Morgan was the photographer for our wedding and was SO much fun to work with. She was always quick to respond, made the process so easy, and was flexible every step of the way. Morgan is wonderful at attending to detail and captured our day perfectly! There is no doubt that photography is her thing. Just look at her work!

Talented and genuine!
120% would hire again! Morgan is the whole package - a talented photographer, extremely professional, and an overall great person! I left Morgan a voicemail 8 days before my wedding letting her know that my photographer had just canceled on me. She called me back that evening (7pm on a Friday) to let me know she was available (she had been booked on that day for the longest time, but the bride had recently postponed her wedding). From our initial conversation, I knew I had found a GEM. She was professional, straightforward, and SO KIND! I knew she was talented from her portfolio online, but was sold on her personality. The day of the wedding was perfect - Morgan and Kaitlyn showed up on time, had a plan for what photos to capture, paid attention to take every opportunity to capture the special moments throughout the day, and integrated themselves so well with the wedding party and family. I felt so comfortable with Morgan and Kaitlyn all day. As if all of that wasn't enough, Morgan sent us beautiful sneak peaks only two days after the wedding and had the entire gallery ready for us to view and download 2 weeks later. I cannot say enough positive things about Behind The Lens Photography! I will be using them again in the future for all of my photography needs.

She’s absolutely amazing!
Morgan is absolutely amazing! She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Her pricing is fair and she was right on time for my wedding. She stayed all day with us to make sure that she captured every minute of our day. My gallery was delivered to me in less than 2 weeks. She is so passionate about photography and it definitely reflects in my pictures. I’ll never use another photographer again!

Awesome team providing the most amazing photos!!
Behind the Lens Photography team is AWESOME! Morgan and her assistant Kaitlyn went above and beyond to capture the most amazing photographs. They have an eye for the surroundings and where to capture the most unique and amazing photos. These ladies made me feel comfortable during the photo session and did great with telling me how to position myself for the most beautiful images. Morgan and her team highly exceeded our expectations. We had 2 wedding ceremonies because of Covid and she was willing to travel to both locations to capture every moment. Her personality is so bubbly and contagious. She will make you feel absolutely stunning on your wedding day. She brought out confidence in me for the photographs and was always willing to take more pictures. Her visions for the photographs are something I never would have thought of. She sees beautiful shots, goes for them and excels!!! Trust me you will not be disappointed with the Behind the Lens team. Wallace Wedding 11.23.19
We got engaged on 2.17.2019, and immediately started planning our big day. We looked around at a few local photographers and put a small deposit down to reserve our date. A few days later, I saw an advertised ad on Facebook to enter a raffle to receive a free wedding package. With the chances being slim to none, I went ahead and entered the raffle. A few days later, the wildest thing happened, as I found out that I was randomly chosen. Immediately I was unsure about what to do, but in my heart we knew that this could be an opportunity of a life time. Right away, Morgan shared her package information with us and we immediately knew that her personality was sweet and sincere. By October, we were traveling to NC for bridal portraits. When we first met Morgan, she welcomed us into her beautiful home where we met her husband and adorable kids. From there, she helped us with the thousand little things we didn’t really know occurred when getting ready as a bride. She took us to a nearby farm for the bridal portraits. When we left that night, we could not stop talking about how lucky we were to have met Morgan. A few moments later she shared our sneak peaks, and a few days later we received our bridal portrait album. Again, I could not believe how quick and responsive she was, on top of doing all of this because I won a raffle.
On the day of my wedding, Morgan and her second shooter Kaitlyn did everything in their will power to make sure our day was perfect. From tracking people down, to get my daughter dressed, they were hands down working harder than anyone at our venue. We left that night, feeling as if we owed them above and beyond for their services.
Now that everything is over, I cannot express to my friends and family enough how much we loved and appreciated our photographers from Behind the Lens. I told my husband, (still awkward that this is real)- I will never use another photographer besides Morgan. I will make every trip to NC just to get our spring time photos, family pictures, or for any other special occasions that require professional photos. She has left a mark on our hearts that’s will be impossible to replace. I not only highly recommend Behind the Lens, but I want people to know that Morgan did our photos out of the goodness of her heart, which makes it so much more sentimental. Morgan is one of a kind, and we are so blessed and thankful to have her on our special day!

Booking Morgan is the best decision you’ll make for your big day.
It’s taken me almost a month to write this review because I have so many positive things to say about Morgan that I couldn’t even organize my thoughts. From our very first call with her, I knew she was the photographer for us. She is so incredibly personable and down to earth, from the moment you first speak to the moment she wraps up photos for your big day. We had the unfortunate task of rescheduling our wedding (less than a week before our original date) due to COVID and Morgan was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, given the situation. I had gotten to know her pretty well and refused to book a new date without first checking to make sure she’d still be available- and BOY am I glad I did. Every bride knows how difficult it is to focus on the small details you’ve spent months and months putting together because there are a million people to greet and thank- Morgan captured every last detail from our small sentimental items to the venue set-up and I was able to look back and enjoy all the things I missed on our big day. She was incredibly attentive to any particular photos we wanted (i.e. first look with dad) and did a phenomenal job facilitating those moments. My husband is not the most comfortable in front of the camera and yet I still tasked her with the big job of capturing candid moments that really displayed our personalities and relationship. She had a way of posing us but snapping photos of the intimate and hilarious moments before and after the pose in order to deliver the most candid and organic photos. Truly, I have relived our big day over and over by constantly revisiting the gallery provided by Morgan. I also have to take a minute to mention that, on a personal note, Morgan has a WONDERFUL personality and amazingly positive vibe about her. I felt comfortable from the moment she walked in the door and honestly our dynamic just vibed and we spent the day laughing, joking, and making the most memorable photos I could’ve asked for. If you’re having photographer commitment issues- just book her. Dont think twice. Don’t bother looking elsewhere. It doesn’t get any better than this wonderful lady and her amazing talent.

This girl is gifted.
Morgan photographed my wedding yesterday and i am sooo thankful that i booked her, she has all ready provided me with a 27 shot sneak peak and the pictures are INCREDIBLE the quality of the pics are beautiful and she has such an eye for placement, lighting, cute ideas, poses etc.. she has been so responsive throughout the whole experiance and was so personable, and polite the day of. So so sooooo pleased that we booked her!

Destination Wedding
Behind the Lens did everything to make our day special and to capture beautiful pictures. We had a destination wedding in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Morgan was so great! Not to mention our pictures are AMAZING. Definitely magazine worthy. Morgan made me feel beautiful and my husband feel handsome. We could not be any happier with her work. Professional and Friendly Photographer
Morgan was absolutely wonderful to work with! She is very easy to talk to, makes you feel so relaxed and confident, and is very responsive to texts and emails. There are several great and affordable photo packages to select from. We decided on a package that included an engagement shoot and a full day of coverage on our wedding day.
Never having had professional photos taken, my husband and I were a little nervous going into our engagement shoot. However, Morgan was so easy-going and helpful, encouraging us along the way and relaxing us with her humor it made the day fun and effortless. She had a great turnaround time on getting us our excellent, edited photos and we were able to use them on the wedding invitations.
Her services at the wedding were amazing! Morgan is always professional and friendly, making great suggestions about shooting locations and poses. She did a great job navigating the strong personalities in the wedding party and making sure that my husband and I were the priority and taken care of. I especially loved the pre-wedding call we all had together to go over the day-of schedule and shots that we really wanted. It made everything so stress-free and wonderful! Not to mention the great pictures we received which we both absolutely love!
