I could not have planned this wedding without Amanda!! We started the wedding process without her and quickly realized we needed some help. As soon as Amanda stepped in everything changed. She is on top of everything. She thinks of every single detail and uses her expertise to give recommendations. She was alongside every decision I had to make and joined any zoom call with vendors to ensure everything went smoothly. She is an extremely responsive communicator and is genuinely so excited to make your day what you want it to be. I don’t know what I would have done without Amanda’s help! Every detail of our wedding was perfect and my husband and I felt so at ease the day of the wedding knowing Amanda and her assistant Meredith were there to make sure everything went as planned. We can not recommend Amanda and Beacon and Berkeley events enough!

What a beautiful wedding day!
As the mother of the groom, I was fortunate to have my now daughter-in-law ask me for my opinions for her wedding and reception. When I met Alexa at our first planning meeting, I knew we were in very capable hands. Her calm, professional demeanor and genuine desire to give Allie and David the wedding they wanted was evident. She got to work quickly, as they only had about 4 months to plan. While we were a bit nervous as to whether this was enough time to plan a large wedding and reception, Alexa assured us that she could handle it.
From the custom color invitations to the joyous reception, she thought of everything. Alexa suggested doing signature cocktails, which David and Allie loved, as the drinks were named for their three dogs. The event was perfect in every way, and I give Alexa and her team the bulk of the credit for ensuring that happened. She was both a calming presence and a joy to work with, making everything easier. I highly recommend Alexa and her team! -

Alexa was an amazing source of support and guidance during our wedding planning process and an absolute dream for day-of coordination. She quickly and confidently answered any questions I had in the months leading up to the wedding and helped me build a smooth schedule around her timeline template. As the big day got closer, it was super helpful to have her in contact with all of my vendors as things were getting finalized, and on the day itself, I was not stressed at all as she handled all vendors and timeline details with grace and care. I can't imagine how frazzled I would've been without her assistance on that day. She not only had me feel more prepared for the day but also more excited for it. Alexa was incredibly helpful and professional during the planning process which gave me full confidence that the day would go off without a hitch, largely because of her (and it was a flawless day!). -

Alexa is a ray of positivity and a creative organizational queen! Our wedding was a dream, thanks to Beacon & Berkeley. If you want a group who can keep you on track, run with your unique ideas, handle any curveball, organize your other vendors, wrangle your wedding party, be your constant hype woman AND give you the wedding of your dreams - B&B is it!! I can't thank Alexa and Amanda enough for our absolutely perfect day. We got married in the heart of crazy Washington D.C. but my husband and I constantly felt at ease knowing we were in such great hands. Communication is key and Alexa was so quick to respond to any question, no matter the time of day. She also made it a big point to always remind us that our wedding day was to celebrate our love and to focus on what made us special as a couple. It was such a fun, enjoyable experience working with Beacon & Berkeley! -

Fabulous wedding with great service from an experienced team!
Amanda and her team are the wedding planners for people who think they can do it themselves but have the good sense to know they probably shouldn't.
As organized, hard working and "on top of it" I believe I am (being a project manager in the advertising industry) nothing could have beat having Amanda provide her professional expertise, her guidance and of course her recommendations for vendors who all delivered above and beyond what I could have ever imagined.
I am a stressed person by nature and I have never been as relaxed as I was on our wedding day - everything was perfect, in line and beyond any expectations. My husband and I had a big-fat Greek wedding in Washington DC for about 300 guests - which means a lot of moving parts.Amanda and her team saved us numerous hours of stress and anxiety by picking fabulous vendors. From wedding invitations to photography, Amanda surrounded us with fantastic professionals.
On the day of our wedding, whether it was one of Amanda's team members holding our "go-bag" all day with extra shoes, lipstick at the ready for me, tissues for my mom, or Amanda herself picking hundreds of dollar bills one by one as they are thrown by the guests over us as we are Greek dancing, the Beacon and Berkeley team did everything I could have ever asked for and everything I did not even think to ask for. To top it off, at the end of the evening, Amanda set up a curling iron across the hall so I could quickly touch up my hair and not miss a single song - it was the epitome of service!
The dancing never stopped, the key events were orchestrated so beautifully, and we can enjoy all the beautiful photos and videos of the day with so many loved ones because of Amanda's recommendation of vendors who all delivered. All our guests still to this day say it was the best wedding they have ever attended. It was a fabulous big fat Greek wedding thanks to the Beacon and Berkeley team! -

That very first meeting with Beacon & Berkeley instilled in me all the confidence in the world that they were going to plan the perfect wedding with the least amount of stress. Little did we know that Covid-19 was going to throw quite the wrench (maybe a sledge hammer) into our plans but, even faced with these unprecedented challenges, thanks to Beacon & Berkeley, and their graceful transitions from plan 1.0 to 2.0... to 3.0... I did have the perfect wedding. I am the luckiest bride to have worked with Amanda and her team at Beacon & Berkeley. They went above and beyond in every way! And now our wedding is over and I miss planning with them. Over 10 out of 10 stars! -

3 plans..1 wedding by Beacon and Berkeley..good thing or this wedding would never happen!
From my first interview with Amanda McCabe I knew she was the planner for my daughter’s wedding...professional,so knowledgeable,
was considerate of our budget and small my daughter’s vision for a perfect day.
With COVID we had 3 tries
May and August 2020...4 Seasons..200 guests— complete re set after cancelling May.
COVID still bad in August..re set..Amanda did it all. Suggested small venues— bride and groom chose Salamander Inn in Virginia! Outside..14 guests and fabulous!
She did a 3rd plan..always right on every detail and to answer our calls.
It was just STUPENDOUS!

Amanda and her team are amazing! Simply put our wedding would not have happened without them. As soon as I mentioned Amanda's name to my other vendors they all said 'Oh we love working with them' - I am a control freak and the Beacon & Berkley ladies put all my concerns to rest and I actually got to enjoy my wedding day.
We had our fair share of wedding day craziness and they were poised and prepared for everything that got thrown at us. This includes getting blood out of my wedding dress five minutes before walking down the isle and a reception venue being underprepared and disorganized.
I do not have the right words to express how wonderful these Women are, but I can promise you, you will not regret choosing Beacon & Berkley. -
