We couldn’t recommend Barbie enough!

Bashes by Barbie coordinated (Satin Slipper’s package), decorated and flowered our wedding. We couldn’t recommend her enough. She was so on top of everything, transparent with us on every detail, and there were a lot of details. She went out of her way to find the right color sashes, the perfect arrangements we wanted for the flowers, and everything she brought to the table was high quality. She had great ideas from her experience, she met our energy as we planned, and on the day of she helped us immensely! She kept everything on track, did a good job staying connected with us, and the behind the scenes hiccups that were out of our control stayed behind the scenes thanks to her hard work. If you’re reading these reviews undecided – we highly recommend calling Barbie and scheduling a meeting. We’re really happy we did, she is amazing, and if we could do it all again it would be with Barbie a hundred times over. Honestly, we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and none of it would’ve been possible without her.

September at the English Inn

Hiring Barbie was one of the best decisions for our wedding day! She understood our vision and made it come to life. She did set up and take down, designed all of the tables and floral decor, and also did our day of coordination. In hindsight, I wish I had hired Barbie to do absolutely everything! She was so on top of it, making sure everything was on time and in place. Honestly, one of the best things to hear on your day, aside from "I do", is "I'll take care of it." And she did. Our day went smoothly and was absolutely beautiful because of the wonderful work that Barbie and her team did.

Barbie was great to work with and went above and beyond. She was there from start to finish and made sure our day ran as smoothly as possible. The day went perfect and she made sure if there were any issues, the bride and groom were not bothered with it. She seriously saved my sole!

Wow, where do I start... First of all, I will say that there was no way that we could have pulled our dream wedding day off without Bashes by Barbie, just no way... Our wedding day was 40 years in the making, no kidding. So with that, my husband and I took three more years for our engagement period. There was a reason for that, if we waited for each other for forty years we wanted to hire the best of the best vendors. We hired the best photographer, we hired the best DJ, we hired the best baker, we hired the best caterer, we hired the best venue for our size of wedding. So naturally, to bring ALL of this together, we knew that we had to hire the best wedding coordinator and decorator.

Our wedding day was very complex, to say the least. Barbie was well equipped to handle every last detail, she brought in a bartender and entire staff to cover EVERYTHING. From setting up and decorating the hall, to flipping the hall and preparing it for dinner and dancing she and her staff did it all! She provided all of the beautiful flowers (and there were a lot of beautiful flowers) to coordinate with the venue management and all of the rest of the vendors, we didn't have to lift a finger or a hand unless we requested another glass of champaign... Sadly, when our night came to an end, she and her crew cleaned up everything, again, we didn't have to lift a finger. We just took in the moment.

With that, Barbie and her crew were always working in the background and yet always there to make sure that we and our guests were having the time of our lives. So you may ask what did Bashes by Barie do to go above and beyond for our special day? Going above and beyond is how she does business! Everything that she does is going above and beyond, she doesn't know how to do mediocre... I would recommend Bashes by Barbie to anyone who is getting married or having a special event.

Barbie and her team were absolutely amazing! I had her do my whole wedding from decor to flowers, to coordinating. If anything went wrong the day of my wedding I have no idea because she made it run soooooo smoothly. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful our hall looked and how well of a job was done by Barbie and her team. One of her assistants Kia was awesome too! Before walking into the reception she made me look flawless! Even some of my last minute requests Barbie made happen. She was well organized and answered any questions I had very timely. I appreciate everything she did for me and would 100% recommend her to any future brides. If you don’t want the stress of planning every little detail and not being able to enjoy the moment. she is your girl!

Barbie was always on top of things and made sure she stayed in contact with the vendors. Barbie is exceptionable at her job and made sure that our special day went smoothly. I am glad we had the pleasure working with her and would recommend Bashes By Barbie, LLC.

Barbie made our wedding day a dream! She is so professional and knows what she is doing. Her floral designs are amazing and our decorations were so beautiful. I am so happy we chose to work with her and would recommend her to anyone that needs help planning or decorating!

Barbie made our wedding day perfect. She knows what she is doing and it shows. Our ceremony and reception had the most beautiful decor and floral arrangements. I am so happy we used her for our big day and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a planner.

Bashes by Barbie was phenomenal! She went above and beyond, delivering our BEAUTIFUL bouquets and boutonnieres for right to us the day of. She even allowed us to add on (at a reasonable time) last minute for the gorgeous flower crowns and hearts for the flower girls! I would highly recommend Barbie to anyone!

