Her vast experience and extensive knowledge create an efficient and effective plan that she executes perfectly. You won’t notice if anything goes wrong; even if it does, it will be so inconsequential you won’t care. Ms. Domenech dots every ‘i’ and crosses every ‘t’. She finds all hidden details and brings them to your attention. Vanessa isn’t just a planner; she’s a consultant, an advocate, a director, a mediator, and I’m proud to now say, a friend. Whether you need someone to make your wedding dreams become a reality or have only ideas of what you would like, Vanessa has a special ability to work with you and create your most special day. Not only that – Vanessa is the perfect mediator between you and family members who have all the expectations for your wedding. It is not just the professional skills that Vanessa brings; Vanessa is overall an amazing person: sweet, thoughtful, accepting, understanding, and will become that friend even after the job is done.

Our Experience:
We did not have a solid idea of what we wanted when we retained Vanessa – only general ideas, things we liked, our preferences, and our concerns. Vanessa took our ideas and helped us find the vendors that would allow us to materialize our ideas. She kept us on task and advocated for our ideas and wants in group discussions with the family.
The final outcome of our wedding was a gorgeous event – everything was on time because of Vanessa’s unmatched ability to get things done. We had amazing decorations (vendor recommended by Vanessa), amazing food (again, vendor recommended by Vanessa), and with Vanessa’s attention to detail at the preparation stage, everything was photographed and set perfectly.
Even now, our guests recall how amazing the wedding/reception went, and how it was clear that Vanessa brought everything together and that she made everything go as smoothly as possible.
Hands down - Vanessa was the essential ingredient to make our dreams become a reality. -

Working with Vanessa was the single best decision we made for our wedding. She provided full planning for our Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception, and somehow managed to make the entire process feel joyful, seamless, and deeply personal — all for a 500+ guest wedding hosted across multiple venues.
My husband is South Indian and I’m North Indian, and Vanessa helped us beautifully blend our traditions so that both of our families felt seen, respected, and celebrated. She truly understood how to honor our cultures while still making the weekend feel cohesive, intentional, and uniquely “us.”
One of the things that set Vanessa apart was her incredible accessibility and commitment. She was available 24/7 via text or call, something that meant the world to me. She didn’t just schedule check-ins. She worked around our lives, hopped on vendor calls with us, and talked through every single detail until we felt confident. That level of partnership is rare, and I never once felt alone in the process.
On the day of, her grace under pressure and problem-solving magic blew me away. When the venue’s tablecloths — which were supposed to be high-end — turned out to be see-through, Vanessa immediately called a vendor friend and had beautiful replacements delivered that same day. We didn’t even find out about the issue until weeks later because she handled it so quietly and efficiently. I didn’t even have time to worry. She had it handled.
She also took budget seriously. She found me incredible vendors within my limits and somehow pulled off my dream reception look even though my budget was $10k and the quote came back at nearly double. I was ready to scale back, but Vanessa worked her magic, made a few calls, and not only delivered my original vision, she made it better.
Because of her, I got to be what every bride dreams of: completely carefree. Even when last-minute issues came up with the venue’s event staff, she advocated for us, made sure we received everything promised, and allowed me to be present and joyful throughout the entire weekend.
Would I recommend her? A thousand times yes. I truly can’t believe how lucky I was to find her. Vanessa is worth her weight in gold. Not just as a planner, but as a calm, kind, and tireless partner in what can otherwise be a very stressful journey. My wedding was perfect because of her. -

Vanessa was a wonderful wedding planner. Our parents planned the wedding with her so this is mostly a review for the day of. Vanessa and her team crushed it on the day of our wedding. We had an Indian wedding that ran on time to the minute. There were subtle touches at every step that made our day even more special. Her team was a calming force and attentive to every possible need we could have even those we couldn’t have predicted. The day had many twists and turns with surprises planned by various people and these were executed with perfection. These are all small touches but to have them while handling a large wedding with such ease is what really sets this team apart. I would recommend her without any reservations.

Vanessa is an outstanding wedding planner She was a wedding planner for our son's wedding in September 2024. She was very precise in organizing every event and her planning was flawless. She was very clear and transperent in her communications. Her expertise, knowledge and experience as a wedding planner is second to none. Our guests also complimented her work. She has exceeded our expectations to another higher level.
Over all, We would give her our highest level of recommendations as an outstanding wedding planner.

