After checking 8 other Venues, when we went to Bayou club we knew it's the right place.
For me the most important was to find not only a beautiful place but a coordinator that won't add stress to my life and won't overcomplicate simple things. We were getting married in 3,5 months so I knew I have to find someone easy to work with. Janina was absolutely amazing. She was so easy going, she had an attitude: no problem, no stress, we got you. I swear, people in other places were panicking when they heard we want to get married in 3 months or they were lecturing us how late we come ( even when they had free dates ). In Bayou there was no problem and no stress.
Planning was a piece of cake and the wedding day was AMAZING ! Everything went better than I could imagine, all guests were impressed with this place, they had so much fun. Food was delicious, drinks were great, most importantly Bayou staff made us feel like they really are happy for us and they did everything to make our day special.
Bayou has nice packages, great prices and absolutely amazing reception room with windows to high ceiling and view on the golf Course. They have 2 big rooms to get ready for bride and groom. We had ceremony outside, they have so many nice spots to take photos afterwards.
If you want smooth planning, gorgeous reception and great staff, you should check Bayou. Highly recommend. -

We found this venue by mistake, but we are glad we did! We went for a tour across the street and accidentally walked into the Bayou Club while a wedding was being set up. Luckily, my fiance and I got to see how beautiful the venue was set up for the wedding, regardless of how awkward I felt!
Katherine let us come in downstairs to her office and she was so kind, down to earth, and understanding. I felt like all of my nerves about my wedding went away. She has communicated with me multiple times a day, every day for months. I feel like I bother her with questions, but she reassures me that it is my day and that I need to be comfortable. Communication is a big thing to me, and she is all gold stars. She is very understanding that life happens. She gives very good recommendations for vendors.
I love the food options. I love that the cake is included and that the open bar that is included isn't going to cost an arm and a leg. They have different packages that are affordable for all different types of couples and families. I love that I have the ability to do my own center pieces and some decor that I want, since I am creative and picky.
I have recommended this venue to all of my friends that are engaged, and actually got a few of them to sign up for it! We are venue buddies :)
I can't wait to get married here!! -

I am so happy we chose the Bayou Club for our wedding on 12/15/18. We toured a few other venues that left us less than impressed. However, from the moment we pulled up to tour the Bayou Club through the end of our wedding night we couldn't have been more pleased. We originally began planning with Erin Bill who was the catering director/event coordinator at the time but a few months before our wedding we received notice that Erin was leaving and Katherine Turner would be taking over as the new catering director. This terrified me thinking of having to catch her up on our vision and worrying that we may not mesh well with her. But, Katherine stepped in as if she had been there from the beginning and really worked with us to make sure we had our dream day. I didn't hire a coordinator so I relied heavily on Katherine to make sure everything was the way we wanted and went as planned and she made it happen and always answered my calls and emails quickly. We went with the Platinum Package and it did not disappoint! While this is their most expensive package, it is still far less expensive than what I've seen from other venues for what is included and has so many options that there really is something for everyone (p.s. it includes a chocolate fountain and your guests will LOVE it). Our friends and family are still raving about how beautiful the wedding was and how great the food and drinks were. There isn't one complaint I have but a million things I loved! I highly, highly recommend this venue! -

Jill Sent on 06/10/2018From the moment I walked in and saw the floor to ceiling windows, I knew the Bayou Club would be the perfect wedding venue! Erin, their event coordinator was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly organized at every pre-wedding meeting and made sure everything went so smoothly with all the vendors the day of the big event! We loved all the options the Bayou Club offered (tablecloth options, napkin colors, chargers, etc.), everything was provided and included! I am still hearing rave reviews on the wedding food which we all know is usually not the case. My absolute favorites were the crab cakes and the prime rib station! This venue not only provides rooms for the separate bridal parties to get ready in but outside and inside ceremony locations (summer weather in Florida is very unpredictable). It gave me a piece of mind knowing I had a back-up option in case the weather turned south. I can honestly say that nothing went wrong the day of my wedding and it was exactly like I had imagine! I fully give credit to Erin and all the other wonderful staff members at the Bayou Club! Thank you from the Thornton's!

