I could not have asked for a better teammate! Mariel was the logistic manager to my creative director. We were perfect partners to create a beautiful and seamless day! I loved designing every detail of my wedding and having Mariel there the month before to take all of my hard work and allow me to be present and enjoy mine and my now husband's next chapter. She has such a great attitude and is so friendly and approachable, which made working with her an absolute joy. She listened carefully, offered thoughtful guidance, and handled every detail with professionalism and care. On the wedding day, everything flowed perfectly. I was able to fully relax and enjoy every moment because I knew she had everything under control.

As the mother of the bride, I thought I was going to handle all aspects of the wedding planning and day of events - did we really need help?? Well, after meeting Mariel of Beautiful Day, I realized that there was so much that I hadn't even thought of and we knew right away that we were hiring her! Mariel and her team were amazing to work with, very professional and made everything run smoothly and efficiently! The whole process was extremely organized, she gave honest opinions and knew how to handle a variety of situations. She even accepted and executed the challenge of installing a very large dance floor wrap! Mariel is such a joyful and calm person, delivers on all promises and has found her niche in wedding coordinating! She will be the first person I book for our future family weddings! From the very first meeting to the last dance of the evening, our wedding coordinator went above and beyond to make our daughter’s big day truly unforgettable. Every detail was handled with such care, professionalism, and genuine joy—we felt completely at ease knowing everything was in expert hands.
She seamlessly balanced logistics, vendor coordination, timeline management, and countless behind-the-scenes moments we didn’t even know about—but were SO thankful she did. Her calm demeanor, creative eye, and unwavering positivity kept the entire process stress-free and so much fun!
The day itself was absolutely magical. Everything ran like clockwork, and we were able to be fully present to enjoy every moment because we knew she had it all covered. So many guests commented on how flawless and beautiful everything was—and we owe that to her incredible dedication and talent.

Truly a Beautiful Day!
Using Beautiful Day Weddings to coordinate our wedding was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process! From finalizing vendor decisions to walking down the aisle, Mariel provided amazing direction and support from start to finish. I knew she was a rockstar after watching her keep her cool through my sister’s outdoor rainy day wedding ceremony, and it was great to be able to have her on our team for my own wedding! During our first meeting, she gave a great overview of the type of support she would be able to provide and what working with her over the next several months would look like. She was able to bring her vision and expertise to our venue and always thought of the best questions to ask our venue contact and other vendors. Mariel is a wedding day timeline queen, and she sat with us very patiently and helpfully as we hashed out the best flow for our day. In the last month before the big day, Mariel was consistently available to answer questions and help finalize the details. Once all of our décor was chosen and assembled, she took care of transporting it to our venue and putting things together just the way I had envisioned without me having to worry at all on my wedding day. On the actual day, she seemed to know the answer to every question, and kept things running smoothly even when inevitable little hiccups occurred. Our guests have had nothing but good things to say about our wedding day and so much of that is thanks to Mariel! We truly can’t imagine what our day would have looked like without her and we are so grateful we chose Beautiful Day Weddings! -

Mariel took rain and turned it into sunshine!
I honestly don't know if I can put into words how wonderful Mariel was to work with. Beginning with our first meeting, my daughter and I knew Mariel was the perfect fit. She was just the right balance of sweet and caring, with a dash of let's get this done! She is prompt and organized and full of countless ideas to help make your vision a reality. She guided us through a seamless process with no detail missed, and then it was wedding time. When we arrived for our rehearsal we knew the weather was not looking good for the following day. Mariel walked us through a plan for an outside ceremony as well as one under the large tent our venue offered. My daughter had always dreamed of an outdoor wedding and when we visited the venue she fell in love with the ceremony space in front of a beautiful pond. We kept checking the weather and were all hopeful we would only have a drizzle or that there would be a break in the rain for the ceremony. Mariel was prepared for whatever the day held. She met with our florist, beverage team and DJ so that everyone would be set up for all scenarios. Thankfully, the team decided to move all the florals, music and cocktail hour to the tent, all while still hoping for the slight possibility of a simple outside ceremony if the weather allowed. Mariel met us at our venue the day of the wedding and worked for hours in the rain to make sure everything was perfect. I'm pretty sure at this point as the rain continued to fall most of us thought the wedding would take place under the tent. We went back and forth for hours on what to do, still hopeful the rain would slow down. Mariel was patient and understanding and continued to shuffle and pivot with a smile on her face. Guests were welcomed under the tent to keep them as dry and warm as possible. Did I mention we also had record low temperatures?? We had pushed it to the last second and it was time to make the call. My daughter wanted to go for it. We told Mariel and she said...Let's do it! She worked to move the guests, making sure they had umbrellas, hustled to dry chairs, and lined the bridal party up, in now what was nothing less than a downpour. With rain, umbrellas in hand, and laughter my daughter got to have the outdoor location she had hoped for. It was definitely a memorable moment. Even under these circumstances Mariel worked wonders. All of the guest returned to the tent where Mariel continued to plan with our pastor to conclude some elements of the ceremony that had to be left out due to the weather. I must say this part of the ceremony was my favorite!
A huge thank you to Mariel for making it happen. Our pastor who has done hundreds of weddings said, "Your coordinator is the best I have had the pleasure of working with." As the evening continued, Mariel, who was wet and I am sure cold, never complained and handled the night with joy and and kindness.
I can't begin to imagine what this night would have been like without Mariel steering the ship (a ship would have been helpful!). We truly can't compliment or thank Mariel enough!

Mariel is just simply amazing. not only is she professional, but she is fun too! She saved my sanity for the weeks leading up to the wedding and of course was a God-send for the day of the wedding. She was flexible and cool under pressure and made sure everything was perfect. Not only did she make sure the day was perfect, she has great recommendations of other vendors to use and all together the day could not have gone any better. It was PERFECT! -

Jordan Sent on 07/03/2012My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Mariel as our event planner for our small southern church wedding.Considering the distance with us living in Virginia, Mariel in Charlotte and the wedding in Raleigh she made everything simple. During our event Mariel made sure everyone knew their part and that everything was taken care of promptly. She took all the things I asked for with the decorations and went the extra mile to fill in all the details. Mariel also was able to give great suggestions that really helped with the flow of the reception and the look of the wedding overall. When it was time for the ceremony I walked through the entry and saw everything that I had imagined and more. Mariel is definitely the ultimate events planner. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and friendly person to work with.
