We had our wedding at The Barn at Gibbet Hill in May 2025. I can honestly say it was the perfect day. The venue is so beautiful on its own, but the venue staff really make for a wonderful experience. Our wedding coordinator made sure our day went without a hitch from our very first planning meeting. We had our ceremony outside that overlooks the grounds. Our guests had plenty of space on the four season porch for cocktail hour. Our guests continue to rave about the food! I can honestly say I wouldn't have changed a thing about our wedding day.

The Barn at Gibbet Hill's location, food, professionalism, and staff were all fantastic. We can't picture what chaos might have ensued if we had booked with a different venue. We had an extremely short engagement, just 113 days, and the Barn was integral to making sure our wedding went smoothly. Special thanks to Katelyn and the rest of the team! Leading up to the wedding, they were available for every question we had big and small--whether it was how to feed one of our guests with extensive life-threatening allergies, how to incorporate a Navy sword into our reception, to how to get Grandmas down onto the lawn--Gibbet Hill was nothing but prompt, attentive, flexible, and professional. On the day of, our venue worked tirelessly behind the scenes to coordinate with our other vendors. Everybody gave extensive compliments to the beauty of the location and how fabulous the food and drink were on our special day. We truly cannot be happier with the Barn. Thank you Gibbet Hill!

Stefani was our wedding coordinator she was awesome we cruised through decision making and she helped when needed. They know how to throw an event you have to trust the process they absolutely know what they are doing. We had the best day everyone was so accommodating to our family and friends and everyone is still raving about the food! I am so glad we had our wedding here it’s something we will both remember forever! Thanks everyone at Gibbet Hill for making it such a memorable event!

This venue is a well-oiled machine. They know exactly what they're doing, and the best thing you can do is just trust them! We had a 220-person wedding on the most popular wedding weekend of the year (October 8), Gibbet Hill had another wedding that same morning, and the night went SO smoothly and we felt special and taken care of. At the end of our ceremony, during our few moments alone, the staff had set out all of the appetizers for us in the wedding suite, and one of each signature cocktail. Bree Oates was our planner and coordinator, and we felt like family by the end. This venue and its professional staff KNOW how to host a wedding, and we're so glad we chose them. Guests are still talking about the event over a month later, reminiscing! Thank you, Gibbet Hill!

We got married almost three months ago on 7/15/22. We could not have asked for a more phenomenal experience with everyone at The Barn at Gibbet Hill. Dierdre was our coordinator and helped us plan throughout the year leading up to our event. We changed our details and numbers many times and things fluctuated, and she meticulously handled each change. She was a pleasure to work with. We had many strong opinions and Dierdre navigated helping us plan with grace and kept everyone calm right up until we walked down the aisle.

Heather was our bridal party attendant and was phenomenal. Everyone kept telling us prior to the wedding that we wouldn't have time to eat during the wedding. Heather made sure that was not the case. Every time we turned around, there was a plate of appetizers or a fresh drink ready for us to taste. How many couples can say they were able to taste everything at their wedding?

The week of our wedding, a number of family members got COVID and were not able to join us. The team helped us accommodate a last-minute videographer as as well as many last minute shuffles to the seating chart and layout. We never worried for a second that everything wasn't going to be handled.

The food was delicious and the venue itself was stunning. We could not feel more grateful to have picked The Barn at Gibbet Hill.

My now-husband had been to a wedding at the Barn at Gibbet Hill years before we met, and loved it so much that he told me early on that's where he wanted to get married. We frequented their restaurant, the Gibbet Hill Grill, for special occasions and the food and service there are both top notch, so it was an easy yes from me. We worked with Bree as our venue coordinator, and she made the process so easy and organized. The Barn provides tons of resources on recommended vendors as well as options for decor, and provides online tools for RSVP management and seating arrangements, which gave us an easy jumping off point for planning the rest of our wedding. For vendors we already had in mind we were free to hire who we wanted, but for other items it was great to have the Barn's resources and experience as a starting point so that we weren't blindly searching through an endless list of potential vendors. Bree met with us a few times during the planning process, and was easy to connect with by email or phone between meetings. When I wanted to do a last-minute signature drink swap, she made it happen quickly and easily. During the wedding, she was always around to keep things moving smoothly and check on us to make sure we had anything we needed. Bree and the other day-of staff always made sure we had a chance to have food and drinks, knew when and where we needed to be, and touched base with us throughout the night. Cocktail hour flew by while we were taking photos, so Bree made sure a plate of apps was brought down to the wedding suite so we could enjoy a few bites before the reception, and left a few snacks for us at our sweetheart table. Even our guests commented on how fun their waitstaff was and how great the service was during the party. The food was outstanding, and the venue itself is so beautiful it barely needed any decorating. We could absolutely not have been happier with how everything went.

I don’t know where to begin to describe how highly I recommend this wedding venue. It is beautiful, the food is amazing, and everything is done professionally. Bree is amazing to work with: she is calm, pleasant, easy to reach, and wholeheartedly aims to please. The Barn is lucky to have her! She organized everything on the wedding day, so we had nothing to think about from beginning until the end (everything we had to take home was organized and arranged within minutes at the end of the evening)! They truly want the bridal family to be catered to - not to worry about anything - just enjoy the wedding day! I was shocked that they completely pulled it off: we enjoyed every minute! Despite our atypical ceremony plan, Bree made it happen exactly as we hoped! The bridal party was taken care of from the minute we arrived throughout the evening. The Barn even has someone checking in on the bride throughout the day and evening, taking care of her every little need! (Even cleaning her wedding gown after it got muddy taking outdoor pictures… this was certainly not something we expected her to do… but it was greatly appreciated)! Our guests have been ranting and raving about the food, drinks, and the beauty of the venue. We are grateful we chose the Barn and recommend it highly! I could not believe how easily the entire planning process went… everyone I know who has planned a wedding has stories about problems with the venue… all I had were positive experiences over and over … no matter what we requested! Bree surpassed all expectations - I hope she reads this!

