  The BEST photographer!!!

  I have been trying to find the right words to describe the experience Bella gave my ~now~ husband and me during our engagement photos, as well as our wedding photos. Bella was the most wonderful photographer I have ever worked with. I was looking for someone who had experience with Chinese tea ceremonies and capturing the cultural details that I wanted to cherish for the rest of my life. There are a lot of photographers out there now who over promise and under deliver. Bella is not one of them. Bella delivered above and beyond. She brought everything I had envisioned and hoped for to life. I am not a very creative person, and Bella was able to work patiently with me to curate photographs that did not look dated but ones that could last a lifetime. For our engagement shoot, we carefully prepared for a snow shoot and she was open and honest with me from the beginning of how finicky snow shoots could be. The best part of Bella’s photography, in my opinion, is that her subjects never look stiff. She makes everyone feel welcome and open. She makes you forget the camera is around and the product is an organic moment with your partner. Now, where to get started on the wedding day. Bella is a master photographer and coordinator. We communicated constantly between engagement photos and wedding day, she helped me make decisions on what would photograph well, timing and direction. I was really hesitant to have my wedding and reception all in the same tent, but could not come up with an alternative, Bella came back with a new idea for the ceremony space, and we got hitched without a hitch. She has the best perspective and lighting ideas to capture every moment and mood. Bella was also SO quick to return first look photos, my family could not have been more delighted. Choosing Bella as our photographer was the best and easiest decision my husband made for the wedding. If you’re on the fence, hop on over, these photographs are forever.

  Phenomenal & Personable Proposal Experience

  I started planning the proposal to my now fiancée (Taylor) about 6 months ago and other than the ring, the most important decision I knew I would have to make throughout the planning process was finding the right photographer to share this moment with. I started researching photographers in the Boston area online and submitting inquiries (using sites like Yelp, Wedding Wire, and Google). I knew after my first correspondence with Bella that she was the right person to capture this monumental life event for myself, my fiancée, and for the family and friends who could not be there in person due to safety concerns of COVID-19 and would lean on those photos to feel like they were there in person. Almost every photographer got back to me with a cookie cutter response, something a long the lines of "Thank you for inquiring about pricing. What dates are you interested in and what time?, Pricing is X, Y, or Z.. ". Not exactly the response I'm looking for to sell me on the fact that they were the right person for the job. Bella on the other hand, reached out and wanted to get to know more about Taylor and I. She wanted to know how we started dating, what our story was, what our hobbies are, whats important to us, what locations would be meaningful for the proposal, and so on and so forth. It felt like she truly cared about us and by getting to know us better, she was able to come up with an effective strategy to capture the proposal and all of its glory on the Esplanade along the Charles River.
  
  She answered question after question I had during the weeks leading up to it and she took it in stride. She made sure my expectations were realistic, helped with the logistical planning of timing, what background to use based on the position of the sun that day, all while keeping the experience extremely friendly and professional. As someone who wanted to make sure the proposal would go as smooth as possible, I could not be more grateful for her guidance. She reminded me to just have fun and take in the moment, to not worry if I don't propose in the exact location we had discussed. Taylor and I could not be more ecstatic about the photos she captured and we are blessed to be able to have these for the rest of our lives. I would 100% recommend using Bella for any photographing needs. Thank you!

  Amazing wedding photographer!

  You should absolutely reach out to Bella immediately to photograph your wedding. She is truly spectacular. We are incredibly grateful that she photographed our wedding and engagement photos. F
  
  For starters, she is just the kindest person and will always make you feel at ease. She really wanted us to have a magnificent day, and we felt so comfortable around her.
  
  We weren't quite sure what to do for our engagement shoot, and she reached out that there was going to be an epic snowfall that would likely be the only one that season perfect for photos. We were absolutely game, and she delivered! She braved the cold and crazy snow fall that morning to get us the most beautiful photos.
  
  For our wedding, she was always so easy to communicate with and so organized. She was super flexible and always has great ideas for poses and suggestions. We were so impressed at how she captured every aspect of our day. She is so thoughtful about thinking about every photos that you really want to get, and making sure that she makes it happen.
  
  Our photos always came earlier than she said they would, and we just are so so grateful to Bella.

  Beautiful Autumn Day

  Bella Wang photography gave my husband and I the best first time photo shoot experience, and it was the best day of our lives ! Even though we went to Boston City Hall, she captured our LOVE so beautifully ! She is a very talented photographer, sweet, easy going and just amazing ! I want her to photograph all my events !!

  Intimate covid lgbtq wedding!

  My partner and I are one of those couples where one of us loves pictures and the other aims for the minimum necessary. For our intimate pandemic wedding, three things we both agreed were important to us were: (1) having a photographer document our special day, (2) having this photographer based locally in Cambridge, MA, and (3) having experience with LGBTQ weddings.
  
  We found Bella while looking for photo ideas around Cambridge City Hall online and came across her Cambridge City Hall Wedding blog post. We were impressed by how natural her pictures were and how she captured really intimate moments in a beautiful way.
  
