Beatriz and her team were absolutely amazing! I had a destination wedding in Puerto Rico and was planning it from Kansas City. The wedding was 3 months after Hurricane Maria. Beatriz was so good at keeping me up to date with progress in Puerto Rico and communicating with all of our vendors there. I contacted her probably way too often with questions and she was always friendly, available, and able to find an answer. Beatriz was around the whole weekend of the wedding. She was SO on top of everything that I did not have to worry a second about the process of the wedding. All I had to do was get myself to the church in a wedding dress! I could not have asked for a better wedding and it is all thanks to Beatriz's planning. Thank you so much, Beatriz!!!-

Beatriz and her close family team 'are everywhere.' That's part of their main business slogan, 'We are everywhere', and they live by it.
We took our love to El Yunque National Forest, La Coca Falls in PR, and exchanged vows on the Twenty Second of August Two Thousand Seventeen. Celebrating our love with the company of each other, the world was ours. Beatriz was a huge part of our world that day. Her team was flexible, and rather than back off and say what they couldn't do, she used FIO, which stands for Figure It Out. It was just what we needing to make our adventurous day stress free.
For destination weddings of any type, size or location (she climbed up a hill of slippery rocks under a waterfall), this adventure women and her team are a definite choice. You're going to have a fun experience working with a total professional and team.

Working with Beatriz was an absolute pleasure!! She took everything I said I wanted and made it happen.... and far exceeded my expectations while doing so!! The decor, the photos, the band, the extras, all perfect!! Every vendor she chose for us was a match made in heaven. Not to mention she has the sweetest personality and is the perfect amount of assertive when she needs to be. Beatriz was amazing! Our wedding was perfect and it was all thanks to Beatriz and her team. Beatriz helped us with every aspect of our wedding. She gave us fantastic recommendations for all of our vendors. She also helped us get our marriage license, dealt with the reception venue, and ensured everything was worked out with the Church. The day of the wedding was so stress free because Beatriz dealt with everything! We were so happy that we worked with her! -

Beatriz's attention to detail and schedule made my wedding be everything I wanted. Beatriz made sure I was calm the day of my wedding and took care of any small hiccups the day of the event. I never found out of any issues until the day after the event. Everything ran smoothly. I would recommend Beatriz to anyone. -

When we met Beatriz we knew we wanted her to plan and coordinate our wedding ceremony and reception. She has an energy and incredible vibe that motivates everybody around her. We were a very involved couple that wanted every detail sorted out months ahead of time and she took care of everything. She was always available for us when we wanted to meet in person or over the phone. Beatriz took care of the decorations and flower arrangements and everything turned out beautiful! On our wedding day she handled everything like the professional she is and it was perfect from beginning to end. Everything we wanted she delivered and exceeded our expectations. Our wedding was all that we dreamed and much more. We can say that our wedding is the most beautiful wedding we have ever been to!!! -

You cannot go wrong if you choose Beatriz. She planned everything for us too a tee. Our original location had even unexpectedly closed three months before everything happened. Beatriz did not miss a beat. We ended up with everything better in the end. Beatriz and entourage are super helpful at putting you to ease and have the perfect eye for detail!!!! -

Every bride MUST have Beatriz! I can't stop speaking about her and how professional she is. No bride should have a single worry the day of their wedding and Beatriz did that for me. In the beginning of the process she takes you through everything you need. She is supportive of your vision but as a professional with experience she calls out unforeseen obstacles. All of this made for the most perfect day. I really couldn't have asked for anything more. The day of she was in complete control and knew what was going on with all the vendors at all times. She was excellent in following the timeline that we put together. I think she had all the vendors on speed dial, and everyone knew to move on her command. I LOVE HER! Such a fierce, understanding, supportive, and FUN planner! An awesome person altogether. We plan to meet her again on our return to PR because we love her presence.
I am beyond thankful I had her on my team. -