Vanessa worked with us (partial planning) on our wedding (Jan 2024). The wedding was a hybrid Peruvian-Indian wedding with elements (and a lot of family) from both cultures.
TLDR: Vanessa is a star. We recommend 100%. Don't overthink it. Just book her.
Great Cultural Competency
Vanessa has a ton of expertise with South-Asian weddings. I don't say this lightly; we spoke to several wedding planners who claimed to have "experience" with indian weddings. Most had barely read a wikipedia page or watched a youtube video and didn't know the elements of the wedding, the names for things, etc.
Vanessa on the other hand knew the appropriate Hindi terms, the differences in weddings from different parts of india, and had enough cultural context to know how to (politely and respectfully) interact with older, traditional family members and make everyone feel welcome. This was a huge deal to me (personally).
At the same, she is from Spain, and hence speaks Spanish fluently. She was able to joke, laugh and talk to all of my wife's Peruvian family.
Vendor Sourcing/Management
This is another area where Vanessa shined. Vanessa helped us source a ton of vendors. She was on ALL calls with vendors and knew which questions to ask and what details to confirm. And she insisted on personally reviewing every contract from a vendor before we signed to make sure there were no fine-print "gotchyas" to worry about.
She also was in constant contact with the vendors leading up to the event giving htem a detailed, color-coded binder with a (15 minute increment) scheduel fo the day for when vendors arrived, when they needed to complete set up, how breakdown worked, complete with photos of the venue she took with her phone, measurements, and other small details. (Honestly, this thing is impressive to review.)
Responsiveness -- Vanessa is always on the ball. Ask her a question? She'll text you back an answer in five minutes. She's also flexible to use lots of modes of commujnication -- texts, phone calls, but also sharing google docs to jointly edit, sharing google presentations or Instagram posts to brainstorm ideas.
Finally, I just want to say Vanessa is great with the little things. Wedding planning is stressful. Vanessa is warm and comforting. She checked in with our emotional state regularly, and even sent us a cute little "time to relax" gift after our wedding.

I cannot express how thankful I am for the extraordinary effort Vanessa put into making my dream fairytale wedding a reality. Vanessa and her team were fantastic! Anyone who has been to an Indian wedding knows how involved and chaotic they can be, so I was looking for someone who had experience with Indian weddings. Vanessa ensured that everything ran on time the day of my wedding, and she and her assistants were a support system to me and my family. Vanessa was also very responsive in the months leading up to my wedding. We had only hired her for day of coordination but she was kind enough to recommend vendors (who turned out to be fantastic), read any vendor contracts before we signed, and provide input on other important wedding planning aspects. There were several instances where her experience saved us quite a bit of money, for which we are grateful. Overall, I would highly recommend Vanessa for all your wedding planning/coordinating needs! -

My now husband and I got married on 10/15/22.
Vanessa was hands down the best decision I made about my wedding. I am intimidated to write this review, because I just don't think my words will be able to explain her work, her value, her professionalism.
She was SO ORGANIZED the entire process. She helped me with my zillion questions. She helped me save money!
I cannot imagine my wedding day without Vanessa and her staff: Cynthia and Debbie.
They paid attention to every detail. I was fully supported in every way on my special day.
My other vendors FREQUENTLY reached out to me to tell me how great she is! She had detailed timelines, notes for all vendors, helped me correspond with the venue, helped set up of the space, helped cue the ceremony. EVERYTHING!
I went into the day knowing every little detail - and when and how it would be executed. I felt in perfect control (which is saying a lot for an anxious person like me).
Vanessa and her staff stayed late to make sure everything was safely in our hotel room at the end of the night.
Vanessa even got us a wedding gift! Ah! SO THOUGHTFUL!
If you want to feel like you have the support, courage, and knowledge to get through the most important day of your life - HIRE VANESSA! You will not regret it! And EVERYONE INVOLVED in your wedding will thank you for her.
Like I said, I feel this falls short of all she is and all she does. But...She is a life saver and a life changer.
This was truly the happiest day of my life. And I know it's because you were there, so I could just relax and enjoy!

Vanessa is a very detailed oriented wedding planner to the extent that she may come off as anal at times. That is exactly what is expected of a good wedding planner - attention to minute details to establish a good time line of events on the day of the event. Her experience with managing large weddings was very useful as she foresaw things ahead of time that helped in mitigating risks.
She is very personable and will go the distance to ensure that things run smoothly. She is also very hard working and person with impeccable taste and aesthetics. She has a good network of vendors and has maintained good relationship with them so that they can respond in emergencies.
Our wedding venue was at Hummingbird Nest Ranch which came with bare minimum. Vanessa's coordinated effort bringing a host of vendors together resulted in the wedding running smoothly and in harmony.
In closing, we were extremely happy with her services. -