  Bella was amazingly communicative from the moment we contacted her. She was very patient as we figured out details for our wedding (we were so eager to have her take our pictures that we contacted her before having a final date in city hall), which demonstrated her flexibility with our current uncertain times.
  
  With us having no experience at all in photoshoots, ours became one of the most magical memories from our wedding. Bella shared really insightful feedback as we prepared for our actual photoshoot and was flexible to adapt to changing plans on the day of. She was also really good at capturing good scenes that were actually on par with the types of pictures we wanted as keepsakes.
  
  Needless to say, the end result was astounding. All of our friends and family who have seen our pictures have been amazed at their great quality and cannot believe the fact that all of our pictures were taken locally (in a local park, our parking lot, city hall itself).
  
  Bella really exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much, Bella, for helping us capture our very special day!

  You need to book Bella now!

  I knew Bella was going to be amazing from the first email she sent! Even though we had a very small celebration she took care to get to know us and what we wanted beforehand during our call before the event. During our big day she got our group energized and we all had a blast while Bella was shooting. She had a keen eye for details and angles that never would have occured to us. After the event she quickly got us "sneak peak" shots that we were able to share with family and friends and everyone raved at how good the quality was and how she brought out the best in my wife and I.   Bella is the GOAT

  Bella is an absolute gem. From the very beginning, she was super personable, funny, and great about communication. I had about a bajillion and one questions and Bella answered all of them without an ounce of impatience. Navigating the uncertainty of wedding planning in the midst of COVID was difficult, but Bella took it all in stride.
  
  Leading up to the wedding, Bella was great about answering emails and DMs super quickly and on the day of the wedding itself, she was kind and gracious and made my husband and I look way less awkward in the photos than we are in real life. She made it all feel natural, and some of my favorite photos are the both of us belly laughing from whatever quip Bella just said.
  
  I cried happy tears when our gallery was delivered, and I'm so grateful Bella was our wedding photographer. I know I'll cherish these photos for the rest of my life. Thank you, Bella!! 10000000/10, definitely would recommend.

  Great for camera shy folks like me!

  We sought Bella out for an engagement photoshoot this past summer (2021). She was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, taking the time to get to know us and work out the types of pictures we hope to get (there's even a detailed questionnaire she sent to ensure that she highlights the aspects of us - as individuals and as a couple - that we love!). Furthermore, the weather the past summer has been incredibly unpredictable, but she remained flexible through it all, rescheduling whenever the weather didn't favour a shoot. It was our first ever photoshoot, but she talked us through the poses and stuff, and made it fun instead of stressful! Highly recommend working with Bella if you're the type who feels terrified of being in front of the camera - she makes it painless :)

  If you want the best choose Bella!

  2020 had its challenges, to say the least. We had to cancel our original day and planned a smaller ceremony. We knew that we still wanted Bella to capture our day. Bella was communicative with her needs to ensure that everyone was safe. Looking back at these pictures truly is a joy. As a couple, we were open to trying anything and Bella ran with it. Bella had so many creative ideas and we were willing to try them out due to the trust we put in her. Some of the more creative pictures are the ones that we love! Our family was very impressed with the dedication Bella showed with getting the right shot. Bella is willing to work with you and your comfort level to make sure that you are getting the pictures that you want.   Bella is exceptional!

  We are so incredibly lucky to have booked Bella Wang for our wedding. We had our engagement photoshoot with her, and loved her style, and then booked our wedding with her as soon as we had a venue secured! She is incredibly versatile: our engagement photoshoot was outside and she did such a fantastic job of using natural light and framing to capture the natural beauty around us so well. But then we ended up booking an indoor venue for our winter wedding, the Parker House in Boston, which is a beautiful, historic, yet super dark building. Not a lot of natural light to work with, especially in winter time for an evening wedding! We chose Bella for our wedding because of the photographers we were considering, she was also very skilled in capturing beautiful memories in low-lighting, evening, indoor settings. This was so crucial! There was a big storm during our wedding day and everything was quite dark, but Bella knew how to capture so much richness and variety in her gallery for us. It is one of those rare occasions where these indoor photos look and feel like how we experienced the spaces in-person!
  
  Bella is a detailed and thoughtful photographer; which starts from her in-depth questionnaires to get to know you as a couple and your goals for the day, and continues throughout the experience.   We are so incredibly lucky to have booked Bella Wang for our wedding. We had our engagement photoshoot with her, and loved her style, and then booked our wedding with her as soon as we had a venue secured! She is incredibly versatile: our engagement photoshoot was outside and she did such a fantastic job of using natural light and framing to capture the natural beauty around us so well. But then we ended up booking an indoor venue for our winter wedding, the Parker House in Boston, which is a beautiful, historic, yet super dark building. Not a lot of natural light to work with, especially in winter time for an evening wedding! We chose Bella for our wedding because of the photographers we were considering, she was also very skilled in capturing beautiful memories in low-lighting, evening, indoor settings. This was so crucial! There was a big storm during our wedding day and everything was quite dark, but Bella knew how to capture so much richness and variety in her gallery for us. It is one of those rare occasions where these indoor photos look and feel like how we experienced the spaces in-person!
  