Beatriz is truly amazing. From the moment we first met her 9 months before our wedding to the day of the wedding, she was responsive, friendly, and professional. She was flexible in working with us to create a custom package that worked for us and our budget. Planning a wedding from afar is no easy task and while I decided to book vendors on my own, beginning a month before our wedding, Beatriz was there to tie all loose ends together and deliver a successful event on our wedding day. She was always punctual to our calls and meetings and made sure our needs and expectations were met. The day of our wedding, she kept all of us on schedule and calm, despite a couple issues that came up with a vendor causing us to rearrange things a bit. She reminded us to enjoy the day and I'm convinced that she made the difference in me being able to enjoy it thoroughly, because I knew the execution of it was in her great hands. Beatriz is trustworthy and hiring her was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process!

This lady was very responsible and attentive. She would take care of everything and ease the stress of my shoulders and my mom's. On the wedding rehearsal I felt like a princess to be wed because she made everything special and smooth as can be even with a big wedding party; the fact she brought me a toy crown to use on the rehearsal was something very special, when she told me at the end it was a gift made feel very special.
The day of the event it was just more details from her to me and my family. She went early to the hotel I was getting ready at and talked a little with me and my mom and brought me the bouquet for the wedding, she called me to check how I was doing, send me pictures of the decorations, and then at the wedding everything was so organized it was just a PERFECT WEDDING DAY!!!! -

I can't thank Beatriz enough for the most amazing job she did for us when we renewed our wedding vows. We live in Pennsylvania and completely depended on her for every detail. Great professional and friend!
After a long research, we decided to meet Beatriz to discuss our ideas for the Big day at no cost :D. Even thou we had very specific things we wanted to have, we still had a budget. Also my husband is from Argentina and I am from Puerto Rico, which meant a lot of people!!! Beatriz help us stay in budget and at the same time have the Best Wedding Ever!!! Also the week before my wedding I lost my cousin to Cancer and obviously my family and me weren’t in our best place. Beatriz help us with everything, making that hard time still be the Greatest Day for All US!!!

Luego de semanas intensas buscando una wedding planner, encontré a Beatriz. Tuvimos una primera cita donde le presentamos todas nuestras ideas. (sin costo alguno) Teníamos una lista de cosas especificas que no podían faltar en nuestra boda, pero igual teníamos un presupuesto que no podíamos pasar. Mi esposo es argentino y yo Puertorriqueña, lo que implica muchas personas. Beatriz nos ayudo a mantenernos en presupuesto y a su vez tener la mejor Boda del Año!!! La semana antes de la boda perdí a mi prima hermana quien luchaba contra el cáncer, y obviamente mi familia y yo nos encontrábamos destrozados. Beatriz nos ayudo en todo lo relacionado a la boda, logrando que en un momento tan difícil, no dejara de ser el Mejor día de nuestras vidas!!!