As a day-of coordinator, Vanessa went above and beyond in the weeks leading up to the wedding to ensure we had every i dotted and every t crossed. Her detailed questions and templates helped us make sure we were prepared for every possible turn of events. On our wedding day itself, she and her coordinators had comprehensive binders and a splendid sense of timing as they kept us on track to hit every benchmark - cake cutting, bouquet throwing, first dances, and more. Vanessa was stellar throughout the whole wedding process. She brought great insight. Very organized, always available to answer questions & extremely thorough. I went with all her vendor recommendations also; they were all professional with great reputations & very reliable! Vanessa & her team made our day perfect which I know couldn’t be possible without them. If there was a flaw in the day, we never knew about it. She communicated with all the vendors, she made us adhere to the timeline (we were actually ahead of schedule), she made sure we ate, she organized/secured all the gifts & cards back in our room; she was there until the very last minute. I would recommend her to the moon & back! -

We were continually impressed by her promptness, by her professionalism, by her familiarity with the official rituals and unofficial secrets of Indian / Hindu weddings, and by her willingness to literally go the extra mile for us in terms of buying small items on our behalf for subsequent reimbursement because Los Angeles was technically a 'destination wedding' for both of us. We were shocked when the entirety of wedding day, even the baraat entrance on a horse, actually ran ahead of schedule thanks to her hard work with coordinating everything. We owe her and her team so so much for making our wedding day so perfect!

Vanessa was not only so organized and knowledgeable, but also she was a huge comfort and advocate during this very stressful and exciting time. She went to bat for me with the venue, and confirmed everything for our special day with the vendors. She had great wedding advice, thought of things I had not thought of, and responded to my multiple texts and emails always right away. I would love to hire her again, but as I am planning on being married for a very long time, I am sad I will not be able to. I will recommend her to all of my friends. Also, her assistants she had the day of were all on point and our day was perfect. I didn't have to worry about, or think about anything. This was the easiest vendor to work with! -

Jennifer Sent on 10/03/2014Vanessa from Best Dream Weddings was amazing throughout the whole planning process. My wedding day went smoothly and according to plan. I didn't have to worry about anything, and was able to spend time with my guests and new husband. She even had the hotel send up cake to our room for us. Without her help, I would not have been able to have all of the details that I wanted. My wedding was even better than I'd pictured it being. She worked well with the other vendors and coordinated with them so that everything went on schedule. I'm still getting compliments about how on time my wedding was, and how smoothly everything went.
Vanessa and her team exceeded expectations. I am still excited over the coordinating numbers they put on the presents that came so that even if cards fell off later, I would know who it was that brought the gift.
I also thought the vendors she recommended were amazing. I used a DJ and a photographer that she recommended and they were both perfect. If you want to relax and just enjoy your wedding day instead of running around like a crazy person trying to coordinate this stuff, you should seriously consider hiring Vanessa and her team. I even had time to eat on my wedding day, which most brides say they forget to.
She is on top of the details (ones you probably haven't even thought of), and will make whatever you want your wedding to be happen. She definitely lowered the stress for me that goes with wedding planning. I enjoyed working with her and so did my family. -

It allowed me to actually relax as I got closer to the wedding then be a guest at my own wedding!
I had a tight budget so I was unsure for months about hiring a planner but was so so glad I finally decided to Vanessa. At the rehearsal I really realized just how crucial it was to have someon who knows what theyre doing and she helped make the ceremony so beautiful! Vanessa didnt miss a single detail and was so easy to work with. She responds faster than any vendor I've ever worke with and I cannot reiterate how crucial it is to let someone who knows what they're doing take the reins when it comes to putting together the biggest event of your life!
Not only was Vanessa wonderful, she also broughr 2 assistants to our wedding so it was so easy all night to find someone when I needed help with even the smallest things.

Rochelle Sent on 12/25/2013As the previous Event Coordinator for Capistrano’s Catering, I was happy to have the pleasure of working with Vanessa from Best Dream Weddings as a wedding planner and coordinator.
Vanessa worked with Capistrano’s inside the Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard for three years, where she successfully coordinated multiple weddings. She was organized, efficient, and willing to do whatever was needed to ensure proper execution of the client’s desires on and before their event. Always prepared with updated timelines, floor plans, and contracts, I could rest assure that all wedding details would be taken care of when Vanessa was coordinating. As with many weddings, there were often last-minute changes from the bride and groom but Vanessa always maintained a positive attitude and solved any problems quickly and effectively. Although her primary duties were to the bride, she made it a point to assist the catering and banquet team in anyway possible, keeping excellent communication between all parties.
Vanessa deserves serious consideration as a coordinator and event planner. Her prices were extremely reasonable, especially for the service she provided. When working with Capistrano’s, she made an excellent addition to our team and I am highly confident in recommending her to anyone planning an event!
