We hired Toogie and Katie as a “day of” coordinator, but really they were a month of coordinator. They really helped take a lot of the stress out of planning and answered so many of our logistic questions specific to our venue. Katie did a wonderful job keeping things running smoothly on our wedding day. I even found out later about a few issues with vendors that had come up that Katie handled without me even knowing! That right there is why you should hire BASH. Instead of stressing to fix issues on my wedding day I was blissfully unaware and enjoying every minute! There are so many little things she helped with that I would not even have thought of that really added up to make the day wonderful. I know a coordinator is one of those things people tell you that you can “do yourself” but honestly if you’re spending this much money on your wedding, don’t you want to be able to actually enjoy it? I highly recommend the team at BASH and am so glad we hired them for our wedding!
Also as a side note we had to postpone our original 2020 wedding and BASH was very understanding and easy to work with to postpone which we appreciated very much! They are professional and kind! -

As I was the first person in my family to get married, my mom and I had a lot more questions than answers when we first started out planning our October wedding. We knew we needed help, and had made some of the initial big decisions but didn’t know what to do next, and were trying to plan a wedding in around 8 months. BASH, and Toogie in particular had been highly recommended to us by a couple of friends as a reasonable and excellent coordinating and planning service. We were so happy they were available for our date, and were exactly what we needed—the best decision we made!!
Toogie is down-to-earth, has an impeccable sense of style, is a great listener and helped us put our ideas into motion by coordinating with different vendors. Every time we had a meeting, I would instantly feel calmer and more excited that we were going to pull it all off—and she was immensely helpful during meetings with the florist, venue coordinator, and when my fiancé and mom got together. She listened to all of our ideas and was able to pick out what really mattered to us for our wedding day and find out a way to make it happen. She was readily available to answer my questions and helped to simplify the process when I started to make things more complicated for myself.
Laura took the reins about a month out and had the same positive energy and practical mindset as Toogie, and kept me level-headed when I had a panic a couple of weeks prior and felt like things weren’t going to come together. The day of, she helped make sure my dream of holding the ceremony outside happened, despite the looming rain clouds and mist that started 30 minutes before the ceremony. We got married outside, and yes there was some mist and people were covering their heads – but we got a rainbow too! I don’t know how Laura pulled that off, but man she’s good :)
Nearly 6 months later, and we are still reliving it all. Thank you so much, BASH! Couldn't have done it without you.

I was so impressed with BASH. Toogie was my initial contact when I booked. She was extremely accommodating and flexible and helped me create a list of services unique to my needs. She also went above and beyond--I booked BASH for day-of coordination only, but she reached out multiple times during the planning process to see how things were going and if she could offer any help/advice. For the event itself, I worked with Laura. She's so lovely to work with--put together, dependable, take-charge (yet still so kind). She did a great job wrangling the wedding party, dealing with any last-minute issues, and serving as a liaison between myself and all the vendors. The wedding went SO smoothly, and I think Laura was a huge part of that. I felt virtually zero stress and was able to completely focus on enjoying my wedding day because I knew Laura was in charge--can't thank her enough for that. If you're looking for day-of coordination, I'd absolutely recommend BASH. They will accommodate your specific needs and do everything they can to ensure your wedding is the best day ever. -

Working with BASH was easily the best money we spent on our wedding. They were lovely to work with from the first time we talked. I was definitely a more hands-on bride, and did all of the planning myself. However, we knew that we needed some help on the day of the wedding to coordinate all the details. We got that and way more!
Toogie and Maegen met with us early on to go over the process, and they asked all kinds of helpful questions to guide our planning. They were really good at listening to what we wanted as a couple, and we never felt judged for any of the less traditional decisions we were making. As the date approached, Maegen was extremely helpful. She coordinated directly with our vendors and was very patient with me when I texted her frantically a few days before the wedding about the weather forecast and a strange voicemail from a vendors. She was always very positive, responsive, and encouraging. I felt reassured that whatever happened, she would have a plan for it.
When it came to the actual wedding day, I had no hesitations about turning everything over to her -- she executed all of the details flawlessly and I never once worried about any of it. She had this magical ability to be in the background but pop up exactly when we needed her. Being able to step back and enjoy the day meant so much to us! I would absolutely recommend BASH to anyone planning a wedding. -

Toogie was amazing in every way possible! She is so easy to work with and laid back that there is no stress at all! She made sure to go over every detail in the meetings leading up to our wedding and didn't miss a beat on our wedding day. Everything ran smoothly and kept ahead of schedule, and she even kept my drinks coming from the bar! If you want to have a stress free wedding and enjoy planning you need to hire Toogie and BASH Events!! -

BASH is literally incredible! We weren’t sure if we even wanted to hire a day-of coordinator, but we are so, SO grateful we did. We worked with both Toogie and Maegen leading up to the day of the event, and then Maegen was there on the day of— they helped us create a timeline and feel confident in our plans, and alleviated ALL stressors.
On the day-of, Maegen was literally a godsend! I have no idea if anything went wrong with any various vendors because she was there to take complete care of it. She checked in on us throughout the day and made both my fiancé and I feel completely supported. I literally feel like I would have had an entirely different experience on my wedding day without her there to reassure us, pump us up, and make sure we were eating and hydrating all day. She truly, truly went above and beyond. We are so so so grateful for all that both Toogie and Maegen did for us and we cannot recommend them highly enough!! Both are such kind souls, and are so good at what they do. You will be in good hands :) -

