pick out/taste the food for our reception. Our guests are still talking about how awesome the shrimp and grits and butternut squash ravioli were. My only wish is that I’d gotten to eat more of it!

Highly Recommended!

My wife and I hosted a rehearsal dinner for 80 at Terrace at Cedar Hill Friday March 22, 2019. With more than half the guests from the north we had Best Impression Caterers provide a “Southern Style” menu. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed and raved about the taste and food quality. Many compliments also about the venue. Gorgeous view of the uptown skyline and Bank of America stadium.
We could not be happier with the staff from the time of our initial contact to the conclusion of our event. They are courteous, polite, and responsive which made organizing our event stress free.

Reception food and rentals

It’s no wonder Best Impressions is on almost every wedding venue in Charlotte’s preferred vendor list. They were beyond amazing. The food was delicious, and our guests were ranting and raving about it. Nikki and her team did phenomenal work and made it all look effortless. We had our wedding and reception and the same venue and needed to have the room flip. They did it quickly and seamlessly while we did our recessional line and it was ready for us when we went back inside to start our cocktail hour. We rented all the tables and chairs from Best Impressions as well. Because of this we could not do much decorating ahead of time, but Best Impressions again was amazing at making everything come together and it was beyond everything we could have hoped for.

Incredible

From the moment I reached out to BI I felt they had good communication and were well organized. Once we sat down with Nikki my feelings were confirmed and shortly after we booked them and never looked back. Our experience with BI was wonderful and I felt Nikki did an exceptional job at helping us with everything on the catering end (and some even beyond). She listened to us, took notes and most importantly acted accordingly on all that we said. Everything we asked she did and often she would recommend something or give us a new helpful idea. The week of our wedding she even helped to save us a little $$ by recommending moving the cocktail tables from cocktail hour, into the atrium (where the dance floor was) so we wouldn’t have to spend more $ on liens! We did a buffet for dinner and many of our guests have raved to me about how good all the food was! We were very pleased with everything from BI. If your looking for the best in the Charlotte area Best Impressions won’t disappoint!

LOVED Byron's South End!

We held our wedding reception at Byron's South End and absolutely loved our experience! We worked with Crystal Harrell at Best Impressions (catering company who owns Byron's) and she was such a pleasure to work with. Always quick to reply to email questions and always knew the answers to our questions. Byron's was under construction when we booked and she went out of her way to allow us a hard hat tour and show us renderings of what the space would look like. Crystal was so accommodating at our taste testing (so fun and delicious!) and was able to set the scene for us of what the event would be like. She so kindly took us to Byron's again to show to my parents who attended the taste testing and so we could see the completed updates. Absolutely beautiful space! Crystal also arranged for us to stop by one Saturday when another wedding was setting up. It was so fun to see the space getting ready for an event!

Byron's was perfect the day of our wedding! The lighting in the evening was so pretty and set a beautiful scene. Crystal checked in with us several times that evening to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. My groom and I had an attentive server who checked in too throughout the night to make sure we were taken care of and never without a drink or food. The food was even better than I remembered from the tasting and guests loved the stations! I had so many comments about the delicious food afterwards! Bartenders were great and everything flowed so smoothly. So happy we chose Byron's and Best Impressions to make our wedding day perfect and so enjoyable for our guests!

Perfect in every way!

Flawless Service

My daughter got married on Saturday at The McGill Rose Garden and Best Impressions was fantastic! From the execution, to the food, everything was flawless. Lindsay and Crystal were great to work with and the servers were friendly and attentive from the beginning to the end. Great Experience

Donald, Shannon and the team were amazing to work with. We hired them from another wedding we attended and could not stop talking about how good the food was so when we got engaged we had to ask who that caterer was, turns out Best Impressions did it again on our wedding day! Crystal and the entire Best Impressions team were the perfect choice for our wedding on 9/29/18! We utilized the Design Center Atrium for our ceremony and Byron’s Southend for our reception, and both locations were exactly what we were looking for- industrial, modern, clean, beautiful, spatious, and very “Charlotte.” Crystal and staff went above and beyond helping us set up both ceremony and reception spaces exactly as we had envisioned. We had a plated dinner and many guests complimented the food, stating it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding (we agreed!). We highly recommend Crystal, Best Impressions, the Design Center Atrium, and Byron’s Southend for any event.