Almost 4 months since my wedding and it took me all this time to properly put into words just how outstanding our wedding day was. We got married in the midst of the omicron surge - so leading up to the day I felt like we were going to have to cancel. It was gut wrenching. Bree Oates was our event manager and she was the most calming person to work with. She dealt with all of my crazy questions with such professionalism and was so kind. She reassured us that our day would not be affected - and she helped me feel sane. The day of our wedding was seamless. All of the work Bree had put into our wedding day was so perfectly executed by her staff, there were no hiccups - it was PERFECT. We had Jill as our bridal assistant that day - and oh my GOSH - a life saving angel. She was there at every moment we needed anything - she was AMAZING, she even helped clean my wedding dress after it had gotten mud all over it right before introductions. Every bride needs a Jill - She eliminated any stress that day and I am so thankful. Everything was set up beautifully, the food was delicious, and we are still getting compliments 4 months later. If I could do it all over again I would - it was the best day ever. I cannot recommend The Barn at Gibbet Hill enough. Flawless

After visiting a few venues in the area, I'm so, so happy that we chose the Barn at Gibbet Hill. From the start, they were a pleasure to work with. Everyone we worked with there - especially Bree - was friendly and responsive. Our original wedding date was planned to be 3/28/2020. When COVID-19 broke out, Bree helped us navigate rescheduling...twice. Eventually, we settled on 4/2/2022, and the day went off without a hitch!

As the venue and the caterer, the Barn made planning super easy. They laid out a clear and concise schedule of when choices and payments needed to be made. The tasting was excellent (which only served to pump us up for the night for the 2+ years we had to wait for the reception!). The venue itself is beautiful, and the Barn had plenty of other decorations available for rent that only supplemented it. I didn't have the time to put a lot of effort into various decorations, but the Barn did a good job of making the event beautiful nonetheless.

Everyone at the Barn made the event go off so smoothly and effortlessly on my part. We arrived at the venue early for first looks and pictures, and they had separate areas set up for me and my husband so that we really got that first-look experience. When we arrived at cocktail hour, they brought us food and drink separately to make sure we got to eat. The Barn had several staff that checked in on us throughout the night, making sure we had everything we needed and that we stuck to the schedule. When I say it was effortless on my part, I mean it - everything went off without me having to worry about anything! Even at the end of the night, the staff did a great job of packing everything up and making sure we didn't forget anything on our way out.

Overall, our experience at the Barn at Gibbet Hill was amazing. They made planning and executing our wedding incredibly easy and effortless. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to host their event or wedding in the area!

Having our wedding at the Barn at Gibbet Hill was the best decision we made. The support from the staff, professionalism and organization from the venue, excellent timeline, beautiful space (indoors and out), and FANTASTIC food made this the wedding of our dreams. Our families were continually blown away by the ease of working with this venue, we were so happy with its beauty and vibe, and everyone who attended our wedding cannot stop talking about the food! If you love nature and want a wedding that is extremely elegant and yet not at all stuffy, this is your venue. The all-season deck for cocktail hour is an incredible feature and definitely use Stephanie Chubbuck for drapery! (The venue can link you up with her and she does truly beautiful work in that space.)

We have always dreamed of getting married at The Barn, so when the stars aligned we were quick to act, and are SO happy we did! The service was stellar on the day- of, our event planner was very responsive with emails, and the food was (of course) the main event. When they let me know there is no wedding rehearsal on site, I was a bit apprehensive. However, because the day- of coordination was so on point, helpful, and thorough, I soon understood why there was no need for a rehearsal. The day was amazing and I would highly recommend The Barn for your wedding!

We just got married 2 weeks ago at the Barn at Gibbet Hill and I am still reliving every moment! They are so organized and from the first phone call with our coordinator, Stefanie Schott, we felt at ease, taken care of, and did not have to stress about anything. Gibbet Hill runs such a smooth process and we were able to focus on making decisions for our food and drinks (all of which were incredible!). On the day of, we had Stefanie and 2 other coordinators working to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we, the couple, had enough to eat and drink the entire night. All of our guests are still commenting on how amazing the food was and how nice and friendly the staff were. Our cocktail hour food was beyond what any guest had ever experienced. All of our guests are also still raving about the cinnamon sugar apple cider donuts! The barn is so beautiful as it is and we just added a couple of extra decorations to enhance it's beauty. Highly recommend this venue. It is worth every cost and we are so happy with every part of our wedding day.

I am so grateful that we found a venue like Gibbet Hill. Their planning team, staff, location, food, and everything in-between were top notch. So many of our guests came up to us afterwards raving about the amazing and friendly service and we couldn't agree more. They took care of us during all parts of the day, making sure we were hydrated, fed, comfortable, happy, etc. Plus, the venue itself is so beautiful with minimal decor. We also got really lucky and found a field of flowers next to the venue for our sunset photos. Ahhh, there are so many things I could go on and on. 10/10 recommend!

BLOWN AWAY. Our wedding at The Barn at Gibbet Hill was absolutely incredible. We have people two weeks later telling us how it was the best wedding they have ever been to. From the start, working with the barn was so easy. We got a wedding coordinator to pretty much do everything in terms of planning and on the day of we had THREE event managers, plus a bride attendant and full staff. They were so attentive and amazing. You can tell they run a tight ship. Our guests are saying it was the best food, not just wedding food, but the best food they've ever had. It was the most perfect venue for our special day and everything was absolutely amazing. The cows even came out! Highly recommend working with Kat and having your wedding here. I want to experience a wedding here as a guest because it was incredible! I am never going to forget this day and how perfect it was. 10000/10 recommend having your wedding here.

Having my wedding at the Barn was the best decision I made for my wedding day. The second I walked in, I knew it was where I wanted to get married. The views are breathtaking and the barn is beautiful. The food was amazing and the staff on my wedding day were AMAZING. Thank you so much to Sara for all that you did for our wedding day. On the day of my wedding, I was slightly under the weather, and all of my day of management staff went above and beyond to assist myself and my family. Thank you so much for being so accommodating and kind! My husband and I had the best day ever and everything ran so smoothly!

We had our rehearsal dinner here in the private upstairs area on a Friday night from 4-7 pm and it was so great! They have a beautiful fireplace up there and breathtaking scenery. Ashley was unbelievable to work with - she was so responsive and gave great suggestions to make sure we stayed within our scheduled event time. I even dropped off place cards that morning and her team set them up for me based on the diagram I drew up. The food was SO good and the staff was so friendly!

This place is not just the perfect wedding venue it’s so much more ! Everyone there makes sure your day runs smoothly and everything is designed exactly to your liking. My event manager and bridal attend were completely amazing ! I can not say enough good things ! Our wedding was above and beyond our expectations ! Truly magical place ! We gonna go back every year to the restaurant across the street to celebrate our anniversary every year !

