Everything went so well! Looking back, the cost was worth the magical wedding day! The entire staff was so supportive. Magda Bates, Director of Events Sales, was great to work with. It was a perfect day! Thanks Baker's Cay!

This place is incredible. Magda went above and beyond for us. Because of her our wedding day was more than we could’ve ever imagined. She provided us with so many complementary amenities, Including benches that I so badly wanted for our ceremony, the Albury room for me to get ready in, Allowed us to use the private beaches, even though we weren’t staying at the resort, and provided me with food while getting ready for my wedding because she knew I hadn’t eaten anything.
The day of our wedding was breezy and a little chilly, and Magda recommended moving our beachside dinner indoors for comfort, to which I said no. After the ceremony, I realized how stupid that was. Magda still managed to get everything moved inside. She had everything ready before we were even done with our pictures. I would recommend this place to anyone who is wanting a gorgeous beachside wedding and dinner. This place is stunning and Magda will not let you down. It’s worth every penny.

Thank you Baker's Cay for hosting our beautiful wedding this past December 2024. It was simply perfect. Huge shoutout and thanks to Magda Bates, who helped us plan our dream date in a short 4 month window! Magda was professional, detail oriented, and prompt in answering any question we had along the way. Due to weather, we even had to move the dinner portion of the evening into an indoor backup room, yet Magda ensured everything would still be pristine and still capture what we had always dreamed of in our wedding reception. Magda always was working behind the scenes for us alongside our planner and other vendors taking care of anything and everything we could think of. Thank you Baker's Cay and Magda!!

During our stay, we felt so accommodated and well taken care of. This included welcome gifts in our room and a bottle of champagne and desserts waiting for us on the night of the actual ceremony.

Perfect place for our wedding with close family and friends. We are from California and had to get married in Florida due to travel for family in Florida. I can’t complain it was a wonderful experience and perfect day. We are so happy.

My name is Jessica Monteagudo and I am a wedding planner Paradise Bliss Weddings in the FL Keys. I have worked with Baker's Cay Resort, and I had an amazing experience with them. Their entire team is wonderful and so easy to work with. Everyone was very helpful, kind, attentive to detail and overall helped make my job as a planner much more enjoyable. I truly enjoyed working with them!

I have never seen a place so perfectly equipped for weddings! Magda (the sales events coordinator) handles everything so you don’t even lift a finger! She was my “wedding planner” since I had a wedding under 25 people. We really only talked in super detail twice over the phone and it turned out even more perfect than I imagined! No need to stress over talking to her all the time because I guarantee she already has it done! She has done this for 30 years and it shows! So many things come with the wedding package, I only had to out source flowers, photographer, and hair and makeup. Everything else was handled! One major thing stood out to me: there is a wedding about every single day especially during wedding season, but each person on the staff made us feel like we were the only wedding that mattered! So much attention to detail and surprises, I couldn’t even begin to tell you all the special details they added to our stay! We even came into our honeymoon room on our wedding night and they had a special bottle of Prosecco, champagne glasses, and chocolate covered strawberries for us! I would have my wedding here over and over again!

My husband and I chose Baker’s Cay as our wedding venue after visiting for the first time. We actually cancelled all other venues we had scheduled to tour because we immediately fell in love. We had the pleasure of working with Anna Patterson and Joshua Cato as the Events Coordinators at the time. From the tour, to the tasting and our wedding week (May of 2023) all of the experiences were exceptional. To this day, we still get so many compliments on how amazing the food was at our rehearsal dinner at Calusa, our wedding and at the resort.
Joshua went above and beyond in making sure everything was handled correctly and efficiently. He was always so quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had leading to the wedding and it truly was such a great opportunity to be able to have him as part of our wedding planning and process of it all.
Baker’s Cay provided literally everything except the floral, photography/videography, DJ, Makeup/hair, wedding cake.
Overall, we were and are so happy we had our wedding at Bakers Cay and can’t wait to return for our one year anniversary to relive one of the best days of our lives. Can’t thank Joshua and Anna and bakers cay staff enough!

Where to start...Bakers Cay was (from the moment we first visited) the top choice of venue for us. The hotel itself is amazing and the most STUNNING wedding venue! Josh & the rest of the staff from start to end were absolutely amazing and made my wife and I feel like queens from check in to check out. Our wedding was a destination wedding for about 90% of our guests and every single person has told us "what an amazing weekend" and it is all thanks to Bakers Cay! Food? Amazing, Service? Amazing, Vibes? Amazing! Do not think twice about booking here, just do it! You won't regret it. Josh & team - thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams and a weekend that will be on repeat in my head for the rest of our lives! Can i come back yet? :)

Had our wedding at Baker’sCay and all of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue and service were. Josh Cato was fantastic and helpful. When we were in the final frantic week before the wedding, we requested changes and Josh handled it with ease and grace. Food was great, service always great and the venue is beautiful. We got married here on April 21, 2023, and cannot say enough about what an incredible venue choice this was. To start, they have the most BEAUTIFUL locations available as an option to work with pretty much any wedding vision you’re going for. For our intimate, 50-person wedding, we opted for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour at the Love Tree then moved inside to Cayview North—every setting was equally as beautiful, with the sun setting behind the incredible lush greenery without losing that beachy, tropical feel at Hammock beach and then moving upstairs to the incredible floor-to-ceiling windows with nearly 360 degree aerial waterfront views in the ballroom. We had so much peace of mind in choosing this location for our wedding since we knew that all the indoor rain plan options would still be beautiful, romantic, and with lots of natural light—not trapped in a random ballroom with ugly carpet and no windows or stuck risking it with a tent like many other venue options. We also loved that they were so willing to work with weddings of all sizes, which is something that we found challenging with a wedding that was under 75 people when looking at many venues. We went with plated style dinner, and all the food and drinks were AMAZING, and we have friends still raving about how it was without a doubt the most delicious wedding food they have ever had. As a destination couple, the hotel worked with us for room blocks to ensure all of our guests had the most fair rates and were as flexible as possible with us for those who chose to stay longer than the 3-night minimum. They allowed us all to turn our special day into an unforgettable vacation, and I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful resort for your honeymoon too! As if all of this wasn’t enough, we got to work with both Anna Patterson and Joshua Cato, who couldn’t have been a more amazing team for their catering and events. They were such a joy to be around—bright, warm, cheery—but also ensured that every single aspect of our entire wedding weekend went off without a hitch. From consulting with us for big and small decisions, such as dance floor or table placement to figuring out best use of our budget with food/bev options, to helping with things not included in their job description, such as providing a speaker when we forgot one for our welcome party, helping corral packages we needed sent directly to the hotel, making sure we were greeted with a drink right after the ceremony—they were absolute rock stars for us through and through! They were so easy to communicate with, and so flexible and helpful during the entire planning process with us. By the end of our time there, we truly felt like we were a part of their Baker’s Cay family, and felt they played such a special role in our heart and day. The venue itself is incredible, but having the two of them as a team who makes your time feel important, unique, and prioritized is a really unique touch that I can guarantee you won’t find everywhere—you can find other beautiful resorts, but you can’t find another Josh and Anna! The McAlisters are SO grateful to both of you, and we would recommend Baker’s Cay as the ONLY choice for your Key Largo wedding to any couples looking!

