Barbara is the best!

We had a last minute cancellation with another photographer days before our wedding. Barbara was so wonderful and helpful with all the last minute details. She paid close attention to the details of what we wanted to capture in our pictures. She made sure she understood who all the important family members and guests were and worked diligently to capture every single picture we were looking for. She had great ideas for group shots and couple shots, and she took some beautiful candids. She was able to capture some really special moments in our day, and we will cherish the pictures she took for a long time to come!

Experienced photographer who captured our day perfectly

Barbara Lynch captured our wedding day perfectly. She was in communication with us from the engagement to the big day, getting to know us and our preferences. We had the most perfect wedding day and Barbara let us lead the way while making sure she didn't miss a moment! She and her partner Tom captured all the most important moments as well as the sweetest candids. Barbara gave a lot of great suggestions while still allowing us to veto anything we did not like. Spectacular!

Barbara is truly amazing!
My husband and I had to postpone our wedding due to Covid. About 6 weeks prior to our October wedding, we decided to schedule our wedding sooner. We did not have any vendors planned. Barbara came to my rescue! Through word of mouth from a dear friend of mine, Barbara was highly recommended to me. I spoke to her on the phone the same day as the recommendation, and immediately I knew Barbara was one in a million. She was very responsive, so kind and truly talented. My wedding was at Danversport, where everyone knew her! I was told by so many of the workers there how amazing Barbara was, in addition to how she photographed their wedding. It was so exciting to hear! Barbara kept in touch with me throughout my 6 week planning and made me feel so reassured. I never once felt anxious about my photographer.
On the day of my wedding, Barbara was the first one there. She took amazing pictures of me and my bridal party getting ready. She was so fun and prepared. Barbara had so many tips for me through my special day! I felt as though she was my wedding planner and photographer. It was wonderful! Throughout my whole wedding, Barbara made me feel like a superstar! She took the most beautiful pictures of me, my husband and our families. Her work is impeccable. I cannot find just one picture I love, because I truly love them all!
Barbara was the most supportive person for me through my wedding and made my special day amazing.
Every person at my wedding commented on the friendship I had with my photographer. Barbara was supportive of me, my husband and my family through the entire day. She photographed every single detail. But, Barbara was more than just my wedding photographer. She became my life-long friend. When I think back to my wedding day, I am eternally grateful I had Barbara as a huge part of my day. She is the most down-to-earth, sweetest and talented person.

Best wedding photographer

Barbara was amazing to work with especially during such a hard time to plan a wedding. Her work is unreal and she really got to know me and my husband. We had a very limited time at our ceremony venue to capture the pictures we wanted. Her experience and personality got us through without a hitch. She got all the photos we wanted plus some we didn’t even know we needed. I would recommend her to anyone.

From our first conversation, I knew that Barbara was the right person to capture the memories of our wedding. She is knowledgeable, kind, and so professional. As a senior citizen getting married in another state, it was a bit confusing. But Barb helped us connect all the dots for a beautiful experience. She communicated several times to learn something about us and our unique needs. She knew the venue well and took the most scenic pictures! She was also able to work around certain restrictions since we are in the middle of a pandemic. The pictures were outstanding and my guests appreciated them as much as we did. Breathtaking Photos

Barbara and her partner Tom's attention to detail is greatly appreciated. My wedding was on the hottest day all year. She was a champ about it and was very efficient and speedy outside. True Professional

My husband and I decided on a small, at home, family wedding and Barbara took our event just as serious as a big venue. There were so many small details that I didn't give any thought to and with her experience she was able to step in and keep things moving. Barbara had an amazing way of convincing the camera shy people to join in and be a part of our memories. When you have all of your family together you don't realize how infrequently that actually happens and I will always treasure the group photos. She brings a lot of creativity to her photos and makes it all look effortless. I look at our album often and it always makes me smile. Your wedding day passes so quickly and can be such a blur but when you have a photographer who doesn't miss a single detail, you can relive it over and over again. A Wonderful Experience

Barbara captured so much in her photos at our wedding. When it began to snow she had my husband and I go outdoors for snow photos and gave me her coat to keep warm before and after these photos. She even took a photo of the frozen river at our venue to remind us of the frigid temperatures that day. Barbara's photography is beautiful. Also, she has been doing this work for so long that she knows precisely where to be throughout an event. A bride can relax knowing that Barbara will be there at the right moments. Her photos were ready in a week and mounted in an album for us. We were very pleased.