Best Impressions catered our kosher wedding reception meal on 6/10/18. The food tasted amazing and looked beautiful, too. We worked with Adam Smith and Laura Denhart leading up to the event. I simply can't say enough good things about Best Impressions Catering and Byron's South End Venue. Best Impressions is incredibly professional in their work, while also being personally invested in your wedding and what you want out of it. I worked with Crystal from best impressions and feel like I had a friend through this whole process, helping me every step of the way. Best Impressions catered our cocktail hour and reception at Byron's South End and they were WONDERFUL! Crystal Harrell is seriously the best! She was so patient with us as we worked through options and was always willing to answer questions. She was incredibly responsive which is a quality anxious brides appreciate more than anything during the wedding process. The food was delicious and we received lots of compliments on the hor d'oeuvres and dinner. The best impressions team also worked with me to make sure a few of our guests with severe celiac allergies were taken care of and food was kept separate. We used Best Impressions catering for our reception at Byron's and it was the easiest and best experience of our wedding planning. I worked with Crystal Harrell, who was a saint, during my planning and she nailed every last detail (even the crazy bridezilla ones) that I asked for. If you are lucky enough to work with her during your wedding planning, you can rest assured it will be executed at 120%. She's a rockstar! It was such a magical night and the staff made sure that all of our guests were completely taken care of. I originally booked Best Impressions because I wanted to use Byron's for my reception. I didn't know much about their catering, although I had heard great things from people around town. We were blown away by how amazing their food is. We did a tasting where we got to try numerous options and we were so pleased that the food was just as delicious at the wedding (if not more so) than it was at our tasting. Our guests raved about how great it was! The team there was just so easy to work with and they made our wedding such an amazing night. We HIGHLY recommend using Best Impressions (and Crystal if you are able to get her as your coordinator) for your wedding!

My wife and I got married at Daniel Stowe botanical gardens and they have a contract with best impressions (meaning you have to go with them for your catering needs). We were worried about that at first being locked in to a single caterer, however best impressions ended up being awesome. When we went to talk with them about all of their options for chairs, table clothes, and of course food, etc, they were extremely nice and helpful. Since they are the sole catering company for Daniel Stowe they were pros at selecting colors, and set ups that worked well with the space. At that first meeting we also selected several foods to try out at a follow up meeting for a tasting. At the tasting my wife and I were joined by the maid of honor and Sara’s Mom to try the food with us. It was extremely difficult to try and narrow down the food because everything was so good!! We went with several appetizers for a cocktail hour (dumplings, ahi tuna, and a few others), and had stations at the wedding (carving station, meat and cheese station, and southern station). Everyone loved all the food!! We were very happy with all of our choices and highly recommend best impressions for any sort of event.

Krystal Harrell was beyond amazing!! She worked with us to get our menu perfected. I changed things up on her a few times and she never seemed to blink and would quickly get a new proposal out quickly! She helped me make choices with the rental items. Had numerous meetings at our venue. She honestly helped to make my daughters wedding perfect! She worked so hard before during and after the wedding. Food was amazing the service was above and beyond what I expected! We had people raving about the food and the lights and draperies were perfect!! We are so thrilled that we chose Best impressions and so happy that Krystal ended up being our representative! ❤️

When our wedding planner, Mandi Boyle, introduced us to Donald and his team at Best Impressions we were thrilled! From the tastings to the day of, they hit it out of the park and treated us so kindly. They turned out to be one of the best vendors and our guests are still raving about the food to this day. We wanted a fancy backyard barbecue with open flame grills and live grilling stations and we got just that. They did the perfect upscale summer picnic menu. They even made sure that my husband and I got a sample platter of all the food at the wedding and a take home box at night. They made all our requests possible (we started the ceremony with a shaved ice arnold palmer for guests and ended the night with a twist on cinnamon buns with mini doughnut holes and dipping sauce) and the bartenders were so friendly and personable. At cocktail hour there were tons of passed drinks and appetizers and they kept up service at our buffet stations and never let the lines get too long. All night they made sure our guests had what they needed and everything was seamless. We'd recommend them to anyone without a single hesitation!

We loved Best Impressions and I can't think of a single negative. Everyone raved about our BBQ and our cocktail hour food. I worked with Adam and he was super responsive and professional. Jamie was our day of coordinator and he was great as well. Bartenders and servers were also friendly. Would definitely recommend!

