What an amazing wedding day!!

I was often asked if planning a wedding from 1000 miles away was hard. Becky and her team at Becky’s Brides made it meaningful, fun, and joyful from our first communication. I knew right away that Becky was someone I wanted to work with and I was thrilled when my daughter felt the same way. Her true love for her craft, her brides, their families and guests shines through in everything she does. I had complete trust in her recommendations which helped us put together a team of amazing people. Her eye for design and creating special moments is the best. We could not be happier with the wedding day. I highly recommend Becky’s Brides and would work with her again in a minute.

You need her in your life!

Having Becky as my wedding planner was the best choice I could have ever made, and I would recommend her to anyone thinking about having a wedding planner. Whether you are still deciding if you want a wedding planner or who to hire, the answers are yes and Becky’s Brides! Becky was on top of my wedding from the very start. I never worried about a thing, and while being in medical school, that meant more than I could have asked. Not being a Birmingham native, Becky knew to suggest the best venues and vendors. Everyone she recommended did a great job and quickly became close to my heart as the big day approached. Becky was receptive to what I wanted and sometimes even showed me things I never knew I needed! Becky never took a day off and was always there. She was always there, even when I least expected her to be free, late at night and on weekends. While on maternity leave, Kayte was equally as incredible, but I STILL received emails from Becky at that time! She made us feel like she dedicated her time solely to our wedding, even though I knew she was busy with a new baby and other brides. She is always smiling and spreading her joy which made me feel confident about my wedding day. A couple of weeks before my wedding, I asked to change the design, and she did not hesitate to jump on the opportunity and do what was needed to make it happen. On my rehearsal and wedding days, Becky was there to ease my nerves and make sure I was comfortable and enjoying my day. The wedding day plan ran smoothly, everyone was where they were supposed to be, and she made the best day of my life come to fruition. I will forever be grateful for Becky and the team of people with me on that day. Becky felt like my friend and counselor throughout the process. She did more for me than I could have imagined. I cannot stress enough that my wedding day was PERFECT because of Becky!!!!

Best Decision I Ever Made

It has taken me a minute to write this review because it means so much to me. I got engaged about a month before my mom passed unexpectedly. I honestly did not think I was going to be able to get through it, and on top of that covid happened, then I found Becky's Brides. My fiancé, now husband, and I sat down with her once and were instantly hooked. Her know how, experience, and approachable nature made for one of the most enjoyable planning experiences, I've ever had.
I made the silly decision to only have her for the month of coordination. That is my only regret, I should have done the full experience. Becky is worth the investment. I really don't think there is a sweeter person in this business. On top of all that she will make your dream wedding come true. I had lots of ideas for how I wanted things to go, and she kept me grounded in reality while also making everything I wanted happen. I really could go on and on about why you should choose Becky, but let me put it simply. If you want your dream wedding, you'll have to go with Becky's Brides.

I love becky

I could say 1 million good things about our wedding planner, Becky, owner of Becky’s Brides but I’ll start off with this. Right behind choosing my husband, choosing Becky was the best decision I’ve ever made. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. From the moment we started the planning process to the very end was a breeze. Having the connection she provides to the BEST vendors is invaluable. Becky is truly The Best wedding planner in Birmingham, AL. She is so professional and has loads of experience. Every little step of the way she helped tremendously. She has truly found her calling. The services she provides are worth every penny. Even my husband made a point to tell me that our ceremony rehearsal was the smoothest he’s ever seen. Wedding planning doesn’t have to be stressful. Planning with Becky was so much fun I hated to see her go! Her team was also top notch and super helpful all day long.

If you are contemplating getting a wedding planner I can tell you that hiring Becky was the single best decision we made for the wedding! We were able to make our money go much farther as she knew where we could save money, and she is also well known in the wedding industry! There were many things i would have never thought about without her! Becky was extremely dedicated to ensuring my wedding day was exactly how I envisioned it! She was always available whenever I needed her! She made sure that my vision of my wedding day was made true! Leading up the wedding she was on top of everything and was in constant contact! Then when the wedding day came I did not have to worry about a thing! We had several things go wrong and Becky managed to fix many of them without me even knowing! Truly don’t believe I would have made it down the isle without her! Not only is she organized, diligent, and practical but she is truly very kind! Let me tell you, Becky's Brides is the best in the city! When we signed up with her it was like a breath of fresh air. All of our planning stress immediately went away. We hired Becky's Brides as our month-of coordinator because they had wonderful reviews and also had done several weddings at our venue. They delivered on the promises of their 5-star reviews, and I couldn't have imagined a more smoothly run wedding day! We worked with Taylor, who was always very responsive, knowledgeable, and calm. She also gave us a great list of recommended vendors within our budget, which saved us a lot of time and helped us hire vendors we trusted.