There are so many details that involve coordinating a wedding; even with most of the things available or easily accessible to me, because of my job, hiring Beatriz Collazo Event Planning + Design was the best decision. We needed someone to see EVERYTHING from outside and coordinate every detail, like pieces in a chess game, so that in the end, not only does everything go well, but the BRIDE is happy. La mañana siguente de la Boda recibí diferentes mensajes de los invitados felicitandome por la mejor boda de sus vidas y que todo estuvo perfecto, y el crédito hay que dárselo a Beatriz a y su equipo de trabajo!!! Súper razonables en cuanto a precios, son muy confiables y profesionales, no pedí algo específico para mi ramo, ella sabía los colores y las flores que me gustaban y me preparo el ramo más bello de todos!!! This review is way late!!! Beatriz was amazing! Had our wedding in October 2015. This was a destination wedding for me (my husband is from Puerto Rico). Having Beatriz plan the wedding was like having a friend plan the wedding. She went above and beyond- making the event memorable and beautiful. She walked us through every initial step of the process - obtaining all of the proper paperwork, getting the license, etc. Best of all, she made sure my husband and I enjoyed our wedding. Working with Beatriz was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. We originally wanted day of coordination with some basic decoration, and knew that she'd be great from her initial email that very thoughtfully listened to my wife's design preferences and cool ideas while adding her own flair to them. We had a few in-person meetings with her as we got closer to our date to walk through everything, and were extremely impressed with her thoroughness and organization (careful binders of all of our documents, notes on little considerations). She went above and beyond to make sure we were fully comfortable and excited (e.g., stopped by our tasting), and ran a much needed tight ship at our rehearsal, which led to an incredibly smooth ceremony.
Of course, the results were most important, and Beatriz delivered and then some. Our decorations were exactly what we had discussed and were totally flawless. The ceremony and reception all ran 100% smoothly, including coordination of all vendors that we didn't need to be involved in at all. I don't think anything went wrong, but if it did, she made sure my wife and I didn't know about it so that we could fully enjoy everything. She is very protective of her bride and groom - e.g., after the ceremony, we got to go into a private room by ourselves for a few minutes to reflect and be alone, and we got to enjoy the decorations for 10 minutes before our guests came up.
While she was the utmost professional throughout the entirety of our work together, she also clearly understood that we liked a more personal touch and treated us as friends when appropriate, including being accommodating to our families when needed while making sure they knew when we needed space. It helps that she is super cool.
We'd recommend Beatriz for anyone, but especially a couple that truly appreciates methodical organization to know that everything will be great. We couldn't recommend her more highly! -

Beatriz executed our destination wedding weekend flawlessly. We had to change venues 2 months prior to our wedding date, and within 24 hours she had found us a new location that was even BETTER than our first venue! 2 days before our Welcome Party, cute little nesting turtles threatened our beach location...and once again...within 24 hours, she found us an even BETTER alternative. Of course emergencies come at a cost, but she worked hard to negotiate fair prices for us given the circumstances. She worked REALLY, REALLY hard to make sure we got exactly what we wanted, and our weekend was absolutely perfect, despite all of the hiccups. Beatriz will stay on you if something on your end isn't done, but it's just because she wants to make sure things are done right. :o) I shipped a lot of things to her beforehand, and we had some really unique aspects of our wedding that were new to her, but everything was carried off flawlessly. We had so many of our guests compliment us on how well she ran the show. I could probably type into this box all day. Just know, that if you hire Beatriz you WILL NOT regret it. She will work SO hard for you and your day. I promise. -

My experience with Beatriz was excellent. I do not live on the island [Puerto Rico] and Beatriz's help made it possible for me and my family to enjoy the wedding and reception without worries. Beatriz listened to everything we wanted and worked within my budget. I never felt pressured and we always consulted if something needed to be changed. My mother does live in PR and she was also very available for her and would meet up with her very easily.
For both of us, a Hindu wedding was a new experience and I am grateful for Beatriz's interest in learning about a new culture. It was a beautiful wedding!

Overall our experience working alongside Beatriz Collazo event planning was fabulous and worth every penny! She was always willing to meet with the bride whenever the bride requested meetings. Beatriz was helpful when it came to helping you chose decorations, etc... She was able to provide items she had in her storage and had great ideas when the bride was not sure what to do. Very quickly she was able to learn what types of things the bride liked and didn't like and was very helpful and supportive when it came to making decisions. Same goes for the groom when he wanted specific things for the wedding.
The only thing that bothered me at times was her response time to answering questions through emails and text messages. This bride is a type of person who gives quick responses to emails and messages received and Beatrize (which I found out closer to our wedding) takes several days to respond because she is doing her best to find the answers to all your questions before responding. She does a great job answering questions but be aware, if you're like me and you like quick responses, it may not happen and you may get a little stressed out or angry but that's okay! In the end, her service, team, personality, work ethics, is worth it! She spends countless hours outside of her work time to plan your wedding, making sure everything is to your standards and perfect! She even does very well under a lot of stress! -
