    Great food, Great service & Great Staff

    I hired Backyard Bistro off of online reviews for a rehearsal dinner for 90 people at our location. I give them a rating of 5+ out of 5. The staff was extremely friendly and was very concerned that everything was up to our expectations. They asked several times throughout the night if we were satisfied and if there was anything that needed to be addressed, which there was not. The food was great, so good that guests kept on coming up to us and praising how good the food was. I was extremely happy and only wished I was able to eat more because it was so good. Their personnel were very friendly and the trays of food were always full so much so that no one ever had to wait for them to bring out more food. They replenished the trays whenever they saw them getting low. The bartender was very accommodating and completely took care of the bar. If I ever have another event in the area, they will be the first one I contact.

    Backyard Bistro ....amazing

    Backyard Bistro catered my sons wedding on 8/5/23 and I can't say enough good things about them.
    The planning process was great. Eileen is very prompt in answering questions and so accommodating.
    The food as delicious. We had a 2 entree buffet and it was all fresh and hot. Everyone raved about it.
    The service was outstanding.
    The bartenders, wait staff, and chefs were professional and kind and quick to help with anything we needed.
    It made the day even more special

    Thank you for such a great event.

    Amazing every step of the way

    Eileen was the point of contact and she was amazing. She answered all my questions via email, in person and over the phone. She was professional through the whole process and you could tell she knew what she was doing. We have our wedding food catered for 120 ppl including children and had then bartending and we bohght our own alcohol after getting a permit. When we sat at the restaurant the chef/owner came out and introduced himself and was very nice and gave us tons of food to try and take home. The cost was a little under 4,000 and we had our rehearsal dinner there and to rent the room was $250 and it held 60 ppl. Thank you backyard Bistro for making this part of the planning super easy. I enjoyed working with you guys!

    Fabulous food for COVID wedding

    They did a great job! Elieen is very flexible and food was great. My husband has celiac and they were very accommodating.

    Responsive, Professional, & Delicious

    I am so glad we went with Backyard Bistro as our wedding caterer! Eileen made the process incredibly smooth and easy at every step of the way. We had a buffet and our guests really loved the food! The staff that came were very professional and responsive to what was happening. We also hired our bartenders through them, which made everything nice and easy. They served the beer and wine we bought ourselves. I highly recommend Backyard Bistro! Their service and food really made our day even better!

    We had to re plan our wedding on the Tuesday before the event (4 days before) because hurricane Florence was Forecast to hit during the weekend our indoor/outdoor wedding. The responsiveness on Eileen in the menu selecting and budgeting process was great- my parents were in the Wake county while my husband and I live in Houston. They provided my parents with a tasting to pick out entree options, pick out a few appetizers to have passed around during cocktail hour, and worked around my hustbands celiac requirements.

    Backyard Bistro catered our wedding recently and we were so impressed! From the beginning, they were extremely responsive and very accommodating. There's a variety of options on the menu to cater to various diets (we had some vegetarians/non-pork eaters at our wedding), and were perfectly willing to cater two special meals for two vegan guests. Moreover, they provided cold drinks for our guests to bring out to the ceremony (it was an outdoor wedding in July), which was such a great touch. The staff are very professional and efficient, and they made sure to take care of my mother, who was handicapped at the the time, by getting her food and drinks. They also made sure that we, the couple, had plenty to eat and drink throughout the night. Last but not least, the food is delicious. So many of the guests have commented on just how good the food was and the spread was exactly what we had in mind, since we were aiming for a more laid-back, Southern meal. Personally, the jalapeno cornbread and pulled pork are a major winners. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I can't recommend them enough.

    The Backyard Bistro staff cooked and served a beautiful dinner for my daughters wedding. Guests made many complements on the delicious dinner. I was surprised when our planner suggested them as a caterer, but after the tasting, we realized BYB has amazing chefs and wonderful options for all budgets. We chose a three entrée buffet menu. Delicious, hot food and service from a very attentive staff.

    We are so glad we worked with Backyard Bistro for our wedding. We worked with Eileen, and she was always professional, prompt and detailed in her responses. We also loved that she was flexible, transparent, and helped us find the most value for our budget. We got so many compliments for the delicious food of course! The catering and bartending teams were professional, friendly and thoughtful - they even saved a last bottle of cheer wine for my husband and I without us even asking them to! We highly recommend working with Backyard Bistro.

    We had Backyard Bistro cater both our wedding and our rehearsal dinner and both were fantastic. We had a whole hog BBQ for the wedding and an oyster roast for the rehearsal dinner.

    Coordinating the catering and number of people was incredibly easy. Eileen Johnson of the catering team was super responsive and easy to work with via email. She let me change the number of guests even a few days before the wedding, which was so nice and helpful!

    The food was fantastic for both the rehearsal and the wedding. We are still hearing from our guests about how great the wedding food was. The only downside was that almost all the food was eaten so we didn't enjoy any leftovers (which is not a real complaint--everyone loved it!). Backyard Bistro provided tons of things with catering, like ice, drink canisters, set up, servers, bartenders, etc. They were a pleasure to work with and made sure our event was extremely successful!

    Backyard Bistro was great to work with for our wedding. We were able to sample the menu before we chose what we wanted and they were very accommodating. Everyone loved the food and they were very easy to work with and knowledgeable about what we needed!

    I absolutely LOVED working with Backyard Bistro for our wedding. They created a custom menu that included 3 "themed" buffet stations and 1 dessert station. We had a mexican food station (flautas, chips, salsa, guacamole, cheese sauce), southern BBQ station (BBQ, cole slaw, hush puppies), and a "fancy" food station (steak, summer salad, crab cakes, salt potatoes). The biggest hit was the Mexican food station. The BBQ was good but the hush puppies were a little soggy (it was super hot and humid and rained so that may have contributed). The salad, crab cakes, and potatoes were absolutely delicious. It looked like the steak was a prime rib type of steak and was good but very very salty. We originally tasted thinly sliced cuts of beef tenderloin but did not get that on our wedding day.

    We also used Backyard Bistro's bartenders. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. There was a mix up at one point in the night and they were getting ready to leave halfway through the wedding but once we asked if they could stay (since we paid them for the full night), they did without question.

    Above all, Eileen and Joe, the Catering Director and Chef are absolutely amazing to work with! Joe is a great chef! Eileen did a great job returning my emails and phone calls and making sure that everything was exactly what we wanted. The price was incredibly affordable for what we ordered! I would recommend Backyard Bistro for any wedding!

    Backyard Bistro was great to work with for our wedding. We were able to sample the menu before we chose what we wanted and they were very accommodating and were even able to make 2 special vegan meals for myself and my sister who are both vegan. The chef and staff that we dealt with the day of the event were all very nice and professional and the food was great. I would definitely recommend them for any catered event.