I had the pleasure of working with Toogie and Maegen from Bash for my wedding. Toogie was my main wedding planner and Maegen was my day-of coordinator and you would not find yourself unhappy working with either as they both do amazing work. In addition, they are fabulous people so you also happen to find yourself wanting to make them your new best friends.
Toogie is patient, calm, reassuring, not to mention constantly working to produce your dream wedding. She has an eye for vision and took all my fanciful ideas, disjointed dreams, and turned them into a cohesive look. When racked with indecision, she was always happy to give her opinion on which bridesmaids dresses looked best together and which napkins to go with. She patiently responded to every panicked text at odd hours (when my fiance told me to leave her alone), but she reassured me that was what she was there for. Despite feeling behind in my planning frequently, she assured me we would get it done together. And when feeling overwhelmed with tasks, she picked out my flower girl basket, printed my programs, and even lent me the seating chart her brother made for her wedding. Though she could not attend our wedding, she insisted she would come and see me on my wedding day and stopped by where we were getting ready despite being very busy with another wedding.
Although Toogie could not be there on our wedding day, we were not disappointed because we had Maegen performing our day-of coordination who is equally wonderful. She is kind, cool under pressure, and extremely hard working. We had the most incredible time on our wedding day as Maegen was attending to every detail making things go smoothly. If anything went wrong, we had no idea because Maegen took care of it. She looked out for our every need, including my safety by bringing me my wrist splint and sneakers for the dance floor as I had broken my arm two weeks before dancing!

I don't even know where to begin! Toogie and her team are simply incredible. I hired Bash for day of planning mostly, and partial wedding planning services. Throughout the planning process, if I had any questions at all no matter how big or small, Toogie was always so responsive and helpful. She definitely made me feel at ease throughout the process and helped me with the ins and outs of planning. She was always available through phone, text, or email (I planned my wedding from CA but she would have been available in person as well!), and her warm, kind, approachable and professional demeanor really made all the difference.
Now for the day of! I was stressed to say the least, as any bride usually is, but Toogie and her team took the day and ran with it. Everything was so organized and flowed with ease. I couldn't have pictured my day going any smoother. She knew when to ask me questions or handle it on her own. When I entered the ceremony and reception area, I Was blown away at how beautiful everything looked. My vision came to life.
It started raining after dinner, and Toogie quickly moved to action and had everything brought underneath the tent. And everyone still had a blast! What can I say, she was just on point the whole day.
She was amazing. I would recommend every couple hire a wedding planner, AT LEAST for day of planning, because you want to sit back and enjoy YOUR day, and I couldn't recommend Bash Events more. You won't regret it! THANK YOU TOOGIE! -

Wow...is all I can say! From the moment we arrived for our wedding weekend we had the most amazing experience. Toogie made my husband and I feel totally relaxed about everything. She was professional, kind, hard working, detail-oriented, organized, and just down right on point with everything. It was so wonderful to sit down with Toogie and walk through all of the details that scared me. With a great deal of experience and down to earth personality, she made wedding planning a breeze. I would 10 out of 10 recommend Bash Events for ANY event you have coming up. You will not regret it! Thank you Toogie for making our wedding day the best day of our lives, we are forever grateful for your services! -

I cannot possibly rave more about Toogie! I want to get married again JUST to work with her, seriously. We love her to death, and are so, so, so grateful a friend recommended her. She is the absolute definition of professional and fun excellence, and I cannot imagine doing this all without her! She was our day of coordinator, but was so integral in the wedding planning process. She is so experienced and well-versed in what she does -- particularly with Triangle vendors. She simplified AND made the process of wedding plan FUN for us. The day of went down FREE of drama or nerves -- everything just ran so so smoothly because of her (to my knowledge, at least). I would have paid her a million dollars for what she did for my husband and I and leading up to our big day. We couldn't have done it -- and wouldn't have wanted to do it -- without her. XOXO -

Thao Sent on 06/26/2017Toogie was so wonderful to work with! She was extremely thorough, detailed, and responsive with all my questions. She was also very conscious of our budget, which I really appreciated. We hired her as our day of coordinator so she wasn't involved in every single part of the whole wedding planning process, however Toogie had no trouble at all picking up on everything that needed to happen for our wedding. Any little thing that came up on our wedding day, Toogie was there to take care of it. She handled our rehearsal as well, which we had at our house. Even though it was a packed house of 50 people, Toogie was calm and patient before the actual rehearsal started and then handled everything so that everyone knew exactly what to expect on the wedding day. Her calm, reassuring nature really helped me feel at ease during the planning process. She was technically just our day of coordinator, however Toogie was constantly checking in from the beginning and making sure things were going well with the planning. Even weeks after our wedding was over, Toogie was just as responsive and thorough with my post-wedding questions. Any bride out there who's hesitant about hiring at least a day of coordinator, do it! You will be so relieved to have someone there who you trust to take care of everything, and I highly recommend going with Toogie. I wanted to take care of every part of my wedding and I knew I would have a ton of help from our wedding party and families, however it's just not possible to do everything yourself if you want to actually enjoy your wedding. Toogie will literally offer to give you the shirt off her back (one of my bridesmaids misplaced something which we found in time) and make sure everything goes smoothly on your wedding day. We and our guests had such a blast on our wedding day and I know Toogie was a huge part of making that happen. She did so much more than I asked of her. If you hire her as your full wedding planner, I'm sure she'll be even more amazing! -

Kelly Sent on 05/05/2017Toogie was wonderful! We utilized BASH for day-of-coordination and I seriously couldn't imagine having used anyone else. We had a destination wedding, so much of our consultation took place via email, text, and phone conversation. Even so, I felt that everything was flawless. From rehearsal to our actual wedding day we were stress free thanks to Toogie. We highly recommend BASH for your big day too!