Barbara is amazing! She knows exactly what shots she is looking for and takes beautiful posed and candid shots. We received a few photos within a week and a half and got all of the photos digitally and printed within 2-3 weeks. Having the albums of printed photos included was really a nice touch. She also has been around the business for a long time and provides great advice on many topics to ensure the day goes smoothly. She really goes above and beyond.

We are so very grateful we went with Barbara. We were actually very late in getting a photographer and were very stressed about it, but Barbara immediately put us at ease with her straightforward, gentle and responsive approach. She was like having 3 photographers – she beautifully captured every aspect of our special day from multiple vantage points. She was able to do this because of the thoughtful research she did ahead of time – coming with us to the venue weeks before, she planned out when and where to be at all times. She was responsive to our wishes - working with us to give us what we wanted (emphasizing candids over staged shots). She was also able to improvise on the spot. When fog rolled in, she seized the opportunity to capture some truly magical backlit shots. The results of all her efforts are so spectacular, and we will treasure these photographs forever.

Words can't express how grateful we were able to find Barbara and her amazing photography! My previous photographer had a medical procedure prior to my wedding and through the Nahant Country Club recommendation found Barbara. Call it fate...call it what you want. It was one of the best things to happen as Barbara took some of the most amazing photos. She knew the angles, the opportune times with the evening sunset, photos with the Boston skyline...amazing!!! We received preview pics within a week and our photo albums within a month. Not like other photographers where they put them on a CD or USB drive and you have to print your own photos! We will also be able to save the pics to a USB, but to them them printed in an organized fashion is simply great!! Highly recommend Barbara!!

Barbara is so much more than a photographer for your wedding capturing your special day; she helps with advice on how your pictures will come out to be their absolute best, how to pose and she’ll even help you put on a boutineer! Barbara is a true professional. My daughter's wedding pictures are amazing. Barbara was great at setting up shots, she knew how to cover the wedding to capture the best moments. She was fun to work with, it was very easy. The album of 678 photos she assembled, we will treasure for years. She also gave us a CD. I have them all rotating as screen savers. Barbara photoshops and perfects the pictures we selected for the parent and newly wed albums. The day flew by so quickly, I am grateful we trusted her to help bring back the memories of a magical time. Before the wedding, I was not sure how essential it was to spend lots of money on a photographer. Everyone has a good cell phone camera, these days. But, as great as our cell phone pics are, once we got Barbara's, I appreciated they are in a whole different category. I would definitely use her again and strongly recommend her.

Our wedding was planned on very short notice and Barbara was a true blessing to work with.
The pictures were beautiful and she was very flexible with our schedule and specific needs.

If you are still out there wondering which photographer to use for your wedding day, then seriously consider Barbara Lynch. She came highly recommended from our venue, the Danversport Yacht Club, and, although Barbara and I had never met before preparing for my wedding day, my fiance and I hit it off right away with her due to her down-to-earth, easy manner. She captured the day beautifully from the moment that she arrived at my home to take pictures in the back yard to the last pictures that she actually RETURNED TO THE RECEPTION to take because she saw that the daylight was changing and didn't want us to miss out on the magic of the moment. I remember her taking shots and showing me some of them throughout the day in her camera viewer and I was thinking, "She is making us all look really great in these" -- this from someone who hates to have their picture taken. Actually, I never saw the woman sit down once during the entire wedding and reception. She was constantly taking pictures, which, one might argue, was her job, but she covered each and every moment of the day as it happened with such ease and professionalism that you could tell that she knew just where to be positioned to get the very best shot possible. Any bride is in good hands with her. She is truly a consummate professional with an unbridled attention to detail. More than that, you can tell that she enjoys her craft -- and I use the word "craft" because she really does take her work to another level. She takes great pride in her art and each picture to her is a creation. I honestly have not shown our pictures to someone without them telling me what great pictures they are. So, we can't thank you enough, Barbara, for a job very well done, We feel that we have made a friend in you on our wedding day this last July 16 and look forward to working with you again someday in the future.