There were so many reasons we chose The Barn for our wedding: great food, a gorgeous setting, and a team of people there to help us plan and make our day run smoothly. Along the process, however, the team at The Barn far exceeded our initial, already-high expectations! First off, our wedding coordinator Sara was super helpful in the planning process. She navigated us through all of the small details we wouldn't have thought of on our own, and saved us a lot of stress later on. Even if Sara wasn't in the office when I called with my questions/requests, another member of the Gibbet Hill team was there to help answer our questions and get done what needed to get done. I am very grateful she was there to iron out the last minute details the day before the wedding and help me keep my sanity in the midst of family-induced stress! I was additionally so impressed with how seamlessly our wedding day flowed. No matter what last-minute challenges presented themselves, the Gibbet Hill team got everything taken care of and I felt completely stress-free on our day. We even had a bridal party attendant who did a FABULOUS job helping me and the wedding party navigate the day. Not to mention the food was spectacular. As someone who isn't the biggest fan of salads, their farm pickup salad was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. Many of our wedding guests raved that it was the best wedding they ever attended. We strongly recommend you book The Barn at Gibbet Hill for your wedding!

The food? Amazing. The Barn? Amazing. The staff? Amazing. The booze? Amazing. The views? Amazing. Literally this venue was perfect and we couldn't have been more happy with what we were delivered for this venue. The food was the best wedding food any of our guests had ever had. Where do I start on trying to describe the amazing experience we had having our wedding at Gibbet Hill? If I could give more then 5 stars I would. The staff is simply amazing. They were very easy to work with from the start, super organized, and prompt with responses. They have a detailed recommended vendor list to give you a helpful starting point, and of course amazing decor/scenery to make the venue a classic New England wedding venue.

Deirdre was our initial contact with Gibbet and ended up being our wedding coordinator as well. We worked so well with her because we shared the same detailed oriented, organized way of thinking. She had everything down to the minute planned out which helped us feel better about the timeline of the big day. Deirdre was there for any questions and was super prompt and detailed about all portions of the big day.

The day of the wedding was amazing, literally nothing went wrong and in large part to the staff and Deirdre. They are so professional and make everything as magical as you could imagine for your wedding day. The food was amazing and there was plenty to go round! We had 144 guests which we felt was a great size and helped fill the venue to make it feel full but not overcrowded. Our guests raved all night about the venue and the beauty of it which made us very happy for choosing Gibbet. We had a bridal attendant who was with my wife and I the entire time checking on us making sure we didn't need anything. It was an amazing experience and we felt so well taken care of.

I feel like I couldn't possibly touch on every portion of our wedding day and the planning that went into it but I would say without hesitation if your considering getting married at Gibbet just do it and you will never regret it. We are so very thankful we did and couldn't recommend it enough.

The Process:
The process of planning your wedding can be a huge, daunting task, but everyone we worked with at The Barn at Gibbet Hill made it as easy as possible and put us at ease. From our initial meeting to discuss if The Barn was right for us, down to the moment we left the premises after our reception, the staff was amazingly helpful and wonderful to work with.

There were several planning meetings with our planner, Kathleen, where we worked out all the details and she was always willing to give her advice on things we were unsure of. They set us up in the online tool, AllSeated, to plug in the details of our guests, the floorplan, our guests meals, and it even lets you add notes about food allergies.


The Staff:
Like I mentioned above, Kathleen was a pleasure to work with. We wanted to keep things as simple as we could, and she never pushed us to do more than what we were comfortable with. We also had last minute changes to guests lists and seating arrangements and they were always quick to help and never made us feel bad for what I’m sure was additional work for them.

On the day of the wedding, we had Jodie as the bridal attendant who always made sure I had what I needed and then some. My only regret is that I didn’t get to spend MORE time with her! She helped me with everything, from taking my giant white fur cape from me while we were taking outdoor photos, to grabbing my purse out of the basement while we were eating dinner. I think she knew how concerned we were with making sure all of our guests were having a great time, and she frequently checked in with me to give me the feedback she’d been hearing throughout the day - it really helped to hear it from a neutral third party, rather than guests who feel obligated to tell you things are great when asked by the bride and groom themselves! She was amazing and you should count yourself lucky if you get to work with her on your wedding day, too.

All of the staff at The Barn was wonderful - they made sure we got to try all the apps we’d chosen for our cocktail hour, that we were comfortable, and that our guests were having a great time as well. They took the noted food allergies very seriously (as they should) and put our guests at ease with their willingness to accommodate requests and changes.

The Venue:
We chose The Barn at Gibbet Hill because we had our first date at their restaurant next door, Gibbet Hill Grill. But even more than that, we chose it because we hardly had to do anything to make it what we wanted. The Barn is gorgeous, and while you can certainly add additional decorations, we didn’t. We wanted to keep things simple and the space is so beautiful on its own, we didn’t feel like it needed anything extra.

We chose to have their vintage ladders for our arbor, and our florist laid a large, beautiful eucalyptus runner across the top (which was then placed on our table for dinner). We provided a couple dozen white votive candles to add a little interest, but that was it. They lined our aisle for the ceremony with lovely lanterns, and then those were placed on the tables for dinner (along with the provided votive candles). It was great how many things they were able to repurpose from our ceremony for the reception. The ceremony is held inside the barn, and then they move the guests to the heated deck for cocktail hour while they reset the interior for dinner.

We had our wedding on a cold February day, so the heated deck was the perfect space for our cocktail hour (a little over 50 people). I was personally too warm to spend any amount of time out there, but I’m always running really hot, so that’s not a surprise. Really the only “add on” we did was that we opted to add the white lounge furniture out on the deck, and I’m glad we did - it was used consistently throughout the night by our guests. The space was exactly what we wanted for our wedding day - spacious, beautiful, and full of character. I escaped to one of the loft areas a couple times through the night to take a break from all the hustle and bustle, and it was perfect - I got to take a breather, and I had an amazing view to look down on all the fun being had.

While we didn’t have snow on our wedding day, the grounds were still beautiful with the well-maintained grass (as much as it can be in the dead of winter), rolling hills, pond, and beautiful backdrop of The Barn at the surrounding structures.

The Barn's staff did an incredible job the day of our wedding. Deirdre, our planner, was on top of everything. She kept everyone calm and assured leading up to our ceremony. She listened to and incorporated our unique suggestions about decorations, timing of speeches, pacing of the meal courses, and even helped orchestrate a few surprises with our parents. The waitstaff were incredibly attentive to our guests. We gave them our VIP list ahead of time, and they made sure to take special care of our parents, parties, and close relatives. Our own dedicated waitperson made sure we never lacked a drink, water or otherwise. She made sure we always had food in front of us during the rare moments we had to eat, and she set aside any appetizers and cupcakes we wanted.