Josh helped to make our vow renewal magical beyond our wildest dreams. He gave great suggestions and was quick to respond with answers to our questions. There was a chance of rain on the day of our event and he had back up plans already lined up if needed.
I highly recommend having your wedding or vow renewal at Baker’s Cay. From the venue to the food all of our guests were blown away by the service and quality.

This review is specifically for the wedding planning/events team, but we have also stayed at the hotel and it's worth noting how magnificent it is on its own! But, I just wanted to write this to say how fantastic the whole team is at Bakers Cay. Not only is the venue STUNNING, everyone working our wedding, from Josh & Anna in the planning process, to the chef, bartenders, etc. was absolutely fantastic. We had a lot of special requests and they accommodated every single one. The food was amazing. The service was fantastic. We truly can't say enough good things. Thank you everyone at Bakers Cay for helping make our wedding better than we could have imagined!!

We had the wedding of our dreams, all thanks to Baker's Cay! We already had Baker's Cay on a list of venues to check out, even before we were officially engaged. This was a destination wedding for us, so as soon as we could, we booked a trip to the Keys to check out the venues we were interested in. Baker's Cay was the first venue we looked at and we were blown away by how perfect it was. We love the modern boho feel of the resort, which went perfectly with the vibe we pictured for our wedding- tropical without leaving the country and having to deal with passports and such! We loved it so much, we even cancelled other venue tours.

Anna, Josh, and the entire team at Baker's Cay has been nothing short of excellent as far a communication, hospitality, and professionalism. The entire resort staff has made us feel like family every time we have visited or stayed. It's always a good sign when you see the same staff working every time you visit. Everyone seems to love their job and works hard to deliver the best service possible.

The spaces available to use are wonderful! We opted to have a welcome party on Coconut Beach the night before with an open bar and passed hors d'oeuvres. It was a magical evening where guests were able to mingle, plus the beautiful sunset over the water made it even more perfect.

On the wedding day, I reserved the Albury room to get dressed in and it was a perfect space with plenty of room for hair and make-up. We had an amazing food spread that everyone enjoyed. We had our ceremony on Hammock Beach. It was exactly what we wanted- on a secluded beach, but without the loud sound of waves crashing. Just a gentle lapping of water on the shore. Our cocktail hour was on the Sunset Terrace and it was the perfect amount of space for our guests. Plus there was another beautiful sunset that night. We held our reception in Cayview North Ballroom, which connected to the Sunset Terrace. I loved the view from the ballroom, plus how it connected to the terrace in case anyone wanted fresh air. The food at all events was incredible and came out in a timely fashion.

A special thank you to Josh, who was so wonderful in the days/weeks leading up to and on the wedding weekend. He checked on us throughout the weekend and went above and beyond. He even helped me bustle my dress before the reception!

A special shout out to the Baker's Cay kitties, who helped me feel less homesick for our cats during wedding weekend!

All in all, we're thrilled with how everything came together and would do it a million times over. The guests still tell me how much they enjoyed the entire weekend, with multiple guests already wanting to come back to stay. We can't thank Anna, Josh, and the entire staff enough. We can't wait to bring our family back here, Baker's Cay will always have such a special place in our hearts.

I found Baker's Cay via wedding wire and I instantly fell in love with the architecture and the decor online. It looked so beautiful and I could envision my dream wedding at this location. The staff is sooooo friendly. Amanda was the one helping me throughout this whole process. Let me just say SHE IS AWESOME, SO PATIENT, SO KIND, AND answered every single countless questions I had. When we went to visit for the first time which also happened to be our menu tasting. We had the best experience. The food was exceptional. We loved the vibe, the staff, the location and the beauty of this location.

What I loved most about this location is that everything is in one place and MOST OF ALL I LOVED that they are DOG FRIENDLY! We have our fur baby that was essential that she would be there on our wedding day. Hotel, and wedding venue all in one place which is nice because no one had to leave the resort for anything.

When we arrived our wedding week we had the best suite! it was huge, so spacious and had the most breathtaking view of the ocean. It was right over where our ceremony was. They sent us a fruit platter & drinks upon arrival. The room was just beautiful. Amanda was so attentive and always there if we needed anything at all. She literally was just a phone call or text away!

Our wedding day! WAS JUST EXTRAORDINARY! To the decor, the food, the attention to detail and the service was just exceptional. We had our ceremony on hammock beach which was breath taking and private. We decided to do our cocktail hour right next door still on hammock beach which the guests all say it was just soooooo beautiful and different. My reception was in Cayview South (the bigger indoor room upstairs on the third floor). It was just beautiful. I could not believe that my dream wedding came true.

I just want to say thank you to Amanda and all the staff at bakers cay because they truly made this experience just perfect. & they gave our dog a gift also which was so cute it was a water bottle and a portable doggy bowl for when she is out on the go and needs to drink water. It was sooooo cute.

I got married at Baker's Cay on April 9, 2022. Words cannot express how the venue exceeded all my expectations. From the gorgeous views in the ballroom to the waterside wedding. Serivce was excellent. The food was delicious. Unlike any wedding food I've had before. Before wedding day, I spent eight months planning my wedding with Amanda Keister of Baker's Cay. She was so awesome. She helped me so much in those eight months. She even helped with ideas on how to set up my decor. The day before and the day of the wedding she was there to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy. I LOVED Baker's Cay. It is a gorgeous slice of paradise and the absolute best place to get married.