Do NOT hesitate for a second to use Bashes by Barbie! Barbie is a floral artist... if there is such a thing! She is very creative in her design.She is not only a pleasant lady to work with, she is reasonably priced, honest and an excellent communicator. She actually returned emails and phone calls!! I live in Clarkston, the wedding was in Grand Rapids and Barbie is located in Lansing.We had absolutely no issues with the miles between us.I had planned to do all the decor myself for my daughter's wedding this past Sept. However it became an overwhelming task for 21 tables and cocktail area of the hall. I had spent over a year searching for vintage and antique crystal items for the centerpieces plus all the mirrors, scatter, candles, etc. I had a vision of simple elegance for each table with as many candles glowing as possible! When I realized that there was no way there would be time to set up each table in the allotted 3 hours the hall gave us, I started calling around 9 months before the wedding trying to find florists/event planners that could take over and use my decor supplies/set up as well as create the floral part of the decor. I left msgs with 5 vendors. Three didn't return calls, one did call but said she would never do a wedding with "outside" decor and wanted everything rented from her. Then Barbie called me. She was so positive and was willing to take on the challenge to put the puzzle together and create what I had envisioned.Except she and her team didn't do that. She took my idea and went beyond whatever I could have imagined!!! I dropped my supplies off a month before the wedding and I felt this overwhelming task lifted off my shoulders b/c I trusted her to create something beautiful for the wedding. I was stunned when I walked into the ballroom.I couldn't believe how absolutely gorgeous and elegant the centerpieces were! When my daughter saw the ballroom, she had tears in her eyes. I immediately txt Barbie to say thank you!

I had a Harry Potter wedding 3 1/2 hours from her headquarters. Not only did Barb answer all my emails within 12 hours she took the time to actually watch some of the movies so she’d have a better idea what I was talking about.
She dealt with all our homemade touches(which was basically everything because they don’t make Harry Potter decorations/favors for not birthday parties) and dealt with my mom stressing about ridiculous things.
Barb went above and beyond for us and our somewhat unconventional wedding and I couldn’t be more thankful she was there to share our day. Without her help I don’t think it would have turned out as amazing as it did.

My daughters wedding went off without a hitch and I owe that all to Barbie and her crew!! Barbie was very receptive to my daughters ideas of what decorations she wanted for the wedding and reception. Barbie went out of her way to find everything she asked for (even peonies in the middle of June) and made sure that everything matched Shelby's vision. She made sure everything ran smoothly and the wedding went off on time and perfectly! As the mother of the bride, I even got to enjoy the day with my family and the guests with absolutely no stress! Even though we hired her for the Save your Soles service and as our florist (she is an amazing floral designer as well!), whenever we had questions or concerns regarding something with the wedding, she was receptive to emails and replied back in a very timely manner. You can't go wrong with Bashes by Barbie for a perfect, stress free wedding!

I could not be more thankful for Barb and all her hard work! The flowers and decor were absolutely beautiful! Everything we discussed turned into everything I wanted for my wedding day.

Barb was so great at checking in and making sure we were always on the same page. The day of my wedding I didn't worry about anything because I knew Barb had it handled. So thankful for all the hard work and amazing attention to detail Barb had for my wedding!

Barb was absolutely amazing! The best decision we made was hiring her for day of coordinating! The day went smoothly and she kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed - even offering to bring us drinks during dinner so we could just sit and relax. The flowers were beyond beautiful, I want to carry my bouquet every day for the rest of my life! Linens, centerpieces, setup - beautiful. She went above and beyond - even picked up napkins the morning of the wedding I had forgotten! I cannot say enough good things about Barb - she made our wedding day absolutely perfect! I will recommend her to everyone I know!

Barb is absolutely fantastic to work with. She is reasonably priced and very organized. I have worked with her on wedding coordinating and decorating with linens and chair covers and much more. She has even made a few cakes for me which were delicious.

Very professional. Very knowledgeable. Prices were reasonable. Customer service was amazing! So glad that there with someone on the day of the wedding to help deal with all of the decisions and any issues that came up. She showed up early and stayed much later than it was expected. Just fantastic service!

It was one of the best decisions to hire Bashes by Barbie to coordinate our wedding, do the flowers, and allow us to rent items for our wedding. My wedding and planning up to the wedding were so stress free, because I knew I could contact Barb with any questions and knew everything would be organized for our wedding day. Barb was absolutely wonderful to work with! She took all of the stress of our wedding day away so we could focus on the actual event and enjoy ourselves. Barb was a fantastic! She was so helpful and accommodating to me and my husband. We had a somewhat unorthodox wedding with video games, board games, and several decor options and not only did she set up everything perfectly, she added her own touches that helped the day to go off without a hitch. I highly recommend her floral, decor and planning services!!

Barb was awesome to work with!! I was in need of a florist last minute and we settled everything over the phone because I am out of state. She was willing to work within my budget and made suggestions to save money for me. I am very happy that I chose bashes by barbie as our florist. Five stars! Highly recommend!!

Barb was an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband and I were from out of the area and she made herself available to meet with us within our busy schedules. She asked so many questions about what I liked and disliked while looking through books with examples of bunches and individual flowers. She even did research about the specific shades of color I mentioned wanting prior to my arrival and did an excellent job getting the flowers to match. I was married at the English Inn and the flowers suited it perfectly. It made it even more enjoyable seeing how much she loves working with flowers. I was blown away when she handed me my bridal bouquet. A picture of it is currently the background of my work computer and I love looking at it. It's very elegant. Everything was made with care and love and it really shows. I'm not huge on greenery and she put a perfect amount it. I cannot thank Barb enough for being on time the day-of and going above and beyond what I thought I was going to receive. Everything she made was beautiful, perfect, and really exactly what I wanted even though I could not put into words during our initial appointment. She knows her stuff and I highly recommend Barb to anyone who needs any sort of floral arrangements.