  Bella is a detailed and thoughtful photographer; which starts from her in-depth questionnaires to get to know you as a couple and your goals for the day, and continues throughout the experience.   Best decision we made!

  We actually had to change photographers last minute and a family friend had recently hired Bella, so we decided to reach out. What was so stressful immediately became a blessing in disguise! She was super responsive, willing to answer any questions we had before hiring her, and mindful of our time crunch. She had us answer a detailed survey beforehand which was huge on the wedding day, because she knew exactly what we were looking for and the shots we wanted. She also took the time to talk with a beforehand so we were comfortable with her the day off. Bella & Edward were so easy to work with, super friendly and super efficient!   THE Boston Photographer you NEED.

  My husband and I are a local couple in Boston and Bella made all of our wishes come true. We had been looking for months and talked to many various photographers and when we finally spoke to Bella, it seemed like it all meant to be! You know when you look at wedding pictures and they just take your breath away? This is exactly how Bella's pictures will make you feel. She is extremely kind and and professional and the type of person you would want to be friends with! I already know that my future pictures will be taken by Bella!! We had planned our wedding last year and with the pandemic, we decided adjust our guest count from 200+ to 15 people. Bella was on the same thought process in terms of safety and doing what would be best for us but also for the health of everyone involved. She provided best places for photography and helped us feel comfortable but also just having fun!   Wonderful Photographer!

  We hired Bella Wang to photograph our wedding in August and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision! We were impressed with how detailed oriented she is and how easy she is to work with. She is very organized, responsive and commutative which are all important traits in a wedding photographer. She kept us updated after our engagement and wedding sessions by sending out teasers immediately. She also takes her job very seriously – one thing I noticed is that she would begin to pack up her equipment as she was wrapping both our sessions but she took her camera back out immediately because she saw a great moment she wanted to capture! I couldn’t recommend her enough!

  Bella is the BEST! I could not express how thankful and grateful to have her for our wedding. Our wedding was on June 8th, 2019. Everything flows perfectly under Bella's control. Our parents and relatives traveled from China to the US to attend our wedding. Everyone spoke highly of Bella's professionalism. After our wedding, many guests even asked about Bella. Our guests mentioned that Bella is a very professional person to work with.
  
  I have worked with a few photographers in my life. Bella is definitely the most experienced one. When I worked with other photographers, I frequently had to keep posing under their instructions. I could easily get tired and bored very quickly. The pictures were always edited too much. I have to say that I need to pose sometimes when I work with Bella. However, it is very quick and brief. I could mostly behave naturally. She could capture the photo really well. I could tell how skilled she is from the photos she took for my guests and bridal party. Bella could always get the best moment. I feel everyone on the photo is the person with a glaring looking. Bella really captured the best moment. We knew immediately upon meeting her that we wanted to hire her for our wedding day. On your wedding day you definitely want a team of photographers that you feel totally comfortable around as you spend basically the whole day with them! Bella and her husband were amazing. Not only were our photos stunning but they made us feel comfortable being ourselves, which allows for the most natural photos. I would gladly work with Bella again when we start a family someday!

Bella also gave great cues, and, instead of looking awkward and anxious my fiance and I looked natural and as happy as we truly were in our engagement photos.

Bella made my husband and I at ease during our engagement session. She knew how to guide us as well as allow us time to be ourselves.   Book Bella Immediately!

  Bella was an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end for our wedding photos. For both our engagement photos and our 13 hour wedding day, Bella was engaged, listened to our ideas of what we wanted to capture, and provided us recommendations for what she thought would be a good to capture. Even before the day of the event, she would send us a questionnaire to help her get a better understanding of what we wanted from her and who we were as a couple. Prior to the big date, we had a zoom meeting to go over questions and additional details. This was something that we definitely appreciated. Her photos certainly captured our most beautiful moments and brought back all the emotions we felt on our big day. She also kept us relaxed throughout the entire day when shooting. She was also quick to give us teaser photos and videos to keep our excitement controlled :) We in addition to our family and friends all loved our photos. I'd love to have Bella capture our major life events in the future and highly recommend her to everyone!

  Bella was an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end for our wedding photos. For both our engagement photos and our 13 hour wedding day, Bella was engaged, listened to our ideas of what we wanted to capture, and provided us recommendations for what she thought would be a good to capture. Even before the day of the event, she would send us a questionnaire to help her get a better understanding of what we wanted from her and who we were as a couple. Prior to the big date, we had a zoom meeting to go over questions and additional details. This was something that we definitely appreciated. Her photos certainly captured our most beautiful moments and brought back all the emotions we felt on our big day. She also kept us relaxed throughout the entire day when shooting. She was also quick to give us teaser photos and videos to keep our excitement controlled :) We in addition to our family and friends all loved our photos.