We had our dream wedding at Baker's Cay this past April & it turned out amazing. The resort is private & surrounded by nature & they bring that into the design. So calming, picturesque & just a good vibe! The rooms are beautiful, the restaurant, bars, beach, etc. They gave us a free upgrade for our wedding night & the ocean front suite was amazing. Anna, the catering director was so good with keeping in touch with me and answering any questions and requests we had. Staff working the reception were so kind. Many of our guests complimented the bar tender & her skills, and the food was amazing which was really important to us! Out family/friends had such an amazing get away with is for our wedding here. It was memorable for sure. There are a lot of beautiful venues in the keys to choose from, but Baker's Cay is such a gem 💗

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Baker's was the first venue we saw, and it was the only one I knew I wanted. We immediately fell in love. We are from Florida a few hours away, but wanted a "staycation" wedding. We met with Anna, and we knew it was the place. In order to "make sure", we made an impromptu appointment at a VERY similar property, very close-and we were less than thrilled, and it was more money. We were sold.
Anna and her team have been the absolute BEST. We originally booked for June 2020 and then postponed to December 2020 and again to December 2021. Not only were they more than accommodating, they were amazing and honored our original contracted prices, and in the high season. Come wedding day, all it took was a quick email or text the few weeks before or the day of and they were so responsive with guest count changes, menu changes, and so much more. The property is the most gorgeous space you could dream of to get married, and the venue is truly a dream as far as making things easy-they supply the venue, the caterer/alcohol, the cake, the linens/tables/glassware, etc. and the officiant! It was so nice to not have to worry about all these small details.
This property is the most gorgeous place you could ever dream of to get married. It's a pet and very eco friendly property and that gets an extra 5 stars from me. We love it so much we have stayed here 4-5 times even before our wedding and we will continue to come back and stay at least yearly-because it's truly a happy place.

We would be lost if it wasn't for Meghan. You have no idea the impact you have made in our lives, especially leading up to or wedding day and the day after. You have a special place in our hearts! We ABSOLUTELY loved Bakers Cay and can't wait to come back.

The amount of compliments we received from our guests about the amazing venue that is Baker’s Cay truly topped off what was already the best wedding weekend. The entire team there (most especially Anna, the events coordinator) went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly and that our every wish was granted! (Down to personally getting my Mom a glass of wine right before the ceremony!). We were lucky enough to use the Dry Rocks Restaurant beach decks and beach tiki bar for our welcome reception and the beautiful Hammock Beach and Cayview ballrooms for our wedding. Every aspect was beautiful and orchestrated down to the detail. Anna went above and beyond to take all stress from my shoulders which was a huge reason I enjoyed the weekend so much. Definitely check this place out (even for a vacation!) and you won’t regret it. Thank you again Baker’s Cay!!!

Words cannot express the amazing experience we had at Baker’s Cay Resort! Our wedding was EXACTLY what we pictured! From the rooms, the beach, the food, the activities and the setting – our guests had the very best! And, we couldn’t have done it without Anna Patterson – she is absolutely the GREATEST! We had to postpone our original wedding planning from October 2020 to August 2021…when the pandemic made a comeback and there were two tropical storms looming…Anna was with us every step of the way! In the end, everything worked out PERFECTLY and we could not have been happier! I had both my welcome reception and wedding at Baker's Cay and it was true paradise. Baker's Cay, like may venues in the Keys, is a gorgeous tropical paradise, but what set's this venue apart from the others is 1) their floor-to-ceiling window ballroom providing unbeatable views while getting out of the Florida heat 2) the great food - our guests raved about our cocktail hors d'oeuvres and 3) Anna Patterson!
Anna is what I liked to call our wedding rockstar. She made miracles happen, like putting together a last minute bridesmaid bouquet minutes before the ceremony when we found out we were one shy! Any problem I or a vendor had, Anna had the solution! As you can imagine, planning a wedding yourself is stressful enough, but planning a wedding in a pandemic, and for three different wedding dates, was incredibly overwhelming. Anna always made herself available to help and addressed my many (MANY) emails and questions in a timely, and highly professional manner. I HIGHLY recommend both Baker's Cay and Anna Patterson for an unforgettable wedding!

Due to covid we decided to cancel our big wedding and have a small intimate ceremony on the beach and I’m so glad we did! Bakers Cay is absolutely beautiful and the staff is so friendly. Anna made sure everything was taken care of and I did not have to worry about a thing. Already planning our next visit!

Baker's Cay provides so many options to customize your wedding to your liking. They have beachfront locations, outdoor reception space as well as indoor reception/ceremony spaces that highlight all the glory of the keys (sunset views at start of reception!). I wish I could relive my wedding, I had such a perfect time!

We cannot thank Anna Patterson and Baker’s Cay Resort enough for the most perfect wedding this past weekend for our daughter Ally and her now husband Andrew. Their wedding was rescheduled from May 2020 due to covid. This was a destination wedding for us and we booked Baker’s Cay after having a phone conversation with Anna who was so patient and warm and answered all of our questions. She even walked the property taking video of where the ceremony, dinner, reception would be to help us visualize. I cannot say enough about the whole Baker’s Cay team from the chef (food was amazing) to the rooms, bridal suite, grounds crew, daily activities planners, waitstaff, bartenders, etc. Hands down some of the most genuine and friendly stafff!!!! Would highly recommend to anyone planning a destination wedding. The beach wedding was truly magical! Anna hugged us every time she saw us and we knew she really cared about us!! If you're looking for your own special, unforgettable slice of paradise to celebrate your dream wedding, LOOK NO FURTHER. My new husband and I hosted our wedding at Baker's Cay and we absolutely could not have been more impressed with everything from the staff hospitality, room quality, resort amenities, THE FOOD!!, the drinks, the atmosphere, it was all spectacular. We had a relatively small (destination) wedding with ~50 guests, and they ALL have come up to us and thanked us for having our wedding in such a beautiful location.

Stunning location and amazing food aside, we could not have been more impressed with our wedding location facilitator, Anna Patterson. Her and her team provided us with EVERYTHING we needed in order to plan our perfect day. She even was there to pitch in and assist with leading our rehearsal dinner! She is so invested in making sure you have the time of your lives and that everything goes well-- I would 100% percent recommend working with Anna to help plan your wedding. I can't wait to go back and cheers with her on our first anniversary.

While my husband and I never got to actually have our wedding at Baker's Cay that was planned for April, 2020, I still felt compelled to write a review about this amazing venue! We fell in love with the resort after seeing it online as it was a perfect fit for our destination wedding dreams! Anna worked with us from start to finish (well, up to when our wedding was cancelled due to COVID!) She was very responsive and spent almost her whole day showing us around, arranging the tasting, and answering our questions. We loved working with her and I'm sure she would've been fantastic on the wedding day if it had panned out the way it was supposed to! I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone wanting a elegant oceanside wedding where their guests can relax and enjoy a beautiful getaway! Hopefully my husband and I will be able to visit for a delayed honeymoon and stand on the beach where we were originally supposed to say our vows!