When my fiancé (now happily-wedded husband) and I were searching for a wedding planner in the Birmingham area, we could only find 5-star reviews of Becky's Brides--the reviews seemed almost too good to be true. Now, after nearly a year of planning a wedding with Becky, I can assure you that each and every one of those 5-star reviews is spot on! Becky is the absolute best there is. Hands down. She has every quality that you want in a wedding planner--she is organized, diligent, and responsive. She has impeccable style and taste, but lets the bride's personal style shine through in every aspect of the wedding. As a Birmingham transplant, I would have been lost in a sea of Google reviews of photographers, videographers, and caterers without Becky's guidance. HIRE. HER. NOW! Becky is an incredibly organized, detail-oriented, highly experienced wedding planner who will deliver the wedding you've always dreamed of (but BETTER!)...and that's not even half of why you should work with her.

This thoughtful, kind-hearted southern belle is also fiercely dedicated to her brides, wildly passionate about her work, and sweetly assertive when it matters most. She is decisive but not pushy; educates but does not preach; and truly listens to her brides, grooms, and families. Honestly, we interviewed several planners and she was the ONLY one who asked me about my groom, my vision, must-haves and must-not-haves, all during our first conversation!

I planned my entire wedding from Chicago, and Becky worked with me through a hectic work schedule with FaceTime meetings and a few trips down South--during which she managed to schedule vendor meetings, hotel walk-throughs, hair/makeup trials, and engagement photos, and prevented me from having several meltdowns over budgets and timelines.

For 8 months we planned an outdoor wedding with 300 invited guests...and then Hurricane Nate decided to make its way up from the coast. Becky was not phased. She perfected our "Plan B" no more than 36 hours prior to the wedding, and then worked tirelessly for about 36 hours straight with all of our incredible vendors through a tropical storm to create an impeccable weekend and "Plan B" was better than I could have ever imagined. Becky literally covered EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL!

I seriously LOVE this woman with all my heart, and she grew from wedding planner to friend throughout this stress-inducing, emotional process. I could go on forever about how great she was with parents, in-laws, other vendors, the bridal party, dealing with my constant tardiness and knit-picking...but I'll spare you all by just simply saying that she will be the best wedding decision you'll ever make, she's worth every penny (more like priceless), and she will NOT DISAPPOINT!

How do I even put into words how amazing Becky Baker is? Every part of planning and executing my wedding day was perfect because of Becky and the vendors she helped me choose. We had many requests and various styles that we wanted to portray through our wedding and she made sure it was accomplished beautifully. She was wonderful at communicating with us, finishing little odds-and-ends, scheduling and attending vendor meetings, budgeting, tracking RSVPs like a boss, making sure we stayed on schedule, pep-talks, and even helping my parents load their cars at the end of the long day (to name a few). There is no one like Becky!! She is truly one-of-a-kind and one of my all-time favorite people ever! Working with Becky was like working with a best friend who is so supportive, understanding and accommodating. At times, I felt like Becky was inside my mind and could see the wedding day vision and flow as I saw it. Having such a connection with her helped to create a strong sense of trust, which is SO important between bride and planner, and allowed me to always feel at ease knowing she was by my side. When we were first planning our wedding, I egotistically wondered why we should hire a planner. We're two smart, resourceful people. Why can't we just put this together ourselves?

Because putting together a wedding is a full-time job, and it's one of the most stressful things we've ever attempted in our lives. It didn't take long for us to realize we were way, way out of our depth, but Becky and Taylor came to the rescue. We handed them a chaotic mess of "planning" we had done (and I use that word very generously.) They turned it into a beautiful, problem-free day without breaking a sweat.

I have no idea how they did it. If you're thinking you want to put together your own wedding, I encourage you to stop and call Becky's Brides right now. Thanks to them, we'll always have a perfect day to remember, and that is absolutely priceless.

To me, it is not even a question of whether to hire a planner or not. Becky absolutely saved me from any type of negative experience or stress when planning my wedding. From the day I hired her to the exit at the wedding, she was on top of EVERYTHING. All I ever had to do was approve items, and she handled everything else. I had no "theme" or "vision" of what I wanted my wedding to be, but I showed her things that I liked, and somehow she turned those few things into the most perfect wedding I could have ever imagined. She handled all communications with my vendors, she handled any type of issue that would come about (which were very few thanks to her), she was always open and honest, and never tried to push me one direction or another. She was there with so much knowledge and advice that made it all so easy for me and my mother. If I could do over again, I would hire Becky in a heartbeat.