The barn itself was beautiful. I simply can't describe how perfect it was for our 175 guests. The balconies were used well during the meal, but people didn't stay up there for the dancing. It was really cool for them to crowd the banisters for the speeches though. It was truly special and we loved every moment of our day at the Barn.

We became interested in potentially using The Barn at Gibbet Hill as our wedding venue first and foremost because of the gorgeous photos that we saw online that had been taken there. We set up a visit about a year before the wedding (we got married in July 2018) and upon arrival and throughout the tour we were in awe of that fact that the landscape and the barn itself were able to exceed our expectations. The place doesn’t really need much decoration because it has so much to offer in and of itself. During our tour and discussion with a member of the sales team, we found many other reasons to fall in love with this venue. They offer an immense amount of help in coordinating your big day, as well as provide you with a list of preferred vendors to make it easy for you to find the people who will make your wedding everything want (and more, really). All of the vendors on the list looked great, and we could not have been happier with the ones we chose. In addition, most of them have worked at Gibbet Hill many times so they are familiar with the layout and the typical timeline of the wedding day. Since many of them often partner with Gibbet Hill, some will also offer you a “preferred venue” discount; anywhere you can save money on a wedding always feels nice. Not only do they make finding outside vendors easy, they cater the wedding with food freshly picked from their farm. The food they make there is delicious (not like lots of wedding food that you hear about) and you are invited to a tasting a few months before the wedding to help you make decisions about what you want on your menu. As for the wedding cake, they give you a credit for a cake made by Montilio’s Bakery. The cake was to die for (we did two tiers of their presidential cake and one of carrot cake) and looked beautiful. All in all, there really isn’t anything we would have changed about our experience here, especially the wonderful staff that made sure everything went smoothly the entire night and were attentive to anything that we needed or questions we had (both before, during and even after the wedding). You will not regret your decision to get married here, but make sure to book early because their days fill up fast!

There are truly no words. The Barn at Gibbet Hill is absolutely amazing. From its scenic views to the staff - they really know what they're doing. If I could relive my reception everyday I would. The staff is so kind and genuinely care about you, your wants, needs, and expectations. The moment my husband and I stepped foot in the door we knew it was the place for us. It rustically romantic and charming. The staff is always available for guidance and assistance and the day of the wedding bend over backwards for you and your guests. Oh, and the food.. it's outstanding. You can even go over to the grill ahead of time to try it out. We are forever grateful that we got to spend our day there. It. Was. Perfect. :)

This venue is truly second to none. Not only is it unbelievably beautiful and the food outstanding, but the service was impeccable.

We had pretty high expectations for our wedding day and Sara Lin exceeded those expectations from the moment we met her. We never once felt uneasy about our plans, she was so incredibly thorough, but not in a pushy or intrusive way. Our day of bridal attendant (whose name is escaping me), was also wonderful. She was like a fairy godmother and would just magically appear to hand us snacks/drinks, really anything we needed. They were so on top of everything and even though they run hundreds of weddings a year, we felt like ours was truly unique and special. The service was unreal!

The food was also some of the best we've ever had. The portions were huge, we had hangar steak and stuffed chicken for options. Everyone loved both. We also had a few dietary restrictions and we had planned to take care of them ourselves, but Sara Lin got in contact with those guests herself and made them meals that were suitable for them. The appetizers were unbelievable and I still get comments on how good they were and how beautifully they were presented. We also got late night snacks of grilled cheese and tacos, which were unreal! The donuts (our dessert) were displayed in such a pretty way and were warm and delicious. Drinks were also delicious, I don't even think I ever went to the bar because our bridal attendant had a new drink as we were taking the last sips.

The barn itself is beautiful with minimal decorations. One of my favorite parts is the heated deck. Since our wedding was in the winter, this was such a cool space to utilize and was stunning with the view! From our first meeting with Kathleen, our wedding planner, we knew we were in good hands. She represented The Barn at Gibbet Hill in an exceptional manner. She was very detail oriented and extremely organized and methodical through the entire planning process through the execution of our rehearsal and wedding day! She should be cloned as a the perfect wedding planner, she left no stone unturned. The Barn at Gibbet Hill was everything we dreamed of and more for our special day. It has the most perfect setting with all the details to make weddings extra special. We can't say enough about the staff there as well, everybody assigned to our wedding was so accommodating and personable seeing that our every need was met. We had a spring wedding here and the overall experience was absolutely incredible. Sara, our wedding planner was extremely responsive to emails and very helpful throughout the planning process. The staff the evening of our wedding was so kind and helpful. Our family and friends are still raving about how impressed they were with the venue and how delicious the food was. Prior to our wedding day the forecast was calling for rain. As disappointed as we were that we couldn’t have our ceremony outside, the staff did such a wonderful job of creating a beautiful ceremony indoors. At the end of the night- we wouldn’t have changed a thing and loved the ceremony inside!

Simply the best! I cannot say enough amazing things about The Barn at Gibbet Hill. From the planning to the day of delivery, everything was perfection. This venue is about as turnkey as you can get for a wedding. We just had to bring in flowers and a DJ! Everything else is included with the venue. If you haven't been to the restaurant, check that out first! The food is beyond good and all of my guests were blown away because usually wedding food is meh. Our wedding was on March 30 and we were able to enjoy the heated deck for our cocktail hour. It was nice and warm and allowed for us to have two areas for the wedding. The beverage menu is actually really upscale too...much more than the basics! Signature drinks were delicious too. Overall the Barn is very classy, well run and a great value for the money in my opinion. I hope to attend other events The Barn in the future, can't wait to go back!!!!

We absolutely loved this venue from the minute we walked in the door. It is gorgeous with rustic beams, beautiful chandeliers, and flowing hills. We had a February wedding, so everything was indoors. They have clear covers on the patio during the winter, so you still get to enjoy the outdoor space. Everything turned out beautifully. We worked with Deirdre Gonsalves, the wedding coordinator/sales director. We thought she was THE BEST. She was prompt, responsive, professional, thorough, and to the point. She made sure everything went smoothly, and my husband and I didn’t worry about a thing. There was minimal stress when it came to planning with this venue. The food & drinks were AMAZING, and it’s one of the reasons we booked this venue. We also loved having dinner at Gibbet Hill Grill following any of the on site meetings :). We definitely recommend this wedding venue!!!!