This venue offered 3 locations from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. They were very accommodating and I greatly appreciated the 24/7 customer service I received from Anna Patterson! I wouldn’t have changed a thing!

We are incredibly happy we chose the Hilton Key Largo Resort! To start, the property itself is beautiful and relaxing. Most of our family was from out of town, so having our room block, ceremony and reception all in one location was a HUGE plus and so convenient, especially for the wedding day. The Hilton made the reservation process very easy for us and our guests. The entire hotel staff was very accommodating, and the Waves Beach Bar was a hit with our guests throughout the wedding weekend. Our coordinator at the Hilton, Tina, was phenomenal. Tina--- we couldn’t have done it without you, thank you so much! Tina was professional, organized, and on-top of every single detail, big and small. Any question my mother, mother-in-law and I asked her, she never once said no to us and always went out of her way to accommodate us. Since we did not have a wedding planner, Tina played a huge role in helping our family make sure everything went perfectly for our special day, which it did. The food was amazing! Best wedding food we and our guests have ever had, hands down. The bar staff was impressive – they were quick, personable, and there was never a line at our bar the entire evening. It truly was an amazing wedding weekend. Thank you to Tina and everyone at the Hilton for making our perfect dream wedding possible!!

We had a wonderful wedding & reception at the Hilton Key Largo Resort. Tina was such as huge help with everything. During the planning process, she was very helpful and answered any & every question we had. I was coordinating with her from Minnesota since my daughter, the bride was living in Bangkok. She and the whole Hilton staff were wonderful and very professional. She was hands on and in constant contact with us; updating us on everything. On the wedding day, it was raining but since it was our daughter's dream to have her wedding on the beach; Tina helped us to make sure that happened, once the weather broke a little. She totally respected the bride and groom's decision that they didn't want to move their ceremony inside. Also, the reception was perfect! And the food & beverages were delicious. The staff during the reception were awesome. The bride & groom really enjoyed there wedding & reception at the Hilton.

I am so happy that my husband and I had our destination wedding ceremony and reception at the Hilton Key Largo Resort! Everything was perfect!! The resort is beautiful and our pictures turned out amazing! Our friends and family stayed at the resort and we had such a great time! The food was fantastic! Ann the wedding coordinator is so organized and handled everything the day of the wedding and I had no stress. Ann and the other Hilton event staff were so great and easy to work with over the phone and with emails for planning. Donna was so friendly and quickly answered all my calls and emails reguarding the room block and made that stress free as well!! The Hilton was an absolutely perfect choice for our wedding. We booked here without even having seen the place, and that was absolutely the best choice we could have made! Our wedding coordinator, Ann, was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish, she makes you feel like you are the only bride/groom and that your wedding is of utmost importance (even though she has lots of weddings!!). She was super flexible and helpful with every little detail, and makes sure that you get to enjoy your wedding, instead of worrying whats happening etc. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. Our guests had an incredible time, and called it nothing other than paradise. Everything turned out better than we could have imagined, and if we got married all over again, we would definitely choose the Hilton Key Largo!

There is really not much more to say other than I just had my dream wedding at the Hilton Key Largo Resort. Ann is beyond amazing, you don't have to worry about a thing when you are in her hands.

The Hilton Key Largo Resort was amazing. The accommodations were absolutely stunning, and the staff was super helpful. They truly made me feel like a bride. Ann the wedding coordinator was super friendly and helped me through the whole process. Any questions I had she was very knowledgable and always available which was great. The venue itself was stunning. Ben and Donna in rooming were also awesome. They were super helpful with organizing my room block and making sure everyone in my party was close by.

The Hilton made my wedding complete. Ann and Donna worked very close with me and did a great job communicating everything to make our wedding weekend perfect. The food was great. Venue was beautiful and everything looked amazing! I am so glad we picked the Hilton because everyone had a blast and it was so nice being able to wake up and run into people from our wedding party and hang out during the day. Our room was great for the girls to get ready. Literally every aspect of our wedding was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing, besides making it last longer. I want to go back and do it all over again!!

My ceremony was very low key and intimate which didn't require much assistance from staff. When I did need to contact them, they were responsive and very helpful. Breathtaking setting.

We actually did not reserve any areas at the Hilton for our elopement ceremony, as we were having an intimate wedding (just us, officiant, photographer) we decided to forego reserving any of the facilities. There was a risk in doing this, as the staff will not clear any beaches when you do this - but it worked out better than we could have hoped. We had a sunset ceremony and ended up choosing the property's Hammock beach for the location. Other guests gave us space while we held the ceremony and took pictures around the nature trail, the beaches, and all around the property. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Great location, beautiful spot to have a ceremony. We couldn't be happier.

We got married at the Hilton Key Largo Resort this past weekend and we had an amazing time! From the day we arrived to the day we left, everything was wonderful. We stayed in the grand water view suite, room 328, which is a corner unit on the 3rd floor with a fabulous view of the Hammock Beach which is where our ceremony took place. The suites are very large, with sliders to the balcony that looks over the bay.

Ann and Erin in Catering were extremely helpful before, during and after our events! They made the process run so smoothly. We had our rehearsal/welcome dinner at the pool bar and it was great. The tables were set up beautifully, the taco bar was delicious and the bartenders were awesome! Our ceremony was at 6:30 at the Hammock Beach, and it was beautiful! We only had 48 guests, but the beach can accommodate much more. Cocktail our was on the terrace in front of the reception room which is a perfect spot for the guests to enjoy the sunset. We had our reception in the Cypress Ballroom which was a perfect size for our party, 6 tables of 8 people at each worked out well. The food was delicious (Caribbean buffet) and the banquet staff made sure everything went as planned. We had such an amazing time! I would not change a thing!

Donna, the sales manager of the hotel, was extremely helpful with our room block. She did her best at accommodating with any of our special requests.

The Hilton Key Largo resort is paradise. If you are looking for a quite, peaceful vacation, this is the place. You may even be lucky like us and see the manatees swimming around the pier and the dolphins swimming in the bay. All of our guests commented on how nice of a time they had, and no one wanted to leave! This was our third stay, and we will surely be back very soon!

A fabulous venue to have an beautiful, affordable ceremony right on the beach. The reception venue was perfect in every way. Lots to do for the guests and a beautiful facility to have a perfect wedding. Ann and her team were detail oriented and right en pointe! Donna and her team did everything possible to make us (parents of the bride) and our guests comfortable and pampered. Thank you, Hilton, Key Largo!

After proposing to me on the fishing pier at the Hilton, my fiance suggested we get married there, too. I jumped at the chance to have the wedding of my dreams in the most beautiful place in the Keys. Throughout the year of planning, the staff at the Hilton was incredible. Eventually, we ended up working with Carin, who was extremely flexible and patient with answering my millions of questions and constant changes.