Becky was absolutely amazing throughout our wedding planning process. She was very organized, timely and most of all focused on keeping what was important to us a priority. We didn't want a cookie cutter wedding-so to speak and she was totally supportive of that, which I'm sure wasn't always easy! :) When our wedding weekend came I knew Becky would have everything handled to a T, but her personality and character even blew that out of the water! OMG What can be said about Becky's Brides. First of all, I was really hesitant to get a wedding planner/coordinator. My Mom pushed for one, even if it was only for the month of the wedding. I felt I already did most of the footwork so I didn't need anyone. I can't tell you how hard I would have kicked myself if we didn't have Becky. After our first consultation, my Mom and I both knew she was "the one". She had spunk, she was professional, and she was super easy to get along with. I have no idea if there were problems that occurred on my wedding day. If there were, Becky and her assistant were on it before I even noticed. I've heard some really bad stories of brides and their wedding planner. I'm so fortunate that I'm not one of them. Becky's Brides is worth every penny. EVERY. PENNY. After working a hard 12 months planning my daughter's wedding day with the support of her, family members and friends, a little over a month out I found myself feeling very anxious about what was still left to be done. I did not want to cut corners and let go of the vision she and her fiancé' had for this sacred day. After a little research, I found Becky's website and studied it. I was so impressed by the information on the site that was practical, helpful and so unique from other sites. I knew somebody who knew their stuff had to be behind this creation. After contacting Becky, I received a fast response and my daughter and I were meeting with her personally shortly after. Becky was like Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. She just partnered with us and everything from that moment on flowed beautifully. Becky is personable, attentive, very professional in a sharp but very warm way, classy, knowledgeable and she is a very good communicator. She gave us room to laugh and cry and exceeded any expectation I could have even imagined a wedding planner could provide. Even though I know she is in demand, her schedule always met our needs. We were able to use her package that helps for the last month and day of. She handled business before, during and after the big day. Every detail that was important to us was executed by her perfectly on the wedding day. Whether it was an aesthetic need, a scheduling need, hospitality, logistics, attire, vendors, morale support Becky handled it with precision, grace and success. My daughter and her fiancé enjoyed a perfect ceremony and reception at beautiful Shoal Creek, Alabama. As the Mother of the Bride, Becky was literally my saving grace. She made it possible to have the day that my daughter dreamed of for so long. Becky's assistant was fantastic too. We will always be grateful for the impact Becky had on this once in a lifetime day.

Becky was definitely one of the best decisions I made in this entire wedding planning process. I used Becky as my month of coordinator and she didn't miss a beat, literally contacting me exactly 30 days before our wedding. She was so patient and sweet and dealt with a fairly rambunctious (in a good way) wedding party. We all loved her and she helped make my day perfect. She and Brittany were like my fairy godmothers. I am the MOB!! What an experience. Wedding was August 15, 2015. The only mistake I made was not hiring Becky the second my daughter got engaged. My daughters wedding with 250 people was amazing. I couldn't have done it without Becky.
Hiring Becky was the best thing I did. She is very personable and professional. I can tell you based on my experience take her advice. She is very knowledgeable. Thank goodness she steered me away from a few things I thought I really wanted that would have been such a disappointment for me if she had not. She is extremely efficient and knows so many people in the wedding industry. The best decision I made throughout the entire planning process was to hire Becky! She is absolutely amazing. Working full time the thought of planning a wedding was incredibly daunting, but Becky made the entire process fun and stress free for me and my family. She is professional, responsive, punctual, and incredibly easy to get along with. She always scheduled meetings at a time that was convenient and worked with my schedule. Becky had every detail handled, including ones that would have never crossed my mind. Every vendor she set us up with was amazing and no one disappointed. Becky was on point in every area. There is no way I could have done it without her help. She kept me on target with deadlines and priorities leading up to the big event. I had taken care of the big things- booking vendors ,but it was the details that I needed her help with throughout the final weeks. Last minute additions- not a problem. Becky's got it covered! I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner! I knew she was the perfect wedding planner for me 15 minutes into our first meeting. I had been searching for that perfect person with a great personality, someone I knew would understand what I was looking for and of course take care of everything for me. She had all of them! Throughout my wedding planning process she was a phone call or text away to settle my nerves and answer any question I had. I think she is perfect for any bride. She is absolutely amazing to say the least!

