We recently celebrated our wedding at Bella Cosa on September 15, 2024, and it was truly a dream come true! The vintage Italian estate aesthetic is simply stunning, and the breathtaking views made for a magical backdrop for our special day. After viewing only one other venue, we knew right away that Bella Cosa was the one.
Leading up to our wedding, the planning process was seamless, and the staff was incredibly responsive to all our questions. They made everything so easy and stress-free. Our guests can't stop raving about how beautiful the venue was, and we couldn't agree more!
The estate also offered lovely accommodations for us and some of our guests. The new honeymoon suite was absolutely perfect for my husband and I —such a romantic retreat!
All the vendors worked together flawlessly, creating the wedding of our dreams. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Bella Cosa, for making our day unforgettable! We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host their wedding in a truly magical setting. -

Literally the wedding venue of our dreams! It has such a beautiful, italian villa rustic romantic charm. Minimal decor is needed because the venue speaks for itself. All of our guests were raving about the vibe of the venue.
We loved how it has multiple spaces that we could utilize throughout our ceremony and reception. The overnight guest suites for the bride & groom and selected guests are really convenient. The coordination team at the venue were so helpful throughout our planning process & all of their recommended vendors are great! The day of venue staff handles everything smoothly on the venue side and is helpful to other vendors. Knowing we had this venue helped everything else for our day to fall into place and let us have a perfect wedding! -

Dream venue
Our wedding at Bella Cosa was nothing short of magical — truly the day of our dreams brought to life in the most beautiful way. From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the breathtaking landscaping, the meticulous attention to detail, and the exceptional team who made everything feel effortless. Every inch of the property felt like it was made for us, and the atmosphere was pure romance.
But what truly set Bella Cosa apart — and what I’ll be forever grateful for — were Shelby and Lori. These two women were absolute angels throughout the entire planning process and on our big day. Attentive, compassionate, communicative, and endlessly kind, they became the rock I leaned on, the calm in the chaos, and the guiding hands that made everything come together perfectly. From the moment we stepped onto the Bella Cosa property, we knew it was something special. The planning process was smooth and stress-free, and our wedding turned out to be everything we dreamed of. The lakefront setting, historic charm, and peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to say “I do.”
Huge thanks to Brittany, our amazing wedding consultant, for guiding us through it all—we couldn’t have done it without her and our planner.
What truly set Bella Cosa apart was the feeling it gave us. From exchanging private vows under the oak trees, to our bubble exit surrounded by loved ones, to ending the night in the upstairs suites eating pizza and laughing with friends and family—it was pure magic. Being able to stay on-site that night made everything even better.

I'm getting married at Bella Cosa in March, and have been nothing but impressed with the team there! Whenever I have a question, they answer within 24 hours. I also booked their in-house catering/bar company which is really well priced - I was shocked! The grounds are also fabulous -- there's nothing like it in all of Florida. I highly recommend you book with Bella Cosa. They will take care of you from the moment you come to tour, through the planning process, and the day. Can't say enough about this team! -

When we first started looking at wedding venues I'd told my now-husband that I wasn't into the rustic vibe. When he first suggested touring Bella Cosa I was a little bit skeptical - but by the end of the tour I knew it was the place for us. It's just such a beautiful and elegant venue and there's so many different rooms and spots that make this place shine. Prospective brides, PLEASE do yourselves a favor and use as much of the venue space as you can, don't just limit yourself to the lawn or dining hall!
We've gotten so many compliments on how beautiful the spot was and I wouldn't dream of having done our wedding anywhere else.
The staff was so helpful and supportive and answered so many late-night questions from me with professionalism and promptness (and I had a lot of burning Sunday-at-2am questions -- sorry guys!). Right down to having a plan B in case of bad weather and a very clear decision making process that outlined when and how to make that call, though fortunately we evaded the rain by just a few hours.
The space is incredible and the staff is amazing. Thank you. I can't wait to get the rest of our photos back. -