Katherine Sent on 02/03/2018Erin and The Bayou Club staff were phenomenal. The venue is naturally pretty with the tall windows overlooking the golf course so if you’re looking for a venue that you don’t need to spend tons of money decorating; this is the one. Our guests raved about how good the food was and they offer several packages to choose from to fit every budget. We almost didn’t check them out during our venue hunt, but I’m so glad we did! As one of our nieces said “this wedding was epic!” and we sincerely have Erin to thank for that!

Charlotte Sent on 11/28/2016I am so glad I booked The Bayou Club, if not for the beautiful views, great food and service and accommodations, but for how great Erin was throughout the entire process. We booked our venue after meeting with Erin about a year before our wedding and I probably emailed her at least once a month (probably more) with questions and recommendations. Erin was always quick and eager to reply back and I greatly appreciate that. She also ran the ceremony rehearsal/ wedding ceremony the day of and made sure everything went smoothly, which was such a relief for me! The reception hall was a perfect size for our wedding (110 guests). I have also received so many compliments about the food and service from the servers and bartenders from our guests. I am so glad with our decision to get married at the Bayou Club, I wouldn't have changed a thing! -

Even though the wedding coordinator at the Bayou Club changed midway between our contract, Erin was great about meeting with us and making sure all the details of our day were perfect! I highly recommend their main ballroom, which has beautiful views of the golf course, a built in dance floor and is close to the bar! We loved the layout of the Bayou Club, and it made the cocktail hour and wedding party introductions go very smoothly. We also got a great deal on our package since we were in the offseason for weddings in Florida. And one of the best things about the Bayou Club is they only do one wedding a day, so you get most of the club to yourself! -

Just held my wedding at the Bayou- was in communications with them for over a year ago when we booked. Katherine was a pleasure to work with, easy going and well informed about weddings, and helped me vastly before and during my day! As a whole the staff are amazing and all worked long days and went the extra mile for me without asking (helped me set up, fix broken things, handle family, handle vendors, etc!)
Our wedding was beautiful, affordable, and had no hiccups. The Bayou was timely, clean, offered delicious brunch which everyone loved, and were very permissive of my needs. I am recommending everyone I know that has events or is engaged to consider this place!
To everyone at the Bayou: you were a blessing to us on a stressful and happy day-Thank you! -

Alessandra Sent on 10/17/2011My wedding went perfectly at the Bayou Club. Ms. Kari Perkey is the event coordinator at the club and she was wonderful. She paid attention to every detail, was able to manage everyone in a courteous manner, and paid very special attention to me, the bride. Some really awesome things that she did included:
- my cake looked very plain and horrible. In order to keep my mother from freaking out. She cut some flowers and decorated the cake with them. It looked 100% better (note: I did not order the cake from her).
- When my sashes for the chairs arrived the day before. She told me they were way to yellow (I had decided last minute to use them and had special tablecloths come from another country, thus I didn't know the exact color to use). She actually drove to Oldsmar to exchange the sashes for a more appropriate color the day of my event so everything would look elegant.
Pretty much Kari was amazing! She pays attention to detail and what you would like. I didn't have to ask her for anything because everything she suggested for my wedding was on cue to what I wanted! One note though is that she is much easier to contact via email.
As for the Bayou Club, it is an amazing venue. You get to have the whole club to yourself, so there is no double booking or sharing a hotel with another wedding (Remember the bathrooms are communal so you will run into other guests from different weddings at hotels and they are so far!). I also want to say the price for the Bayou club is great! I must say that everyone thought we spent a fortune there, but we were on a very limited budget. It is just a classy place! The food was excellent as well! I got the cheapest package and just ordered some extra hot appetizers during the cocktail hour and that was plenty!
I would recommend this place to anyone! It is a very budget friendly place with a great personal setting. The sunsets are gorgeous!!! -

Great value for a beautiful venue!
Katherine was wonderful! She helped us every step of the way making sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. From the start she was very personable, and honest with her recommendations. She didn’t ever tell us to get extra things just so we would spend more money. She let us know when something was important and if we should invest in it. We appreciated how fast she responded to emails! She also helped us set up for our reception the day before my wedding which was a huge help. She made everything easy! We loved the venue and many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. -