Asking Becky to be my wedding coordinator was the smartest decision I made during the whole wedding planning process. There were so many details that went into the wedding planing process that I didn't even know existed, but Becky made sure every single aspect of our wedding was taken care of. She is extremely helpful and knowledgable and will do whatever is necessary to make sure your day is as perfect as possible! Becky was always kind, professional, considerate, efficient and helpful. Every question we had was always answered and every problem we had always had a solution. I am so grateful for everything she did for us and how wonderfully we were treated. I would highly recommend her for coordinating a wedding of any size!

LOVED LOVED LOVED my wedding planner! She got me the best vendors, was patient and there when I needed her, and even dealt with my in-laws for me! I truly thought that I could plan and execute my daughter's wedding by myself. We had ample time and had already secured the big vendors before hiring Becky. However, it is not the big things that you need help with. It is the million and one small details that she exected flawlessly and to perfection that made her worth every penny. Becky has great experience in managing a budget and tried to keep me on track even as I insisted on spending more. Becky had access to vendors who were seasoned and experienced and pointed us in the right direction without us having to blindly chose a florist or rentals or linens. She got us a block of hotel rooms when there were none to be had during Talledega race weekend. Never occurred to me that a race would impact my ability to secure rooms for us and our out of town guests. Having a buffer between the bride and her mother is also a valuable service that I truly enjoyed from hiring a planner. My daughter and I get along famously but if the wedding planner says have it done by Thurs., then it gets done. Mom had to keep asking over and over and over - you get the picture!!! I live in a different city than the bride and the location where the wedding was held, so having Becky on the ground when I could not was also invaluable. Our wedding turned out FANTASTIC and Becky's assistance and planning was paramount to that result. Lastly, Becky invests heart and soul into your wedding - it is her wedding too. This is not just a business for her, it is a passion. And she knows how to keep a secret. We planned several things unbeknownst to the bride and groom and those came off without a hitch. BEST DECISION EVER!

I cannot say enough good things about Becky! First, she was a HUGE help in convincing my soon-to-be husband that we needed a month of coordinator in the first place (We were planning a wedding from across the country!). After our first meeting, my husband was certain we needed her. Throughout the whole process, Becky was helpful in finding vendors (if we wanted it) and just knowing what to do and when to do it. Our wedding day was perfect, and we know it would not have been without Becky!! She helped everything come together- the big picture and the details. She is able to focus on both aspects of a wedding. I would recommend her to ANYONE planning a wedding or event. Her personality and love for weddings shines through every day. She never made us feel like she was doing a job, I thought of her as a good friend to ask advice to and have our back with vendors (and family). Haha. Anyway, she did a great job. The only thing I would change about my wedding is that we didn't have Becky from the start!!

I am so thankful I had such an awesome friend and wedding planner on my wedding day! As a day we had dreamed of for several years together, we worked together to pull all the details together. She did absolutely everything with professionalism and expertise. As a former planner myself, I did not worry about one thing- I knew she and her assistant would take care of everything! We did not even have to have a rehearsal because I knew she could handle giving everyone the direction they needed before the ceremony. Becky helped me from the beginning till the very end- even loaded up gifts in my parents car after we had left. You will not find anyone else that will give you the personal attention that Becky gives during the planning process and on the wedding day!!

Becky helped make our wedding absolutely perfect. She took care of every detail and worked with me every step of the way to incorporate all the special touches that I wanted to include. I was very excited to begin planning my wedding, but I was also very overwhelmed. I am not a detail-oriented person, and I did not even know where to begin the whole process. Fortunately, my mom and I contacted Becky, and wedding planning went from being scary and daunting to fun and managable. At our initial meeting, Becky laid out a very clear and organized outline and plan for how we should go about planning, and we talked about important things such as our budget, our vendor preferences, etc. She set up all of our meetings, met all of our vendors with us, replied to all of our emails in a timely manner, kept us on task and on our budget, and provided several suggestions and recommendations that were very helpful. In addition to being helpful, she was extremely gracious and dependable. She showed up to every meeting early and was waiting for mom and me with a smile and warm conversation. If you are looking for a planner STOP LOOKING Becky is it. We had a wedding 3hours away in South AL. We had venders coming in from Bham. Becky keep it all going. Coming from the MOB it was the best money sent on the wedding.

Becky Baker is absolutely the best! From a MOB's viewpoint, Becky was so efficient and organized that it made our day a truly special celebration for Claire & Bobby. Becky worked well with all of our vendors and truly cared about every detail of the wedding and reception. Only 2 weeks before the wedding date, our venue fell through but Becky remained gracious and calm and helped in reorganizing to a venue that turned out to be fabulous!!! Becky will have my undying gratitude and unwavering support. I highly recommend getting Becky as your wedding consultant!!!