The only reason The Barn at Gibbet Hill is getting five stars, is because six is not an option. Beyond the Venue, which is by far the most beautiful in the area. Beyond the Food, which consistently impresses with flavor and visual appeal. They were hands down the most professional, accommodating and thoughtful bunch of people we have ever come into contact with. Too many names could be listed here. Our Wedding Coordinator, Sara Lin McCay, was wonderful. She was confident and innovative. Her direction and design were flawless. Our Bridal Attendant was sensational. She made us both feel like we were the most important people on the planet, for five straight hours. She was selflessly thoughtful and we could never thank her enough.

Simply put. We felt nothing less than royalty. They were amazing!

My husband and I were BLOWN AWAY by the attentiveness of the Gibbet Hill's staff. Andrea, Jill and Deirdre catered to our every need, and our guests every need. My father-in-law has ulcertive colitis, so he's severely limited in what he can eat. The Barn not only accommodated for his dietary needs, but they made sure to continue to check on him throughout the night to ensure he was satisfied. The Barn makes getting married and planning for a ceremony & reception EASY. They truly do it ALL for you. As the bride, I didn't have to worry about a thing. I didn't once have to think if everyone was in the right place at the right time, when we should cut the cake, etc. Everything was taken care of us by our amazing event staff, Andrea, Deirdre and Jill. My son was married on April 2 at the Barn at Gibbet Hill. The staff is exceptional. The food was outstanding and served absolutely piping hot. Our guests commented this was the best wedding venue they had ever been to.

The team at The Barn is THE BEST! The killed it with our wedding day - making everything seamless, beautiful and perfect. All of our guests fell in love with the venue and decided they wanted us to do an annual wedding there :P Such a gem in Groton.

My wedding at Gibbet Hill was back in November... and it was everything I could have ever hoped it to possibly be. My coordinator Sara was professional, flexible and so helpful leading up to and also, the day of! As far as I know, everything went off without a hitch... if there had been any type of flaw, it was handled without me even knowing. The entire day was carefree and beautiful.

Oh my gosh, where to start! Deirdre and her team at GH made our wedding day beyond perfect! Not only did Deirdre align with me daily regarding every single detail she also answered every single question I sent her way. The Barn was absolutely gorgeous for our Friday the 13th wedding and we cannot thank her and the staff there enough.

The Barn at Gibbet Hill was the absolute perfect place for our December 2016 wedding. We chose Gibbet Hill for the beautiful barn and delicious food, it was even better on our wedding day! Our guests have been raving about the beautiful space, delicious food and overall event!

Sara made the planning process easy, she was responsive, provided great insights/feedback and helped make sure our day was everything we wanted it to be, even helping to secure a last minute coat check when I changed my mind that week! On the day of, the staff at Gibbet Hill made sure every detail was taken care of, Jodi (who was wonderful) checked in on me and brought me some apps when I didn't have a chance to eat. Sara and Angela kept every little detail of the event flowing perfectly. Then at the end of the night, the staff helped pack up everything. They truly made the whole process a wonderful experience!

This is one of the most beautiful wedding venues I have ever seen. It was perfect for our December 2016 wedding! The barn is absolutely beautiful inside and photographs really well. The scenery can't be beat, even in winter.

While they do a lot of weddings they still take the time to work with couples individually and really make each and every wedding feel important and unique. The day of the wedding they take care of everything, which really helps to alleviate stress. The Deirdre was our event planner and she was thorough and patient throughout the entire process. She was amazing to work with and was able to anticipate questions/problems and answer then with ease. Having her during the planning process and day of was invaluable.

The best part of wedding at Gibbet Hill is the food! Our guests have been raving about everything they ate. The short ribs are amazing! They also have an interesting format for the pre-wedding tasting. They have a group tasting event. The benefit of this is that couples have a chance to see how events are set up and run for weddings. You get a preview of decor, food, and event "flow". This was helpful when it came time to make decisions for our own wedding.

We had the wedding of our dreams at Gibbet Hill. They were so accommodating and attentive to details. The barn was beautiful and clean. The grounds were well kept for our outside weddings. All of the food allergies were well tended to. Food was amazing!!! The day was flawless and they made the day run very smoothly!

Go meet them in person and tell them what you want--they'll cater to any way you want your day to shape up and won't try to nickel and dime you. Also consider a daytime reception. The minimum costs are much lower and they throw in a bunch of extras (centerpieces, runners, games, table numbers, etc.) for free. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Grill on site as well. Rental fee was waived because our reception was at the barn and they opened early just for our party.

My wife and I held our rehearsal dinner at Gibbet Hill in Oct 2016. We live in Cambridge and didn't know the area very well so we did a lot of research and Gibbet Hill was one of the top 2-3 venues we found online, and definitely lived up to expectations. We had just over 20 people in their upstairs space, which was perfectly sized for mingling and a cocktail hour, as well as two long tables for dinner. The space is rustic, very handsome, and nicely appointed, we didn't feel the need to decorate at all.

The food was exceptional too, we had been to eat previously and it was real good, but the food at the rehearsal was exquisite. The seasonal soup in particular was noteworthy to me and the mains were also delicious. Service was solid and everyone had plenty of drinks and food. There were multiple comments about how great the food was from guests.

We scheduled and coordinated with Ashley, who was very easy to work with. We had a lot of other vendors who were total flakes that caused us much anxiety, but Ashley and Gibbet were fantastic partners. 5 out of 5, which really can't be underestimated imo.

Bottom line: Gibbet Hill is excellent. If it's on your list and you're considering, it save yourself some time and just book it.

We mostly worked with Deirdre to fine tune our wedding budget. Deirdre was efficient and professional, and truly a pleasure to work with. Since we were on a tighter budget, we did a Saturday morning wedding, which we did not regret as the minimum spend was much lower than Saturday evening wedding. Deirdre never showed any less respect for us doing a morning rather than evening wedding. On the wedding day, everyone in the wedding coordinating team worked together to make sure our wedding went as smoothly as possible, we truly appreciate the team work exhibited by the Gibbet Hill Team. The wedding ceremony and reception went as smoothly as one could ask, and we truly enjoyed every second of it! Thank you Kim for making sure I ate! The Barn was so well maintained and photogenic, we truly picked the right place for our wedding. We can't wait to go back to the Gibbet Hill restaurant to enjoy our complimentary anniversary dinner!