We used Best Impressions in combination with Byron's South End. We had SOOOO MUCH food left over. Our guests were happy to take some home. Everyone was so impressed with how well the food was done. We did our food tasting and were not impressed with the steak-- it was good, but not great. Everything else was a complete WOW! At the wedding, my husband and I both noted that the steak had really been seasoned much better than the food trial. Many guests said they could have eaten the potatoes all day and that they loved the appetizers. No one went hungry. They were great at consulting on planning a meal around food allergies. The staff of best impressions was fantastic. If a guest flagged down a staff member, the person would run to the guest. It was great that everyone was treated so well and enjoyed the food as much as they did. I would consider them for any big party!

Best Impressions was great to work with for our wedding! We had a buffet style dinner with finger foods during cocktail hour and used their bartenders as we provided our own alcohol. The food was delicious and the set up was very well done. Everyone that came to wedding has mentioned at least once how AMAZING the food was. Best food I have ever had a wedding, couldn't believe it!! We had leftovers that our family was begging to take home. I would use them again for sure and you can not go wrong with Best Impressions!!

I absolutely loved Best Impressions! I worked primarily with Danielle and Crystal, who were beyond responsive. They were so easy to work with. We absolutely loved our food tasting, and ended up going with salad, grilled vegetables, shrimp and grits, pasta station, and a carving station for our wedding. They provided my husband and I meals and drinks at the ready during the reception which I greatly appreciated! I heard from several of our guests how good the food was! I would definitely recommend Best Impressions to anyone looking for a wedding caterer!!

Their food is amazing! We had a tasting with them and after that we knew that we wanted to book them. For apps, we had the shrimp cocktail shooters, ahi tuna lollipop and fingerling potatoes. For dinner, we had the brisket, herbed chicken, gnocchi, mashed potatoes, corn, and a salad. I'm not usually a salad person but I loved even that. They let us adjust the food a little to our liking. The salad that we picked, originally came with feta cheese which I don't like and so we switched out a different cheese. Quick responses in email. Their service the day of was fantastic. We had one server that followed us around and make sure we had food and drinks that we needed.

We used Best Impressions for our wedding at Foundation For The Carolinas and they did a phenomenal job. They provided hors d’oeuvres and a charcuterie display for our cocktail hour and then a pre-set salad and buffet dinner for our reception. I can honestly say that I’m frequently let down by food at weddings, but Best Impressions did a wonderful job and our guests have not stopped talking about it (particularly our seasonal salad with apple chips and the chicken cordon bleu!). The service was also top-notch – from the planning process with Adam and Laura to the servers and bartenders the night of the wedding. We also had Best Impressions source our linens and a few specialty tables for us, which came together flawlessly. I also felt that, considering the quality of the food and the service, that the cost was completely reasonable. I would highly recommend them for any catering needs.

Best Impressions Caterer's are absolutely amazing. Not only did they help make sure everything was perfect - the food was amazing. The presentation was gorgeous, and the servers were very professional making sure not to let drinks or food pile up on the tables. We've gotten multiple compliments from guests on how great the food was and the dessert pastry table was exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Best Impressions Catering! My husband and I had our dream wedding and reception at Byron’s South End. Thanks to Donald and the staff at Best Impressions Catering everything was perfect! Donald went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get everything we wanted for our big day. At our first tasting, everything we tried was delicious it difficult to make a decision about the final menu. Donald never rushed us or pushed us to make a decision that we were unsure of and always offered his help and honest opinion – which is so refreshing! Best Impressions provided catering, staff, and event materials for our wedding and lunch reception at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. We had an Indian wedding at the garden and had many dietary restrictions (vegetarians, people who were fasting, etc.) and ceremonial needs that had to be sorted through. Adam was our primary point of contact and was great to work with. He helped us identify a menu and event equipment that met what we wanted and our guests and ceremonial requirements - he had a solution to whatever we needed. Days after my wedding and I am still getting calls from guests talking about the amazing quality of food. Best Impressions is an amazing company, who was able to take the needs of a Northern and Southern family, and bring them together in an amazing food dish. Everyone will tell you Best Impressions has the best food and they aren't lying! The food was out of this world and the staff as well. The staff, went out of their way to make sure our day was perfect to include surprising us with a bottle of champaign for our toast, and when one of our guests asked for milk for their little girl they offered to send someone out for it! We also had the opportunity to taste all of our food which was very easy to set up and we got full portions to sample. I'm so glad we did too because we ended up choosing the opposite of everything we originally agreed on. Then at the end of the night not only was all of the left over food waiting for us to take home but two individual meals had been prepared for us to take home and eat that night just in case we were still hungry! Great people, great prices, great location if you are going with Byrons, and wonderful service! Our wedding was perfect and I know it's because our vendors were the best!