Becky was an incredible asset to have for our wedding! Not only was she professional, timely, and knowledgeable, but she also truly understands and cares for each bride. She was there each step of the way to help with every little detail. Her passion for her brides is obvious! I couldn't have planned the wedding, much less gotten through the day of, without her. Becky is ready at the drop of a hat to help with any situation (wrinkled wedding gown, flash floods and bad hair-dos). I really can't thank you enough Becky! We initially contacted Becky to provide day of services and wedding coordination. After spending a few minutes with Becky I realized that she had so much more to offer us. Becky's attention to detail continually amazed me. Organization is Becky's strength. At each and every meeting she provided insight and guidance that paved the way for a perfect day. Becky gave us access to outstanding vendors and managed the contracts professionally. The venue we had chosen prior to contracting for Becky's services fell through 3 weeks before the wedding. I am convinced that without Becky's determination the wedding would have had to be postponed. She is a problem solver and so pleasant to work with. I cannot begin to say enough praises for the services she provided to us. We feel like we made a lifelong friend.

Becky's Brides did an incredible job for my wedding! There is no way my wedding could have been all that it was without Becky's expertise and access to amazing vendors and her vast knowledge of the wedding industry. Everything went so incredibly smooth which was such a blessing since my husband and I both come from huge families. She was always very professional and flexible and she remembers everything! Becky was awesome! She was very organized and handled everything. I was under zero stress at the rehearsal or on my wedding day because she took care of making sure the vendors did their part and that the day went smoothly. My mom felt the same way about her and is still raving about how wonderful it was to have her helping us. We had a fairly large wedding, about 200 guests and lots of vendors and everything was perfect and we had a blast. I would definitely recommend Becky's Brides to anyone searching for a wedding planner.

My daughter and I had not planned to use a planner but after about three months of trying to do everything ourselves, we decided to hire Becky. She immediately came in, reviewed contracts, asked a lot of questions and basically made our lives so much better. She was easy to get in touch with, was very professional and lots of fun. The wedding day was stress free because she had done such a great job with planning and was there to handle any minor details that came up. I am a little sad that the wedding is over because I will miss talking to Becky. She is incredible.

Becky is one word "AMAZING"! I changed my wedding venue 6 weeks before my wedding & she came in and handled everything--with a week to spare!! And when I mean she handled everything, I mean, she got me a caterer, florist, baker, tables, & linens (all reputable) within this time. This shows she does not waist any time! She also saved me a lot of money with a few of the vendors--For example she got me a GREAT deal on Chiavari chairs. Another great thing about Becky is she is all about staying within budget... this is very good when you might try to get out of hand with some things (I did this a few times). She is also very personable, which our family loved. Another great thing I loved about Becky was that she was always on time & I was always able to get in contact with her (she always answers her phone & is always returning emails)... This was very important to me. Anyway, as you can see, I would definitely recommend her. Becky is passionate about what she does & when your lucky enough to find someone who is passionate about what they do, it'll show.

There are very few times when you truly feel like you got much more than your money's worth, and I feel like for us this was one of them. From the very beginning, we felt that Becky was 100% invested in our wedding and made a real effort to understand what we wanted. She knew exactly what questions to ask including ones we had never even thought about. The way she took charge and worked with all of our vendors (even saved us money on a few things) to make the whole event come together was impressive. We had a couple of unforeseen issues pop up on the day of (which will happen, believe me) and she handled them like a seasoned veteran. It was hard to believe she hasn't been doing this for decades.

Best descion we made was hiring Becky!

I have been a long time follower of Becky's Brides on instagram anxiously waiting my turn to work with Becky. My mom and I had no idea what we were getting into with wedding planning. I am SO happy we chose to work with Becky!! From the very beginning she knew all the questions to ask in order to create our special day. Her accounting background was also very helpful when sticking to our budget. She knows when to splurge and where to save. Becky also has great connections with the best vendors. I was so relaxed the day of my wedding because I knew Becky had it all under control....and she didn't disappoint!! Thank you Becky for using your gift and helping my mom and I craft the BEST DAY EVER!!! My husband was also very pleased! We wanted a traditional wedding with a modern touch...and thats what we got with the help of Becky's design.

I found the most difficult part of the wedding planning process to be getting in touch with vendors, especially since I work full-time and could only answer calls and meet in person after normal business hours. But Becky was incredibly accommodating and very responsive. She did a wonderful job coordinating vendors and making sure everything got done. The only room for improvement: She could have been more aggressive about handling a particular family member, who went around changing things they shouldn't have. That's probably the hardest part of a wedding planner's job, though!