Barbara was great to work with. She answered all of our questions, took suggestions for the pictures we wanted, and had our pictures done in record time - in less than a month! They look beautiful, and I'm so glad she had be go out for the extra shots - I never would have thought to take so many of the pictures that she captured. We got married on June 12 at Rye Harbor State Park. Look no further for your wedding photographer because Barbara is just the best! Last summer our daughter was married at Lynch Park in Beverly. She chose Barbara Lynch for the photography and we couldn't be more pleased. Barbara set the stage for a great experience with the beautiful engagement photos. She immediately established a wonderful rapport with the couple, putting them totally at ease. Barbara is the consumate professional. Took absolutely stunning photos of our wedding at Lynch Park in Beverly, Ma. The outdoor shots of both the ceremony and after were just beautiful and atrtistic renderings of our day. We hired Barbara for our daughter's wedding this past October. Barbara was wonderful to work with! She was very flexible with meeting times and places, returned phone calls and emails very quickly, had limitless knowledge and advice. It is obvious that she loves what she does!
Barbara took beautiful photographs, capturing so many special moments, and was very careful to spend time to make sure all photos were flattering not only to the bride and wedding party, but to all family and guests.
This was our first time planning a wedding and Barbara was there to help walk us through every phase of the process. So, if your looking for professional photographer who will help explain every step of the process and make you feel like a close friend at the same time, Barbara is that person!

My husband and I got married September 18th in Nahant. It is with zero hesitation that I say Barbara Lynch was our best selection out of the entire wedding planning process. She is talented beyond belief. Her attention to detail and eye for photography is truly mind blowing. We took our engagement pictures in May and we knew from our first meeting that Barb would be perfect for our big day! She is extremely professional yet laid back; she made us so comfortable. I myself hate pictures and I cannot believe how comfortable she made us. The wedding will fly by (that's a promise) but pictures last forever. After my first conversation with Barbara, I knew she would be the perfect photographer for our Commitment Ceremony and reception. When the 3 of us met, we all got along like old friends! We were very impressed by Barbara's work with past clients, and we were amazed at her knowledge and experience. She came up with such inventive poses at the beach and throughout the entire event. On a recommendation from a friend, I hired Barbara to do the photography for my first daughter's wedding. It was such a perfect experience that Barbara was the first person I called when my second daughter announced her engagement. On the day of your wedding, Barbara is both the consummate professional and a reliable friend you can turn to throughout the event. Before the wedding she does her homework: she meets with the bride and groom and parent(s) and takes down all essential information to make certain every desired picture is taken and no uncomfortable family situations arise. On the day of the wedding you never have to think about the photography - Barbara takes charge in a friendly, nonintrusive manner; yet in the end gets more images of your special day than you could possibly have imagined! She is constantly taking courses to update her techniques and her artistic creations reflect this. When you choose the pictures you want for your album, she takes much time, effort and skill to perfect the images, erasing any unwanted telephone wires or oil stains on the road or any other imperfections that might distract from the overall impression of the picture. Her shots are creative, artistic, formal, informal and a perfect reflection of your perfect day.

Excellent photos! Working with Barbara was a dream. She did my “save the date” photos and engagement photos as well as my wedding photos. Everything came out awesome. She really goes above and beyond. She even made time to come into Boston and do walkthrough with my husband and I a week before the wedding. I would highly recommend her wedding photography.