I highly recommend Bashes by Barb! She is super friendly, organized, and professional. She is always adding to her collection and can do anything you wish. My advice is book her fast because she fills up!

Barb did an absolute fantastic job with everything! She helped with the coordination, flowers and linens for my wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. It rained and was cold during the day and at the last minute, her and her assistants pulled off an amazing "flip of the room", from a ceremony set up to a reception set up within in hour. She rocked it!!!!!

Barb is so great! She asked all of the right questions to make sure she did exactly what I wanted. The prices for her rentals can not be beat. I received SOOOOO many compliments on my bouquet! I also appreciated that she was so laid back and easy to work with! My sister in law is having Barb as her wedding planner and I look forward to working with her again for her wedding!!

I first met Barb at a show in Wacousta. She was very friendly and professional. Months went by until I finally contacted her and Barb actually remembered meeting me. After that we met a couple times as I tried to keep her in loop and share my vision. My wedding had no budget as I didn't want any regrets and it was very important to me that our 80 guests had a memorable experience as much as we did. The ceremony and the wedding both took place at the English Inn in Eaton Rapids. Barb and her assistant arrived at 8:30 am, ceremony was at 6:30pm, and Barb didn’t leave until after the cake was served. She had a long day! However she never showed it! She also did the ceremony rehearsal early in the day for which we had plan A and B if it rained….and it started to sprinkle as the guests were arriving…ugh. On to plan B which got a little crazy but we pulled it off! The evening was magical and I wish I could do that every Saturday.
Barb provided lots a helpful hints and tips during the planning. She also has a selection of décor that we could use at no extra cost. We both have a peeve of wrinkled linens so Barb and her assistant made sure that all the table clothes and over-lays were freshly pressed. The dining room and the lounge looked gorgeous. If you are looking for an event planner I highly suggest Bashes by Barbie. She remained professional throughout the entire experience. I don’t know how she does it but she does. Barb always communicated if there was an extra cost involved and if so how much. Barb if you are reading this know that I value your expertise, experience, honesty, and sincerity. Kerri

I will be honest, and think that I was a fussy bride when it came to my flowers, but Barb threw a TON of great ideas out at me, made me feel comfortable, and made the perfect flowers for my wedding! I would personally recommend her to any bride in the near future!

Barb was fabulous to work with!!Our wedding turned out absolutley beautiful! I live in Kentucky and my wedding was in Michigan which is where she is located. I honestly could not have done it without her. I told her the vision for what we wanted and she made it happen. She was great with everything that had to be done, the flowers and decorations were beautiful. Not only did she take care of everything she was responsible for but she also kept me on track and my stress level down! I could not have asked for a better person to plan my wedding!

I did most of my wedding planning myself but hired barb to come in the month of my wedding to coordinate from the rehearsal through the day of my wedding. She and her assistant were amazing! She handled everything and helped wherever we needed it. It was such a joy having her there.

Barb was fantastic to work with lots of knowledge and experience. She was worth every penny and gave us the opportunity to just enjoy our day. She took care of setup, coordination and tear down. Also, helped us with some of the planning and advising us in making good vendor choices. Our day was perfect and a lot of that was because of Barb.

We didn't run into any issues while using bashes by Barbie, she was great to work with! We used her to rent our cake & cupcake stands and we loved them!

Barb did a great job with helping to plan my wedding. She was there every step of the way and really went the extra mile to make my vision come to life. She even helped to save money with rentals and decorations when I was feeling very overwhelmed. The day turned out perfectly even with a bit of torrential downpour! Everyone had a wonderful time.

Barb was great to work with - I didn't have to lift a finger on my wedding day, it was so stress-free! She did an amazing job coordinating our rehearsal and making an incredible decor-switch for us in NO time between our ceremony and dinner! My jaw dropped when I walked back into the ceremony space and saw how stunning it looked. The flowers and garlands she made for us were unbelievable. We did have some communication difficulties in the early planning process, but the issues were ironed out in a professional manner and we are over all very pleased with her work on our amazing wedding day!

I hired Barb after finding her on Facebook through a Bride page. She was very responsive and in my opinion reasonable with cost. The originally flowers she showed me did not match up to the ones I received. Colors were different and I was disappointed. However, after expressing my concerns she helped ease my fear. She added some additional colored flowers, which helped the arrangements look much better. I had several compliments on the beautiful center pieces, and I personally liked the bouquets the most. The colors, although different than I expected worked perfectly with our bridal party's gowns and tuxedos. Overall, she was very professional, a great communicator, and responsive when I had needs.

Everything about our wedding was beautiful, except our flowers were wilting and dying before we had 1st look pictures done. Other than that, Barb did a nice job!