Bella Cosa was a no brainer as soon as I saw it. Being in central Florida, most venues are barns, which are fine...just not my style. I have always been drawn to more European style weddings and Bella Cosa provides EXACTLY that. The staff was so helpful and I love that they actually sent regular check-in emails in the months leading up to the wedding. They answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. I even had a minor complaint in the planning process (I'll get to that later), but they handled it with grace and made me feel validated in my concern. We booked one of the packages that allowed us to stay the weekend, which is ABSOLUTE MUST, especially if you have lots of out of towners. Everyone was blown away by the venue and how gorgeous it was. Our guests the day of said the same thing. One of my friends said I absolutely outdid myself with the wedding (and they knew me as the wedding obsessed girl who has been planning her wedding since college), and Bella Cosa was a big part of that. The one downside to the venue is that it is in a pretty remote location, and doesn't really make traveling there easy if you aren't driving (which a few of my friends didn't). The complaint I referenced earlier was finding out that rideshares are not really a thing there, even though when I first toured the venue the staff member who gave the tour said it wasn't an issue. However, that may have been an error on her part only, because later on when I double checked, they did say that rideshares weren't reliable. That being said, it was a very small hiccup. Besides that, I have nothing but good things to say and Caitlyn, the venue coordinator the day of, was a huge help. Thank you so much to Bella Cosa for making our dream come true! -

We fell in love with this venue as soon as we saw it. We even cancelled a couple of other venue tours because we knew it was the one as soon as we visited. It's the perfect blend of old world charm with modern amenities. The bridal suite was so spacious and well appointed and the scenery was breathtaking. All day long everyone commented on how beautiful it was. We feel very lucky to have been able to have our special day at BellaCosa. -

To the BellaCosa Team,
Ivan and I want to thank you for allowing us to have our extra special moments at your venue. I will never forget how you all helped Ivan surprise me with a proposal under that beautiful oak tree. The way everything was orchestrated was absolutely a dream come true.
We will also never forget all the emails exchanged with Sam about our wedding, and her patience with us when we asked a million questions. She’s a gem, never let her go!
We will most certainly never forget the help we received on our wedding week and day. Thank you for going out of your way to help save our wedding. Yes, it did get a little crazy for a moment when the storm hit, but thank goodness we had Chase. He was a trooper and helped SO much. At the end of the day, we had a blast!
Your venue is absolutely beautiful. All of our guests expressed how breathtaking everything was. The splendor of the venue made our guests totally forget what had happened with the storm, haha.
You will all be part of a story that we will tell to our children someday. Thank you for working with us to make our dream wedding come true. You’re the best!

After getting engaged in August, my fiancé and I planned to get married in February which would mean around a 6.5 month engagement period. I knew a venue would be the first thing I would look for. When I found BellaCosa online, my fiancé and I both knew this place was so special. I actually grew up going to camp 5 minutes from there so I was somewhat familiar with the area. We booked a tour and immediately fell in love with the place! Besides it being such a gorgeous venue with a lake view, the team there was amazing to work with! I met Samantha at the tour and was mostly in contact with her throughout the planning period. She was so quick to respond to all my questions and the sweetest person ever!! The venue really has all you need and it's such a gem in Central Florida. If you're considering this venue, please book a tour as you will also fall in love with this place! :) -

We love love love BellaCosa Lakeside and their team! In the planning stages, Becky, Lyttie, Melissa, and Samantha were so helpful and responsive. They were able to answer all our questions and accommodate any requests we had.
On the actual wedding day, Charles was on site and was super helpful with getting us setup and definitely contributed to everything being easy and flowing well for us.
The venue itself is gorgeous and was the perfect place for us to tie the knot. The view of the lake is amazing and the place is so charming that you actually end up saving some money because you don't have to decorate it that much! It really shines all on its own. I love that there are so many options for how you can do the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. On our wedding day, there was about a 40% chance of rain, and while it luckily didn't end up raining, I felt secure in knowing that they had a back up indoor plan and could get that set up pretty fast if needed. I will definitely be taking BellaCosa into consideration for any future events or to recommend to anyone I know who needs a venue. -

Fantastic!
We love BellaCosa! My husband and I have known this venue for a long time, even back when it was Capernaum. The new owners are lovely and what they have done so far to restore the property is so beautiful! We held our baby shower/gender reveal here last month, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!! Such a fantastic place to hold any event or gathering! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! -

I wanted a garden themed wedding and thought this historical estate was the perfect backdrop. We've gotten so many compliments on the venue, most guests saying it was the prettiest wedding they've been to. It was a perfect size for our wedding of about 95 guests and the staff was super friendly and easy to work with. It was also nice to have the upstairs rooms to use rather than making the long drive back to our home after the wedding. Shoutout to Reubin who made sure all of our ceremony and reception furniture was set up perfectly for the day! -