We could not have asked for a better photographer! Barbara captured just about every moment of our small, intimate ceremony in a personal, yet unobtrusive manner. Choosing Barbara was by far one of the absolute best decisions that I made throughout my entire wedding process. I have nothing but good things to say about her. To me, it is all about good first impressions, and Barbara did just that. It all started right after we booked our wedding venue. I immediately became paranoid after my family and I dropped a ton of money on our deposit on a venue that is known for their breath-taking outdoor views for pictures. It then dawned on me, what would I do about pictures if it rained on my wedding day? My now husband and fiance at the time, decided to try to ease my mind by e-mailing as many photographers as he could in the North Shore, MA area to see if any photographers had any advice or ideas in mind to help solve this paranoid idea in my mind. There was only one photographer that e-mailed him back, and not only did she e-mail him back, but she e-mailed him back almost immediately with tons of amazing ideas! Barbara came up with so many ideas of historic buildings, old churches, and museums that we could have our pictures taken if it was a complete wash-out wedding day! My mind was immediately eased, and I knew right then and there that we had to hire her.
Barbara was amazing to be around. You tend to forget that she is there for business reasons because she makes you feel like she is your friend rather than just your photographer. Every photo that she took for us was absolutely stunning. She made me feel so beautiful and like a princess on my wedding day. You could tell that she had so much fun working with us and that she genuinely enjoys her job. I think that it is rare to find someone that special to work with. I will truly never forget her.

Barbara was very flexible and gave us an affordable package. She kept pictures short and sweet as we requested, but still got all the important shots. We didn't have to worry at all, Barbara was on top of everything, and the photo-shooting went smoothly, efficiently, and with no drama. We have countless lovely pictures. Barbara gave us stunning prints of all the best photos in two albums as part of the baseline package. We are delighted to have these photos to supplement our memories of this special day. Barbara did an absolutely amazing job with my wedding photos! She knew exactly when to take pictures with sun sets and dark skies and the outcome of those pictures were breath taking! She captured amazing shots of a very special day with family and friends. From the very first phone call and meeting until the final photos were picked up Barbara was amazing. Barbara did an amazing job photographing my wedding. We were in a time crunch taking pictures outside (she was monitoring the radar while snapping away!) but, she managed to get lots of fantastic shots in before the rain! She also helped brighten my wedding day with some amazing rain shots. No one wishes for rain on their wedding day, but thanks to Barbara we have the most beautiful pictures utilizing the rain drops, cloudy skies, and some umbrellas.

I highly recommend using Barbara Lynch for your special day. She is easy to work with and knows what she's doing. It is also very clear that photography is her her passion. It's more than just a job for her. I can assure you that you will have one less thing to stress or worry about on your big day knowing she's behind the camera lens!

On a side note, I just received all of my proofs from our wedding. She prints each photo and gives them to you in an actual photo album. It's a nice change from just getting a link to a website (which she also gives you after you make sure there are no embarrassing shots!).

Barbara is amazing to work with and we could not be happier with our pictures! After meeting Barbara and looking at her wedding work we knew right away she was the one we wanted to capture our special day. Barbara traveled quite a distance to be with us and was available before the wedding to chat about any ideas we had.
When I arrived on the day of the wedding Barbara had already checked out some of the best spots and studied the lighting so she was prepared with all the best shots for the wedding day. She was so easy to work with and had a calming presence on a day that can be so full of nerves. Barbara had an eye for capturing the emotion of such an important day and capturing memories that we will always treasure.

Barbara Lynch was the photographer for my wedding back in 2008. This past summer, my stepson got married, and my husband and I recommended Barbara. He and his fiancee took us up on our recommendation and it worked out perfectly.

Why did we recommend her? Her professionalism, "psychology of the wedding", and artistic approach were unique. In our wedding, she took into account the variety of backgrounds of our friends, and made herself well acquainted with our varied friends and family. She blended this with an artistic eye, and hard-working ethic - although our wedding was in Cape May, NJ (not a nearby place!), she scouted out the venue, and the entire area, to find the best shots. The results were pictures that captured everything, from the casual arrival of friends pre-wedding, to the "after-party" fun!

For my stepson and his bride, she (and her partner Tom Bachini, who can sign on as officiant and does a wonderful job) came to Key West. She was scouting out the daylight and how the shots would be, where the couple and others should stand for greatest photos, in advance, even going so far as to recruit several guests at the hotel to "stand in" and pose so she could determine best shots - we all got a kick out of it, but of course the most important result was the artistic, beautiful, fantastic photos which so captured the special moments and evening.

You cannot go wrong with Ms. Lynch.