We were also thoroughly impressed with Chef Michael's pre-wedding tasting event. He was very responsive to our opinions and reworked the menu on the spot with us. We felt like rock stars after leaving just our tasting. We could not even imagine how spectacular the actual wedding would be after that.

One of the most stressful parts of the planning process was booking the block of rooms for the guests, but Donna in sales was a dream to work with on this. She always answered by emails within the same day and was more than patient with my constant questions. I really appreciated her guidance throughout the process.

Our wedding day was everything I could have dreamed of and more. Throughout the day, Carin was in constant contact with us, and I felt very comfortable leaving everything in her hands. In fact, we just put all the decorating of the reception in her hands, and I could not have been happier with her decisions.

I would highly recommend the Hilton Key Largo Resort and Donna and Carin, in particular, for your wedding!

This is by far the most beautiful, secluded resort in the Keys and was the perfect spot for our wedding. We got married on Hammock Beach in the sand and the backdrop was STUNNING! The catering staff is prompt, professional, and easy to work with. We couldn't be happier with the Hilton. Thank you!!

Our Wedding at the Hilton Key Largo was nothing short of PERFECTION! We were married on May 3rd 2014 at Hammock Beach, the most beautiful private on site beach with our closest friends and family and it was truly the most amazing day of our lives! Carin Kronheim was the wedding planner and event coordinator we dealt with primarily and she over exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable!! The entire hotel staffs professionalism and standard of excellence was such a pleasure to be surrounded by I wish we could enjoy the experience all over again!!! We would highly recommend their venue services to anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding. I truly can't speak enough about every single individual that took care of us that weekend! It was the most blessed day and I thank them for making it so magical!

Our wedding weekend at the Hilton Key Largo was beyond perfect! We had our welcome dinner at the pool and our wedding in the Bay View ballroom. Both events were almost 100 people and they both were put together perfectly! The staff made sure that everything I needed was taken care of and Ann made sure everything came together just how we had planned.
The location really makes for a fun weekend for all of the guests and we loved the Treetops bar for late night cocktails! We also rented jet skis from Caribbean watersports on site which was made for a fun day the day after our wedding with our guests!
Overall this place is really an all inclusive wedding venue, we never left all weekend and were thoroughly entertained between the pool, beach and activities.

This was the easiest choice I made for my entire wedding. When I got engaged, I knew I wanted a small, intimate beach ceremony. But I'd scoured many locations in Miami and The Keys and the second I found this one location, I stopped looking. They had beautiful decor, so I barely had to put effort into anything along the lines of decorations. Together the hotel and the florist made my day absolutely perfect and I was able to stay within my budget. And the Hilton had coordinators that knew exactly what they were doing and how to make my day go by seamlessly.
I don't regret one second of the choice I made and the time I spent at the Hilton for the most special day of my life. It was perfect in every way.

The tree lined beach where we had our ceremony was breathtaking! The waterfront cocktail hour at sunset was stunning! The reception hall was memorable! It was a no-brainer to choose the Hilton Key Largo as my wedding venue. Once you see how gorgeous the property is you will know too! I compared the Hilton to the Marriott down the road, and let me tell you that there is NO comparison. Go with the Hilton! Ann worked with me and my mom mostly over email since we live in different places. She was responsive and had great ideas to help us along the way. Ann and her staff never missed a beat during my wedding weekend- I am so thankful to all of them for making it perfect. All my guests (from all over the country) were impressed with the hotel and the staff as well. We plan on returning very soon to relax and do more jetskiing!

The Hilton Key Largo Resort and Beach Club is AMAZING! I planned my destination wedding here from home in Virginia. After hours researching venues and e-mailing sites we decided that the Hilton Resort was best for us. We were able to stay at the same location as the ceremony and reception were being held. I worked with Ann, the catering manager, to plan everything from catering, to ceremony details, decor, and the cake. She was fast with responses, receptive to what I asked for, and provided great recommendations for vendors. All this was done without my husband or I seeing the venue.

We arrived 2 days before our wedding and everything was exactly as Ann had described and better than we expected. The beach where the ceremony was cleaned and set up the morning of the wedding and reserved for just is and our guests. The flow from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception was perfect. She even accommodated an appetizer change the day before the event and an extension of the reception when we were having too much fun to call it a night! After the ceremony she ensured that all my favors and guest book were returned and went above and beyond to find some family items that had been misplaced by me during the evening.

We stayed a few days after the ceremony and were constantly greeted by name and and congratulated by staff. I am incredibly pleased with the Hilton Key Largo, and continue to get fantastic compliments from our family and friends. We absolutely recommend this venue for a beach destination wedding!

The Hilton was an amazing place to get married. Everyone was so helpful and the resort is beautiful. Though my wedding coordinator has moved onto a new place from the Hilton, she did an amazing job from start to finish. I would highly recommend an afternoon ceremony and sunset pictures as the views are just awesome at that time. Great ballroom, location, food, and service!

What a great decision my daughter and son in law made in choosing the Hilton Key Largo for their destination wedding! Everyone in the hotel went out of their way and all of our guests were happy and very impressed with the property. We booked 47 rooms and I did not hear one complaint. Wendy was amazing and worked with my daughter from the moment we booked. She went over and above and set up her wedding site outside as well as the inside site as it began to look like rain. Then she waited as long as possible, and luckily the sun shined through and my daughter had her beautiful bayside wedding! During the reception, we had reserved the upstairs banquet room with glass windows looking out over the water and were blessed with a beautiful red sunset. It was the perfect weekend wedding thanks to Wendy and all of the staff at the Hilton Key Largo!

Choosing to have our wedding and reception at the Hilton Key Largo was really one of the best decisions we have made. I have never been to a resort with more caring staff before in my life; we really felt like they cared about all our requests and always had our best interests in mind. The coordinators and catering managers were incredibly flexible and understanding when we had to make last-minute changes to our plans. They are all very well-organized and detail-oriented, making sure we understood what was going on throughout the entire process and making sure it was exactly what we wanted. I couldn't have asked for a better outdoor venue, the mix of nature trails and beach look amazing in pictures - and the ballroom overlooking the water with AC was just what we needed afterwards! We plan on coming back to this resort as often as we can in the future, and sincerely hope you choose to have your next wedding here - you won't be disappointed!