BellaCosa was a dream venue for my 200 person wedding, and intimate rehearsal dinner in October 2021. It has a storied history, and the perfect amount of old Florida charm and elegance. The current owners, Becky + Steve, have done a gorgeous, detailed restoration of the space. Being at BellaCosa feels like you're transported to a different time and place.
The access to Lake Pierce and lakefront lawn are a gorgeous bonus. This is a flexible, plug-and-play space for any sized wedding -- that still manages to feel unique and customizable to your vision.
The on-site lodging is quaint, well maintained and a HUGE bonus for the bride/groom and the lucky folks who are invited to stay on site with them.
BellaCosa's event planning staff is professional, responsive, flexible and all around lovely.
I have no regrets! -

Bellacosa Lakeside is in the middle of major rennovations and will be very beautiful in about 6 months. They are bringing back the elegance of the time period with a fresh look designed with an interior decorator. The backyard lake view is breathtaking. They are expanding the reception space by using pushing the kitchen back to allow more people. We did not feel we could get the 160 people in there comfortably even with the renovations.Bella Cosa's reply:

Everything about this venue was beautiful! I did not hire a day-of coordinator because the venue told me they had one. However, their "day-of coordinator" only supervised the set-up by my bridal party. If you get married here, please save your friends and family and hire a day-of coordinator. The venue's communication could have been better here. They were very unclear about what they would help with on the wedding day. I would have appreciated them being upfront so that I could have avoided some stress on my wedding day. From a bride who has worked for wedding venues and coordinators, the staff at this venue did not seem to care about their role on my wedding day. As someone who has always gone above and beyond to help my brides, it was a disappointment not to have people who did the same for me. -

The grounds of this venue are absolutely gorgeous, but that is about the only thing they have going for them. I have multiple reasons as to why I do not recommend this wedding venue. To start, I booked this venue over a year before my wedding, and spoke with about 10 different staff members during that time frame. The communication and staff turn over is truly awful. I was told different things by multiple different people throughout the process of planning my wedding. Anytime I had a concern or question, the staff came up with excuses or tried to make it seem that things weren’t that big of an issue.
Also, the morning of my wedding they had FOUR different tours with random people walking around as my bridal party was getting ready and my vendors were setting up. When I asked why there were tours during a wedding day, their staff told me that if I did not want tours during my wedding day then I would have had to of told them that ahead of time. I would’ve never thought that having tours on someone’s wedding day was a possibility (considering they couldn’t even see the bridal suite or rooms since we were in them), which is why I did not say anything prior. Their were two instances leading up to my wedding that I tried to tour (both on Mondays) in which I was told I couldn’t tour because their was a wedding, so that does not quite make sense.
We also rented out the rooms for two nights, which was another mess. They say the rooms sleep 34 guests, but don’t clarify that 16 of those guests would be sleeping on pull out couches. We also had an issue with hundreds of dollars being stolen from our rooms. One of our guests had a detailed description of someone that was seen coming down the stairs and then going straight into their staff room during our reception. The venue staff should have no reason to go upstairs to the rooms, especially during our reception when no one was around. When we brought this up to the GM, she said there was no staff member that matched that description that night, even though multiple people saw this person. Per contract, we had the rooms rented until 11am on Sunday morning. However, at 8:45am the cleaning ladies were upstairs asking if the rooms were ready to be cleaned. Another bride and her bridesmaids showed up at 9am for her wedding day, and were confused as to why we were there. The venue overbooks and made it uncomfortable for both groups as we were packing things up while the other wedding party was bringing things in to start their wedding morning.
I could go into much more detail, but then my review would be way too long. Overall, the trouble that comes with this venue is not worth it, which is truly sad because of how beautiful it is. I highly recommend you find somewhere else to have your wedding. -

My fiance and I have been together for 5 years. I have 3 children from a previous marriage and this year we had a couple financial set backs. We had given Bella Cosa over $10,000 for a deposit. We have now given them 8 months notice to cancel the wedding. They won't give us a penny back! Do not book with this venue because God forbid you have an emergency or crisis, they are heartless. Find another place that will work with you.