Where do I begin! The barn at Gibbet hill had us hooked the minute we walked in. It has beautiful rustic charm and is beautiful inside and out. The staff is absolutely phenomenal. We worked with Deirdre and she was absolutely amazing! She was so on top of everything and helped us organize every tiny detail the days leading up to our wedding. The day of the wedding Deirdre and her team had the place going like a well oiled machine. We had our own server Emily who was lovely and made sure we actually sat down to eat all of the amazingly delicious food. All of our guests were raving about the food and the service the barn provided. And to top it all off, it is the most gorgeous setting. I can't say enough about this place and the staff here. If you can afford to get married here, do it! You will not regret it!

I can't say enough good things about this place. Sara Lin went out of her way to make my day perfect, even sowing the back of my dress when the hook broke. All of the staff were so professional and helpful. The food was amazing, and of course the scenery was gorgeous. I wish I could relive the day over and over!

Our daughter's wedding was held at The Barn on Father's Day weekend. We had booked it back in August 2014. The staff and the venue itself are outstanding. Every aspect of the planning and the wedding itself exceeded our expectations. Our experience with Sara Z, who was our very first contact at The Barn and who handled our wedding including being on site the day of. Sara was responsive, smart and so pleasant !!!!! The planning process was so easy using all the tools she creates for you, you cannot help but be organized. The entire staff, specifically Sandra and Stefanie, who took care of us personal, the day of the wedding. Sandra was so awesome at the end of the night I told her I wanted to take her home and just gave her the biggest hug and she hugged right back, what a sweetheart to have next to you on such an important day, this was my first wedding and I was very happy to have Sandra with me :). Stefanie, took care of our bride, also named Stephanie! Very professional, pleasant and warm. They are really in the right business. The wait staff and house staff, were really personable lovely people who did a great job They received a lot of compliments from our guests, and I have to agree, they were so on top of things and just so happy to be there ! This staff is doing what they love, they do not appear as though they are working. Even at the end of the night helping us load the buses, they were all smiling and happy !!! Just outstanding, exceeded our expectations, from the food, the drinks, to the venue, to the staff. I cannot express my gratitude and the exceptional experience enough. My heart was so light and so happy the next day, I felt like it would leap out of my chest! The Barn was the only venue our daughter and her husband wanted to look at in person, and we signed the day we went! Best decision we ever made. The barn was great to deal with for our wedding. We loved the venue and luckily were able to fit them into our budget by booking a Sunday wedding at the very end of their off season. For us it was totally worth it to get a venue we loved. Our wedding planner helped us plan everything out, which was especially helpful since we moved across the country halfway through our engagement. They even helped up schedule a tasting for a date we were in town, which was very helpful so we didn't have to spend extra to come in another weekend. Their package was very reasonable, considering the appetizers, tables, chairs, linens, and 4 course meal were all included. They also included the wedding cake! The only things we had to pay extra for were the additional hour for the ceremony (we had a Jewish ceremony on site, and they were very accommodating of the Chuppah we brought early) and of course alcohol. And the food was amazing, including all of the appetizers. All of our guests would not stop raving about the food and how great the venue was, so we could not be happier with how it turned out at the barn!

I recently had my wedding at the Barn at Gibbett Hill on 2.20.16. We could not have been happier with our decision, we absolutely loved having our wedding there and wouldn't have changed a thing! The Barn at Gibbet Hill is a great location to host a wedding! My wife and I had our wedding there in early October, and looking back it was a great decision. They handle everything well and worked with us step by step throughout the entire wedding planning process, making it as easy as it can be.

We had THE BEST wedding! So many of our guests told us that our wedding was the best they had ever been to. The Barn is gorgeous and the food is amazing. Everything was perfect. The Barn was exactly what we were looking for in a venue. Sarah Z was awesome in helping us plan the event. They were very accommodating with everything that we wanted. The food was AMAZING. My husband and I fell in love with Gibbet Hill as soon as we walked in and had the most amazing experience with them. Julie was extremely helpful throughout all of our planning. We did have a little confusion at the beginning of who we were going to be working with, but we lucked out working with Julie. She made everything so seamless and was able to help us even when we forgot to take into account a whole table of guests! She was very flexible and worked with us to make the wedding of our dreams. We were able to customize a small plates menu that was very unique to us and was a great mixture of what we pictured and what worked best for our guests, with lots of options and the ability for people to try a little bit of everything. Being in the beginning of April, we had to make a last minute decision about having the ceremony inside or outside, but Julie was great when I called her the morning of our wedding and asked if we could do the ceremony outside. They even moved the chairs back last minute since the ground was still a little muddy the farther you went out. The food was absolutely amazing and all of our guests told us how much they enjoyed it. We also loved the bakery we worked with for our cake (Konditor Meister), which came with our wedding package. The cake was delicious and we couldn't get over how beautiful the design was. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better venue for our ceremony and reception.

Our event planner was Sarah and she was awesome. Everything and anything that we needed we got. It was all about us and we where able to make our own menu for our wedding. Can not say enough about the venue and the people. Also we felt like a king and a queen on our special day. The views outside are also fabulous for pictures.

My husband and I had our cocktail and dinner reception at The Barn at Gibbet Hill. Gibbet Hill was more than accommodating throughout the planning process. They were detailed oriented and Carolyn (our wedding coordinator) was extremely helpful. They had many options for extras for our wedding such as cider donut station, hot cocoa station, favors from local vendors (honey or jam), lighting, and centerpieces. They accommodated our 142 guests and even allowed us to add in a few last minute guests with no problem. We had our cocktail reception on their heated deck outside. The food was delicious. Our guests raved about the venue and its beauty. We cannot say enough about Gibbet Hill!

Perfection. While yes, it was my own wedding, I could not believe how beautiful this venue looked or the quality of service that we received from the Gibbet Hill team. We were truly blessed to work with Deirdre, who was an absolute dream as an event coordinator. I received many comments from guests on how calm I appeared on my wedding day; this was 100% because of Deirdre. I KNEW that with the time, thought, and care Deirdre had put in leading up to our wedding that we would have exactly what we envisioned (and we did, and then some). Gibbet Hill is, hands down, the ideal location for a New England style wedding. We had our reception there on August 2nd, and we were just wowed by the entire experience. From day one, the staff at Gibbet Hill was amazing. When we were "shopping" for venues, they showed us around the venue and answered any and all questions prior to booking. We worked specifically with Carolyn Hilton, and she was amazing. During all of our meetings with her, Carolyn was very efficient, leaving no detail untouched. At the same time, she was very easy going, allowing us to incorporate all of our own personal details and touches. She was also flexible throughout the entire process, accommodating all of our requests. On the day of, the venue and the staff exceeded our expectations. We were running a bit late, and they got us back on track with our timeline, without ever making us feel rushed. The staff consistently checked in with our parents throughout the night to make sure everything was meeting our expectations, etc. Not to mention, the venue itself as well as the setting are absolutely beautiful. We cannot stop raving about our day there and would highly recommend using the Barn at Gibbet Hill for your wedding!