Wow - that's really the best way to describe what the Hilton, Wendy in Catering and Kim in Rooms did for my new husband and me. We decided to do a destination wedding and needed a fun place that could hold our family since everyone would be traveling. Kim did an amazing job helping me organize our room block, accommodating all the special requests of our guests and making sure our welcome bags were received by all of our guests.
Planning a wedding in Florida all the way from Texas could be stressful, but Wendy was always there to help me feel at ease and make sure I was always comfortable with what we were doing. She had great suggestions to add to our weekend fun ("How about a welcome party on the beach instead of a formal rehearsal dinner?") and was always on top of every detail (“It looks like it’s going to rain a bit before the ceremony, let’s make sure all the paper products at the outdoor ceremony site are picked up and put back out after it’s done”). As an event planner I was worried about being a ball of stress on the wedding day since I wasn't going to be able to control every detail like I usually do for my clients, but Wendy was there to make sure that didn't happen. She seemed like she was practically everywhere that day and before I knew it, I was relaxed with a mimosa in hand and enjoying the day. The ceremony was flawless and the reception was even more fun! We did a buffet and the food was amazing. Get the suckling pig on your buffet if you do one, it was my favorite thing I ate the entire week we were there! And if you do an open bar or spend any time at the Tiki Bar on the beach, ask for Jesse the bartender. Every one of our guests knew him by the end of the weekend.
I can't imagine what my wedding would have been like without the Hilton and these two women. All I know is that if I could do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. The entire staff of the Hilton made us feel special and taken care of and really you can’t ask for anything more. I can’t thank you guys enough for turning my vision and dream into a reality!

If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Florida Keys..look no further! The Hilton Key Largo Resort was unbelievable. Wendy made it so easy to plan a wedding from Texas. All of the staff made our guest feel right at home. The view from the hotel rooms is breath taking! None of our 75 guest wanted to leave after such a magical weekend. I dreamed of a beach wedding all my life and everyone at Hilton Key Largo made all of those dreams come true!

My wedding was amazing at the Key Largo Grande. Getting married right along the water’s edge was breathtaking. The catering staff was very attentive. The food was great and they were able to customize the perfect menu for me and my fiancé; working around our various food allergies. I can’t wait to go back to the Key Largo Grande for our one year anniversary!! I really truley love this place.

charlene lopez was the best! she was very helpful in answering all questions and always got back to us quickly with anything we needed. her team turned our dream into a beautiful reality!! i would highly recommend the key largo for a destination location the have it all from scenery to indoor reception room that overlooks the gulf of mexico perfect for sunset ceremonies! other vendors i used that i thought were all top notch was myseasonsphotography.net , bobs steel drums, vision dj's and last but certainly not least petals with pizzazz! it seems like a challenge to plan a wedding from out of town but charlene and her team make the whole process easy!!

One word .. BEAUTIFUL! It was everything we could have hoped for! We wanted a laid back, no frills, kick off your shoes and have fun kind of wedding and that's exactly what we got! Throughout the planning we had a few issues come up with reservations and what not but the staff at the Key Largo Grande always directed us to the exact right person and the issues were resolved ASAP. They were great and so accomodating! The food was delicious and exactly what we were looking for! We chose their BBQ menu and the guests loved the mini fish sandwiches and sliders and hot dogs! Thank you so much! We look forward to returning for our anniversaries!

The hotel is beautiful! The food was great! Charlene was very nice and answered all of questions. The wedding site was beautiful and had an actual beach where all of the other resorts didn't. where the reception was held it was set up by the staff and it looked amazing. I would recommend the hilton if your planning on having your wedding in this area.

We were absolutely blown away by our wedding at the Key Largo Grande! From the first time we visited the resort, we knew it was the place where we wanted to get married, but when the big day finally arrived, we were just speechless at how it all turned out. From the food, to the service, to the venue itself, it was so much more than we had ever expected! Charlene Lopez is a genius and created a wedding for us that was everything we imagined and so much more! Our wedding at the Hilton in Key Largo was a fairytale come true! Working with Ann and Carin was fun and easy! They executed all of our ideas perfectly! The hotel and venue is gorgeous and very picturesque! After the reception, the Hilton allowed the after party at the Hotel Bar Treetops go late into the night, which made the wedding last longer and was so much fun! I never wanted it to end! The food was also delicious and bridal suite amazing! The wedding cake or cupcakes comes with the package and they work with an amazing baker and artist! We will return to the Hilton for every anniverary!

I used the Hilton Key Largo Resort for our wedding weekend. It was PHENOMENAL! If you love natural beauty, this is the perfect venue for you. We are from Miami so it was a great mini-destination wedding for most of us. Our guests booked over 60 rooms, and everyone was extremely impressed with the property. It's a hidden gem that consists of spectacular views of the bay and mangrove islands, a lush gumbo limbo forest that lines the waterway, with a dock that had many manatee sightings.
My contact for the Hilton was Carin Kronheim and my room block manager was Donna Cristianson. They were both very responsive, professional, and flexible. Carin was absolutely wonderful to work with. I could sense her excitement in our event and she did everything she could to grant our requests.
Friday morning we did yoga on Hammock Beach. Saturday morning I was paddle-boarding with all my girlfriends (rentals from onsite Caribbean Watersports), hours before the ceremony. Our ceremony was on Hammock beach, and the Reception was on North Beach. Lucky for us, there weren't any other weddings booked so we had a gorgeous ballroom as a back-up for inclement weather.
The ceremony and reception were magical. I could not imagine a nicer ceremony site- a beach with trees creating a natural archway. The reception was in between trees with bistro lighting and a sandy dance floor. The venue was spectacular, all the guests were blown away. We had a buffet style dinner, and everyone raved about the food. Because of the noise ordinance everything had to stop at 10pm- but no problem there…. The Hilton let us bring in a Karaoke DJ to take over the hotel bar so the party could continue. Man- was that a hit!
We ended the weekend with a lovely buffet brunch in the Cypress Ball room… I know I am bias, but I think it was the best wedding I've EVER been too:) I will post photos to the Hilton FB page if you are interested in seeing photos.

Had the pleasure of working with Magda for over a year planning our special day at the Resort in the beginning of December. Baker’s Cay was an absolute dream wedding venue. The property is stunning and the staff was wonderful. Very professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Magda went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and things were as we wanted. The event coordination and service were wonderful and made the weekend feel effortless. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything was and how much they loved the resort. We’re so happy we chose Baker’s Cay, it was the perfect setting for our wedding!