Donald and his team helped make our wedding day beautiful, delicious, and completely unforgettable. BIC was so accommodating- they incorporated my cultures food/theme into our appetizers/bar and had the patience to work the numbers over and over to make it all comfortable for our budget. Honestly we were skeptical, we've had good food at a wedding but not great food and even at the tasting we thought "this is amazing but it won't be like this on the wedding day but that's okay it'll be good". We had a beef/salmon dual seated dinner for over 200 guests and every single steak was cooked a perfect medium/medium rare and the fish was wonderful. I was floored that they were able to pull such a high quality for such a large crowd! We still have guests and even random people comment on how wonderful they heard our food was at our wedding. We also used BIC for all of our rentals and the result was completely breathtaking. They far surpassed our vision and everything was such a high quality. Lastly I have to comment on the service, which may be the best service we've ever experienced. They made such we had everything we needed, when we needed it, and even when we didn't think we needed it. They had servers bring my bridal party and family appetizers and drinks during family photos. My bridal party could not stop raving about how helpful and attentive the service was! They're upset with me because now when they go to other weddings expecting the same service they are disappointed. Do not hesitate in the least to use BIC- we truly believe they were the key to such a successful day!

If you would like a caterer with great food and great service I would definitely recommend Best Impressions. Adam is a great, and very helpful he made sure everything we needed or wanted at our wedding we had. Stefani was there the day of and she was awesome!!!!!! She is so attentive to details! She made sure the setup went exactly as planned, and during the wedding was always there making sure we had everything we needed. She even took care of things that were supposed to be other people's job, because we could not find them at the time. In addition, our bartender was great all the guests loved the drinks he was making and he moved quickly so there was never a line at the bar. The guests loved the food so much they almost ate all of things such as the shrimp and grits (which I would highly recommend). Would definitely recommend Best Impressions for a wedding or any other event!

We were planning our wedding from a distance and wanted to choose a caterer that wouldn’t need a lot of babysitting. However, we’re also big foodies and wanted something different from the typical plated chicken entrée you usually get at weddings. We chose Best Impressions for two reasons: first, they cater about half the events at our venue (Foundation for the Carolinas) and have everything there down to a science; second, they have a great range of options for all budgets and styles of food. They were great about working with me on the menu to get the pricing down to our budget, and they were also good about coming up with unique options that weren’t on their official catering menu. For example, we weren’t interested in having a wedding cake but wanted to have a tasty dessert for everyone. On a whim, we asked if they could make a bunch of fruit cobblers and ice cream, and they were happy to do it. All of our contact with Donald and the rest of the staff was friendly and professional, not pushy, as with some other vendors we encountered. Getting the food right was the most important part of our wedding, and Best Impressions made it incredibly easy!

The catering Best Impressions provided for our wedding was simply delicious and incredible. Our guests were raving all night about both the food and service. When we first started looking for a caterer, we were nervous about finding a quality caterer who could accommodate us having a kosher wedding. Adam at Best Impressions spent hours figuring out all the logistics with us, making sure all elements of the catering met the requirements for it be kosher, while also ensuring everything was top notch and delicious. Adam was so professional, flexible, accommodating, and friendly. The entire Best Impressions team was full of rock stars, and we highly recommend them!

Best Impressions is terrific! My wife and I were without want at the reception. Every single waitstaff member knew who we were and seemed to trip over themselves to make us feel special. They had plates of food prepared for us even though it was a buffet which meant we actually got to eat. So many of our friends said we wouldn't get the chance to eat, but not the case, Best Impressions made it easy. Donald was responsive and met all of our needs. Many of our guests felt the food was so good that they actually went to the trouble to email asking us to tell them who we had cater our wedding. You CANNOT go WRONG with Best Impressions.