Gibbet Hill was a beautiful place to get married. The staff was wonderful, accommodating, and always friendly. They helped us with our unconventional head table, they worked with us in creating seating arrangements so everyone would be happy. They went above in beyond in setting up a photo booth, a candy bar, favors, and granting access to other vendors.

People STILL comment on how amazing the food was at our wedding. Going back for our first anniversary, I wholeheartedly agree (I barely ate on the day of). A cake was included in our package (which I again...I didn't eat!) but everyone told us how amazing that was!

I loved everything about getting married at Gibbet Hill. It's certainly pricier than other options in teh area, but worth every single penny.

We had my daughter's Bat Mitzvah luncheon at Gibbet Hill GRILL (not the Barn). It was a great experience working with Ashley and later with Lisa to get ready for the day. I really appreciated their professionalism and dedication to doing things right and to helping make the day extra special, even as my guest list grew and grew! All of our guests commented on how lovely the restaurant is, how great the food was and how wonderful the staff is. I am really glad that we chose this restaurant for my daughter's big day. It was unique and special and the staff went above and beyond for our family in the preparations, set up and execution. The food is top-notch (the jumbo shrimp! the steak tips!) and everyone is eager to please. A++ all around!! TIP: Anyone planning an event should be aware that the Grill is only available for 3-4 hours on Saturday afternoons, so this may not work for everyone. At times, it seemed that GH was stressed that our luncheon might run over (they may have had problems in the past). I tried to be very careful to do my part to ensure that our luncheon ended on time, which I think was appreciated. The day of, there were some slight delays in getting out the passed appetizers and in starting our salad course, but I do not think that it was really noticeable and we ended right on time!

We had our wedding at The Barn at Gibbet Hill and could not have asked for a more perfect venue! We received so many complements on how beautiful the place looked, how good the food was, and how professional the wait staff was. We really can't imagine having had our wedding at any other place.

We saw the place for the first time on a rainy, dark night last year....and we secured our date days later. We just knew walking in there....that it couldn't be beat.

We have received compliment after compliment about our choice in venue...which also includes the food (farm to table through Gibbet Hill), and wedding coordinator (we had Sara....who was INCREDIBLE).

We can't wait to see our pictures....as we have no doubt that this perfect venue will make for amazing, lasting photographic memories.

As a side...we had 135 adult guests...and 11 of our nieces and nephews involved in the ceremony - not only was the space ample...but they also helped to coordinate toddler chaos, and it went off without a hitch.

When you walk into the Barn it is absolutely gorgeous! We worked with Deirdre and she was just spectacular! From the food, to the décor, to the organization everything was perfect and that was because of Deirdre. She always responded quickly if I ever had any questions and she was always extremely accommodating when we would come out to Groton for our meetings. Walking into the Barn on my wedding day and seeing Deirdre put me at ease knowing that everything was going to go as planned, and it did! It was such a wonderful day and we owe a lot of that to Deirdre and the staff at the Barn! I will continue to highly recommend the Barn at Gibbet Hill!

We absolutely loved this site! The place is beautiful, the food is fantastic, and the staff are very professional. So many of our guests commented on the high quality food and service. Carolyn, the event coordinator was exceptional and her experience really came through - she thought of everything! We had our ceremony and reception at the Barn and they were very flexible and responsive when we were planning. We had to move our ceremony inside because of rain and while Carolyn gave us advice, she allowed us to make the final call. The staff very quickly reset the Barn for the reception and we couldn't have been happier.

We are so happy that we chose the Barn at Gibbet Hill for our April wedding. The space itself was gorgeous, and the food was phenomenal--we knew when all of our other vendors raved about the food that it would be good, but many of our guests said that it was the best wedding food they've ever tasted. Our coordinator, Kathleen, was super responsive and accommodating with all of our questions and last-minute requests, and as a bride who was admittedly pretty clueless about everything that needed to go into planning a wedding, I really appreciated how Kathleen made sure that nothing fell through the cracks throughout the planning process. The entire team staffing our wedding was amazing. Jill, our bridal attendant, made us feel so well taken care of all night, checking in to see if we needed a fresh drink and saving hors d'oeuvres and cake for us in case we didn't have time to grab it ourselves. We can't recommend this venue highly enough!

There's not a negative thing I can say about my experience with Gibbet Hill. They were extermely organized and professional thoughout the planning process and the actual event went without a hitch. I really felt like I was bale to enjoy and be present for the wedding without having to worry about any of the details. Our coordinator, Deirdre, was amazing and did a fantastic job. The venue is beautiful and their attention to detail added class and charm to the event in a hundred little ways.

love, love, love, love, loved working Sara @ the Barn at Gibbet Hill. the venue, food, atmosphere was perfect and the staff really went out of thier way to manage our special requests, last minute changes, and make our day perfect. It can be expensive to host a wedding here, but the staff and venue will not dissapoint.

A few things that come to mind when I think of Gibbet Hill!
From the minute I was engaged I knew this was the place where our wedding was going to take place. We just had to fit it in our budget.
Meeting with Deirdre - she made that dream happen.
She was perfect in every way a wedding coordinator should be. She answered every question (with the many we had), she responded within 24 hours... usually less!, she helped us fit ALL of our ideas into REALITY!
It was a perfect dream that came together at the perfect venue.

On a side note... my hubby & I are such foodies and were dying for a great wedding menu. Our menu was absolutely out of this world - and if you haven't tried the restaurant... you need to! From the appetizers to the full dinner menu - it is still mouth watering!

My fiancé and I are having a longer engagement to accommodate some busy and complicated times in our lives and also to save up for the wedding of our dreams. Because at least half of our guests will be attending from other parts of the country or internationally, we wanted to find our venue early on in our engagement and wedding planning process. We knew we wanted to get married close enough to where we live currently (Providence, RI), and we knew we loved the idea of having a barn wedding. We immediately set out looking for full-service barn/farm-setting wedding venues that could accommodate our needs. Although we still have a long way to go until our wedding day, we are thrilled with The Barn, the professionalism of their staff, and their responsiveness to our questions and concerns. We feel very comfortable knowing that our ceremony and reception at The Barn will be spectacular because of the incredible staff there that will work very hard to make it so, and are so, so happy we don't need to search for, interview, book, and coordinate what seem like a hundred different vendors for everything from flatware and linens to alcohol and food! The only vendors we need to work with outside of The Barn are our officiant, photographer(s), and florist, which is such a relief to us. Immediately upon stepping into The Barn (the property, farm, restaurant, ceremony, and reception spaces), we were blown away, and couldn't picture ourselves getting married anywhere else. Visit for yourself, and we're sure you'll see what we mean!!