Baker’s Cay was the perfect location for our daughter’s destination wedding weekend. Beginning with the resort itself, our family and guests were blown away by the natural beauty, pristine beaches, and variety of entertainment and dining options on site. There was no need to leave property for the entire weekend and all guest were sad to go! The entire staff from the valets, concierge, dining services and bartenders were all top notch and made us all feel so welcome during our stay. The event team was remarkable throughout the entire planning process and our coordinator Josh ensured the wedding day went flawlessly. We had the most magical time at Baker’s Cay and our families cannot thank the team enough for such a wonderful experience from start to finish.

It was a gorgeous location, and it was very easy to work with the resort's event planners. I put an itinerary together for the event, and I was surprised how on the big day I was able to relax while steaming my dressing and getting ready. Anna's team just made everything happen and coordinated with my vendors! Our photos turned out perfect with the beautiful water and forest setting. I wouldn't change it for a thing. I want to get married over and over again! We felt celebrated and special. It was so fun!

It had the perfect, private beach wedding we were looking for. The event staff was very helpful, Tina was the best. Our reception was held in the Bayview Room, which had an amazing view of the Keys. Hotel will be undergoing renovations soon, so I would wait until those are completed or at least inquire about them.

I got married here this past weekend and it was absolutely fantastic! Ann was our on-site coordinator and she was wonderful in making sure everything was taken care of and executed beautifully. Since it was a destination wedding, I was nervous in not being able to control every detail but I didn't even have to worry because Ann is a pro! From our welcome dinner to the ceremony to reception - I was blown away how gorgeous everything turned out. Donna handled our room blocks and was very accommodating and helpful which I really appreciated since we had 90+ guests! As for the hotel - the grounds are gorgeous and a stunning place for a wedding with the combination of beach/sunset views as well as greenery and nature trails (perfect for photo ops). I will note that the rooms do need updating so if possible, splurge for an oceanview room. The rest of the hotel staff are also very friendly (Michael, Judith - thank you! Also all the bartenders - Jason, Matt, JP, others I can't remember because they are great bartenders haha). Lastly, an extra bonus is they allow dogs so we were able to have ours be part of the weekend as well. :)

My husband and I had our dream wedding. Despite the heat, our wedding weekend was perfect. The resort is big enough to house most sizes of weddings. Ann was very helpful with planning. Brides, if you have a question that needs answering soon, call before emailing. She typically answers. They are a well oiled machine at the Hilton Key Largo. The ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner ran smoothly without any issues. The preferred vendor list was helpful, and the vendors we chose were just as wonderful as the resort. Neither one of us had ever been to the resort before our wedding weekend which could be nerve wracking; but trust me, it was everything I wanted it to be. Most hotel food is just OK. Not the case here. Both rehearsal dinner's and the reception's food were delicious, and I received many compliments on it. Our rehearsal dinner was done outside on the upper pool deck, and our reception was in a ball room. Both were nicely decorated with their simple "house decorations." There was no need to upgrade or bring your own unless you really wanted to. The price I was quoted was very reasonable. The cake was made the way I wanted it with 3 tiers of different flavors and fillings. The only negative is that there is zero cell reception on the entire resort. As a vacation spot, that would be a bonus. However, for a wedding where you need to communicate with family, bridal party, and guests, it was difficult. My husband came up with the suggestion of having a master room list of your guests. That way you could call there room number when needed. If you are looking for a destination wedding, I strongly recommend The Hilton Key Largo. Most of our friends and family planned a mini-vacation around our wedding, so we got to spend a lot of time with our guests and not just a 3 hour reception.

We had our wedding here June 11,2015 and it was amazing! We stayed for a week and everything was gorgeous and relaxing! Our guests are still talking about the food at the reception and the amazing grounds this hotel is on!
Our Veiw from our suite on the forth floor was breathtaking! The pool and beach were both clean. The drinks were fresh and amazing!
I couldn't have asked for a better staff to take care of us on our special day!!

We saw the two upstairs ballrooms that this location had & fell in immediately. The windows with the natural light, the unique chandeliers, and the wood, vaulted ceilings, as well as the neutral ceilings were perfect. Also, Ann (the senior catering manager) and her team are all very responsive...I'd have to wait 24 hrs or less for a phone call or email back, which has been wonderful. Also, their food & beverage packages were competitive, and they include a lot with their packages (some decor, wedding cake, and alter). They also allow us access to the spaces for the entire day of (and the day before if they're not booked) to assist in decorating the spaces with items we want to bring in. I can't wait to get married here!

When my fiance and I first walked into the Hilton Key Largo, we knew it was exactly what we wanted. Ann, the wedding coordinator, was so nice to work with and although we had our own wedding planner as well, Ann was there throughout the whole planning and the entire wedding.
There were a few nit-picky things that we went through while working the the Hilton (booking guestrooms, cake-makers, and whatnot) but really, the wedding was PERFECT. Food, alcohol, service, all wonderful. Everything about the venue was incredible, even down to some of the unplanned perks, such as dolphins on the beach during our sunset pictures as newlyweds.
The Hilton had some mixed reviews before I booked the venue but I can honestly say that I am SOOOOO thrilled that we had our wedding there.

I had not seen this space prior to my wedding. I was absolutely thrilled with the location, set up, and service of Ann M. and her team. They took care of everything! We had a wonderful time and the pictures are just beautiful!

My husband and I could not be any happier with our wedding at the Hilton Key Largo. Their resident wedding planner, Ann, and her assistant Erin, are remarkable!! They were able to read me as a bride and gave both Rob and I exactly what we wanted/needed on our big day. As busy as they are, they really make you believe that you are the only bride that matters and they will do anything for you. I can't speak enough about how amazing these women are!!

The food is remarkable! You can go down for a tasting, but there really is no need. Everything is delicious. That includes the wedding cake.

What we received from the Hilton for the price of it all was above and beyond. Our guests were so happy and it was the most perfect weekend and day. I wish we could do it all again!!

The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because we did have some trouble with the reservations at the front desk. However, they fixed everything and it turned out great!! Just make sure your guests know to double check their rooms before traveling down and everything will be perfect :)

Our experience at the Hilton was extraordinary! It's unique in that it is a home to native trees and plants. Although you are on the water, it feels like you are in the center of mother nature as well...it's a wonderful place to have a beach wedding!! The Hilton is also a great place for priceless sunset pictures! ... If you are looking for a perfect place as far as location, the Hilton comes pretty close to a dream destination wedding. If you are willing to spend more for location...the Hilton is an awesome suggestion!!

This resort is absolutely beautiful! It made my wedding such a dream come true. Though it is pricey, you barely need to spend money on the decorations and extras because the nature and other scenery itself is simply perfect! They are very flexible about making your wedding and reception however/wherever you want it. If you are on a budget, you will end up having to rent things from outside vendors instead of using the resort's, but it turned out to be very easy and seamless.