Barbara was absolutely wonderful to work with, from the initial request for information to picking up our photos after the wedding. We had a blast doing our engagement photos, and that really put me at ease knowing that we were in great hands for our wedding day. Not only did she take beautiful photos that really captured our personalities and the emotion involved with our wedding day, but she was also a master at helping us plan out the timeline of the day itself. It was very helpful to have her experience and tips as to how to maximum our time between the ceremony and reception, and to make sure we got all of the photos we wanted without taking too much time away from the celebration. My family and friends all commented on how great she was to work with, and on her ability to manage a large (and at times wild) wedding party, all with a smile.

Barbara was the perfect choice for our amazing day! She has a gift for taking shots which captured the actual emotions of our day, making sure that they weren't just "everyone else's" wedding photos at the same time. As a plus size bride, she was especially mindful of angles and taking pictures to flatter my figure and round face shape (I look so elegant, at least two sizes smaller!) She also really new her stuff when it came to setting up poses to take advantage of the scenery, so that folks back home (we are from Oklahoma) could really appreciate the fall foliage and the park scene of our outdoor ceremony. Her pictures told the story of our day. If you are concerned about your photographer being all up in your wedding, rest assured, it was like she wasn't even there, even though there are many close-ups and several candids. She was very easy to work with and promptly provided our photos within the timeframe of our trip so we could return home with prints. If we lived in Mass, she'd be our gal for all portraits and special occasions.

I highly recommend Barbara she was amazing to work with from day one Barbara was very helpful gave lots of advice and got lots of great photos I was amazed at the amount of pictures she took. No one really noticed Barbara was there taking pictures which was great she was never in the way She made me much more relaxed on my wedding day knowing you have someone you can trust is a big help she got pictures of everyone and everything!!!! I heard of Barbara Lynch through a friend and signed her up for our wedding this past weekend. Barbara was there waiting for us when i got off the bus (not to mention i was late showing up due to bus issues) and was able to fit in pictures before my ceremony that i thought were a lost cause due to the issue with the late bus. she had awesome suggestions through out the night and was able to give us good advice on timing of large family pictures, actually eating our meals, and making it around to all our guests to say hello.
we got some great shots outdoors, she even stood in the rain to get a couple shots of us with an umbrella! the price was completely in budget for us (under 2k) and she has several tiers of packages you can choose from, all of which are affordable. i had seen some photographers in my research asking upwards of 5-9k for wedding photographs, which i must say, is ridiculous.
on top of that, barbara is so friendly and such a sweet person, she was totally accommodating of our large family's numerous requests for group shots throughout the night. i would recommend barbara any day!

Barbara is FABULOUS! She definitely helped make our wedding day go smoothly.

My husband and I really wanted to be at cocktail hour so we took some pictures before our ceremony, which was such a great idea. Barb made sure that we still had a "special moment" when we first saw each other since it was before walking down the aisle. She made sure to take all of the pictures that I requested and did so in a timely manner. She checked with me a couple of times during the reception to make sure we weren't missing any types of pictures that we wanted. I am so glad that she did because with everything going on at the wedding I would have forgotten about some of those photos I wanted!

Barb knew that we wanted to be at cocktail hour to enjoy the mansion at our venue (before moving into a tent for dinner)- and she made sure that happened! We also didn't want guests waiting for a long time while we took photos. We never felt rushed- she just did an incredible job. She knew exactly what she was doing and she made sure we got everything we wanted.

We received our proofs so quickly! And we LOVE every single picture. They are so stunning- we are very impressed. I already told her she'll be taking photos when we have kids!! She is also extremely friendly and personable. I'm sad that the wedding is over because I just loved working with her!!

I can't say enough about Barb!! She truly helped make the day wonderful.

I am still enjoying all the fabulous pictures Barbara took on our wedding day on 9/9/12 at Danversport Yatch Club. She took so many wonderful pictures that day of us and our families. The quality of the pictures were amazing and it showed in the wedding album and the pictures on our walls. She is very talented at what she does for a living and is very down to earth and easy to deal with on a personal level. My husband and I price shopped north of Boston for photographers and she was the most affordable for what you get, professionalism and quality! There are some many things to pay for in a wedding and the pictures are the ones that last forever in my opinion. Best wishes to you future brides!