The Barn at Gibbet Hill was an amazing place to get married. My husband and I whittled our choices down to two very different scenarios: a local historic home or Gibbet Hill. At the historic home, I would need to coordinate rentals (chairs, tables, tent, etc), catering, bar needs, and other vendors like the DJ. It would have been better for our budget, but probably very stressful. Gibbet Hill, on the other hand, had stellar in-house coordinators and would take care of everything. Choosing Gibbet Hill might have been pricey, but it saved my sanity.

Our coordinator was VERY helpful and set everything up for us, from the tasting to the drop-off time. The day of our wedding a quick rain shower was looming and instead of freaking out, I was able to turn to the coordinator and say "let's move it inside" without batting an eye: the staff moved chairs, the wedding was on the beautiful porch, and everything was easy. The food was delicious, the location was gorgeous, and I couldn't have been happier. Plus? They include a one-year anniversary dinner voucher in their package, so my husband and I got to go back for a delicious, romantic dinner for two. A wonderful experience.

What a night from start to finish it was absolutely amazing. The ceremony was held there also, and it was just beautiful we were lucky enough that the weather was on our side. The venue was beautiful many compliments from guests. If I had to find one negative comment it would be the mosquitos at night on the deck were bad, but on the up note everyone was on the dance floor.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Barn at Gibbet Hill in May 2012. When we were looking for a venue for our wedding, we were looking for a location that was unique, somewhat non-traditional, and where we could hold both our ceremony and our reception. Within taking our first steps into the Barn, before meeting with a wedding coordinator, we knew this was our venue! The barn and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking! The entire planning process was flawless. Our event coordinator – Sara - was responsive throughout the entire process. Sara was an absolute joy to work and thanks to her, our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. So many of our guests complimented us on the fantastic venue, and are still raving about the food and wine selections that were offered. The event space was perfect, especially because it was a gorgeous spring day, and our guests were able to enjoy the huge, open deck during cocktail hour and after dinner. We heard from so many guests what a fantastic time they had at our wedding, and part of this credit has to go to the Barn at Gibbet Hill for creating such a fantastic atmosphere for us to celebrate our marriage with our families and friends. The Barn at Gibbet Hill was an incredible place to hold our wedding reception. Our coordinator was Deirdre, and she was terrific. I planned a surprise for my wife during the reception, and Deidre went above and beyond her responsibilities to help pull it off. The food was perfect (both in our opinion and from our guests) and the staff was attentive and professional. The décor was beautiful and it was apparent that all involved really knew what they were doing in setting up the barn, as there was plenty of space and no “bottlenecks”. The Barn at Gibbet Hill and Deirdre exceeded our expectations for our wedding day and we highly recommend them for yours.

I live in San Francisco and was getting married in Massachusetts and I had a weekend to visit several locations for prospective venue locations for my May 2011 wedding. I walked into the Barn at Gibbet Hill and immediately knew that this was the place. My decision was made and I chose my wedding date based on their availability.
It was that easy for me. The barn is beautiful, the exposed wood beams, the open, bright floor plan, the amazing views, etc. I fell in love at first site with this place! It is pretty expensive, however, we chose to have a Saturday morning wedding and decided that to have peace of mind that everything would be taken care of the price would be worth it.
I met with Deirdre and worked with her all the way through my wedding planning. I must have sent her a total of over 500+ emails in my year of planning and she was amazingly patient and responded within 24 hours. She worked with my schedule, helped me plan meetings during my trips to the East Coast and made my overall planning process so easy.
My wedding day was amazing. Every single one of my guests complimented us on our choice of location. The staff was very professional and friendly. The servers were courteous and prompt. The food...oh, the food was amazing! I am vegetarian and had several vegetarian guests and Deirdre helped me find tasty food that we all loved. I can't say enough good things about the chefs at Gibbet Hill.

The food, beverages and decor were exceptional!! The waitstaff was so friendly especially Amanda, our personal server. I just loved every bit of it!! I truly had no worries at all!! We choose to have the ceremony on the lawn, and the beauty of the setting speaks for itself. During our ceremony, we were surprised to hear Rhianna start blasting through the speakers from the soccer fields at Lawrence Academy – but hey, it certainly made it memorable. The deck and the reception were exactly what we had envisioned for our wedding day. The lofts inside the barn helped add a fun feel to an otherwise formal atmosphere of the barn. We used one of the lofts to enter from during our introduction, and it was so fun getting to watch as our parents and wedding party entered.

The food at the venue speaks for itself, and months later, we are still getting rave reviews from guests. We can’t wait until our anniversary meal!

The staff at the Barn were also exceptional. Although every detail of the day did not go exactly how I had planned it, the staff at the Barn were amazing, and I really can’t imagine the day any differently. Sara was our Event Coordinator. Throughout the process, she was always professional and quick to respond to our many questions. The day of our wedding, the entire staff took such good care of us, and made us feel relaxed and able to enjoy the day.

I had initially been a little hesitant to use a wedding venue that hosted so many weddings as I really did not want to be just another bride on their long list. However, choosing a venue that is well experienced in hosting, helped minimize my stress and helped make the day everything it was. Plus, day off our wedding, I felt like the only bride out there. I would definitely recommend the Barn at Gibbet Hill to future couples looking for an amazing wedding venue.

The Barn at Gibbet Hill was amazing. It was beautiful. It rained on our wedding day, and while not ideal, the ceremony was gorgeous and very intimate in the wooden barn.

The food is AMAZING. Best wedding food I've ever had. Our guests are still raving about it.

Lastly, I can't say enough good things about Carolyn Hilton our planner at the venue. She was very responsive, helpful and always put me at ease when I was stressed out. She went above and beyond for us and made our day perfect.

I could not have imagined getting married anywhere else. Perfection.

They have a very clear idea about timing and potential problems and make sure to take care of everything so that the bride just enjoys the day. Even the cake and flowers can be done by local vendors who are competent and familiar with the property. The couple gets to customize anything about the day to suit their dream wedding.