Our wedding at the Key Largo Grande was all that we had envisioned! The venue is stunning and our ceremony on the beach was perfect. The reception was wonderful- everyone raved about the food- and the views were amazing! Our entire group loved the resort and we all enjoyed a day on the beach after the wedding. My husband LOVED the suite that we were in- again, the view was awesome. We couldn't have picked a better spot for our big day. Thank you for making it so memorable!

THE WEDDING WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! everything was absolutely beautiful... i couldn't have imagined it better. Our wedding consultant was great... until she had a baby and we got another lady. BUT then she came back! she helped us through every step and helped make our dream wedding a reality. The food was amazing. They also allowed us to do a lot of my husband's family's crazy traditions indoors. Everything was MAGNIFICENT! The resort is absolutely beautiful. and the view from the wedding suite (which was included) was spectacular. The wedding was right on the beach and was absolutely stunning and the reception room was also beautiful. They helped us get in contact with many local vendors and most of them were awesome. although the price was very high, and there was a 20% service charge added onto anything and everything! but besides for that we couldn't have had a more beautiful wedding!

This is a beautiful place for a wedding and the wedding planner is so accommodating.

Great place for beach wedding

I loved my wedding at the Key Largo Hilton! Although I had wanted an outdoor ceremony, it rained all weekend so we had to do some last minute changes. Scott, the food and bar manager, was amazing! He knew what I wanted if we needed to be inside and made it happen! The food was great, the rooms were beautiful and they did an amazing job setting up our reception. I am so glad I chose this location!!

We had our wedding recently at the Key largo Hilton and Anne went above and beyond for us! She had recommend all of our vendors and our favorite was our photographer Micha Vandiver Photography and Flowers by Darenda! They were incredible and the staff at the Hilton went above and beyond to make our day extra special! We will be back here for our anniversary and we highly recommended this resort and all our vendors! Thank you!!

The Key Largo Grande is a beautiful venue for a destination wedding and the staff was accomodating to our group's needs.

If you want an extremely honest review, read this. Our experience at Baker’s Cay was TERRIBLE - If we could go back in time knowing what we do now, we would spend more money to have our wedding at ANY other resort in the keys.

The site/location is beautiful, but that was truly the only good thing about it.

Baker’s Cay has two contacts for weddings: Magda and Laurel. When we booked our wedding here in January 2024, Magda was our point of contact. We live in Tennessee and couldn’t visit in person, so she assured us we would be able to do everything over the phone/email/video walk throughs. This was EXTREMELY difficult. Communicating with Magda was impossible - anytime I had a simple question for myself or my other vendors, it took her WEEKS to respond and I often had to call/email/text her multiple times to finally get a response. Every time she told me I would hear from her/she would be sending me something, she didn’t. So I again would have to call and email her over and over to get what I needed to plan. Because of this, we had many details that were still not figured out even 48 hours prior to our wedding.

24 hours prior to we were still making food and beverage selections to hit our minimum because I had asked for our options weeks prior and never received them. Day-of (4 hours before my wedding) my wedding planner (a separate vendor) was still making adjustments because I never received email responses to my questions to Magda regarding table & seating options for our reception. I don’t know about you, but my expectation for a five-star destination wedding experience did not include stressing over planning details while I was getting ready for it and trying to enjoy that time with my bridesmaids.

Additionally, Magda assured us we would have things ready in our room when we arrived that we never received: a pack and play for our infant daughter, an ironing board for the groomsmen, and a steamer for the ladies. My husband requested but didn’t receive the ironing board until after our ceremony started, so he was unable to iron his suit.

At the end of our reception we watched the staff box our wedding cake with the expectation of bringing it to our room - they threw ALL of it away. My husband and I didn’t get to have any outside of one bite for our cake cutting photos and were largely looking forward to enjoying it the following day. Money wasted and the experience of having a cake gone - not to mention, we couldn’t take any to freeze and have for our anniversary next year.

Laurel ran our wedding day, so when we inquired with her where our cake was, we were told she’d “check on it” and NEVER HEARD BACK. Again, it took multiple texts with Magda to get a straight answer that our cake was gone and we wouldn’t be getting any. They tried to place the blame on our wedding planner and tell us it was her fault. (Our planner was AMAZING- it wasn’t her fault ).

On top of this, in your wedding contract they include “complimentary champagne and strawberries” in your room after your wedding and a complimentary breakfast in your room the next morning. We didn’t receive either one. We ended up going to Calusa for breakfast, which we were charged for.

Our room, being the “nicest room on the property” was not. When we arrived it still had confetti/stickers on the wall and windows from the previous guests. The lights in the bathroom didn’t work. To top it off- if it rains, you’ll need an umbrella inside. There is a hole in the ceiling above the toilet that will shower you.

At the end of our stay, we emailed Magda and Laurel with all of this. Magda met with us personally to discuss things, apologized and made us feel better. To correct it all, we only asked to be compensated for our breakfast that was supposed to be complimentary, and for our wedding cake that was thrown away by their staff.

To make it up to us, Magda offered to compensate us for our entire stay- room, meals, etc. We had our bill printed at the front desk and gave it to her - roughly $2000 in charges that she offered to cover completely. She OFFERED this, we would have never expected it.

Our wedding was November 11,2024. It is now December 5th as I write this and we were not compensated for ANY of it. She assured me in an email on November 21st we would be comped within 72 hours but we never were. She is not responding to my phone calls or emails. And we have ALSO not received our $2600 wedding DEPOSIT back that is included in the actual venue contract. She guaranteed we would receive this in 10 business days and we still haven’t.

We are beyond angry. We’re sad that our wedding experience was this. That it was incredibly stressful to plan and even now weeks later still causing us grief. Something you’re spending THOUSANDS of dollars on should not be like this. I wouldn’t recommend Baker’s Cay to anyone, whether for a wedding or just a vacation.


***UPDATE: it took us contacting customer support through our Hilton Honors account and having a service respresentative contact managers at Baker’s Cay to get this resolved. Management had no idea that Magda offered to cover our charges, meaning Magda simply said that to make us happy enough to check out of the resort. We have still not heard back from her. Thankfully the resort has quality employees in their accounting department who were responsive and helpful. They were able to get us both our compensation and wedding deposit back.

If this review didn’t help you, know this: our other wedding vendors and companies we worked with on Key Largo stated Magda has been an issue and they’ve had other wedding parties with bad experiences due to her. The accounting department at Baker’s Cay ALSO confirmed they’ve had to makeup for Magda’s wrong doings.

If you still choose to have your wedding there, get everything she says IN WRITING so you have it when you need it.
